After the historic announcement by Jon Page at the sVo Ultimate Victory PPV that the Dynasty Wrestling brand was being resurrected, it was today announced when the first show would take place.

Speaking at an event in London to open the Sanctioned Violence’s newly acquired ‘Stratford Arena’, Page confirmed to journalists that a special ‘PPV’ event would take place on the 10th of September 2023, the anniversary of the DW holding its first ever show on the 10th September 2001, the day before the world was forever changed.

The 10th September PPV is set to be called ‘Destruction’, a reference to the weekly show that DW used to run with the likes of Rick Lacey, Jet, Shawn Storm, Chris Boswell, Mike Best, Steve Jason & Psyko Stevo on the roster.

Page also announced that the 10th September PPV, which will see the crowning of a DW Heavyweight Champion, would be followed up the very next night on the 11th September with the debut of the new weekly DW show, titled ‘Clash’.

Page announced that the multi-purpose ‘Stratford Arena’ would be the home to the DW brand, but potentially hold other shows in the future as well. Built within the footprint of the Olympic Stadium from the 2012 London games, the ‘Stratford Arena’ is part of the ongoing regenerative efforts in the Newham borough area and is set to be a leading venue for entertainment when it opens in a few months’ time.

As part of the ongoing Sanctioned Violence expansion, the addition of Dynasty Wrestling will also see sVo’s Showdown & Proving Grounds as well as Project:Violence’s Uprising revert to weekly programming schedules, with Owner Jon Page noting the ongoing high demand from broadcast partner HOTv for live wrestling action.
