Homecoming

We open up to the backstage area where we see Jon Page and a few assistants standing, conversing amongst each other.

Jon Page: “He should be arriving here shortly.”

He and the assistants look off into the distance and their looks of waiting turn into smiles. A black Cadillac Escalade pulls up and stops a few paces in front of them. They make their way to the door and one of the assistants walks up to the door and opens it.

Assistant: “Sir…”

Two Christian Louboutin oxfords land onto the concrete as “The Hollywood Rockstar” Cody Williams emerges from the vehicle to the roar of the crowd inside the building.

Jon Page: “Cody…”

“The Hollywood Rockstar” removes his designer sunglasses, folds them neatly, and hangs them on his breast pocket. He reaches into the vehicle and pulls out his newly won sVo Championship, placing it onto his shoulder.

Jon Page: “Welcome home.”

Cody flashes a smile and then turns his attention to the championship.

Cody Williams: “It feels good…”

He pats the centre plate and then turns his head back to Page.

Cody Williams: “Real good.”

Jon Page: “Shall we?”

Page places a hand on Cody’s free shoulder and extends the other towards the building. The two of them accompanied by the assistants start to make their way to the Goodfellas Casino Arena entrance as Showdown starts…. NOW!

SHOWDOWN!

The entrance video package for Sunday Night Showdown begins, accompanied by the theme song of ‘Showdown’ by Pendulum as highlights of past action from 2013 to present day are sped up, showing the likes of Bobby Dean, Roscoe Shame, Night, Jay Wildman, Cody Williams & Nathan Paradine. As the video package finally comes to an end with an extended look at the ‘Sunday Night Showdown’ logo, the camera cuts to an exterior shot of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, before cutting to a live shot of inside the arena. The camera pans around the sold out crowd, most of them on their feet and screaming loudly whilst trying to get their homemade sign shown in front of the camera. The cameras finally head over to the commentary table, where Julian Fiasco and Jeremiah Sloan welcome the fans watching on TV to the broadcast and begin to break down some of the action that will take place on tonight’s show!

Ringside
Back from the Dead

‘There And Back’ by Daughtry hits the sound system and there is a cheer from the crowd as the lights in the arena dim. After a few seconds the massive figures of Curtis Knight & Athena step through the curtain and onto the top of the entrance ramp! There is a huge pop from crowd as Curtis Knight & Athena pose at the top of the entrance ramp for a few seconds, before slowly making their way down to the ring. Knight & Athena slap hands with the fans around the ringside area, before climbing into the ring and calling for a microphone from the ring announcer.

Knight stands in the middle of the ring with the microphone, looking a little emotional from the reaction from the crowd, as Athena stands to his side. The pair wait for the applause to slowly fade before speaking.

Curtis Knight:” Wow, what a reaction!”

There is a big pop from the crowd.

Curtis Knight: “I must admit, I was a little nervous coming out here tonight, coming out here to explain myself to all of you people.”

Knight looks around at the crowd, before glancing back at his wife.

Curtis Knight: “For the past ten years, I have let all of you think I was gone, think I was dead. Some of you mourned for me…. I have lived a lie for all that time and for that I am truly sorry to all of you….”

Knight looks down at the floor for a few seconds, composing himself.

Curtis Knight: “Over ten years ago, I was in a pretty bad way, I was in a pretty dark place. I got involved in a few things that put my family in danger. The only thing I could do to keep them safe was to disappear, and to his credit there was one man that stepped up to help me and that was Jimmy Moretti.”

There is a mixed reaction for the now incarcerated former half owner of the sVo.

Curtis Knight: “Jimmy helped me disappear, made it look like I was dead, and my family was safe. I was fine, living in the middle of the woods, totally isolated from the world with my beautiful wife for company. I kept the secret safe for the sake of my family, I didn’t reveal the lie when my former friend Mike Best had a fake funeral for me on Showdown, I didn’t reveal the lie no matter what was written or said about me…. that was until his little weasel son of Jimmy, Anthony Moretti found out the secret and decided to use it against my wife….”

Knight looks angry again just thinking about it, as the fans boo the name of the Blood Money leader.

Curtis Knight: “Well Anthony, it’s Halloween and you have ‘brought me back from the dead’…. Kid, this is going to be worse than the scariest Halloween movie for you, because everything you have put Athena through, I am going to put you through tenfold. I am back for one reason and one reason only, to destroy Anthony Moretti!”

There is a big cheer from the crowd, however the cheer doesn’t last for too long as suddenly “Woke Up This Morning” by A3 hits the sound system, and onto the top of the entrance ramp steps Anthony Moretti himself!

Moretti is dressed in a smart designer Italian suit and doesn’t look like he has come for a fight, however, has does have back up just in case in the form of Blood Money. Flanked by the Von Drake’s, Money Malone & Joe Barone but notably not Johnny All Star, Morett smirks at the crowd reaction.

Anthony Moretti: “Ok shut up you inbreds, I have a microphone in hand, and I am ready to speak!”

The crowd boo even louder as Moretti looks back at his Blood Money teammates and smirks.

Anthony Moretti: “I knew the people of Las Vegas were dumb, but you are seriously out here cheering for someone that has lied to you for over ten years!”

Boos ring out around the arena, as Moretti and Knight lock eyes from down the entrance ramp.

Anthony Moretti: “This man made you think he was dead! You people cried for him! You mourned him! Know his lie has been revealed and you want to CHEER?”

Moretti looks disgusted as he looks out at the crowd.

Curtis Knight:” Hey Moretti, enough talk! How about you come down here and we settle this with our fists! Unless you want to run away like Vendetta of course?”

The crowd like that situation, but Moretti quickly waves them off.

Anthony Moretti: “Knight, I am a former sVo Champion, you have never even had a match in an sVo ring! You want to get in the ring then step on the bottom of that ladder and work your way up like everyone else!”

Knight and Athena look at each other and shake their heads in disbelief.

Curtis Knight: “Moretti, sooner or later me and you are meeting in this very ring. How much pain I have to put you and your friends through before that point is entirely up to you!”

Knight’s music hits the sound system and Knight and Athena stare up the entrance ramp at Blood Money, ready to go to war!

Backstage
Rematch

The cameras head backstage where Jon Page is watching the scene between Curtis Knight and Blood Money play out on the giant screen on the wall, a smirk on his face at the pain that Anthony Moretti and his group are being put through.

Suddenly there is a knock at the office door which then slowly opens, and Page does his best to pretend to have a neutral expression on his face from the scene on the TV, as into the office walks Jacob Izaz!

‘The Philly Flash’ doesn’t look impressed as he marches into the office and slams his palms on Page’s desk.

Jacob Izaz: “Boss man, what do you not see around my waist right now?”

Page looks confused for a few seconds before answering.

Jon Page: “Erm, the title belt?”

Izaz nods his head as he slaps his hand on the desk again.

Jacob Izaz: “Very observant, I guess that’s why you are the boss man. I should have the Las Vegas Championship around my waist right now. I should have picked up that winner’s purse at Vendetta. Malone screwed me and even Stevie Wonder can see that!”

Page slowly nods his head, not being able to disagree with anything that Izaz has said.

Jacob Izaz: “Now reversing the decision would be the right thing to do, but that would rob me of the chance to slap the yellow off of Money Malone’s teeth again… so the very least you can do is give me a rematch for the title, TONIGHT!”

The fans watching the action on the giant screen cheer of the idea, but Page has other ideas.

Jon Page: “Sorry, sorry, no can do. If I go around reversing the decisions of all the officials, then we will have chaos around here and I will have a mutiny on my hands! Now what I can do is book you in a #1 contenders match against another man that has been making waves in the Las Vegas Championship division – Kenneth Williams!”

Izaz doesn’t look too impressed with the suggestion.

Jacob Izaz: “I see how it is Page…..”

Izaz turns and begins to leave, until Page shouts back to him.

Jon Page: “Tell you what, to sweeten the deal and that winner’s purse that is up for grabs, how about I make that match the main event tonight!”

Izaz stops mid-step and looks back.

Jacob Izaz: “That works for me….”

Izaz exits the office and the cameras cut back to ringside.

Single Match
Kyle McRae vs. Orlando Fox

The sound of ‘Scotland the Brave’ blasts over the sound system as the energetic Kyle McRae bounces onto the top of the entrance ramp and holds his arms out wide by his side. McRae stares around at the sold-out crowd with a huge smile on his face, before marching down the entrance ramp towards the ring. McRae does a whole lap of the ring and slaps hands with as many fans as he can, before sliding headfirst into the ring and doing a forward roll and a jump before landing on the second rope of the turnbuckle. McRae signals to the fans again as the music begins to fade out.

Boyz-N-Tha-Hood by Eazy E hits the sound system and the fans boo as Orlando Fox slowly steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp and poses for the crowd. Fox slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp, trash talking the fans in the front row as he goes. Fox soon reaches the ring and rolls under the bottom rope and steps onto the bottom rope before performing his signature taunt to the crowd, which brings out even more boos for Fox!

The fans are on their feet for the opening match of the night as the referee calls for the bell to be rung and the action to get started! McRae and Fox lock up in the middle of the ring and jockey for position, before Fox uses his strength to push McRae back into the corner of the ring. The referee calls for a rope break, but as both men slowly let go of each other, Fox catches McRae with a swift kick to the midsection. The fans boo Fox as McRae doubles over in pain and Fox walks away looking pleased with himself.

McRae gets back up to a standing position, but Fox is quickly on the youngster with some big right hands before grabbing him by the arm. Fox whips McRae across the ring and into the ring ropes, before knocking him down to the mat with a stiff clothesline as he bounces back. The fans continue to boo on the former sVo Hardcore Champion as he punishes McRae with some kicks and stomps as the young Scot tries to get back up to a standing position.

McRae finally reaches his feet, but as he does Fox swings a wild arm looking for a second clothesline. However, McRae ducks the arm of his opponent before nailing him with a knee to the kidneys. Fox staggers forward in pain, and McRae takes his chance to take his opponent down for the first time with a side Russian leg sweep! The fans cheer the move from McRae, but Fox quickly pulls himself up to a standing position. Fox tries to regain control of the match with some right hands in the direction of his opponent, but McRae ducks and weaves out of the way before landing an impressive kicking combo to his opponent.

Fox backs away, but McRae keeps the offense up as he runs at the former Hardcore Champion and takes him down to the mat with a Japanese Arm Drag. Fox quickly staggers back up, but McRae is there again with a Standing Uranage, into to a standing moonsault before making the cover on his opponent!

One,

Two,

No!

Fox manages to get a shoulder up off of the mat before the three can be counted and keeps himself alive in the match!

The crowd continue to cheer the young Scot on as he pulls Fox back up to his feet, and lands some more stiff kicks. Fox looks for a clothesline out of desperation, but McRae ducks under the arm of his opponent, before landing a twisting neckbreaker. McRae follows up by grabbing Fox as he gets to his feet and sending him into the ring ropes with an Irish whip, before taking him down with a Running Back Elbow! Orlando Fox might be KO’ed as McRae makes another cover!

One,

Two,

No!

Everyone in the arena thought it was all over right there, but somehow Fox gets his shoulder up off of the mat once again! McRae stares down at his opponent in disbelief, wondering just what he has to do in order to put his opponent away for the three count! McRae pulls Fox to a standing position before throwing him into the corner of the ring. McRae looks to follow up with a running clothesline in the corner, but Fox somehow stumbles out of the way! McRae hits the turnbuckle hard, but as he turns around holding his chest, Fox doubles him over with a kick to the midsection before landing a snap suplex!

Now both men are down on the mat and hurting as the referee begins a ten count! Both men slowly rise up to their feet around the count of five, before trading some right hands in the middle of the ring. Fox gets the better of the exchange, before following up with a spinebuster on his opponent! It looks like Fox is going to pick up the victory despite his opponent dominating the match, as he rises up to his feet and calls for his finishing move!

Fox waits for McRae to get to his feet before looking for the ‘Remedy’, but before he can hit the move, McRae wriggles free of the grasp of his opponent and takes him down to the mat with a Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick! The fans pop for the move, as Fox stumbles up to his feet with a look of shock on his face! McRae follows up on the move with a Back Drop Driver in the middle of the ring before making the cover!

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and it is the young Scot Kyle McRae who picks up the hard fought first victory of the night! The fans rise to their feet to cheer for the victor, as the referee raises his arm in the air in the middle of the ring.

Winner via pinfall: Kyle McRae

Backstage
Trick or Treat

After the impressive victory for Kyle McRae over the former Hardcore champion, the cameras head backstage where Katie Smith is standing outside the locker room of former Las Vegas Champion, and nearly current sVo Champion, Gunner Lang. There is a big cheer from the fans watching on the giant screen in the arena as the camera zooms in on the name ‘Gunner Lang’ on the locker room door, before zooming back out to Katie Smith, microphone in hand.

Katie Smith: “Ladies and gentlemen, I am here outside the locker room of Gunner Lang, hoping to get a word with the man that very nearly became the sVo Champion in the main event of the Vendetta PPV a few weeks ago. Now no one has seen or heard from Lang since that night, but hopefully I will have an exclusive for you here tonight. Here goes….”

Smith turns and knocks on the locker room door before waiting for the answer. Footsteps can slowly be heard from the other side of the door, but as it opens it is Flip Dixon standing on the other side, not Lang.

Flip Dixon: “Let me guess Katie, trick or treat?”

Smith clearly doesn’t understand the joke as she panics into her reply.

Katie Smith: “Actually Flip, I was hoping for a word with your Dad. I wanted to know if he had any comment on what JD James at the PPV?”

Dixon wipes the hair out of his eyes as he looks down on the pretty interviewer shaking his head.

Flip Dixon: “My Dad isn’t here tonight; he knows that after what JD James did at the PPV that he wouldn’t be able to control himself if he was to run into him tonight. He has been screwed by two of the men thought were his biggest friends in the industry, Johnny All Star and JD James. The only comfort we have from that is that Johnny doesn’t even have the title belt that he stabbed everyone in the back to get….”

Lang smiles as his mind wonders off, before quickly snapping himself back.

Flip Dixon: “However we know that everyone wants answers, so Gunner will be back on Showdown #115 to address the fans and his future!”

Katie Smith: “The way you say his future…. that sounds quite ominous?”

Flip Dixon: “I better not say anything more, I will let my Dad answer that on the next Showdown….”

Dixon slowly closes the door on Katie Smith before she can ask any more questions, as the camera cuts back to ringside.

Ringside
Competition

‘Welcome To Toronto’ by K Money hits the sound system, and there are loud boos from the crowd as onto the top of the entrance ramp step Jake Hughes & Scott Cole of the Canadian Connection, accompanied by Alissia Young! Cole and Hughes signal to the crowd with sneers on their faces, before slowly walking down the entrance ramp bopping their heads to the music. Hughes and Cole climb up onto the ring apron on the side of the head camera, and slowly remove their sVo Tag Team Championship belts.

The crowd boo loudly as Hughes & Cole raise their championship belts in the air for everyone to see, as Alissia Young grabs a microphone from the ring announcer. Young waits for the music to fade out and for the crowd to stop booing before addressing the fans packed into the Goodfellas Casino Arena.

Alissia Young: “Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you the sVo Tag Team Champions!”

The boos ring out around the arena again.

Alissia Young: “Now we felt the need to come out and introduce ourselves again, because you will have noticed that from the Vendetta PPV that no Tag Team in the sVo had the ball to step up a challenge the most dominating team in the sVo for these belts!”

The boos get even louder towards the Canadian Connection, as Hughes and Cole hold their belts in the air again.

Alissia Young: “Now that’s understandable, because if anyone did step up and take a shot, they would have ended up in the emergency room right next to Jupiter James!”

Footage from the PPV of Alissia Young standing over James with her hand in the air in victory is shown on the giant screen, prompting more boos from the crowd.

Alissia Young: “Such is the level of fear from the rest of the tag teams in the sVo, that we have had to come out here and send a message to the rest of the locker room! So here tonight, we are throwing down an open challenge to any tag team in the WORLD! If you want a shot at the sVo Tag Team Championships, then we will be out here on Uprising next week waiting!”

Young throws the microphone down on the mat and the Canadian Connection once again pose with the belts, as the scene fades out to the sound of loud boos from the crowd.

Tune Up

The cameras head backstage after the gauntlet thrown down by Alissia Young to the tag teams of the wrestling world, where Absolute Zero is standing by in the interview area next to pretty interviewer Elena Cruz. Cruz pouts into the camera as she gets the ‘live’ signal from the camera man.

Elena Cruz: “Ladies, gentlemen and Hollywood casting directors, it’s time for your fix of Elena Cruz action!”

Cruz pouts into the camera again and puts two fingers up in a peace sign, as Absolute Zero stands next to her looking uncomfortable.

Elena Cruz: “Also here this week is Absolute Zero. Now Mr Zero, I understand you have a match tonight or something you want to talk about?”

Cruz nonchalantly hands the microphone to Absolute Zero, before posing in the background behind him trying to make sure the attention and camera is on her.

Absolute Zero: “Erm yeah thanks Elena…. Great job as always…..”

Zero slowly shakes his head in disbelief.

Absolute Zero: “Now there isn’t anyone on the sVo roster right now that has been in the business as long as me. Some might think that makes me sound like an old man, but I can assure you that my experience is what set’s me apart from the sVo roster! Now some veterans like myself might be upset if they were to be booked against a rookie like I have been tonight, Not Me! I will use this little tune up match to move on to bigger and better things.”

Zero shakes his head empathically as Cruz continues to pose in the background.

Absolute Zero: “Big Aug, tonight might be your debut match, but please don’t be nervous! You might be stepping foot in the ring with someone who has 15 plus years of experience in this business, but please don’t feel bad when you walk to the back after a losing effort! I want you to take in all the atmosphere out there and use this loss to improve. Hell, if you do well enough maybe in fifteen years you can be a seasoned vet breaking in rookies like me!”

Zero looks extremely confident of his chances against the rookie Big Aug in his singles match, which is up next, as he passes the microphone back to Elena Cruz before making his way towards the gorilla position as his music begins to play in the arena.

Elena Cruz: “That’s all for now my loves! Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Onlyfans!”

Cruz blows a kiss to the camera as the scene cuts back to ringside.

Single Match
“Big Aug” August Lazar vs. Absolute Zero

The familiar sound of “Ice, Ice Baby” hits the sound system and the fans cheer as dry ice rises up from the sides of the entrance ramp. After a few seconds, the veteran Absolute Zero steps out of the dry ice and stands at the top of the entrance ramp bobbing his head to the music! The fans cheer Absolute Zero, as he takes a few seconds to acknowledge them before making his way down to the ring and diving in under the bottom rope! Absolute Zero turns and poses for the hard camera with his arms crossed and his head bopping to the music!

“Starts Right Here” by Foreign Air and Kenny Mason plays and out comes the towering form of the man called Big Aug! “Big Aug” August Lazar puts a hand on his forehead and scans the crowd before heading towards the ring slowly. The big man then raises a hand in the air and raises his arm to the cheering crowd. He steps onto the ring apron and eggs the crowd on for a louder response then steps over the ropes to enter the squared circle.

It is the rookie vs the veteran as Absolute Zero stares up at the newcomer, knowing that he will have to use all of his years of experience in order to score the victory over the big rookie who certainly has the strength and size advantage!

The referee calls for the bell to be rung and the action is underway as Absolute Zero springs forward and lands some big forearm smashes to the newcomer. Big Aug swings with a big haymaker in the direction of the veteran, but Absolute Zero uses his speed to duck out of the way before nailing a big kick to the knee of his opponent! Big Aug looks angered with the kick from his opponent, as Absolute Zero bounces off of the ring ropes and lands a diving dropkick to the legs of Big Aug! Big Aug drops down to one knee, and Absolute Zero takes advantage with a DDT on his kneeling opponent in the middle of the ring!

The fans cheer Zero on as he rises up to his feet and poses for the sold out crowd, as Big Aug pulls himself up to his feet behind him. Big Aug looks to get himself back in the match with a big boot, but nothing seems to be going right for the inexperienced newcomer as Absolute Zero ducks under the boot of his opponent, before taking him down to the mat with an arm drag takedown. Absolute Zero waits for Big Aug to get to his feet, before taking him down with an impressive twisting neckbreaker! With Big Aug down in the drop zone, the fans cheer as Absolute Zero makes his way to the top rope and poses for his finishing move!

It looks all over as Absolute Zero dives off of the top rope looking for the ‘Big Freeze’, but at the last minute Big Aug manages to roll out of the way! Absolute Zero grimaces in pain as he gets to his feet holding his back, before Big Aug bounces off of the ring ropes and finally connects with the big boot he was looking for earlier! Absolute Zero looks stunned as he rises up to his feet, whilst Big Aug keeps the momentum going with a big head butt! Zero looks unsteady on his feet, as Big Aug takes advantage by following up with a massive body slam!

The crowd are shocked as the rookie pulls Zero up to his feet, before grabbing him around the throat and drilling him with a chokeslam in the middle of the ring! Everyone in the arena expected the veteran Absolute Zero to make short work of the rookie newcomer, however things couldn’t be further from the truth as Big Aug waits for Zero to get to his feet, before running at him and nailing a ‘Dikembe’, yelling out “Not Today” on impact!

Absolute Zero looks like he has been hit by a freight train as he staggers up, only for Big Aug to grab hold of him and hit the ‘Dunked On’ in the middle of the ring! With Absolute Zero down, Big Aug makes the cover!

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and there is a shocked reaction in the arena as Big Aug rises up to his feet and has his arm raised in the air in victory by the referee! The newcomer celebrates his first big win in the sVo as the fans cheer him on as he stands over the fallen body of Absolute Zero.

Winner via pinfall: Big Aug August Lazar

Backstage
Blood Bond

After the shocking victory for the rookie August Lazar against the veteran Absolute Zero, the cameras head backstage to the locker room of former two-time sVo Champion William Vorheez. For the first time since the passing of Tripp Whipwreck, Vorheez is not alone in the locker room!

There is a mixed reaction from the crowd watching on the giant screen, as the camera pans around to Boris & Igor Black, both sitting with their skull masks on.

William Vorheez: “Well boys, you made one hell of an impact at Vendetta, I just heard that Darwin Jones has joined his partner Hugo on the injured list….”

Boris and Igor turn to look at each other, before nodding. A job well done.

William Vorheez: “Tripp would have been proud boys, let me tell you! Now, first impressions won’t mean anything if you don’t follow it up. I want you to go out there and not just win the match, but show the whole of the sVo just what they are facing when you take on the Starr Brothers tonight!”

Igor & Boris nod to each other before slowly standing up, showing off their full height. With the official debut of the Black Brothers up next, will the Starr Brothers be able to cope with the two monsters in the ring?

Tag Team Match
The Black Brothers vs. The Starr Brothers

‘Man in the Box’ by the Alice In Chains hits and there is a small cheer from the crowd as the team of Darren Starr & Simon Starr walk out onto the top of the entrance ramp! Both Starr brothers signal to both sides of the crowd before quickly making their way down the entrance ramp and diving headfirst into the ring.

“World of Shit” by Nailbomb plays as the lights in the arena go out. Fog and white lights drench the entrance area as Igor & Boris Black make their way out towards the ring. The boos ring out for the giant pair, as they remain Fixated on the ring whilst making their way quickly to the squared circle, ready to fight!

The Starr Brothers both look more than a little concerned about being matched up with the two skull mask wearing giant newcomers as they try and decide who is going to start the match off! The referee is finally able to call for the bell to be rung and the action to get started, as Darren Starr starts things off with Igor Black.

Darren Starr circles around the big man, before grabbing hold of him in a side headlock. Igor quickly shakes Darren Starr off, before taking him down to the mat with a hip toss. Darren Starr quickly gets to his feet, but Igor bounces off of the ring ropes and runs straight through him with a massive shoulder block to send him down! Darren Starr quickly rolls to his corner and makes the tag out to his brother Simon Starr, whilst Igor stands tall in the middle of the ring!

Simon Starr climbs into the ring and throws some big right hands in the direction of Igor Black, but Black absorbs the punches before knocking his opponent down with a massive headbutt! Simon Starr quickly gets back to his feet, but Igor follows up with a scoop slam in the middle of the ring, before bouncing into the ring ropes and dropping the leg across the chest of his opponent. Simon Starr looks dazed in the middle of the ring as he struggles up, whilst Igor makes the tag out to Boris Black. Boris rushes across and lands a massive kick to the midsection of Simon Starr as he is getting him, but throwing him hard into the corner of the ring.

Boris follows up with some massive body shots on Simon Starr in the middle of the ring, before pulling him away from the ring ropes! Simon Starr clutches his ribs in pain, but Boris Black quickly follows up with a fallaway slam! Simon Starr looks in trouble as he crawls across to his corner and makes the tag out to Darren Starr, something that Boris Black doesn’t even try and stop!

Darren Starr climbs quickly into the ring and hits the ropes, before ducking out of the way of an attempted reverse elbow from Boris Black. Darren Starr hits the opposite ropes, before bouncing back and laying a flying forearm smash to Boris Black! The move staggers Boris back a few steps, so Darren Starr tries it again! However this time Boris catches Darren Starr running at him and lands a big boot!

Boris scoops Darren Starr up off of the mat before landing a massive Spike Brainbuster in the middle of the ring! With Starr down and hurting from the brainbuster, Boris doesn’t go for the cover, and instead pulls Simon Starr into the ring the hard way! Boris shows his dominance as he pulls Simon Starr down on the mat next to his brother with a ‘Into the Abyss’, before making the tag out to Igor Black!

The Starr Brothers look in serious trouble as Igor scoops Simon Starr up off of the mat before hitting him with a massive clothesline from hell! The move sends Simon Starr out of the ring and under the bottom rope, allowing Igor to turn his attention to the legal man! Darren Starr is slowly trying to get to his feet, but Igor has other ideas as he hits a ‘Face of Fear’ on Darren Starr in the middle of the ring, before finally making the cover!

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and it is a dominating first match in the sVo for the proteges of William Vorheez, as the Black Brothers pick up the victory! Even the referee looks a little intimidated as he lifts the arms of Igor and Boris in the air in victory, and the skull mask wearing Black Brothers celebrate their first sVo win!

Winners via pinfall: The Black Brothers

Backstage
Down, Not Out

The cameras head backstage to the interview area where Katie Smith is waiting once again, this time with Jupiter James! Smith has a microphone in hand as always, whilst Jupiter James is dressed in street clothes, clearly not involved in action tonight.

Katie Smith: “Jupiter. I think it’s fair to say it’s been a difficult time for you recently. First you lost narrowly to Alissia Young in singles action, before coming up short against the legendary Sara Pettis at the Immortals PPV. Then last time out at Vendetta, you lost your submission match against Alissia Young…..”

Before Smith can continue with her question, Jupiter James puts a hand up to stop her in midsentance.

Jupiter James: “Wait a second Katie, what kind of match did you say it was at Vendetta?”

Smith looks a little confused by the question as she rewinds in her mind what she said.

Katie Smith: “It was a submission match.”

Jupiter James: “That’s right, and did you see me submit?”

Katie Smith: “Well no, you passed out from the hold that Young had applied….”

Jupiter James: “No tell it how it is Katie… It was a chokehold, an illegal chokehold! It was a submission match, and I did not submit…..”

Jupiter James leaves that statement hanging in the air as she looks angrily into the camera for a few seconds, before storming off. Katie Smith awkwardly looks into the camera at the uncharacteristic actions of Jupiter James, before the feed is cut.

Single Match
Scott Washington vs. El Froggo

The fans are on their feet as ‘California Vacation’ by The Game hits the sound system and the lights in the arena dim. Golden sparks rain down from the top of the giant screen onto the entrance ramp as Scott Washington step through them and holds his arms in the air. After a few seconds, the boos get even louder as next to Washington steps his manager, Amy Page. The huge ‘O-Town Outlaw’ taunts to the crowd who boo loudly as he walks down the entrance ramp with his eyes focused on the ring. Scott Washington jumps up onto the ring apron before climbing into the ring and warming up in the corner of the ring for his upcoming battle.

DJ Snake – Taki Taki hits the sound system and the fans watch on as the energetic El Froggo makes his way out from behind the curtain! El Froggo dances around the top of the entrance ramp, getting the crowd pumped up! El Froggo quickly makes his way down the entrance ramp, moving from side to side to slap the hands of as many fans as possible! El Froggo leaps up onto the ring apron, before vaulting himself into the ring and rushing across to bounce off the nearest ropes! El Froggo leaps up to the second rope of the nearest turnbuckle before turning and posing for the crowd!

With Amy Page watching on from ringside, the referee calls for the bell to be rung and the match between El Froggo and Washington is underway! Washington eyeballs his opponent as he slowly moves towards the middle of the ring, whilst the smaller but quicker El Froggo dances around in front of him! Washington reaches forward to try and grab hold of the Mexican, but El Froggo ducks and weaves away, before spinning and landing some stiff kicks to the legs of his opponent.

The kicks seem to have little effect on Washington, but as he tries to grab hold of El Froggo again, the masked superstar rolls out of the grasp of his opponent before landing a standing dropkick! Washington staggers back from the force of the dropkick but stays on his feet, whilst the crowd roar with approval for El Froggo. El Froggo tries to follow up with an arm drag takedown on Washington, but the O-Town Outlaw blocks the move from the Mexican, before taking him down to the mat with a judo throw!

With El Froggo on the mat, Washington leaps onto him and begins the ground and pound until El Froggo is able to roll away. El Froggo tries to catch his bearings from the brutal punches from Washington, before leaping into the ropes and looking for a springboard dropkick. However Washington has the move scouted and counters by swiping El Froggo’s feet away before they make contact!

El Froggo staggers up to his feet, but walks straight into a waist lock from Scott Washington, who then takes El Froggo down hard with a big German suplex! El Froggo stumbles up to his feet holding the back of his head, but Washington grabs him in a waist lock and hits a second German suplex in a row!

Washington looks in firm control of the match despite the loud boos from the crowd, as he scoops El Froggo up off of the mat and hits him with a shoulder breaker in the middle of the ring. Washington looks to be almost playing with his opponent as he follows up with a belly to back suplex, before hitting a big full nelson slam in the middle of the ring!

Amy Page calls for more on the outside of the ring, and Washington obliges as he pulls El Froggo up off of the mat before bouncing off of the ring ropes and hitting a high knee to the face. The boos seem to get louder and louder with how pleased Amy Page is whilst watching her client, whilst the referee checks on El Froggo to see if he can continue! Finally Amy Page seems to have seen enough on the outside of the ring, as she calls for the end of the match! Washington obliges as he grabs hold of El Froggo and locks in the ‘Conviction’! The referee quickly drops to see if El Froggo wants to quit, but he seems to be out cold which causes the referee to quickly call for the bell!

The fans boo loudly as Washington keeps the submission hold locked on despite the match being over, until Amy Page climbs into the ring and finally calls his client off! Page pushes the referee away and orders him out of the ring, before lifting the arm of Scott Washington in the air in victory herself! With Amy Page by her side and Scott Washington laser focused, can anyone stand in the way of the ‘O-Town Outlaw’?

Winner via TKO: Scott Washington

Cody Williams Returns to the Ring!
The sVo Presents Showdown #115
Williams vs. McRae
14th November 2021
Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas

Las Vegas Championship #1 Contenders Match
Kenneth D Williams vs. Jacob Izaz

The atmosphere inside the Goodfellas Casino Arena is electric as the sold out crowd awaits the beginning of the main event, which will see two of the most exciting new talents on the sVo roster do battle with the chance to challenge for the sVo Las Vegas Championship up for grabs!

3, 2, 1, The lights in the arena begin to dim as the countdown ends and the Tron springs into life with a shot of “The Human Highlight Reel” Kenneth Williams giving the camera a few playful winks. The fans jump straight to their feet in cheer as “Family Ties” by Baby Keen & Kendrick Lamar begins to play through the sound system. The familiar adlibs of Keem accompanying the vinyl horn flutters of the classic instrumental echo throughout the arena as Kenneth Williams steps out onto the ramp.

Fire and pyro began shooting out of the stage as Kenny stands at the ramp with a playful grin as he stands at a military rest with his head cocked to the side before taking off in a full sprint to the ring, making sure to slap hands of the fans on his way. He hops onto the outside of the turnbuckle before looking out into the crowd and delivering a vicious dab with a look of disgust on his face. He hops into the ring and prepares in his corner.

‘Not for Radio’ by Nas hits the sound system and the fans cheer as onto the top of the entrance ramp swaggers the confident looking Jacob Izaz. Izaz holds his arms in the air and stands motionless for a few seconds as flash bulbs go off around the arena, before he slowly continues his swagger down the entrance ramp towards the ring. Izaz hops up onto the ring apron and again throws his arms up in the air to poses for the crowd, before climbing through the ropes and into the squared circle.

With both men in the ring, the referee calls for the bell to be rung and the action is quickly underway!

Williams and Izaz circle around each other, before locking up in the middle of the ring. Both men attempt to push the other backwards for a few seconds, before Williams breaks his hold of his opponent and lands a big right hand. Izaz fires back with a right hand of his own, and the fans cheer both men on as they trade big shots in the middle of the ring! Izaz begins to get the upper hand of the fist fight, until Williams ducks under the fist of his opponent and spins around to catch him with a jumping calf kick to send him down. Izaz quickly pops back up to his feet and Williams looks to follow up with a back elbow strike, but Izaz ducks under his opponents arm and bounces into the ring ropes, before hitting a Lui Thesz press with big right hands!

Williams forces Izaz off from the mounted position and rolls back up to his feet, but Izaz is there waiting with a snap T-Bone suplex to the undefeated star. The fans cheer Izaz on as he allows Williams to get back to a standing position, before taking him back down to the mat with a front backbreaker. Izaz stomps around the ring pumping the crowd up as his opponent recovers, before running at Kenny D Williams and hitting a monkey flip! With Williams down on the mat and hurting, Izaz wastes no time in making the cover.

One,

Two,

No!

Kenneth D Williams gets a shoulder up off of the mat before the three count to show just how much he wants to earn himself a shot at the coveted Las Vegas Championship!

Izaz pulls Williams up to a standing position and lands some big right hands, but Williams fights back with some rights of his own to try and get himself back into the match! Williams grams Izaz by the arm and sends him into the ring ropes, but Izaz returns with an impressive leaping knee strike to take his opponent down!

The fans cheer for Jacob Izaz as he poses in the middle of the ring, whilst Williams rolls under the bottom rope to try and put some distance between himself and his opponent. However Jacob Izaz has other ideas as he hits the ropes on the opposite side of the ring, before running and diving through the ropes nearest to Williams with a suicide dive! However Williams sees the move coming, and side steps his opponent causing him to crash into the security barrier!

Izaz looks in pain as he tries to drag himself up on the outside of the ring, but Williams gets on the offensive as he grabs the ‘Philly Flash’ and throws him shoulder first into the steel ring post! Izaz staggers back holding his shoulder, and Williams takes the chance to roll him into the ring under the bottom rope! With Izaz down on the mat in the ring, Williams climbs first onto the ring apron, and then to the top rope of the nearest turnbuckle! The fans pop as Williams leaps off of the top rope and aims the ‘Smoker’s Prayer’ at his opponent! Williams hits the move perfectly, before rolling back over his opponent to make the cover!

One,

Two,

No!

Everyone thought it was all over right there, but Williams pays for not hooking the leg as Izaz kicks out! Williams punishes his opponent with some stiff forearm shots to the face, before finally allowing him up to a standing position. Izaz looks for a desperate clothesline, but Williams ducks the arm of his opponent, before catching him with a side Russian leg sweep to take him down to the mat! With Izaz down, Williams looks to end things as he bounces into the ring ropes and hits the ‘HiiPower’!

The fans pop for the big move from the undefeated newcomer, however Williams looks like he wants to put the exclamation point on the win as he calls for his finishing move rather than attempting the cover!

Izaz slowly staggers up to his feet and Williams loos for a ‘Lights Out!’. However Izaz counters out of no where with a massive head butt that staggers Williams! Now the crowd are on their feet for Izaz as he stumbles back into the corner of the ring, and calls for his finisher! Williams looks unsighted by the head butt as he stumbles around in the centre of the ring, whilst Izaz springs forward and aims his ‘the Message’ superkick at his opponent! However Williams ducks out of the way at the very last second, and Izaz superkicks the referee!

The crowd ooh and aah for the referee bump, but as Izaz staggers back realising what he has done, Williams takes advantage with the ‘Lights Out!’ Izaz is down for the count, but as Williams makes the cover he realises that there is no referee to make the count!

The crowd boo in frustration as all eyes turn towards the entrance ramp for an official to race down to count the three, however instead of an official appearing, it is Money Malone who appears at the top of the entrance ramp with his championship in hand!

The crowd boo loudly as the Blood Money member runs down the entrance ramp with the title and slides into the ring! Williams springs to his feet, but Money Malone blasts him in the face with the Championship belt! The fans boo loudly as Malone stands over Williams with the title belt, only for Izaz to get to his feet! Izaz aims ‘the Message’ at Malone, but Malone ducks under the leg of his opponent before spinning and smashing the belt into Izaz’s face as well!

The crowd continue to boo loudly towards the Blood Money member as he stands in the middle of the ring over both potential #1 contenders! The referee slowly comes around and sees the scene, before calling for the bell and throwing the match out!

The boos continue to ring out around the Goodfellas Casino Arena as the scene fades out, with Money Malone standing tall in the middle of the ring holding the sVo Las Vegas Championship in the air!

The sVo Presents Uprising #003
7th November 2021
Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas

Ringside
Validation

The drum solo and electric guitar rifts of “Robot Rock” by Daft Punk hits the sound system and the crowd in the Goodfellas Casino Arena jump out of their seats. Purple, Pink, and gold lights wander the arena as smoke fills the entrance way. “The Hollywood Rockstar” Cody Williams steps out onto the top of the ramp to the roar of the crowd. He pauses for a few seconds, lowering his sunglasses down the bridge of his nose as he peers out into the masses. He unbuttons his suit jacket to reveal the sVo Championship causing the jam packed arena to erupt.

Ring Announcer: “Ladies and gentlemen, help in welcoming back… The… NEWWWWWW… sVo Champion. “The Hollywood Rockstar”… CODY WILLIAMS!!!”

Cody climbs up the ring steps, wipes his Louboutin Oxfords on the mat and then slowly enters the ring. He climbs the near turnbuckle and raises his arms up and down multiple times to get the fans going. He hits the far corner facing hard camera and unbuckles his championship, raising it high into the air. He begins to scan the crowd, nodding his head to the chants of the crowd.

***CODY***

***CODY***

***CODY***

He climbs down and meets the ring announcer in the middle of the ring, exchanges a few words and a fist bump, and then takes the microphone.

Cody Williams: “I just want to say…”

He is interrupted by the raucous crowd who continue to shower him with adulation.

***CODY WILLIAMS!***

(clap, clap, clap clap clap)

***CODY WILLIAMS!***

(clap, clap, clap clap clap)

Cody Williams: “I just want to say, that it feels damn good to be back here, in front of all of you, in the sVo, back where I belong. Back… Home.”

***SVO!!!***

***SVO!!!***

***SVO!!!***

Cody Williams: “Eight years. It’s been a long eight years away from the sVo, from all of you. But needless to say, at the end of the day it was all worth it because I did what I worked my entire career for, what I set out to do from the moment I stepped into the Goodfellas Casino Arena and the sVo in 2008. And that’s become the NEW… sVo… Champion!”

The crowd explodes as Cody raises the championship belt into the air, turning his head to stare and admire at it.

***WELCOME BACK!***

***WELCOME BACK!***

***WELCOME BACK!***

Cody Williams: “Thank you… Thank you… I could stand here all day and continue to let you shower me with flowers. Really, I can. Haha. But that’s not why I am here. I am here because I owe all of you an explanation about what happened at Vendetta.”

He pauses for a moment to remove his sunglasses and hang them onhis breast pocket.

Cody Williams: “Eight years ago, I wasn’t in the right frame of mind. I wasn’t doing well. I put my heart, my soul into the sVo in order to give you all your money’s worth and to steal the show each and every night. But I became so obsessed with the sVo Championship and coming so close yet so far each and every time, that my body and my mental health couldn’t take it anymore.”

He hangs his head low.

Cody Williams: “So I left to work on myself and to re-direct my energy and focus on being the best version of Cody Williams. I traveled all across the country, I went to Germany, Mexico, the UK, back to Japan. I went back to doing what I do best and that was being the best in the ring, and on the mic, and outworking everyone.”

He lifts his head and stares out into the crowd.

Cody Williams: “And then I came to a point in my career where I did everything that I could. But the one thing that was left for me to do was to validate my career, prove that I was every bit as good as I said I was. I have won the International championship, TapOut and Tag Team Championships, I won Organized Chaos. The only thing left for me to do was to become a World Champion…”

The crowd gives him a polite round of applause.

Cody Williams: “And that’s what brought me back to the sVo. Unbeknownst to all of you, and the dirt sheet writers, and all of the boys in the back… Prior to the sVo closing down in 2013, I signed a contract extension. And within it, was the added clause that I would be afforded an sVo Championship match. And unfortunately for Johnny All Star, Jon Page honored that extension and clause, and at Vendetta I cashed in my opportunity and boy does it feel good to call myself, your NEW… sVo Champion!”

***YOU DESERVE IT!***

(clap, clap, clap clap clap)

***YOU DESERVE IT!***

(clap, clap, clap clap clap)

Cody Williams: “And now, I join an elite group of four individuals who can call themselves Triple Crown Champion, like my bitter rival Nathan Paradine. And then there’s an even smaller group of people who have done it all and showed why they are the best of the best, hall of fame worthy wrestlers, people like Night and Roscoe Shame. And now, you can add Cody Williams to the list because I am now a Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion! This…”

He turns his attention to the sVo Championship and raises it into the air.

Cody Williams: “This is validation. This validates that I am every bit as good as I say I am. That I am the very best in this ring, and on the mic. This proves that every drop of blood, every drop of sweat, every tear shed, giving every ounce of energy and every bit of me for all of you and this business… was worth it. This, validates everything that I have ever done, all the sleepless nights, all the days away from home, all of the injuries, the setbacks, the victories, the defeats and heartbreaks. THIS. This is worth every second and I want to thank all of YOU for all of your support and never giving up on me.”

The crowd erupts.

Cody Williams: “From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for believing in me and for showing me at Vendetta that you have been waiting as long as I have and that it was worth the wait to hear the ref count three, have my hand raised and be handed the sVo Championship that I have chased and fought hard for so long to achieve. And now, as long as I have this in my hands I will bring back prestige and honor to it and be the champion you all deserve. Thank you sVo… and thank you to all of you!!!

***THANK YOU CODY***

(Clap, clap, clap clap clap)

***THANK YOU CODY***

(Clap, clap, clap clap clap)

Cody Williams: “From this moment moving forward, it’s the Cody Williams era. And if you think you’ve seen the best of me you ain’t seen nothing yet!”

Cody drops the microphone onto the ground and clutches the championship belt by the end strap. He begins climbing the turnbuckle and raises his arm and championship high into the air to the elation of the crowd. He hits the other three turnbuckles to send the crowd home happy. As he poses on the turnbuckle the sVo copyright logo appears on the bottom of the screen. Cody hops down onto the canvas and turns around —

ALL STAR STUNNER!!!!!!

Johnny All Star, the former champion, just laid out Cody Williams with the All Star Stunner. Cody lays on the mat motionless as All Star picks the sVo Championship up and holds it in his grasps, staring a hole down at his fallen nemesis. He tosses the championship down onto Cody and places his foot on his chest, raising his arm into the air as the show slowly fades to black.
