sVo Showdown Episode #066
9th January 2011
Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas Nevada

“Natural High” by The Union Underground hits the sound system as the sVo Showdown entrance video hits the screens of TV’s all over the world! The video featuring the likes of sVo Champion Jay Wildman, Roscoe Shame, Nightmare, Bobby Dean and Samuel Amos shows some of the best action to have ever taken place on the flagship show of the Sanctioned Violence Organization.

As the video comes to an end, the camera cuts to the arena and pans around the sold out crowd as pyro’s shoot up from the entrance stage whilst the theme music continues to blast out over the sound system. The camera picks out several signs in the crowd as the fireworks continue to explode around the ringside area.

The camera then pans across to the entrance stage, where a video recap of last weeks action is shown on the giant Violence-Tron before tonight’s action gets under-way.

LAST WEEK ON ONE SHOT 2011Samuel Amos overcame twenty nine other competitors to win the One Shot Match and earn himself a shot at the sVo Worls Heavyweight Championship belt…..

Both men lay motionless on the mat wondering just what it is going to take to eliminate the other man. Bobby Dean slowly rises up to his feet, and the crowd begin to boo as he looks down at Samuel Amos. Dean slowly reaches down and pulls Amos up by his hair, before dragging him towards the ring ropes. Amos looks like he might be out on his feet, as Bobby Dean tosses him over the top rope.

However before Amos’ feet can hit the floor, he manages to grab hold of the top rope! Bobby Dean turns around with his hands in the air thinking that he has won the match! The crowd boo loudly as BBD continues to celebrate, as Amos rolls back into the ring under the bottom rope.

Did Amos’ feet touch the floor?

The officials at ringside look like they are going to let the match continue as Samuel Amos grabs Bobby Dean from behind, and throws him over the top rope and to the floor below!

The fans cheer as Samuel Amos sinks to his knees, whilst Bobby Dean looks up at the ring wondering what the hell is going on. “Your Betrayal” by Bullet for my Valentine blasts over the sound system as Samuel Amos celebrates the victory in the middle of the ring. Bobby Dean has to be restrained from getting back into the ring by the officials at ringside as Samuel Amos continues to celebrate his victory. An enraged Bobby Dean slowly makes his way back up the entrance ramp shaking his head in disbelief as Samuel Amos climbs the nearest turnbuckle and celebrates his win, and earning himself the first sVo World Heavyweight Championship match of 2011 against the new Champion Jay Wildman.RINGSIDE

Admitting Guilt“End of Line” plays over the PA system as Jay Wildman walks out from the entry way, making his way towards the ring. He is dressed in a black suit with a dark green tie, his hair pulled back into a tight ponytail. He makes his way around the ring to the steps, climbing up them and into the ring. He stands in the ring as the crowd cheers for him, allowing a moment for it all to sink in. He motions for his music to cut as he brings the mic in his hand up to his mouth and begins to speak.

Wildman: What a strange, wild ride. I left this place almost three years ago after having a fight with the people in the back and now, look at me. I am the sVo World Heavyweight champion and on top of the ladder at the moment. You know what? The view looks great!

The crowd cheers, forcing Jay to motion for them to calm down.

Wildman: I know you all have been going through a lot with the previous champion trying to pull the wool over your eyes, what with the finger poke of doom and forming a perfect union of jackasses. I am sorry you all have to put up with this little war between Page and Anderson, I am sorry we have to go through all of this together. I assure you, I will do my best to keep you all entertained and give this title the respect it deserves.

The fans chant “Show us Grimnir” followed by clapping, which makes Wildman smile. He shakes his head in disbelief before addressing the crowd, giving them the answer they wanted for three weeks.

Wildman: All right, I admit it. I am Grimnir, or I was at one point and time. I used the mask to break back into the business, giving me a whole different perspective on the world. I even learned how to play nice with others by using my foot! However, the night I won this title I actually had no idea who was behind the mask nor did I ask for anyone to come out to assist me. Trust me; this is as much of a mystery to me as it is to you. I have one thing to say to whoever it was behind the mask. I should sue the hell out of you for copyright infringement. You leave my mask out of your plans, you hear me?

Jay looks around the arena before setting his eyes back on the camera, this time his look very serious.

Wildman: Amos, I know you managed to win One Shot. I know you gave me a hell of a match when we met last but I have two things you don’t. The most important is the Word title, the second is the cunning of a wily veteran. You might be a beast, you might have been Tap Out champion and you even survived after coming out first at One Shot but you won’t get this belt off of me without a fight. Besides, we all know you did something I never did. You tapped out to Asesino. I never tapped out. Hell, I never even got pinned over the last three months! You should feel proud for such an accomplishment, Amos. I hope you don’t hurt yourself before our match; I would hate to think someone else would get to you before I do.

Jay drops the mic and rolls out of the ring, adjusting his tie as he walks back towards the entrance as the crowd cheers.BACKSTAGE

Compliments and ConversationsThe scene opens up to the backstage area where we see “The Reflection of Perfection” Cody Williams walking down the hallway. He is wearing a grey Armani suit, his hair tied back, sunglasses affixed to the bridge of his nose, and his newly acquired TapOut championship over his shoulder. He waves to several backstage assistants as he continues to make his trek down the long hallway leading to the locker room area. Cody stops and flashes a grin, the shot pans outwards to the left to reveal the Las Vegas champion Nathan Paradine standing there wearing his trademark sunglasses, ParaPlex t-shirt and the Las Vegas championship draped over his shoulder.

Cody Williams: Nathan.

Paradine looks Cody up and down and nods his head.

Nathan Paradine: Cody.

Cody Williams: Nice t-shirt.

Nathan Paradine: Thanks, nice suit.

Cody extends his arm outwards towards Nathan Paradine and gently touches the Las Vegas championship, grazing it with his finger tips. Nathan turns his head towards the centerplate, staring at Cody’s hand prompting Cody to slowly retreat.

Cody Williams: Nice belt.

Paradine tilts his head sideways at the comment of Cody and turns his attention to the belt in Cody’s possession and extends his arm towards it, extending his index finger and pushes up against the belt, tapping it several times.

Nathan Paradine: Same to you.

Cody Williams: I told you, it was nothing personal. It was strictly business. Speaking of business, have you thought about it?

Nathan Paradine: I have, I thought about it a lot actually.

Williams nods his head and smirks at Paradine, fixing the championship on his shoulder.

Cody Williams: And?

Paradine presses his sunglasses down onto the bridge of his nose and removes the Las Vegas championship from his shoulder and folds it up, clutching it in his right arm and presses it against the side of his body.

Nathan Paradine: There still needs to be some discussion to further work out the kinks, but I think its something that can be done.

Cody Williams: You won’t regret it!

“The Reflection of Perfection” extends his hand out towards Nathan Paradine and offers a handshake. Paradine looks down at the peace offering for several seconds before returning the gesture. The two exchange grins and break the handshake. Cody steps to the side and extends his hand out to his right and gestures for Paradine to go first. Paradine obliges and passes Cody who follows him not too close behind.BACKSTAGE

Colt Cooper addresses the sVoCameras are flashing and reporters are gathered up in the Goodfellas conference room for an address by the “Diamond In The Ruff” Colt Cooper. Only thing is he hasn’t showed up yet. Their hasn’t been a mention of him being at the arena. The reporters have become anxious. This address is something the whole world needs to hear.

Lian: “I just got word that Colt is in the building.”

The reporters fight for positions closer to the podium until they become one big stirring pot waiting for Colt’s arrival. With the door being opened taps are being heard. Everyone expects it to be Colt, and they are right. In steps “Mister Star Studded.” sporting a black t-shirt, but in white bold letters engraved on it was The Company. A special shirt in the mind of Coops. It’s his first Company t-shirt. He wore no jeans. His trunks were already on because his match would be coming up shortly. Glasses were on his face to hide his marijuana infested eyes. He steps to the podium with a bottled water in hand. He smirks and begins to address the sVo.

Colt: “I’m glad you all could join me on this evening. But most importantly gathering up to get this address out further than the sVo. Everyone needs to know what’s going to happen, and with you guys it can. So pat yourselves on the back for that.”

All the reporters look at each other with puzzled looks.

Colt: “Go ahead.”

Their faces are still puzzled, but the shrug in their shoulders implicated that they were going to do it. They pat themselves on the back, and Colt burst out laughing.

Colt: “You guys are idiots. Just like everyone else in this god damn world. On the exception of a few, but let’s get down to why we’re really here. We’re here to see I address the sVo. That’s what I’m going to do. See, I was very pissed at myself that I didn’t win the One Shot royal, and it makes me even pissed that Samuel Amos was the victor. If I could make my own schedule, that bitch would be my very next opponent. Him or either Jay Wildman.

He pauses and takes a swallow from the bottle water and wipes the liquid from his mouth with his arm.

Colt: “Another thing I’m upset with is that Ethan Rider outlast me in the Royal. I basically brung the guy into the SvO, and molded him into the best competitor he can be. He may have outsmarted me, but in due time I’ll out wit him.”

Colt: “Now let’s get to the point. The point of this whole address is that I’m putting the sVo on notice. Giving you all the memo that this year is not anyone’s year except for mines. I don’t care who comes back. What new faces make a splash. I’m aiming for total dominance, and that’s what I’m going to do. I’m the upper tier star in the organization, and it doesn’t take brains to know that. 2011 is CC11 and nobody is going to stop me and The Company. Now, you may ask questions.”

Fiona: “What about your match tonight with Cody Williams?”

Colt smirks and takes off his glasses looking dead at the reporter.

Colt: “I know he’s happy to be off of the injured reserve list, but it has happened at the wrong time. Also, I’ve heard the boring statement he said just to back up his short stint with my International Title. If the competition was so steep, then where are those guys now? I don’t know, but take a look at his record. Their has to be competition now, and competition that he can’t beat. It’s not getting any lighter for him because tonight he faces the man that’s about to go on a murking spree.

Kelly: “What are you planning on for Destiny?

Colt: “Well DJ has purchased a shot at my International title, and it only means one thing for me. A tough title defense, but one that I will defend by regaining my title. As shown last night. I mean business when it comes to this title, and The Company. Anybody trying to take those from me will have to be dealt with. Now excuse me. I have a match to attend to.

Colt places his glasses back on his face and exits out of the conference room.BACKSTAGE

Still a Person of InterestThe black Mercedes pulls into the parking lot behind the Goodfellas Arena. Roscoe Shame steps out, looking as though he hasn’t slept in a couple of days. The haggard man pulls his gym bag out of the car and makes his way towards the back entrance. As soon as he reaches the door two men he knows very well approach him from behind.

“Mr. Shame how are you doing this fine evening?” asks one of the men.

Roscoe turns around and is face to face with both Detective Bart and Detective Perry from the Las Vegas Police Department.

“What do I owe the pleasure of your presence?” Shame shoots back.

“We were in the neighborhood and wanted to let you know that we are tracking down some leads on your father’s whereabouts” answers Detective Perry.

“Well you efforts are appreciated.”

Roscoe nods at the men and walks past them. He opens the door but Detective Bart’s words stop him in his tracks.

“Let it be known that you are still a person of interest Roscoe.”

The words shoot a shiver down Shame’s spine. He wanted to turn around and choke the man, but he thought the better of it and walks through the door and into the arena. As the two detectives get in their car a man with a hooded sweatshirt appears from around the corner of the building after hearing the conversation.
Reaper vs. Nathan ParadineThe lights slowly dim as the crowd starts to get anxious. The electric chords of “Follow The Reaper” by Children of Bodom blares over the pa system as the man known simply as Reaper steps out onto the stage. Reaper stands center stage as a bright white spotlight shines on him. He raises his arms in the air taunting at the crowd. Reaper leans his head back and gives a primal roar towards the crowd as he snaps his head back. The cameras getting a close look at the intensity in his eyes as he starts to march his way down the ramp way. Reaper makes his way to the apron where he slides under the bottom rope into the ring. He uses the second rope to lift himself back up to his feet, before backing away into the corner to await the start of the match.

“Sorry, You’re Not A Winner” by Enter Shikari blasts around the arena as Nathan Paradine appears at the top of the ramp, his arms crossed over his chest and his head bowed as the lights reflect off the Las Vegas Championship belt around his waist. He glances up and points out towards the crowd, basking in their cheers. He marches down to the ring and slides in underneath the bottom rope, climbing to his feet and raising an arm up into the air as the music dies away.

The bell rings! The fans cheer as both competitors begin to circle each other, arms raised. They both lock up after a few moments and struggle for dominance, Reaper pushing Paradine backwards into the corner. Paradine attempts to cover up as Reaper delivers several strong strikes to his ribs, slacking against the turnbuckle and sinking down to the ground. Reaper grabs the top rope and mud stomps the “Australian Submission Machine”, the entire crowd eliciting a groan as Paradine slumps forward in pain.

Reaper pulls Paradine to his feet and moves towards the middle of the ring before applying a headlock and dropping down. Paradine struggles against the hold, reaching desperately for the ropes. As his face reddens the referee asks if he would like to tap out however he shakes his head and grabs Reaper’s arm, trying and failing to pull it away. He then manages to get up on to one knee, creating enough of an opening to drive his elbow back into Reaper’s torso.

Reaper releases the hold and backs away clutching his stomach as Paradine rises to his feet, sucking in huge lungfuls of air before turning to face Reaper. He attempts to strike out but Reaper swats his arm away with ease. Paradine manages to catch him on the backswing though knocking Reaper off balance before running to the ropes, rebounding and catching Reaper with a running bulldog.

Paradine elbows Reaper in the head then applies a crossface chickenwing, screaming at Reaper to tap out. Reaper roars and manages to0 free his trapped arm, throwing it back and connecting with Paradine. Paradine releases the submission hold and rolls backwards and Reaper stands up, rolling his shoulders.

Both men lock up once again, with Reaper ducking underneath a clothesline attempt and executing a go-behind, wrapping his arms around Paradine’s waist and slamming him flat onto the mat. Reaper stomps down on Paradine before grabbing his arm and applying an armlock, bending his arm backwards as far as it will allow and then some, eliciting a shriek of pain from Paradine. Before Reaper can do any serious damage he manages to get his leg up onto the rope and the referee orders Reaper to release the hold.

Reaper reluctantly obliges, standing up and backing up into the corner. Reaper watches as Paradine staggers to his feet clutching his arm… as he turns around… Reaper charges forwards and looks to hit the superkick to the throat he calls the Kick of Death, however Paradine ducks underneath his outstretched leg and turns around, taking advantage of Reaper’s moment of disbelief to hook the leg and hit his own ParaPlex finisher! Paradine hooks the leg!

Reaper kicks out of the pin attempt with force, sending Paradine rolling away. Both men remain on the mat for a moment before climbing to the feet and trading a series of punches, Paradine eventually falling back into the ropes. Reaper charges forward and attempts to clothesline him over the top rope however Paradine drops, pulling the ropes with him. Both men tumbles to ringside and immediately begin brawling, Reaper forcing Paradine onto the steel barricade and relentless slamming his fist into his head.

Paradine pushes Reaper away and tackles him into the steel stairs as the referee screams “ten”, calling for the bell and declaring the match a no-contest. Reaper kicks Paradine away and stands up, both men finally realizing that the match is over. Paradine places his hands on his hips and shakes his head in disbelief while Reaper simply kicks the stairs and marches backstage in anger.

An Offer You Can’t RefuseNathan Paradine is shown sitting in his locker room after his match against Reaper, holding an icepack to his head and looking slightly worse for wear. There is a loud knock on the door and Paradine glances up.

Nathan Paradine: “It’s open.”

The door can be heard opening and closing and Cody Williams walks into view, the TapOut Championship slung over his shoulder. Cody slides his designer sunglasses down to the tip of his nose and raises his eyebrow.

Cody Williams: “You look like hell.”

Nathan Paradine: “I kinda realized that, but thanks for the heads up anyway.”

Cody chuckles and pushes his glasses back up, before making sure the title belt is sitting comfortably on his shoulder. He sits down next to Paradine and claps him on the shoulder loudly.

Cody Williams: “So, even though you’ve been busy getting your ass kicked from ringpost to ringpost-“

Nathan Paradine: “Watch it, sunshine.”

Cody Williams: “- have you made a decision yet?”

Nathan Paradine: “Well… yes. I have thought about it, and I’ve made a decision.”

Cody Williams: “Which is?”

Paradine pauses a moment, obviously considering his decision very carefully.

Nathan Paradine: “Yes. My decision is yes.”

Cody shakes Paradine’s hand, obviously please with his choice.

Cody Williams: “Good man! I knew you’d come through in the end, you’re definitely not going to regret this!”

The scene cuts back to the ring as Cody and Paradine lean forward, talking in quiet voices… could this have something to do with their meeting earlier in the evening?
Ethan Rider vs. DVDThe lights dim out quickly and suddenly, and the cacophany of chatter from the audience falls to silence. The opening bars of ‘Forsaken’ by Skillet hits out over the PA System and a single jet of Golden pyro erupts from the stage, the light from it illuminating a lone, solitary, dark figure. Ethan Rider is dressed in a long trench coat and his usual ring trunks, black with a tint of metallic silver. ‘Rider’ is written in gold lettering on the cuffs of the coat and the right leg of the trunks. Ethan gives a small smirk and straightens up, the lights slightly returning so he is visible. He walks to the ring, only slightly acknowledging the audience with the occasional nod. When he reaches the ringside area, he stands still, staring at the ring as two officials come forward and carefully remove the coat, producing a series of wolf-whistles from the females as he exposes his well defined, ‘Sexy’ abdomen and pectoral. He bounces on the spot a bit, warming up for the match, before sliding into the ring, just after a single flash of golden pyro shoots just millimetres over his shoulder. Bouncing off the ropes and raising two fingers up in front of him, giving another small smirk as the lights return.

‘Headstrong’ by Trapt hits the sound system, and boos ring out around the arena as the Xtreme Fusion logo hits the giant screen. After a few seconds, the entrance ramp fills with smoke until DVD steps through it and poses for the crowd. The crowd boo the member of Xtreme Fusion as he holds the pose for a few more seconds, before sprinting down the entrance ramp and sliding into the ring. DVD poses on the nearest turnbuckle as the music begins to fade out.

The bell rings and this match is officially underway as Rider and DVD both stare across the ring at each other. The two competitors slowly begin to make their way towards each other, and Rider gets things started with some right hands in the direction of his opponent. DVD manages to block the right hand, and take down Ethan Rider with a firemans carry takedown. With Rider on the mat DVD lays into him with some big right hands. Rider quickly rolls back to his feet, but as he does DVD knocks him down with a short arm clothesline. The fans boo DVD as he stands above Rider as he tries to get to his feet, and lays into him with some big stomps and kicks. Rider finally reaches a standing position, but is quickly thrown into the ropes by DVD. Rider bounces back into the middle of the ring, but DVD is quick to take him down to the mat with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.

DVD rises up to his feet with a smirk on his face and taunts Ethan Rider as he slowly begins to pull himself up, holding his back in pain. DVD grabs him by the arm and tries to whip him into the corner of the ring, however Rider is able to reverse the move and send DVD into the corner! DVD hits the corner hard, but as he bounces out Rider bounces into the ring ropes and nails a spinning heel kick to the back of DVD’s head! DVD pulls himself up off of the mat, but he is quickly grabbed by Ethan Rider, and the rising star takes DVD down to the mat with a drop toe hold. As DVD tries to pull himself up, Rider hits him with a ‘Silent Nightmare’ to the back of the head! With DVD down and maybe out, Rider makes the cover on his opponent!

DVD manages to get a shoulder up off of the mat before the three can be counted, just when it looked like Rider had the match won! DVD slowly begins to pick himself up, but Rider is straight back on him with some right hands. DVD looks like he is reeling in the middle of the ring, but as Rider bounces into the ropes and runs at DVD looking for a huricanrana, DVD manages to counter into a powerbomb! The crowd boo the move loudly, as both men lay on the mat for a few seconds!

The referee checks on both men, but it is DVD who slowly makes his way to his feet first. DVD grabs hold of the ring ropes, and quickly begins to pound away onto the body of Ethan Rider with some big stomps to his midsection. Ethan Rider tries to struggle up to a standing position, but DVD backs him into the corner of the ring with some big punches that knock Rider backwards. With Rider in the corner, the crowd boo as DVD grabs him by the wrist and sends him corner to corner. Rider hits the opposite turnbuckle hard, and as he does DVD follows up with a clothesline in the corner of the ring! Rider stumbles out of the corner after the clothesline, and DVD takes advantage with a bulldog from behind onto Ethan Rider! With Rider down on the mat, DVD flips his opponent over before making the cover.

Everyone in the arena thought it was all over there, but somehow Ethan Rider is able to kick out! DVD looks frustrated as he pulls himself up to his feet, before choking out Ethan Rider with his boot. DVD finally releases the chokehold at the request of the referee, and pulls Rider to his feet. DVD nails Rider with a knee to the midsection, before taking him down to the mat with a gutwrench suplex. With Rider down on the mat and hurting, DVD bounces into the ropes, and nails a big elbow drop onto his opponent.

DVD rises up to his feet and taunts to the crowd, and gets nothing but boos from the Las Vegas audience. DVD waves off the boos, before turning back to Rider as he brings himself back to his feet. DVD nails Rider with a kick to the midsection, before positioning him for a piledriver in the middle of the ring. The boos continue to ring around the arena, as DVD drops Rider down on his head with the piledriver, before once again making the cover on his opponent.

DVD can’t believe that Rider has managed to kick out as he pounds his fists on the mat in frustration. The crowd boo loudly for the actions of DVD, as he rises up to his feet and grabs the referee by the shirt to protest the decision. The referee says that it was only a two count, as DVD backs him into the corner and screams in his face. The fans continue to boo loudly for DVD bullying the referee, however as he turns around he is taken down to the mat with a crucifix head-scissors!

The fans cheer the big move from Rider, as DVD rolls back to his feet with a look of shock on his face. DVD runs at Rider looking for a clothesline, however Rider ducks under the punch from DVD before nailing him with a knee to the midsection. DVD doubles over in pain, and Rider drops him on his head with a ‘Blaze Ridden’! The fans cheer for the big move from Ethan Rider, who pulls himself up to his feet with the ring ropes. DVD holds his face in pain as he slowly rises up to his feet, but before he can do anything he finds himself being grabbed by Rider. The crowd pop as Ethan Rider plants DVD down to the mat with a ‘Darkrise’! With DVD on the mat, Rider wastes no time in making a cover!

This one is all over, and its Ethan Rider who picks up a big win to continue to build momentum in the sVo! The fans cheer the reluctant Company member as he slowly rises up to his feet and has his hand raised in the air in victory by the referee.

I Have HimAfter his run-in with the two detectives from the Las Vegas Police Department Roscoe makes it to his locker room. His plan is to relax before his tag team match, but those plans quickly vanish. As he enters his locker room Shame is met by his agent Jeremiah Sloan whose face is filled with worry. The eyes of the two men lock on each other and Sloan immediately looks down at the piece of paper in his hand.

“What’s wrong Jay?” Roscoe asks with fear in his voice.

Jay decides to remain silent and instead hands Roscoe the piece of paper. Roscoe takes the paper and reads the three words on it…….I HAVE HIM

“Where the hell did you get this?” Shame demands.

“It was hanging on the door when I got here.”

“C’mon let’s go.”

“Where we going?”

“To find the bastard who did this.” Roscoe answers matter-of-factly.

The two men storm out of the locker room on the hunt for the culprit.BACKSTAGE

SilencedThe fans in the sold out arena pop as without any music or entrance, former sVo Owner Jon Page hops out of the crowd and over the security barrier. The security at ringside watch Page with a suspicious eye as he walks around to the announcers table and grabs a microphone before rolling into the ring. The fans cheer loudly for the man that they believe has come back to save the sVo, as he waits to address the crowd.

Page: “Matt Anderson has tried to have me banned from the building tonight…”

There are loud boos from the crowd directed towards the main man of the Company.

Page: “But then again he has been trying to keep me out of here for months and not having much success! sVo is a house that I helped create. I know more about the Company than most, and I am not about to let them destroy this place!”

The fans cheer loudly, but before Page can continue there is a mass of boos as ‘Real Solution #9’ by White Zombie blasts out over the sound system, and Matt Anderson walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp. Anderson has a mic in hand, and glares down towards Jon Page who is standing in the middle of the sVo ring.

Matt Anderson: “Cut his mic! Cut his mic now!”

The crowd boo as Page tries to respond, only for his microphone to be cut off.

Matt Anderson: “You just don’t seem to get the message do you? Your not wanted around here! You sold your stake in this place and quite frankly I think this place is better off for it!”

The crowd boo, and Page shakes his head to show what he thinks of the statement.

Matt Anderson: “But if you do insist on turning up week after week, the least you can do is compete for all these fans… in a No DQ match tonight!”

The fans cheer loudly, as Page gestures for Anderson to come down to the ring and get it on.

Matt Anderson: “Wait you don’t think I am going to fight you do you? Apart from my little cameo last week I am retired from the ring. Something which you will be as well after you get ripped apart by this man…”

The arena lights fade and a red light begins to slowly strobe as “March of the Pigs” by Nine Inch Nails pounds through the arena over the PA system. The crowd burst into a loud chorus of boos as The Company logo floats onto the sVo tron, quickly replaced by a name.

“N I G H T M A R E”

The curtains part and a man in red trunks with a black streak down the side and a black mask cut away at the top to reveal a freshly shaved head of hair. He half-grins/half-sneers at the jeering audience surrounding him.
Jon Page vs. NightmareWith Jon Page already in the ring, Nightmare runs down the entrance ramp and slides into the ring. Jon Page tries to hit Nightmare with some right hands, but Nightmare takes down the former sVo Owner with a double leg takedown, before laying into him with some big mounted punches. Page is able to push Nightmare off of him and rise back to his feet, but Nightmare goes straight back to work on Page with some big knee shots to the midsection. Page looks to be reeling from the attack from Nightmare, and the enforcer of the Company is able to grab hold of Page by the throat and throw him into the corner of the ring. With Page in the corner, Nightmare lays into him with some big body punches.

Page staggers out of the corner holding his midsection in pain, and Nightmare takes him down to the mat with a capture suplex. The fans boo the big move from Nightmare, as he makes the cover on Page.

Page doesn’t kick out, but Nightmare pulls the shoulder of Page off of the canvas so that the three count can’t be counted. A big smile spreads across the face of Nightmare, it seems he wants to inflict some more punishment on Jon Page before putting him down for the three count. Nightmare pulls Page up to a standing position, before running him into the corner of the ring. Nightmare lays into Page in the corner of the ring with some stiff shoulder barges into the midsection. Page staggers out of the corner of the ring, and Nightmare grabs him by the back of the head and tosses him over the top rope and to the outside!

The fans boo as Nightmare slowly makes his way out of the ring to the outside, and lays into Jon Page with a big kick to the midsection. Page tries to crawl up to his feet, but as he does Nightmare continues to lay into him with kicks to the midsection. However as Nightmare continues the assault on the former sVo Owner, the masked superstar suddenly stops and stares out at the crowd. Nightmare looks as if he has just seen someone he recognises in the crowd as he steps forward to the security barrier to take a better look. Nightmare begins to climb over the security barrier and into the crowd to chase after the figure, but as he does Page grabs a steel chair from ringside and slams it into the back of Nightmare’s head!

The fans cheer as Nightmare falls back on the ringside of the security barrier, and Page lays into him with some big shots with the steel chair. The monster Nightmare struggles back up to his feet, but Page grabs hold of him and rolls him back into the ring, before rolling in himself with the chair. Nightmare pulls himself to his feet, but as he does Page slams the chair into the face of Nightmare! Nightmare falls backwards, and Page quickly makes the cover.

No one can believe it as the monster Nightmare somehow kicks out from the vile chair shot! Jon Page shakes his head in disbelief, as he makes his way back over and picks up the chair. Page holds the chair ready to hit Nightmare again with it as he slowly rises to his feet in the corner of the ring. Page runs at Nightmare in the corner with the chair, but Nightmare gets his feet up and kicks the chair back into the face of Jon Page! The fans boo as Page hits the floor, and Nightmare slowly staggers forward. Nightmare pulls Page up to his feet by his hair and wastes no time in tossing him down onto his head with the ‘Rogue Driver’! With Page down and out, Nightmare makes the cover.

Nightmare has taken down the former sVo Owner, but as he slowly rises back up to his feet, Nightmare seems more preoccupied with the figure he thought he saw in the crowd. Nightmare pushes away the referee who tries to raise his hand in victory, and staggers to the corner of the ring to look out at the crowd. Nightmare stares out at where he thought he saw the figure, but if he did in fact see someone in particular, they are now long gone as Showdown heads to a commercial break.

Power PlayBarging into the office of Matt Anderson, completely unannounced, the duo of “Beautiful” Bobby Dean and Roscoe Shame, collectively known as Beautiful Shame, storm right up to the bosses desk and drop a large briefcase. A bit annoyed by the uninvited guests, but highly intrigued, Matt Anderson casually reaches out and grabs the briefcase. Flipping the locks free the briefcase pops open and a large sum of money sits there to greet the greedy man.

BBD: $100,000 from myself.

Roscoe Shame: And another $100,000 from me.

Anderson, confused as to why he was looking at such a large sum of money asks the million dollar question. Well more like the 200,000 dollar question.

Anderson: For?

Roscoe Shame: You’re looking at the new GM’s for the Night of Destiny.

BBD: Suck on deez nuts bitch!

Roscoe and Anderson both look over at BBD with perplexed looks on their faces. BBD shrugs his shoulders at both men.

BBD: Always wanted to use that, never found the right time to throw it in…

Anderson begins to count the money as Roscoe Shame, with an exasperated shake of his head, turns and walks out of the office with an arrogantly smiling Bobby Dean on his heels.

After a few seconds red fireworks shoot up from the entrance stage as Samuel Amos walks out and taunts to the fans. Thompson finally turns his attention back towards his opponent, and runs at him looking for a splash in the corner, only for Amos to dive out of the way! Thompson hits the turnbuckle hard, and Amos quickly grabs him into a roll up!

Thompson manages to kick out just when it looked like Amos was going to win the match with the roll up. Howard Thompson forces his way up to a standing position, but Amos is straight back onto him with a kick to the midsection. Thompson doubles over in pain, and Samuel Amos takes him down to the mat with a scoop slam. With Thompson down on the mat, Amos lays into him with some massive mounted punches, before Thompson is able to push his opponent off of him. DestinyStanding backstage, Candi Cross, microphone in hand is ready for the upcoming interview with former Tag Team champion, International Champion, and Las Vegas Champion, “Beautiful” Bobby Dean. With the cameras rolling, Bobby Dean strolls onto the scene, adorned in his baby blue, diamond encrusted robe. Sliding up to Candi Cross the suave Bobby Dean wraps his arm around the gorgeous waist of Cross.

Candi Cross: I don’t need to go through your accolades Bobby Dean, but I must ask a question that has been on a lot of people’s minds since you re-signed with the sVo.

BBD: Talking, blah blah blah, wouldn’t you rather be doing something a bit more useful with that mouth of yours?

Candi Cross: Now with your dreams of becoming the next sVo World Champion, once again dashed, first by Roscoe Shame at Roll the Dice, then by Jay Wildman at Seasons Beatings, and now by Samuel Amos at One Shot, what exactly is next for ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Dean?

With the crude, heart wrenching, and oh so very blunt question by Candi Cross, Bobby Dean’s arm falls off her shoulders, as he takes a step away from the wily vixen.

BBD: First, we all know Amos has no chance of beating Jay, it’s sort of like an intermission. Everyone will use this time to go to the bathroom, get refreshments and then once Amos is out of the way, the Name that Entertains will be back in the hunt.

Candi Cross: What makes you think you’d be next in line after Amos?

BBD: Now, as to what my current plans are, let me break it down to you all. I’m holding a little contest if you will. All my Beautiful fans out there are going to be able to decide my fate. You see, when I re-signed with the sVo, I was guaranteed a rematch at one of three titles. The Tag Team titles, the International title, or the Las Vegas title.

Candi Cross: You’re fans will decide?

Like an American Idol knock off, a phone number at the bottom of the screen appears.

BBD: That’s correct. By simply texting one of these three numbers, the fans will decide what title they will see around this beautiful waist.

Three numbers scroll across the screen one by one as Bobby Dean stands there all smiles.

Candi Cross: Well there you have it folks. If you’re one of the few that actually cares where Bobby’s career is headed, make the call today.

Bobby looks at the cross Candi and smirks.

BBD: I like ’em feisty. We should totally make out.

Candi Cross: I’m Candi Cross and I’m getting the hell out of here.
Cody Williams vs. Colt CooperThe house lights slowly dim, synched to the sound of a THX surround sound test causing the jam packed audience of the Goodfellas Arena to erupt. The sounds of “Head Like A Hole” (Clay Remix) by Nine Inch Nails blares on the arena’s sound system as gold lights wander around the arena. A strobe light flickers at the top of the entranceway while the entrance begins to fog up. Cody Williams can be seen rising up from the top of the ramp by way of lift with the TapOut championship affixed around his neck. Once the lift comes to a halt he throws his arms up into the air to an eruption of pyrotechnics, followed by fireworks raining down ontop of him from above the stage.

Bow down before the one you serve
You’re going to get what you deserve
Bow down before the one you serve
You’re going to get what you deserve

He makes his way down the entrance ramp, pounding his chest and pointing out to the crowd as they continue to drown the stadium with cheers. He slides into the ring and rushes to the nearest corner and stands on the second turnbuckle leaning over, repeatedly pounding his chest and raising the TapOut championship high into the air. He hops off and heads over to the opposite corner and does the same, taking off his “CCXX: Second Coming” shirt and throwing it into the crowd.

“Ladies and Gentlemen” by Saliva hits the sound system and there are boos all around for Colt Cooper as his entrance video hits the sVo-Tron. After waiting a few seconds, Colt Cooper appears on the ramp with his normal cocky smile. He positions both of his arms out, tapping his chest taunting the crowd. A spectrum of black and blue strobe lights fill up the arena followed by a down pour of confetti. Colt struts his way to the ring extending his hands to some of his fans, and gives the middle finger to the fans of sVo who don’t like him.

The International champion unbuckles his championship belt from around his waist and folds it up, before passing it to the referee. Cody follows suit and takes his belt off from around his waist and hands it to the referee who passes both championship belts off to the announcer on the outside. The referee returns to his position in the middle of the ring and looks at both competitors to see if they are ready. Cody nods his head, Colt Cooper nods his head as well and the referee signals for the timekeeper to ring the bell.

And this match is underway, the International champion and the TapOut champion battling it out in a non-title match. The two champions start to circle each other around the ring, reaching out for one another, testing the other out in hopes of sensing what the other one will do. They find themselves back in the center of the ring and press forward into a collar and elbow tie up to start the match off. They try to gain the advantage and get the upper hand, dropping down to the knee and, pushing their body weight forward in hopes of getting leverage. Cody pulls Cooper in and applies a side head lock, clasping his hands together for maximum torque. Colt begins to feel the effects of the maneuver and tries to reach for the ropes for the rope break but Cody drags him back to the center of the ring. Cody transitions over to a side headlock on the other side and floats underneath for a reverse wristlock, bending Cooper’s hand upwards for maximum advantage. Cody picks Colt’s arm and snaps it downwards, focusing on the left arm before pulling him into a reverse waistlock. He goes for the German suplex attempt but Cooper holds his ground and drops his center of gravity to avoid going up and over. Cooper delivers a hard elbow to the side of Cody’s head that loosens his grip, he delivers one more and manages to escape the grasps of his opponent. Cooper runs towards the ropes and bounces back off of them and comes charging back towards Cody, knocking him over and onto his back with a hard shoulder block.

Colt Cooper looks down at his fallen opponent and throws his arms into the air, wondering where the challenge is. He picks up Cody Williams and hits him with a hard right hand to the side of the face that drops him back down to the ring canvas once again. Cody starts to get up but is met with the cold, hard, sole of Colt Cooper’s boot to his back that drops his down to the mat once again. The International champion grabs Cody by the hair and pulls him up, dragging him back onto his feet. He grabs his wrist and ducks underneath, applying a reverse wristlock and begins to attack his arm with several hard forearm shots that drop Cody to his knees. Cooper picks him up and pulls him into a front cravate only to take him down with a snapmare take down. He bounces off of the ropes and comes flying with a front dropkick to a seated Cody Williams, knocking him flat onto his back. Cooper runs for the ropes once again, Cody Williams dropping down to his stomach. Cooper hops over him and heads for the ropes and bounces off of them once again, Cody Williams leaps into air and leap frogs over Colt as Colt ducks underneath. Colt Cooper comes bouncing off the ropes once more and Cody leaps into the air and connects with a jumping calf kick that sends Cooper stumbling backwards into the ropes. Cody charges towards Colt but he sees him coming a mile away and ducks under, throwing Cody over the top rope with a back body drop. Cody shifts his direction mid-air and is able to land himsel safely onto the ring apron. Unbeknownst to Cooper he raises his arms into the air. Cody grabs him from behind and pulls him downwards onto the mat. He then leaps back into the ring and performs an arabian press moonsault onto Colt Cooper inside the ring and stays on him for the cover.

Colt gets his shoulder up off of the mat before the referee can complete the three count. Cody gets onto his knees and asks the referee if that was three, but the referee reminds him that it was only a two count. Cody picks Colt up by his hair and hits him across his upper back area with a hard forearm shot. He lifts him up to a vertical base and hits him with a hard forearm shot across the face, followed by a European uppercut. Cooper retaliates and hits Cody with a hard forearm shot of his own, followed by a stiff knife edge chop that sends Cody reeling. Cody bounces off of the ring ropes and comes charging at Cooper with a running clothesline that staggers the International champion. Cooper bounces off of the ropes himself this time and comes back with a full head of steam and hits Cody with a running clothesline of his own that sends Cody stumbling backwards into the ropes. Cody bounces off of the ropes and swings for the fences with a hard lariat but Colt ducks underneath and runs towards the ropes. Cody bounces back as Colt bounces off as well, they meet in the middle of the ring and Colt takes Cody down with a hard spear attack that turns the TapOut champion inside out.

The two of them lay on their backs, unable to get back onto thei feet prompting the referee to begin adminstering a ten count.

Colt begins to show signs of life and turns over onto his stomach, mangaing to pull himself onto his hands and knees.

Colt grabs the ring ropes and starts to pull himself up onto his feet.

Colt Cooper is on his feet now, using the ring ropes to keep himself up while his opponent is still lying on his back showing no signs of movement.

Suddenly, Cody Williams kips up onto his feet and stares at Colt Cooper who looks at him in amazement. Colt runs towards Cody Williams who stops him in his tracks with a hard boot to the midsection that folds him over. Cody runs for the ropes and comes bouncing back with a Yakuza kick that sends Colt Cooper flying, landing hard on his back. Colt scrambles back onto his feet only to be knocked back down onto the mat with a clothesline. He gets back up onto his feet again and goes for a clothesline of his own, swinging, but misses as Cody ducks underneath the clothesline attempt and turns it into a blue thunder driver. Cody picks Colt Cooper up off of the mat, grabbing him by the hair. Colt escapes the grasp of Cody Williams and hits him with several forearms to the side of the face. He goes for an irish whip attempt but Cody telegraphs it and reverses it, sending Colt into the ropes instead. Cody goes for a back body drop but as Colt comes bouncing off of the ropes he sees this ahead of time and stops in his tracks. He delivers a stiff kick to the chest of Cody that sends him reeling, but not enough to drop him down to the mat. Colt, seeing that Cody is still on his feet, leaps into the air and hits a sickening enziguiri that echoes throughout the Goodfellas Arena. Cody drops to a knee but quickly stands back up, visibly groggy from the barrage of attacks from the International Champion Colt Cooper. Colt, frustrated with the heart of Cody Williams bounces off of the ropes and comes running back towards Cody and takes him down to the mat with a running spike neckbreaker. He immediately crawls back over and on top of his opponent for the cover.

Cody manages to get his shoulder up in just the nick of time. Visibly frustrated Colt runs his hands through his hair, wondering exactly what he has to do to put away his opponent tonight. Colt pounds onto the mat in frustration and looks at his downed opponent thinking of his next plan of attack. He picks Cody Williams up by his hair and irish whips him into the corner, Cody’s back colliding hard with the turnbuckles. Colt rushes towards him and hits him with a jawbreaking lariat that causes Cody to slump in the corner. Colt grabs Cody’s arm once again and sends him running across the ring with another hard irish whip, causing Cody to crash against the turnbuckles once more. Colt runs towards Cody with a full head of steam, but Cody runs out from the corner as well and they meet in the middle of the ring, Cody taking Colt down with a running STO. The two of them lay in the middle of the ring, their backs against the canvas. Cody begins to make some movement and manages to bring himself up and onto his feet. He looks down at his opponent laying in the middle of the ring and turns his attention to the turnbuckles. He looks out to the crowd and points to the turnbuckles to the fans delight. He looks to be going for PERFECTLY EXECUTED, his double jump moonsault. Just as he leaps onto the second ropes Colt scrambles onto his feet and makes his way towards the ropes. Cody springboards onto the top rope and Colt hits the ropes, causing Cody to get crotched on the top turnbuckle. Colt makes his way to the second turnbuckle and grabs Cody by his waist, lifting him into the air before leaping backwards and hitting a second rope sidewalk slam. The back of Cody collides with the canvas, causing the ring to shake. Colt makes the cover!

Cody somehow gets his shoulder up once again.

Colt picks Cody up off of the mat and hits him a stiff knife edge chop, followed by a hard forearm to the side of the face. He grabs hold of Cody’s arm and irish whips him into the corner. He chases after Cody who tips up and over Colt. Colt turns around and Cody runs towards him, hitting him with a front dropkick that sends Colt flying backwards into the turnbuckles. Cody gets a second wind and ascends the turnbuckles. He starts to punch the side of the head of Colt Cooper while the crowd counts along.

Colt has had enough and shoves Cody off of him and onto his back in the middle of the ring. Colt begins to climb the turnbuckles and situates himself on the top turnbuckle. He leaps into the air with a big splash but Cody rolls out of harms way and Colt eats the mat face first. Colt starts to stir and makes his way onto his hands and knees. Cody grabs him by his hair and places him over his back and gets a running start and hits the PICTURE PERFECT!!! He immediately rolls the International champion onto his stomach and locks in a dragon clutch sleeper hold. Colt struggles to escape the submission maneuver and tries to crawl towards the ropes, extending his arm hoping to grab hold of the bottom ring rope. Cody drags Colt Cooper back to the middle of the ring and leans back. The pain looks to be too much for the Star Studded champion and he pounds his hand on the ring canvas.

Stand the hell beside us, or suffer“From Yesterday” by 30 Seconds to Mars begins to drum out from the PA System, and a chorus of pyrotechnics harmonize with the cacophany of the crowds roar and the multiple “Rider” chants. Ethan Rider bursts out from the gorilla position, and the crowds chants rise in noise and pitch. Rider smiles and nods humbly at the Goodfellas capacity crowd, before rolling under the bottom rope, motioning for the music to be cut.

Rider: “Thank you, SvO!”

The crowd erupt into another round of cheers, and Rider smiles, waiting for them to die down.

Rider: “It sure is great to be out here, but there’s one thing I need to adress, before anything else. Nathan Paradine and my upcoming Las Vegas title match.”

Rider: “As you all know, when I defeated The Teacher at Seasons Beatings, I earned the right to finally challenge for a title belt. That chance is drawing ever closer, and already DJ seems to be paying off management for a chance to get into that match.”

Rider: “But I digress. There are further matters to discuss with you all… To Paradine, I look forward to our match, be it with DJ or not.”

“Woah, Woah, Woah, Woah, Woah, Woah Woah…”

The camera pans around, showing Matt Anderson on the ramp, flanked by his posse, The Company. James Von Drake, Howard Thompson, Nightmare and Colt Cooper slowly begin to walk to the ring, obeying Andersons silent request to them. The crowd begin to boo and jeer as The Company members pass Anderson one by one.

Anderson: “You really are the runt of the litter, aren’t you, Mockingjay? When you came into my office, demanding a title shot if you faced and defeated Teacher… your simple brain really gave birth to the idea that I was actually going to GIVE you that shot?”

Rider: “You’re having a fucking laugh, Matt.”

Anderson: “No, Ethan. I’m not as pathetic as you. I knew you weren’t going to face Teacher unless you, being the greedy, selfish child that you are, were given something in return. So, I ‘promised’ you a Vegas title shot, because that was the only way you were gong to do your bloody job and strike off another pawn of the rebellion.”

Anderson: “So, just to clear that up… No. You will not be facing Paradine at Destiny. You will do exaclty as I fucking tell you, because if you don’t stand the hell with us, you WILL suffer the consequences.”

Anderson pulls a contract from his pocket, accompanied with the video tape documenting Rider in a full-on brawl two years ago. Suddenly, Ethan vaults the top rope, and the crowd go wild, voicing their ecstasy as Rider sprints up the ramp towards Matt. Blood spurts from Ethans nose and The Company step backwards, their work done.

Matt laughs at Ethans beatdown, despite the fact that Rider is still suffering from two bullets through his body and his tough match earlier in the night with DVD. Matt stands over him, and Ethans eyes blink slowly, before Anderson rains a torrent of saliva into his face. The crowd erupt into a volley of disgusted boos once more, but The Company is oblivious, and slowly they turn and leave the broken Ethan Rider laying in the middle of the arena.

DefacedThe screams heard echoing throughout the halls of the backstage area of the GoodFellas Arena are blood curdling. Wrestlers stick their heads out into the hall from their locker rooms with a sense of wonderment and a bit of fear as the screams continue from somewhere off in the distance. A camera crew is scrambling like it’s the 2011 edition of the Blair Witch, but suddenly they are stopped in their tracks as they stumble upon the source of the screams.

Lying in a pool of blood clutching his torn and tattered face is the once ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Dean. Screaming out in agony and anguish a muddled censor blurb appears over Bobby’s face as the scene is quite stomach churning. Hovering nearby with an eerie child like smile upon his face is a man unknown to the sVo federation. Holding a bloody scalpel in his hand, this unknown force, happily spreads the blood, Bobby’s blood, onto his own face while whistling a merry little tune.

The screams suddenly stop as the camera crew switch their focus from the mysterious newcomer back to Bobby Dean just in time to see the ‘beautiful’ one pass out, be it from blood loss or sheer agony, no one is certain. With Medics and staff on their way the newcomer casually strolls down the hall, continuing to whistle his happy little tune while he glides his hand across the wall as he walks, leaving a trail of blood, Bobby’s blood, in his wake.
Jay Wildman vs. James Von DrakeThere are boos in the arena as ‘JVD’ flashes up on the giant screen and the arena is basked in a pink glow. “All My Life” by Foo Fighters blares out as James Von Drake walks out, with his wife Lucy Von Drake as always by his side. JVD signals to the crowd before walking down to the ring and sliding in. JVD holds his arms in the air in the middle of the ring as Lucy Von Drake stands outside the ring clapping on her husband.

“End of Line” by Daft Punk plays over the PA system as the house lights alternate from green to black lighting and back again. After a few moments of playing, the house lights go out completely for a few moments before they flare to life again with Jay Wildman standing in the center of the ring, his hand pointed up in the air in defiance. He walks over to the corner, steps up to the second belt buckle and stares out into the crowd whilst holding his sVo World Heavyweight Championship belt in the air, before hopping down and preparing himself for the match at hand.

Jay Wildman and James Von Drake slowly make their way towards each other whilst indulging in a little trash talking as the referee calls for the bell to be rung, and this one to officially get underway. James Von Drake quickly cuts off the new World Champion with a knee to the midsection before trying to throw him into the ropes, however Wildman is able to counter the move by pulling JVD back towards him before wiping him out with a big clothesline. JVD pulls himself back to his feet, but Wildman takes him straight back down to the mat with a side head lock takedown. Wildman keeps the headlock locked in on JVD, until the former Las Vegas Champion is able to free himself with some punches to the kidneys of Wildman. JVD rolls up to his feet, and takes down Wildman with an arm drag takedown as he gets back to his feet.

Wildman rolls back to his feet and looks across the ring at JVD, as the crowd boo the cocky superstar while he motiones for Wildman to bring it on. Wildman slowly makes his way towards JVD, before taking down his opponent with a double leg takedown into some big mounted punches.
