SHOWDOWN!

As the camera pans around the sold out arena, Pretty Vegas by INXS begins to blast out over the sound system as the sVo Showdown opening video rolls on the giant V-Tron! The crowd goes wild for the video, featuring action from top sVo stars such as Psyko Stevo, Night, Chris Bond and Alex Ross! As the video begins to come to an end, the cameras begin to pan around the crowd as the fans jump up and down trying to get seen on TV! The announcer’s welcome the fans watching on TV to the latest Showdown episode as the camera pick out various signs in the crowd. As the official sVo Showdown theme music begins to fade out, the attention of the fans turns towards the V-Tron on the top of the entrance stage as they eagerly anticipate tonight’s action getting underway.



So It’s Come To This…

[We fade in backstage to see Nathan Paradine, dressed casually in a hooded jumper and a tracksuit, making his way backstage with a wide smirk on his face. Tonight is gonna be good, all he has to do is take care of Christian Roman, and then he can move on… move on, to deal with another unpleasant thorn in his side…]

Paradine: Haha, let’s see you try and attack me this week Cody…

[Still smirking, Paradine reaches his locker room. He fumbles the keys out of his pocket, and muttering to himself opens the door and flicks on a lightswitch]

Paradine: What… what is this!?

[Paradine has walked into a disaster scene. The walls and floor are covered in grime. The lockers are rusty, and the doors are barely hanging on by their hinges. Peering into the shower area, Nathan notices that there is an assortment of colorful graffiti on the walls. Stuttering, he drops his bag onto the ground]

Paradine: What… this can’t be right!

[He spins around, only to come face to face with a grinning Sasha Williams]

Paradine: Sasha… what a lovely suprise.

Sasha: Spare the talk, Paradine. How do you like your new locker room?

Paradine: My new locker room!?

Sasha: Uh huh. I requested it for you specifically, and Paige was only too happy to comply.

Paradine: YOU did this!?

Sasha: Yep. You like?

[Paradine’s face fills with rage, and for a moment Sasha’s face is a mask of uncertainty. Paradine takes several deep breaths, and then composes himself]

Paradine: Fine. I can make do with this tonight. I’ll have to talk with Paige after the show…

Sasha: Well, you do that. In the meantime… I’m joining Cody, and-

Paradine: No, I don’t think so.

[Paradine grabs Sasha by the arm and swings her into the locker room. She squeals and attempts to struggle free, however Paradine’s grip is iron-clad. He slams the door shut, and turns to face an enraged Sasha Williams]

Sasha: Let me out of here!

Paradine: No, no, no. You see, you may be Cody’s wife, but you aren’t his valet anymore. While we are here for the Showdown shows, you will remain in MY locker room, until I seek your services. Understood?

Sasha: But-

Paradine: Understood!?

[Grinning like a shark now, Paradine kneels down and begins to take his ring gear out of his bag]

Paradine: You see, Sasha, I’m not Cody. I don’t bully others into getting what I want, I don’t expect to always I have the best, and I most certainly know the meaning of respect. Cody would do well to learn from my examples.

Sasha: Learn from you!? You broke his neck, and then slapped me across the face!

[Paradine pauses, and the glances up for a moment]

Paradine: I’m sorry about that… I.. I didn’t mean to… It just, well, happened…

[Sasha just returns his glare, and Paradine shurgs and resumes rooting around in his bag]

Paradine: Point is, after last week, my little… problems with Cody took a turn for the worst.

Sasha: Meaning?

Paradine: Sasha, can’t you see Cody for the insensitive jerk-off that he realy is? That he has just used you up until this point to further his own career?

Sasha: How-How dare you says things like that about him!?

[Paradine finally finds the uniform he wears in the ring, and pulls it out of his bag. He smooths out the creases, and disappears into the showering area. We can hear hot water running, and steam begins to fill the room. During his shower, Paradine continues to talk]

Paradine: Oh, I’ll dare Sasha. You see, Cody needs to be shown the error of his ways, and I’m the person who is going to do that. Cody was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and now I’m going to remove that spoon forcibly and bring him back to reality.

Sasha: Well, you certainly had a good attempt at it when you nearly broke his neck again…

Paradine: Ahh, I wasn’t gonna break his neck… Just a little something to try and make him appreciate what he has. But nooo, the second he gets out of hospital he comes back after me.

Sasha: What do you mean?

Paradine: He doesn’t try and find out what happened to you, even though I left plenty to the imagination during that charming phone call I placed…

Sasha: I’m not listening to you. I know what you are trying to do, and it’s not going to work!

Paradine: Haha, you sure?

Sasha: Positive!

[The running water abruptly stops, and after a moment of two Paradine reappears, tugging the uniform over his head. He bends down next to his bag and pulls out his trademark glasses. He slides them onto his face and grins at Sasha]

Paradine: How do I look?

[Sasha refuses to answer, and Paradine laughs aloud]

Paradine: Fine. Be like that… but, after what happened last week I think a few precautions must be made…

Sahsa: Meaning what?

[Paradine stands up and walks out the door. Sasha moves to stop the door from closing, however it slams shut. Paradine shouts from the other side]

Paradine: For you own proctection, you’d better stay in my locker room tonight! If I need you, I’ll come unlock the door okay?

[The scene fades out with Sashas screams drowning out Paradine’s maniacal laughter]



Duck And Run

As all the fans are still piling in for Showdown #33, Scott Love is doing his normal security check.

Love: “Ticket in my hand, and here’s your stamp!”

Scott stamps down on a fan’s hand to notify he has bought a ticket.

Banks: “My turn!”

The fans passing through the halls and the ones watching on the titantron from ring side cheer for Howie as Scott Love looks up to him.

Love: “You again?”

Heh.

Love: “What? No costume? No begging and pleading this time around?”

Howie looks away, as if he is another world right now. He smirks and looks up to the big head of security, Scott Love himself.

Banks: “No need for that, WHEN YOU’VE GOT A TICKET AT FRONT ROW!!!”

Howie pulls out a ticket from his pocket and hands it to Scott Love who checks it over. The fans give a loud pop for Hollywood as he stands there patiently.

Love: “Sorry, but this ticket is a fake.”

He rips it up in front of Howie.

Love: “Next!”

Banks: “You son of a b*tch!”

Howie has an angry look upon his face as the fans boo at Scott Love for what he’s done.

Banks: “That’s okay, I’ll be back next week.”

He slightly turns his body around, still having his head towards Scott Love who watches him like a hawk.

Banks: “Psyche!”

Howie quickly turns around and ducks the arm of Scott Love as he goes running down the hallway… Right into Paige Johnson.

He’s stopped dead in his tracks.

Paige: “What the hell are YOU doing here???”

Scott Love is huffing and puffing towards Banks as he grabs a hold of him.

Love: “I’m so sorry, he just … and then he … oh my gosh … I can’t breathe …”

Scott tries to catch his breath as Paige Johnson shakes her head, looks over to Howie and starts talking.

Paige: “I’m actually glad you’re here, Banks.”

Howie gives her a weird look as in, ‘you are?’

She continues…

Paige: “Yes, you see… I’ve noticed how badly you’ve wanted in this building and it’s for good reasons I’m assuming. I guess when I fired you, I thought you’d just weep and go on with your rich life style. But no, that’s not what you did. So do me a favor…”

Howie waits for what this ‘favor’ could be.

Paige: “Next week, be here at show time, I want to speak with you about something in the ring.”

Howie nods his head as Paige is about to turn and walk away.

Banks: “Well, I had a ticket … I could … I could do it this week?”

Paige is halfway down the hallway now as she shouts.

Paige: “Next week, Banks!”

Howie watches her walk off still as Scott Love stands beside him still trying to catch his breath.

Banks: “Man, quit eating so many Twinkies, Scott. You are starting to lose your edge, buddy.”

Howie pats him on the back and then just leaves the building himself, Scott Love standing there with a Twinkie in his back pocket…



Why So Smug?

Entering into the arena, Travis Williams and son, Trenton, exit from a big SUV, driven by some a driver. Bandages are on the head of Travis, as he holds in arm tight towards his ribs. A stagehand rushes over to grab the bags, as Talon exits from inside, spotting father and son.

“Hey Trenton, how are you buddy?” Travis grabs his son, and pits him beside the stagehand. Travis walks towards Talon with an look of anger across his sore face. “I thought I gave you fair enough warning Talon? Stay away from my son, and keep your distance from me. As far as I am concern, don’t leave the side of Alex. You had no business with my child, and now you want to play big brother to him? Fuck you, save your acting for those who may award you for your performance, I won’t!”

Talon looks down at the ground, shaking his head with a slight laughter coming from him. “Why must you always be a dick for Travis? I do you a favor, and you want to be smug? It’s a shame, because your son deserves a better role model than you. Someone who does not look down on people for stuff he does not understand. Hope your ribs are healed, otherwise, you’ll probably be right back in that hospital room again!”

Talon turns his back to Travis, and starts heading for the door. “I’ll see you later Trenton. I hope you enjoy the show!” Talon exits inside, as Travis turns to his son, and looks out across the parking lot.


TAG TEAM MATCH

Steven Steele & TJ Raven vs. The Sex Symbols

“Sharp Dressed Man” by ZZ Top hits the sound system and there is a mixed reaction from the crowd as the new sVo Tag Team Champions JD Hart and Sean Peters make their way down to the ring. The Sex Symbols show off their sVo Tag Team Championship belts by lifting them in the air as they prepare for this non-title Tag Team match.

“Praise” by Sevendust hits and there are boos from the crowd as Bad Religion’s Steven Steele makes his way down to the ring. The #1 contender for the sVo Las Vegas Championship looks to be in confident mood as he slides into the ring and stares down the sVo Tag Team Champions. “Path I Walk” by Boondox hits the sound system and there is a mixed reaction from the Las Vegas crowd as the sVo Las Vegas Champion TJ Raven makes his way to the ring. Raven holds his belt high in the air as he walks to the ring, however their seems to be some friction with his Tag Team partner for the night as he steps into the ring.

Sean Peters starts the match off for the Sex Symbols, whilst TJ Raven and Steven Steele seem unsure who will start things off for their team, with both men wanting to get into the ring. The sVo Las Vegas Champion contender Steven Steele finally decides it will be him to start the match off as he climbs into the ring leaving behind an angry TJ Raven, the holder of the Las Vegas Championship belt!

Sean Peters sends Steven Steele to the corner of the ring. Sean Peters with a headbutt on Steven Steele. A koppo kick by Steven Steele sends Sean Peters to the mat. Sean Peters stands up. Sean Peters with an illegal chokehold on Steven Steele. Sean Peters with a huge shooting star press, pinning Steven Steele. Referee makes the count. …1 …2 Steven Steele kicks out.

Sean Peters gets up off the ground and Steven Steele hits him with a flying dropkick. Steven Steele is back on his feet. Sean Peters is fighting Steven Steele’s head scissors. The referee asks Sean Peters if he quits. … Steven Steele tightens the hold. … … Steven Steele tightens the hold. … Sean Peters trys to escape. Sean Peters escapes. Sean Peters moves back to his feet. Sean Peters hits him with a back fist. Steven Steele steps back after Sean Peters slaps him. A forearm choke by Sean Peters nearly gets him disqualified. Sean Peters with an open hand chop on Steven Steele. Steven Steele applies the full nelson, then slams Sean Peters’s face into the mat. Steven Steele is up again. Sean Peters is up again. Sean Peters slaps the face of Steven Steele. A face rake is given to Sean Peters by Steven Steele in an attempt to gain the advantage. A fireman’s carry from Steven Steele surprises Sean Peters. Steven Steele clotheslines Sean Peters. Sean Peters lifts Steven Steele into the air and drops him to the mat. Steven Steele moves back to his feet. Sean Peters is knocked down to the ground by a strong clothesline by Steven Steele.

Sean Peters is back on his feet. Steven Steele gets thrown into the corner and gets boot choked by Sean Peters. Sean Peters hiptosses Steven Steele. Steven Steele gets back to his feet. A flying shoulder block send Sean Peters to the . Steven Steele punches Sean Peters repeatedly. Sean Peters climbs to the top and hits Steven Steele with a flying clothesline. Sean Peters is back on his feet. Steven Steele brings out a page from Ric Flair’s handbook. Eye poking Sean Peters. Sean Peters shoulder tackles Steven Steele. Sean Peters climbs to his feet. Steven Steele gets up. Sean Peters get nailed with a double axhandle chop from Steven Steele.

Steven Steele looms over his opponent ready to finish him off, however from behind TJ Raven makes the blind tag! Steven Steele looks pissed as TJ Raven leaps into the ring and nails Sean Peters with a Coronado! TJ Raven makes the cover on Peters as JD Hart tries to break up the pinfall!

TJ Raven scores the pin for his team over the sVo Tag Team Champions, despite Steven Steele doing all the hard work! Steven Steele stares down the sVo Las Vegas Champion as he celebrates the win over the sVo Tag Team Champions!

The Hunt

The cameras cut backstage area where Billy Jacobs is found walking around with a look of purpose on his face. Only one word is going through mind, and only one word passes from his lips.

Billy Jacobs: “ALONZO!!!”

Jacobs searches high and low, banging on each door he comes across. Every person he walks by, he asks the same question.

Billy Jacobs: “Where is he? Where is Kaden Alonzo?”

Most people just shrug in confusion, or run away in fear. Jacobs is visibly enraged, spitting with each word, eyes wild with anger. He continues he search, even going into the women’s locker room. The camera doesn’t follow him in, but one can guess what transpires due to the numerous screeches and obscenities. Jacobs comes rushing out of the locker room looking no worse for wear; the same look of anger plastered on his face.

Billy Jacobs: “Come on out Alonzo! Be a man and face me!”

Jacobs starts to grow more and more irritated as he begins to shoves people out of his way, overturn tables, and basically destroy anything and everything in his path. Backstage personnel scurry for cover as they see Jacobs heading their way, but Jacobs just passes them by and heads towards another section of locker rooms. Finally, he rounds a corner, and there staring him in the face is Chris Bond.

Chris Bond: “What’s up Reverend?”

Jacobs scowls at Bond, and tries to push past him. However, Bond sticks his arm up, blocking Jacobs.

Chris Bond: “Whoa whoa whoa… hold on there. Where you going in such a hurry?”

Again, Jacobs scowls at Bond.

Billy Jacobs: “Get out of my way Bond. We might be partners tonight, but what I’m goin’ to do to Kaden… that’s all me!”

Chris Bond: “I figured as much. Listen… you gotta remember. You weren’t the only one who got screwed over and kidnapped. So why don’t we go look for that son of a bitch together?”

Jacobs thinks it over for a moment, then turns and punches a nearby door. Chris awaits an answer, and gets one as Jacobs simply nods. Then the two men notice something. As they simultaneously look up, the read the name on the locker room door.

KADEN ALONZO

Bond and Jacobs do a double take, then stare at each other for a second before busting the door in.

Billy Jacobs: “ALONZO!”

Chris Bond: “Where are you? We just want to talk.”

Jacobs looks over at Bond with a baffled look, and Bond responds with a smirk and a wink. Jacobs just shakes his head, and begins to search the room. Bond joins in the search as he peers into the bathroom. Suddenly, he begins to chuckle to himself.

Billy Jacobs: “You find somethin’?”

Chris Bond: “Yeah… apparently the ‘Cult of Kharn’ all have matching yellow ducky bathrobes.”

Billy Jacobs: “This isn’t the time for jokes Bond… now come with me. It’s obvious we’re not goin’ to find Alonzo back here. But I have an idea for when we meet him later in the ring.”

Bond looks back into the bathroom, then back at Jacobs. He nods in agreement, and the two of them take off out of the room. After a moment or two, Bond comes running back in for one last look in the bathroom. Another chuckle is cut short by the sound of Jacobs’ voice.

Billy Jacobs: “Would you get out of there!?”

Bond quickly turns and runs to catch up with his tag partner. As he leaves the room, the cameras cut to a commercial break.



Hood

We cut to the back where we see Reaper arriving at the arena. Reaper is decked out in his normal Cowboy From Hellesque attire. Including cowboy hat and cowboy boots. Reaper is carrying his black dufflebag over his shoulder and a black suitcase in his right hand. Reaper passes through the arena entrance and heads down the halls towards his locker room. Reaper gets to his locker room’s entrance and starts to open his door. As he’s doing so we see a figure coming from around the corner that bumps into Reaper causing Reaper to drop his suitcase. The suitcase busts open and we see its full of white clothes. We look closer and can almost swear we see a hood. Quickly Reaper closes up the suitcase and looks up as we see the intimidating frame of none other than Scott Love as the figure who ran into Reaper. Scott doesn’t look happy…not at all.

Reaper: Dude…it is so not what it looks like.

Scott just glares at Reaper looking like he’s about to stomp a hole in his cracker ass. Reaper grabs the suitcase and picks it up his back against the door to his locker room.

Reaper: Scott…buddy, pal, amigo, que pasa? How are ya? What it is?

Reaper is backpeddling but has no where to back into. Scott starts to crack his knuckles as Reaper starts to notice Scotts hands are almost the size of Reaper’s head.

Reaper: My my, didn’t we eat our wheaties as a kid.

Reaper tries to force a smile Scott just shakes his head.

Reaper: Wait…whats that over there! The lights are flickering its the shadows!

Reaper throws his left hand up and points tot he left. As soon as Scott turns his head. Reaper sprints as fast as his legs will carry him to the right and around the corner. Scott turns his attention back to where Reaper was headed and gives chase. When Scott comes around the corner though he doesn’t see any trace of Reaper.


SINGLE MATCH

Nathan Paradine vs. Christian Roman

“Cadillac Rock Box” by Anthrax begins to play over the arena PAs as Nathan Paradine appears under the V-Tron, a self-satisfied smirk on his face. He begins to strut down to the ring, arms outstretched, and enters via the steel stairs. He climbs up onto the turnbuckle and throws his shades out into the audience, before jumping down and backing away into the corner to await the start of the match.

[Suddenly, the arena turns pitch black and over the loudspeakers, starting off quickly, are the riffs from Protest the Hero’s “Heretics and Killers”]

They called me the man with the blood of Christ

But tonight I drink with heathens and the finest blasphemies

A screaming for the silence in stunned suspicious terror

[Smoke billows at the top of the ramp, forcing people to shield their eyes from the potency]

[As the smoke begins to clear, Christian pushes through the remaining shield and quickly moves towards the ring, with camera focusing on his back, littered with images of Christ and other religious icons]

Crucified that night and I walked away with alter-egos
Like the prison priest who preaches his dead and buried gospel

[He shakes a few hands on his way down, shaking off the seeming rust as uses the stairs to climb into the ring through the ropes]

[Christian hits the closest turnbuckle and raises his right arm in the air and then jumps down, bouncing off the ropes a few times]

Christian Roman executes the jumping sidekick on Nathan Paradine. Now Nathan Paradine standing. Nathan Paradine holds Christian Roman in the corner, choking him with his forearm. Christian Roman gets thrown into the corner and gets boot choked by Nathan Paradine. Christian Roman executes a jawbreaker on Nathan Paradine. The Hardcore Champion Christian Roman is up again. Christian Roman executes a flying knee drop right to the gut of Nathan Paradine. Christian Roman grabs Nathan Paradine and applies an arm wrench. Nathan Paradine fights his way out of the hold and gets up to his feet. Nathan Paradine executes a neck scissors on Christian Roman as a Nathan Paradine sucks chants start in the crowd. Nathan Paradine climbs to his feet. Nathan Paradine has the advantage, and he grabs Christian Roman with an arm wrench. Now Christian Roman standing. Christian Roman with a jumping DDT on Nathan Paradine!

Christian Roman stands up. Christian Roman jumps through the middle rope, and drags Nathan Paradine from the ring, to the ringside area! The starts the count (.1) Christian Roman chokes Nathan Paradine with the microphone cables. (..2) Nathan Paradine gets hit with a diving elbow smash from Christian Roman. Christian Roman is up again. Nathan Paradine moves back to his feet. Nathan Paradine pulls himself into the ring, and so does Christian Roman Nathan Paradine pins Christian Roman against the ropes and chokes him with his forearm. Nathan Paradine holds Christian Roman in the corner, choking him with his forearm.

Christian Roman nails Nathan Paradine with a huge slingshot sommersault splash. Christian Roman goes off the top nailing Nathan Paradine with a flying elbow drop to the gut. Christian Roman sucks chants start in the crowd. Nathan Paradine climbs to his feet. Christian Roman gets thrown into the corner and gets boot choked by Nathan Paradine. Christian Roman rakes the face of Nathan Paradine in attempt to make a come back. A forearm choke by Nathan Paradine nearly gets him disqualified.

Christian Roman puts Nathan Paradine on the top rope and executes a superplex. Now Christian Roman standing. Nathan Paradine gets back to his feet. Christian Roman brings Nathan Paradine down with a Mexican armdrag takedown. Nathan Paradine gets hit with the Exploder Suplex from Christian Roman. The referee makes the count. …1 …2 Nathan Paradine kicks out. Nathan Paradine moves back to his feet. Christian Roman goes to the top and executes a flying hip attack on Nathan Paradine. Christian Roman gets back to his feet. Nathan Paradine gets hit with the Closer to Heaven from Christian Roman. The Referee makes the count. …1 Nathan Paradine kicks out.

Nathan Paradine climbs to his feet. Nathan Paradine executes the brain buster on Christian Roman. Nathan Paradine climbs to his feet. Nathan Paradine tries for a choke but Christian Roman avoids it. Christian Roman’s arm is just being TWISTED by an arm grapevine by Nathan Paradine. Now Christian Roman standing. Nathan Paradine gets elbowed to his midsection by Christian Roman. However the Hardcore Champion gets thrown into the corner and gets boot choked by Nathan Paradine

Now Christian Roman standing. Christian Roman hits a dragon suplex on Nathan Paradine. Christian Roman gets up. Nathan Paradine climbs to his feet. Christian Roman places Nathan Paradine over by the turnbuckle. Christian Roman jumps off with a flying sommersault neckbreaker. Christian Roman gets up. Nathan Paradine gets back to his feet. Christian Roman takes Nathan Paradine off his feet with a short-arm clothesline. Christian Roman pins Nathan Paradine against the ropes and chokes him with his forearm.

Nathan Paradine stumbles groggily out from the side of the ring and straight into the arms of the waiting Christian Roman, who slams him to the mat with a Pains of Martyrdom! With Paradine down, the sVo Hardcore Champion makes the cover!

Unscheduled Business Part 1

A figure in a red hooded sweatshirt walked up to the back entrance to the stadium. It was the door that some talent used to avoid the crowds. Two security guards in black t-shirts stood to watch guard.

“Hello, I need to get in please.”

The two men took a look at the man, “Sorry, your not permitted to pass. This way is for talent and staff only.”

The man took a look at the two guards, “Well then, I’m sorry to have bothered you two.”

The figure began to turn around as the guards went back to their stance from being satisfied from turning the man away. Suddenly, the mystery man spun around and clocked one of the two men with a heavy right. The other guard attempted to grapple the mystery man and pull his arm behind him. Just then, the man jumped in the air at the guard and caused for the two of them to fall backwards, with the figure landing on the guy. The second guard smacked his head on the pavement knocking him out.

The figure then opened the door and began to drag both guards inside the stadium. Once inside, the door finally shut behind them.



A Hero Must Fall

[We are LIVE from the Goodfellas Arena as they fans are abuzz at all the action that will happen tonight. We cut to the back where SvO lead interviewer Tamara Boyd is standing by. Tamara is wearing a stunning black dress with a V-neck top showing her curvaceous body. (no drooling guys) She gets some last minute instructions from her producer, then looks into the camera and flashes her signature wink of her eye as she brings the microphone to her sexy lips.]

Tamara: Ladies and gentleman, tonight for the first time ever in the sVo, we have the epic meeting of “220” Cody Williams and my guest at this time. Accompanied by his girlfriend Rose Smith, he is the Xtreme Icon Peter Gilmour.

[Peter and Rose come into the scene but Peter looks different somehow. He is looking around at everything in the Goodfellas Arena.]

Tamara: Peter, are you ok?

Peter: They’re here!

Tamara: Who’s here?

[Peter looks around and tries to look up Tamara’s dress but Tamara and Rose will have none of that as both smack Peter in the face and Peter falls down.]

Tamara and Rose: SNAP OUT OF IT!

[Tamara and Rose look at each other for a bit.]

Tamara: What was that about?

Rose: He thinks he saw the shadows arrive to the building.

[Tamara’s face is of pure shock. The shadows have been running amok the past few weeks inside the Goodfellas Casino and have been messing with not only Peter, but Paige Johnson.]

Tamara: Wait this is a HUGE story. Peter, get up!

[Peter is still on the floor. Rose bends down and picks Peter up by his ear (OUCH!) and Peter screams out in pain.]

Peter: Will you stop!

Rose: You got a match tonight with Cody Williams. Enough about the stupid shadows.

Peter: Stu.. STUPID SHADOWS?! Are you mad woman? The shadows are here and no one is safe!

[Peter leaves the scene as Rose follows.]

Tamara: But what about Cody Williams?

[We fade out to commercial.]



ANALyzing sVo

Footage on the V-Tron starts to play, as The Ninth Symphony starts to rain out. Suddenly a scratching noise is heard, and a skip, as Alcona’s “I’m A Dick” jumps in. The names, Richard Seymour and Ethan Bush flash all over the V-Tron, as ANALyzing sVo follows it. Two men walk out from the back, Ethan leads the way, wearing a pair of black slacks, leather dress shoes, a T-shirt that reads, “MEET AT THE Y”, big black sunglasses, and long flowing black hair to the middle of the of his back. Following behind him, Richard Seymour is dressed in black slacks, black Italian shoes, a white dress button down collared shirt. He also wears a blue tie and a black blazer. His hair is short and neatly combed with a slash part to the left. Upon his face is horn rimmed glasses. Both men walk down the ramp, as Ethan bounces one foot at a time up the steps, and Richard follows with no bounce. Ethan grabs a microphone on the apron, and hands it back, and then grabs the other one. Ethan sits on the middle rope, and lifts up the top one, as Richard steps in between the two, and Ethan shimmy his way inside. Both men walk to the center of the ring, where two plush black leather chairs are sitting, and they take a seat, as the music ends.

Ethan Bush – WELCOME TO ANALyzing SVO! I am Ethan Bush, joined by my partner in analyzing crime, Dick Seymour!

Richard Seymour – *clearing his throat*: That is Seymour *pauses* Richard Seymour.

Ethan Bush – EXCUSE ME DICK!

Richard Seymour – RICHARD, *sighs* why did corporate think it was a good thing matching me with you?

Ethan Bush – No, Richard! I was calling you a fucking DICK! Damn, so touchy are we?

Richard Seymour – Could we please carry on you community college simpleton.

Ethan Bush – Before we go on DICK! I need to point out to you, I have a masters from UCLA…Just because I dress a different way, and wear my hair long…Does not make us any different SEYMOUR DICK!

Richard lowers his head and adjusts his glasses taking them off his face and producing a white cloth from his breast pocket whipping off the glass before putting the cloth back into his pocket and placing the glasses back on his face.

Richard Seymour – Does not change the fact you are a simpleton. Nor does it change the fact I will always be more intelligent than yourself. None the less I am not out here to flaunt my superior intellect upon you. I think pretty much the world has realized with a last name like Bush. Well there can’t be too high of expectations. We are out here to analyze the competition here in the sVo.

Ethan sticks out his tongue to Richard, who fails to see the gesture.

Ethan Bush – There are a ton of supposed superstars in the roster here in sVo. Where shall we start, Mister Seymour, Richard?

Richard Seymour- Well why don’t we start at the top. With the likes of Alexander Ross.

Ethan Bush – Mister Ross won his championship from Stephen at the last pay per view event. In an epic falls count anywhere match. My favorite part was, the pile driver in the toilet, and also seeing Stephen lose his second title to Alexander. How about you?

Richard Seymour – Personally I was rather disappointed that Stephen failed against Mr. Ross. Quite honestly for a man who speaks about being the best no matter what, he’s not living up to the hype. Course this organization is full of people who talk a large game and fail over and over again. Such as Mister, and I use that term loosely, Gilmour.

Ethan Bush – Peter Gilmour is nothing more than sVo’s punching bag. The kid thinks he is a greater wrestler, but in honesty, he is a fucking joke. And yes, we laugh every time we see anyone knock him down!

Richard Seymour – Now what my very astute but blunt associate is trying to express is that simply put Mr. Gilmour when they were passing out abilities, you must of been last in line. For the only thing they had left for you

Richard adjusts his glasses smirking towards the camera.

Richard Seymour – Was a PHD in sucking. Then again maybe that was intended for Miss Winchester. Not in the skill sense but in the way she keeps rising to the top sense. I wonder how it is someone who’s rather new to an organization gets to fight for fifty thousand dollars. Hmm it must be nice to have breast.

Ethan Bush – But Dick, wouldn’t you love to play with them? I bet she spent almost fifty grand on them bastard! How about the number one contender to Ross, Travis Williams?

Richard Seymour – Ethan, are you trying to incline that Miss Winchester isn’t “natural”. I would of never thought such a thing from a person who dances on a counter for a living. What’s next hooter girls? As far as “The Golden One”, from the looks of what Stephen did to him, it looks like he’ll be wearing a golden body cast for a while.

Ethan Bush – Here is a man who was on his way to a legacy, and now look at the chump. He is nothing more than some one hit wonder. Sadly, the one hit was a baseball bat to his head!

Richard Seymour – And quite honestly what is with the child? Is sVo a baby sitting foundation now? Seriously leave the little one at home before he ends up hurt. I mean how irresponsible must Mr. Williams be?

Ethan Bush – Good point Richard…But judging by those steriod injected monkeys in the black shirts who are telling us to shut the fuck up, I am guess this is all the time we have here at ANALyzing sVo. Any last words Dick?

Ethan Bush – Never mind, have a good night folks!

Safety First

A knock muffles on the oak door to Paige Johnson’s office, “Come in, an innocent voice calls.” Travis Williams enters into the office, “Please close the door, Travis!” She says, as he follows her orders, closing the office door behind him. “Have a seat, Mr. Williams. I need to discuss something’s with you.” She says with a kind tone.

“No thanks, I’ve been in a bed nearly most the week. I feel better standing up if you do not mind.” Travis said in reply to Paige. “You requested my attention Miss Johnson, anything I can help you with?” Travis said that, fearing what his once bitter foe had to tell the number one contender, who has been having a terrible month.

“I know I booked you against Stevo tonight, but I am seriously reconsidering this match. Your doctor faxed over your records, and has served concern to your condition. He even mention you refused most medical treatment while staying in the hospital. Not only that, but he also states you are unable to compete here tonight!” She looks at Travis, who’s head is hanging low due to the news he is hearing.

“Since the last pay per view, you’ve been on a downward spiral Travis. Winless, and you have been attacked twice. Last time, it almost ended your career. You have your son to think about. Seriously, just take a leave, and walk away for awhile. If you compete tonight, your match is not going to rest on sVo, or my hands!” Travis looks up at Paige and shakes his head.

“Times are tough, and that’s not the problem. Sure, I am marked more than Ross, as some target. Do you see me trying to make an escape route? Not on your pretty life Paige! I’ve been in sVo since April, and I am finally where I wanted to be. To walk away, would be to give it all up, like it was not important. Aren’t you tired of those who make an exit when times are rough? I know I am, and I’m not going to use no excuses no matter what. I never claimed to be the greatest, nor did I claim to be unstoppable! No matter what I am tossed into, I’m coming out a stronger person, a more determine son of a bitch than when I entered. Wash your hands of my match, but your answer is NO! I will compete tonight!”

Travis slams his hand down on her desk, causing her to jump. He shakes his head, and turns towards the door. “Have a good night Paige, maybe the Shadows won’t disturb you again!” He grabs the knob and exits the office, slamming the door behind him.



Searching for Answers

[Earlier tonight, we saw Peter Gilmour in a totally different way. He was freaking out because he “thought” he saw a member of The Shadows come into the arena but was then dealt a double dose of reality from Tamara Boyd and his girlfriend Rose Smith as they slapped the taste out of his mouth.]

[We cut to the parking lot of the Goodfellas Casino as a camera crew is rushing to see what is going on. We see the camera bouncing up and down, almost like we’re watching an episode of COPS. After a few minutes, we see Peter Gilmour kneeling behind a black car. He is looking for something, presumably the Shadows, but is being very cautious.]

Peter: Come on you bastards. Come out where I can see ya. I know you’re here. SHOW YOURSELVES!

[There is nothing that can be heard or seen yet. Peter stands up and continues to look around. After a couple of minutes, he looks into the darkness once more and sees nothing. He gives a mean stare into the darkness.]

Peter: Just as I thought. Bunch of cowards you all are!

[Peter begins to go back into the arena to prepare for his grueling match with Cody Williams. He puts his hands into his pockets and heads back. Suddenly, a light goes on and almost blinds Peter. We then hear some wicked laughter from the distance.]

Voice: You can’t run and you can’t hide Gilmour. WE WILL FIND YOU!

[Peter stops dead in his tracks and tries to shield his eyes from the bright light blaring into his eyes. The light then dims slowly and Peter brings his hand down as a black Honda Accord is staring Peter right in the face. We can’t see anyone inside, as the windows are all tinted. However, the engine is running. The engine is then revved up and Peter gives a demonic smirk to the mysterious car.]

Peter: BRING IT!

[Almost as on command, the car goes pulls out and speeds right for Peter. Peter is just standing there almost daring the car to hit him. The camera then switches back and forth from Peter and the car, culminating in Peter rolling his eyes in back of his head and somehow making the car veer to the right and smash into some trash cans. Peter laughs wickedly as he goes to the driver’s side door.]

Peter: The game ends NOW!

[Peter pulls the door open and to his surprise, it is a man in a black cloak. He pulls the man out and pins him to the car.]

Peter: Time to reveal to the world who you really are.

[Peter rips the hood off the mysterious person’s head and we see it is a tall man with brown hair. He looks to be real scared as Peter looks dead into his eyes. We can then see a small sVo symbol on his shirt. Peter sees it out of the corner of his eye and then pushes the man hard and the man falls to the ground. Peter is pacing back and forth like he is ready to kill someone. He then stops and looks up to the sky and begins to yell very loudly.]

Peter: WHERE ARE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

[We fade out to a shot of Peter breathing heavily and figuring out what he has to do to find the myserious Shadows.]



Unscheduled Business Part 2

Brock came barging through the door of the HoV locker room only to find another disappointment of no Hooligan around.

“Man, where the hell is he? Why won’t he come back?”

Cara was sitting in the room reading a book. She mostly came to see Brock fight, and it wouldn’t feel the same staying home for a week either. She looked up to find Brock who was looking heart broken to be without his partner for another week still.

“Sorry Brock, I haven’t got any word from him yet. But you’re not the only one who’s worried right now. Paige is already debating on dropping him out of the federation permanently for disappearing like this.”

Brock went over to the wall and punched it as hard as he could, and left a hole in the plaster. “Gah, it burns me up! The HoV is just falling like flies! First Freedom Fighter, and now Hooligan! Who’s next? Rodimus? Seriously, I’m going to become the only one here!”

Just then, the door to the locker room was kicked in. Both Cara and Brock spun to see who came in. The figure in the red hood from earlier tonight came walking in, dragging the bodies of two security guards behind him, and then dropped them in the room.

“You don’t mind if I leave them here do you? They wouldn’t let me pass. Could say I have some unscheduled business to attend to.”

Brock and Cara began to look at the guy as if he were possibly a sadistic killer who thought everything was fine. Just then, the figured pulled back his head, causing Cara and Brock’s eyes to bulge, and their jaws to drop. The figure then revealed himself to be the unmasked Hooligan.

“What? You didn’t think I was going to miss another Showdown did you?”

Brock tried to close his mouth so he could speak but no words came out.

“But first thing’s first. I need to have a work with Moretti.”

Cara looked up, “Sorry, I haven’t been able to do so tonight either. Might have to wait until after the show. But it’s nice to have you back hunny.”

Hooligan shook his head, “Sorry, I have to see him before then. After the show, he’ll just blow me off so he can go home in his limo full of half naked girls. Like I said, I got some unscheduled business.”



Seeking Revenge!

“Where is he?”

Williams seems to be walking with a purpose, looking around at his surroundings as if he is in search of something. He opens up several doors, peeping his head in.

Cody Williams: Where is he?

An sVo personnel can be seen in the room, taking off his headseat.

sVo staff: Huh?

Cody Williams: Where is he?

sVo staff: Who?

Cody Williams: Arrgghh.

Williams eyes widen with fury as he stops in front of a door and cracks his knuckles. He starts to breathe heavily and balls his hands into a fist. The camera zooms in on the locker room door which has a sign on it that says: Paradine/Sasha. He kicks the door open and off of its hinges and storms into the room, but to no avail it is empty. Williams picks up a nearby folding chair and tosses it across the room, volleying against the walls. Williams storms out of the room and starts to storm down the hallway, stopping in front of another door and kicks it in.

Cody Williams: Where the hell is he?

The camera finally catches up and enters the room, revealing that the door he just kicked in belongs to the office of our very own sVo President Paige.

Paige: Excuse me?

Cody Williams: Where is PARADINE?!

Paige: First off, you don’t just go around kicking down doors! Especially mine! And second, I don’t know where he is.

Cody Williams: I want him! I want him in the ring, and I want him NOW!

Paige: He has already participated in a match. And may I remind you, you have a match tonight against Peter Gilmour!

Cody Williams: I could care less about Peter Gilmour right now. I want to get my hands on Paradine and I won’t take no for an answer!

Paige: Look.. You want to get your hands on Paradine so bad, fine. You can have him at the pay per view, and you can be at liberty to name the stipulations. But tonight, you have Gilmour. You have all these build up emotions and anger, why don’t you take them out on your opponent? In fact, your match has now been declared a hardcore rules match! All you have to do is wrestle your match tonight, and you can have Paradine in any match you like at Shadows of Power.

Cody Williams: Any match?

Paige: Any match!

A smirk fills the face of Cody Williams as he nods in approval. He turns around and exits. Paige is shown following him with her eyes before looking down at her door that is now laying on the floor.



In Black

We are taken to the back where we see Reaper peeking around a corner. Reaper slowly makes his way around the corner and tip toes his way down the hall until he comes back to his locker room. Reaper opens the door and goes inside closing it and locking it behind him. Reaper looks around and finds a couch. Reaper sits the suitcase and duffle bag down and pushes the couch up against the door incase Love decided to come back. Reaper walks back to the suitcase and grabs it setting it on a desk opening it up. Inside we see white clothes, as Reaper pulls it out we can see there is a white t-shirt. Reaper pulls out a white pair of jeans as well. Reaper then pulls out a white mask, its made sort of like a bandana but with eye holes in it. Reaper closes the suitcase and shakes his head.

Reaper: Why couldn’t the store sell this shit in black?

Reaper grabs his duffle bag opening it and dumping out several cans of paint and dye. All of the paint and dye are colored black. Reaper starts to speak most likely just to himself.

Reaper: See people just never listen, I can paint all this black and wear it around. That way when the lights do that freaky blink stuff I’ll be able to blend into the dark and the shadows wont be able to see me to get me. I mean, I’m far to valuable to the sVo to be getting snatched up like All-Star. Not to mention I have a “not date” with Faith later on tonight

Reaper smiles and starts to grab the clothes and paint heading to the bathroom to get started as we fade to black.



Laying down the gauntlet

The scene opens up to the backstage area, where sVo interviewer and correspondent Tamara Boyd is standing in front of the newly rennovated, sVo Sunday Night Showdown interview backdrop. She smiles for the camer and raises the microphone up to her mouth.

Tamara Boyd: Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce, The Reflection of Perfection, Second to None himself, Cody Williams!!! Cody, thank you for joining me at this time.

Cody Williams: The pleasure is all mine.

Tamara Boyd: How does it feel to be back in Las Vegas, wrestling in your first match in the sVo since your reaggravated injury at Countdown to Violence, at the hands of your hated nemesis Nathan Paradine?

Cody Williams: It feels good to be alive and kicking again. Paradine tried to keep me down, but I keep getting up. In Japan he damn near ended my career.. At Countdown to Violence he tried to take me out for good.. And just recently he took away the most important person in my life, my wife and soon to be mother, Sasha.

Tamara Boyd: And it’s good to see you back and wrestling again, and i’m sure the fans here in Las Vegas feel the same way as well. And may I add, that’s a nice looking shirt you got on. Is that the brand NEW Cody Williams: That Don’t Kill Me Only Makes Me Stronger, t-shirt?

The two of them giggle and Cody gives a look to the camera, raising his eyebrows and then winking.

Tamara Boyd: Everyone wants to know, what are your thoughts going into your match tonight against the self-proclaimed xtreme icon and 15 time world champion?

A smirk fills the face of Cody Williams.

Cody Williams: How do I feel? How do I feel? How… Do I FEEL? How would you feel going against someone who every week, week in and week out, every second of his life, stakes the claim that he will take his opponent to the XTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME? To be quite honest, I feel fine. I’m calm and collected, because I have nothing to worry about. Nothing to gain, and nothing to lose. If I win, so what, it’s just another win in my win column. And if I lose, well, that’s not going to happen because Gilmour hasn’t won a match since his 15th world title… Did that even really happen? Or is he just living in his own fantasy world?

Tamara Boyd: That’s what he claims.

Cody Williams: He also claims that he is the most dominant hardcore champion in the history of the sVO, the King of the Deathmatch, and to have won the world title in every fed he’s ever been in and on the first night. Gilmour must be living it up in his fantasy world of false claims and wannabe championship titles. He claims to be sadistic, malicious and an unleashed beast. But you know what Gilmour? You don’t scare me one bit. But the fans will be in for a treat because tonight, they will witness the first ever encounter of Gilmour and Cody Williams. For as long as I have been in this great organisation, the two of us never crossed paths and tonight, we meet for the first time. But the real treat, is in seeing Cody Williams do what he does best, and that is do his thing in the squared circle. And after I am through with you, I can get back on track and get my hands on you… NATHAN PARADINE!!!

He takes off his sunglasses and folds them, hanging them on his t-shirt.

Cody Williams: You see Nathan Paradine, just recently I was given the power to name the stipulations for our match at Shadows of Power and I thought to myself.. What kind of match could I have where I could have Paradine right where I want him. Maybe a hardcore match? Or a falls count anywhere match? Or maybe one of Gilmour’s so called specialties, a house of hell match? Seeing as I can never seem to get my hands on you, and you always seem to escape from me as of late… I decided to make our match…

A CAGE MATCH!

He stares deeply into the camera and breathes heavily as the Goodfellas Arena erupts at the announcement of Cody Williams’ stipulations.

Cody Williams: This time, there will be nowhere to run… And nowhere to hide!!! I will have you right where I want you, and inflict pain, pain like you have never felt before as I exact my revenge on you for the damage you have caused to me physically and emotionally. You have broken my neck, my hopes and dreams, and my family… And now, I will BREAK YOU! It’s all up to you, do you accept the challenge? Or will you do what you have been doing for the past several weeks, and run away? Its your move.

Cody Williams glares at the camera for several more seconds before a smile fills his face, ear to ear. He turns his attention to Tamara Boyd and winks at her and gives her a smile before exiting camera right.

The house lights slowly dim, synched to the sound of a THX surround sound test causing the jam packed audience of the Goodfellas Arena to erupt. The sounds of “Israel’s Son” by Silverchair blares on the arena’s sound system as gold lights wander around the arena. A strobe light flickers at the top of the entranceway while the entrance begins to fog up. Cody Williams can be seen rising up from the top of the ramp by way of lift, a long black, fur lined cloak draped over his shoulders. Once the lift comes to a halt he throws his arms up into the air to an eruption of pyrotechnics raining down on him from overhead.

Hate is what I feel for you
And I want you to know that I want you dead
You’re late for the execution
If you’re not here soon
I’ll kill your friend instead

He makes his way down the entrance ramp, pounding his chest and pointing out to the crowd as they continue to drown the stadium with cheers. He slides into the ring and rushes to the nearest corner and stands on the second turnbuckle leaning over, repeatedly pounding his chest and raising his arms in the air. He hops off and heads over to the opposite corner and does the same, sliding the cloak off his shoulders and letting it fall to the ground in a silky heap while he stares down the ramp awaiting the arrival of his opponent.

The lights go out in the arena and the beginning chords of Lamb of God’s WALK WITH ME IN HELL begin to play. The lights then turn red and Rose Smith begins to make her way out to the ramp. She is dressed in a red blouse and black mini-skirt. She looks over the crowd and begins to laugh. Soon after, Peter Gilmour comes out pushing a shopping cart full of various weapons. Peter meets Rose and both of them throw up an “X” as fire emits in the same fashion behind them. The duo makes their way to the ring, ignoring the fans comments towards them. They stop at the foot of the ring and Rose takes Gilmour’s cloak off. He turns his attention to inside the ring, and out of nowhere Cody Williams leaps over the top rope and onto Gilmour with a plancha suicida.

Both men slowly get back onto their feet, Williams hopping up and playing to the crowd. Rose Smith reaches into the shopping cart and hands Gilmour a singapore cane. Williams turns around and starts to pick Gilmour up. Gilmour pushes Williams’ hands out of the way and hits him right across the forehead with the singapore cane, causing a sickening smack to echo across the arena. Williams drops to a knee, Gilmour stands next to Williams and drapes the cane across his neck and russian leg sweeps him on the concrete floor. Gilmour goes for the first cover of the match up.

Kickout.

Gilmour grabs Williams by the hair and whips him into the ring post shoulder first. Williams favors his shoulder, turning around and leaning against the ring post to keep himself up. He looks up and Gilmour nails an avalanche splash, sandwiching Williams between himself and the ringpost. He immediately grabs Williams’ arm and irish whips him into the shopping cart, causing all of its contents to spill out onto the arena floor: a couple of chairs, a stop sign, a broom, a mailbox, cheese grater, you name it, Gilmour brought it.

Rose Smith gets on her hands and knees and lifts up the ring apron, scavenging around for something underneath. She retrieves a ladder and pulls it out and hands it to Gilmour. Gilmour picks it up and drapes it across the ring apron and the steel barrier, forming a bridge type contraption of some sort. He pushes down on it, checking its sturdiness. He turns around and and is met by Cody Williams with a crutch in hand. He hits Gilmour with it in the stomach, bending him over. He lifts the crutch high into the air and comes crashing down with it, breaking it across Gilmour’s back and sending the broken piece flying into the 8th row.

Cody reaches underneath the ring and pulls out two chairs and throws them into the ring. He pulls out two more and tosses one into the ring as well, but keeping the other. He turns his attention back to Gilmour and hits him across the head with the steel chair, crushing it upon impact. He notices Gilmour is still standing and takes a few steps back. He rushes towards Gilmour with a hard lariat, Gilmour sees this and shotguns him right onto the ladder that he set up earlier. Gilmour rolls into the ring and Rose Smith once again, interjects herself in the match and tosses two more steel chairs into the ring. Gilmour sets up four folding chairs side by side, making something resemblant of a table by the corner. Cody slowly comes to, and rolls himself into the ring, propping himself up using the ropes for leverage.

Gilmour picks up the remaining two chairs and stares at them. He tosses one towards Cody and motions him to come on. Cody reluctantly picks up the chair and stares at Gilmour who is breathing heavily. Cody runs towards Gilmour and swings the chair but Gilmour ducks. Gilmour swings for the fences but Cody stops him midway with a kick to the gut. Cody swings the chair and connects with the back of Gilmour, causing him to stand up in pain. Cody swings again, this time across the head of Gilmour. Staring at disbelief at the fact Gilmour is still standing, Cody swings two more times, each a crushing blow that echoes throughout the Goodfellas Arena. But Gilmour is still standing! Gilmour then takes his own chair and smashes himself in the head with the chair three times! He begs and pleas Cody to hit him harder. Cody hits him once more, but to no avail. He then kicks Gilmour between the legs, dropping him to a knee. He bounces off the ropes and hits a flying chair shot, finally taking down the XTREME icon.

SVO! SVO! SVO!

Cody tosses the chair out of the ring and stares down at Gilmour in disbelief, shaking his head at how much it took to take him down. The camera switches to the outside and zooms in on the steel chair, folded, crushed, and broken. Back in the ring, Cody goes for the cover.

Miraculously, Gilmour kicks out! Williams sits up and pulls his hair back in frustration. What will it take for him to put Gilmour away? Gilmour grabs the ropes and starts to pick himself up. Williams waits for him to get onto his feet before he bounces off of the ropes, building up momentum. He charges towards Gilmour with a full head of steam but Gilmour counters it and back body drops him out of the ring and onto the ladder that is still draped across the ring barrier, folding it in the process! Gilmour rolls out of the ring and bends over, grabbing Cody by the hair and rolls him back into the ring. He reaches underneath the ring and pulls out several flourescent light tubes and tosses them into the ring.

He picks up the light tubes and places them across the chairs in the corner, and bridging several more across the tops of them. He turns around and is rolled up Cody into a small package.

Th.. Kickout!

Cody grabs Gilmour by the hair and whips him into the corner. He charges at him and nails a flying forearm smash right across the face. Cody looks behind him and sees the steel chair and flourescent light tube contraption that Gilmour set up. He hoists Gilmour onto the turnbuckle and open hand slaps him across the face. He climbs the turnbuckle and hooks Gilmours arm and goes for a superplex, but Gilmour blocks it. He hits Williams in the stomach with hard punching strikes to the gut. He hoists Williams up goes for a top rope powerbomb! Cody escapes and lands on his feet on the mat. He hits an uppercut on Gilmour who is still perched ontop the turnbuckle. Cody grabs Gilmour’s arm and wraps it around his own neck, and grabs his free arm and hits an Iconoclasm smashing the flourescent light tubes and folding the steel chair contraption in the process. Gilmour sits up writhing in pain. Williams blinks his eyes repeatedly, trying to regain vision and drapes his arm over Gilmour.

Interview With A Shadow

Sunday Night Showdown returns from a commercial break as ‘Pretty Vegas’ is piped into the arena and the V-Tron shows highlights from earlier this evening. As the sVo theme dies down the camera pans around the anxious fans trying to get on TV and ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’ is piped into the arena. Danny Mack struts out onto the entry way and makes his way to the ring eyeballing the one lone director’s chair sitting in the middle of the ring.

Danny Mack: “Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to Sunday Night Showdown.”

Danny eyes the director’s chair before taking a seat.

Danny Mack: “Well it is an improvement I guess, anyways on with the segment. If you tuned in last week I promised to get an interview with someone from the Shadows. No I have my own suspicions about who’s involved but I wasn’t able to get a hold of one Mr. All-Star. But … I did receive a message on my answering machine saying I was granted the interview. So tonight ladies and gentlemen, I Danny Mack … the interviewer extraordinaire have the exclusive interview with a member of the shadows. Not Tamara Boyd, not Candi Cross, me … Danny Mack will bring that to you live, right here tonight.”

As the arena explodes in a chorus of cheers Danny looks around the arena, pleased. He cocks his head to one side before continuing to speak.

Danny Mack: “Shadows … are you there?”

To the surprise of Mack himself and everyone else in attendance ‘Bad Religion’ is piped into the arena as Anthony Moretti walks out onto the entrance way with Bad Religion and a referee in tow. Danny Mack looks up the entrance way with a look of surprise on his face.

Danny Mack: “What … what is this? You’re ruining my interview.”

Anthony levels his hand and points towards the ring as he pulls his own mic up to speak.

Anthony Moretti: “Mack … just shut the hell up.”

Anthony Moretti and Bad Religion pile into the ring and Moretti approaches Mack as Steele and Zero force him out of the chair and proceed to throw it outside the ring. Zero holds Mack up as Anthony begins to speak.

Anthony Moretti: “I’ve just about had enough of you coming out here week after week Mack. First you praise up that loser Gunner Lang, then you’re out here kissing Paige’s ass, and now you’re giving air time to the Shadows. Pfft … as if the Shadows is going to save this organization. That … is my job … mine alone, and once I wrest the company from the hands of that bitch it will be mine to do with as I please.”

Moretti looks around the arena with a look of despise in his eyes.

Anthony Moretti: “Tonight … tonight I am out here to send a message to you … to everyone in attendance … and especially to the shadows. You don’t cross a Moretti. And I think I’m going to start with …”

Moretti lifts a hand and points at the audience as he begins to move around pointing at everyone, he slowly stops pointing at Mack.

Anthony Moretti: “YOU.”

At that exact moment Zero pushes Danny Mack towards Steven Steele who hits the interviewer with his finisher Banishment. That’s it … it’s over for Danny Mack who is almost unconscious on the mat. Moretti reaches down pulling Mack’s head up.

Anthony Moretti: “You bastard, you should have been giving me air time.”

Moretti drops the unconscious Mack to the ground as Steele and Zero push him out of the ring. He wipes his hands clean before he brings the mic back up.

Anthony Moretti: “That’s that. Now onto the next order of business … to prove that you don’t cross a Moretti. Now as all you peons can see I’ve brought a sVo official out here with me tonight. You may be scratching your unwashed hair wondering why I’ve done so. Well wonder no more. You see I challenge someone from the shadows to get their asses out here so I can prove once and for all that I am greater than them … I will be running this show and there’s nothing you can do about, as easy as I beat your man tonight I will take back what belongs to my family.”

Moretti looks around the arena as the fans are showing their displeasure throwing soda cans and garbage towards the ring. Anthony shares a look with Bad Religion as they share a laugh.

Anthony Moretti: “So what do you say? Get your ass to the ring so I can settle this once and for …”

Before Moretti can finish the sentence the lights in the sVo Arena flicker once and then go out. Moretti could be heard screaming.

Anthony Moretti: “GET YOUR ASSES UP THAT RAMP AND GET HIM FOR ME. YOU … RING THAT BELL.”

Ding Ding The time keeper rings the bell to start off this unsanctioned match as the fans erupt.

Several moments pass as the ensuing fight can be heard in the ring. Then silence. As the lights come back up a confused Steele, and Zero stand on the entrance ramp looking down at the ring. A confused ref stands in the middle of the ring looking down at what appears to be an unconscious Anthony Moretti. He begins the count.

1 … 2 … 3 … 4 … 5 … 6 … 7 … 8 … 9 … 10. He calls for the bell. A shocked Zero snaps too running down to the ring. As he rolls Anthony Moretti over to help him to his feet he see’s it on the mat under Moretti a jersey of some sort. As he pulls Moretti to his feet he holds up the jersey and the fans erupt. In the hands of Zero is one of Johnny All-Stars sVo Jerseys.

Score one for the Shadows.


SINGLE MATCH

Talon vs. William Vorheez

Suddenly, the arena turns pitch black and and over the loudspeakers, starting off quickly, are the riffs from Protest the Hero’s “Heretics and Killers”.

They called me the man with the blood of Christ

A screaming for the silence in stunned suspicious terror

Smoke billows at the top of the ramp, forcing people to shield their eyes from the potency.

I built a temple in my life and used God to seal the pillars
After twenty years of fighting young heretics and killers
I watch my temple fall to pieces at the first signs of oncoming weather
Fell to my knees like Jesus in the cave, knew I would die

.As the smoke begins to clear, the special enforcer of this match, Christian Roman pushes through the remaining shield and quickly moves towards the ring, with camera focusing on his back, littered with images of Christ and other religious icons.

There’s a hole in my heart but it just makes me unholy
Crucified that night and I walked away with alter-egos

He shakes a few hands on his way down, shaking off the seeming rust as he takes his place on the outside of the ring.

Roman raises his right arm and the Hardcore Championship belt in the air to a cheer from the fans, as Hardcore Champion and fans alike wait for the start of this epic match between number one contender William Vorheez, and the man who won a title shot against Roman, Talon.

Gonnnnnnng.

The arena suddenly goes black. Gonnnnnnng.

“For Whom the Bell Tolls” begins, and suddenly green lights and lasers explode to life all over the entrance area. Talon walks out stiffly, swivels his neck, then pounds his chest twice and raises his fists into the air. On cue, green pyro explodes quickly behind him. Talon walks down toward the ring, pointing his index and middle finger towards fans, but what’s this?

William Vorheez runs into Talon from behind and hits him in the back as the music comes to a sudden halt, sending him sliding down the ramp! Talon had no idea that this attack was coming, as Vorheez continues to pound into Talon with the hardest shots he can muster, to the boo of the fans!

The referee makes a move to exit the ring and try to talk some sense into Vorheez, but Christian Roman waves his hand at the ref before making a warning motion to stay in the ring. The match hasn’t even started yet, and already Vorheez has taken a commanding control against his opponent!

Vorheez hits Talon on the back as he tries to cripple him next to the announce table, but it seems that Talon has had enough, as he kicks Vorheez in the gut and doubles him over! Vorheez steps away as Talon tries to catch his breath, taking his trench coat off and throwing it at the weakened Vorheez. Vorheez catches the coat, but is blindsided by Talon, who hits him with the Claws of Fate superkick!

Talon raises his fists in the air to the fans before stomping Vorheez on the back. He grabs him by his hair and hits him several times before dragging him to the ring. As he rolls William Vorheez into the ring, he shoots a glare at Christian Roman before rolling into the ring himself.

As Talon smacks Vorheez across the face before pulling him up, the referee calls for the bell to ring and the match is finally allowed to begin!

Talon hits Vorheez with a stiff left hand, stunning him for a moment. He runs to the ring ropes, trying to hit Vorheez with the Laundry Line, but special enforcer Roman has other ideas. He hops up onto the turnbuckle and strikes Talon in the back when the referee isn’t looking. The wounded Talon leans on the turnbuckle as he reels from the cheap shot by the Hardcore Champion, but he doesn’t have enough time before William Vorheez hits him with a heavy spear against the ropes. It isn’t enough to send Talon over the top, but it sure looks to have hurt like hell, as Vorheez continues by punching him in the face with a hard right hand!

Vorheez goes to punch Talon again, but the painted superstar catches it in time, twisting Vorheez’s arm back as he smashes him with a headbutt! Vorheez stumbles back as Talon shakes the dust from his head, before following up with a flurry of lefts and rights, forcing Vorheez back toward the ropes on the other side of the ring! Vorheez finds the willpower to answer with his own punches, as he stops backing toward the ropes and makes a stand against Talon’s onslaught. The two men trade fists as the crowd reacts to each blow, each man trying to outlast the other.

Vorheez takes the advantage, kicking Talon in the gut and Irish whipping him toward the ropes. Christian Roman hops onto the turnbuckle, presumably in hopes of catching Talon unawares again, but Talon sees it coming and stops himself dead in his tracks! The referee steps next to him to argue with Christian Roman, as Talon watches on.

Talon turns right in time to duck out of the way, as William Vorheez misses him completely and blasts the referee in the head with a thunderous boot! The referee is down and out!

Vorheez surveys the damage to the referee, however he doesn’t notice as Talon climbs to the top rope. Vorheez turns right into a well-aimed Death from Above by the man in black! Vorheez tumbles over the ropes and to the outside as the crowd goes wild!

Talon goes up to the top rope to try it again, and nails the stumbling Vorheez just as he rises to his feet! Talon hits the ground outside hard as Vorheez is sent flying backward, striking the announce table with his back and slumping down!

As Talon attempts to rise to his feet and Vorheez counts the birds floating around his head, Roman slips into the ring and paces around the fallen referee. With one quick motion, Roman has stripped the referee of his shirt and placed it on himself, before pointing at himself and raising his right fist into the air! It looks like the special enforcer has just become the guest referee in this matchup between the two top contenders to the Hardcore title!

Talon rises to his feet and charges at Vorheez, however the bigger man is able to drop down, barely avoiding it! Talon trips and crashes onto the announce table, accidentally cutting his forehead open on the table. As he struggles back up to his knees, Vorheez rises and climbs onto the announce table after him!

The announcers long gone by now, Vorheez grabs one of their comfortable chairs and cracks it across Talon’s back, before throwing it towards the referee Christian Roman, who seems to be more interested in watching his two top contenders kill each other than officiating the match properly! Talon drops to his knees, before rising up and socking Vorheez in the gut with a right! Vorheez stumbles back, almost losing his balance and falling off the table, as Talon goes on the offensive.

Talon kicks Vorheez, sending him reeling down, before trying to hit him with the Wings of Destiny! However, Vorheez grabs the other announcer’s comfortable chair as he flails wildly against the move. As Talon drops himself and Vorheez down against the table, Vorheez swings the chair, nailing Talon right in the face with it! The chair goes flying across the entrance ramp as both men are knocked out from the Wings of Destiny and the chair shot!

Vorheez is the first to rise, as he picks Talon up and slams him head first into the announce table. The Wrath of Vorheez has just claimed Talon for the second time, as the announce table collapses around the two ferocious competitors!

Set on finishing this, Vorheez grabs Talon by the hair and lifts him, before tossing him over the ropes and into the ring next to referee Christian Roman. Vorheez slowly walks into the ring, confident that he has put Talon away for good, but it’s not true! Talon levels Vorheez with the comfortable announcer’s chair that had been thrown into the ring earlier! Talon has come out of nowhere, after all the punishment, and still manages to bring the fight to Vorheez, using nothing but pure adrenaline!

Talon tosses the chair outside the ring and exhaustedly covers Vorheez. Roman drops to his knees and begins to count.

ONE…

TWO…

THRE- WHAT??? Vorheez has summoned his inner strength and tossed Talon off of him, grabbing Christian Roman by the throat! Talon comes to a crashing halt across the ring as Vorheez pulls a struggling Christian Roman up with him!

Roman battles against his attacker, however the strength of Vorheez is too much, as the champion is lifted into the air and brought down with an earth-shaking chokeslam! The second referee in this match is town, and it has just descended into pure chaos! Nothing else to do, the timekeeper rings the bell, signaling this match as a no contest!

Vorheez catches his breath, exhausted now, as he picks up the Hardcore title that is now laying on the mat. He turns with it and walks right into a Claws of Destiny from Talon! Vorheez crashes down to the mat next to Roman, lights out!

Both champion and number one contender are down on the mat, as it is Talon who stands tall after this brutal match-up! He carries the Hardcore Championship belt over to the champion Christian Roman, draping it over the fallen man and poking Roman hard in the chest, the message sent!



The Idea

The cameras switch to a shot of the President’s office. Paige Johnson is sitting behind her desk checking over some paperwork, when all of a sudden the door swings open violently. Standing there in the doorway is Billy Jacobs. Paige looks up with a shocked expression, but her eyebrow slowly raises in confusion as Chris Bond make his way into the doorway. He looks over at Jacobs, shaking his head.

Chris Bond: “Dude, you can’t just go bashing people’s doors in you know. Especially not the door of my main squeeze. Geez!”

Bond turns and shoots Paige an apologetic look, then quietly shuts her door. Paige doesn’t know what is going on, and simply goes back to her paperwork. Suddenly, there is a gentle knock on her door. Paige has a good idea as to who is at the door, and doesn’t even bother to look up as she answers.

Paige Johnson: “Ahem… come in.”

The door swings open once again, this time slowly and respectfully. Paige finally looks up from her paperwork. Walking into the room is Chris Bon, followed by Billy Jacobs. Chris has a smile on his face, while both Paige and Jacobs don’t look impressed.

Paige Johnson: “What do you want Chris?”

Chris Bond: “Well, first off, I want to apologize for that rude intrusion a moment ago. But more importantly, I was wondering if you would like to go on a…”

Jacobs can’t wait any longer and steps forward.

Billy Jacobs: “This is not the time, nor the place. Listen President Johnson, you saw what happened in that video clip last week, and you know what happened leadin’ up to it. Tonight… I want you to scrap that tag team match, and give me Alonzo in a one-on-one match. I need… no… I want to teach Kaden Alonzo a lesson!”

Bond looks shocked at Jacobs’ request and interjects.

Chris Bond: “Hold on there partner. I thought we already discussed this. You weren’t the only one to get screwed over by Alonzo. Besides… if anyone is going to take him on one-on-one… it’s going to be me.”

Jacobs and Bond begin to argue over who deserves to take on Kaden Alonzo. As things get more heated, Paige finally stands up and puts a stop to things.

Paige Johnson: “BOYS! Will you please stop this meaningless argument? No one is getting a one-on-one match with Kaden Alonzo, so you may as well give it up.”

Bond and Jacobs turn and stare at Paige for a moment, then apologize to each other. Then, the two wrestlers huddle up to discuss another alternative.

Billy Jacobs: “Ok ok… if neither one of us can take on Kaden by ourselves, then what if we both take him on. He owes us big, and we both owe him a beat down. So, I would like to request a handicap match. Alonzo should have known what he was getting’ himself into, and we need to settle this score before we even think about Night and his International Title. So what do you think? Chris Bond and Billy Jacobs against Kaden Alonzo?”

Paige Johnson: “Umm…”

Chris Bond: “But that’s not all. I’m sure Night isn’t too pleased with us getting into his business with Alonzo, so he’s probably going to want a piece of us. Also, there is the matter of The Cult… or The Clash… or the Wrath of Khan… or whatever they call themselves. So we would like to suggest a Special Enforcer to make sure there is no funny business.”

Paige Johnson: “Well…”

Billy Jacobs: “It would have to be someone who knows how to handle themselves in a fight. And it would have to be someone who is on the same level as Night.”

Chris Bond: “Joseph Equinox. He’s our man!”

Paige Johnson: “Listen guys… I’m very busy, and I really don’t have time for all of this. So simply put… the answer is… no.”

Both Bond and Jacobs look a little disappointed with the answer.

Paige Johnson: “The tag match is still on and I suggest you two go get ready.”

With sullen looks on their faces, Jacobs and Bond turn to leave, but Paige stops them at the door.

Paige Johnson: “But I do like your idea of a Special Enforcer. I’ll speak with Equinox, and he will be at ringside for the match. I don’t want things to get too out of hand out there tonight. So go get ready… and please… behave yourselves out there.”

Jacobs and Bond look at each other and nod, then turn to Paige and nod in agreement with her terms. As the two of them exit the office the cameras cut to a commercial.



Vegas Smoke

*The sVo tron lights up and the fans rise to their feet and fill the arena with a very loud, but mixed reaction as the former two time World Champion of the sVo himself, Psyko Stevo marches through the corridors of the arena. Stevo has a look of intensity and determination on his face as he rounds a corner. Out of the corner of his eye he sees something though that causes him to stop. Off in the shadows we see the cherry of a ciggarette.*

Stevo: You… what are you doing there?

*The cherry lights up a bright red before dying down in color a bit. A figure then emerges from the shadow and the fans throw up a pop as one good eye can be seen, then a nose, then an eyepath… it’s Reaper!*

Reaper: Excuse me…

*Reaper tosses his nearly finished ciggarette off in the distance before removing another one from his pocket, lighting it and putting it in his mouth. Stevo appears agitated at the mans actions as he steps forward.*

Stevo: Excuse yourself, I asked you a question. What the hell are you doing lurking in the shadows? You shouldn’t be back here, you’re not booked tonight, I don’t know you.

*Reaper pays little attention as Stevo appears even more frustrated.*

Reaper: Saw what you did to Travis Williams last week.

*Stevo suddenly sizes up Reaper, ready for action.*

Stevo: Do yourself a favor and think real careful of the next words out of your mouth…

*Reaper takes a deep drag from his cig before coughing a bit as he smiles.*

Reaper: Relax… I enjoyed it.

*Stevo takes a step back, unsure of how to proceed with the situation.*

Stevo: All right, enough of this. What do you want?

*Reaper takes another drag as the cherry once again fires up. He blows the smoke away from Stevo as the former champ appears to be losing his patience.*

Reaper: Heard your message… I like it.

*Stevo suddenly smiles a quick smile before a look of concentration returns to his face.*

Stevo: Oh, you think you heard the message? Well let’s hear your take on it.

Reaper: You and I have a lot in common… life’s too short to let people walk all over you, if you want something, you have to sieze it. Travis Williams shouldn’t have ran his mouth two weeks ago, he had no business mentioning your name, you just did what you had to do to preserve your legacy.

*Stevo scratches his head as he looks at this strange eyepatched man delivering wisdom to him.*

Stevo: Hmm… you almost got it, but I just have two questions for you. One, if you understand the message, what the hell are you doing smoking? Two, if you understand the message, why the hell haven’t I ever seen you on Showdown? You are a wrestler aren’t you? The best wrestlers are on Showdown.

*Reaper smirks and takes a drag off his cigarette. He removes it from his mouth holding it before his face looking down upon it.*

Reaper: Simply put, I smoke because I want to. See the one thing about me Stevo, is I do what I want, when I want. As far as why I you don’t see me on Showdown. The one time I was on here, I think you were busy losing your rematch to Ross. Don’t worry though, I’m sure you’ll be seeing me on this show a hell of a lot more.

Stevo: Well if you were actually at the arena that week you would know that Paige Johnson, in an unabashed misappropriation of her powers decided to suspend me before I ever got that rematch. Don’t worry though, she’ll get what’s coming to her… just like you’ll get what’s coming to you if you don’t change that tone.

*Reaper just smiles at Stevo, never taking his eye off of him as he tosses the smoke off screen*

Reaper: Hey, you asked why you didn’t see me. I simply answered, I never said I agreed with it. Quite honestly I think Paige is far to busy sucking up to Bond.

*Reaper pauses a moment snickering slightly*

Reaper: and I do mean that literally, to be doing her job. Not to mention this whole “shadows” thing and all thats going on with her. She’s just taking out her personal frustration upon you. Personally I wouldn’t take it from her either. I say you’ve done everything you were entitled to do.

*Stevo pauses for a quick second before scowling as he speaks.*

Stevo: Entitled… nothing is entitled to anyone. All I’m doing is what needs to be done, it’s a means to an end. Nothing more, nothing less

*Off in the distance we see Joseph Equinox walking towards a dressing room door, he doesn’t see what is going on, but Stevo picks up on his prescene.*

Stevo: If you’ll excuse me, I have business to attend too.

*As the Psyko One walks down the hallway, Reaper just shakes his head pulling out another cigarette lighting it up and heading in the other direction.*

Reaper: Non smokers….bah.



Count the Shadows

SVo President Paige Johnson is at her desk, where she can usually be found during sVo Showdown broadcasts. However as Paige watches the action she has booked unfold on the giant screen infront of her, there is an angry knocked in the door followed by the door nearly being pulled off of its hinges as Frank James pushes his way in the office.

Frank James – “This place is a joke!”

Paige stares up at Frank James, lost for words by his outburst.

Frank James – “I demand a rematch for the Las Vegas Championship! What sort of federation is this where you can lose a belt and not even get a rematch?”

Paige – “If you hadn’t lost the belt in the first place, you wouldn’t need a rematch.”

Paige flashes back her quick response, however this seems to enrage Frank James as he gets up close to the sVo President who stands to her feet.

Frank James – “Watch your mouth you bitch and give me my rematch.”

Paige stares into the eyes of Frank James, showing a flicker of steel not usually seen by the sVo President. As if she knows something that Frank James doesn’t.

Paige – “Maybe you should watch your mouth Frank.”

A sudden flicker of the lights in the office of Paige quickly sends the Presidents eyes darting around the room as the determination vanishes from her face and is replaced by a look of fear.

Frank James – “This place really is a joke. After giving me my rematch the second thing you should do is pay your fucking electricity bills.”

Frank James storms out of the room as Paige collapses back into her leather chair.


TAG TEAM MATCH

Night & Kaden Alonzo vs. Chris Bond & Billy Jacobs

Suddenly the lights in the arena go out, and the V-Tron begins to flicker. As quickly as it came alive, the giant screen goes black again. The mysterious singing voice of a lone choir boy comes over the PA system as “Destiny” by Stratovarius begins to play. After a short time, more voices join in the singing, and a brilliant white light coming from the now active V-Tron illuminates the arena. Through the bright light, Billy Jacobs’ silhouette can be seen onstage. His head is bowed as if in prayer, but soon lifts up slowly. He scans the crowd as he makes his way to the top of the ramp.

As Jacobs makes his way down to the ring, the crowd gives him a mixed reaction. When he reaches the ring, the light from the V-Tron fades, and the lights in the arena return to normal. He slowly walks up the ring stairs, and climbs in between the ropes. Once in the ring, Jacobs goes to the corner, crouches down, and says a prayer to himself as he waits for his tag partner.

The lights dim from the piercing bright lights to an empty dark black. A single spotlight shines on the entrance ramp. Quickly it searches the entrance area, only to find nothing. Suddenly, a sheet of glass shoots up from the floor of the arena. The spotlight shines directly on the glass, and the characters ‘009’ appear quickly before fading away.

For a moment there is silence, the spotlight shines on the plain sheet of darkly colored glass. Suddenly, a laser light points on the glass. Everyone expects the glass to cut out a silhouette for the resident Secret Agent to step out from. Instead, a kick from a black boot sends the glass shattering, and out steps Chris Bond. The lights quickly shoot back on. The crowd is up in arms, cheering for their favorite spy. The smirk that is known around the world as being an interesting blend of cockiness and suaveness sits perched across the face of Bond. He begins to make his way to the ring. His eyes are locked on the squared circle, as if he holds a personal vendetta against the wrestling ring that has made him famous world around. He quickly steps up the ring stairs and slides through the ropes in a smooth, cocky manner. Staring out into the crowd, his smirk has disappeared and he looks around. Camera flashes go off without a hitch and the smirk reappears.

Bond begins to circle the ring, pacing himself and readying his psyche for the upcoming challenge. Jumping in place, he breathes in and out. He quickly bends down to get a few extra stretches in as ‘You Know My Name’ performed by Chris Cornell begins to die down. The lights pop back to normalcy as the crowd continues to cheer for their favorite ‘double-oh’. Bond and Jacobs stare at each other for a moment, then turn their attention towards the entranceway.

The lights in the arena suddenly cut before a pulsating electric blue light begins to flash all around the ringside area.

The pulsating rhythm of “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash slowly plays over the sound system in the arena, as onto the top of the entrance stage slowly walks the ‘Cult of Kharn’. The eyes of the fans struggle to turn to Kaden Alonzo, who is followed by Arrant, Manta and Sedan, due to the flashing blue light. Kaden makes his way down the entrance ramp in time with the music. Arrant is only a few steps behind ‘The Son of Destiny’, and he is flanked by Manta and Sedan. Kaden seems to be holding his head in pain as the ‘Cult of Kharn’ stand just a few steps away from the ring.

In the ring, Bond and Jacobs are taunting Alonzo, and demanding he climb into the ring. However, Kaden just stares up at him. His followers are about to slide under the ropes instead, but…

Smoke begins to fill the stage as the lights dim to near darkness. A beam of bright white light shines from the stage. As the light begins to dim, Joseph Equinox can be seen standing at the top of the stage with smoke floating all around him. Equinox moves to the top of the ramp and flails his arms out to the side of him. Suddenly, a pyro lightning bolt fires down and strikes him. The spotlights loom over where Equinox was standing but he is no longer there. All of a sudden four more lighting bolts crash down on each corner of the ring and the arena lights change to a dark blue. And there standing in the ring is Equinox with smoke now floating around the ring. Joseph Equinox then looks down at Arrant, Manta, and Sedan, then points up the ramp. All four members of the ‘Cult of Kharn’ begin to argue and complain, but the Special Enforcer stands his ground, and eventually rids the ringside area of the unwanted guests.

Kaden, now alone, slowly climbs into the ring. Bond and Jacobs try to jump him right off the bat, but Equinox shows no favorites, and restrains them.

A whisper…

“I’m dreaming…”

The distant chords of Deftones’ “Knife Party” cut through the PA as the arena lights cut completely. The Tron sparks to life as the words “I’m dreaming…” float onto it. As the song errupts the words are replaced by one.

A name.

” N I G H T “

An explosion of purple light as a man in a black mask appears. At least, the mask appears black at first, but on closer inspection it appears to be made of the night sky. The mask does not entirely cover the man’s head and a head of black dreadlocks stream out, tracing the man’s jaw, the glimmering gold of the sVo International Championship strapped proudly around his waist.

The man stands at the top of the entrance ramp – motionless for a moment, his stance elegant and mysterious, giving away nothing of his motives. As the music swirls away, the man only known as Night begins his walk to the ring – only, he doesn’t walk, it appears more of a graceful glide. Although he moves seemlessly, he moves deceptively quickly to the ring, sliding deliberately and headfirst into the ring.

With all four competitors in the ring, Equinox makes his way down to the floor at ringside, and the referee calls for the bell.

Bond and Jacobs stand side-by-side, goading Alonzo to start the match, but he’s having nothing to do with them. Instead, he simply walks over to his corner, and climbs out onto the apron. Jacobs and Bond begin to mock their recent captor, but that is brought to a halt by the referee, who demands that one of them start the match against Night. Bond looks over at Jacobs, who takes a big step forward. Bond then shrugs his shoulders and goes to his corner.

Finally, the match is underway, as Night and Jacobs circle the ring. After sizing each other up, they move in to the middle of the ring. They are mere inches apart, when all of a sudden, Alonzo comes out of nowhere, dropping Jacobs with a vicious clothesline. Night stares at his would-be partner as Alonzo shoos him to their corner. Night reluctantly obliges as Alonzo pulls Jacobs to his feet, and sends him crashing into the corner. Jacobs stumbles forward, clutching his back, but manages to duck another clothesline attempt by Alonzo. This time, Jacobs turns and delivers a beautiful standing dropkick that sends Alonzo face first into the top turnbuckle. Alonzo falls backwards, and Jacobs tries to end the match with a simple schoolboy.

Alonzo kicks out quickly, and both men climb to their feet. They hook up in a standard collar-and-elbow grapple; both struggling to gain control. Finally, Jacobs sends Alonzo off the far ropes with a Irish whip, but doesn’t notice the blind tag that brings Night into the action. Jacobs leap frogs over the charging Alonzo, but is caught with a springboard leg lariat from Night. The two men grab Jacobs and drag him to his feet. They are about to execute a double team maneuver, but Bond is right there to break it up. For a moment, all hell breaks loose in the ring, as all four men begin to fight, but Equinox is quick to react, and he slides into the ring. He grabs Alonzo by the neck and trunks, and tosses him out of the ring, then turns and grabs Bond, pulling him to his corner.

Back in the middle of the ring, Night and Jacobs are exchanging rights and lefts, with Night gaining the upper hand as he blocks several punches, and landing a jumping kick to the side of Jacobs’ head. Jacobs is stunned for a moment, giving Night a chance to lock in a double underhook. He tries for a rolling DDT, but Jacobs counters with a much needed back body drop. With Night out of the way, Jacobs drops to one knee to catch his breath. He then turns quickly and dives to the corner, tagging in his partner, Chris Bond.

Like a bat out of hell, Bond hops over the top rope, and charges at Night, who is now on his feet. The two men collide in the middle of the ring, with Bond landing on top of Night. He begins to rain down with hammerfists and elbow drops, forcing Night to cover up. After a few more rounds of punches, Night has finally had enough, and manages to turn the tides, and now finds himself on top, and attempting to lock in an armbar. Bond quickly shows his ring awareness and finds the bottom rope and grabs it. The referee forces Night to break the hold, which he does. Both men slowly climb to their feet, exchanging kicks and punches the whole way up.

Back on their feet, they lock up, with Bond getting the upper hand as he delivers a stiff kick to the midsection. Bond then grabs Night by the arm, hitting a short-arm clothesline. He continues to hold onto Night, as he drops a knee down across the International Champion’s elbow. Night lets out a scream of pain, as Bond torques his arm around his knee. On the apron, Alonzo screams at his partner, demanding that he not lose the match for them. This prompts Bond to release the hold, and charge at Alonzo. However, Alonzo jumps down to the mat, avoiding Bond’s advances. The distraction proves enough, as Night climbs to his feet and begins to stalk the unaware Bond. Jacobs tries to warn Bond, but it is too late. He turns around, and is met with a kick to the midsection, followed by a swinging neck breaker. Night quickly makes the cover, and the referee slides in to check the shoulders.

Bond kicks out at the last second, producing a mixed reaction from the crowd. Night grabs a hold of Bond, and pulls him to his feet before dragging him to the corner and tagging in Alonzo. Alonzo goes right on the attack, booting Bond in the ribs as Night prevents Bond from blocking the shot. Alonzo the grabs the aching Bond, and drops him over his knee with a pendulum back breaker. He goes for another pin.

This time Jacobs makes the save, as he dives across the ring and smashes Alonzo in the back. This brings Night back into the ring, as well as Equinox, who has been stewing outside the ring for some time now. All five men end up in the middle of the ring, with Equinox in the middle of the pack, trying to keep the peace. Eventually, things calm down, and everyone is sent back to their corners. As Alonzo turns to discuss strategy with Night, Bond makes his move and attacks him from behind with a reverse DDT. He then locks in an inverted triangle choke, in hopes of ending the match via submission. Alonzo struggles to free himself from the hold, but Bond has it locked in tightly. On the apron, Night looks down at Equinox, who stares at him as if to say “Try and break the hold, I dare you!”

In the ring, Alonzo continues to wriggle and writhe, until he finally pulls he head out of the choke. He gasps for breath, but only for a moment, as Bond locks in a rear chin lock. Bond shouts to the crowd, trying to pump them up, and Alonzo shouts at Bond to tell him he wasn’t going to give up. Eventually, Alonzo manages to power out of the chin lock, and gets to his feet. Alonzo manages to turn around to face Bond, who attempts a leg sweep. However, Alonzo dodges the maneuver, and drops Bond with a face buster. He then falls back, tagging in Night, who is fresh and ready to fight.

He hops through the ropes, and meets Bond who is on one knee. He delivers a stunning Shining Wizard, which usually signifies the beginning of the end. He pulls a dazed Bond to his feet, and tries to position him for ‘The Dreaming’, but Bond has the move well scouted, and pulls away at the last second. He goes to tag in Jacobs, but Night is too quick, and grabs him by the back of the head, and slams in down to the mat. Jacobs shouts at Night, but the Champ pays no attention. Night then drags Bond to the corner, and looks to scale the turnbuckles. However, without warning, he rushes the corner, and knocks Jacobs down to the floor. Night then rushes back to the corner, and jumps right up to the top rope. He signals for the shooting star press, and leaps into the air. The crowd lets loose with ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ as Night soars across the ring, but the next sound to be heard is a sickening thud, as Bond moves at the very last second. With Night down, Bonds slowly crawls to his corner, where Jacobs is now back on the apron. Night starts to stir behind him, and gets to a knee. He also begins to make his move towards his corner. Finally, Bond makes the hot tag, and Jacobs is in the ring. He rushes across to the far corner, knocking Alonzo off the apron, then turns his attention to Night.

A stiff kick to the skull puts Night down face first on the mat. Jacobs then pulls him to his feet, and sends him off the ropes with a hard Irish whip. Upon his return, Night is lifted up and slammed down with a powerslam. Jacobs goes for the cover, and the referee moves into position.

As the count is being made, Jacobs looks up to see Alonzo climbing into the ring. He jumps up breaking the count, and cut Alonzo off at the pass. The two of them exchange massive blows, as the fans are really getting riled up now. Jacobs looks to be getting the upper hand as he hits Alonzo with an exploder suplex, but Night is right there to take Alonzo’s place. He hits Jacobs with a rolling underhook DDT, and looks to continue his offence, but is taken out from behind by Bond who back in the ring. With all four men in the ring for a third time, Equinox has had enough. He grabs a steel chair, and begins to slide into the ring, but deafening boos from the crowd alerts him to an even bigger problem. The ‘Cult of Kharn’ has returned to the ring area, and are running the entrance ramp. Equinox then makes a B-line for the bottom of the ramp, driving Arrant, Manta, and Sedan back up to the top.

Back in the ring, Bond and Alonzo are duking it out in one corner, with Night and Jacobs, the two legal men, fighting in the other. Eventually, the fight spills to the outside, as Bond and Alonzo crash over the top rope and topple to the floor. The continue to roll around on the floor exchanging hard right hands, while Jacobs has Night on the ropes in the ring. He drops the Champ with the ‘Kneel and Pray’ Rockbottom back breaker, then climbs out to the ring apron. He taunts Night, begging him to get to his feet. Finally, Night stumbles to his feet and turns around just in time to see Jacobs flying at him with the springboard superman punch he calls the ‘Right Hand of God’. Night somehow manages to duck the flying punch, then drops Jacobs with a standing sidekick. He then climbs to the top turnbuckle, and delivers an awe inspiring KIMURA fistdrop. Night then signals for ‘The Dreaming’ and pulls Jacobs to his feet. He sets him up, and delivers the patented finisher maneuver in the center of the ring. Night then drops to his knees and make the cover.

The sudden sound of steel on flesh silences the arena. The crowd is on it’s feet, yet silent. At the top of the ramp, the ‘Cult of Kharn’ look on in disbelief. At ringside, Bond and Alonzo have each other by the necks, but are both staring into the ring. Standing over Jacobs and Night is Joseph Equinox, with the steel chair in his hand. Even the referee is shocked at what has transpired. All eyes are on Equinox as he holds the chair up high and lets out a roar.

He then drops the chair, and rolls out of the ring. He makes his way over the time keepers table, and grabs the International Title He stands there for a moment, staring down at the prized belt, then returns to the ring. Once again, he stands over Night, who is grabbing his back after the chair shot. Equinox looks down at him, then drops the Title by his head. As Equinox turns to leave the ring he is met by a vicious spear from Bond. Not far behind him is Alonzo, who tackles Jacobs as he gets to his feet. The four men begin to brawl all over the ring, and finally end up on the floor at ringside. Fists and feet are flying everywhere as each man lashes out to connect with any body part they can. Eventually, security runs down to the ring, and tries to break everyone apart.

Suddenly, there is a great cheer from the fans as the four combatants and the numerous security guards are taken to the ground by Night who just delivered a breath taking suicide dive over the top rope. Once everyone has gained their wits, another brawl ensues. Night has Equinox in a chokehold, while Jacobs and Bond double team Alonzo. This of course brings the ‘Cult of Kharn’ and even more security into the fray. With all hell breaking loose at ringside, the cameras finally cut away to a commercial break.

Big Plans

Recently Travis Williams has gotten caught up in his bout tonight with Psyko Stevo, two-time World Champion, but has seemed to forget what honor he is trying to defend, that of being number one contender against the man who really counts, Alex Ross.

The scene opens in Alex Ross’ locker room. The setup is all the same as usual, Alex Ross and friend Talon are sitting in the two leather chairs, Ross in his favorite one. They joke to eachother, but quietly.

Ross: So that’s how we’re going to do it, simple in-and-out.

Talon: Good thing no one’s around, surely there’d be a gay joke for that one.

Ross: Surely is right.

Talon: I dunno, Ross. I don’t see where this is relevant, it’s not going to help.

Ross: Sure it is, it’s going to fuck with Williams’ head. I may as well have fun with the fact that he thinks he has a chance against me at Shadows of Power.

Talon: I can’t do it. It’s just not right.

Ross: Look, Talon… Think back to Tony Bonasera, what he used to say about his father. Do you remember?

Talon: Yeah, he hated the guy, it was all he talked about.

Ross: Exactly. Do we want that for Trenton?

Talon: No.

Ross: Well that’s what is going to happen. This kid isn’t safe with this guy, he’s a loose cannon. We’re helping him.

Talon: … Well…

Ross: I know you liked the kid, man… Do you want him to be miserable?

Talon: No.

Ross: Then I guess we have an agreement.

Talon lowers his head, Ross’ pocket starts vibrating.

Ross: Excuse me for a moment, phone.

Talon nods and Ross goes into his pocket for his cellphone. He answers it.

Ross: Alex Ross, what the fuck do you want?

Voice: Heyyyy, do I have clearance to the building?

Ross: Oh hey, of course you do. Use your old pass, they’ll take it. They could never deny you from coming back here.

Voice: Alright well I’m in the parking lot, I’ll be in… Ehh, in a few minutes if security doesn’t give me shit.

Ross: They won’t.

Voice: They better not, they know who I am. They know what I can do.

Ross: Awesome. Yeah. And now you’re on our side.

Voice: … … Yeah.

Ross: Alright, see ya in a few. Bye.

The other line hangs up, doesn’t say goodbye at all, and suddenly Ross feels for Talon a little, being exactly how he treats him most of the time. Ross hangs up his phone and goes back to Talon.

Ross: Hey dude?

Talon: Yeah?

Ross: Well… He’s on his way… and… Listen, I guess I’m sorry for sort of blowing you off lately, it’s this World Title, it fucks with you…

Talon: Don’t worry about it. You’ve got a lot of pressure on you.

Ross: … Yeah. Well, I’ll work on it, I promised I’d help you out and I haven’t done that.

Talon: Forget it, I’m managing this on my own.

Ross: Then settle for friends?

Talon: … … … Mhmmm.

The camera pans out, the two of them just sitting there with a beer in hand and relaxing before what Alex Ross referred to through public relations at the last press conference as “something big happening” happens. Who is the person on the other line? Stay tuned and find out.



Unscheduled Business Part 2

Just before they could announce the next event, the lights in the stadium suddenly dropped to pitch black. Nobody could see their hand in front of their face. The crowd got nervously quiet as they began to wonder if someone forgot to pay the power bill or if this was meant to happen.

Suddenly a series of strobe lights began to go off as very disturbing evil laughs began to play over the speakers. The old classic style looking hockey mask was flickering on and off the main monitors. Just then, a figure could be made out walking down the ramp to the ring.

Slowly, the lights began to come back to normal, as a man in a red hooded sweatshirt stood in the ring. His hair was black with red streaks through it. Many recognized him as the ex wrestler, Red Wing from Project Violence. Others began to remember that both him and Hooligan were the same man.

The crowd buzzed for a bit and then began to silence, “As you all know, I was gone for a short while. I had to straighten out a few things. It was only a few weeks. To me, it seemed like it’s been several months. Either way, I’ve been out of the ring way too long.”

Hooligan lowered the mic and slowly spun to take a look into the crowd. There were mixed reactions with his announced return.

He then brought the mic back to his mouth, “So Paige. Busy busy, Paige. Set me up with a fight, or else next week, I’ll be picking my own fights back stage.”

Hooligan then took the mic and threw it across the ring into the corner post, causing it to smash and shatter, while a squeal rank through the speakers in the stadium. Hooligan then slid out of the rind and headed back stage once more.



Silence Is Golden

At the GO POSITION, Travis Williams is trying to stretch, even with bandages around his broken ribs. “TRAVIS, HEY TRAVIS!” Faith screams out, rushing towards him. “I want to say good luck tonight!” As she is still running to catch him before he heads to the ring.

The water bottle Travis had just set on the floor, appears to be the downfall of Faith, as she steps on it, and flings forwards. In a quick motion, the sore Williams catches her, and they look at one another. “Close one” he says with a slight laughter. The two pause, silent..Leaning in, they kiss. Quickly Travis puts her back into a full standing position. They look at one another with a puzzled look.

“Hmm, Travis…” She stumbles on her words, as they escape her lips. Travis comes out the daze, and quickly cuts her off. “There’s my music, I need to hit the ring.” Faith looks at him with a slight confused look, as Travis heads towards the curtains. She mumbles under her breath, “I did not need this now!”



No One Is Safe

Backstage the former sVo Las Vegas Champion Frank James is making his way down the corridor towards the exit of the Goodfellas Casino after his loss to Julian Fiasco earlier in the night. Frank James looks obviously disappointed with the loss as he makes his way towards the door. However as Frank James prepares to leave, he hears the sound of footsteps behind him, and quickly spins around.

Frank James looks down the long corridor behind him, however sees nothing but white walls. Frank James shakes his head to himself before turning and making his way back towards the exit. Frank James takes a few more steps before once again hearing the footsteps, this time two pairs of footsteps. Frank James spins around, but once again comes face to face with nothing.

Frank James – “Hello? Who’s there?”

Frank James calls along the corridor, however there is no reply and no sound of footsteps. Frank James looks angrily down the corridor one last time before turning back to the door. However as he turns, the lights in the corridor suddenly flicker, before turning out completely. There is silence as the lights remain off darkening the whole corridor for at least twenty seconds, before flickering back into life. As the corridor is lit up there is no sign of Frank James anywhere. The camera pans right and left down the corridor.

Frank James is no where to be seen.

The former Las Vegas Champion seems to have disappeared in the darkness, the only piece of evidence to suggest he was there at all….

Two small specks of red blood in the otherwise surgically clean white walls.


SINGLE MATCH

Travis Williams vs. Psyko Stevo

“Critical Acclaim” by Avenged Sevenfold starts to blare out across the arena, as Travis Williams walks out to the top of the sVo ramp. His trench coat almost dragging the metal ramp, as he lifts back his hood, and walks down the isle in a slow manner. He circles around the ring and stops at his son Trenton in the front row, grabbing his head and kissing it. He heads over to the outside corner, reaching the steel steps, as he walks up to the top of the last step. The lights in the arena return to normal.

“So how does it feel to know that someones kid in the heart of America

Has blood on their hands, fighting to defend your rights

So you can maintain the lifestyle that insults this family’s existence

Well, where I’m from we have a special salute we aim high in the air

Towards all those pompous assholes who spend their days pointing fingers

Fuck you”

Travis removes his trench coat, handing it off to someone at ringside. He grabs the top rope, and guides his way up to the apron, and towards the center of the ring. He looks up at the ramp, as he wipes his boots on the apron, and steps in between the top and middle rope. He walks over to a corner, as he awaits the referee to check him.

“Sensation washes over me

Pain I felt so long ago

Tear a hole so I can see

“Remember” by Disturbed hits the sound system and the anticipation in the arena grows as a flash of pyro welcomes the arrival of ‘the best around’ Psyko Stevo in the sVo entrance ramp! Stevo raises his hands in the air to taunt the fans before slowly making his way down the steel ramp towards the ring. Halfway down the ramp Stevo stops and poses once again for the fans, with another burst of golden pyro firing up into the air behind him as he does. ‘The Iron Man’ then slides into the ring and bounces on the second rope to once again signal to the crowd, before retreating to the corner of the ring for some last minute warm ups before the match gets underway.

The bell rings and this main event match is underway!

DING

On the bell, Stevo heads toward Travis Williams. Williams, still battered and bruised from the attack last week, resists immediate action and backs away from Stevo. Stevo takes advantage of the situation and backs Williams directly into the corner. From there, Psyko Stevo dashes at him with a clothesline. Williams lays back in the corner from the impact and Stevo rushes in again, this time with a big splash! Upon bouncing back, Stevo walks around aimlessly for a moment to give Travis Williams a moment to enjoy the ache of his previous attack. Williams shakes it off though, like he didn’t feel it, and gets directly behind The Psyko One. Stevo turns around to get an idea as to how much time he has only to be hit with a boot and a swinging neck breaker! Stevo rolls over and out of the way of Williams, hopefully to give himself a reasonable amount of time to recover, but Willams hops right up and gets on top of Stevo. He starts close fisted punching Stevo in the back of the head and the referee darts over to warn him.

Stevo remains on the ground and the referee takes The Golden One over to talk to him about his violation of the rules, yelling. Williams rolls his eyes, looks like he wants to hit the referee, but doesn’t. Instead. we see the new Travis Williams who nods and walks away, reverting his attention back to Stevo.

By this time, the former two-time World Champion is back on his feet and the two men lock up in a grapple. Stevo wrenches forward, bending Williams back backward and gets enough leverage to snap Williams to the side for a headlock. He shakes his head at the fans’ booing and moves back to Williams, tightening his grip. With one big final squeeze, Stevo lets go and shoves Williams down to the ground. The Iron Man goes back to the crowd, yelling “I’m trying to help you people!”. The fans continue on booing and Stevo gets distracted just long enough for Travis Williams to go for the schoolboy roll up pin. 1!

No! Stevo kicks out early and Williams seems a little discouraged. He looks over to his son Trenton in the front row, whose smile gives him a boost of energy and inspiration. He uses this energy to grab a hold of the rising Psyko Stevo and whips him to the ropes. Upon return, Williams catches him with a monkey flip. Stevo hits the mat on the other side of the ring and Williams follows for a few mounted punches. Stevo manages to shake the fired up Travis Williams off, however, and the two get up for a quick stare-down.

Williams takes action first and goes for a front grapple but Stevo slips away. The former World Champion raises his arm into the air for a test of strength and Williams looks around for a crowd reaction. The fans mildly cheer so he accepts Stevo’s challenge. The two lock hands bending back and forth, pushing. After a moment on par with each other, Psyko Stevo gets the better of Travis Williams. Williams’ back arches and finally collapses under Stevo’s pressure to where Stevo is able to wrap around him, grappling from behind. Stevo lifts Williams into the air, but Williams shakes out of it and Stevo can’t hold him up! Now Williams is behind Stevo! He goes for a standard backdrop, but Stevo reverses that!

Williams is in disbelief of the battle of reversals, as he was sure he had Stevo, but Stevo sends a boot to his midsection. DOUBLE ARM DDT! This could be over here!

Williams is out on the mat and Stevo goes for the cover!

No! On three, the lights dim gold, distracting both the referee and Psyko Stevo.

“We’re gonna win,
Don’t wanna be a loser,
Gonna win.
Cause winning really is the only thing,
You wanna fight? Just step inside the ring…”

From the curtain emerges two-time World Champion “The Mike Effect” Mike Polowy who bolts down the isle in a half-buttoned blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up, khaki dress pants, and dress shoes. He must be here for Stevo, and Stevo knows it. Stevo hops off of Travis Williams, ready for the attack as Polowy slides into the ring. The referee gets in front of Mike Polowy, holding him back, asking him not to attack. Mike is patient with the referee, but apparently according to a plan. From the crowd emerges two other men, one with a painted face, a white half-buttoned shirt, and black pants; and the other with a half-buttoned pink dress shirt with khaki dress pants; and of course the World Title over his shoulder. That’s right, Alex Ross and Talon climb over the barrier and slide in the ring behind the referee and Ross takes him out with the World Title! All three nod to each other and peer over to Stevo, who despite being both very ambitious and courageous in attitude, doesn’t dare attack until he himself is provoked.

The three men in the ring take their attention away from themselves and Psyko Stevo, Ross signing for Stevo to stay back. The three start hammering on the already down Travis Williams, boot-after-boot. After a moment of senseless beating, Stevo interferes with a clubbed fist down on the back of Ross’ head, apparently wanting a fair match. Ross turns first, then Polowy, then Talon.

Ross looks over to Williams and then to Talon. He yells to him “Take Williams, the one who didn’t appreciate anything you did for him.” Talon nods, reluctant. Ross looks to “The Mike Effect”, pointing over to the front row of the crowd on the nearest side, where Trenton was. “You take the kid.” Polowy heads out of the ring and Ross directs his attention to Stevo, who again is ahead of him and beats him to the punch. Ross and Stevo share a few good shots back and forth, but before bringing his full attention to Williams, Talon gives Ross the edge and gets Stevo with an elbow to the side of the head. Ross, with the advantage, grabs Stevo and hits him with a Side Effect.

Talon heads on over to Travis Williams who is now getting up. The painted superstar doesn’t give Williams much of a chance to recover, getting him with a few strikes and then a boot. Ross picks Stevo up pushing him toward the corner, and Talon does the same with Williams. Up, up, up, the both go, Ross leaving Stevo a few feet from the turnbuckle, Talon actually taking Williams with him to the top. Simultaneously, Ross jumps, flips, and hits Stevo with THE PERFEXECUTIONER as Talon swings over Williams and grabs him in an inverted DDT, THE WINGS OF DESTINY OFF THE TOP ROPE! Both men fall toward the center of the ring and are out. Ross and Talon comradely nod to eachother and Ross tries to shake up the referee. He manages, the referee now crawling to get back up. Ross takes his title and Talon and he both exit the ring, heading over to join Mike Polowy by the barrier. Security rushes down the isle and through the crowd as Mike Polowy tosses Trenton, Travis Williams’ son, over his shoulder. Talon assures the screaming child that everything is going to be alright, which calms him down a little, but not enough to avoid the struggling and pounding on the back. Ross and Talon push through security, clearing a spot on the isle for Mike Polowy to go through, and they fight their way to the back.

A camera follows, Stevo and Williams still out, so there isn’t much to see there at the moment. The referee doesn’t count them down, being caught up in all of the action going on with Trenton. As they head further backstage, all three of them start running through the corridor from security and sVo personnel alike. They reach an exit where they have a white van ready and running. They put the kid in the back doors and slam them shut, hopping into the driver’s and passengers’ seats and peeling out. Security radios out for help, but it’s too late.

This match is not over yet, though, Stevo and Williams are still in the ring, down, but are conscious. The referee reverts his attention to the competitors, letting security worrry about Ross, Polowy, and Talon. Because he technically saw nothing, he can’t call interference disqualification, plus both men were attacked, so the match goes on. Both men finally toss an arm over one another, but at the same time. The referee can’t decide who to count for so he ignores the double-pin. He bends over, informing them that he can’t count, and orders that they start from their original corners. Both men eventually do get up and head to their respective sides and the referee signals a start.

Travis Williams refuses the restart, concentrated on the fact that his son Trenton has disappeared, turning around and staring at the empty seat. Caught up in his fit, Stevo comes in from behind, running to the ropes next to Williams. He flips, bouncing off of the second rope, with just an ounce of energy left, kicks him on the return, right in the jaw! PSYKLONE! PSYKLONE! Williams is rocked hard, hitting the mat like a rock. Stevo desperately crawls over to Williams’ body, tossing himself over top.

Psyko Stevo wins! The number one contender for the World Title has been taken down again in this gangbang of both action and controversy, and this time by a two-time former World Champion! Stevo gets up, the referee raising his arm into the air and the bell sounds. This one is all over, folks. Could this enter Psyko Stevo back into the World Title picture?! What did Alex Ross want with The Golden One’s 5 year old boy, Trenton? Find out next week and on-air prior for this week’s Showdown!
