sVo Showdown

Parc des Princes, Paris, France
Episode #026
World Tour 2008 Event #07

As the camera pans around the sold out Parc des Princes, Paris, France, Pretty Vegas by INXS begins to blast out over the sound system as the sVo Showdown opening video rolls on the giant V-Tron! The crowd goes wild for the video, featuring action from top sVo stars such as Psyko Stevo, Gunner Lang, Chris Bond and Noir! As the video begins to come to an end, the cameras begin to pan around the crowd as the fans jump up and down trying to get seen on TV! The announcer’s welcome the fans watching on TV to the latest Showdown episode as the camera pick out various signs in the crowd, including ‘Pick me for Organized Chaos’, ‘I’m a member of the Cult of Kharn’ and ‘Howie – Will you go Hollywood with me?’ As the official sVo Showdown theme music begins to fade out, the attention of the fans turns towards the top of the arena where a mysterious cage is hanging from the rafters. With no cage match booked tonight just what is it doing up there?

The sVo cameras head backstage to sneak a glimpse of Chris Bond and Gunner Lang lounging in their locker room idly chatting.

Gunner is staring at a bottle of 1972 Dom Pérignon, a gift from JD to hopefully celebrate their victory later tonight, in his hands. A wicked grin crosses his face as his eyes dart from the bottle to Bond.

Gunner Lang: “Dude … if this bottle wasn’t so expensive you should take it ringside tonight and shove it Flawless’ [beep] and then ram it down his throat.”

Bonds eyes go wide at the prospect.

Chris Bond: “Dude … that’s sick.”

Gunner Lang: “And what he did wasn’t?”

Bond nods his head in agreement.

Chris Bond: “That is true.”

Gunner starts to look around the locker room, suspiciously absent is one JD James.

Gunner Lang: “Where the hell is JD anyway?”

Chris Bond: “Not a clue mano.”

Gunner and Chris settle in to seriously discuss their strategy for this evenings match when the door swings open.

Chris Bond: “Speak of the devil.”

Gunner and Bond swing around to see Howie Banks march into the room with Jeeves in tow carrying his bags.

Howie Banks: “Man … you is stupid.”

Chris Bond: “Cutting it close aren’t you Howie?”

Gunner Lang: “Yeah we haven’t heard from you all week, what’s the deal man?”

‘Hollywood’ rolls his eyes as he instructs Jeeves where to put his things.

Howie Banks: “Don’t worry about me Gunn, I’m ready for tonight.”

Gunner pushes himself into a standing position.

Gunner Lang: “I’m not worried about that dude. JD’s been trying to get a hold of you all week. And what’s with this?”

Gunner motions towards Jeeves who’s busy putting Howie’s things away as instructed.

Gunner Lang: “I thought you signed with JD, and now you’re dragging him around again.”

Jeeves glances over his shoulder.

Jeeves: “Dude I’m in the room. Why you gotta talk about me while …”

Gunner Lang/Howie Banks: “SHUT UP JEEVES.”

Bond chuckles as he stands up.

Chris Bond: “Well … this sounds like Hollywood Gunnz business, I’m gonna excuse myself I’ve got a couple of things I gotta take care of.”

Bond claps Gunner on the shoulder as he exits the room.

Chris Bond: “Good luck.”

After Bond leaves the room Bowie breaks the silence.

Howie Banks: “Gunn man … chill. JD is my manager. No worries there. Jeeves is just here to see my match with Stevo.”

Jeeves glances over his shoulder.

Jeeves: “Yeah I’m here to see Howie kick …”

Gunner Lang/Howie Banks: “SHUT UP JEEVES.”

Jeeves pokes his head back into the locker.

Jeeves: “Why you guys gotta be hating …”

Gunner Lang/Howie Banks: “SHUT UP JEEVES.”

Gunner looks from Jeeves to Howie.

Gunner Lang: “Yeah well … fine, but, what about your actions on the flight here then? I don’t think that’s the image the Hollywood Gunnz want to portray dude. JD’s gonna be straightening that out for weeks.”

Howie rolls his eyes as he pushes Jeeves out of the way as he starts rooting through his locker. Jeeves crosses his arms as he watches on.

Howie Banks: “All right … all right. We can talk about that. Can you just give me some time to change first?”

Jeeves stands beside Howie nodding his head.

Jeeves: “Yeah after he has some time to …”

Gunner Lang/Howie Banks: “SHUT … UP … JEEVES.”

*The cameras cut backstage and the fans give a pop as we see former sVo World Champion Psyko Stevo marching through the hallways of the arena with purpose. He turns a corner and the fans give a mixed response as Howie Banks and JD James come into view. Howie has his back turned to Stevo, but JD sees the former champ coming from a mile away.*

JD: So yea, and that’s about the end of that.

Howie: Okay, so what next?

JD: Um… can we help you?

*Howie turns around and he and Stevo lock eyes.*

Stevo: JD, sorry to bother you. Can I have a minute with Banks… alone?

JD: Well I was just finished talking to him, and there are a couple things I need to run over with Gunner… sure, he’s all yours.

*JD gives a nod of his head and Stevo does the same as the aging manager takes a few steps back and retreats down the hallway.*

Howie: What do you want Stevo?

Stevo: What do I want? I just want a couple answers, that’a all.

Howie: Okay, what’s up?

*Stevo looks Howie up and down and curses under his breath at the arrogent posture Banks has decided to present during the conversation.*

Stevo: First question… What’s going on with you?

Howie: What do you mean? I’m one half of the tag champs, that’s what is going on.

Stevo: So I’ve heard… congratulations.

*Banks pulls the title closer to his shoulder as he rolls his neck, a huge smile on his face.*

Howie: So why are you here Stevo? Jealous that I’m a champion now while you don’t have a belt?

*Stevo glares at Banks and Banks just continues to smile.*

Stevo: Let’s cut the crap, I don’t have time for it… Why did you sign with JD James?

Howie: JD offered me his business services and representation, and he’s the best in the world.

Stevo: Best in the world? How many world titles has JD James won? How many sVo World Titles have his clients won?

*Howie pauses and Stevo nods his head.*

Stevo: That’s what I thought.

Howie: What’s this about anyways? Out with it.

Stevo: Wow Howie, you’ve developed quite a lip, haven’t you?

Howie: What are you talking about?

Stevo: Think you’ve come a real long way from the “star in the making” who carried the champs bags, don’t you?

*Howie remains silent and the tension builds as Stevo nudges forward, his eyes fixed on Banks.*

Stevo: You don’t even get it, do you?

Howie: Get what? Why do you always talk in fucking riddles?

Stevo: I didn’t make you hold my bags to belittle you. Hell, I never MADE you do anything. I took you under my wing and I tried to humble you because I didn’t want you to make the same mistakes I made on my way to the top.

Howie: Oh, and what mistakes would those be?

Stevo: Turning into an arrogent prick, alienating yourself from the fans who once loved you, getting an uncontrollable ego, thinking people owe you things when actually it’s the exact opposite.

Howie: Stevo, just drop it. I’m a huge success now, I’m a champ, I’ve held multiple belts. I’m a main eventer now, I don’t need to answer to you.

*Stevo clenches his fist as he tries to hold back the rage which is building up in his system.*

Stevo: Don’t make this harder then it already is Howie.

Howie: Make what harder?

*Howie continues to smile his arrogent smile at Stevo, but Stevo has had enough. Stevo lunges forward, knocking Banks five feet back and into a table, which he tumbles over, hitting the floor. Banks quickly springs back up to his feet, a look of anger on his face.*

Howie: Why the hell did you do that!? What is wrong with you man? What? Howie Banks has some success so all of a sudden you get jealous? What the hell, man!?

Stevo: You don’t even get it, god dammit!

*Stevo turns his back on Howie and flips over a table which was resting a couple feet from him. As soon as he turns around we hear a voice.*

Voice: Hey guys, what’s up?

*Stevo and Banks both immediately turn to face the direction of the voice and out of the shadows walks the current Hardcore champion, Joseph Equinox. Equinox has a cool look about him as he approaches the tension filled situation unravling before the world.*

Stevo: Equinox? What are you doing here?

Equinox: Hey Stevo, just hear the noise and wanted to see what was going on. Hey Howie!

*Banks continues breathing heavily, not even bothering to acknowledge Joseph Equinox.*

Equinox: So whats up? Everybody getting along?

Stevo: Everything is… fine.

*Banks turns his glare towards Stevo before glancing over at Joseph Equinox and cursing under his breath.*

Howie: I’ll see you in the main event tonight… friend.

Stevo: I’ll be ready…. friend.

*Banks turns his back and walks away from the scene as Equniox extends his hand towards Stevo. Stevo doesn’t even recognize what is going on until a few seconds pass, he finally shakes Josephs hand though before calming down a bit.*

Equinox: You okay?

Stevo: Yea, it’s nothing.

Equinox: You sure?

Stevo: Yea, just a little arguement… everything is cool though.

Equniox: Friends shouldn’t be fighting, you know?

Stevo: Yea, yea I know. Thanks for stepping in, things could have gotten out of hand there.

Equinox: No problem, I’m sure you would have done the same.

Stevo: Yea… well anyways, I’m gonna take a breather here. I’ll talk to Banks about all of this later.

Equniox: Cool, well take care.

Stevo: You too… you too.

*Stevo leaves the scene and the cameras zoom in on Equinox who flashes a huge smile. This is two weeks in a row now that the Hardcore Champion has come to the aid of the former World Champion. What are his true intentions though?*

“What the fuck are you doing man? Get your hands off me!” the bum screams out as Scott Love, Head of Security, forcefully ejects the smelly flea ridden man out of the Parc des Princes Arena here in beautiful Paris , France . Scott shoves the bum to the ground causing him to drop his bottle of Jack Daniels where it shatters upon contact.

“I told you…” Scott Love begins to say as he re-tucks in his shirt and straightens his sunglasses. “You ain’t a member of the roster and you don’t have a Press Pass so you ain’t getting back here!”

With that said Scott Love turns around and walks back into the arena, slamming the door shut behind him. The bum remains seated on the ground as he looks from the “Authorized Personel Only” doors to his broken and empty bottle of Jack. Without saying anything the bum climbs back to his feet and walks over to the door as if he were about to try his luck again. Instead he stands next to the door and leans his back against the wall waiting.

Just as he settles in to wait Travis Williams comes walking up. He’s got his equipment bag in one hand and his Las Vegas Title sitting comfortably around his waist. He notices the bum standing there, thinking back to his own past where he lived day to day huddled under cardboard boxes on the streets, diving in dumpsters for scraps of bug infested leftovers. Travis can’t help but sympathize with the man as he makes his way up to the arena’s entrance.

“Nice belt. Sure would suck if you ‘misplaced’ it…” the bum remarks in a sarcastic tone stopping Travis Williams in his tracks.

Travis brings the door in just enough for him to peek around and look the bum in the eyes. Without saying anything Travis Williams smiles and reaches into his pocket pulling out a wad of green backs. Without taking his eyes off the bum the champ steps up to the man and extends his handful of cash. Without taking his eyes off Travis he reaches out and snatches the handful of cash, quickly stuffing it into his pocket before Travis could even think of changing his mind.

Without a word Travis turns back around and walks through the door and into the arena but before the door can close he stops and sticks his head back out. “Why don’t you come on in?” Travis offers holding the door open for the bum. The bum can’t help but smile as he steps through the door and into the arena. A few steps in, Scott Love stops both men with an out stretched hand.

“Yo, Travis…” Scott looks from Travis to the bum and shakes his head from side to side. “I can’t have this fool in here man…”

“It’s cool Scott. He’s my guest…” Travis explains as he pushes past Scott Love with the bum stepping in right behind the champ. After a few minutes of walking Travis stops outside his locker room and looks behind him only to see the bum is no longer following him. With a simple shrug of his shoulders Travis enters his locker room and gets prepared to defend his Las Vegas gold.

Xak White vs. Rodimus

Lights begin flashing and the first chorde is struck from the guitar. Pyros burst three times with the first three hard hits of the drums as the first lyrics are sung,

“1, 2, 3, GO!”

Xak comes down the ramp, slapping the hands of fans along the way to the ring and rolls underneath the bottom rope. In the ring he steps up on the far ropes and raises one hand in the air. After a moment he does back flip from the middle rope towards the center of the ring. The music begins to fade and Xak gets ready for the match.

The Lights go off as strobes and smoke blanket the front of the entrance as This Moment by Disturbed plays. Then a Green Spotlight from the center of the entrance lights up shining down the ramp. Rodimus walks out in the spotlight with his features obscured in the light. Reaching the Ring he walks up the stairs and steps through the ropes and makes a circuit leaning against each side of the ropes.

The fans cheer as Xak White and Rodimus circle each other around the ring as the referee calls for the bell to be rung and the action to get underway here in Paris! The two fan favourites jump forward towards each other, however Rodimus quickly takes down White with a hip toss. White quickly makes his way back to his feet, however Rodimus grabs him by the arm and whips him hard into the ropes. White bounces back into the center of the ring, and Rodimus knocks down White with a big boot to the face.

The fans cheer for the newcomer Rodimus as he helps White backup to his feet before chopping him hard across the chest. White stumbles back and Rodimus quickly spears him down to the mat before laying into him with some mounted punches. The fans continue to cheer Rodimus as he rises to his feet and allows Xak White to slowly get up. Rodimus jumps forward looking to land a clothesline on Xak White, however Xak White ducks under the arm of Rodimus before turning and striking Rodimus with a spinning heel kick.

Rodimus quickly rises up to his feet but Xak White runs at him and catches Rodimus with a hurricanrana to take him down to the mat. With his larger opponent grounded, the highflying Xak White springboards off of the ropes before hitting Rodimus with a backflip splash! The fans cheer the acrobatics of Xak White as he rises to his feet and stares down at Rodimus. Rodimus slowly rises to his feet, however Xak White is straight into his opponent with some knees to the midsection of Rodimus. Rodimus doubles over in pain, allowing Xak White the chance to take him down to the mat with a DDT before making the cover!

Rodimus gets a shoulder up off of the mat to stop Xak White from walking away with his second win in two weeks! Xak White shoots a look at the referee before pulling Rodimus up to his feet and shooting him hard into the corner of the ring. Xak White quickly runs at his opponent in the corner, however Rodimus gets his feet up and drives them into the face of the onrushing Xak White! White stumbles back, and Rodimus runs through his opponent with a clothesline to knock him down to the mat.

The fans cheer as Xak White rises back to his feet, only for Rodimus to plant him down with a scoop slam. The fans continue to cheer for the sVo newcomer, as Rodimus drops an elbow down onto the body of White. Rodimus taunts White to get back up to his feet, and as he rises up Rodimus takes him down with a suplex! With Xak White down on the mat, Rodimus quickly leaps down onto his opponent to make the cover!

No! Xak White kicks out to show just how much he wants to keep up his unbeaten start here in the sVo!

Rodimus looks disappointed as he pulls White back up to his feet. Rodimus lays into White with some stiff punches before dropping him down to the mat with a double underhook slam!

White slowly begins to get back up to his feet, but Rodimus is straight back onto his opponet by sending him into the ropes. White bounces back and Rodimus hits him with a big clothesline to knock him down to the mat. Rodimus seems to see victory in his sights as he pulls White up to his feet and sends him into the corner of the ring. With White in the corner, Rodimus runs at his opponent looking for a splash in the corner, however at the very last second White dives out of the way of Rodimus and his opponent runs straight into the turnbuckle!

Rodimus stumbles backwards holding his midsection as Xak White quickly grabs him before taking him down to the mat with a DDT! The fans cheer White as with Rodimus down on the mat, he heads to the top rope! White quickly scales the ropes, before leaping from the top rope with his Stratocaster onto Rodimus! The fans pop as Xak White slowly rolls over and hooks the leg of Rodimus to make a cover after the high flying move!

This one is all over, and its Xak White who picks up his first sVo win over newcomer Rodimus! Xak White rises to his feet and has his hand raised in victory by the referee. With his first win under his belt, just how far will Xak White now go in the sVo?

RESULT: Xak White def. Rodimus via pinfall

Joseph Equinox receives a package marked private. He opens it up carelessly. A sheet of paper is inside, with a note attached.

“I have information you seek of your family. If you want to know more, call, 315-721-2553.”

Joseph quickly grabs his cell phone, and dials up the numbers given. Pressing send, he sticks the phone up to his ear and waits.

A generic voicemail pops on.

“You have reached mail box number, 3157212553, please leave a brief message after the tone.”

Joseph – Hey, this is Joseph with sVo, I received your number in a package today. Said you had information I was seeking. If you would please call me back later, I would be grateful!

He hangs up the phone and looks around….

We head to the parking lot where former sVo International Champion and current Presidential candidate Johnny All Star is arriving in the arena! AS All Star steps out of his black limo, he is greeted by his old friend and manager JD James.

JD James – “Hey Johnny, thanks for sorting out that little surprise for later.”

Johnny All Star smiles at JD James and nods his head.

Johnny All Star – “I take it that it that it arrived in time then. Really, it’s the least I could do with you helping me out with the election and all.”

JD James and Johnny All Star exchange a friendly handshake.

JD James – “Well it should be a big surprise, there not going to know what’s hit them!”

Johnny All Star – “Well they have been running around under the protection of Mike Best for too long around here. It time we did something for the fans to enjoy, and I am pretty sure they will enjoy this one! Speaking of Best, have you seen him here yet?”

JD James – “No one has seen him all night.”

Johnny All Star – “That’s hardly good form for someone that is supposed to be running the company now is it. Thank god that will all change on Sunday when I am elected. Today’s approval ratings suggest that I have a clear lead over Paige and Anthony.”

JD James – “I don’t doubt it Johnny, and just remember, if you need anyone else on your team for Organised Chaos I have a few more of my clients rearing to go.”

All Star and JD James exchange a knowing smile, but what is this surprise that they have in store for later tonight?

The camera crews catch up to the unknown bum as he walks up and down the hallway looking for something or someone. Every now and then he’ll open a door and barge into a locker room but after a quick scan of the room he’s back in the halls, his search continues.

“Hey buddy…” a voice calls out from behind the bum causing the bum to turn around suspiciously. The bum sees Travis Williams walking up to him in his full gear just about ready to defend his Las Vegas title. “Hey can we talk for a minute?”

“Sure…” the bum responds.

“Here let’s get out of the halls.” Travis offers before saying, “You know what they say, the halls have ears.”

The bum shrugs his shoulders as if it really mattered but follows Travis Williams back to his locker room. Before the camera crew can follow the two men into the locker room Travis holds his hand out pushing the camera back just before slamming the door in the camera’s face.

After a few minutes the door swings open and the bum walks out with a confident smirk on his face. Travis Williams walks up to the door jamb where the two men exchange a hand shake.

“I got to head back out to the parking lot,” the bum begins, “if that bitch makes it here before I get my hands on her the entire night is just a waste. I’ll catch up with you later though.”

Travis nods his head and turns back into his locker room closing the door behind him as the bum heads off down the hall towards the parking lot he just vacated moments before.

Chris Chromes vs. Sebastian St. Crux

Lights dim, as a massive bright spotlight strikes on the center of the ramp. Cigaro by Systems of a Down starts to blast all over the arena.

My Cock Is Much Bigger Than Yours
My Cock Can Walk Right Through The Door
With A Feeling So Pure
It’s Got You Screaming Back For More

Cocky One appears on the screen, as a view of a chrome rim being polished on a Porche 911 is shown. The towel is thrown, as Chris Chromes walks out. The crowd reigns in with boos, it almost drowns out the music. Chewing on some gum, fixing his hair, as he walks to the ring like he is the greatest thing ever. As he reaches the ring, he spits out his gum at some fan in the front row, and slides under the bottom rope. He stands to his feet and jumps in the air with his hands in the air. He removes his shades, and vest and hands the off.

As Clutch’s “The Mob Goes Wild” bursts into life, Sebastian St. Crux strides out confidently from the backstage area. With a smirk across his face he holds his arms out to his side, before beginning the walk down the ramp. He soon reaches the ringside area and hands his sunglasses to a fan before sliding in the ring, ready for a fight.

The bell sounds.

Both newcomers Chris Chrome and Sebastian St. Crux start this thing off by meeting in the center of the ring. They tie up. The slightly bigger in height and weight Chris Chromes pushes Sebastian St. Crux into the corner. The referee warns him as Sebastian has his hands on the ropes. He is told to back off and away and that’s what he does. The fans boo him as he taunts in front of them after breaking loose from the corner.

Sebastian St. Crux however takes advantage of this mistake as he throws a right hand followed by a European uppercut. He follows it up with a open hand chop to his chest area as well as a boot to the mid section. Sebastian now hit’s a sitout suplex slam as the fans begin to cheer him on. After hitting that maneuver he gets on top of his opponent for the cover. The referee gets down to the ring mat as fast as possible to make the count.

After Chris Chromes kicked out, Sebastian St. Crux went for a chinlock submission maneuver. Unfortunately though it back fired as Chris reversed it into a chin buster on his shoulder. Chromes would recuperate and crawl away from his adversary. Chromes now got back up to his feet and ran at Sebastian as he wrapped his leg around his own and took him straight down to the canvas from a super lightning fast and painful looking STO.

After executing that nicely we see Chris Chromes go to the very top of the turnbuckle as he looks to fly high. He jumps and leaps off as the fans boo him. He comes crashing down onto Sebastian St. Crux with that amazing shooting star leg drop he calls his finisher the Chrome Polish. Could this be it. He covers his opponent and hooks the leg as the referee takes notice and makes the count.

RESULT: Chris Chromes def. Sebastian St. Crux via pinfall

Outside the Parc des Princes in Paris, France. The setting sun shines, serving as a beautiful golden backdrop. In front of the camera, sVo interviewer, Tamara Boyd, stands microphone in hand. Next to her, dressed in full ring attire and topped, as always, with his mask is none other than former sVo Hardcore Champion, Night.

TAMARA BOYD: I’m currently standing with Night, who in one week from tonight, live from London, England, will challenge ‘The Hope’ Isaac White for the sVo International Championship. Night, tonight you face a different, and possibly a far greater challenge as you face newcomer TJS with Isaac White serving as the special guest referee. How do you feel going into tonight’s matchup?

NIGHT: Isaac White has been a thorn in my side for as long as I’ve known him. He has attacked me time and again and tonight, one week before I face him in his hometown, I find myself in a match being refereed by White – obviously I have my… reservations… with this situation, but I’ve never been one to back away from a fight.

Night shifts uncomfortably as Tamara returns the microphone to her own mouth.

TAMARA BOYD: I take it you’re not completely confident that he’ll call tonight’s match down the middle?

NIGHT: Put yourself in his position. One week removed from a title defense you have the chance to injure your challenger, or screw them out of a win. There are a lot of things he could do to weaken me going into our match next week.

TAMARA BOYD: You think he’ll capitalize on those opportunities?

Night pauses before responding, a grim tone in his voice.

NIGHT: It seems like it would be too good an opportunity to pass up. Add to that our history and I wouldn’t put it past him at all.

TAMARA BOYD: How do you prepare for something like this?

NIGHT: I’m just going to go out there fighting my hardest and I’ll have to keep an eye on the referee.

TAMARA BOYD: A less than perfect opportunity for the man known as Night, back to you, in the ring.

Sensei Shredder vs. Nathan Paradine

Operation Ground and Pound begins playing as the lights in the arena go off. A white fog lifts from the stage and bright white lights are flashing all around as the music builds. A vague figure within the fog begins to rise from the stage when the drum beats are cued. When the music slows everything goes black again. Once the fast drus beats finish and the breakdown starts, the whole arena bursts into light and the wrestler begins moving down the ramp, giving the fans his love. Once he reaches the ring, he jumps around in excitement, going to each turnbuckle raising both his fists in the air for the crowd. Music fades as he readys for his upcoming opponents.

The intro of “Joker and the Thief” blasts from the speakers, and all lights except the multicoloured lights flashing above the ring and ramp in time with the drums. A figure emerges from the darkness and into lights, as the intro ends and the lights stay a light green color. Nathan Paradine walks down to the ring, climing up the steel stairs and wiping his feet on the ring apron before climbing in between the middle and top ropes. He walks across the ring and climbs the opposite turnbuckle, holding one arm up in the air. He flings his pair of sunglasses into the crowd and jumps down, before backing off into the corner.

The bell sounds.

The bout starts up and both men make their way towards one another. Instead of a traditional tie up this time we see Sensei Shredder try and do something different for once. He extends his left arm out, his hand opened up, looking for a mercy challenge from his opponent Nathan Paradine. As Nathan looks to the fans then looks back to Sensei, he is unsure if he should go ahead with it for sure or not.

Sensei now extends his other arm out, this time the right one. The hand opens, both of them extended outward and ready for a mercy challenge. Nathan Paradine once again looks unsure of if he should go ahead and try it out. He shrugs his shoulders and goes for it anyways. He puts his hands with Sensei Shredder’s, a mercy war is going down! Who’s going to win this contest, the fans are really into it.

But no!

Sensei Shredder tricked him!

A boot to the mid section!

Sensei now whips Nathan Paradine to the corner. He rushes in at him but is back elbowed to the face. Nathan now comes rushing out with a spinning facebuster! He gets on top of his opponent now and looks to get an early advantage with a pin fall attempt. Unfortunately though, they are both tied up in the ropes and the count cannot be contested. Nathan drags him out from the ropes and hooks his leg for the cover this time.

Ref makes the count.

Sensei Shredder quickly kicks out from that maneuver.

He crawls away and into a corner where he is being stalked. Nathan Paradine goes after him but is booted to the mid section. Shredder now pushes him into the corner and begins to go all out on him with those educated martial arts kicks, punches and open hand chops! Sensei now grabs him and hit’s an arm drag take down. Nathan is back up and is then snapmared down to the canvas. Sensei gives him a huge stiff kick to the back side!

Shredder now grabs him and pulls him up. He positions him and then takes a step back. He comes forward and hit’s his finisher, The Cutter! What a super kick, that almost took his damn head off!

He gets on top of him, hooking his leg for the pin.

RESULT: Sensei Shredder def. Nathan Paradine via pinfall

One of the camera men were making their way past the dressing rooms back stage when they heard some yelling coming from one of the rooms. He made his way to the room and peeked the door open just enough to get a view inside.

Inside, Brock was slumped on a bench wishing Hooligan would shut the hell up, while Hooligan was walking back and forth trying to give his tag partner a pep talk.

Hooligan-“So, let me get this straight. Laney is in the hospital with memory loss, and you got the doctor’s turning her TV to the match tonight to stir up her memories. Well guess what? She’s not going to remember jack squat if she see’s you getting your ass handed to you. If Laney is going to remember anything, it’s going to be you out there giving those guys a beating of a life time. But your not going to be doing that being the Mr. Woe Is Me.”

A glare came over Brock’s face as suddenly out of nowhere he snapped. In one sweeping move, Brock had Hooligan by the neck, pinned to a wall.

Brock-“Don’t tell me what its like. You’ve got Cara by your side every day. I’ve got Laney who’s in the hospital and doesn’t even know who the $@%# I am. So don’t preach to me about about moping around, because I’ve got everything I need for the ring tonight.”

Brock pushed away from Hooligan, staring him straight in the eyes.

Brock-“Tonight, I’m fighting for her, tonight I’m fighting for the hope that she’ll be coming back.”

Hooligan began to grin as if he had found exactly what he wanted.

Hooligan-“Now that’s the Brock I’m looking for. Now lets kick some ass tonight. Lets do this one for Laney.”

Alistair Diablo, Chaos & Death Venom vs. Kaden Alonzo, Brock & Hooligan

“Inside The Fire” by Disturbed begins to play and Alister Diablo comes out onto the stage. He raises his arms up in an X and red pyro in the shape of an X goes off behind him. He then heads down to the ring and takes of the black shades he is wearing. He tosses them into the crowd. He walks up the steps and gets in the ring. He gets on the turnbuckle post and makes the X with his arms again.

The lights begin to dim. They then turn red as Steve Vai’s “Oooo” begins to play as Chaos heads onto the stage. He looks around. He then spits blood into the air and begins walking again. He gets into the ring and sits down in the corner.

Stricken by Disturbed Blast out of the sVo PA system. The lights turn red and blacks smoke covers everywhere and red pyro explodes on the stage. Death Venom walks through the curtians and walk onto the stage with a black trench coat on. He slowly lift up his arms and pyro explodes. DVemon starts walking and he walks own the ramp and slowly to the ring stps he walks up them and walks on the apron climbs into the ring. Death walks to the turnbuckle climbs up and raises his arms and jumps down and walks to the middle of the ring waits for his opponent.

A wall of pyros scream out diagonally from the stage as Dive by Disciple cranks out of the speakers. Brock enters the stage as the pyros fade. He continues quickly down the ramp, sliding into the ring. After a quick lap, he climbs to the second rope, throwing one finger in the air before retreating to his corner.

Everything goes dark when the sound of Rammstein’s Bück Dich hits the sound system. The screen then begins to play old highlights of matches of him. Red lights and fireworks then fill the entrance as he emerges out and makes his way down the walkway. He then takes a running start and dives onto the ring under the bottom rope and then gets to his feet.

The lights in the arena suddenly cut before a pulsating electric blue light begins to flash all around the ringside area.

Go tell that long tongue liar
Go and tell that midnight rider
Tell the rambler, the gambler, the back biter
Tell ’em that God’s gonna cut ’em down
Tell ’em that God’s gonna cut ’em down

The pulsating rhythm of “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash slowly plays over the sound system in the arena, as onto the top of the entrance stage slowly walks the ‘Cult of Kharn’. The eyes of the fans struggle to turn to Kaden Alonzo, who is followed by Arrant, Manta and Sedan, due to the flashing blue light. Kaden makes his way down the entrance ramp in time with the music. Arrant is only a few steps behind ‘The Son of Destiny’, and he is flanked by Manta and Sedan. Kaden seems to be holding his head in pain as the ‘Cult of Kharn’ stand just a few steps away from the ring. Arrant motions for Kaden to climb into the ring, however the amnesiac seems to be ensure. After a few seconds, Kaden Alonzo slowly climbs into the ring holding his head, as the blue flashing lights slowly come to an end.

With all six men in the ring, the referee calls for the bell to be rung and for the match to get underway! Chaos decides to start the match off for his team as he faces off against Brock who kicks off the match for his side. Brock and Chaos circle each other around in the ring before trying up in the center. Chaos twists Brock’s arm behind his back, however Brock counters with a back headbutt before taking down Chaos with a short arm clothesline.

Making his sVo debut, Brock nails Chaos with a one handed scoop slam as he tries to get to his feet, before dropping a leg across his opponent. Kaden Alonzo seems to be in a daze on the ring apron as Brock walks across and tags in Hooligan. Hooligan and Brock both look strangely at Kaden Alonzo who simply stares straight infront of him, before Hooligan runs across and grabs hold of Chaos as he tries to get up. Hooligan takes down Chaos with a suplex, before leaping down onto him and laying into him with some mounted punches.

These mounted punches draw the attention of Death Venom and Diablo who both try to get into the ring to help out their partner, only to be restrained by the referee. With the referee holding back Diablo and Death Venom, he doesn’t even notice as Chaos slowly rises to his feet and hits Hooligan with a low blow! Hooligan sinks to his feet as Chaos dives across and tags out to Death Venom. Death Venom quickly jumps into the ring and hammers away on Hooligan with some big right hands, before shooting him into the ropes. Death Venom looks for a back body drop as Hooligan bounces back, however he makes the move look to obvious and Hooligan counters with a swinging neckbreaker.

Hooligan moves across and makes the tag out to Brock as Kaden Alonzo watches the action on the ring apron, studying the five other men. Brock hits Death Venom with some punches to the midsection before Death Venom looks for a kick to take down Brock. However Brock manages to duck under the leg of Death Venom before catching it and tossing Death Venom across the ring with a capture suplex! Hooligan claps his partner on as Kaden and the Cult of Kharn continue to look on.

Brock quickly makes the cover on Death Venom, however he kicks out after a count of two before making the tag out to his partner Diablo. Diablo jumps straight into the ring and takes down Brock with a spear. Diablo begins to pound away on Brock with right hands, but Brock rolls through the punches and nails some right hands of his own on Diablo! Brock eventually pulls Diablo to his feet and sends him into the corner of the ring. Brock works Diablo over in the corner of the ring, but as he does Death Venom drops to the floor and grabs a chair from the fans!

Death Venom jumps into the ring, only to be cut off by a spear from Hooligan. Hooligan hammers away on Death Venom with mounted punches, before Chaos jumps in to help out his tag team partner. All hell has broken loose in the ring, but Kaden Alonzo is still standing on the ring apron, not even helping out his partners Brock and Hooligan! Chaos and Death Venom double-team Hooligan whilst Diablo ducks under the punches of Brock and pins him into the corner with right hands. The fans boo the actions of Diablo, Chaos and Venom as the referee looses all control of the match! However just as Brock and Hooligan are being overwhelmed, Arrant, the leader of the Cult of Kharn gives Kaden the nod, and makes the blind tag off of Brock before jumping into the ring!

The fans cheer as Death Venom runs at Kaden Alonzo, only for Alonzo to wipes him out with a big boot to the face! Seeing his partner go down, Chaos also makes his way towards Alonzo and tries to hit him with a clothesline, however Alonzo ducks under the clothesline before nailing him with ‘the hand of destiny’, a punch that knocks Death Venom out cold! Kaden Alonzo quickly makes his way back to the corner and pulls Diablo off of Brock before nailing him with a knee to the midsection! Diablo doubles over and Kaden Alonzo drops him with a ‘Humanity’s Saviour’! The evenflow DDT drops Diablo on the mat, and Kaden Alonzo quickly makes the cover!

This one is all over, and its Kaden Alonzo, Brock and Hooligan who run out as the winners! The referee moves across and helps Brock and Hooligan to their feet! Kaden Alonzo looks around at the fans in the arena as Brock and Hooligan have their hands raised in the air by the referee. Suddenly at ringside Arrant, the leader of the Cult of Kharn, raises his hands in the air, and Kaden Alonzo grabs hold of the steel chair that Death Venom brought into the ring! Out of no where, Kaden Alonzo slams the chair into the back of Brock’s head, and then turns and nails Hooligan with a steel chair shot! The referee looks shocked, but after taking down both his partners from being, Alonzo begins to pound away on the downed bodies of Diablo, Death Venom and Chaos! The referee calls for help as Kaden Alonzo beats the life out of the three men with the steel chair whilst wearing a blank look on his face!

RESULT: Kaden Alonzo, Hooligan & Brock def. Chaos, Death Venom and Diablo via pinfall

We go backstage where we see the lovely Tamara Boyd standing by next to the French flag and a sVo banner. She is dressed in a silky blue dress with sparkles. Tamara smiles into the camera as the producer tells her they are now LIVE!!

Tamara: We are live in Paris, France for Showdown. My guest at this time is a former hardcore champion who tonight, gets his rematch with the man he lost it too, he is the XTREME ICON PETER GILMOUR!

Peter comes into the shot in his ring gear as Rose Smith comes in wearing a white tank top with black jeans. They stand next to Tamara as the camera shows Tamara’s disgust for Peter and Rose.

Tamara: Peter, tonight you get your rematch with Joseph Equinox for the Hardcore Title. How do u feel about getting this opportunity?

Peter: How do I feel? I feel that it’s a few weeks OVERDUE! You see Tamara, Joseph STOLE my belt at Vendetta and I have chased him all the way to FRANCE to get it. I assure you that Joseph will NOT walk out of France with the Hardcore Title. He won’t be able to make it to the ring after I get through with him. When we meet in that ring, he will be broken and bloody because I will take back what I never lost and that is the sVo Hardcore Title for a second time. I will beat him him Tamara. If not then I don’t know if I can fight in the hardcore division anymore. But we shall see.

Rose: You’ll beat him baby. I know you can. Stay strong and give it all you got.

Peter smiles at his lovely girlfriend Rose.

Peter: Thanks baby. That means a lot.

Tamara then looks down, trying to remember the next question. She finally gets it and stands away from Peter but next to Rose.

Tamara: Do you think you will be picked for the Organized Chaos 3 match next Sunday at RETRIBUTION?

Peter: I don’t really care about the OC3 match to be honest with you Tamara. I’d rather shit this stupid match out. I mean who thought of this match? It is so stupid and so old. Why would anyone want to pick me when I’m probably defending my newly won Hardcore title? Oh its true! I WILL win the Hardcore Title back for the 2nd time, and I will leave Joseph Equinox in a pool of his own blood. Joseph, get ready to see your life flash between your eyes. I am taking you out and infecting you with the GILMOUR VIRUS! SO get ready Joseph to get read to be taken….

We fade out as Peter and Rose both give sadistic grins to the camera and Peter motions that the belt will be his.

Joseph Equinox (c) vs. Peter Gilmour

We are LIVE from the arena in Paris, France where we’re just moments away from the long awaited rematch for the sVo Hardcore Title pitting the champion Joseph Equinox and the former champion, Peter Gilmour. Joseph won the title from Peter at Vendetta in a 3 way match with Lou Lyons and has held the title for just over a month now. Peter is hellbent on regaining the Hardcore Title for the 2nd time here in the sVo and will do ANYTHING to get it back.

The opening riff of In This Moment’s “Daddy’s Fallen Angel” begins to play as white flashes of light accompany the drum beats. When the song picks up and the singer screams, a gigantic explosion comes from the ramp as Rose Smith comes out in a sexy black dress and does a little sexy dance for the crowd. She then looks to the entranceway and Peter Gilmour comes out in his traditional black cloak with “XTREME” on the back. The song speeds up a little and Peter and Rose head down to the ring. Rose gets on the apron and does another sexy dance for the crowd as Peter gets into the ring. He goes to the center and waits as Rose does a sexy crawl to her man. When she reaches her man, Peter throws up an “X” as fire emits from the turnbuckles. Rose stands up and kisses her man on the lips as they wait their next challenger.

“Open Your Eyes” By Guano Apes begins to play. Smoke begins to fill the chaos the lights dim to near darkness. A beam of bright white light shines from the stage. As the light begins to dim, Joseph Equinox can be seen standing at the top of the stage with smoke floating all around him. Equinox moves to the top of the ramp and stops before he flails his arms out to the side of him and a pyro lightning bolt fies down and strikes him. The spotlights loom over where Equinox was standing but he is no longer there. All of a sudden 4 more lighting bolts crash down on each corner of the ring and the arena lights change to a dark blue. And there standing in the ring is Equinox with smoke now floating around the ring. Joseph Equinox then looks up the ramp and takes off his shades as he awaits his opponent Bell Rings

We are underway in this one fall bout for the sVo Hardcore title. Both men circle each other for a while. The crowd is hot and awaiting to see who will win this great match. After some stalling, Peter steps up to Joseph and slaps him in the face.

Joseph is holding his face as Peter laughs and celebrates. But his celebration is cut short as Joseph hits Peter with a hard right hand that floors the challenger. Joe goes on the offensive with some stiff kicks to the chest and back of Peter, who wisely goes outside to catch a breather. He goes over to Rose as she consoles her man and whispers something in his ear.

Peter’s eyes light up and he heads back into the ring, only to be met with more right hands and a kick to the gut which floors Gilmour. Joseph picks up Peter and slams him hard on the canvas. Joe starts to mock Peter as the French fans boo loudly. Joe flips them off and goes back on the attack. He picks up Peter by the head and sends him to the ropes. But on the way back, Joe telegraphs a high back body drop and Peter hits a HHH-like face buster. Joe grabs his face in pain but Peter hits a wicked clothesline which almost takes Joseph’s head off. The crowd goes nuts as Rose smiles and claps her hands.

Peter goes for the cover but gets barely a 1 count. Peter on the offensive now with some clubbing blows to Joseph’s back. He throws Joseph to the ropes and hits a sick looking spinebuster and covers again but somehow Joseph kicks out at 2. Rose is pissed off and gives it to the referee but the referee says 2! Peter gets upset and goes outside to get some weapons. We see a shopping cart full of weapons like kendo sticks, hockey stick, a bowling ball, a trash can and a barbed wire bat. Peter takes out the hockey stick and does a few practice swings.

Joseph seems dazed and Peter runs and hits Joseph in the back with the stick which in the NHL would get him 2 minutes for cross checking. Joseph spills onto the floor as Rose Smith gives him some stiff kicks and takes her heel and digs it into the head of the champion. Peter laughs wickedly as he goes to the outside. Peter grabs a kendo stick and whacks Joseph in the back with it. Joseph screams in pain as he holds his back. Peter throws up an “X” as the crowd gives Peter a mixed reaction now. Peter picks up Joseph and tries to send him into the retaining wall, but Joseph reverses and Peter smacks shoulder first into the steel steps. Rose tries to hit a low blow on Joseph, but the champion sees the move and grabs her wrist.

Rose tries for a slap to the face but Joseph grabs her other hand as then proceeds to throw her in the ring as the camera shows Rose’s black thong which gives the crowd in France a nice view. Rose slithers back to get away from Joseph. Joseph doesn’t care though and picks her up and his about to hit his finisher called, The Digital Code Neck Breaker, but out of nowhere Peter smacks Joseph in the back with a steel chair. Joseph lets go of Rose as she goes to the floor. Peter waits for Joe and screams “FUCK YOU!” to Joe and delivers the most lethal chair shot ever to Joseph’s skull. Joseph crumbles like the Twin Towers as blood begins to pour out of his head at a rapid pace. Peter looks at the chair which is now broken beyond repair. Peter goes for the cover.

Peter picks the limp body of Joseph Equinox up and tells the ref “I’m not done with this prick yet.” Peter picks up Joseph and slams him to the ground. He then goes outside and gets a table and slides it into the ring. He then puts it up in the middle of the ring and picks Joseph up. Looking to end it with the GILMOUR CUTTER, Peter jumps but Joseph somehow throws Peter off but Peter misses the table completely. Joseph moves the table and grabs the kendo stick Peter left on the apron. Rose is screaming for Peter to get up, but as Peter gets up, Joseph smashes Peter in the gut with the kendo stick doubling Peter over. Joseph now with the momentum sends Peter into the ropes and hits a snap powerslam and goes for the cover.

NO! Peter gets the shoulder up! What a match this is! Joseph can’t believe it and then picks Peter up and signals for the end. He sets up the table and then picks Peter up and is about to go for a powerbomb through the table. Joseph picks Peter up and has him in position. But as Joseph is about to drive Peter through the table, Peter in mid-air wiggles free and hits the GILMOUR CUTTER THROUGH THE TABLE!! Both men are down! Peter starts to move and puts a hand over Joseph’s seemingly broken body.

The crowd and Peter cannot believe it! How did Joseph kick out. Peter slams his hands on the canvas and gets upset. He then does the cut-throat slash across his throat and picks Joseph’s limp body up and puts turns him around but holding his neck almost in a Dragon Sleeper. Peter yells and picks Joseph up in a reverse suplex position, but then turns Joseph around and goes for the FINAL CUT but instead Joseph Equinox blocks it with his hands as he now backs up a bit, grabs the head of Peter and nails the Digital Code Neck breaker!

He gets on top of Peter and hooks his leg for the pin fall.

RESULT: Joseph Equinox def. Peter Gilmour via pinfall

Joseph Equinox staggers backstage after the brutal title defence against Peter Gilmour just moments ago. Equinox looks to be limping slightly as he makes his way through the sVo corridors, but he is still clutching the sVo Hardcore Championships in his hands. Equinox looks to be making his way to his locker room, however as he does he is stopped in his tracks by the slow sound of clapping. What is that noise? Equinox looks around but there seems to be no one in sight.

Is someone hiding or is it just a glitch in the matrix?

Equinox carries on walking, until out of a doorframe further out of the corridor steps Johnny All Star, and the Presidential candidate seems to be clapping as he approaches Joseph Equinox.

Equinox – “You seem very happy about something?”

All Star nods his head as he hands Equinox a ‘Vote Johnny!’ campaign leaflet.

All Star – “What’s not to be happy about, I am going to win the election on Sunday, and if that wasn’t enough I am going to have my team win the Organised Chaos match on Sunday as well!”

Equinox – “And what makes you so sure about that?”

All Star – “Well I just saw your performance out there, and I would like to offer you a place on my team. What do you say, you fancy being on the winning team in the biggest match in sVo history?”

Equinox looks down at his Hardcore Championship, before smiling and nodding his head.

Equinox – “I’m in.”

Equinox shakes hands with the presidential candidate Johnny All Star as we head to a commercial.

The cameras catch up with the bum one final time, as he sits with his back to the wall next to the back entrance of the arena. He’s seen wrestlers come and go but it looks like his wait is finally over as a black stretch limousine pulls up. The chauffer jumps out from behind the wheel and runs around the limo to the passenger door, opening in a prompt timely manner. A woman steps out talking on her Blue Tooth ear piece.

“About time…” the bum says under his breath as he slowly climbs up to his feet.

The woman takes one look at the bum and stops dead in his tracks. “I gotta let you go…” she says to whoever’s on the other end of the line before disconnecting the call. She walks up to the bum with a smug ‘I’m better than you’ look on his face. “Why if it isn’t Hostility’s own, Mad fucking Max…”

“Paige…” Max growls with his teeth clenched as he steps forward from the wall to stand chest to chest with the sVo Presidential candidate not backing down an inch.

Paige reaches up and wipes the air in front of her nose hinting at the foul odour coming off of the bum as she asks, “What are you doing here?”

“Slumming…” Max responds with sarcasm deep in his voice. “What’s it look like?”

Paige simply smiles as she says, “So you flew all the way out here to Paris just to “slum”? No my ‘friend’ I think you’ve got more on your mind and I think I know what it is…”

Max doesn’t respond leaving Paige to smile even wider knowing Max wasn’t just in the neighbourhood and decided to drop by… “I’ve heard the rumblings… The rumours… Not many people seem to care but the two or three that do can’t stop blogging about how Hostility’s gone belly up!”

Max tenses up with his fists clenching up at his sides but that just causes Paige to laugh even more. “I guess you boys couldn’t handle the ass whooping my boys gave you at Hostile Violence could you? Now here we are, me about to go run a successful promotion and you crawling on your hands and knees begging me for a job!”

Max doesn’t even offer a response causing Paige to shrug her shoulders and turn towards the doors. As she walks up to the door and reaches out for the handle Max is left with a tough decision to make. “Paige…” Max says under his breath.

Paige turns around with a grin ear to ear waiting to hear Max beg for a job.

“I’d really like…” Max begins to say in his nicest, most civil voice possible.

But Paige stops him with a wave of her hand. “You must not have heard me… You see you’re supposed to be on your hands and knees remember?”

Max growls with his teeth clenched once but after a few seconds he begins to lower himself to the ground. He is kneeling on both knees with his hands clasped together while Paige stands there basking in the sight of his former rival.

“I’d really like…” Max begins to say through gritted teeth. “I’d really like… I’d really like you to go fuck yourself!”

With that said Max jumps to his feet and charges towards Paige, chasing her through the doors of the arena. Mad Max runs after Paige when all of a sudden Scott Love and a number of his security guards come rushing out to their bosses rescue. Scott Love’s security guards begin to drag Mad Max away kicking and screaming. Scott Love meanwhile has Paige in bear hug holding her back as Paige is screaming with spit flying with ever word!

“I hate you!” Paige screams out!

The cameras fade away with a shot of Max being carried away with that smirk on his face.

Travis Williams (c) vs. Blaze

The arena lights dim, and begin to flash orange and blue as flames appear flickering on the video screen. “We Takin’ Over” starts to play, as a huge pyro explosion happens on stage, BlaZe appears behind the flames pointing to the crowd.

Wearing a jersey from one of the city’s sports teams (customized with a player name), as well as a fitted cap of the home team. Walking to the ring he high fives fans, before sliding in and climbing the turnbuckle, to again point and signal to the fans. He pulls a sharpie from his pocket, autographs the jersey and throws it into the crowd before jumping down and preparing to warm up for the match.

The sounds of funeral music blares on the sound system, as the organ streams. Suddenly the lights go completely out, as a guitar over takes it, and the drums come bashing in. The lights on the stage start to flicker in the beat, as the loud screams echoes across the arena.

“Shh be quiet, you might piss somebody off
Like me motherfucker, you’ve been at it for too long
While you feed off others insecurities
You stand in front of me and bite the hand that feeds “

Critical Acclaim by Avenge 7 Fold starts to blare out across the arena, as Travis Williams walks out to the top of the sVo ramp. His trench coat almost dragging the metal ramp, as he lifts back his hood, and walks down the isle in a slow manger. He circles around the ring, reaching the steel steps, as he walks up to the top of the last step. The lights in the arena return to normal, as:

“So how does it feel to know that someones kid in the heart of America Has blood on their hands, fighting to defend your rights So you can maintain the lifestyle that insults this family’s existence Well, where I’m from we have a special salute we aim high in the air Towards all those pompous assholes who spend their days pointing fingers

Fuck you”

Travis removes his trench coat, handing it off to someone at ringside. He grabs the top rope, and guides his way up to the apron, and towards the center of the ring. He looks up at the ramp, as he wipes his boots on the apron, and steps in between the top and middle rope. He walks over to a corner, as he awaits the referee to check him, and for the opening bell.

Travis walks to the center of the ring, unsnapping the championship from his waist. He hands it off to the referee, who folds the sides in, and shows it off to the crowd, and to the challenger. He passes the belt off to the time keeper, as he signals if both men are ready. Each nod, as he calls for the bell sling his right hand.

Travis and Blaze circle the ring, meeting in the center with a collar and elbow tie up. Both men struggle for a power gain, as Travis throws his right knee into the canvas, for an extra source of strength, sending Blaze flying to the mat ass first as Travis springs up. Blaze looks at the champion, as he pulls himself up by the ropes. He shakes his head, as they circle the ring again, coming in closer to one another. Both men step in for the lock up, but Travis greets his challenger with a knee to the abs, followed by a massive forearm club like blow to the upper back region. The echo stretches across the arena, as the champ guides him back into the corner. Travis fires a knife edge chop to the bare chest of Blaze, and follows it up with a second. The referee orders them out the corner.

Travis grabs the arm, and Irish whips Blaze into the opposing corner. Travis waits for a second, as Blaze connects in the corner. Travis rushes with a clothesline, but Blaze rolls out the way, as the champ crashes hard into the corner. Blaze quickly turns him around, driving the toe of his boot into the abs of the champ. One after another follow, as the referee forces him to backup as Travis is in a seated position in the corner.

Using force, the referee pulls Blaze, warning him of the illegal corner use, and threats to call the match if he fails to follow orders. Blazes starts to stalk Travis, as he slowly approaches the corner. He lends down to grab Travis, but instantly, the ring veteran grabs the tights of the rookie, and sends him through the middle rope, crashing to the floor head first.

Travis rolls under the bottom rope, meeting Blaze on the outside. Travis grabs the challenger and lifts him to his feet, to unwrap the bandage on his head. The champ decides to wrap the bandage around the neck of the challenger, choking him. (1) Travis with bandage in hand, slams Blaze face first into the ring apron. (2) Travis follows up with another one, attempting to bust open the challenger’s wound. (3) The challenger barely standing, is in a daze, as the cut starts to bleed, as it is being forced open. (4) The champ backs up, aiming the challenger up. (5) Travis rushes in, jumping with a Mafia Kick straight in face of the challenger, busting open the challenger fully. (6) Travis throws him back into the ring, and follows him. Travis rolls Blaze to his back, and hooks a leg. Referee slides into position…

Blaze kicked out before a the referee’s hand could hit the mat for a third time.

Travis, with Blaze over him, shakes his head in disbelief. The champ gets to his feet, picking up his challenger. He takes back into the corner. Travis backs up some, and rushes in with a boot to the face. Blaze dodges out the way, as the champ hangs himself over the top rope. The crowd strongly behind the young challenger, attempts to revive him for a second wind.

Blaze slowly pulls himself up by the ropes, in a crimson mask, he spits the blood from his mouth, and screams, as the crowd goes wild in approval. Blaze finally to his feet, stagers towards the champ. Bringing him out of the corner, he hooks him and quickly snaps him over for a suplex. He stagers back to his feet, and points to the corner, and the fans cheer. Blaze mounts the top rope, leaping off with leg drop, connecting across the throat of the champ. Blaze quickly rolls into the pinning position, hooking the leg. Referee in spot, checks the shoulders…

Travis powers out of the pinning predicament.

Blaze stands back to his feet, and picks up the champion. attempt at an Irish whip, reverse, as Travis catches him on the return on his side. He steps forward and than circles around and drops him with a side walk slam. The champion stagers up, shaking off the cob webs. The challenger is down, as the champ picks him up and sets him in the corner. He lifts him up, and sets him on the top rope. He attempts to follow, but Blaze kicks him the face, sending the champ off the ropes. Blaze perch on the ropes, Travis up to his feet. Blaze leaps off with a cross flying body press. The champion catches him, swings him around and drops on his knee with a Catatonic Back Breaker. Travis quickly hooks both legs, as the referee slides in.

Ring Announcer – Here is your winner and still Las Vegas Champion, TRAVIS WILLIAMSSSSSS!

Travis is handed the belt, as he looks down at the challenger who is still losing blood. Travis raises the belt over his head as the crowd gives a mix reaction to his victory.

RESULT: Travis Williams def. Blaze via pinfall

As Paige wondered about the backstage area of Showdown, she knew that he had to do something big tonight to make sure that she won the election next Sunday at Redemption and walked out as the first ever President of the sVo. Already everyone was talking about the giant cage that was hanging from the top of the arena tonight, and she knew that it had to be a publicity stunt by one of the other nominees in the campaign. Sure she had been the one to book the controversial Organised Chaos match at Redemption, but things like that did not stick long in the minds of the voters. They only remembered what had happened recently, and for that reason Paige had to come up with something, and quick.

Spotting the new Las Vegas Champion further down the corridor, the wheels in Paige’s head began to turn. What better way to get noticed by the voters than have a winning team in the Organised Chaos match against one of her rivals? Paige had already recruited the Evolution Cup winner to her team, if she could get the Las Vegas Champion as well then victory would be almost assured.

Paige slowly began to walk down the corridor towards Travis Williams in a confident manor. Williams was wearing a blue suit and had his Las Vegas Championship belt connected around his waist. Williams immediately spotted Paige coming and gave the sVo Presidential candidate an icy stare.

Paige – “Hey Travis, congratulations on the win last week.”

Travis Williams looked at Paige for a few seconds, seemingly assessing her motives.

Travis Williams – “Thanks”

Paige was slightly under whelmed by the luck lustre response from the new Las Vegas Champion, she was used to people kissing up to her in order to get ahead here in the sVo.

Paige – “I have a great opportunity I would like to give you so you could follow up on your great achievement last week, how would you like to be on my team in Sunday’s Organised Chaos match?”

Surprisingly to Paige, Travis Williams stopped and began to ponder the offer. Paige had thought that Williams would jump at the chance to be in such a big match at the PPV, but the new Las Vegas Champion seemed unsure.

Paige – “We already have Noir signed up to our team.”

Paige’s last sales pitch seemed to have sealed it for Williams, as he nodded his head.

Travis Williams – “Ok, I’m in.”

Paige was delighted as she reached her hand out to shake that of Travis Williams, but she was not ready for the conditions that were to be attached by the Las Vegas Champion.

Travis Williams – “But if you want my vote in this election then I need you to do ME a favour. Pick these people on your Organised Chaos team as well, victory will be assured if you do.”

Travis Williams gently leaned in and whispered the names in Paige’s ear. Paige didn’t look delighted about being told who to pick on her team, but if it meant that she would win on Sunday, she was prepared to bite the bullet and do what ever it took.

Backstage at Parc des Princes, Paris. The marshaling area behind the wrestlers’ entrance to the arena floor bustles with activity as crew members, wrestlers, fans and journalists rush about busily. A familiar figure leans against a wall to the side of the space – wearing a white top hat and a referee shirt, ‘The Hope’ Isaac White smiles to himself awaiting his sVo refereeing debut.

White turns his head to the side and immediately comes face to face with his rival, Night.

WHITE: Evening, Nighty – ready for your match?

NIGHT: Don’t start with me.

Night advances menacingly on White who looks at him sympathetically but doesn’t budge an inch.

NIGHT: I don’t know who’s arm you twisted to wind up out there refereeing my match but I’m here to warn you anyway, that you had better call this one fairly and down the middle.

WHITE: Sorry, boy, but you’re in no position to warn me of anything. You lay a finger on me out there and I’ll disqualify you before you can say ‘I’m dreaming…’

NIGHT: Watch yourself, Isaac.

White glowers at Night who now stands mere inches from his face, the two bitter enemies staring eye to eye.

WHITE: I tried to bury the hatchet, mate, you wouldn’t drop it. I tried to move on, I don’t want to hurt you anymore than I already have, but you just don’t stay…

He smiles as he pauses, the next word rolling off his tongue.

WHITE: … cured.

Night’s jaw clenches tightly as neither man moves.

WHITE: I’ve offered peace, Night, tonight I promise I will call the match fairly. You’ll get your precious rematch with me next week.

Hearing the words from Isaac seems to stun Night slightly as he backs away slightly.

NIGHT: I’ll be watching you, Isaac.

WHITE: Wrong. It’s my job to watch you tonight – you’d better keep your eyes on TJS tonight or you’ll be staring at stars alright.

In the background a whisper can be heard from the arena PA – it is Night’s voice:

“I’m dreaming…”

WHITE: That’s your cue, run along now.

Night glowers again at Isaac as he backs towards the entranceway, before finally turning and striding quickly towards it as the opening chords of “Knife Party” by Deftones can be heard in the distance.

WHITE: Lighten up, kid.

Night vs. TJS

The distant chords of Deftones’ “Knife Party” cut through the PA as the arena lights cut completely. The Tron sparks to life as the words “I’m dreaming…” float onto it. As the song errupts the words are replaced by one.

A name.

” N I G H T “

An explosion of purple light as a man in a black mask appears. At least, the mask appears black at first, but on closer inspection it appears to be made of the night sky. The mask does not entirely cover the man’s head and a head of black dreadlocks stream out, tracing the man’s jaw.

The man stands at the top of the entrance ramp – where normally he would stand motionless, a true enigma, tonight Night seems extremely agitated and looks anxiously over his shoulder at something… or someone, backstage. As the music swirls away, the man only known as Night begins his walk to the ring – only, he doesn’t walk, it appears more of a graceful glide. Although he moves seemlessly, he moves deceptively quickly to the ring, sliding deliberately and headfirst into the ring where he uncharacteristically bounces on the spot.

All I’ve ever wanted was destiny to be fulfilled
It is in my hands, I must not fail, I must not fail

Even through the darkest days
This fire burns always
This fire burns always

This is the broken ground
Misery begins to rise
Turn away from yesterday
Tomorrow’s in my eyes

Nevermore to be held down
By the wings against me
Nevermore to be cast aside
This day is mine

This Fire Burns by Killswitch Engage plays and the fans stand up and cheer as loud as they can. TJS walk onto the stage with a smirk on his face he stops and looks on each side of the arena and crosses his arms on his chest looks down closes his eyes and quickly spread out his arm doing rock on taunt and pyrotechnic explodes. The fans go crazy and TJS get ready to run down ramp and he goes full blast down ramp. TJS slides into the ring and stands up runs to the turnbuckle climbs up and looks at the members of the crowd and lift his arm doing Rock on taunt. TJS lean forward and jump does a back flip off turnbuckle. TJS walks to the ropes takes off his shirt and throws it into the crowd and they fight for it. TJS walks to the center of the ring and waits for the start of the match.

Blackness. A piercing light falls upon the stage as ‘Requiem’ can be heard distantly in the background, gradually becoming louder and louder.

A purple mist slowly begins to unravel down the aisle, creeping across the floor in a hypnotic display of twisting, serpentine tendrils.

By this point, ‘Requiem’ is playing in full force, and “The Hope” Isaac White steps out into the spotlight, leaning on his cane with one hand and pulling his hat down low with the other, International Championship gleaming across his chest. And, marking his role in tonight’s match – a black and white striped referee’s shirt.

White basks in the warm glow of the spotlight momentarily before flicking the brim of his hat up and walking down to the ring, twirling his cane in one hand. He taps his cane on the steel steps and ascends them one step at a time. He wipes his feet on the apron and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, lowering his head and allowing his hat to roll down his arm before catching it in his hand and holding it up, with his cane in the opposite hand. White and Night lock eyes and glare intently at each other, before remembering tonight they are not opponents – tonight, Isaac is the referee.

After this display, White jumps from the turnbuckle into the ring and begins to shed his entrance clothing, preparing for the task at hand. Calling for the bell, Isaac signals that the match is underway. The fresh and eager TJS drops into an aggressive stance and begins to circle out of his corner, moving clockwise around the ring. Night, meanwhile, stands perfectly still in his corner, obviously not too comfortable with the choice of official in this bout. Isaac, seeing the effect his presence is having on his rival, smiles and indicates Night towards TJS.

Slowly Night turns to face TJS, and is caught completely off guard with a hard crescent kick to the face. The masked man’s head snaps back and he drops to the mat, TJS jumping on him immediately for the pin, Isaac promptly dropping to the mat to count it!

Night kicks out at two and sits up, stunned. TJS wastes no time in pulling Night to his feet by the mask and peppering him twice in the chest with front kicks. Night reels from these shots and TJS gives him no time to breathe, blasting him in the rib cage with three hard knee lifts, before proceeding to Irish whip the masked man across the ring. Night hits the far ropes and returns towards the TJS, who drives his foot into Night’s face once more with a spinning roundhouse kick which sends Night backflipping to the mat.

The crowd let out a collective, sympathetic groan for Night who clutches at his masked face on the mat. TJS wastes no time and executes a standing moonsault onto the masked man, hooking his leg for the pin.

Again Night kicks out at two, sitting straight up but having to support himself with a hand. TJS stands and immediately drops Night out of his seated position with a front dropkick. The former Hardcore Champion hits the mat hard and groggily begins to crawl towards the ropes, grabbing hold of the bottom rope and starting to pull himself back to his feet. Already on his feet and spotting his opponent rising to his feet across the ring, TJS stands waiting as Night unsteadily releases the top rope, before turning straight into a spinning back kick courtesy of TJS, followed quickly by a left and right hook, and a dropkick straight after sends Night crashing back to the mat.

Out of instinct, Night begins to crawl towards the nearest turnbuckles. Seeing Night’s positioning, TJS grins and moves into the opposite corner from the one Night slowly begins to use for support in finding his feet. His balance clearly off, Night stumbles, but manages to grab the top turnbuckle, turning and leaning his back against it. His opponent in position, TJS charges across the ring, flying with a knee towards Night’s head… only for the masked man to drop out of the way at the last possible moment. The crowd groan as TJS sits awkwardly on the top turnbuckle. Shaking out the cobwebs as best he can, Night spots TJS’s precarious situation and wearily stumbles onto the ring apron, moving towards his opponent and pulling back on the top rope, springing up onto it and flipping forwards off it – grabbing TJS around the waist on his way down…

… and driving TJS back first into the mat with a HUGE springboard sunset flip-bomb! TJS writhes in pain, but Night is unable to capitalize as he lies motionless on the mat from the effort of that last move and the collective damage sustained from TJS’s barrage in the early goings in the match.

Isaac stares at the two competitors, not quite sure of what to do. He looks from competitor to competitor, but neither seems to be getting up. He shrugs and starts a ten-count!

TJS rolls onto his front and pushes himself onto his hands and knees.

Across the ring, Night reaches the ropes and again uses them to start to pull himself to his feet.

TJS manages to plant one foot solidly on the ground.

Night reaches for the top rope as TJS stands, breaking the count. Night turns slowly and is met with a hard crescent kick to the ribs. TJS follows up with a second kick, but Night manages to sidestep it, grabbing TJS by the ankle and tripping him to the mat, before rolling into a reverse crucifix kneebar!

The masked man wrenches back on TJS’s knee as the martial artist cries out in pain. White promptly asks if TJS would like to give up, and receives an assertive “NO!” as the response.

Fighting towards the ropes, TJS stretches an arm out, his fingers coming only inches short of reaching the ropes! Seeing his opponent getting close to breaking the hold, Night applies the pressure and attempts to slow TJS’s progress. Still TJS fights forwards, the masked man trying to slow his progress every inch of the way. TJS throws his arm out and his fingers brush the ropes – he doesn’t manage to grab hold of them though and Night again increases the pressure. Letting out a loud yell, TJS swings his free foot towards Night and stuns the masked man as he connects the edge of his foot to Night’s face. Night releases the pressure just enough for TJS to slip forwards and grab hold of the ropes. Isaac begins the five count, but Night breaks just before two, rolling backwards and staggering to his feet. Able to breathe and compose himself for the first time this match, Night eyes White suspiciously.

TJS grips his knee and manages to crawl to the nearest set of turnbuckles, where he leans against the bottom turnbuckle. Night immediately moves towards his downed opponent, checking over his shoulder towards Isaac every couple of steps. He reaches TJS and boots him in the midsection, pulling TJS to his feet. Night pushes TJS back against the top turnbuckle, but paranoia grips him once more, and again he checks over his shoulder towards White. The momentary distraction is enough for TJS to grab hold of Night, swing him around and push him against the turnbuckle instead. He steps back and thrusts a kick into Night’s jaw, sending the masked man reeling back against the turnbuckle. TJS follows by a second, similar kick, drawing the same result. Backing up into the ring, TJS again charges forwards, throwing a knee towards Night’s head with another shining wizard attempt, this one connecting!

The man from Kyoto’s head snaps back and he slumps forwards into the ring as TJS withdraws his knee. Immediately, TJS climbs to the top rope and perches above a prone Night, before standing and leaping off, connecting with a huge 450 splash across the chest of Night! He hooks the leg and White dives in for the count!

Night manages to kick out and TJS slaps the mat in frustration. Night lies motionless on the mat as TJS gathers his thoughts across the ring. A plan of action in mind, TJS moves to Night, who has managed to make his way to a crawl and hoists him to his feet, before unceremoniously shoving him back into the turnbuckle and unleashing a vicious kick to Night’s midsection. He follows with a left knee to Night’s ribs and backs up as Night begins to topple from his feet, catching him on the way down with a vicious roundhouse kick to the face. Night rolls on the mat, clutching at his face as TJS signals for the Cobra Vise! He grabs hold of Night’s arm, but is caught unaware as Night flips forwards, driving both of his feet into TJS’s jaw, sending the larger man stumbling back.

TJS staggers to a knee as Night unsteadily closes in, driving a hard knee into his chest and planting TJS with a rolling double-underhook DDT – Sandman DDT! Feeding off momentum, Night manages to find his footing and is able to stand waiting as TJS manages to stand and unknowingly turns towards Night, who scoops him onto his shoulders for The Dreaming. He holds TJS in a standing fireman’s carry, but seems unable to hold the larger TJS as he struggles to break free. Managing to slip over Night’s shoulder, TJS hooks him in a front facelock and falls back, drilling Night with a DDT. The crowd cheer a great reversal and TJS seems to be pumped up as he plays to them. Night manages to find his footing, but stumbles straight into the clutches of TJS, who signals for the Death Shock!

However, before he can act on this, Night sends TJS crashing back to a knee with a close-range front dropkick to the chest. TJS seems stunned as Night charges at him, leaping into the air and driving his right knee into the temple of TJS with a shining wizard! Looking to the nearest turnbuckle, Night runs at it, springing onto the top turnbuckle with assistance from the top rope, before turning to face the downed TJS. The crowd erupt and a sea of flashbulbs go off as Night leaps high into the air, traveling forwards, but flipping backwards and crashing down onto TJS’s chest with a SSP! He hooks TJS’s leg and, to the surprise of everyone, including Night, White drops straight down to count the pin!

White leaps to his feet and signals for the bell, before barking instructions and pointing to the timekeeper. TJS groggily rolls out of the ring after a hard-fought match as Night stands and eyes White suspiciously.

RESULT: Night def. TJS via pinfall

The timekeeper reaches the ring, handing Isaac the sVo International Championship, his cane and a microphone. White drapes the title proudly over his shoulder and smirks as he notices Night’s gaze immediately fall on it. He takes his cane in his right hand and the microphone in his left and makes his way towards Night.

WHITE: Great match, mate! You left it all in the ring and… I kept up my end of the bargain… I called that one fairly and down the middle.

Night nods slightly to indicate his acknowledgement of this.

WHITE: So, I’ve extended the olive branch to you and here we stand speaking civilly.

Night indicates that this may be the case due to the fact that he has no microphone.

WHITE: Regardless of that, I’d like to know we’re on the same page. I want to know who I’m facing next week. Here.

White outstretches his arm towards Night, offering his cane to the masked man. Night cautiously accepts and inspects the cane suspiciously.

WHITE: What will you do?

To the shock of everyone, Night included, Isaac drops the microphone and slowly turns his back on Night and stands, motionless. Night stares, stunned, at the back of Isaac’s head and, for a moment, his eyes fall to the cane in his hand. White remains motionless as Night draws back his arms, preparing to strike him down – only to hesitate at the last moment and pull away. He seems to debate it for a few more seconds before crying out in a rage and swinging the cane hard at White’s back.

The impact is instant as White drops to the mat – the crowd providing a loud mixed response, some rain boos on Night for his attack while others cheer him loudly for striking back at White.

Seeming to be torn on his own feelings towards his actions, Night drops the cane abruptly beside White and pauses as something catches his eye. A brilliant golden gleam. As if in a dream, Night bends to the ground and scoops the shining golden belt from the mat. It illuminates his fixated face as he stares at it’s surface, rubbing the main plate in awe. And then, remembering the situation at hand, Night drops the title back to the mat before turning and exiting the ring. Several referees rush the ring where the downed Isaac slowly begins to stir.

He climbs to his feet, leaning heavily on two referees and glares up the entrance ramp at the masked man who backs up the ramp – the two never breaking eye contact.

Travis Williams is sitting in his locker room, talking to Noir. When a vibration comes on his cell, alerting him. He looks down, and sees he has one miss call and voice mail.

Noir – You going to check it?

Travis Williams – Nah, it can wait. We other business to tend with. I wanted to stop by and congratulate on your recent win against sVo champion,

Noir – Thank you Travis. Impress Las Vegas Title capture you had.

Travis Williams – Luck man, does not happen often. I’ve got to go man, keep what I said in mind. And maybe we can do coffee or something next week.

Travis exits the locker room, fishing his cell phone out on his way out.

Backstage we join up with Candi Cross, who is standing by with Presidential candidate Anthony Moretti. Moretti is wearing casual clothes, defiantly not the look of a man trying to tie up votes before next weeks election.

Candi Cross – “Anthony, next week is the big election to find the first president of the sVo, you seem remarkably calm about the whole situation.”

Anthony Moretti – “And why wouldn’t I be?”

Candi Cross – “Well All Star and Paige have made strong campaigns and are also picking their teams for the Organised Chaos match later. The polls also show you well behind in the ratings.”

Moretti smiles as he dismisses the comments of Candi Cross.

Anthony Moretti – “I never listen to the papers Candi, and All Star and Paige might have Chris Bond running around spying for them…. But who is to say I am not going to drop a bombshell of my own this Sunday at Retribution?”

Anthony Moretti winks at Candi Cross before exiting the interview area.

Alex Ross & Kelly Flawless vs. Gunner Lang & Chris Bond

The two teams stare each other down from across the ring as Alex Ross and Kelly Flawless stand united against their opponents for tonight and tag team partners Chris Bond and Gunner Lang. The two men under the guidance of manager JD James seem to have a knowing look in their eye as they stare down Ross and Flawless. Ross and Flawless slowly begin to make their way towards Gunner and Bond, however at they do the cage from the top of the ceiling begins to lower! The sold out French crowd cheer as Alex Ross and Kelly Flawless stare up at the descending cage in disbelief. It seems that JD James has pulled some strings with Presidential candidate Johnny All Star and made this tag team match a cage tag team match!

The cage finally reaches the bottom of the ring and Lang and Bond spring into action with right hands on Ross and Flawless! Ross and Flawless are knocked backwards by the punches from Bond and Gunner Lang, before Gunner Lang takes down Alex Ross with a clothesline. On the opposite side of the ring Chris Bond has backed Kelly Flawless into the corner of the ring and is laying into him with huge right and left hands in the corner. Gunner Lang pulls Alex Ross back up to a standing position, however Alex Ross cuts off the tag team champion with some punches to the midsection.

Gunner Lang stumbles backwards under the force of the punches before Alex Ross hits Lang with a kick to the midsection. Lang doubles over and the former International Champion Ross takes him down with a twisting neck breaker. As Gunner Lang lays on the mat and Alex Ross slowly rises to his feet, Chris Bond grabs hold of Kelly Flawless and slams him face first into the steel cage! Kelly Flawless reels away holding his face in his hands, however Chris Bond shows no mercy as the secret agent of the sVo runs behind Flawless and takes him down with a chop block across the back of his legs.

The fans cheer as Chris Bond stomps down on the body of Kelly Flawless before eventually allowing him back to his feet. Kelly Flawless throws a wild punch in the direction of Chris Bond, but Bond ducks the punch and hits Flawless with a German suplex! Chris Bond rises up to his feet looking very pleased with himself, but as he does Alex Ross grabs Bond from behind and takes him down to the mat with a face slam! The fans boo the actions of the former International Champion, but as Chris Bond rises to his feet Alex Ross grabs him in a front face lock before throwing him down to the mat with a snap suplex.

Alex Ross rises to his feet and knocks down Chris Bond with a clothesline as he tries to rise to his feet. Kelly Flawless slowly begins to rise to his feet, however as he does Gunner Lang runs through Alex Ross and Kelly Flawless and knocks both men down with a double clothesline! The fans cheer the move from Gunner Lang, who becomes the last man standing in the cage! With all of his opponents down on the mat as well as his partner, Gunner Lang begins to climb the side of the cage to freedom! Gunner Lang quickly reaches the top of the cage, before jumping down off of the side to the floor. With Gunner Lang on the outside of the cage, Chris Bond slowly begins to rise up to his feet in the middle of the cage!

Gunner Lang shouts encouragement to Chris Bond as he stumbles towards the side of the cage and begins to climb! Can Chris Bond get to the outside of the cage and win the match for the team? Chris Bond gets halfway up the cage, but as he does Kelly Flawless grabs hold of Bond and pulls him down back into the cage! Flawless takes Bond down with a clothesline as Alex Ross also begins to rise up to his feet. Alex Ross and Kelly Flawless both begin to put the boots into Chris Bond, and with Gunner Lang on the outside of the cage this has become a handicap match! Alex Ross pulls Chris Bond up to his feet whilst he lets Kelly Flawless get some free shots in on the sVo secret agent. Kelly Flawless then nails Bond with a kick to the midsection, before slamming him down to the mat with a sidewalk slam!

With his tag team partner being beaten down in the ring Gunner Lang decides that he has had enough! The boos of the fans turn to cheers as Gunner Lang begins to climb back up the side of the cage to help out his tag team partner! The thrill seeker Gunner Lang reaches the top of the cage, before leaping down from the top of the cage and landing a flying splash that takes out Alex Ross and Kelly Flawless! The fans cheer the high flying dive from Gunner Lang as he Flawless and Ross all lay out cold in the ring! Chris Bond slowly being to stumble up to his feet and survays the chaos around him! Chris Bond turns his attention to the side of the cage and slowly begins to climb his way to victory!

With all three men down inside the ring, Chris Bond reaches the top of the cage, before dropping down to the floor! Bond’s feet touch the floor and he wins the match for his team with both Gunner Lang and Chris Bond having escaped the cage before their tag team opponents! Bond slowly makes his way up the entrance ramp with his hand raised in the air, as Gunner Lang, Alex Ross and Kelly Flawless all lay out cold in the centre of the ring!

RESULT: Gunner Lang & Chris Bond def. Kelly Flawless & Alex Ross via escape

The sVo Showdown music Pretty Vegas by INXS begins to play over the sound system as the fans cheer the arrival of interviewer Katie Smith to the ring side area. Toinight’s Organised Chaos draft host makes her way down towards the ring, receiving plenty of cheers from the fans as she receives a microphone from ringside before climbing up into the ring. Katie Smith acknoweledges the fans as the music begins to fade out and she takes to the mic.

Katie Smith – “Ladies and gentlemen of Paris, and around the world….”

Katie gets a cheap pop from the fans for the mention of their home city.

Katie Smith – “Welcome to tonight’s draft for the Organised Chaos event next week on Redemption. Both captains have already picked two men each for their team, so that means there are six spots available for each team to fill! Without further a due, let me introduce to you the team captain of Team-ALL STAR, Johnny All Star!”

Fallin’ asleep at the wheel again baby
, You’re driftin’ over the line (the line) Yeah
. Your hands are tight but you’re losin’ grip quickly
Fix me, can you read the signs?

Thumbin’ your way to Vegas, dirty
And Dreamin’ of the other side
Save your tears and laughter because
It doesn’t matter what you find

‘Pretty Vegas’ hits the sound system and there is a mixed reaction from the crowd as the former sVo International Champion Johnny All Star steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp! All Star holds his arms high in the air, before slowly making his way down the entrance ramp and sliding into the ropes. All Star once again raises his arms high into the air as he leans forward against the ropes, causing a burst of pyros to shoot up behind him.

Katie Smith – “And introducing the captain of Team-PAIGE, Paige Johnson!”

‘Tainted Love’ by PCD hits the sound system and the fans go wild as the sexy Paige steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp! Paige poses for a few seconds for the fans before slowly walking down the entrance ramp, occasionally winking at the camera, before stepping up into the ring and as the timekeeper and announcers all fall over them selves trying to be the one to hold the ring ropes down for her.

A graphic appears on the V-Tron showing the current picks for each team that have been made already. With Paige having already picked Noir and Travis Williams, and Johnny All Star selecting Gunner Lang and Joseph Equinox.

Katie Smith – “Now you can all see the current draft picks that have been made over the past few weeks, but now its crunch time. Johnny, you won the coin toss earlier, so you get to make the first third pick. Over to you.”

Katie hands the microphone over to Johnny All Star who paces around the ring whilst addressing the fans.

Johnny All Star – “I have thought long and hard about what kind of people I want to make up my team this Sunday to ensure that I am successful, but the way I see it, I need someone in there that I can trust. I need someone in there that isn’t going to screw his partners over, and I need someone in there that knows how to win. That’s why for my team, I select Gunner Lang’s tag team champion partner and client of my good friend JD James, HOWIE BANKS!”

The fans give a cheer for the name of Howie Banks as he is added to TEAM-ALL STAR on the V-Tron.

Katie Smith – “A great choice from Mr All Star, and someone that will be competing in tonight’s main event against Psyko Stevo. Now, Paige, over to you.”

Paige is handed the microphone and receives several wolf whistles from around the crowd as she walks around the ring.

Paige – “This Sunday’s Organised Chaos match is all about making names for people on the sVo roster. It is a guarantee that a star will be born this Sunday during the match, and what better person to make a star out of than someone that has been setting the sVo alight for months. My third pick, is NIGHT!”

The fans cheer the name of Night as he is added to Paige’s team on the V-Tron.

Katie Smith – “Looks like it will be a busy night for Night. A International Championship match and an Organised Chaos participant! Johnny, its time for you to make your fourth choice.”

All Star smiles as he is handed the microphone.

Johnny All Star – “Well that is an impressive choice Paige, but I am afraid I am going to have to trump you, but announcing my next pick as…. The top submission artist in the sVo…. Nathan Paradine!”

The fans cheer the announcement of Paradine, with the relative newcomer being announced as a surprise entry into the Organised Chaos match on TEAM – ALL STAR!”

Paige – “Not a bad choice, but here at TEAM-PAIGE we are all about coming out as winners this Sunday night at Retribution, that is why my fifth choice is going to be….. KADEN ALONZO!”

The fans cheer the choice of the enigmatic Kaden Alonzo on Paige’s team. As Katie Smith once again takes control of the mic.

Katie Smith – “Well in the first half of the draw we have some huge picks here for everyone scoring at home. Just to recap the teams again we currently have Team-PAIGE standing at Noir, Travis Williams, Night and Kaden Alonzo.”

Each name receives a cheer as it is read out.

Katie Smith – “And team ALL Star currently stands at Tag Team Champions Gunner Lang and Howie Banks, Hardcore Champion Joseph Equinox and submission expert Nathan Paradine!” More cheers from the fans for every name read out.

Katie Smith – “Now to kick off the second half of the draw, each team captain will first pick one tag team for their overall team, before making their final two draft choices. Lets swap things about, Paige, its your pick first.”

Paige smiles as she takes the microphone from Katie Smith.

Paige – “Well the tag team division has certainly kicked off in the sVo over the past few weeks, and I have my eyes on a team that I think are destined for the top here in the sVo. That is why my tag team choice for Organised Chaos is…. The Double Dragons, Blaze and Sensei Shredder!”

The fans cheer for the choice of the Double Dragons for team page as the microphone is handed over to Johnny All Star.

Johnny All Star – “Well we already have the Tag Team Champions over at TEAM-ALL STAR, but what better team to add to that then two men that have been fighting together for years now across many different wrestling federations. They won in tag action earlier tonight, ladies and gentleman I select Brock and Hooligan!”

The fans cheer for the selection of Brock and Hooligan as a few cult followers begin to chant the name of the group that Brock and Hooligan used to run under.

Katie Smith – “Now as we near the end of the draw each team has only two picks left, Paige is down to you for your second to last pick….”

Paige picks up the microphone and smiles as she addresses the crowd.

Paige – “As I stand here and look at my team, I struggle to see how I could make it any better. To improve a great team like this I need someone with a little extra motivation. Someone that is going to go out there with something to prove after this week. That’s why I pick… Alex Ross!”

The fans boo the selection as Paige smiles, Alex Ross certainly has something to prove against All Star’s pick of Gunner Lang after tonight’s Tag Team match.

Johnny All Star – “Ouch, Alex Ross has already lost to Gunner Lang tonight. He has already lost to my second to last pick tonight as well. Yeah that’s right, I pick CHRIS BOND!”

The fans pop for the huge pick from Johnny All Star as Paige complains to Katie Smith that she didn’t know Bond was available for selection. Katie Smith shrugs off the protests of Paige and hands her the microphone.

Paige – “Organised Chaos is all about winning, but it is all about pain and suffering as well. I witnessed first hand the first two Organised Chaos matches. This match might make stars, but it also changes lives and ends careers. That is why as my final pick, just to make sure he is in the match, I pick….. Mad Max!”

Paige snarls at the name of the former Hostility owner who confronted her earlier in the night. Can Paige really trust him on her team? The fans are shocked at the pick, as is Johnny All Star who is quickly handed the mic. All Star is speechless for a few seconds as he tries to figure out what Paige is up to.

Johnny All Star – “Well… Even I will admit I didn’t see that coming. You might think that picking some bum for your team is impressive Paige, but how about this for a swerve. For the final Organised Chaos III pick I am naming…… a mystery opponent.”

Paige once again complains as the fans begin to speculate who the mystery opponent will be. Could it be All Star returning to the ring? Could it be another of JD James’ new talents?

Katie Smith – “Well what a night of twists and turns. Lets have a final run down of the teams. TEAM-PAIGE – Noir, Travis Williams, Alex Ross, Kaden Alonzo, Night, Blaze, Shredder and Mad Max! TEAM ALL STAR – Gunner Lang, Howie Banks, Chris Bond, Brock, Hooligan, Nathan Paradine, Joseph Equinox and a mystery opponent! Ladies and gentlemen, this is going to be one HELL OF A MATCH!”

Katie Smith drops the mic as Pretty Vegas by INXS hits the sound system and the scene fades to a commercial break as Johnny All Star and Paige stare each other down!

Psyko Stevo vs. ‘Hollywood’ Howie Banks

“Sensation washes over me
I can’t describe it
Pain I felt so long ago
I don’t remember
Tear a hole so I can see
My devastation
Feelings from so long ago
I don’t remember”

“Remember” by Disturbed hits the sound system and the anticipation in the arena grows as a flash of pyros welcomes the arrival of ‘the best around’ Psyko Stevo in the sVo entrance ramp! Stevo raises his hands in the air to taunt the fans before slowly making his way down the steel ramp towards the ring. Halfway down the ramp Stevo stops and poses once again for the fans, with another burst of golden pyros firing up into the air behind him as he does. ‘The Iron man’ then slides into the ring and bounces on the second rope to once again signal to the crowd, before retreating to the corner of the ring for some last minute warm ups before the match gets underway.

Got 30 down at the bottom, 30 more at the top all invisible set, in little ice cube blocks If I could call it a drink, call it a smile on the rocks If I could call out a price, let’s say I call out a lot I got like platinum and white gold, traditional gold I’m changing grillz everyday, like Jay change clothes

“Grillz” By Nelly hit’s the sound system system. Howie Banks comes out wearing his normal ring gear with a robe around him that’s a golden yellow color. It also has white jewels on it. He makes his way down to the ring as the fans try to touch him but he walks a straight line down as he gets to the ring. He walks up the steel steps and onto the ring apron as he then gets into the ring as the fans have a mixed reaction.

The bell sounds.

Referee Mike O’Shea was standing in the ring, getting set for the very first Lions Den match in sVo history. Psyko Stevo and Howie Banks both stand across from each other, they come walking towards the middle of the caged in canvas. These two men were forced to face each other thanks to current reigning sVo World Champion Mike Best who was appointed control over the Sanctioned Violence Wrestling Organisation when both Jimmy Moretti and Jon Page were taken out of commission.

Mike O’Shea looks at both men and searches their attire. He starts with Stevo and finds nothing and then moves over to Banks where he also finds nothing. He looks up to Stevo’s face and then looks over to Howie’s face as he then asks both men if they are ready. It seems to be that they are so he takes a few steps back from both men and a few seconds later his hand comes down as he says lets get it on!

Stevo and Banks had a confrontation with each other earlier in the evening and it wasn’t pretty. The two men come face to face and begin to have a few words with each other as Banks shoves Stevo back. The Psyko One comes back and shoves Banks and tells him that he doesn’t get it. Banks shakes his head at Stevo who blasts him with a right hand that sends him down! The whole crowd is going wild! Two men who are suppose to be friends are fighting it out thanks to Mike Best who must be laughing his head ass off.

Howie gets up now and wipes his lip as blood comes off of it. He looks to Stevo and smirks as he begins to laugh hysterically. Banks now runs at him and goes for a clothesline but Stevo side steps it and then throws another straight punch. This time it’s too his head. Stevo now follows it up with a few kicks to his side as he grabs Howie and takes his down to the mat with his legs wrapped around his arm in some sort of weird submission maneuver.

Howie is trying to break free of it but can’t seem to do so as Stevo tells him to calm down and that he isn’t trying to hurt him. Stevo now let’s go of it as Howie rolls away. He comes walking straight up to Stevo’s face who pushes him back. Stevo tells him that Best is doing this to him, look at the way he’s getting us both going at each other’s throats. It’s exactly what he wanted and hes probably laughing and enjoying all of this right now!
