World Tour 2008 Event #01

NUMBER ONE CONTENDER?

The Showdown music blares over the sound system of the Subiaco Oval, Perth, Australia as the sell out crowd of just over 42,000 rise to their feet to cheer the beginning of the first ever sVo show outside of Las Vegas! The entrance video for Showdown rolls highlighting many of the biggest stars in the company, including Psyko Stevo, Isaac White, Gunner Lang and Peter Gilmour, before the camera pans around the Australian crowd that looked hyped up to be witnessing the first ever show of the sVo World tour of 2008! The camera pick out a few signs being held up by the fans such as “To the Xtremeeee!”, “I want to go Hollywood with Howie” and “sVo Rules!”!

After a few seconds, the hype from the fans turns to boos as “Blood, Milk and Sky (Miss September Remix)” by White Zombie hits the sound system and ‘the Career Killer’ himself steps out onto the entrance ramp! Kerry Millano looks around at the crowd with his evil smile before continuing down the entrance ramp towards the ring. Millano wastes no time in climbing up into the ring and taking the microphone from the ring announcer.

Kerry Millano – “I would come out here and comment to each and everyone of you how great it is to be here, but lets face it, we all know just why I am out here tonight and that is to receive the World Championship shot that was promised to me!”

There are boos from the fans due to the arrogant attitude of Millano, however ‘Mr Puroesu’ doesn’t seem to care one bit as he soaks it all up.

Kerry Millano – “On the last Showdown, Paige promised me that if I beat Chris Bond last week at Destiny that I would get my shot at Psyko StevoÖ.”

The Violence-Tron on the entrance stage shows highlights of Millano’s Destiny victory over Chris Bond last Sunday night.

Kerry Millano – “Ö. And I duly obliged! I guess all that remains is for Paige to get her little ass out here and make this thing official.”

The boos from the crowd soon turn to cheers as ‘Tainted Love’ blares over the sound system a few seconds later, and sVo general manager Paige Johnson soon appears at the top of the entrance ramp. The Australians go wild for Paige as she stands pouting whilst looking down at Millano in the ring. Paige flashes a little smile towards ‘Mr Puroesu’ before addressing Millano and the crowd.

Paige – “Kerry, I did promise you a title shot if you defeated Chris Bond at DestinyÖ. however you won the match by pinfall.”

Kerry Millano doesn’t look too happy in the ring as he leans over the ring ropes towards Paige’s direction in a threatening manor.

Kerry Millano – “And your point is?”

Paige – “What I neglected to mention was that you had to win the match against Bond by submission to get the title shot. Better luck next timeÖ.”

The crowd cheer as Paige Johnson turns and begins to make her way backstage, however the voice of Kerry Millano over the sound system soon stops her in her tracks.

Kerry Millano – “You little *censored*!”

Paige’s face looks a picture of pure shock at what Kerry Millano has just called her.

Kerry Millano – “What do you think you are doing changing the stipulations at the last minute!”

The crowd continue to boo Millano, but Paige silences the crowd by taking to the mic again.

Paige – “We are here on our first night of our world tour (Cheap Pop), and all these fans want to see some top notch matches tonight. So I will tell you what I will do.”

Kerry Millano listens patiently.

Paige – “Tonight you can take on another man looking for a World Title shot, Howie Banks, in singles action! You win, and you can have your shot!”

The fans cheer at the announcement of tonight’s match, but Kerry Millano seems more cautious.

Kerry Millano – “Any more little stipulations that you want to fill me in on this week Paige?”

Paige smiles as she winks at the ‘Career Killer’.

Paige – “You get anyone to interfere in tonight’s match Millano, and you lose your chance of taking on Stevo.”

The fans cheer as Paige and Millano hold each others gaze for a few seconds down the entrance ramp, as sVo Showdown #21 heads to its first commercial break!

A STICKY SITUATION

We are backstage in Subiaco Oval, Perth, Australia. Joseph Peyton is wondering around the new territory clearly looking for something. He goes up to a locker room door that has a star pasted on, in that star is a nameÖ Gunner Lang.

Joseph Peyton: Aha! I found it. Now, something that can take him out quicker than a bullet.

Peyton unwraps his belt, he imagines itís the Las Vegas title, he goes into a squat position in front of the door.

Joseph Peyton: Címon from down under. CíMON.

5 minutes later…

Joseph Peyton: God dammit!, this new Australian food makes me fucking prairie dog and constipated like a bitch. Wait; waitÖ oh here it goes.

Suddenly, brownÖ you knowÖ letís call them Flavor Flavs, come out of Peytonís ass.

Joseph Peyton: HAHA, this should put a stink in his chances of keeping that title.

Peyton knocks on the door and runs with his pants down to his knees, he heads to the bathroom to wipe his ass.

Joseph Peyton: Wait, why did I do that? I want him to keep the gold, so he can lose it to me.

DAMN!

“The name is BondÖ Chris Bond. The name’s BondÖ Chris Bond. My name it is BondÖ Chris Bond. I looka likea man.”

I crack myself up. Especially my Miss Swan impression. Ha! Staring at myself in the mirror-I stand there, dressed in a suit-not just any suit, a lovely black suit with a yellow undershirt and an orange tie-I can’t help but think how much I put the ‘sua’ in sauve. Or how much I put the ‘awe’ in awesome. I can’t help but realize how much I look like an international man of mystery. Suddenly, my ego stroking is interrupted.

???: “Mr. Bond.”

I look to the leftÖ and then to the right. Apparently the suave, awesome look I’ve given myself has totally gotten me off on the right foot with the ladies.

Bond: “Hola baby, the name is BondÖ Chris Bon-“

I’m cut off. It’s very rude, and sort of bitchy-a major turn off.

Tamara: “I know who you are. I’m Tamara BoydÖ and I was sent here by Moretti, Jimmy MorettiÖ your boss?”

I nod. I know who he was. I left him a few messages with his secretary.

Bond: “I’m familiar with him. He did hire me.”

She looks at me, her hotness is totally NOT outweighing her bitchiness.

Tamara: “WellÖ he wanted me to give you this message.”

She rolls her eyes, but totally eyes me at the same time-a weird ass talent to have. I reach and grab the piece of paper. I open it, read it quickly.

Bond: “It says he wants to meet with me in a few minutes. At least he gave me some notificationÖ heh.”

Tamara: “OhÖ sorry, I got lost. This new place, I’m just getting used to it.”

She smiles at me, a little blushed still. I look at her, she quickly looks down and pretends she’s too busy staring at her nails.

Bond: “Thanks doll. Would you be willing to accompany me to his office? I’m assuming you’re going there toÖ finish some paper work.”

I look at her, and flash a suave smirk. She blushes a little and agrees. I take her by the arm, each of us together, and walk down the hall. A small giggle escapes her precious lips. And all I can think is ‘DAMN!’

HOWS THAT? Pt.1

New sVo roster member BlaZe appears on the Violence-Tron, walking down a hallway backstage. The retired pro athlete BlaZe seems to be getting into the spirit of the first night of the sVo World tour, as he is wearing a Ricky Ponting Team Australia cricket jersey, and wielding a cricket bat over his shoulder, while tossing a cricket ball up and down in his other hand. The fans give a big pop for this. He turns a corner and walks smack into Psyko Stevo!

BlaZe: Oh man! Sorry, I didn’t mean to run into you like that

Psyko Stevo: No worries man, I’m alright. What’s your name man? I Haven’t seen you around before.

BlaZe: I’m BlaZe, sVo’s playmaker!

Psyko Stevo: Well alright then, welcome I guess? So what’s with the bat?

BlaZe: You know, we are in AUSTRALIA! THE HOME OF THE WORLD CRICKET CHAMPIONS!

There is a huge pop from the Australian fans.

Psyko Stevo: I see…so why did you feel the need to scream that out?

BlaZe: fan support…

Psyko Stevo: I See, well, it was nice meeting you, Good Luck.

BlaZe: Where are you going? You don’t wanna play?

Psyko Stevo: Well, I do have a match tonight…but i’ve never played beforeÖ. So why not!

There is another big pop from the Australian crowd at the prospect of sVo World Champion Psyko Stevo playing their national sport with new sVo signing BlaZe as the scene heads to ringside!

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Ruster Reno vs. Lance Diamond vs. Joey Peyton

(‘Satellite’ by P.O.D echoes throughout the All State Arena, as the fans rise up in anticipation.)

#Satellite
#Satellite

(There is more or less no reaction from the fans in the arena, as ‘Romeo’ Ruster Reno steps out from behind the curtains. A look of disgust is planted on his face, as he looks across both sides of the entrance ramp.)

#I wonder how clear it must look from there to here
#No obstruction, this selfish corruption
#All in this atmosphere
#No fear, less tears, only time to catch my breath

(Dressed in red pants, red boots, and a tight, red t-shirt, Reno spits towards the fans as he casually strolls down the ramp. Reno flicks off his shades, and stops at the foot of the ramp.)

#I fail to inhale
#Your love constricts my chest
#Confusion blinded me, mental and physically
#And it’s because of you that now I can see

(He slowly walks around the ring towards the ring steps, casually taking a step at a time till he reaches the top – leaning against the ropes whilst facing towards the fans.)

#I fail to inhale
#Your love constricts my chest
#Confusion blinded me, mental and physically
#And it’s because of you that now I can see

(As though he has all the time in the world, he climbs through the ropes and holds him arms aloft, taking in the huge amount of jeers as he does.)

#So now I can run. I follow the Son and ride on to Zion
#And dance this last song of freedom
#But only time will tell, if it’s truly for real
#Can’t change your mind, all I know this is what I feel

(The music cuts out, as Reno steps onto the turnbuckle, showing his body off to the fans, and flexing his muscles to all portions of the crowd.)

Diamonds Are Forever is said by a women voice over the loud speakers. And Diamonds begin to appear up on the titon tron. The Lighting begins to turn different colors in the entrance area as what appears to be glitters fall down from the sky. Lance Diamond walks out holding a water bottle in his right hand. He has hige custom made Black Boxing Robe with his Name labeled on the back. Lance takes a drink from his water and begins to hear boos. He throws the rest of the water out into the crowd and the Music picks up. He begins to hop around stretching out his body throwing a couple of pretend combinations with his fist. He walks down the middle of aisle and laughs at the fans who are cussing and booing at him. Lance slides up under the ropes and walks over to the turnbuckle. He takes off the robe and hands it to a man in a suit down near ringside. Lance leans up against the turnbuckles and waits for his opponent.

“You could never be my envy”
“You could never be my jealousy”
Guitar riffs and solos kick in

The lights in the arena flicker multiple times, and then slowly dim down. The Jumbo Tron goes completely black as a faint blue hue overtakes the arena. In bold red letters, the phrase “Joey Peyton” appears, centered, on the pre-existing black backdrop of the Jumbo Tron. A loud blast of pyro erupts and is instantly followed by the continuing of ‘Gimme A.D.’ by Parkway Drive. The crowd showers the arena with cheers. “Joey Peyton” morphs into “The First Star”, and as if on cue, Joey steps out from behind the entrance curtain and onto the entrance ramp wearing black tights with “Adonis Di” written down his right leg in red lettering. He stands, perfectly centered at the top of the entrance ramp, and stretches his arms outward in a crucifix pose with his fists clenched. After a few seconds, he begins walking down to the ring, in a complete serious mode he ignores any and every fan. When he reaches the ring, he rolls inside, and leaps to his feet. He stands in the middle of the ring, looking out to the crowd. As he raises his arms, bright white pyro erupts on the four corners of the ring, stopping the music, and returning the arena lights to their original hue and brightness

The bell sounds.

This bout starts off with all three men coming to the middle of the ring. Joey Peyton pushes both of them back as Ruster Reno and Lance Diamond grab a hold of him and then toss him to the ropes. Peyton comes back and is back elbowed down to the ring mat. Joey rolls away now as Reno and Diamond turn to each other and tie up. Peyton comes back in and grabs both men and smacks their heads together. Joey now whips Ruster into the corner and follows him in with a clothesline. We see Diamond standing in a corner too now as Peyton runs to him and clotheslines him too.

Joey grabs a hold of Lance Diamond and snap suplexes him in the center of the ring. Joey gets on top of him and hooks his leg for a pin fall attempt as the ref gets down to make the call.

Ruster Reno however comes over and breaks up the count by stomping on the back side of Joey Peyton. He picks him up now and tosses him over the top ropes and to the outside floor. He follows him out there now as the referee watches on. Lance Diamond starts to roll around in the ring and grab the ropes as he helps himself up. Ruster Reno grabs a hold of Joey Peyton and lifts him up. Before he can do anything else though as see Lance Diamond running and leaping over the top ropes and onto both men as they all crash and burn and hit the outside floor and are down.

The referee begins to make a count as all men are lying their motionless as the fans wonder if there even still breathing.

1……….

2……….

3……….

Still no movement yet.

4……….

5……….

6……….

There’s a bit of rumbling going on.

7……….

8……….

9……….

The fans are loving this opening bout contest as it’s been hard hitting and fast paced thus far. The referee comes out and tries to get them all up and back into the ring. The ref rolls in under the bottom rope and stands up as he waits for the competitors to get in now. Lance Diamond grabs a hold of the ring apron and helps himself up. He gets back in the ring as Joey Peyton and Ruster Reno are a bit slower to get to their feet. As they do both men roll in under the bottom rope and inside of the ring. Lance Diamond there opponent however greets them both with stomps to their backs.

Lance grabs a hold of Ruster Reno and picks him up as he body slams him down. He picks up Joey Peyton now and goes for a body slam as well but the veteran reverses it into a small package pinning perdicament.

1

2

No three count there though as Lance Diamond kicks out. Joey Peyton rises up and ducks a clothesline attempt by Ruster Reno who catches Lance Diamond and he goes flying up and over the top ropes and down to the outside floor. Joey Peyton waits patiently for Ruster Reno to turn around and when he does he is booted in the mid section and then grabs his face and pulls him down with all of his wait for the Bleed Well face crusher! That’s Joey Peyton’s finisher as he gets on top of Ruster Reno in no time for the pin fall. He hooks his leg to add more levridge to the result.

1…

2…

No!

Just in time Lance Diamond comes to the unlikely aid of Reno as he pulls Peyton off of the pin and to the outside of the ring! Lance Diamond through Peyton head first into the steel ring post before taunting to the crowd! Peyton looks in pain as he lays on the outside of the ring as Diamond rolls inside. Lance Diamond stands waiting for Reno to get to his feet whilst trying to get the crowd going. Reno finally reaches a standing position, only for Lance Diamond to take him down with a superkick! With Reno down on the mat Lance Diamond wastes no time in making the cover!

1..

2..

No! Reno kicks out! That was another close call with Reno nearly getting pinned, this time by Lance Diamond! Diamond thought he had ended his losing streak right there as he rises to his feet staring down at Reno with disgust. Lance Diamond pulls Reno up to his feet as Peyton begins to get to his feet on the outside of the ring. Lance Diamond signals for a brainbuster as he grabs hold of Ruster Reno in a front face lock, but before Diamond can lift Reno into the air, Reno rolls up his opponent with a small package!

1..

2..

Peyton dives into the ringÖ.

3!!

Joey Peyton was just inches away from breaking up the pinfall attempt, but Reno gets the three! Reno rolls out of the ring with his hands raised in the air, as Peyton lays on the mat staring at the lights wondering how he has lost that match without even being pinned!

RESULT: Ruster Reno def. Lance Diamond & Joey Peyton via pinfall

THE TARGET

‘Satellite’ begins to play as the fans give a mixed reaction. “Romeo” Ruster Reno is in the middle of the ring posing, showing the Australian fans exactly why he was a model. Peyton rolls out of the ring in defeat and begins to pace wondering where he went wrong.

The sVo World Tour is certainly off to a good start for one Mr. “Romeo” Ruster Reno, as Triple R picks up a victory.

Reno’s music and celebration are cut short as the familiar riff of AC/DC’s ‘Thunderstruck’ fills Subiaco Oval, and the forty two some odd thousands in attendance are on their feet. Peyton’s head snaps around as he stops pacing the outside of the ring and glares up at the entrance ramp. Gunner Lang strides through the curtain his Las Vegas Championship draped over his left shoulder, a mic in his right hand, stroking his ‘stache with his free hand. Absent is his usual AoD T-shirt, which is replaced with a black T-shirt with a huge target design on it.

Ruster Reno waves both men off and makes his way up the ramp Past Gunner, leaving Peyton to his fate. He stands at the edge of the ramp for a moment glancing around at the fans in attendance at Subiaco Oval. Slowly he looks down at the ring beginning a slow golf clap shaking his head.

Gunner Lang: Quite the impressive loss Peyton Place. I wonder if this is what it was like to witness the Victory Cup finals. Yeah I’ve heard all about that, just like everyone else that has been subjected to one of your promos.

Joey Peyton paces outside the ring glancing up at the entrance ramp, the anger in his eyes, his fists clenching, spitting unheard obscenities, almost as if he was deciding what his next move was.

Gunner Lang: I almost beat Mike Best Ö wah Ö wah Ö wah. We’ve all heard it man. Time Ö and time again, like a broken record. It was yesterday man. Any normal person would have picked themselves up, dusted themselves off, and said better luck next time. But no Ö not you Ö you drop off the face of the wrestling world and sporadically pop up from time to time, lose, wallow in what could have been, and then disappear again. Well it’s about that time and you pop up again. This time you target me.

Gunner begins to pace the entrance ramp he stops in the middle of the ramp looks down at his T-Shirt and tugs on it; he raises his head slowly looking back down into the ring.

Gunner Lang: You like my T-Shirt Peyton Place? You think I’m a target, as you’ve already stated. I thought I’d make it easy for you to find me, and I plan on wearing it until you actually hit it. Seeing as you have a hard time hitting the target, what with the mess you’ve made of my locker room. I’m sure Moretti’s gonna love getting the bill for that. Or maybe that’s how you target people. You sneak around in the darkness, hiding, never coming face to face with your target. See that’s where we differ, I face my problems face on. I have something to say I’ll say it to you. What you did to the locker room, to my things, that doesn’t matter, what matters is the way you went about it. My things are just that Ö material things. Material things can be replaced. You’re pride and honour Ö not so easy to replace. You Ö you are a snake and a coward Peyton.

With that Peyton sprints up the entrance ramp.

Lang and Peyton go at each other, lefts and rights been thrown, neither one backing down. Within moments JD James and a bevy of security rush out onto the entrance ramp separating the combatants as sVo Showdown heads to a commercial.

SCENE ONE, ACT ONE

The locker room door of one – Howie Banks is shown on the sVo cameras backstage. All of a sudden there is a knock at the door as Howie opens it. A man stands outside of it and hands him a clip board with a piece of paper on it. He tells Banks to sign it. Howie signs it and then is handed a package of some sort. What is in it is the mystery of it all. All that we know is that Howie seems pleased and quite excited about it.

THE GENUINE ACE

Like many, young athletes starting out, I needed a promotion to start out in. I figured why not compete in the Sanctioned Violence Organization a well established promotion to build my reputation. Thus while searching for a promotion I figured Sanctioned Violence Organization was just as good as any other promotion to start out in. So this place known as SVO was going to be the promotion that begins my start. A start in something I didnít want to be apart in, in anyway but seeing how I had no choice I figured I’d better make the best of it. Seeing how I had went through tons of torture and pain through out my teen years of growing up under the supervision of my legal guardian and the man I look towards still, as a man of honor the man who taught me how to survive and how to give out torture and pain when going up against someone still haunted my dreams. His name James Tucker the man who became my friend and my father.

As the scene opened up we could be seen not inside or even by the arena of SVO or for the worst part even at the SVO Wrestling’s HQ. Instead we could be seen standing outside a old broken down condemned house, with the windows broken out of it and various pieces of ply wood nailed on to it with various keep out no trespassing signs that read” If caught Violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law!” As the sVo cameras continued to look around for maybe anyone waiting for the camera man, the camera man walked on up the broken warped wooden steps. As the camera man knocked on the door the door, quietly opened as if it was set to open if someone hit it or pushed up against it.

Mysterious man: Glad you could make it?

He could be heard saying in a smooth soft voice could be heard whispering. As a radio could be heard in another room. The sVo camera man continued walking into the broken down house, an all accesses wrestling channel for local wrestling promotions could be heard talking about sVo. The commercial could be heard being advertising from within another room, for the next Showdown.

The Sanctioned Violence Organization World Heavy Weight Champion Psyko Stevo will be taking on Kelly Flawless and Cody Williams as well as the Intercontinental Champion Isaac White in a four man battle. More action will be announced as the event gets closer. The announcer could be heard saying. Lurking from within the shadows down the hall was a man who could be seen watching the camera mans every move. As the man spoke out he could be heard saying in a smooth soft voice but yet stern.

Mysterious man: Showdown, I was their, in factÖ I sat watching all the action that took place at the last Showdown!

As the cameras eventually got to where the voice was heard coming from only the man’s image could be seen as no light could be seen giving off anything any where’s.

Mysterious man: Sanctioned Violence Organization I’ve been watching the action in fact I’ve been watching all the action, as you never know who you’ll be competing against. I’m looking to chase after either championship title here in the sVo, this place will be the battling grounds of yours truly, I’ll be looking to turn faces throughout my career here in sVo, but what I’ll be really looking forward to is the day when I become either the World champion or I have had every championship title and if another championship title happens to come along you can bet your ass I wont be to far behind it!

The Unknown man said in a soft voice but with a more serious tone as the camera could be seen picking up his motions; he stepped out into the light he could be seen putting you in the mind of a cobra waiting to strike its prey as he lit a small wax candle. As the candle begins to illuminate various aspects of the room he was in, his facial features still couldnít be described due to them being covered by the shadows of the copper pinstriped hat he could be seen wearing.

Mysterious man: This candle is a wonderful thing, some would say, others would say if, put in the wrong hands it could be a tool used for destruction or even chaos for the most part!

The man said in his smooth soft voice, as he reached on up to his pinstriped hat and removed it. The candle could be seen illuminating more light then before as the man centered the candle in the middle of the room. He took a seat on a wooden oak hand carved chair. Luxurious, wavy, soot-charcoal black hair that gives him a mysterious look. This usually gives the people around him a haunting presence. His head lowered as he thought to himself in peace.

Pain, haunts me each and every day I live. Torture from my past could still be haunting me from my past as it sat in the back of my mind reminding me of what I had gone through, what I had done to receive it!

As the man lit up another candle the room could be seen illuminating more light as both candles burned within the room. As he sat motionless in the chair his skin could be seen as white as snow as he removed his copper pinstriped vest laying it over the chairs back piece, his build lean but yet still muscular could be seen, various tribal designs could be seen tatted all over his arms. As he raised his head, his eyes could be described a deep set gray giving off a presence of two mercury pools.

His cheeks hollowed out followed by a hollowed smile. He rose on out of the wooden oak chair and begin slowly walking on over to the torn ripped curtains that prevented the outside light from seeking inside. As he walked the breeze that he carried with him, as he walked put the candles out with in seconds. He looked on out the windows and the children in the neighborhood could be seen playing a game of tap foot ball.

Mysterious man: Ah what a horrific sight that is, children playing together, something I never did nor attended on doing! Come my debut all shall see my destruction and chaos that is created, many shall see my actions as inhumane others shall see them as actions of a man not taking any type of shit, the name of that man is Damien Sands your’s truly!

The man said, now identified as Sanctioned Violence Organization’s newest signed athlete the “Genuine Ace” Damien Sands. As he walked away from the opened curtains he walked on over to a stained glass and busted it across the counter top grabbing the jagged and broken bits of glass one by one holding them in his hands he formed a sadistic horrifying hollow smile that would only bring one to be feared of as he squeezed his hands together creating two large fist.

Blood dripped slowly down his palms as he let out the pressure from his fist; he turned away from the sVo cameras and grabbed his copper pinstriped vest along wit his pinstriped hat. Walking out of the cameras sight he vanished with in the darkness of the halls inside the old broken down condemned house, with the windows broken out of it and various pieces of ply wood nailed on to it. The sun could be seen beginning to set as the scene faded out to darkness as the camera feed begin to end. The words “Genuine Ace” flashed across the screen as it faded out to darkness.

sVo LAS VEGAS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Gunner Lang (c) vs. Donnybrook

Gunner Na na na na na na!
Gunner Na na na na na na!
Gunner Na na na na na na!

I was caught!
In the middle of a railroad track (Gunner) !
I looked ’round, !
And I knew there was no turning back (Gunner) !
My mind raced!
And I thought what could I do? (Gunner) !
And I knew!
There was no help, no help from you (Gunner) !
Sound of the drums!
Beatin’ in my heart!
The thunder of guns! !
Tore me apart!
You’ve been – Gunner-struck!

The familiar riff of AC/DC’s Thunderstruck fills the arena. As the pyro goes off on the entranceway Gunner Lang explodes onto the entrance ramp shooting off his own pyro from a gun while the sVo Tron shows Gunner and a band playing his entrance music. The fans are on their feet cheering and shout “Gunner” along with the song. Gunner drops the pyro gun and runs down to the ring slapping hands with the fans and giving devil horns. He slides into the ring under the bottom rope and proceeds to take off his shirt and bandanna throwing them into the crowd.

The Violence-tron flickers and a slideshow of various martyrs is shown. After about five seconds of that Proven by Hatebreed blasts over the PA system and as soon as the music hits Donnybrook comes running from behind the curtains and makes his way down to the ring where he slides under the bottom rope. Once he is in the ring he is pumped and full of energy. He runs to every corner and jumps on the turnbuckle and throws his hands up in the air. After he makes his way around the squared circle he throws his shirt off and cracks his knuckles and neck and is ready for battle.

The bell sounds.

Gunner Lang the NEW sVo Las Vegas Champion goes into his first battle after Destiny and defeating Joseph Equinox for the title belt as he takes on Donnybrook and defends the belt on the line. Can Donnybrook win and capture the belt or can Gunner retain? So far it’s been seen with a tie up that Gunner Lang has pushed Donnybrook to the corner. He chops his chest and does it quite a few times in fact. Lang now grabs a hold of the newcomer and body slams him really hard towards the ring mat as the referee gets Gunner away from his opponent for a second.

That gives Donnybrook time to get up on his knees and throw punches at Gunner Lang’s mid section. He follows it up with right hands to his jaw and then a swinging neck breaker to finish the combination. Donnybrook gets on top of him and goes a pin fall.

Gunner Lang show his upper strength and stamina as he kicks out from that and avoids the three count.

Donnybrook now grabs a hold of Gunner and puts on a chin lock submission maneuver. Lang is trying to break free quite quickly but Donnybrook has it in pretty tightly. Gunner however gets up from all the commotion, excitement and momentum the fans are pushing his way and he lifts him up and tosses him up and over his shoulder. Gunner follows that up by running at Donnybrook when he gets up and nailing a clothesline. After that move is executed we see Gunner Lang whip him into the ropes. He comes back and is back body dropped down to the ring mat.

Gunner Lang crouches down on top of his opponent Donnybrook and goes for the pin attempt now.

Both men have gotten a two count on each other only in this one fall match up for the sVo Las Vegas Championship. It’s not really personal, it’s just about the championship gold. Something many men have held. Brock Alyas the first sVo Las Vegas Champion, Rex Fury the second, Joseph Equinox recently the third and now Gunner Lang the current reigning title holder. Can Donnybrook over pass him even and become the fifth man in the Sanctioned Wrestling Violence Organisation to wear the gold? Only one way to find out. Watch the rest of the match as it continues.

Gunner Lang has Donnybrook up in the corner. He drives shoulder blocks into his rib cage area. Donnybrook leaps up at the last moment and then comes down looking for a sunset flip. Unfortunately, Gunner Lang picks him up and then drives him into the ring mat with a running power slam. Gunner now signals to the crowd that it is all over with now as he taunts and they cheer for him. He stands there waiting for Donnybrook to get up who finally does. He turns around and is booted to the mid section. Gunner whips him into the corner now and runs in hitting the Boomerlang splash!

Donnybrook comes out of the corner staggering back and forth when we see Gunner Lang get on the second turnbuckle and jump off and come from behind on Donnybrook with his finisher – The Gunnerstruck bulldog! He gets on top of Donnybrook quickly and hooks his leg for the cover.

HOWS THAT? Pt.2

The show cuts back to the backstage area, there are three vertical black lines painted on the bottom of the wall…to about waist height, sVo World Champion Psyko Stevo is standing in a batting position and BlaZe ‘bowls’ the ball at him, he responds by cracking it deep. Gunner Lang is returning from his match against Donnybrook, leaps into the air and with one-hand catches the cricket ball!

BlaZe; HOWWWWZZZZAAATTT!!!!

Psyko Stevo: What the hell are you yelling about, I just molested your ball!

BlaZe; Or so you’d think, but REALLY, you hit the ball and got caught out easily, just like baseball.

Psyko Stevo: Dammit. Gunner Lang tosses the ball up and down as he walks closer to Psyko Stevo and BlaZe.

Lang: You know we are wrestlers, and we do have matches tonightÖ

BlaZe: YOU know, we are in AUSTRALIA!!!

Lang looks to Psyko Stevo, confused as to the yelling from BlaZe. Psyko Stevo whispers “fan support” to Gunner Lang, causing the sVo Las Vegas Champion to nod.

Lang: Alright boys, have fun, I on the other hand, take my job seriously.

BlaZe: See ya later

Lang begins to walk away, as BlaZe steps into bat, and is instantly bowled out by Psyko Stevo.

Psyko Stevo: HOWWWWWW….ZAT??

Lang stops in his tracks and returns to the two.

Lang: Funny words make me smile. I’m in!

Lang steps up to bat and hammers the delivers off a wall, into the backstage camera, knocking it over. With the camera lying on the ground, BlaZe yells “oh crap! lets find another hallway!”, and the three sVo superstars run before Jimmy Moretti can launch any investigation into who has broken his sVo equipment.

THE LAST NIGHTMARE

We go to the back where sVo lead reporter Candi Cross is standing by. Candi is in a sexy blue dress with a black bra underneath and black shoes on her feet. She gets some last minute instructions as the producer goes over some stuff with her.

Producer: You sure you’re ready Candi? You don’t have to do this.

Candi: Oh hush, I get paid to do my job, and I am going to live up to it.

Producer: Ok then. In 3..2…1…

The producer points at Candi and lets her know they are recording.

Candi: ladies and gentleman, my guest at this time is the NEW sVo Hardcore Champion, The Xtreme Icon Peter Gilmour!

Peter steps into the scene slowly but amazingly no sign of Max Masterson.

Peter: Hello Candi.

Candi: Hello Peter. Where is Max?

Peter: I told him to stay in the back tonight. I need to face Night on my own.

Peter looks down. It seems he is really worried about tonight’s match and the possibility that his title reign will only last 1 week.

Candi: Speaking of Night, tonight you defend the title you took from him at Destiny. Now, you didn’t pin Night and you have yet to beat him. How do you think you will be able to retain the title tonight?

Peter: That’s a great question Candi. I haven’t been able to beat Night yet. But there is always a first time for everything. Tonight, I am going to finish this feud between me and Night. I have to move forward Candi. Night has been a thorn in my side since he beat me for the Hardcore Title. I thought after I put him and Lance Diamond away last week at Destiny, he would be out of my life for good. But he had to get his rematch clause in so I can’t do anything about that. But tonight, I am going to put a end to this feud and end Night’s career. Tonight, I don’t need Max to be by my side. I need to do this on my own.

Peter looks into the camera.

Peter: Night, we have fought tooth and nail the past month or so. We have spilled some blood and beat each other to a pulp. But tonight, I am the champion and you are the challenger. You can say that you want to climb the mountain and get back to that castle in the sky. But after tonight, you won’t be climbing much of anything after I break your legs. I know you are on a losing streak, but you won’t win the title tonight. I will be DAMNED if I give this title up to you or anyone in this company. I am holding on to this title for a LONG time. You really should be worried about Isaac White who has had your number the past few weeks. I like Isaac. He is a scrappy wrestler who could be a great ally to me someday. We shall see.

Candi: Peter, one final question. Tonight Jason Fox and Joseph Equinox battle to become the #1 contender for that belt you hold on your shoulder. Now IF you win, who would you like to fight next week on Showdown?

Peter thinks for a second then gives a sick grin on his face.

Peter: It isn’t a matter of IF I win tonight, Candi. It is WHEN I win. I WILL beat Night tonight and then I could care less who faces me next week for my title. Jason Fox, is not even in my league, so if he wins I could beat him easily. Joseph Equinox on the other hand may pose a threat, all be it a very SMALL threat. Joseph thinks he is “THE ONE” and believes in the Matrix. What a joke. Hey Joseph, 1998 called and they want their year back. You can claim to be “THE ONE” and a NEO rip-off, but if you step into the ring with me, I will end your little dream of being “THE ONE.” I will give you a virus and that virus will be the absolute ass kicking of a lifetime courtesy of YOUR hardcore champion, Peter Gilmour. So good luck to you guys tonight, because just like what I will do to Night in a few short minutes, next week I will take you or Jason Fox TO THE XTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME!

Peter puts his eyes in back of his head as he holds up the hardcore title in front of the camera as we fade to ringside.

AN IMPROVEMENT

I’m stuck there sitting in the lobby area of his Australia office. It appears that he’s a very well to do man. I look at my watch, and I realize the time. I’m up in like 20 minutes. Assuming that the chumps in the ring don’t over work themselves and pass out. I roll my eyes. I reach down and press a button. Suddenly, a red laser shoots out of my watch and puts a hole in one of the pictures on the wall. My eyes bulge out. I quickly get up and try to think of a way to hide it. The receptionist is too busy on her phone giggling and talking to her boyfriend with her thick Brooklyn accent. Yet, amazingly, she has a bit of Australian in her, too. AlthoughÖ she seemed a little skankyÖ

Receptionist: “I know Robbie, she was all saying, ‘WTF Mate?!’ and I looked her and was like ‘Bitch I don’t think soÖ he’s MYYYY man.”

I can’t believe people actually talk like that, but they do. I just start to whistle to myself and look around for something to cover this accident. I’ve seen what the mafia does to people who do things on accidentÖ I’m not gonna get baked into a fish cake or swim with the horse heads. Uh-uhÖ Homey don’t play that! I quickly spy something that seems to work. I pull over the small table that supports the fish aquarium. It covers a picture of Moretti and his boy, Anthony, who now has a massive hole where his face used to be.

Bond: “I guess that was an improvementÖ hah.”

The receptionist quickly looks up from her conversation.

Receptionist: “Mr. Bawnd. Mr. Moretti will be with your shortly. He’s running late with, a clientÖ”

She flashes a fake smileÖ and goes back to her conversation. I take my seat againÖ and realize that you can totally see right through the tank and see a massive hole in Anthony Moretti’s face. I tug at my collar a little and nervously fix my tie. Suddenly the main door opens up and in walks Tamara. She flashes me a quick smile and my nervousness fades to cool, cocky suaveness. I’m awesome.

Receptionist: “TamaraÖ go head on inÖ he’s been expecting you Hun.”

Tamara: “Thanks Shelia. Tootles Mr. Bond.”

She smiles at me once more and offers a quick wave. Shelia looks and just chews her gum, before shaking her head and going back to her conversation.

Bond: “I can’t believe I’m waiting here for him like this. I’ve got a match to winÖ”

I roll my eyes once more and look at my watch. I attempt to light it up, but the laser goes off again and this time cuts through Shelia’s phone cord. Luckily she wasn’t paying attention and looks down at her paper work before realizing she’s not talking to anyone. I quickly turn away and begin whistling again. Shelia, who is now obviously irritated looks at me, and with a bitchy-smile says:

Shelia: “It shouldn’t be much longer Mr. Bawnd.”

I quickly wave in her direction to offer an acknowledgment and smile at her.

Bond: “I’ll just wait right hereÖ thanks.”

I roll my eyes. GodÖ hurry up and screw her alreadyÖ I’ve got things to do and a certain ass to kick.

sVo HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH
Joseph Equinox vs. Jason Fox

“Open Your Eyes” By Guano Apes begins to play. Smoke begins to fill the chas the lights tim to near darkness. A beam of bright white light shines from the stage. As the light begins to dim, Joseph Equinox can be seen stading at the top of the stage with smoke foating all around him. Equinox moves to the top of the ramp and stops before he flails his arms out to the side of him and a pyro lightn$ing bolt fies down and strikes him. The spotlights loom over where Equinox was standing but he is no longer there. All of a sudden 4 more lighting bolts crash down on each corner of the ring and the arena lights change to a dark blue. And there standing in the ring is Equinox with smoke now floating around the ring. Joseph Equinox then looks up the ramp and takes off his shades as he awaits his opponent.

As ‘Epic’ blares over the loudspeakers, Jason Fox stands defiantly at the top of the entranceway. He twists his neck as his pyro goes off and walks slowly to the ring. He leaps over the top rope and jumps to the nearest turnbuckle to await his match.

The bell sounds.

Both men are coming off of losses from the latest sVo pay-per-view known as Destiny. Jason Fox lost in a triple threat match that seen Howie Banks demolish him and Ruster Reno. As far as Joseph E quinox goes, he pulled out a TLC match from nowhere and ended up losing his sVo Las Vegas Championship to challenger Gunner Lang in what was seen to be one of the best matches on the card that night. This match means quite a bit in terms of who’s moving where and what there position will be in the ranks.

They tie up. Jason Fox pushes the smaller and lighter man in Joseph Equinox. The Chosen One tells the referee to ask Jason Fox to back off. The referee does so and the 21st Century of the Sanctioned Violence Organisation does just that. Fox takes a step back and that’s a mistake he’s going to remember. Equinox takes advantage of the opportunity as he comes charging out at Jason Fox with a major clothesline that sends him down. He gets on top of his opponent now and proceeds to hook his leg for the first cover in this contest.

Nothing more then a two count though as Jason Fox kicked out of that predicament. Joseph Equinox kept on coming after him though with stomps to his back side. Fox grabs the ropes and lifts himself up but only to be picked up and body slammed right back down across the ring mat. Fox then dodges an elbow drop attempted by his opponent Joseph Equinox. Jason takes a breather and begins to see what this new kid has got in his repertoire. Jason grabs him and whips him to the corner. He runs in and is back elbowed to the face.

Jason now stumbles back as Joseph Equinox runs after him. Jason Fox trips him down with the drop toe hold maneuver. Fox now gets on top of him and locks his arms around the shoulder and chin area of Equinox as he puts on a chin lock submission. The referee gets in closer to see that it is not a choke hold and it seems not to be as he tightens the grip on it a little more so. Jason Fox has to deal with Joseph Equinox working his way back up to a vertical basis as he back elbows him in the mid section a few times now.

Joseph now breaks free and runs to the ropes. He comes back and is just tossed into the ropes again. Joseph Equinox comes back but is hit by a lariat clothesline from Jason Fox the young 21st Century star from Cleveland, Ohio. As Joseph Equinox is down we see Jason Fox looking ready to finish it all now. He just stands there waiting for his opponent to rise up. Jason Fox grabs a hold of Joseph Equinox now and boots him in the mid section. He wraps his arms up around his back and then goes for the finisher of his – The Fox Driver. He goes for it but Joseph Equinox tosses him up and over his back side for a body drop. The Chosen One now kicks him right in the face with the E.M.T. Super kick. Fox goes bouncing off the ropes. He comes back and Joseph Equinox hit’s his finisher – The Digital Code Neck breaker!

He gets on top of his opponent and hooks the leg for the pin.

CHAMPION MEETS CHAMPION

The V-Tron starts receiving the picture from somewhere within the backstage area of the arena, showing the highschool dropout who can’t even spell her own name correctly, Candi Cross! She smiles widely and speaks into a microphone held in her hand.

CANDI: Hey everybody, this is Candi Cross backstage for Showdown in PERTH, AUSTRALIA!

Candi succeeds in getting a cheap, Mick Foley-esque pop from the crowd at the mention of their home city. She continues.

CANDI: Stood beside me right now is none other than the sVo World Champion, PSYKO STEVO!

The crowd give another cheer as the camera turns to include Stevo in the shot, who stands proudly with his gut sucked in and chest puffed out, World title hung over his shoulder. He gives Candi a smile and quickly picks a speck of dust off the center plate of his belt.

CANDI: Stevo, you certainly had a gruelling, but glorious night at Destiny.

You defeated not one, not two, but THREE men to retain your sVo World Championship. These weren’t just any men, either, but accomplished sVo veterans- “Hollywood” Howie Banks, Night and Cody Williams- all in one night! How do you feel about this amazing accomplishment?

Candi trails off as “The Hope” Isaac White now walks into view. Stevo rolls his eyes as though expecting trouble, and holds his hands out in front of him, showing he has no hostility towards Isaac.

STEVO: Hey listen, I don’t want this to get out of hand but I’m trying to do something here, how about you just keep on walking and wait until later tonight before you come up to me?

Isaac nods his head at Stevo’s words to show he agrees with him.

ISAAC: Believe me, Stevo, I don’t anything to kick off right now, either. I just thought I’d stop by and congratulate you on your success at Destiny.

Stevo frowns slightly, under the impression White is being sarcastic. Isaac reiterates what he just said in order to show he is being serious.

ISAAC: I mean it, Stevo. You proved to everybody just why you’re the champion –

It’s now Stevo’s turn to nod as he gives White a small smile.

STEVO: Thanks, but I still have to-

White holds up a hand, cutting Stevo off.

ISAAC: You didn’t let me finish. I was going to say, you proved to everybody just why you’re the champion… for now. But if were you, for as long as that belt is in my possession, I’d be polishing it up real nicely.

STEVO: Oh yeah, and why’s that?

ISAAC: Because I’d want it to look pretty for the next guy to wear it.

STEVO: If three guys couldn’t get the job done at Destiny, what makes you think you stand much of a chance? From what I saw, you didn’t do too good at Destiny.

Stevo responds coolly and nods at White’s arm, which has been covering his ribcage the entire time. Isaac follows Stevo’s gaze and smirks, giving his own swish reply.

ISAAC: Whereas you may have had three separate matches during one night, during how many of them did you fight with two broken ribs?

Stevo doesn’t answer but smiles, as does White.

ISAAC: That’s what I thought. Anyway, I don’t want to outstay me welcome. See you later, Steven!

White flicks his cap and winks at the World Champion before kicks his cane into his hand and leaving at a brisk pace. Stevo seems to forget about the interview and watches White depart, a smile on his face.

SINGLE MATCH
Chris Bond vs. Orlando Fox

“A way to be…
You’re looking down again…
Just let it be…
And I’d only do for you what you’d do for me…
And I only would do for you what you’d do for me…”

“Touche’” by Godsmack begins to play around the arena and a mixed reaction is heard from the “new” fans as the cocky Chris Bond makes his way down the entrance ramp. Bond keeps his eyes focused on the ring as he slowly makes his way towards the arena for battle, managing to slap a few lucky fan’s hands, before climbing up into the ring. Bond looks focused as he warms up in the corner of the ring as he is announced to the crowd by the sVo ring announcer.

And with a complete change of style and music, comes the opponent, the former sVo Hardcore Champion!

“Cuz tha boyz in tha hood are always hard
Ya come talkin’ that trash we’ll pull ya cord
Knowin’ nuthin’ in life but tah be legit
Don’t quote me boy ‘cuz I ain’t said shit”

Boyz-N-Tha-Hood by Eazy E hits the sound system and the fans boo as Orlando Fox slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp. Fox raises his hands in the air as he walks down towards the ring whilst staring out members of the audience at ringside. Fox soon rolls into the ring under the bottom rope and steps onto the bottom rope before performing his signature taunt to the crowd, which brings out even more boos for Fox!

Both men walk to the center of the ring, their cocky attitudes are clear but making it even clearer is their refusal to exchange handshakes.

The Australian fans roar at the view and anticipation of the sVo’s halftime match up, the veteran and rookie sVo wrestlers begin walking around, circling one another, and trying to develop a feel.

Suddenly they both rush forward, locking up collar and elbow. Bond manages to break the hold and dig an elbow into the side of Fox’s head. Bond whips Fox to the turnbuckle, and he hits hard! Bond runs full speed, clotheslining Orlando in the corner. Bond shoots off the ropes, as Fox staggers out; he is met with a hard shoulder block, sending him straight to the mat.

“Mr. Reality” Chris Bond backs off, allowing Compton’s finest, Orlando Fox to get to his feet. The two men lock up once more, and again Chris Bond breaks out, whipping Orlando into the ropes. As Fox rebounds, Bond goes for another shoulder block, but wait! Fox drops and slides beneath it. Fox pops up as Bond turns, and is met by a knee to the chest from Fox.

Fox now stands by Bond with his back turned, as the sVo’s first World Tour crowd begins to boo. Not paying any attention to the noise, Fox drops a gangster leg across Bond’s throat, and quickly grabs the leg for the cover!

Kickout!

Orlando Fox pulls Chris Bond up, and hooks him for a basic suplex, but as he lifts, Bond manages to block it with his leg. Bond then quickly yanks Fox over with a snap suplex of his own. Rolling through, still with his grip on Fox, Bond lifts him up again. As Fox kicks, Bond brings him down face first with a front suplex. The Texan quickly rolls him over like a innocent animal in a rodeo, he goes for the cover. The ref slides into position for the count

No! Fox is still here!

Bond stands, and pulls Fox to his feet. He whips Fox into the ropes, and off the rebound, Bond catches Fox with a knee to the gut. He wraps him up with an abdominal stretch, and quickly applies the pressure. As the Technical Submissionist continues to try to wear Fox down, Orlando Fox manages to grab the top rope! He wriggles around for a moment, then flips over backward with the help of the rope, and lands on his own two feet.

Bond cuts wildly loose with a backhand, but Fox ducks it, and forearms him in the back of the head. As Bond stumbles forward, Fox grabs him by the head, and takes him down with a gangster face buster.

As Fox makes the cover, the ref starts the count

Bond kicks out of the pin!

Orlando Fox gets up very quick, with a look of disappointment on his face. Fox then runs towards the turnbuckle and leaps up onto it. Bond slowly stands, just as Fox leaps off, nailing a missile dropkick to the chest that can only be compared to that of a quick drive by. But, both men are hit hard

The referee now begins the count, as both men lay motionless on the mat

Fox seems to be moving.

And now Bond is getting to his knees.

Both men rise to their feet, as the Australian fans are going crazy at this special one in a lifetime moment.

Both men begin swinging, landing hard right and left shots, putting any fear aside. However, Bond gets the upper hand with a blow to Fox’s nose! Orlando Fox staggers back; and taking full advantage, Chris Bond grabs Fox and lifts him up! The formation of Bond’s trademark Cradle Piledriver, popularized by many but not near as perfected by Chris Bond. The landing causes the neck of Orlando Fox to be crushed into the mat; Bond goes for the his finishÖ

Fox puts his shoulder up in time!

The Australian fans are far from annoyed from this spectacular match. Bond now stands, and pulls Fox to his feet. He is setting him up for a super kicking right kick called the Reality Check! And so the kick is in-air but remarkably Fox manages to regain himself and pivot out of the way! BUT OH! Bond counters with a left foot super kick! Like a starving animal, he runs at his prey for the pin.

3!

Chris Bond has made a stunning debut here in sVo with a victory over the former sVo Hardcore Champion, Orlando Fox! The fans give both superstars a huge round of applause.

RESULT: Chris Bond def. Orlando Fox via pinfall

HOWS THAT? Pt.3

The scene shows a NEW hallway, where BlaZe, Gunner Lang and Psyko Stevo have been joined by two new wrestlers, Jason Fox and Lance Diamond. The five sVo wrestlers are fiercely playing a game of cricket, with many laughs, unfortunately, the team of BlaZe & Gunner can’t seem to stand up against the team of Psyko Stevo, Jason Fox, and Lance Diamond.

Gunner Lang steps in to bat, Jason Fox bowls the ball and hits him straight in the leg.

Gunner: WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!?!

Jason Fox: Sorry man, new to this game.

BlaZe: Hey gunner, that was just an LBW, that means your leg was blocking the wicket, and that you’re out!!

Lang: WORST RULE EVER…I SHOULD GET A FREE BASE.

Lance Diamond: You heard the man, HOWZAT!

There are boos from the crowd as current sVo Hardcore Champion Peter Gilmour walks onto the scene with his Hardcore title belt.

Peter Gilmour: What the hell are you girls arguing about? Sucking?

BlaZe; What’s with the negativity, no one fights in AUSTRALIA!

Peter Gilmour shakes his head annoyed.

BlaZe: Come on, it’s all fun, get in, you’ll even up the teams, well hopefully.

BlaZe winks at Gilmour, handing him the bat as the others laugh uncomfortably.

Peter Gilmour: Are you trying to say I can’t play this sport?, Well there’s one sport I can play, and I take it to the Xtremeeeee!

Peter Gilmour floors BlaZe with two hits from the cricket bat, busting his head open. The others jump on Peter Gilmour and hold him off of the sVo newcomer Blaze.

Peter Gilmour(yelling at BlaZe): I KNOW WHO YOU ARE, YOU SHOULD’VE STAYED RETIRED! THIS IS MY “HOUSE”!

Peter Gilmour walks off, as the wrestlers help BlaZe to his feet. BlaZe grabs his head, wipes the blood and watching Gilmour walk away with an angry look in his eye.

BlaZe: “Next Showdown…GAME TIME”

sVo HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Peter Gilmour (c) vs. Night

A whisper…

“I’m dreaming…”

The distant chords of Deftones’ “Knife Party” cut through the PA as the arena lights cut completely. The V-Tron sparks to life as the words “I’m dreaming…” float onto it. As the song erupts the words are replaced by one.

A name.

” N I G H T “

An explosion of purple light as a man in a black mask appears. At least, the mask appears black at first, but on closer inspection it appears to be made of the night sky. The mask does not entirely cover the man’s head and a head of black dreadlocks stream out, tracing the man’s jaw.

The man stands at the top of the entrance ramp – motionless for a moment and bathed in the twilight in the open arena, his stance elegant and mysterious, giving away nothing of his motives. As the music swirls away, the man only known as Night begins his walk to the ring – only, he doesn’t walk, it appears more of a graceful glide. Although he moves seamlessly, he moves deceptively quickly to the ring, sliding in deliberately and headfirst. He moves to a far corner and stands in the shadows – turning to face the entrance ramp and the upcoming match.

The lights go out in the arena and the beginning chords of Lamb of God’s WALK WITH ME IN HELL begin to play. The lights then turn red and Max Masterson begins to make his way out to the ramp. He is dressed in a red suit and holding a Singapore cane. He looks over the crowd and begins to laugh. Soon after, Peter Gilmour comes out in a dark red cloak with no hood and the words “Xtreme” on the back. Peter meets Max and both of them throw up an “X” as fire emits in the same fashion behind them. The duo goes to the ring, ignoring the fans comments towards them. Max gets into the ring first and Peter follows behind him. Peter goes into the middle of the ring stretches out his arms and rolls his eyes in back of his head ala the Undertaker, as the lights come back on. Max takes off Peter’s cloak and Peter looks across the ring at the former champion, neither man averting their gaze from the other.

With a slight hesitation to look at the belt he just won one week ago at Destiny, the new sVo Hardcore Champion hands his title to the referee who holds it up, signifying it is on the line. Night stares at the title blankly, but that look is replaced by one of focus and determination that can even be seen through his mask and seems to be aimed directly at Peter Gilmour. Gilmour for his part does not seem intimidated and glares back at his rival. Handing the title to the timekeeper, the referee calls for the bell and the crowd buzz with anticipation unable to believe that they are witnessing what could possibly be the final encounter between these two heated rivals here in Perth, Australia.

The Executioner stalks forward and slowly begins to circle the ring. He reaches the mid-point however and Night has not moved. The two stand motionless, staring at each other before Gilmour finally relents and begins to circle the other way, this time the masked man obliges and creeps out of his corner. And as one, both men stop and charge into the centre of the ring, locking up.

The larger man, Gilmour quickly overpowers the former champion and begins backing him into the corner. Reaching it, Night is bent backwards over the turnbuckle – Peter reaches back an arm and brings it smashing towards Night’s chest. However, Night, renowned for his agility ducks down out of the way, leaving the big man to smash his fist into the turnbuckle.

Gilmour turns and is met by a series of three quick chest kicks from Night which stagger him. Night grabs the big man in a front facelock and bounces his feet onto the middle, before bouncing off and spinning around for a tornado DDT…

… or at least he tries as Gilmour merely stands his ground, leaving Night seated on the mat, still clutching Gilmour in the front-face lock. With a huge display of strength and a primal howl, the hardcore champion lifts the challenger back to a standing position before dropping his own head under Night’s arm and hoisting the masked man into a vertical suplex position and holding him there.

Stepping out of the corner, Gilmour launches Night forward – the smaller man managing to twist in midair and clip Gilmour with a thrust kick which jilts him, but doesn’t drop him. Unable to fight gravity, however, Night still sprawls to the mat, but twists and stands facing Gilmour in a defensive stance as Gilmour mockingly clutches at his jaw – the crowd cheer loudly for this display of speed and power.

As the two lock up in the centre of the ring again, Night finds himself almost immediately trapped by Gilmour in a standing headlock. The two back up and, using the momentum of the ropes, Night pushes Gilmour off – the hardcore champion running across the ring and bouncing off the far ropes Night goes low for a leg sweep, but showing agility of his own, Gilmour leaps over it. Bouncing off the far ropes, Peter Gilmour again charges at Night, who turns just in time to be his with a massive running leg lariat! The crowd go nuts as Night basically flips backwards, Gilmour covering quickly, wanting this one to be over fast and cementing the legitimacy of his championship.

ONE…….

TWO…….

THR–

Night kicks out but still seems pretty out of it after that massive leg lariat. Gilmour wastes no time and pulls the masked man to a standing position, peppering him with huge clubbing forearms to the back, each sending the smaller man reeling but unable to move due to Gilmour’s grip. Clearly enjoying his dominance, Gilmour winds back and nails Night in the face with a fist, followed by several more, backing the challenger up to the ropes and Irish whipping him back across the ring. As Night tries to clear the cobwebs, Gilmour rushes forward and scoops him up before driving him back to the mat with a spinebuster.

Feeling the former champion at his mercy Gilmour roars at the crowd before turning straight back to Night, he kneels over the masked man and opens up with big lefts and rights – Night’s head bobs groggily in response.

A sick smile crosses over Gilmour’s face and, as if remembering he is the Hardcore champion now stands and excitedly exits the ring. He lifts the ring apron and begins to dig around underneath. Immediately items begin to slide out as Gilmour digs hungrily. A ladder makes its way out, followed closely by a table. The crowd cheer loudly for these staples of hardcore matches. Gilmour emerges looking frustrated and moves to the next side of the ring, angrily flipping the ring apron and again crawling under the ring. Another table, a fire extinguisher and some thick cables flop out from under the ring, before finally Peter Gilmour emerges triumphantly with what appears to be a cricket bat and a small coil of barbed wire!

The crowd murmur as he sadistically laughs while wrapping the barbed wire around the cricket bat, before sliding back into the ring… to find no one. Gilmour cries out for Night and begins to look around wildly, all the while brandishing his brutal looking weapon.

As Gilmour turns back towards the side of the ring he just emerged from, he is met with the fire extinguisher flying into his face leading to a huge cheer from the crowd! Gilmour staggers and clutches at his forehead as a small trickle of blood drips down. Finally stumbling into a seated position, he looks enraged through his grogginess and angrily fights to clear his vision and regain his balance. Meanwhile, outside the ring, a still visibly groggy Night stumbles as he sets up one of the tables. Leaving it outside the ring, he quickly darts under the ring and emerges with a chair.

Now armed, the former hardcore champion slides into the ring as the current champion wearily finds a foot. Night tosses the chair to Gilmour, who catches it with some degree of surprise – only to be further shocked as Night charges forward and drills the chair into Gilmour’s face with an enzuigiri!

Both men sprawl to the mat, but the former champion manages to crawl over to Gilmour and drapes an arm over for the cover!

ONE….

TWO…

TH–

And this time Peter Gilmour kicks out. Night sprawls on the mat but quickly manages to kneel and stand – the hardcore champion manages to roll out of the ring. He crawls slowly under the ring through one of the already lifted ring aprons and emerges with another small coil of barbed wire. He clutches it in his hands, obscuring it from the view of the ring and preparing to strike. Night exits the ring quickly and charges at Gilmour – and before the champion can strike Night levels him with a sickening running knee thrust to the face sending The Executioner flipping end over end and landing face down.

Night stands and shakes out his knee, before kicking the barbed wire coil under the table. He moves to the downed champion and pulls him to his feet. Once there, he drives his knee into his forehead three times, before rolling him back into the ring. Night follows quickly onto the apron, but springs himself onto the top rope before immediately leaping off with a huge high elevation shooting star press…

… straight onto the mat as Gilmour rolls aside. Night bounces and clutches at his chest as a groggy and bloody Peter Gilmour clambers to his feet. Grabbing the former champion roughly by the hair, he tosses him across the ring. Night bounces off the ropes and charges back at the champion, leaping and locking his legs around Gilmour’s head and swinging around, attempting to throw him over the ropes and through the table.

With another amazing display of strength however, the sVo Hardcore Champion stands strong, holding onto the smaller man and instead lifting him back up as if to powerbomb Night through the table instead. However, Night manages to grab hold of the ring rope and lands roughly on the apron. Quickly springing up to his feet, he grabs hold of Gilmour’s wrist and yanks him onto his shoulders on the ring apron, Gilmour’s legs still on the top rope. Night rushes forward and dives out to the side, driving Gilmour’s head towards the table with The Dreaming!

“CRASH!”

Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Only for Gilmour to slip out at the last moment and drive his head through the table instead and proving that that chant is global. Gilmour clutches at his side in pain, with a sick smile on his face. In the debris of the table, Night pants heavily trying to catch his breath and regain his senses. The star over his right eye is stained a crimson red. He lays on his side, the right side of his face resting painfully on the coil of barbed wire. With a great deal of effort, Night manages to sit up and pries the coil from his mask – a portion over his right eyebrow ripping off exposing stained red skin. As he does this however, he is caught off guard by Gilmour who drives a boot into his face, causing Night’s head to bounce off the ground.

With a smirk, Gilmour hoists Night up by the mask and tights and shoves him roughly back into the ring. Out of nothing but instinct, Night somehow manages to find his footing – only for Peter Gilmour to slide into the ring, grab hold of Night’s head and dive forward, driving Night face first into the mat with a Gilmour Cutter!!

He covers.

ONE….

TWO…

THREE–

Unbelievably, Night somehow manages to kick out. His whole body convulses slightly as Gilmour stares in disbelief at the bloodied former champion. Slamming the mat out of frustration, he charges out of the ring and makes straight for the table and ladder lying beside the ring from earlier and still intact! Grabbing hold of the table he fumbles with the legs… but seems to get a better idea as he merely leaves it folded but props it up between the ring apron and the crowd barrier, before setting the ladder up next to it.

Sliding straight back into the ring, he has no hesitation or care as he drags Night across the ring and tosses him from the ring. He pulls Night to his feet and shoves him against the ladder before moving to the other side of the ladder… the side facing the table. Grabbing hold of the ladder with one hand and Night’s hair with the other, Gilmour starts to climb and by doing so forces the former champion to climb the far side. Once both men are at the top, Gilmour locks Night in a front face lock and steps onto the second to top rung. He hoists Night into a vertical position, however, the masked man manages to wriggle and gain momentum and swings downwards… driving Gilmour face first into the top rung of the ladder but sending Night straight down onto the ground. Night manages to catch himself slightly but still lands hard with Gilmour not faring much better and stumbling but somehow managing not to crash through the table, instead pushing the table closer towards the turnbuckle, but not off rail yet, the ladder leaning off balance and bouncing off the top rope before crashing to the ground on its side.

Gilmour crawls under the table and stumbles on the thick cables. Throwing them into the ring over the ropes, he quickly returns to Night who is still regaining his balance and dazes him with a big right hand before throwing him back into the ring.

Quickly wrapping the cables around Night’s neck, he yanks back, choking out the former champion. He hoists the cables over the top turnbuckle and hooks them under the middle turnbuckle… before grabbing the barbed wire cricket bat and driving it into the masked man’s face. Night slumps slightly and Gilmour drills him again – the cables coming loose as Night crumples onto the mat.

The Executioner holds up the bat and taunts the crowd triumphantly. He slowly turns back to finish off his prey only to be met with the cables whipping him in the face. Out on his feet and fighting to survive, Night clumsily swings his arm and again the cable whips across Gilmour’s face. The hardcore champion growls ferociously and makes towards Night, who, out of pure instinct leaps and tosses Gilmour from the ring with an exhausted hurricanrana – landing Gilmour perfectly on the table which cracks but doesn’t break!

Pulling himself to his feet, Night leans on the top rope, barely able to stand.

But seeing an opportunity… he digs deep and pulls back on the top rope…

… springboarding off…

… twisting in midair…

“CRASH!”

… and crashing through Peter Gilmour and the table with a shooting star press.

The crowd errupt as Night manages to pop up into a seated position running on pure adrenaline!

NIGHT!

A hushed voice whispers throughout the arena, seemingly from every deepest corner and from the rafters themselves.

NIGHT!

Night now hears the voice, along with the crowd, and turns his head wildly from side to side to see who it belongs to, almost instinctively raising his fists in his seated position in preparation for a fight… as if he knew this was going to happen…

HELP…

The voice doesn’t sound as though it is asking for help, rather suggesting it to Night…

LET ME…

Night now grits his teeth and clenches his fists so hard his nails dig into his palms. The lights abruptly shut off without warning, leaving the arena to be swallowed in darkness. The voice calls out once more, though this time it is firm and bold rather than a whisper.

CURE YOU.

The lights switch back on, and the crowd cheer at the sight before them. “The Hope” Isaac White stands in front of Night, observing him with head tilted to one side. Through the jet black mask and the black face paint, both men stare into each other’s eyes. After a moment, White closes his eyes and shakes his head, as though disappointed in Night. Night looks confused and lets his guard down for a split second.

White’s mouth moves and he visibly says ‘sorry’, before advancing on Night and cracking his signature white cane over his head! The crowd put their hands on their heads and grimace at the shocking sight, as Night’s head droops and lolls side to side slowly. Remarkably, Night stays sat up! A long bead of drool leaks out his mouth and onto his tights as the dazed Night raises his head. He seems to ask White ‘why?’, though Isaac shows no remorse and lunges a second time, swinging the cane full force into Night’s skull!

Night’s head snaps back and the crowd look away in revulsion. Again, Night somehow manages to stay up. He looks at White again. White is taken aback and caught off-guard for a moment at Night’s resilience, though it doesn’t stop a third attack.

KER-ACK!

THE CANE SPLITS IN HALF! White hits Night so hard with the cane that it physically breaks in two! White actually seems to have hurt his hand with that last assault, and flexes his fingers to ensure none are broken. He stares in disbelief as Night finally hits the floor, and he is flooded with heckles and boos from the crowd.

Night isn’t moving, and his chest rises up and down weakly. White approaches the fallen warrior and drops to one knee. He looks genuinely apologetic for his actions, and runs his hands through his hair. The attack seems to have emotionally drained “The Hope”, though compared to Night’s wellfare, that’s nothing. Blood now trickles down from a fresh wound somewhere under the mask, oozing down onto his neck.

White gets to his feet and begins to walk away, still looking almost ashamed of himself… Meanwhile, in the debris of the table, Peter Gilmour raises to his feet as he has been watching these events unfolding. Sensing the undeniable downfall of his longtime rival, he advances forward towards an bloody and unconscious Night – but is stopped by a chorus of cheers and a face full of metal as he is dropped with a huge chair shot… courtesy of Joseph Equinox!

The new hardcore title number one contender wastes no time in introducing himself to the champion and absolutely unloads with chair after chair to the downed Peter Gilmour.

And despite this being a Hardcore Title match, the referee seeing Night being attended to by medics and a crew of security staff hauling Equinox away from Peter Gilmour he has no choice – and calls for the bell – and as the crowd let their feelings for this decision be known, you have to wonder what the fall out of all this will be for next week…

RESULT: No Contest

SHAKEN AND STIRRED

I just finished my match and my shower. I’ve quickly rechanged into my amazingly awesome suit and tie combination, this time, leaving my laser watch in my duffle bag. Shelia is now on her cell phone, and she’s chatting with someone else now. Her conversation is even dumber now.

Shelia: “I know HunÖ I was likeÖ Barack Obama can’t bowl. I don’t know what that bitch Hillary’s problem isÖ but my Uncle Panny, he says that this chump McCain is too busy with his potatoes and his reverend Flatwell to really understand America’s problems. I was like, Uncle Panny CakeÖ listen. McCain isn’t too bad, I just wish he was uh, 20 years youngerÖ you know? And he got all pissyÖ hold on a sec BabsÖ”

She looks at me.

Shelia: “He’ll see you know Mr. Bawnd.”

I smile at her, and she points to the door. I stand up, fuss with my tie once more and head on in, but not before knocking-that’s just rude. As I walk through the door I notice a real rustic motif. Wood paneling. Dark wood floors with a big maroon carpet. Two, big, bulky brown leather chairs sit in front of a desk, as one larger chairs sits behind. Mr. Moretti is sitting doing his paper work, one henchman stands to his left. Tamara stands to his right. She’s a little flustered. It’s obvious what had happened, her top blouse button was undone. I motion for her to fix it, her, embarrassed, nods a smile of appreciation. Moretti looks up, and motions for me to sit down.

Moretti: “Mr. Bond, I understand you have some information that I might find unique and valuable.”

He looks at me as I sit across from him. His hands are folded over, and I stare at him.

Bond: “Well Mr. Moretti, it all started this past Sunday at Destiny. I was standing around backstage before my match with Millano, which I personally think was the best match of the card, don’t you agree?”

I stare at him, a veining smile awaiting his approval.

Moretti: “Well, from what I saw, it was a good match. Some say is stole the show, I’m not so sure. It really depends on your point here tonight.”

I look at him, and could tell he was annoyed by my attempt at ego stroking. I quickly get back to my story.

Bond: “Well, as I was saying, I was backstage. I was trying out some of my new spy equipmentÖ a radio controlled spy cam that looks like a spider, and this new audio equipment that allows me to hear what is happening in the spider’s vicinityÖ it’s shaped like a dead fly. Anyway, I suddenly heard what appeared to be a plot very similar to that of Ocean’s Eleven or Ocean’s TwelveÖ but I realized I hadn’t picked up some lousy movie. It was real people. Three people in fact…”

He looks at me, obviously awaiting the big news.

Bond: “One of them being Jon Page.”

He looks at me, luckily he wasn’t drinking anything otherwise he may have spat it out all over me. I wouldn’t have liked that. He looks at me, and obviously is curious as to what was said.

Moretti: “Well, Mr. BondÖ what happened? What did he say?”

I can tell he’s anxiousÖ as apparent by his vocabulary stating his anxiousness.

Bond: “Well, you’re not going to like what I found. And, I’ll tell youÖ for a price.”

He looks at me, agitated. Annoyed, pissed off. I lean back and put my feet up on his desk.

Moretti: “Well, I’m sure we can work something out. MoneyÖ womenÖ whatever floats your boat.”

I look at him, blankly.

Bond: “Money is fine, I have some. Women, I’m fine in that departmentÖ as I can tell you are too. What I want can be negotiated at another date, but I want your word. When I call in this favor, it’s gotta be done. Otherwise, this information will stay with me until it’s too late. And trust me Moretti, you don’t want it to be too late.”

He looks at me, and ponders over whether or not to trust my information.

Moretti: “Well Mr. BondÖ from what it is you said about Page, I’ll be willing to pay almost anythingÖ and if that includes a favorÖ then by all rights, be my guest.”

He smiles, and pushes my feet off the desk. I fall forward, my feet hitting the floor. I brush myself off a little.

Bond: “WellÖ then let us get down to business shall we?”

He looks at me, and motions for his goon and his poon to exit the room. I wait until I hear the door closeÖ and then continue on.

Bond: “Well MorettiÖ Page was talking to two goons about Goodfella’sÖ and let me tell you, what he’s planning is big. He’s planning onÖ”

Quickly the camera feed is cut off, and the sound goes blank. For about two minutes, the screen is focusing on a picture above Moretti’s deskÖ him standing with his first hundred dollar bill outside the Goodfella’s Casino. As quickly as the footage cut off, it cuts back too, this time, with Bond and Moretti shaking hands outside his office.

Moretti: “Well Mr. Bond I appreciate the warningÖ and let me say, I’m confident now that we’ll be working together, and if all goes as planÖ then I’m more than positive our business relationship will blossom into great friendship.”

I stare at him, smiling, and nodding my head.

Bond: “I agreeÖ and I’ll be working on phase one of Operation Dutch Boy. I’ll make sure we’re in constant contact throughout the next week.”

I make my way out of the lobby area in front of Moretti’s office. The door closing behind me. The camera pans in on Moretti. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out his black address book. He quickly writes something into it, and motions for Shelia to come to him.

Moretti: “SheliaÖ make sure Mr. Bond here has some protection from some of the outside elements. We’ve got a very important business project we’re working onÖ and I can’t afford to have ANYTHING happen to him. Capeesh?”

She nods and quickly heads back to her desk to get started on her task. He turns around and slams his door shut. The camera slowly fades out focusing on Moretti’s logo on the door, which showcases the Goodfella’s Casino in the background. The scene quickly fades to the ringside area.

Cameron Bradin: Today is dawning of a new era. Cameron Bradin has arrived in SVO and is ready to take over like a Tsunami.

He moves the microphone from his mouth and smiles to himself.

He gets down off the ropes and returns to the middle of the ring.

He stops again taking a breath

Cameron Bradin: ìExcellence Personifiedî Cameron Bradin.

He drops the microphone as his music hits out again.

LYONS AT RINGSIDE…

A light stir rumbles in the crowd at the top of the arena. Suddenly, pushing his way through the excited and clueless fans, the newest addition to the sVo roster, Lou Lyons, finds his way ringside. He looks around and doesnít pay any attention to those around him. Lyons then opens up a steel chair and sits down with his leg crossed, his eyes intense, and his mouth shut.

ìAlright, ëMr. Puroresu,í letís see what you got…î

TROUSERSNAKE

The cameras cut to the backstage area, where ever-trusty and punctual Katie Smith is standing by, microphone in hand. She is smiling as always and ignoring the many wolf whistles and cat calls from the majority of the male audience members. She raises the microphone to her mouth and speaks.

KATIE: Hello ladies and gentlemen, now for those of you who may have missed sVo Destiny for whatever reason, arguably one of the most high-octane matches of the night was “The Hope” Isaac White squaring off against Cody Williams for the coveted and much sought-after International Championship. Standing next to me right now is the man who won that title, Isaac White!

Damn, these two should really exchange numbers. What is this, like the third week in a row Katie has just happened to ‘bump into’ White? Anyway, the camera reveals White in all of his glory, title strapped around his chest and leaning on his good old cane. He smiles at Katie and gives her a bow, which causes a schoolgirl giggle to escape her luscious lips. Feel the sexual tension…

KATIE: Isaac-

What’s that? First name basis now, eh?

KATIE: – Although nobody is trying to downplay your amazing victory over Cody Williams at Destiny, tonight on Showdown you face a much bigger challenge in the form of a fatal four-way match. Not only are you facing Williams fresh out of Destiny, but you’re also going up against Kelly Flawless and the World Champion himself, Psyko Stevo. Your thoughts?

She places the mic under White’s mouth eagerly, as he carefully contemplates his answer before responding.

ISAAC: To be perfectly honest with you, Katie, tonight is just another night as far as I’m concerned. I’ve been thrown into a random match with other big names to try and sell tickets in Australia, when all I really want to do is take the night off and speak with… that special someone.

Katie’s eyes light up as though White is proposing to her. Pity.

ISAAC: Of course, I’m talking about Night.

Katie pouts. Bitch.

ISAAC: Night, please come and find me. We need to talk. You need helping, whether you want to admit it or not. And one way or another, I’m going to help you, whether you like it or not.

White looks deadly serious and raises a gloved fist.

ISAAC: It doesn’t have to amount to this, but if you don’t start helping yourself –

At that precise moment, Kelly Flawless suddenly enters the shot, whistling- completely naked. White doesn’t notice as he is looking dead ahead at the camera and continues.

ISAAC: – I will have no choice.

Flawless walks past White, and gives Katie a firm, open-palmed slap on the behind as he does so, exiting the shot. Isaac is stood bone still with his fist still raised. His lips are stuck in the same position as when they formed the word ‘choice’. It’s almost as though Medusa had just looked him in the eye and turned him to stone. No, that’s not an attempt to suggest Kelly’s pubic hair consists of several hundred serpents.

White blinks several times, as still as stone, before speaking.

ISAAC: Okay… I’ll be damned if I’m getting in the ring with him while he’s not dressed!

Katie giggles again as the feed is cut.

WHO WANTS A COOKIE?

Standing backstage with sVo interviewer Tamara Boyd is none other than Kerry Millano.

Tamara Boyd: “Tonight Kerry Millano you take on Howie Banks right here in Australia.”

She pauses as the fans out from the arena can be heard.

Tamara Boyd: “I was just wondering what your thoughts are on that match up coming shortly after this.”

She waits for an answer but unfortunately does not get one before a man dressed up in a cookie monster costume arrives at the scene. Kerry looks confused but not as much as Tamara Boyd who just stands there watching the man in the blue costume eat cookies. Kerry turns to him and proceeds to speak aloud.

Kerry Millano: “Oh, here we go.”

He rolls his eyes.

Tamara Boyd: “I wonder who’s in there.”

Kerry chuckles.

Kerry Millano: “It’s probably Kelly Flawless or something.”

Kerry takes off the cookie monster head and appearing is none other than his opponent for tonight, Howie Banks.

Howie Banks: “Hey that’s my cookie monster head!”

Howie takes it back but does not put it back on yet.

Kerry Millano: “We’ve got a match tonight and you’d rather play the thousand gimmick game some more?”

He let’s out a “JESUSFUCKINGCHRIST” statement but not over the microphone.

Howie Banks: “I’m the cookie monster and I’m here to serve the men and woman of pro wrestling.”

Kerry rolls his eyes some more as he let’s out a statement across the microphone this time.

Kerry Millano: “Well if your the cookie monster then I’m the cookie killer and tonight, you’ll see first hand, exactly what I mean … Howie Banks!”

Kerry walks off leaving Howie Banks and Tamara Boyd both standing there.

Howie Banks: “Whats his problems? Doesn’t he like cookies?”

He pauses and turns to Tamara Boyd.

Howie Banks: “I like cookies, do you like cookies? Everybody likes cookies. Mmm cookies.”

He has a big smile on his face as he begins to rub his belly. He grabs the cookie head and puts it back on and walks off leaving Tamara Boyd all by her lonesome.

AN OFFER SHE COULD REFUSE

In the office of Paige Johnson, general manager of the sVo the mood was not a happy one. As Paige sat behind her desk, she could help but feel uncomfortable as the courier leered down her shirt as she leaned over to sign his form. Paige quickly pushed the form back into the hands of the Australian courier, who smiled back at her as he handed over her package.

The forty year old man continued to stare at Paige as she ripped open the brown envelope and pulled out the pages of documents… A contract for a new sVo star to add to the roster, she sure was getting a lot of these over the last few weeks.

Paige looked up, and was rather surprised to see that the courier was still standing in front of her in her office.

Courier: “So I hear you lot are only in Australia for tonight before moving on?”

Paige nodded her head to signal yes as she rose to her feet and adjusted her tight black skirt.

Courier: “Fancy maybe getting a drink with me later?”

Paige wasn’t sure if he was talking to her or her breast due to the general direction of his eyes, however the response would be the same either way.

Paige: “Yeah I would love toÖ.. Not with you though, I’m taken.”

Paige flicked her blonde hair back as she walked over to the door in her high boots and held it open for the dejected courier to walk out.

She sighedÖ

Sometimes it was hard to be a blonde bombshell running an international company single handily.

SINGLE MATCH
Kerry Millano vs. ‘Hollywood’ Howie Banks

Got 30 down at the bottom, 30 more at the top
all invisible set, in little ice cube blocks
If I could call it a drink, call it a smile on the rocks
If I could call out a price, let’s say I call out a lot
I got like platinum and white gold, traditional gold
I’m changin’ grillz everyday, like Jay change clothes

“Grillz” By Nelly hit’s the sound system system. Howie Banks comes out wearing his normal ring gear with a robe around him that’s a golden yellow colour. It also has white jewels on it. He makes his way down to the ring as the fans try to touch him but he walks a straight line down as he gets to the ring. He walks up the steel steps and onto the ring apron as he then gets into the ring as the fans have a mixed reaction.

A split second brought the entire event to noir as the audible hum of anxious fans echoed throughout the arena. Their wait would go no further as smooth flanged instrumentals interrupted. Soon this bassless whine would slowly pick up with background drums beginning to strengthen every second that passed. The cadence quickened, accompanied by a disc jockey’s record scratching, until it finally dropped into a mellow jazz tune.

As the drum hit to begin the jazz tune, Kerry Millano took his leave of the backstage, 211 Steel Reserve bottle in hand, occasionally taking a gulp as he paced slowly down the aisle. He made sure to belittle as many fans as possible during his descent of the ramp. While he was serenaded by White Zombie’s child friendly demon groans, he continuously took swig after swig of the malt beverage he carried down with him.

Before he would enter the ring, however, he paced about the outside in search of a lucky fan. Approaching the guard rail, he menacingly glared at the crowd of onlookers who were sharing exactly how they felt about The Career Killer with their unified chants.

YOU SUCK!
YOU SUCK!
YOU SUCK!
YOU SUCK!

All he did was smirk..

That was, before spewing the ‘high gravity lager’ at entire front row in a floating mist. As he backed away, pointing and laughing, he finally rolled into the squared circle where he nonchalantly retreated to a corner. As he dropped to a seat, he rocked his head backward to rest on the middle turnbuckle providing no signs of anticipation for the opponent.

He just turned his bottle up.

What a fucking prick.

Kerry arrogantly swaggers over to the middle of the ring at his own leisurely pace, deliberately hesitating every couple of paces to argue with ringside fans and run his filthy mouth. Banks is already center-ring and licks his lips in anticipation for the match. Just as Kerry eventually draws level with Banks, he steps back to trash talk yet another one of the thousands in attendance. Banks now looks impatient as he waits for his opponent to stand opposite him so the referee can begin the match. Kerry approaches Banks once more after finishing the verbal confrontation with the crowd members and motions for the referee to ring the bell. Prick.

The bell rings and the match officially gets underway! Banks, who has been garnering favourable fan reactions of late, extends a hand as a show of good sportsmanship. Kerry smirks in disbelief and slaps Banks’ hand away. Just as Kerry turns his head to ask the crowd ‘You cheer for this guy?!’, Banks levels him with a right hand which takes him down to the mat! The crowd pop at Kerry finally getting the taste slapped out of his mouth as Banks keeps on the offence.

He grabs Millano by the head and picks him up before planting him with a nice, basic slam. He bounces off the ropes and comes back with an elbow drop on the puroresu superstar, driving the air out of Kerry’s lungs as he sits up from the impact. The crowd begin to steadily get behind “Hollywood” as he waits for Kerry to get to his feet before picking him up for a shinbreaker! Kerry clutches his leg in pain and crawls over to the corner. Banks eagerly, and foolishly, advances on Millano, who puts a stiff boot into Howie’s gut, causing him to double over in pain and clutch at his ribs. Millano runs out from the corner, ducking a clothesline attempt from the recovering Banks, and bounces off the ropes, nailing him with a textbook spinning wheel kick, earning himself a couple of camera flashes. The crowd boo Kerry as he goes for an early cover…

1!

2!

KICKOUT!

Banks manages to get his leg up before the three count is made, receiving a small cheer from his growing fanbase. Millano is now taking control of the match, as he grabs a handful of Banks’ hair to pick him up, shaking off the referee’s objections as he does so. He cuts into Howie’s chest with several serated knife-edge chops, causing the crowd to ‘WOOO!’ with each one. After several chops, Howie has staggered back into the corner. Millano tosses his hair back and makes his way over to the opposite corner. After a quick breather, he charges across the ring and hits a dropkick in the corner! Banks’ entire body leaves the ground momentarily and his head snaps back violently as Kerry’s feet slam into his chin! He could have whiplash after that!

Banks stumbles forwards from the turnbuckle and falls to one knee. Millano immediately capitalises on this opportunity and runs off the ropes again, coming back with a rolling neck snap on his opponent! He gets to his feet and begins to taunt “Hollywood”, getting himself a considerable amount of heckling from the audience. Kerry gives them a ‘Whatever’ in response and picks Banks up. Kerry tries for a European uppercut, but Banks ducks underneath the attempted move and drags Millano’s legs out from underneath him, tripping him to the canvas!

The fans cheer Howie’s comeback as he follows the surprise maneuver up with a bridged pin!

1!

2!

SHOULDER UP!

Kerry powers out of the unexpected pin attempt and manages to raise his shoulder off the mat. Howie mutters something under his breath and quickly sets about taking advantage of Millano, who was caught off-guard. He picks Kerry up by the waist and keeps his arms locked around the ribcage. Banks nails Kerry with a German suplex, driving his head into the ring like a nail! Howie keeps a firm grip on Millano’s abdomen, though, and picks him up, before slamming him with another! Again, he keeps the arms locked in place and goes a third consecutive suplex, but Kerry elbows him in the face, followed by another elbow.

Banks’ grip loosens and Millano breaks it, turning to face Howie before setting up his own suplex! Kerry sends “Hollywood” flying across the ring with a big-time belly-to-belly suplex! Howie bounces off the ring and clutches his lower back in pain. Kerry performs a swish kip-up, which actually gets him a small pop from the fans, and makes his way over to Banks, still on the canvas. He hooks the leg for the second time in this match.

1!

2!

KICKOUT!

Howie manages to kick out, much to Kerry’s frustration, who slaps the mat in anger. Millano now takes the chance to rest in the corner as he waits for Banks to get to a vertical stance. The audience attempt to warn “Hollywood” not to turn around, but in his groggy state, he takes no notice. He turns to face Kerry, who immediately sinks one of his boots into Banks’ ribcage, and scoops him up high in the air above his shoulders.

Millano earns a few more camera flashes from the crowd as he keeps Howie suspended in the air, in a rare showcase of strength from “The Career Killer”. Banks begins to see red as the blood rushes to his head, and Millano finally drops him with the Sheerdrop brainbuster suplex!

For the umpteenth time in this match, Howie’s neck crumples into the mat under the weight of his own body! If he doesn’t find the strength to fight back soon, he may very well find out just why they call Millano “The Career Killer”! Kerry inspects the damage as he surveys the area, looking at the prone form of Howie Banks in front of him. He applauds his own handiwork, accompanied with a satisfied smirk, and lazily slides in for his third pinfall attempt in the match.

1!

2!

THR-NO!

Banks musters the last few ounces of energy in his body to turn over on to his chest, breaking the cover. Kerry cannot believe it and tugs a fistful of his own hair in frustration. As Howie lies on the canvas, he kicks him in the ribs to relieve his stress. The referee soon stops Kerry’s assault and checks on Banks, who is slowly recovering. Howie must be running on back-up power now as he gets to his feet once more.

Ignoring the advice of Yoda, Millano yields to his anger and lashes out in blind rage at Banks, trying for a clothesline. Howie ducks the wild attempted move and starts to make a comeback, nailing Kerry with a quick succession of right hands and uppercuts! The crowd get behind Banks and cheer him on as he slowly gets the upper hand of the match back in his favour! He whips Millano of the ropes and tosses him high into the air with a back body drop! It’s now Kerry’s turn to bounce off the ring and hold his back in pain, as he lands with tremendous impact!

Howie continues to take the fight to Millano, who gets to his feet following Banks’ sudden combo attack. As Kerry gets to his feet, Banks positions himself behind “Mr. Puroresu Himself” and signals for a trademark move! The fans know what’s coming as Howie quickly takes Kerry down with a Hollywood Backbreaker!

The fans are now rabid and cheering on their new-found hero, who takes to the turnbuckle and ascends the ropes one at a time. With a blinding amount of camera flashes, surpassing that of a red carpet premiere, Banks leaps off the top rope and – IS PUSHED! The fans groan in dismay as Banks hits the ring hard. There’s no way he’s getting up from that one!

The cameras quickly look around the ring area to catch whoever pushed Banks from the top rope, revealing it to be “The Reflection Of Perfection” Cody Williams! What the hell he is getting involved in this match for?! The crowd boo Williams as he parades in front of them, posing and taunting Howie Banks, who lies motionless back in the ring.

Millano looks over at Banks’ prone form and does a quick kip-up, pretending to dust off his shoulders as he does so. Clueless as to Williams’ intervening in the match-up, Kerry must simply assume that his aura of awesomeness must have physically pushed Howie from the top rope.

He now signals to the fans that it’s time to end this bad boy, and picks Howie up, showing no mercy. Kerry runs into the ropes at full speed and bounces off with the momentum of a human cannonball, before coming back at Banks and damned-near decapitating him with a California car bomb ’98!! Millano hits Howie with such force he could have broken his f-ing arm! Banks twirls through the air in a violent flip before landing awkwardly on his neck!

The crowd go wild as Millano places a foot on Banks’ chest and the referee begins the count-

After a brief victory celebration over Banks, Kerry leaves the ring, still completely unaware of Cody Williams’ presence at ringside. Like flies to a steaming pile of excrement, Cody slides in under the bottom ring rope and stands over Howie.

He smirks and proceeds to pick Howie up, before DRILLING him with the Picture Perfect! The fans flood Cody with a wave of disliking, but Williams simply ignores them and exits the ring, making his way backstage.

RESULT: Kerry Millano def. Howie Banks via pinfall

HYPE WILLIAMS

As the camera pans around the packed arena, sitting off in the corner at ringside, is sVo newcomer Travis Williams…Candi Cross is standing in front of the railing, trying to catch to a word with the highly hyped star about his debut next week.

Candi Cross: I standing in front of the man known as Travis Williams, or maybe you may know him as The Dark Shadows, either way, news on from the front office is…On April 5th, 2008, sVo and Travis Williams came to terms on an agreement for him to call his new home sVo! Mr. Williams, what led to the decision of you signing a contract with sVo?

Shadows stands from his chair, removing his sunglasses. With a smirk on his face, and his baby blue eyes sparkling, he steps up to the rail, inches from Candi’s face.

Travis Williams: Any man will tell you…When times change, and places that were once big, are not big enough, you must move beyond that. You have to look at it like this. I was once his a minnow swimming in a small creek. I soon out grew that creek, and became almost a big enough to call a game fish. Now, I sit in the great lake, miles beyond of miles of open water, and I’m officially gaming material. Fishing aside, I’ve come to sVo because of all the talk, all the buzz. I do not believe rumors, they tend to be more display purposes instead of main stage attraction. So I am going to see if this is fact or fiction. Will this be the dreaded wasteland I deem my kingdom, or is it just a big lake, with a bunch of bites, but no hooking power? Next week, I’ll decide. Then again, I guess the same could be said about me. Which ever you want to foresee it as. sVo just gained a valuable member, but the other guys, they just gained a big problem! See whatever reject next week.

With that said, Travis Williams slides his shades back on his face, and with security guards clearing a path, he heads for the nearest exit.

Candi Cross: Well, he could have stayed for the show, and made his decision this week. However, back to you at ringside…

WAITING ON A CALL FROM A MYSTERY BLONDE

The cameras follow Johnny All Star backstage as he stands outside the office door of 50% sVo owner Jon Page. The bodyguard of Page knocks on the door three times before opening it and walking into the office. Jon Page is sitting behind his desk and seems to be staring at the phone that is sitting in front of him.

Johnny All Star – “What’s the matter with you, waiting for a woman to call you or something.”

A raise of the eyebrow and nod of the head from Jon Page shows just how anxious the sVo owner is right now.

Jon Page – “Yeah something like that.”

All Star senses the mood of Page as he casually walks across and sits down on the leather sofa in the room.

Johnny All Star – “I wouldn’t worry about it boss, there not worth the effort anyway.

Page stared across at All Star as he sat back and casually leafed through the latest addition of the sVo magazine. Was All Star really that stupid that he though Jon Page was sitting there waiting for any old woman to phone him. No this woman had important details regarding Page’s plans for the Goodfellas Casino, plans that could potentially take Jimmy Moretti out of the picture for good without making it look like Jon Page had done a thing.

Jon Page – “Oh this young lady is worth it, she has been coming up aces over the last few weeks, she just might be the future.”

Johnny All Star – “Yeah.”

All Star doesn’t even look up from his magazine as he responds, he had no idea of the shit storm that was about to hit him and his biological father, Mr Jimmy Moretti.

4-WAY MATCH
Psyko Stevo vs. Kelly Flawless vs. Cody Williams vs. Isaac White

The sound of a THX Dolby Digital Surround Sound test fills the arena, synched to the slow dimming of the house lights. “Head Like A Hole” (Clay Remix) by Nine Inch Nails plays on the speakers. Gold lights and lasers wander throughout the arena as smoke and the flashing of a strobe light covers the entrance way.

Bow down before the one you serve
You’re going to get what you deserve
Bow down before the one you serve
You’re going to get what you deserve

The smoke gets heavier as it settles in a foggy haze as Cody Williams makes his way through the curtain. He looks out into the crowd and turns sideways, extending his arms out to his sides. The smoke begins to clear as Cody peers behind him to see Sasha emerge from the curtain and the two make their way to the ring.

The two make their way onto the apron: Sasha slowly entering the ring, bending over and showing off her assets. Cody stares and makes motion of his heart beating fast. He slaps her on the ass and steps into the ring. He rushes to the nearest corner and raises his arms up in the air, staring into the crowd. He opens up his fur coat, exposing the sVo International championship. He caresses the belt, pounds his chest three times, and then points out to crowd and then points to himself. He jumps off the turnbuckle, doing a 180 turn and starts bouncing around while Sasha takes off his coat.

Blackness. A piercing light falls upon the stage as ‘Requiem’ can be heard distantly in the background, gradually becoming louder and louder.

A purple mist slowly begins to unravel down the aisle, creeping across the floor in a hypnotic display of twisting, serpentine tendrils.

By this point, ‘Requiem’ is playing in full force, and “The Hope” Isaac White steps out into the spotlight, leaning on his cane with one hand and pulling his hat down low with the other, International Championship gleaming across his chest.

White basks in the warm glow of the spotlight momentarily before flicking the brim of his hat up and walking down to the ring, twirling his cane in one hand. He taps his cane on the steel steps and ascends them one step at a time. He wipes his feet on the apron and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, lowering his head and allowing his hat to roll down his arm before catching it in his hand and holding it up, with his cane in the opposite hand.

After this display, White jumps from the turnbuckle into the ring and begins to shed his entrance clothing, preparing for the task at hand.

“Sensation washes over me
I can’t describe it
Pain I felt so long ago
I don’t remember
Tear a hole so I can see
My devastation
Feelings from so long ago
I don’t remember”

“Remember” by Disturbed hits the sound system and the anticipation in the arena grows as a flash of pyros welcomes the arrival of the sVo World Champion, ‘the best around’ Psyko Stevo! Stevo raises his hands in the air to taunt the fans before slowly making his way down the steel ramp towards the ring. Halfway down the ramp Stevo stops and poses once again for the fans, with another burst of golden pyros firing up into the air behind him as he does. ‘The Ironman’ then slides into the ring and bounces on the second rope to once again signal to the crowd, before retreating to the corner of the ring for some last minute warm ups before the match gets underway.

Aerosmith’s ‘Dream On’ catalyzed a chorus of jeers that resonated throughout the arena like a gunshot. The SVO faithful had rose to their feet in unison to express their amalgamated detest. It seemed as though it was something that broke the bounds of kayfabe; they had a genuine hatred for Kelly Flawless. And the only thing that superceded the intense reaction he received, and the profound dislike that the fans shared towards him, was the disturbing smirk he wore as he parted the entranceway curtain. The Blonde Bomber actually enjoyed their reaction.

He marched down the steel ramp, cackling to himself – feeding off their resentment. He had taken multiple shots at them, but he didn’t care; in his mind, he was second only to God. And even that line was a little blurred at some times.

He rolled under the bottom rope, his hair sparkling like the death of a thousand stars. His mouth was a like an out of control automatic weapon – unloading at anything that came near. He was in the ring for one sole purpose: to back up the rounds that his lips were firing.

He paced the squared circle; ready as always for combat.

The four men stand in different corners of the ring as the fans in Australia prepare for quite possibly the biggest sVo main event to date. The sVo World Champion stares down current International Champion Isaac White, who in turn is keeping a close eye on former International Champion Cody William who he beat for the belt last week at Destiny 2008. Cody Williams however is also being watched, as from across the ring the man that many tip to become the next World Champion, Kelly Flawless, looks like he is ready to take on all comers.

The referee calls for the bell to be rung, and finally its underway! Flawless quickly makes his way towards sVo World Champion Psyko Stevo who meets him with stiff right hands, whilst Cody Williams hits a quick clothesline on Isaac White to send him into the corner of the ring. Psyko Stevo hammers Flawless with big right hands, however Flawless manages to block a punch from Stevo before taking him down to the mat with a snap suplex. With the World Champion down, Kelly Flawless hits him stiff mounted punches onto Stevo. Meanwhile Cody Williams chops the chest of the new International Champion in the corner of the ring, before dragging him to the centre of the ring. Isaac White swings a first at Williams, but Cody Williams ducks out of the way before taking White down to the mat with a jawbreaker.

Kelly Flawless eventually lets Psyko Stevo up to his feet, before dragging him across the ring by the back of the head and slamming him face first into the turnbuckle. Psyko Stevo bounces out holding his face in pain, and Kelly Flawless takes him to the mat with a back suplex. Psyko Stevo hits the mat hard, but before Kelly Flawless can continue the offence, Williams intervenes with a double axe handle to the back of Flawless’s head. Flawless stumbles forward, before Cody Williams spins him around and takes him to the mat with an arm drag takedown. Williams tries to lock in an arm bar, however Flawless counters the hold with some kicks to the former International Champion.

Flawless nails Williams with a kick to the midsection, before positioning him for a powerbomb. Williams is lifted up into the air by Flawless, however before he can throw him to the mat Isaac White nails a chop block on Flawless which sweeps away his legs, and causes Williams to fall down onto the body of Flawless! Cody Williams quickly gets back to his feet, however Isaac White sends him to the mat with a reverse DDT before making the first cover of the match.
