Episode #015

A NIGHT OF APPRECIATION, NOT BOOING

As the opening video package for sVo Showdown fades into the background, the sound of A3’s Woke Up This Morning hits the sound system and the boos ring our the arena as 50% sVo Owner Jimmy Moretti makes his way out to ring! As Moretti makes his way down the entrance ramp the camera pans around the signs in the crowd, most notably ‘I’m your son Jimmy’ and ‘Best + All Star = Screwjob!’. As Moretti climbs up into the ring, he receives a microphone from the ring announcer and wastes no time in addressing the fans.

Jimmy Moretti – “Ladies and gentlemen of Las Vegas, let me introduce you to sVo Showdown 15!”

Moretti receives a cheap pop from the fans for the mention of the hometown, but the cheers don’t last for long.

Jimmy Moretti – “However not only is this the 15th episode of Showdown, tonight will also go down in history as Mike Best Appreciation night!”

The boos ring out around the arena at the mention of the current sVo Champion, something that seems to piss of Moretti.

Jimmy Moretti – “I don’t get you fans! How can you boo a man like Mike Best! A man that has carried the sVo Championship belt with pride and honour since he won it at Ultimate Victory 2007! A man that won the Hostile Violence event for the sVo by defeating Julian Fiasco in the main event! A man that is prepared to sacrifice his friendship with Johnny All Star for the sake of putting on an awesome main event for all of you at Roll the Dice! Shame on you, shame on all of you!”

Moretti is drowned out by chants of ‘Johnny Moretti’, in reference to Johnny All tar revealing that his long lost father was in fact Jimmy Moretti last week, a chant that Moretti seems to grudging accept.

Jimmy Moretti – “Later on tonight we will have the signing of the Johnny All Star vs. Mike Best main event here live on Mike Best Appreciation night, and you will not ruin it by booing tonight! I command you, I command all of you!”

Jimmy Moretti tries to stare out the crowd, but the boos only grow louder, until Moretti throws his microphone down and flips off the sVo fans before exiting the ringside area!

PAIGE IN DA HOUSE

The sVo tron flares to life as the show starts, showing Paige Johnson sitting at her desk, a pile of paperwork in front of her. She smiles and looks at the camera, addressing the people inside the arena as well as the wrestlers making their way into the ring for the Contracts on a Pole match.

Paige: Good evening everyone and thank you for attending Showdown. What you are going to witness is something innovative and exciting in this industry, the chance to put it all on the line to become Las Vegas champion. To our wrestlers, I will remind you all that within those cases are two different types of contracts, three that will allow you to take on our current Las Vegas champion, Brock Alyas, in a four way match. One of those cases has a contract for a one on one match right after the four way defense, leaving the winner of the previous match prone and weakened.

There is a slight catch to this all that will make this interesting. You may win a contract, but that doesn’t mean it is yours. Until next week when we have the official signing, there is a chance that someone can take the contract from you and sign it in your place. This means that all contracts are fair game until Showdown #16 or they are signed, which ever comes first.

So, gentlemen, I would suggest holding onto those contracts as long as you can because this might be your only chance in a while to become a champion here in sVo. Thank you and enjoy the show!

CONTRACTS ON A POLE MATCH
Alonzo Calais vs. Christian Heights vs. Drake Hazard vs. Joe Stryker vs. Joey Peyton vs. Rex Fury vs. Stampede Kid

The match starts with everyone in the ring, doing various things to keep themselves stretched and loose. The refs make sure that everyone is ready to go and call for the bell. The action starts Peyton locking up with Stryker, Kid locking up with Hazard, Calais locking up with Fury and Heights just look on in confusion. As the six competitors scrum with each other to try and get an advantage, Heights shrugs his shoulders and turns towards one of the corners, scrambling up the turnbuckles to get a chance at one of the cases. He reaches up after getting to the top of the ringpost, his hand on a briefcase.

Peyton and Stryker notice this and bolt over to the corner, slamming hard into the ropes and cause Heights to drop like a brick and slam his groin hard against the buckle itself. Heights screams out in pain as he falls limply off of the turnbuckle. Peyton and Stryker then start to fight each other for position directly underneath the same briefcase. Meanwhile, Fury has taken out Calais with a wicked snapmare followed by a drop kick to the back of the skull, leaving Calais lying out of the mat for a moment. Fury looks around and sees that Kid has placed an armbar and Hazard, who is furiously trying to get out of the hold. Fury stands next to the prone Hazard and hits a standing huracarana before scrambling over to the nearest corner and racing up the turnbuckle. Fury manages to make it up to the top before anyone can notice him and places his hand on the briefcase, but Stryker is whipped across the ring at the same time and slams home into the corner that Fury was standing in.

Fury hops up and nails a frankensteiner on the prone Stryker to avoid the same fate that Heights suffered. Peyton makes the climb up the ropes towards a case while Fury does the same thing on his end. They both manage to make it up to the top before Kid realizes that he has a tough choice to make. He shrugs his shoulders and races towards Fury as he has nearly taken the case off of the hook, running up the turnbuckle and jumping, hitting a wicked dropkick to the small of the back of Fury, who goes flying over the ropes and hits jaw first on the protective wall separating the fans from the ring. Fury bolts back to an upright position before falling backwards and out of consciousness.

This allows Peyton to take the first case off of the hook, hopping down with it in his hand.

Winner of Case #1: Joey Peyton

Peyton quickly gets out of the ring before Hazard can come after him, holding the case out for all to see. He smiles and holds it to his body as he walks up the ramp, keeping his eye on Hazard. Hazard yells at Peyton to come back but is blasted with a shoulder tackle to the back of his leg by Kid, which makes him crumble to the floor. Kid quickly gets up but is hit in the back of the head with a vicious kick by Calais that sends Kid out to the floor. Calais turns around and makes a move towards a corner that still has a case hanging over it, starting to make the slow climb up the ropes. As he reaches the second turnbuckle, Heights gets up to his feet rather gingerly and hurries as fast as he can towards Calais. He reaches Calais as Calais reaches the top turnbuckle, grabbing at his foot to prevent Calais from grabbing the case that is just within his reach. Calais tries to kick at Heights but does not want to risk hurting himself, but Heights pulls back hard and pulls Calais off of the turnbuckle. Calais hits the turnbuckle hard with his head and stumbles backwards into Height’s finishing move, The High Life. Heights makes for the corner but is stopped by Stryker, who spins him around and tries to hit him.

Heights ducks just as Hazard walks up to the two of them, allowing the Stryker punch to land directly to the jaw of Hazard. Hazard stumbles backwards as he holds onto his jaw as Heights hits a short Spear on Stryker, driving him hard to the mat. Heights gets up to his feet and turns around, making his move towards Hazard and nailing a DDT. Heights gets up as fast as he can and starts to make his way towards the nearest corner. He makes the slow climb up the turnbuckles, keeping his eyes locked on the case above him.

Kid climbs up to the apron and moves over to the corner that Heights is climbing up and tries to get him off with a few punches. Kid climbs up to the top turnbuckle as Heights does, cautiously exchanging punches until they lock up. Kid tries to suplex Heights off of the top turnbuckle, but Heights blocks it and suplexes Kid into the ring, both slamming down hard on the mat and causing the whole structure to shake. Kid flops around bit as Heights is out cold for the moment, the crowd showing their appreciation for that move with a profane chant.

Hazard is the first to get up inside of the ring, stumbling up to his feet and taking a look at the carnage in the ring. He smiles and walks over to the nearest corner with a case overhead and makes the slow climb. He reaches the top and manages to pull off the case from the hook, hopping down with a smile on his face.

Winner of case #2: Drake Hazard

Hazard rolls out of the ring and holds the case over his head, walking backwards and taunting the crowd. However, he does not see someone running up from behind and attacking him. Ascaron hits a running bulldog onto the exposed steel frame of the ramp and quickly takes the case, holding it over his head with a smile.

Holder of case #2: Ascaron

Ascaron runs towards the back laughing as Hazard lays on the ramp completely out of commission. Meanwhile Fury manages to stumble up to his feet and shake the cobwebs out of his head. He winches in pain as he climbs up to the apron and makes his way over to one of the two cases left. As he starts to climb up the outside of the turnbuckles, Stryker makes it up to his feet and spots that Fury is close to getting the case. He races over towards Fury and hits him hard in the face. Fury buckles backwards a bit but does not fall off, instead returning a huge punch to the face of Stryker. Stryker stumbles backwards slightly but returns back Fury, hitting him harder with a punch. Fury is about to fall off but manages to hold on, using the rope as a spring to snap him back. He uses that momentum to nail a huge punch to the jaw of Stryker, who stumbles back even further. As Stryker stumbles back, he is grabbed a still delirious Kid who rolls him up into a schoolboy pin attempt. Fury takes this chance to climb up the turnbuckles and reach the top, reaching up cautiously for the case. As Stryker kicks out of the pin attempt, Fury takes the case off of the hook, climbs down and quickly makes his way around the ring, looking around for any attackers.

Winner of case #3: Rex Fury

Rex carefully walks around Hazard who is starting to stir some. Hazard looks up as Fury walks by, a crimson mask covering his face and obscuring his vision. A few medics run out to attend to Hazard as Stryker and Kid stand toe to toe. Stryker yells at Kid for trying to pin him in a match that can’t be won by pin fall. Kid holds his head and yells at Stryker for yelling. Stryker pushes Kid hard and forces him to stumble backwards. Kid comes back and pushes Stryker hard, which causes an exchange of shoves. The shoves turn into fists, each stumbling back after each hit. This allows Calais to get up to his feet and see the exchange, look up at the last case hanging near him and start the climb up the ropes. Stryker and Kid still exchange blows with each other, making their way over to the ropes furthest from the last case. Calais makes it to the second buckle painfully slow as Kid presses his advantage on Stryker, peppering him with right hands. As Calais makes it to the top turnbuckle, Kid grabs Stryker and whips him across the ring towards that very same corner. Stryker stops a moment before hitting the turnbuckle, grabbing the ropes and shaking them hard. Calais shakes along with the ropes and stops his attempt for the last case, trying to maintain his balance.

Kid races over to Stryker, trying to hit a splash but Stryker moves out of the way at the last moment and allows Kid to hit the turnbuckles instead. Calais cannot keep his balance any longer as he falls over and lands hard on the outside, completely motionless. The medics race over to Calais as Stryker grabs Kid by the head and slams him into the turnbuckle over and over before hitting a reverse DDT. Stryker gets up to his feet and holds his hands over his head in celebration but does not account for Heights, who hits him with a quick kick to the gut. Heights locks Stryker into a headlock and tries to hit a brainbuster, but Stryker blocks the attempts. Heights lays in with a few more quick knees to the gut before making the attempt again. This time he hits the move perfectly, laying out Stryker completely.

Heights makes the slow, agonizing climb up the turnbuckles as Kid gets up to his feet. Kid spots Heights making his way up to the last case and tries to go after Heights, but Heights finds him off with a swift mule kick to the jaw. Kid stumbles backwards and trips over the unconscious Stryker, landing hard on his backside. Heights continues his slow climb up to the top, reaching the top turnbuckle as Kid tries to scramble over Stryker, but before Kid can reach Heights, Stryker grabs Kid by the leg and holds onto him for dear life. Heights reaches up and grabs the case, taking his time getting it off of the hook as Kid kicks at Stryker to try and get him to let go of his grip. Heights hops down and instead of smiling or celebrating, he uses the case as a weapon and hits Kid with the flush side of the case, knocking him out completely.

Heights stands in the middle of the ring with the case over his head before making his way out, making sure to keep an iron grip on his prize.

Winner of case #4: Christian Heights

RESULT: Ascaron, Christian Heights, Joey Peyton, Rex Fury def. Alonzo Calais, Drake Hazard Joe Stryker, Stampede Kid

ALL STAR – MORETTI

The sVo cameras go backstage to find Johnny All-Star walking with purpose through the backstage area. This is a different All-Star though he has a new swagger in his step, gone are the jeans and jersey replaced by khaki pants and a sports jacket and a buttoned down white shirt.

Mr. All-Star …… Mr. All-Star.

Johnny stops in his track dropping his duffle. Cocking an eyebrow he turns around fully knowing what to expect. Gonzo is rushing down the hallway, his purple towel fluttering behind him. Out of breath he stops in front of All-Star.

GG – I’m ready for my next lesson.

Johnny looks him up and down smirking.

JAS – You know what Gonzo, you caught me on a good day. I think I will take you under my wing. I mean I can see now why you latched on to me. I mean I am THE goddamn All-Star of sVo.

Gonzo can’t believe his ears as he stands there slack jawed, eyes wide under his purple mask. All-Star motions towards the duffle on the ground at his feet.

JAS – You can start with taking my bags down to my locker room, then I can find something else for you to do.

Gonzo scoops up the duffle bag grinning from ear to ear under his mask. All-Star looks him up and down before he takes off towards the locker room. All-Star pulls out his wallet tossing some bills at Gonzo.

JAS – Actually when you’re done with the bags head down to the gift shop and get yourself some decent clothes.

Gonzo grabs the money and rushes off towards All-Stars locker room.

Johnny stands there nodding as Tamara Boyd ambushes him.

Boyd – Johnny any comments on what happened last week with your big reveal and the subsequent attack by Anthony Moretti?

Johnny straightens up puffing out his chest lifting his chin looking past the camera in a dramatic fashion.

JAS – Enough with the Johnny from now on Tamara, its John, its my given name. John Moretti. As for comments on what happened last week and what my future plans are tune in, all will be revealed.

All-Star looks into the camera.

JAS – And you’re going to want to hear what I have to say.

HARDCORE SINGLE MATCH
Peter Gilmour vs. Spring Heeled Jack

The lights go out in the arena and the beginning chords of Lamb of God’s WALK WITH ME IN HELL begin to play. The lights then turn red and Max Masterson begins to make his way out to the ramp. He is dressed in a red suit and holding a Singapore cane. He looks over the crowd and begins to laugh. Soon after, Peter Gilmour comes out in a dark red cloak with no hood and the words “Xtreme” on the back. Peter meets Max and both of them throw up an “X” as fire emits in the same fashion behind them. The duo goes to the ring, ignoring the fans comments towards them. Max gets into the ring first and Peter follows behind him. Peter goes into the middle of the ring stretches out his arms and rolls his eyes in back of his head ala the Undertaker, as the lights come back on. Max takes off Peter’s cloak and Peter looks at the ramp intently, waiting on his next opponent.

The demon in your mind will rape you in your bed at night
The wisdom of ages, the lies and outrages concealed
Time it waits for no man
My future, it is revealed
Time it waits for no man
My fate is sealed

If I cancel tomorrow, the undead will thank me today
Fly in the face of your prophets, I mock your morality plays
The moon is red and bleeding
The sun is burned and black
The book of life is silent
No turning back

Fog rolls over the curtain and down the ramp. The lights snap to a hellish combination of reds and oranges. Through the veil of swirling fog ‘the dark jester’ Spring Heeled Jack prances out onto the ramp, twirling a flaming baton. The silver bells on his boots and cap jingle merrily. Skipping down to the ring Jack tosses the baton high and does a quick handspring before catching it and stamping the butt end of it on the ramp. The flames are extinguished. Spring Heeled Jack hops up onto the ring and vaults the ropes to land lightly on the canvass.

The bell sounds.

Peter Gilmour and Spring Heeled Jack are coming off of last week’s Showdown event where both men apart of one of the greatest matches to ever witness the Sanctioned Violence Organisation ring. A hardcore iron man match was contested between four competitors for the sVo Hardcore Championship. Unfortunately, neither man were able to pick up the victory but that didn’t stop neither Peter Gilmour or Spring Heeled Jack from showing up at tonight’s show. Like an old man with big grape fruits and the biggest ego in the world once said, “the show must go on.”

Paige Johnson the sVo General Manager was on hand for the match up as she sat down in front of an announcer’s table and began to do commentary with former sVo Hardcore Champion, “Hollywood” Howie Banks who was given the chance to move on up in the company last week after losing the sVo Hardcore Championship to Night. The fans were ready for this match up as it began with both competitors coming and walking up to the center of the ring.

They tie up.

Paige Johnson: “I want to say it’s nice of you to be here during this match with me to call it as a commentator.”

Howie Banks: “No problem at all. I want to say thank you for giving me the opportunity of being in the International division.”

Peter Gilmour pushes Spring Heeled Jack into the corner. He has his arms up on his throat. He begins to chop away at his chest as the fans begin to scream aloud as you know that had to hurt. Spring Heeled Jack begins to walk out of the corner but is tossed right back into the corner by his opponent Peter Gilmour. He lifts his leg up and begins to choke the life out of him with his boot. He then stops and begins to hit him with elbows to the face. Gilmour now grabs Jack and tosses him up and over the top ropes and to the outside floor.

Howie Banks: “Can you feel the dominance of Peter Gilmour?”

Paige Johnson: “He is pretty scary, although getting kicked in the crotch a dozen times last week in that match with you made him a comedy case.”

Howie Banks begins to laugh aloud.

Peter Gilmour goes to the outside floor with Spring Heeled Jack now who begins to throw punches to his mid section area. Jack then works his way up but is tossed back first into the barricade. Peter Gilmour runs towards him and nails a huge boot to his face as it sends him up and over and into the crowd. Gilmour now hops the railing and follows him in the crowd. Jack grabs a chair from one of the fans and tosses it at Gilmour’s face. Peter staggers back a bit as Jack runs and clotheslines him over the barricade but it also sends himself over as well.

Howie Banks: “These guys are capable of a lot and it’s going to really help out the Hardcore division.”

Paige Johnson: “That’s for sure. And that’s why I’m giving Peter Gilmour the opportunity to take on Night at Roll The Dice live on pay per view for the Hardcore Championship!”

Just as that is announced, we see Peter Gilmour boot Spring Heeled Jack in the mid section and power bomb him back and neck first onto the barricade. The fans are in awe as they can’t believe just what happened. Peter Gilmour picks up Spring Heeled Jack now and tosses him back into the ring. Jack is not moving at all as Peter Gilmour looks to Howie Banks and then begins to laugh hysterically as he is about ready to finish off Spring Heeled Jack. He picks him up and then tosses him up and down with his two bare hands around his neck. He then drops him down and between his legs for a choke slam!

Howie Banks: “That son of a …”

Peter Gilmour now goes for the pin.

3!!!

And it’s over.

Paige Johnson: “And that right there is why I chose him to be the #1 contender to Night’s Hardcore Championship.”

Peter Gilmour stands up and looks to Howie Banks and Paige Johnson who has a microphone in her hand.

Paige Johnson: “Impressive win, Peter.”

She pauses.

Paige Johnson: “I’ve decided that seeing as how you’ve proven yourself worthy time and time again to be the sVo Hardcore Champion. Well, I’ve decided to give you your third shot at the Hardcore Championship. No it won’t be on Showdown and it won’t be against Howie Banks because he is not the champion anymore. It will be against a man you have been running into a lot lately, that man’s name is N I G H T!”

The crowd goes wild as Peter Gilmour begins to laugh hysterically in the ring.

Paige Johnson: “Good luck, I’ll see ya at Roll The Dice.”

She stops speaking as Peter Gilmour has his hand raised as the winner of the match by the referee.

RESULT: Peter Gilmour def. Spring Heeled Jack

SHOOT SCENE

Jay Wildman sits inside of his locker room, getting himself ready for his match against the former Hardcore champion, Howie Banks. He laces up his boots as Tamara Boyd walks in with mic in hand. Jay Wildman shoots a glare at Boyd as he finishes lacing up the boots.

Boyd: Excuse me, Jay? I have some questions I have to ask you…

Wildman: Really? I thought you were hear to see a real mature specimen instead of those little boys out there… That is too bad…

Boyd: Jay, please… I want to get your reaction to the fact that the Heavyweight Champion, Mike Best, will be defending his title against Johnny All-Star at Roll the Dice.

Wildman smiles as he stands up and stretches for a moment. He looks at Boyd and his face morphs from being silly to serious.

Wildman: Let me put it to you this way, Tamara. I am happy for All-Star that he received something that I have been wanting for a very long time, he gets a crack at the champ, but there is something very hollow to this all. You see, no one cares if All-Star takes on Best, they are wanting Wildman there instead. Everyone knows that All-Star is more of a sacrificial lamb so Best can feel better about himself and not a real threat to take the title.

Boyd: Are you saying All-Star isn’t contender material?

Wildman: Let’s put it this way, if Johnny was a real man, he would know this and instead turn over that contenders shot to yours truly. However, seeing that I like to earn the things that I want, I am going to put down an offer. All-Star, if you are man enough to do it, put that contenders spot on the line next week and we can settle this in the ring. And after when I win the #1 contenders match, I will make Best’s life a living hell.

Boyd: Does this mean that you are going to be leaving Best alone tonight?

Wildman laughs and looks at Boyd as if she might have grown three heads, shakes his head and leaves his locker room, making his way out for his match.

SINGLE MATCH
Howie Banks vs. Jay Wildman

Got 30 down at the bottom, 30 more at the top
all invisible set, in little ice cube blocks
If I could call it a drink, call it a smile on the rocks
If I could call out a price, let’s say I call out a lot
I got like platinum and white gold, traditional gold
I’m changin’ grillz everyday, like Jay change clothes

“Grillz” By Nelly hit’s the sound system system. Howie Banks comes out wearing his normal ring gear with a robe around him that’s a golden yellow colour. It also has white jewels on it. He makes his way down to the ring as the fans try to touch him but he walks a straight line down as he gets to the ring. He walks up the steel steps and onto the ring apron as he then gets into the ring as the fans have a mixed reaction.

I been taking all the silver
I been saving all the gold
I’m gonna stuff it down the throat
Of a week old corpse
Save that doggone soul
I been saving up my pain
I’m gonna give it back in spades
I been strangling the cries
From the murder of love
Save your soul tonight

Bodies by Danzig hits the sound system and boos begin to ring out around the arena for sVo’s Norwegian superstar Jay Wildman. Wildman raises his hands up into the air as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp and pyros shoot up alongside the entrance ramp. Wildman then begins to slowly walk down the entrance ramp before rolling into the ring. Wildman climbs up onto the second rope to signal to the fans again, before pyros once again shoot up around the ringside arena to announce Wildman’s entrance to the ring!

Wildman stands in the middle of the ring as Banks stretches with the ropes in hand. The ref calls for the bell, but instead of locking up they both go nose to nose. The crowd goes wild as the two jaw with each other for a moment before Wildman turns around and smiles. Wildman turns around and lands a quick hook to the face of Banks, forcing Banks to stumble backwards a bit. Wildman hits Banks over and over, pressing Banks into the ropes before trying to grab his arm and whip him across the ring. Banks reverses the move and whips Wildman across the ring. Wildman hits the ropes and jumps up into the air, hitting a jumping clothesline with some flare.

Wildman quickly gets up to his feet and drops a few elbows to Banks, but on the third attempt Banks moves out of the way, which allows Wildman to slam his elbow to the mat hard. Wildman clutches his elbow in agony as Banks measures up and blasts Wildman with a huge kick to that elbow. Wildman thrashes a bit and tries to hide the elbow from attack, but Banks grabs Wildman and rolls him over, grabbing the injured arm and applying an armbar.

Wildman screams as the ref asks him if he wants to give up. Banks cranks down the hold hard, forcing Wildman to thrash around like a fish out of water. Banks yells to Wildman to give up but Wildman fights the hold until he manages to get some leverage. Wildman escapes from the hold and quickly scrambles over to the ropes, holding onto them for dear life as he shakes his arm in pain. Banks gets up to his feet and stands in the center of the ring, demanding that Wildman come after him. Wildman slowly gets up to his feet and shakes his arm again to try and get some feeling back into it.

Wildman moves up to Banks and they tie up again, but Banks manages to press an advantage and quickly grabs the injured arm of Wildman, twisting him around into a hammerlock. Wildman struggles to get out of the hold and manages to get out with a few elbow shots to the head. Banks staggers back slightly which allows Wildman to turn and hit a discus punch, dropping Banks to his back.

Wildman grabs Banks by the leg and tries to drop an elbow to the leg but the pain is too much and he shakes his head. Instead Wildman kicks Banks in the hamstring a few times, trying to get him to cramp up some. Wildman lets go of Banks leg and musters up the courage to drop an elbow on the exposed leg before locking in a leg lock. However, Wildman cannot lock the hold for too long, allowing Banks to escape.

Wildman and Banks tie up for a third time with the same result, Banks gaining the advantage and pressing it with another hammerlock. Wildman tries to counter with another elbow but Banks avoids it and presses Wildman against the ropes. Banks tries to lift Wildman up by the hammerlocked arm, but Wildman uses the rope to flip over and get out of the hold, landing on his feet. He kicks the slightly damaged leg, causing Banks to buckle a bit.

Wildman kicks over and over until Banks is on his knees, allowing Wildman to deliver a dropkick to the back of the head. Banks falls forward and drapes over the ropes, giving Wildman a chance to run towards the furthest ropes, spring off and hit a huge modified bronco buster on the back. Wildman pulls Banks back hard and lets him hit face first on the mat, quickly going for a pin.

Kick out by Banks!

Wildman gets up quickly and scrambles up the ropes, stopping for a moment to make sure that his elbow can take the abuse. While he delays, Banks gets up quickly himself and runs over to the turnbuckle, hitting it hard and causing Wildman to hit his crotch against the top turnbuckle. Wildman gasps in pain as he falls over onto his back, allowing Banks to place his boot across Wildman’s throat and use the rope as leverage as he presses down hard.

The ref comes over and counts to four before Banks lets go of the rope and takes his boot off of the throat of Wildman. Banks stomps at Wildman over and over, taking some time to taunt the fans back for their jeers. Banks then places his boot back across the throat of Wildman, using the ropes as leverage again. The ref spots this and counts to four again before Banks releases the hold and uses his mass to try and intimidate the ref. This allows Wildman to roll out of the ring, holding onto his neck and coughing.

Banks stands in the ring, hands on his knees, waiting for Wildman to get back into the ring. Wildman looks at Banks and smiles, attempting to get back into the ring. Banks charges after Wildman, who takes a step back to avoid the swipe. Wildman taunts Banks and walks around the ring, Banks slowly following him in order to try and capture him. The ref reaches seven before Wildman climbs up to the apron, allowing Banks to capture him this time.

Wildman grabs Banks by the hair and hits a guillotine across the top rope, scrambling into the ring before the ref makes it to nine. Wildman stalks Banks as he struggles to get up to his feet, waiting for him to turn around. Banks slowly turns and ducks under a super kick by Wildman, who it hit immediately with a mule kick as he turns around. Wildman crumples to the ground and allows Banks to go for a quick pin.

Shoulder up by Wildman!

Banks gets up to his feet, brining Wildman up with him. Banks kicks Wildman in the gut and calls for his set up move, The Hollywood Neckbreaker. Banks nails the move and drags Wildman’s prone body over to the corner, lining him up for the finishing move. Banks slowly climbs up the ropes and makes it to the top, taking a moment to make sure that he is lined up before attempting the Hollywood Splash.

Wildman barely rolls out of the way just in time as Banks misses the move all together, slamming hard on the mat. Wildman takes this moment to roll over Banks and go for a pin attempt, the ref drops to make the count.

Shoulder up by Banks!

Wildman can’t believe it as he looks up at the ref in appeal. The ref holds out two fingers and shakes his head, but Wildman protests with a few slaps to the mat. Wildman staggers up to his feet and grabs Banks by the leg, trying to go for a sharp shooter, but Banks quickly grabs onto the bottom rope. Wildman lets go of the hold and makes his way to the corner across from Banks, leaning down to catch his breath as he waits patiently. Banks slowly gets up to his feet and leans up against the turnbuckle to catch his breath, but Wildman charges across the ring and jumps, nailing a Stinger Splash into a snap DDT. Wildman quickly rolls Banks over into a pin attempt.

Shoulder up by Banks!

Wildman stands up and motions that he has had enough. He walks over to the same corner as before, waiting for Banks to get up.

Jay then starts to get the fans into it as Howie Banks gets up and turns around and is kicked right square in the jaw from Jay’s finisher The Super Kick. Jay falls down on his opponent for the pin.

CONFUSION WITH ROLES BEING PLAYED PT.1

Jimmy Moretti was located in his luxury office on an evening of sanctioned violence doing what he normally does.

Smoke cigars and count money.

However, Moretti wasn’t alone this evening as he usually isn’t. Instead Moretti was lounging in his office with two new associates who are new faces to the sVo regime in the name of Arch Angel and his manager, the Reverend.

Both men last week made their presence felt in the Goodfella’s Casino as Arch Angel destroyed all hope for CJ Newfield to redeem himself as a stand-up wrestler upon powerbombing the shit out of him through a table.

The fans didn’t know what to think but all they knew for sure was that CJ Newfield was a complete asshole.

To them, Arch Angel did them a favour and took out last week’s trash.

As Newfield under-went X-Rays and Cat-Scans to determine the condition he was in, tests came back negative and the mans career in sVo was extremely short lived, all thanks to the biggest man now in the sVo.

Questions were all over the world wide web all week about who this guy is and it still remains suspect. It’s known he’s now a wrestler under contract within sVo, and it’s also known that he is one mean mother fucker.

It was to no surprise that Moretti had quickly aligned himself with the demon and his side kick. As they were lounging rather comfortably in their seperate black leather love-seats.

Moretti was at his desk in his big black swivel chair on the phone and appeared to have some maitenance problems in his casino on this evening as a fight broke out upstairs at a roulette table. Rough details were what an eavsdropper would have heard as Moretti made it sound like he would have to run some interference at any given second.

This is when a knock at the door sounded and Moretti covered the phone,

Jimmy Moretti – Come in!

The man who knocked was Brock Alyas with his Las Vegas championship strapped around his shoulder.

Brock walked in with a smile on his face that was whiped off in a sense because there were two men occupying the spots Brock had since he’d made himself known in the sVo. He shook it off at first and waited standing for Moretti to finish up on the phone.

Jimmy Moretti looked at him, smiled and raised one finger to notify Brock he’d be a minute.

Upon hanging up, Moretti looked up at Brock with a smile on his face and wheeled his chair forward a bit.

Moretti – You know. Everybody thought it would be great running this place. You’ve got money being made up-stairs, wrestler’s battling for their lives infront of ten thousand, God knows WHAT Kelly Flawless has going on in his dressing room and the “VIP club” in the back. It’s a tough fuckin’ job.

The other three had puzzled looks on their face.

Well, AA had about the same look he’s had on his face since first sight. Pissed off.

Brock Alyas – What’s going on Moretti?

Jimmy Moretti – There’s a fight that broke out up-stairs. It got a bit out of hand and security told me I may need to come sort some shit out. Nothing to worry about, Brock. We’ve got Mr. Angel here whose more than willing to clean-house on a night off, aren’t ya buddy?

Brock stepped back a bit as if he were just punched in the chest.

Wow.

Brock Alyas – Well I’m glad the Head of Security is watching your back, Jim. Giving me the night off to prepare for a big match later on, huh?

Brock extended his hand with a smile on his face, hoping for a slap-five and some insurance that Moretti was excited to determine the out-come.

Instead, Moretti dropped his head and lightly shook Brock’s extended hand.

Jimmy Moretti – Yeah. About that. Mr. Angel here has agreed to join the ranks and help rid this place of that low-life Sonny Carter. You know, a hitman sort of for me. Fuck, the guy destroys a former independant legend’s career. And with STYLE.

Brock didn’t know what to think right now. A deep wind of uncomfort struck him and he was left standing puzzled. The Revernd caught a brisk chuckle from the interaction and smiled at Moretti who more than seemingly smiled back.

Jimmy Moretti – No worries, though, Mr. Alyas. I’m sure you’ll do just fine tonight against Johnny. Unfortunately, we’re extremely busy tonight and I’m going to have to attend to something upstairs with these gentlemen. Good luck Brock.

So it was like that now. Moretti had found himself a new Hitman to do his dirty work. Brock was just a wash-up back up plan to help Moretti establish himself as the King of sVo.

The Juggernaut accepted what just went down and nodded his head a couple time’s as he was politely asked to leave Moretti’s office.

The winds of change were blowing hard tonight in the town of Las Vegas, Nevada.

SINGLE MATCH
Brock Alyas vs. Johnny All Star

The sound is cut… the lights are slowly dimmed to complete darkness and the pyrotechnics are in perfect correlation with the PA as it’s punished with the baseline of “Would” by Alice in Chains. Brock keeps the fans waiting and only shows his face when the powerful voice of Layne Staley begins his chorus….

INTO THE FLOOD AGAIN
SAME OLD TRIP IT WAS BACK THEN
SO I MADE A BIG MISTAKE
SO TRY AND SEE IT ONCEE MY WAYYY
The fans give a significant reaction after the Juggernaut, Brock Alyas makes his way to the ring. Alyas looks past the fans with a grim smirk on his face, his eyes on the prize in the center of the arena, within the ring. The monster of a man steps through the second and third rope and leans on a corner turnbuckle in anticipation of the warfare to begin…

Fallin’ asleep at the wheel again baby,
You’re driftin’ over the line (the line) Yeah.
Your hands are tight but you’re losin’ grip quickly
Fix me, can you read the signs?

Thumbin’ your way to Vegas, dirty
And Dreamin’ of the other side…
Save your tears and laughter because
It doesn’t matter what you find

‘Pretty Vegas’ hits the sound system and there is a mixed reaction from the crowd as the former sVo International Champion Johnny All Star steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp! All Star holds his arms high in the air, before slowly making his way down the entrance ramp and sliding into the ropes. All Star once again raises his arms high into the air as he leans forward against the ropes, causing a burst of pyros to shoot up behind him.

The bell sounds.

Brock Alyas and Johnny All Star begin the match by coming to the middle of the ring. They quickly tie up. The referee watches for any foul play but none is detected while the fans watch on and are excited to see these two men battle it out. Johnny All Star pushes Brock back into the corner but is quickly pushed out by the opponent. Brock then runs at him but is back body dropped up and over his back side and to the ring mat. All Star quickly gets on top of him and hooks his leg for a pin cover.

Johnny continues the assault as he picks Brock up and body slams him down to the ring mat. He walks over and hops up on the second rope now as he comes crashing off with a big elbow drop across the chest area of Alyas his opponent. Johnny takes a couple of seconds before doing anything else as the maneuver had a bit of a toll on himself as well. Johnny now puts his arm over Brock’s body as he lays down across him looking for a pin fall.

1..

2..

All Star isn’t finished yet though. He picks Brock back up but is whipped to the corner. Brock runs in and catches him with a clothesline. Alyas then grabs him and whips him to the ropes. Johnny comes back and is back elbowed to the face. He goes down as Brock Alyas looks to the fans and then back to his opponent. Brock grabs Johnny by the head and hair as he lifts him up to a standing position. He then boots him in the mid section, runs to the ropes and comes back with a swinging neck breaker as he takes him down. He hooks his leg for a cover.

1..

2..

Still nothing more then a two count though as Johnny All Star and Brock Alyas continue to put on a reasonable good match up. Brock continues the assault by kicking him in the back area as Johnny rolls around in pain. He grabs the ropes and tries to help himself up as Brock looks to damage his body some more. That is until Johnny grabs him and tosses him through the middle ropes and out to the ring apron. Johnny gets up and grabs a hold of Brock who is about to be suplexed over the top ropes.

All Star can’t do so though as Brock holds onto the ropes. He now reverses it and just steps off the ring apron and to the outside floor. Bringing Johnny All Star’s throat down and across the ring rope. Brock hurries back in the ring now as he gets on top of him and begins to pummel him with right hand shots. The referee tells him to back off and he does. Brock now lifts up Johnny and is about to go for a german suplex. Instead though, All Star back elbows him in the face. All Star now whips him to the ropes and then runs at him with a big boot. Brock however ducks it and has All Star’s leg upwards on his shoulder as he takes him straight down to the ring mat! What a front russian leg sweep by Brock Alyas.

Here’s the cover.

That’s all she wrote. What a great match up.

RESULT: Brock Alyas def. Johnny All Star

TINY BLUE BOX

Fading into the backstage area we see Cody Williams and Howie Banks sitting in chairs facing each other, talking amongst themselves. Cody is wearing a black: “Perfection Personified” t-shirt which is on sale for $19.95 at the sVo shop!!! Howie on the other hand is standing there after just finishing a match up with Jay Wildman.

Howie Banks: You came close last week Cody.

Cody Williams: I know. I gave it everything I had but fell short. Alex Ross and everyone knows that I should be the International champion right now.

Howie Banks: Then where’s your belt?

Cody Williams: In due time. I’ll get another shot. And this time, it will have a HAPPY ending.

Howie Banks: We’ll see.

Cody Williams: So… Did you get it?

Howie Banks: Yeah, I picked it up a couple of days ago. It’s in my bag, you want it?

Cody Williams: Yeah. I’m gonna do it.

Howie Banks: You must really love her.

Sasha: Hey guys..

The door to the locker room swings open and Sasha walks through, wearing a ruby red dress. She makes her way towards Howie and Sasha, while Howie drops something into his duffel bag.

Howie Banks: Hey…

Cody Williams: Uh, hey babe.

Sasha: What are you guys doing?

Cody Williams: Just you know. Man talk.

Sasha: Yeah?

Howie Banks: Yes ma’am.

Cody Williams: Hey hun, could you do me a favor and get me a bottled water?

Sasha: Sure thing.

Cody Williams: Thanks.

Sasha: You sure everything is alright?

Howie Banks: Uhh, everything is.. Umm fine!

Cody Williams: Yeah.. Things are.. Picture perfect!

Sasha: Alright.

She takes one more look at the two who try to play it off with smiles and look at each other. Sasha turns back around and leaves the room. Howie wipes his forehead while Cody drops his head with a sigh of relief.

Howie Banks: Phew!

Cody Williams: Yeah, that was close.

Howie reaches into his duffel bag and pulls it out and hands it to Cody who has a grin on his face. The camera zooms in to show a tiny blue box with a gold ribbon in the palm of his hand.

SINGLE MATCH
Psyko Stevo vs. Kelly Flawless

The fans rise to their feet as the intro to “Remember” by Disturbed hits the PA.

Sensation washes me over
I can’t describe it
Pain I felt so long ago
I don’t remember
Tear a hole so I can see
My devastation
Feelings from so long ago
I don’t remember

As the lyrics play, the sVo Tron lights up and the words, “The past is in-des-truct-able” individually fill the screen in between shots of some of Psyko Stevo’s greatest career moments . Once these words are finished playing, green mist starts to spew from the backstage area before golden pyro shoots out, illuminating the ring. As the pyro subsides, the fans pop as out from the mist emerges the sVo International Champion himself, Psyko Stevo. Stevo raises his arms, and the International title, in the air as the fans once again pop.

Blind your eyes to what you see
You can’t embrace it
Leave it well enough alone
And don’t remember
Cut your pride and watch it bleed
You can’t deny it
Pain you know can’t be ignore
I don’t remember

As the second verse plays, Stevo marches down the steel rampway and starts to high five some of the fans at ringside. Stevo then tosses his International title over the top rope, into the center of the ring before sliding under the bottom rope and quickly hopping up to his feet. As the official collects Stevo’s International title, the Psyko One hops up onto the far turnbuckle and the fans erupt in cheer. He repeats this process on the opposite turnbuckle before jumping back into the ring and getting ready for the match at hand.

Aerosmith’s ‘Dream On’ catalyzed a chorus of jeers that resonated throughout the arena like a gunshot. The SVO faithful had rose to their feet in unison to express their amalgamated detest. It seemed as though it was something that broke the bounds of kayfabe; they had a genuine hatred for Kelly Flawless. And the only thing that superceded the intense reaction he received, and the profound dislike that the fans shared towards him, was the disturbing smirk he wore as he parted the entranceway curtain. The Blonde Bomber actually enjoyed their reaction.

He marched down the steel ramp, cackling to himself – feeding off their resentment. He had taken multiple shots at them, but he didn’t care; in his mind, he was second only to God. And even that line was a little blurred at some times.

He rolled under the bottom rope, his hair sparkling like the death of a thousand stars. His mouth was a like an out of control automatic weapon – unloading at anything that came near. He was in the ring for one sole purpose: to back up the rounds that his lips were firing.

He paced the squred circle; ready as always for combat.

And this is what it comes down to.

The battle for arguably the most charismatic wrestler the sVo has to offer.

The bell sounded and both combatants sized each other up before the first pursuit. Pysko Stevo made the first move forcing KFlaw to flinch as it appeared as if he was going in low but instead went high and caught the Blonde Bomber with a nicely placed haymaker across the jaw.

Suspect move from Pysko Stevo but he wanted nothing more than to put the Nutless Wonder out of his misery on his way to regaining fame as sVo’s best wrestler. Stevo grappled with Flawless and eventually took him into the corner and slammed the Blondie’s head into the turnbuckle numerous times.

Stevo turned his opponent around whipping him into the opposing ropes to come back to a nicely placed elbow that caught Flawless off-guard and sent him to the mats.

Stevo was relentless in picking Flawless up and whipping him into the opposing ropes one more time to go for a big-time clothesline that would really put momentum in his favor. The Blonde Bomber ducked the clothesline and sprung into the ropes behind Stevo coming back with a world of momentum and dropped Stevo with a drop kick to the teeth.

Ouch.

Stevo hit the mats with authority and Flawless wasted absolutely no time taking advantage of it and forcing the Pysko One to his feet and with a couple useful kicks to the gut Flawless took Stevo over with a suplex that kept Stevo in the air for an extended period of time.

Flawless fell-out and Stevo’s back whacked the canvas. One of those nicely executed, crowd go “ooooh” suplexes. Awwwww yeah.

KFlaw tipped back up to his feet and Stevo came shortly after but was mowed over with a wicked spear sending him back a couple ticks. This wasn’t one of those pussy spears either, Stevo’s head hit the mats with a thug and the fans knew it had to have hurt.

Flawless tried to put the contest on ice with a pin fall.

One!

Two!

Nooo!

Stevo kicked out in the nick of time and forced Flawless from keeping his shoulder on the mat.

KFlaw was a bit agitated with the ref’s delay in the count and made his voice clear as he once again lifted his opponent up and dropped the Pysko One a knee to the groin.

Flawless was running away with this one and allowed his opponent to get up on his own will this time. Stevo took a bit extra time and it paid off because a spinning heel kick to the gut was the last thing KFlaw expected and it took the wind out of him as he dropped to his knees in exasperation.

Stevo took advantage running into the ropes behind where Flawless was located in the middle of the ring and smacked the Golden Boy’s pretty face against the mats with a timely bull dog that took KFlaw over.

Stevo then resorted to his submission game and used the camel clutch to perfection as KFlaw was dangerously near to tapping out.

The Golden Boy used his teeth to knaw Stevo’s hands from around his chin and the ref warned the Golden Boy to quit the shit.

Stevo kicked KFlaw while he was on all fours and put him back down to his stomach. Stevo backed off for a second to catch his breath and that’s when KFlaw saw the opening.

The opening to being put right back down to the mats.

WHAM.

Clothesline with AUTHORITWAAAW delivered to Kelly Flawless that turned him inside out in the middle of the ring.

The Golden Boy quickly got back up and both men exchanged punches before a timely knee to the gut put the advantage in Stevo’s corner where he capitalized with a suplex of his own that looked as if it were going to set up the Pysklone.

The fans jumped to their feet as Stevo ran into the ropes behind Flawless as he was out on his feet and as soon as Stevo hit the second rope and jumped back in a 180º fashion attempting the kick from hell known as the Pysklone, KFlaw just simply ducked under it.

The match was anybodies at this point as both men were rushing back towards each other and grappled in the middle of the ring. KFlaw managed to work Stevo over and forced him into the corner where he worked up the ladder with combination punches eventually getting to Stevo’s face where he mixed it up with a rage of punches to the gut and facial area.

WHACK!

One solid one to remember and that Stevo would feel in the morning put the Pysko One in a DAZE and KFlaw sought after no better time to drop a PICTURE PERFECT Falcon Arrow in the middle of the ring.

A maneuver used NEVER so often in professional wrestling that made the sVo fans really appreciate what Kelly Flawless brings to the table.

The high impact maneuver gave the Golden Boy enough time to climb the ropes backwards and drop a high impact Moonsault onto a fatigued Stevo and you KNOW KFlaw finished it up with a pin fall attempt.

One!

Two!

Three!

NOOOOO!

Stevo kicked out in the NICK of time and kept this contest alive as the fans were just in awe of the action displayed here tonight. KFlaw was jawing at the ref as he along with thousands in attendance thought this match was on ice.

He was fighting with the ref a bit too long as Stevo rushed to his feet and bullrushed KFlaw from behind both men going face first into the ropes. KFlaw reacted almost the only way he could of and dropped a deadly elbow that DEFENITELY broke kayfabe here tonight as Stevo’s already wounded nose began to increasingly fall.

It looked as if KFlaw had enough here tonight and lifted Stevo into the air suplex style. It wasn’t long before Flawless BRILLIANTLY turned a suplex into a face buster in the middle of the ring.

WHAT THE FUCK!

Flawless immediately jumped on Stevo and the referee was right in position to determine what the outcome would be.

One!

Two!

Three!

It was over.

Kelly Flawless establishes himself as a force to be reckoned with in the sVo after a big win over Pysko Stevo and the fans weren’t unimpressed either.

“Dream On” by Aerosmith blared into the PA and Kelly Flawless celebrated a huge victory in the ring, putting together a string of four now to add to his repertoire here.

RESULT: Kelly Flawless def. Psyko Stevo via pinfall

DREAM COME TRUE

The sound of a THX Dolby Digital Surround Sound test fills the arena, synched to the slow dimming of the house lights. “Head Like A Hole (Clay Remix) by Nine Inch Nails plays on the speakers. Gold lights and lasers wander throughout the arena as smoke and the flashing of a strobe light covers the entrance way..

Bow down before the one you serve
You’re going to get what you deserve
Bow down before the one you serve
You’re going to get what you deserve.

Out steps the long legged, vuluptuous, dark haired Sasha who stops at the top of the ramp. She looks at the crowd who is in awe of her beauty. She giggles then turns back and points to the entrance. Through the curtain comes “The Reflection of Perfection” Cody Williams. He moves to the right of the ramp and looks at the crowd before heading towards the left. He looks at Sasha and moves close to her, embracing her and staring deep into her eyes. He kisses her on the lips and embraces her hand. The two make their way down to the ring, Cody taking his time with an overwhelming bit of confidence in his step. The two make their way onto the apron: Sasha slowly entering the ring, bending over and showing off her assets. Cody stares and makes motion of his heart beating fast. He slaps her on the ass and steps into the ring. He rushes to the nearest corner and raises his arms up and stares into the crowd. He jumps down and makes way to the center of the ring. He pulls a microphone out of his pocket and raises it to his lips..

Cody Williams: Last week, you were treated to one of the greatest wrestling matches in sVo history when I squared off against Alex Ross. Although I may have fell short in my quest for championship gold, it is far from the end. Cody Williams WILL be your International champion and you can BET on that!.

The crowd gives a mixed reaction, some applauding Cody for his efforts while the remainder fill the arena with blistering boos. He shrugs off their chants and cheers and puts a grin on his face..

Cody Williams: But that’s not why I am here tonight. After a brutal five star ladder match last week, I saw it in my best interest to take some time off to recooperate. And as much as I would have enjoyed going back home to California, I opted to stay here in the City of Sin. The reason why I am here tonight, is because there is something that I have to get off my chest. It’s something that I have been meaning to do for the longest time, but never got the courage to do so. Until now!.

He drops the microphone down and pauses for a second. He then turns his attention to Sasha who looks at him with a confused look on her face. He takes a step forward towards her and raises the mic..

Cody Williams: Sasha.. We’ve known each other for almost 10 years now. And the last several years have been the most enjoyable. You were always there for me, to support me, during my ups and downs, and you cared for me with a tender, loving heart. When I broke my neck, you never left my side. You stayed by my side until I got better and you always gave me words of encouragement and made me believe that I could be able to walk again. You are the reason why I am able to stand and walk around and be able to wrestle again. And the last few years as boyfriend and girlfriend have been great, and I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world. But, sadly to say.. I can’t be your boyfriend anymore..

The crowd shows their disbelief and disapproval and start booing Cody shouting “You SUCK!” and “You’re.. A.. Loser!”.

Cody Williams: I can’t have you be my girlfriend, I just don’t see you as my girlfriend anymore. I see you as my wife!.

The entire arena gasps as Cody slowly gets to one knee in front of Sasha. He grabs her hand and holds it up. The tears start to fall down Sasha’s face as she can’t believe what’s going on. Her free hand comes up to her face and covers her mouth..

Cody Williams: One look in your eyes, and I knew the two of us would be together. I looked into your eyes and now you are all I see. You’re the first thing I think about when I wake up, and you’re the last thing on my mind before I go to sleep. I would love nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with you. Sasha…

He reaches into his back pocket and pulls out the tiny blue box. He unravels the ribbon and opens up the wrapping paper, exposing the black ring box. He pulls it open to reveal a 2 carat, four prong, princess cut diamond ring. Sasha’s eyes widen and smiles in content..

Cody Williams: Will you be my wife?.

Sasha: …..YES!!!.

She starts nodding her head ecstatically. Cody raises his arms into the air and hugs Sasha, spinning her around the ring as they lock lips. The audience begins to clap for the newly engaged couple. Cody raises his and Sasha’s arm and starts pointing at the ring. He looks at Sasha again and hugs her once more..

Cody Williams: She’s going to be my wife!.

His music starts to play as the two exit the ring and head back up the ramp. They cannot take their hands or eyes off each other as they continue to head up the rampway.

sVo CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Mike Best vs. El Hombre Blanco

As the main event is set to begin, a single gold spotlight hits the entranceway, beaming off the curtain with a shimmering glow. The lights in the arena dim down, and a drum roll begins from the sound system, followed by the hailing of trumpets. On the Tron above, the name of the SVO Champion, Michael Best, fades in, with bold gold letters bordered in black. Behind them, a large king’s crown appears.

As the trumpeting hits a fever pitch, the curtain parts. Making his way through the entranceway, perched high upon a large throne of a chair atop a parade float, is sVo Champion Michael Best, a crown on his head and a golden robe over his wrestling attire. The crowd is very vocal in their hatred of the champion, but he smirks cockily and waves out into the crowd, ignoring their jeering as he makes his way down the ramp on the float. Finally, he slowly descends to the ring steps from atop his mighty chair, ducking through the ropes and into the ring. He removes his crowd and robe, stretching in the corner as the referee takes his championship belt.

Suddenly, “Macarena” by Los Del Rio begins to play over the speakers, and the fans look strangely confused as the Swedish flag appears on the Tron, as El Hombre Blanco appears from behind the curtain. He’s wearing his customary gold tights and mask, but the Mike Best alter ego is quite OBVIOUSLY being played by Kelly Flawless tonight. Even the tips of his blonde hair peak out from the eye holes. He marches down the ramp to the catchy 90’s dance craze, rolling into the ring and dancing around a little bit. In the other corner, Best demands a microphone from the timekeeper.

Best – It’s Mike Best Appreciation Night, ladies and gentlemen, and we have a very special treat for you. I’m the kind of champion who gives back to his fans, let’s face it, what better way to give back than to give them a World Championship match, right here in Las Vegas? So without further ado, let me introduce you, ladies and gentlemen, to the great EL HOMBRE BLANCO!

The crowd boos, as Best ushers towards Kelly Flawless in his golden luchador garb. El Hombre Blanco takes a little bow for the crowd. The referee holds the championship up in the air, rolling his eyes, before lowering it and signaling for the bell to be rung.

El Hombre Blanco raises his arms, appealing to the crowd as he’s showered with boos, and he steps towards the champion. Suddenly, he rears back and cracks him across the face with a vicious slap! The crowd goes NUTS! Best goes wide-eyed, but he steps back forward, holding his face. He hasn’t even dropped the microphone yet as he rears back to retaliate. He raises his hand back, telegraphing the shot, but right before he makes contact, he stops, and holds the microphone to his lips.

Best – ANNNNND CUT! Stand in!

Blanco grins through his mask as he quickly drops down to his back and rolls out of the under, under the ropes. As he does, a much smaller man scurries out from under the ring, a long ponytail protruding from the back of his identical looking El Hombre Blanco costume! He slides into the ring, taking Flawless’ place as Blanco.

Best – AAAAAAAND ACTION!

Best finishes the slap, barely making contact with the stand in as his open hand grazes his face. However, the shot is sold to maximum effect, and Blanco drops like a sack of potatoes onto his face, his eyes closed. He lies there ‘unconscious’, as Best drops for the cover.

1….

2…..

3…….!

The bells rings as the referee grumpily calls for the end of the match. Flawless jumps back into the ring, ripping off his Blanco mask, and celebrating in the ring with the champion, wrapping him in a sentimental but manly hug, obviously done just for the heat.

After a moment or two, Johnny All-Star and Alex Ross make their way down the entrance ramp, applauding the champion as they push between them a large cake with the words “Best Appreciation Night” scrawled on them in icing. Meanwhile in the ring, the stand in still lies unconscious, and a team of EMTs rush down to ringside to check on him. All-Star and Ross carry the cake up into the ring as they load Blanco onto a stretcher, securing him into place with straps and a neck brace.

All-Star grabs the microphone from the canvas where Best dropped it.

All Star – Just a little something to show how much you mean to us, champ. You’re… you’re like a broth… I… I… I just can’t do this, it’s too hard.

He sniffles, pretending to blow his nose on his t-shirt. However, before the party can continue, the crowd goes wild as All-Star and Ross are knocked to the canvas by a Kendo stick wielding Jay Wildman! They both go down, as Best and Flawless jump in surprise, bailing out of the ring and to the concrete below. Wildman picks up the fallen microphone.

Wildman – Come on, champ! That’s what we get tonight? ANOTHER blow off match? These fans are getting tired… I’M getting tired… of watching you weasel out of match after match. I’m getting tired of watching you call yourself a champion while showing such disrespect. And more than anything, I’m getting tired of….

He would have continued, but at that moment Kelly Flawless slides into the ring from behind Wildman, nailing him securing in the testicles with a balled up fist! The fans continue to boo as the rest of the stable gets back into the ring, stomping and kicking the contender as they decide to stop being cowards and get back involved. Finally, Flawless and All-Star hold up Wildman as Best stands in front of him, spitting in his face.

Best – You wanna play games, smart ass? You wanna come out here and ruin my special night with more of your bullshit scare tactics? Well I’m gonna tell you one last time, and it better stick this time. You will never, and I mean NEVER, get a shot at this sVo Championship. If you want this title, you’re gonna have to pry it out of my cold, dead fingers.

He snaps his fingers, and the other two stable members drop Wildman. Showdown goes off the air with the booing of the fans as a broken Jay Wildman lies in the ring, and Best et al make their way laughing back up the ramp.

RESULT: Mike Best def. El Hombre Blanco

ROLL THOSE DICE

Once again tonight A3’s Woke Up This Morning hits the sound system and Jimmy Moretti makes his way down towards the ring! The crowd boo Moretti as he steps into the ring, which has been transformed after the last match to have a red carpet over the ring with a desk sitting in the centre. Moretti steps up into the ring before receiving a microphone to address the booing crowd.

Jimmy Moretti – “What the fuck did I tell you earlier tonight, no booing on Mike Best appreciation night!”

The crowd continue to boo even louder.

Jimmy Moretti – “No matter what you idiots all think, tonight we will cap off a great Mike Best appreciation night by signing the match that you all want to see in the main event of Roll the Dice, a match handpicked by your sVo Champion…… let me reintroduce to you, MIKE BEST!”

Stronger by Kanye West hits the sound system and boos sound around the arena as the sVo Champion Best steps out onto the top of the entrance stage with the belt strapped around his waist. Best raises his hands in the air, before slowly walking down the entrance ramp. Best finally climbs into the ring and sits down on one of the two seats set up at the desk in the centre of the ring.

Jimmy Moretti – “Ladies and gentleman the Champ is here!”

The crowd continue to boo as Mike Best shows off his trademark smirk.

Jimmy Moretti – “And let me introduce to you….. my very own son….. Johnny All Star!”

Moretti looks hesitant to introduce All Star as his son, but despite that fact ‘Pretty Vegas’ hits the sound system and Johnny All Star soon makes his way down the entrance ramp! All Star looks in a confident mood as he steps into the ring and sits down opposite his stable mate Mike Best. Best and All Star exchange knowing looks as Jimmy Moretti places a contract down in front of Mike Best.

Jimmy Moretti – “Ladies and gentlemen, the main event contract for Roll the Dice, Mike, if you would do the honours.”

Moretti passes Best a pen from his inside jacket pocket and the champion signs his name on the contract. The crowd begin to chant ‘Bullshit’ as Best pushes the contract infront of Johnny All Star.

Johnny All Star soon scribbles his name on the contract before turning to a grinning Jimmy Moretti.

Jimmy Moretti – “Ladies and gentlemen, the main event match for Roll the Dice is signed and seale……”

Jimmy Moretti his cut off as “Hip Hop” by Dead Prez hits the sound system and the crowd pops as Jon Page steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp with a microphone in his hand.

Jon Page – “Wait a minute Jimmy, it seems to me that your booking a match here that no body actually wants to see! Stable mate vs. stable mate, the whole world can see that this one has ‘screw job’ written all over it!”

The crowd pop, but Moretti shakes his head and Best and All Star look offended.

Jimmy Moretti – “This match has been handpicked by our champion! It has match of the year written all over it!”

Jon Page – “Well with that being said, the fans are the ones paying for this PPV, so in the interests of keeping them happy I have taken it upon myself to add a little bit of extra spice to the match!”

Suddenly and without warning, out of the crowd leaps Psyko Stevo with a steel chair who rolls into the ring behind All Star, Moretti and Best! Psyko Stevo quickly slams the chair into the back of the Champions head, sending Best down to the mat! The crowd pop, as Psyko Stevo quickly nails Johnny All Star as he turns around to help his team mate! With All Star and Best down, Psyko Stevo comes face to face with the sVo owner Jimmy Moretti, with everyone in the crowd seemingly willing Psyko Stevo to nail the owner as well! Psyko Stevo looks around at the crowd, before duly obliging and taking out Moretti with a steel chair shot to the face!

With the crowd in raptures, Psyko Stevo carefully picks up the pen from the desk and scribbles his name alongside Best and All Star’s on the contract! Psyko Stevo picks up the World Championship belt from the body of Best and stares into it with a grin on his face, as Jon Page watches from the top of the entrance ramp! Mike Best appreciation night has ended on a low note for the champion, and we have a triple treat main event on our hands at Roll the Dice as Showdown #15 goes off of the air!
