CUSTOMS SECURITY

As Showdown 10 gets closer and closer to starting, we go to the front of the Goodfella’s Casino, you know… where all the fun and games go down. Poker… drinking… Strippers? No, there were no strippers there, unfortunately that is…

“Hollywood” Howie Banks appears to be talking to none other than Jimmy Moretti.

“Hollywood” Howie Banks: “So what you are telling me, is that I need to pass some sort of customs before it can be shipped to the back?”

Banks waits for a response, sort of confused on the situation.

Jimmy Moretti: “That’s correct.”

Jimmy stands there, looking back at Banks who has something more to say.

“Hollywood” Howie Banks: “Well, how about I just tell you what it is and you let me know by next week whether or not it’s allowed.”

Moretti gives it some thought, then comes up with an answer.

Jimmy Moretti: “Why can’t you just bring it this week and we see for ourselves?”

Banks was quick to answer back.

“Hollywood” Howie Banks: “Well, because ever since I was given it, you know… A few Showdown’s ago or so, I have had it on the back of my truck loaded and ready to do this sometime. So really, bringing my truck and leaving it for a week isn’t good, cause I need to get to places, you know what I’m sayin’, boss?”

Jimmy nods.

“Hollywood” Howie Banks: “So how about you tell me if I can bring it next week or not and if so, I’ll just bring it then, okay?”

Howie smiles.

Jimmy Moretti: “Alright, what do you have in mind?”

Howie takes his arm and places it over the shoulder of Jimmy Moretti as they go walking off somewhere in the Goodfella’s Casino to discuss it. They fade out of scene as they make a left turn…

TIME TO KILL

We are backstage at the sVo arena in Las Vegas, Nevada as we are mere moments away from the start of Sunday Night Showdown. Candi Cross, sVo’s lead interviewer is standing in front of a black curtain which says “sVo” on it. She is wearing a sexy red dress showing a little cleavage. The cameraman tells her that they are ready to start filming and she adjusts her microphone and then flashes a sexy smile into the camera as she is about to speak.

Candi: Hello sVo fans I’m Candi Cross and tonight we have star-studded show for you all. My guest at this time is a newcomer to the sVo, accompanied by his manager Max Masterson, ladies and gentlemen, The Executioner Peter Gilmour!

Peter comes in and stands next to Candi and looks her over and gives her a smirk.

Candi: Umm, where is Max, Peter?

Peter points to behind Candi and she turns around and screams at the top of her lungs as Max comes in wearing a Slipknot mask. Candi drops the microphone momentarily, but picks it up as both Peter and Max look over Candi’s curvaceous body. Candi composes herself and begins to ask Peter a question.

Candi: Peter, welcome to the sVo. Tonight, you fight another newcomer in the man called KILLA. What is your…

Peter snatches the microphone from Candi.

Peter: Hit the bricks toots.

Candi goes off giving Peter a mean look.

Peter: Now, for those who don’t know me, let me re-introduce myself. My name is Peter Gilmour otherwise known as THE EXECUTIONER! I have been in this business for 9 years and have held 15 world titles. I guess you can say I am a legend in this sport. This is my good friend and partner Max Masterson. We are both a part of the best damn tag team to ever step foot inside a wrestling ring, THE PUREBRED KILLERS! Speaking of killers, that brings me to my so called “opponent” Killa. Killa, tonight is a historic night for both of us. This is our first match in the sVo. I want this to be a classic match. You see, when you destroyed my car, I was a little bit pissed. But I got that car from my ex girlfriend Ashley Marie.

Max: I thought you weren’t going to speak of her again.

Peter: I know Max, but after Killa destroyed the car that Ashley got me for my 29th birthday, I felt a big chunk fall off my shoulder. Ashley never meant anything to me anyways. She’s off probably screwing other men in other federations anyways. Who cares. Anyways, Killa you did however commit the cardinal sin by trying to show me up. In all my years of wrestling, no one has mocked me like the way you did. And for that, you must be sentenced. And tonight, I will bring down my judgement. Your judgement Killa, is DEATH! That’s right Killa, tonight you will be taken to the ultimate Xtreme when I beat the living hell out of you and leave you lying in a pool of your own blood. You think what I did to Nichola Etch was horrific, wait until our match tonight. You will regret destroying my car and making fun of me. Tonight Killa, you will meet YOUR JUDGE, YOUR JURY, and most importantly, YOUR EXECUTIONER! Killa, prepare for your own funeral. See you in the ring. Let’s go Max.

Peter heads off but Max stops in front of the camera and turns his head to the side. Still having the Slipknot mask on, he holds up a scythe and begins to laugh wickedly as we fade out.

ANGEL OR DEVIL?

The sVo camera’s once more go backstage this time to find a strikingly beautiful woman in a stylish evening dress standing in front of Jimmy Moretti’s office. She brushes her right hand through her hair as she stares at a page in what looks like an ornate planner with the letters KVT embossed on the cover in gold.

“Well well well, if it isn’t Hostility’s own Miss Velmont-Thomas.”

Kathryn Velmont-Thomas finishes brushing her hand through her hair as she closes her planner and looks in the direction of the voice. The camera pans around to find one “Playboy” JD James making his way down the hallway sans Johnny All-Star.

JD – Long way from home aren’t you Miss Velmont-Thomas? You people aren’t here until next week when South of Heaven broadcasts out of Goodfella’s.

James smiles, a sparkle in his eye as he continues.

JD – But I gotta say, it’s an honor to have such a lovely lady gracing our hallways.

Kathryn looks shyly, almost cautiously at the man approaching her.

KVT – Do I know you?

“The Playboy” stops short in front of KVT and clears his throat.

JD – I’m so sorry, how rude of me.

James takes the ladies hand in his own and plants a gentle kiss on her hand. To which she abruptly withdraws her hand.

JD – The name is JD James, I handle one Johnny All-Star.

James takes his eyes off the slender hand of KVT and looks into her eyes smirking.

JD – And I think I may have to stick around for South of Heaven if you will be making an appearance.

Kathryn blushes a little while still looking at JD cautiously, not too sure what to make of the older mans advances.

KVT – I’m sure. Now if you could excuse me. I’m not here on wrestling business tonight.

James cocks an eyebrow at this statement.

JD – Well that’s even better news then isn’t it?

KVT – I’m actually sorta seeing someone Mr. James. Now if you will excuse me I’m here to see Mr. Moretti about booking this fine establishment for my Birthday Extravaganza.

“The Playboy” smiles a little smile.

JD – “Sorta seeing someone.” That doesn’t sound so definite. It would be an honor if you would let me show you the sites of our lovely establishment. I love Birthday’s myself. What are you going to be 19?

Kathryn fakes a smile at the obvious come on as the door to Moretti’s office opens and his secretary steps out.

Secretary – Mr. Moretti will see you now.

Kathryn holds the door open as she looks back at JD.

KVT – Thank you for your generous offer Mr. James but I think I have it covered.

James winks at the beautiful KVT as she walks into Moretti’s office.

JD – Just keep me in mind if you happen to reconsider.

The office door closes leaving JD James standing in the hallway. He smiles as he turns to walk away, walking directly into Johnny All-Star who was obviously standing there for the last half of the conversation.

JAS – Who was that JD?

James looks at his protégé with a gleam in his eyes and a smile on his face.

JD – That my friend was an Angel.

OPENING MATCH
Peter Gilmour vs. Killa

‘Shooter’ by Lil Wayne hits the sound system and the crowd boo as Killa makes his way down the entrance ramp and makes his way towards the ring. Killa, who is wearing a green mask, taunts the crowd before rolling into the ring under the bottom rope.

The lights go out in the arena and the beginning chords of Lamb of God’s WALK WITH ME IN HELL begin to play. The lights then turn red and Max Masterson begins to make his way out to the ramp. He is dressed in a red suit and holding a singapore cane. He looks over the crowd and begins to laugh. Soon after, Peter Gilmour comes out in a dark red cloak with no hood and the words “Xtreme” on the back. Peter meets Max and both of them throw up an “X” as fire emits in the same fashion behind them. The duo goes to the ring, ignoring the fans comments towards them. Max gets into the ring first and Peter follows behind him. Peter goes into the middle of the ring stretches out his arms and rolls his eyes in back of his head ala the Undertaker, as the lights come back on. Max takes off Peter’s cloak and Peter looks at the ramp intently, waiting on his next opponent.

The bell rings and the match between the two sVo newcomers gets underway! Peter Gilmour who last week revealed he was with Sonny Carter quickly makes his way towards Killa, but Killa knocks him back with some right hands. Killa sends Gilmour into the corner of the ring, but Gilmour grabs him by the arm and forces it behind his back. Killa nails Gilmour with a back elbow before taking him down with a quick suplex. Gilmour makes his way up to his feet but Killa grabs him by the arm and sends him into the ropes. Gilmour bounces back and Killa takes him down with a back body drop.

Killa makes the cover on Gilmour but the sVo newcomer kicks out after a count of two. Killa pulls Gilmour up to his feet, but Gilmour hits him with a big right hand! Killa stumbles backwards before getting taken down by a spear from Gilmour who then hits him with some big rights! Gilmour slowly allows Killa to get up to his feet before sending him hard into the corner. Killa stumbles out from the corner and Gilmour takes him down with an arm drag takedown. The crowd boo the moves from Gilmour, but he doesn’t seem to care as he locks Killa in an arm bar submission move.

Gilmour tries to break the arm of Killa as Killa tries to make his way to the ropes so that he can force the referee to break the hold! However Gilmour pulls Killa back to the centre of the ring and increases the pressure! Killa is able to finally use his strength and escape from the hold before rising to his feet and clutching his arm in pain. Gilmour grabs Killa by the arm and slams it into the corner before taking him down to the mat with a DDT and going for the cover.

Killa kicks out!

The fans can’t believe that Killa mangaged to kick out and neither can Peter Gilmour as he jumps up to his feet. Peter Gilmour argues with the referee, but as he does he is grabbed from behind by Killa who takes him down with a german suplex! The fans boo the move from Killa as he then nails Gilmour with some punches to the back of the head. Killa pulls Gilmour up to his feet and looks for the ‘No Return’, but Gilmour manages to counter with a snap suplex! Gilmour stands waiting for Killa as he slowly rises up to his feet, before hitting him with the ‘Forsaken’! The fans boo the finishing move from Gilmour, but he wastes no time in making the cover on Killa!

ENCOURAGEMENT

*The sVo Tron suddenly comes to life and we are taken to the backstage dressing room of “Hollywood” Howie Banks. Banks is sitting on a trainers table getting his ankles taped up. As the cameras zoom in though, we see that it is not just any ordinary medical trainer. It is the sVo International champion himself, Psyko Stevo, who is doing the taping.*

Stevo: All right… everything looks good to go!

*Banks jumps off the table and starts to leave the room.*

Stevo: Howie, hold up a second.

*Banks stops walking and turns towards his mentor.*

Howie: Yea, whats up?

Stevo: You see this Howie?

*Stevo holds the International title obnoxiously close to Banks’ face and Howie nods his head yes.*

Stevo: This is gold… this is a title… and it has MY name on it.

Howie: Yea, I know. It’s the International Championship belt, it says Psyko Stevo right in the center.

Stevo: Right you are my friend. You see… tonight, you fight for what could be your very first taste of gold here in the sVo.

Howie: I know, the card said it’s a title match.

Stevo: Exactly, don’t you forget it.

Howie: Don’t worry, I won’t.

*Howie starts to leave the room and as he does, Stevo once again speaks up.*

Stevo: You know… it reminds me of back in the dead of a cold 1984 winter… I was wrestling for a federation you’ve probably never heard of. Anyways, I was pitted against a guy named Kaos…

Howie: What happened?

Stevo: I lost.

Howie: You, lost?

Stevo: Yup, I lost the match. Got my ass handed to me. He beat me from pillar to post. I thought I was so ready for the big time, thought that I had put my dues in… but I lost, in an embarassing fashion.

Howie: This isn’t really encouraging me…

Stevo: Well here’s the thing kid… you see, I never had a Psyko Stevo to mentor me. I never had the Best Around in my corner, giving me sage advice.

Howie: Oh.

Stevo: Exactly, I’ve taught you everything I know about Hardcore matches… now it’s up to you to go out there and EXECUTE!

Howie: Don’t worry, I got it covered.

*Howie turns his back to leave and Stevo chimes in with one more comment.*

Stevo: You better, or else you’re going to have to answer to me…

Howie: What do you mean by that?

*Before Howie can get an answer, a sVo security guard enters the picture and grabs Banks by the shoulder.*

Security: Come on, it’s time for you to check in for your match.

Howie: No really… what did he mean by that? Oh shit…

*Stevo makes some motions towards Banks before giving an enthusiastical thumbs up for encouragement to the now quite disturbed Howie Banks.*

BEGINNING OF THE STORY

The shot cuts backstage, where an armed guard opens a back door, keeping a close eye on the men about to enter. Wheeling in a gurney with a man strapped down are two men, easily identified as Johnnie and Pete from the Bangor Mental Health Institution. The armed guard stops the men, none too pleased and rather confused as to what’s going on. As the armed guard looks at the gurney…

J – “Is there a problem here?”

G – “None at all. We _always_ have strange looking people bringing in comatose people strapped down to gurneys. I guess my first question would be who the hell are you and where are you here?”

P – “We’re here for sVo Showdown. We’re representing Michael Morg — er, The Storyteller.”

J – “It’s all legitimate. We signed the deal a couple of weeks ago.”

The guard looks unconvinced at the story given by the orderlies, but still allows them to pass, much to the surprise of Johnny and Pete. Just as they think they’re out of the clear, though, a second guard stops them. The two men attempt to ignore him and just walk past, but the guard is smart enough to stand in their way. With forced smiles on their faces, the men look up at him.

P – “As we just explained to the other guard, we’re suppos –“

G – “Save it. I’m just here to lead you to your locker room. At the request of some of the sVo executives, we’ve decided to give your client a separate locker room down a separate hallway. I think that, given the violent nature of your client, this will ensure the safety of _everyone_.”

J – “Oh. Well, in that case, lead on.”

The security guard leads the two men and the gurney, taking in the stares of some of the people backstage… most of them awestruck or downright confused as to why a man is strapped down to a gurney. As they continue their walk to their private locker room, the two begin to whisper…

J – “How much sedative did you give him?”

P – “Just enough to keep him out until we got here. He should be waking up anytime now.”

J – “We need to get into the locker room like _now_. If he wakes up and anyone else is around, we’re not going to be able to explain ourselves. And honestly, I don’t need another write-up going on my record. If I lose this job, my wife would leave me and I’d be out on the streets.”

G – “Okay, here we are. As long as your client is under contract here in the sVo, this is where he’ll be able to get dressed, get prepared for his match, and… erm… whatever else he might need. For our safety, we’ll also have two guards posted at the end of the hall. Just precaution.”

The two orderlies nod as the guard opens the door, leading into the locker room. Slowly and with great care, Johnnie and Pete wheel the gurney into the room. The guard turns around to walk off down the hallway, missing The Storyteller beginning to come out of his sedative induced slumber.

sVo Hardcore Championship Match
Orlando Fox (c) vs. ‘Hollywood’ Howie Banks

“Cuz tha boyz in tha hood are always hard
Ya come talkin’ that trash we’ll pull ya cord
Knowin’ nuthin’ in life but tah be legit
Don’t quote me boy ‘cuz I ain’t said shit”

Boyz-N-Tha-Hood by Eazy E hits the sound system and the fans boo as Orlando Fox slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp. Fox raises his sVo Hardcore Championship belt in the air as he walks down towards the ring whilst staring out members of the audience at ringside. Fox soon rolls into the ring under the bottom rope and steps onto the bottom rope before performing his signature taunt to the crowd, which brings out even more boos for Fox!

“Got 30 down at the bottom, 30 more at the top
all invisible set, in little ice cube blocks
If I could call it a drink, call it a smile on the rocks
If I could call out a price, let’s say I call out a lot
I got like platinum and white gold, traditional gold
I’m changin’ grillz everyday, like Jay change clothes”

“Grillz” By Nelly hit’s the sound system. Howie Banks comes out wearing his normal ring gear with a robe around him that’s a golden yellow colour. It also has white jewels on it. He makes his way down to the ring as the fans try to touch him but he walks a straight line down as he gets to the ring. He walks up the steel steps and onto the ring apron as he then gets into the ring as the fans have a mixed reaction.

The referee holds the sVo Hardcore Championship belt in the air to signal that it will be on the line in tonights match, before passing it to the outside of the ring and calling for the bell to be rung. The actions gets underway straight away as Orlando Fox charges at Howie Banks and takes him down with a spear. Fox lays into Banks with some right hands to the face before Banks rolls Fox off of him. Banks rises to his feet and lays into the champion with some stiff right hands of his own that knock Fox back against the ropes. With Fox reeling, Banks takes a few steps back before clotheslining Fox over the top rope to the floor.

The fans cheer as the action goes to the outside as Banks climbs out of the ring and nails Fox in the back of the head. Banks quickly grabs hold of a steel chair from a member of the crowd and makes his way towards Fox who is beginning to get to his feet. Banks pulls the chair back to hit the champion in the head, but Orlando Fox counters with a kick to the gut before grabbing the chair off of Banks and nailing him over the head! Banks hits the floor hard and Fox hits him once again with the chair!

Orlando Fox throws the chair into the ring before grabbing Banks and throwing him onto the top of the announcers table. Fox lays into Banks with some forearm shots to the face before looking under the ring apron and pulling out a ladder! The fans boo Fox as he flips them off before setting up the ladder alongside the announcers table! Fox quickly climbs the ladder before looking down at Howie Banks who is still laying sprawled out on the announcers table! Fox quickly leaps from the top of the ladder and sends Howie Banks through the table with an elbow drop! The fans rise to their feet and pop as Banks and Fox lay motionless in the wreckage of the table! The referee checks on both men, before Fox reaches an arm out over the chest of Banks.

2..

No! Somehow to the shock of everyone in the arena Banks manages to kick out of the cover and then slowly begins to rise to his feet! Fox is soon up to his feet and he grabs hold of Banks and sends him into the ring post. Banks bounces back holding his head and Fox hits him with a quick neckbreaker onto the floor. Banks lays out on the floor and Orlando Fox once again looks under the ring apron! There is a cheer from the crowd as Fox pulls out a wooden 4×4 wrapped in barbed wire! Fox holds the weapon up in the air before making his way towards Banks! Orlando Fox swings the 4×4 towards Banks, but Banks ducks out of the way and nails Fox with a knee to the midsection which causes the weapon to drop onto the ring steps. Banks then proceeds to grab hold of Fox by the hair and rub his face into the barbed wire!

The fans pop as Orlando Fox lays on the floor holding his head in pain as the blood spills from his forehead. Howie Banks grabs the barbed wire wrapped 4×4 and slams it into the side of Orlando Fox, before discarding it to one side. Fox lays on the floor in pain as Banks turns his attention to the ladder as sick smile spreads across his face. Banks quickly folds up the ladder and drops it on Orlando Fox to punish him even more. Banks then throws the ladder into the ring before climbing in himself and setting the ladder up. With Fox on the outside of the ring, Banks climbs to the top of the ladder in the ring, before leaping out of the ring and hitting Orlando Fox with the ‘Hollywood Splash’! The fans pop for the awesome move as Banks slowly places a hand over Orlando Fox’s broken body.

KILLA

The scene opens up backstage with Santos Rockwell talking to an interviewer. He is wearing that same old fully loaded shirt. He seems to be talking about how he is advancing a lot in his career. When some black male with a mask on, and a big scar on the left side of his chest appears. He snatches the camera with the words SVO imprinted into it. He begins to talk to the interviewer while looking at Santos Rockwell soon.

“Why are you here waisting time with this loser. He is nothing but a little punk that thinks he is on his way to big things in this fed. But let me tell you buddy. You’re NOT.”

Killa says this while jumping at Santos Rockwell making the interviewer and the camera man jump back. He picks the mic back up to his mouth slowly.

“I think that you don’t belong here. This is not the place for you because this fed does not have a women’s division and that all you are is a little bi***. So when and if we meet in that ring be prepared to face me the deadliest wrestler here.”

Killa pushes the mic back into the interviewers hand and begins to walk between the two. He looks back at Santos and jumps one more time, making Santos jump back and trip over a steel chair. Santos hurries and gets back up to avoid humiliation but it was too late. Killa walked down the hall with a mean looking grin on his face.

SINGLE MATCH
Joey Peyton vs. CJ Newfield

“You could never be my envy”
“You could never be my jealousy”
Guitar riffs and solos kick in

The lights in the arena flicker multiple times, and then slowly dim down. The Jumbo Tron goes completely black as a faint blue hue overtakes the arena. In bold red letters, the phrase “Joey Peyton” appears, centered, on the pre-existing black backdrop of the Jumbo Tron. A loud blast of pyro erupts and is instantly followed by the continuing of ‘Gimme A.D.’ by Parkway Drive. The crowd showers the arena with cheers. “Joey Peyton” morphs into “The First Star”, and as if on cue, Joey steps out from behind the entrance curtain and onto the entrance ramp wearing black tights with “Adonis Di” written down his right leg in red lettering. He stands, perfectly centered at the top of the entrance ramp, and stretches his arms outward in a crucifix pose with his fists clenched. After a few seconds, he begins walking down to the ring, in a complete serious mode he ignores any and every fan. When he reaches the ring, he rolls inside, and leaps to his feet. He stands in the middle of the ring, looking out to the crowd. As he raises his arms, bright white pyro erupts on the four corners of the ring, stopping the music, and returning the arena lights to their original hue and brightness.

The lights cut out in the arena, prompting the fans in attendance respond with a chorus of screams. “Remedy” by Seether explodes from the PA system as the arena is illuminated with green and gold lights. Special gold spotlights highlight the entranceway as a figure makes its way out into the spotlight. Head down, the figure strikes a statue-esque pose, arms straight out from his sides in a cross figure, before lifting his chin to reveal himself as the “Underground Phenom” CJ Newfield.

Newfield slowly saunters his way towards the ring, peering around the arena, taking in the moment while his name is announced over the PA.

CJ slides into the ring and takes his place atop one of the ring posts, striking the same pose as he did to signal his arrival. Dismounting himself from the turnbuckle, CJ once again peers around the arena awaiting his opponent as the lights return to normal.

The bell sounds.

CJ Newfield and Joey Peyton begin this match countering each other’s maneuvers with arm bars, hip tosses and arm drag take downs. Joey takes the advantage early on by nailing CJ Newfield down with some clotheslines early on. CJ however continues to get back up and as Joey Peyton goes for a body slam Newfield slips off his shoulder and down his back as he rolls up Peyton for a pin.

1

2

Only a two count there as Joey Peyton quickly rolls away and gets back up to his feet while CJ Newfield does the same. Newfield then rushes over and grabs onto Joey’s body and brings him down to the mat with a small package pin. The referee quickly gets down to the ring mat and goes for the count.

1

2

Only a two count once again for the second consecutive time as Joey Peyton once again kicks out of this one. Joey now steps back up and CJ Newfield stands back up too. Peyton then runs and levels his opponent down with a clothesline. Joey now crawls over after and hooks his leg for the pin fall attempt.

1..

2..

Still nothing more then a two count as Joey Peyton now stands up. He grabs CJ Newfield and whips him into the corner. He runs up to him in the corner and hit’s a big kick to the face. Joey now grabs his head with his two legs after holding onto the ropes and he pulls his body back around for a hurricanrana. Joey quickly goes for the cover.

1..

2..

CJ Newfield gets his arm up just before the three count.

Joey now picks CJ back up but is punched in the mid section. It slows Peyton down as he holds his gut. Newfield now begins to throw punches to his mid section more as he now whips Joey Peyton into the corner. He runs and clotheslines him in it as the fans watch on wondering what is going to happen next in this match up. He now brings him out from the corner and to the middle of the ring. He now goes to put him in a powerbomb like maneuver.

With the opponent up in a powerbomb, CJ pushes the victim forwards slightly so they fall straight down off the attackers shoulders but not down as if in a powerbomb, straight down as if to their feet or stomach. As the victim is falling to the mat, CJ applies a 3/4 face lock and drops to the mat, impacting the victim’s chin into CJ’s shoulder.

That’s all she wrote, Indie Cutter!

D.N.I – DO NOT INTERFERE

The sVo cameras catch Johnny All-Star back stage as he is making his way to his match for this evening. Shrugging his shoulders as he walks he has a look of determination on his face as fellow hometown reporter Tamara Boyd runs up behind him.

Boyd – Johnny, a couple of words before your match tonight.

All-Star stops dead in his tracks and turns around to face Tamara.

JAS – Anything for you Tamara.

Boyd – Well you lost your title shot last week, that would be enough to demoralize anyone but yet here you are this week stepping into the ring with the newcomer, The Storyteller. What are your thoughts?

JAS – Well Tamara tonight I’m taking on Michael Morgan a mental patient that goes by the name The Storyteller, of course I’m going into this one expecting anything. Lord knows what’s going on in that fractured mind of his. Now onto Seasons Beatings, lasts week loss in just that a loss. It wasn’t my time, and my hats off to Michael Best, against all odds he retained the Championship Gold, even with all the interference from Sonny Carter when I specifically wanted no interference at all in that match.

Boyd – Speaking of Sonny Carter we haven’t seen you with him at all tonight. Where do you stand with Mr. Carter?

JAS – Well that remains to be seen now doesn’t it? I’m definitely not happy with what went down last week. It certainly makes me look bad now doesn’t it, and that’s the last thing I want. Now if you’ll excuse me I’ve got a match to get ready for.

As All-Star turns to leave he comes face to face with one Mr. Sonny Carter standing in his way. All-Star stares tensely at Sonny before pushing his way past him to go get ready for his match leaving Tamara Boyd and Sonny Carter standing there.

THE WAKE UP

The shot cuts backstage once again, into the private, secured locker room of The Storyteller… who has now been awake for almost a half-hour. Johnnie and Pete, his two guards slash orderlies, are seated next to his gurney, which is now raised so that The Storyteller is in a seated position. Though most of the restraints have been removed, they remain around his wrists and his ankles.

J – “You’re in no harm, Mister Morgan.”

S – “Once again, my name is _not_ Michael Morgan. Michael Morgan is a character, a fictional and non-existant piece of my imagination. The life that I’ve given to the name is on paper, through the chapters of my novels. Beyond that, Michael Morgan is no more real than unicorns or bigfoot.”

J – “It’s time for you to face reality, Mister Morgan. You _are_ the character. You _have_ lived the life of the man you currently write about. You’ve decided to repress all the hurt and anger that took over when you found your fiancee shacked up with her fling. In other words, WAKE UP.”

The Storyteller sits in a stunned silence, mouth slightly open, trying his best to compute the information that’s just been told to him. There’s no one clear feeling that can be made out from his expression — it’s a mixture of anger, sadness, and even a hint of humor. Pete takes over…

P – “Take it all in, Michael. This isn’t a world where a man is committed to a mental institute just to work on a novel. You _killed_ a man in cold blood, and there’s not one person that will blame you for it. I don’t know what the hell I’d do if I was in your shoes to see that sight.”

S – “You’d want to hurt. You’d want to punish. You’d want to _kill_.”

P – “That’s why we’re here for you, Michael. We’re not here to medicate you, shock you with our electric shock sticks, or even let you die in a small four-walled box. This is _therapy_, a way for Michael Morgan to deal with what happened. It’s your chance to become a character in a book.”

J – “What was it you told us about being a writer?”

A lone tear of anger and frustration falls down The Storyteller’s cheek, his restrained fists clenched up into tight balls. He remains in silence for what seems to be an eternity, causing both Johnnie and Pete to wonder if perhaps they’ve gone too far. Slowly, the tension is gone, with an evil grin twisting onto The Storyteller’s face… then low, gutteral laughter follows.

S – “It turns you into a God. It gives the power to do anything to anyone for any reason.”

J – “Exactly. And this isn’t any different than that world, Michael. This is a world where a man can create his own destiny. This is a world where violence and bloodshed are welcome. You want a chance to take out your frustrations? It can be done here. You want to bloody a man and take him out of competition? It can be done here. This is the chance to rehabilitate, to mend old wounds.”

S – “Mending my wounds… by wounding others?”

Johnnie nods his head, and The Storyteller seems to calm a bit… kind of like an animal that’s gotten to know his owner. Slowly, and with a bit of hesitance, the two men begin to remove the restraints from around The Storyteller’s ankles and wrists. The Storyteller takes a moment to stretch, showing his tattooed arms with graphic depictions of hell and other gruesome scenery.

S – “One last thing, if I _do_ agree to this…”

Like a strike from a cobra, The Storyteller lashes out both of his arms, wrapping a hand around each of the orderlies necks. The vice-like grip doesn’t tighten, just stays locked on enough to take most of the air from Johnnie and Pete. As the gasp for air, The Storyteller looks at them.

S – “…don’t _ever_ call me Michael Morgan again.”

The Storyteller releases his grip on the two men, who hit the floor and begin to get the color back in their faces and the air back in their lungs. As fear begins to course through both of their bodies, The Storyteller stands over them, smirking evilly once again. He then steps over them as if they’re nothing more than trash on the ground, then exits the room towards the ring.

A VENDETTA

Suddenly and without warning, “Remember” by Disturbed hits the PA and the fans give a very loud, yet mixed pop as the sVo’s International champion himself, Psyko Stevo, makes his way out onto the steel rampway. Stevo is holding a mic and wearing a black t-shirt that reads “The Best Around” on the front and the phrase “The Past is Indestructible” is written on the back in cursive. Stevo holds the mic to his mouth and the fans come to a hush as the superstar begins to speak.

Stevo: So the question on everybodies mind… the hot topic if you will. Why the heck did Psyko Stevo take time away from his family to appear on Hostility’s South of Heaven show last week? And maybe an even better question… why did he choose to get involved in a match that featured the World Heavyweight Champion of Hostility?

*The fans start to applaud as the sVo tron shows the Psyko One standing at ringside during the Christian Vendetta/Julian Fiasco match. The cameras then show Psyko Stevo moving Julian Fiasco on top of Christian Vendetta to secure Fiasco the win.*

Stevo: Is there an alliance between Psyko Stevo and Julian Fiasco? Well I’ll answer that right away and that answer is… maybe.

*A smile comes across the face of the Psyko One as the fans start to speak amongst themselves.*

Stevo: His people are just really busy… my people are really busy, well my people are me, and I’m always busy. But anyhoo… I’ll get right to the nitty gritty of it.

*Stevo pauses for dramatic effect before speaking again.*

Stevo: I’m the best wrestler in the short history of the sVo… heck, I’m The Best Around, period. Christian Vendetta is the World Champ and therefore best wrestler over at Hostility… and maybe you hadn’t heard, but there is a Pay Per View coming up in a couple weeks.

*The fans speaking amongst themselves picks up as they start to see where Stevo is going with this.*

Stevo: That’s right, I’ll just come out and say it… I’m challenging Christian Vendetta to a singles match at the unfortunately named super card, Hostile Violence.

*The fans pop at this information as Psyko Stevo smiles.*

Stevo: Nothing is set in stone… I still have to wait to hear from Moretti and to hear from Hostility’s people, but let’s just so ahead and say it… if Christian Vendetta ducks out of this match, well… he’s a giant chicken! BAKAW!

*The fans again pop as it appears the sVo International champion has just called the Hostility World Heavyweight champion a chicken!*

Stevo: So I’ll give it a week, and if it doesn’t pan out… well I’ll be right back at South of Heaven. And next time, if there is a next time, I’ll do a lot more then just “watch” Christian Vendetta in the ring.

*Stevo starts to walk away, but turns around before doing so.*

Stevo: Oh… and that isn’t a warning… it’s a threat, and it better be taken seriously.

*”Remember” by Distrubed hits the PA once again as Psyko Stevo tosses the mic into the crowd and fans beat each other up, trying to grab it.*

SINGLE MATCH
Johnny All Star vs. The Storyteller

Fallin’ asleep at the wheel again baby,
You’re driftin’ over the line (the line) Yeah.
Your hands are tight but you’re losin’ grip quickly
Fix me, can you read the signs?

Thumbin’ your way to Vegas, dirty
And Dreamin’ of the other side…
Save your tears and laughter because
It doesn’t matter what you find

‘Pretty Vegas’ hits the sound system and there is a mixed reaction from the crowd as the former sVo International Champion Johnny All Star steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp! All Star holds his arms high in the air, before slowly making his way down the entrance ramp and sliding into the ropes. All Star once again raises his arms high into the air as he leans forward against the ropes, causing a burst of pyros to shoot up behind him.

Cue “Push It (JB’s Death Trance Mix)” by Static X as the crowd begins to boo loudly. Two orderlies emerge from the back, each of them pulling one side of a gurney. As the gurney makes it way out from the back, the orderlies raise it so that The Storyteller comes into full view. He’s strapped down to the gurney by leather straps, and is also bound with a mask on his face and a straightjacket. As he’s wheeled to the ring, he fights to escape as the people boo.

Reaching the ringside area, the orderlies stop the gurney and undo the straps, then grab The Storyteller by each arm and forcefully lead him into the ring. The fans continue their assault, the orderlies try to quiet them, but it only fuels their fire. The orderlies try to calm The Storyteller before undoing the jacket, pulling out their electric “shock sticks” to taunt him. With The Storyteller subdued, they release him, then quickly leave the ring to let him fight.

The bell sounds.

Just one week after almost capturing the sVo World Championship, Johnny All Star takes on newcomer, The Storyteller. Can All Star bounce back from such a sad loss at Season’s Beatings or will The Storyteller do just that, tell a story and capture his first win in the Sanctioned Violence Organisation over a former sVo International Champion in Johnny All Star.

The match begins with both men locking up of course in a tie up. All Star pushes the newcomer, The Storyteller to the corner. The referee begins to break it up as All Star steps back a few until he throws a right hand to the jaw of The Storyteller that barely even fazes him. All Star did that out of anger but it barely even stunned the larger man.

The Storyteller now grabs the throat of Johnny All Star and tosses him into the corner. He begins to throw clubbing right hands that knock the opponent down. The Storyteller now picks up All Star and whips him sternum first into the turnbuckle post across from the ring. All Star comes back a few steps and is clotheslined down.

The Storyteller covers him.

Only a two count.

Johnny All Star kicks out as he gets his shoulder up. He begins to crawl away as The Storyteller stands up from the ring mat. He begins to take deep breaths as All Star grabs the rope and helps himself up. The Storyteller comes walking towards him in the corner as he is stalking his prey. All Star is up now and turns around as he boots The Storyteller in the gut.

He then begins to blast out from the corner with a bunch of offensive right hand punches and mid section kicks. All Star now grabs the arm of The Storyteller and whips him to the ropes. He runs at him with a clothesline but the big man doesn’t even move. He runs to the ropes and hit’s another clothesline as he begins to move and almost fall.

Johnny All Star now climbs the top ropes really fast and jumps off with a big shoulder block tackle as it knocks The Storyteller down! The fans are chanting for Johnny All Star who stands in the corner and waits for the big man to get back up. The Storyteller begins to move around as he finally gets back up.

He turns around as his opponent Johnny All Star runs right at him from a three point stance. He now runs and looks for a spear and hit’s him with it! He holds onto him though and now uses all of his strength to toss him down and over with a huge slam! The Touchdown! Johnny All Star now goes for the pin.

He hooks the leg of The Storyteller.

RESULT: Johnny All Star def. The Storyteller via pinfall

A CHANCE AT GOLD

Backstage the Storyteller is making his way back to his locker room after his narrow defeat to former sVo International Champion Johnny All Star when he is stopped in his tracks by sVo manager Paige Johnson.

Paige – “Hey. You were pretty unlucky out there tonight.”

The Storyteller looks straight through Paige who for some reason has a championship belt over her shoulder.

Paige – “I mean it. Fighting against Johnny All Star in your first match is no mean feat, and you nearly picked up the win there. Nice job.”

The Storyteller – “Not quite good enough though.”

Paige – “Well next week I am setting up a tournament for a new Championship that will be debuting here in the sVo. I want you to be apart of it, you have a great chance of winning.”

The Storyteller – “Sure why not.”

The Storyteller brushes past Paige, still obviously upset at his debut loss here tonight.

SINGLE MATCH
Brock Alyas vs. Psyko Stevo

The sound is cut… the lights are slowly dimmed to complete darkness and the pyrotechnics are in perfect correlation with the PA as it’s punished with the baseline of “Would” by Alice in Chains. Brock keeps the fans waiting and only shows his face when the powerful voice of Layne Staley begins his chorus….

INTO THE FLOOD AGAIN
SAME OLD TRIP IT WAS BACK THEN
SO I MADE A BIG MISTAKE
SO TRY AND SEE IT ONCEE MY WAYYY

The fans give a significant reaction as the Juggernaut, Brock Alyas makes his way to the ring. Alyas looks past the fans with a grim smirk on his face, his eyes on the prize in the center of the arena, within the ring. The monster of a man steps through the second and third rope and leans on a corner turnbuckle in anticipation of the warfare to begin…

With Alyas in the ring, the fans rise to their feet as the lights dim and the intro to “Remember” by Disturbed hits the PA.

Sensation washes me over
I can’t describe it
Pain I felt so long ago
I don’t remember
Tear a hole so I can see
My devastation
Feelings from so long ago
I don’t remember

As the lyrics play, the sVo Tron lights up and the words, “The past is in-des-truct-able” individually fill the screen in between shots of some of Psyko Stevo’s greatest career moments . Once these words are finished playing, green mist starts to spew from the backstage area before golden pyro shoots out, perfectly on que with the music, illuminating the ring. As the pyro subsides, the fans pop as out from the mist emerges the sVo International Champion himself, Psyko Stevo. Stevo raises his arms, and the International title, in the air as the fans once again pop.

Blind your eyes to what you see
You can’t embrace it
Leave it well enough alone
And don’t remember
Cut your pride and watch it bleed
You can’t deny It
Pain you know can’t be ignore
I don’t remember

As the second verse plays, Stevo marches down the steel rampway and starts to high five some of the fans at ringside. Stevo then tosses his International title over the top rope, into the center of the ring before sliding under the bottom rope and quickly hopping up to his feet. As the official collects Stevo’s International title, the Psyko One pays no attention to his opponent in the ring as he hops up onto the far turnbuckle and the fans erupt in cheer. He repeats this process on the opposite turnbuckle before jumping back into the ring and getting ready for the match at hand. DING DING DING!

The bell sounds and the match is underway. Brock Alyas raises his left arm in the air, signifying that he wants to lock up in the ring. Stevo pays no attention to this though, instead dropping to the mat and rolling under the bottom rope and to, for the time being, safety. Brock Alyas stays in the ring and stares Psyko Stevo down as the International champion walks over to the announce table and says hello to the crew. Just when it seems that Brock Alyas can’t stand it anymore, the official starts to count and Psyko Stevo quickly hops back up to the apron and into the ring. Alyas once again raises his left arm in the air and Stevo raises his right arm in the air. Stevo inches closer and closer to the eventual tie up, but just before the two hands meet, Psyko Stevo lunges forward and gives Alyas a modified high five, which causes the fans to start to mumble amongst themselves.

Infuriated, Alyas charges in but Psyko Stevo sees it coming. Stevo drops to the mat and connects with a drop toe hold, which he quickly turns into an armbar. The official starts to ask Alyas if he wants to continue and Alyas just focused on escaping the hold. Stevo finally realizes that this simple maneuver is not going to win him the match, so he breaks the hold, stomping on the arm of Brock Alyas in the process.

Both men are back on their feet now, and this time it is Psyko Stevo who raises his right arm in the air. Alyas tenatively raises his left and the two FINALLY lock up in the center of the ring. It is Brock Alyas who completely overpowers the International Champion though, bending him backwards like a pretzel before finally lunging forward and tossing Stevo like a ragdoll into the corner. Alyas follows this up with a powerful clothesline that gets the fans popping in the auidence. After the clothesline, Stevo staggers forward and it is Brock Alyas who comes up behind the champ and sets him up for a pumphandle slam. Alyas hoists Stevo up over his shoulder before flapjacking him down onto the canvus. “The Future of the sVo” goes for the cover… one… two… kickout! Stevo digs down deep and kicks out from the extremely powerful maneuver as the crowd cheers “The Ironman” on.

Alyas goes to work now, stomping away at the midsection of Psyko Stevo. Stevo doesn’t rise to his feet though, or even attempt to. Instead, the International champ starts to roll towards the ropes. Finally, the two men get up near the ropes and it is Psyko Stevo who once again slides to the outside of the ring. This time though, Brock Alyas isn’t going to let his opponent recover. Alyas steps in between the second and third rope and hops to the outside of the ring as the official on the inside begins to count both men out.

It is Alyas who attempts to strike first, as he runs towards the hunched over Psyko Stevo, attempting a double ax handle smash. Stevo however, uses his mixed martial arts knowledge and connects with a standing side kick to the stomach of Alyas. Stevo then starts to reign down strong blows to the back of The Juggernaught’s exposed head as the fans cheer him on.

Inside the ring, the offical gets to a six count and Psyko Stevo wisely comes back into the ring. Alyas quickly shakes off the after effects of the punches to the back of his head and rolls back into the ring himself. Once inside the ring, Psyko Stevo quickly connects with a knife edged chop which causes the fans in attendance to scream out, “WOOOO!”, Psyko Stevo connects with another, then another, then another knife edged chop, but each one only appears to makes The Juggernaught even more angry. Stevo goes for a right hand punch to the face, but Alyas easily blocks it before connecting with a short armed clothesline that sends the champ to the mat. Alyas goes for the quick cover… one… two… foot on the rope! Stevo’s experience once again pays dividends as he just casually moved his right foot on top of the bottom rope, breaking up the pinfall attempt.

Both men back on their feet now and they lock up in the center of the ring. Alays once again wins the test of strenght as he connects with a knee to the midsection of the International Champion. Alyas follows this up with a strong irish whip to the corner, which leaves Stevo dazed. Alyas wastes no time as he follows up the irish whip with a spear… no wait… it’s… it can’t be… we haven’t seen this move in ages…

THE WIDOWMAKER!

Stevo floats over the spear attempt and, in an inverted position (think of Tajiri’s Tarantuala) ties Brock Alyas up in the ropes. The Juggernaught writhes in pain as the official rushes over to the ropes and starts to count Stevo out for using an illegal move… one… two… three… four… Stevo finally breaks the hold, with only one second to spare before he would have been disqualified. Stevo quickly connects with a short leg drop before going for the pinfall… one… two… power kickout! Alyas just kicked out and sent Stevo halfway across the ring in the process! Both the fans as Psyko Stevo himself are stunned as most opponents who feel the effects of the Widowmaker are soon put away.

Stevo rises to his feet and looks across the ring at Brock Alyas, Stevo doesn’t lose focus of the match at hand though as he jogs over to Alyas, grabbing the back of his head in the process… spear! Alyas just connected with a spear from his knees… look at Alyas just pick the International champion up and… Alyas runs halfway across the ring with Psyko Stevo in a spear position before finally dumping him like garbage near the ropes. Psyko Stevo sucks air as Brock Alyas goes for the cover… one… two… hand on the rope! Stevo slid his left hand under the bottom rope and the official is once again forced to stop the count.

Brock Alyas is quick to his feet as he uses the ropes for leverage while he stomps a mudhole dry on the body of Psyko Stevo. Stevo finally once again slides to the outside of the ring as Brock Alyas is beside himself with rage and the offical is once again counting both men out. Stevo is hunched over, the air still knocked out of him as Brock Alyas comes charging in and… oh my god! Stevo was just picked up and his back was just wedged in between the steel ringpost and Brock Alyas! Stevo folds up like an accordian as Brock Alyas picks the International champion up by his head and rolls him under the bottom rope at a seven count. Alyas rolls into the ring, goes for a casual cover and the offical starts to count… one… two……… KICKOUT!

Alyas’ jaw nearly drops from his face and the fans are euphoric as this match is going to continue. Somehow, someway, Psyko Stevo found a way to kick out of a sequence of power moves that would have pinned almost any wrestler walking the face of the Earth. Uh ho, Alyas is now on the officials case as the two argue in the center of the ring. Alyas feels that the count was slow, and he might have been right as the replays indicates that a good extra half a second was wasted between the two and three portion of the count. Alyas is jawing with the officals but he wisely turns around just in time to catch Psyko Stevo sprinting at him… Alyas with a clothesline… Stevo ducked it! Stevo off the far ropes… PSYKLONE! Psyko Stevo hits the psyklone and the crowd goes nuts. Psyko Stevo is crawling his way over to Brock Alyas as his back is still shaken up… Stevo finally gets over to Alyas after a good five to seven seconds are wasted and he goes for the cover… one… two…….. KICKOUT! Brock Alyas kicks out of the Psyklone and the fans are in shock. What is it going to take for The Best Around to put away The Juggernaught?

Psyko Stevo smiles a sadistic smile into the camears as he shakes his head in disbelief before finally making his way to his feet. Brock Alyas rushes in and connects with a forearm shiver to the face of the “Ironman”, Alyas connects with another, then kicks Stevo in the stomach before performing a picture perfect traditional suplex, holding Stevo’s body up in the air for a good three seconds before sending his already weakened back into the canvus… Alyas with a cover… one… two… KICKOUT! Once again Stevo somehow kicks out and the fans are in disbelief as is Brock Alyas. Alyas now grabs the Psyko One by the back of his head and Psyko Stevo takes advantage of this half assed move as he shoves his shoulder right into the midsection of Brock Alyas and… what the heck just happened? Brock Alyas just went down like a sack of bricks. The replay shows that the move was actually a low blow! Psyko Stevo just connected with a low blow and Alyas is down and the official is checking in on him. Psyko Stevo now… Stevo climbing up to the top rope… the fans are on their feet…

Could it be? Could we be seeing the move that has been outlawed from over a dozen federations? The official still checking on Alyas who is still down…

PSYKOTIC SENTON!

Psyko Stevo just preformed a 360 degree senton off the top rope… Stevo goes for the cover… ONE… TWO… THREE!

Psyko Stevo did it, he defeated the Juggernaught! The fans are on their feet as Stevo clutches his back in pain. The Juggernaught might have lost, but he just made a huge impression on all of the fans of the sVo by becoming the first man in sVo history to kick out of the Psyklone!

RESULT: Psyko Stevo def. Brock Alyas via pinfall

El Segmento de Introduccion

It is inside the backstage office of Jimmy Moretti, as he is busy going over whatever important things the owner of a prestigious underground wrestling federation goes over. Perhaps it is the lyrics to a long lost Gilbert and Sullivan musical? Alas, the mystery stays with him. Regardless, his busy perusals are interrupted by a backstage worker, one of the many little men in matching shirts who bustle back and forth during the show. The worker seems nervous to be in the presence of the boss, and takes some time to come up with his words.

Worker: “Ummm… Mr. Mor… Mr. Moretti Sir…”

Moretti: “Out with it.”

Worker: “There is a, um, crate for you in the parking lot.”

Moretti: “A crate?”

Worker: “Yes sir.”

Moretti: “How do you know its for me?”

Worker: “Well, it has your name on it.”

They both stand there, in silence for a moment, as Jimmy Moretti lets loose a sigh.

Moretti: “I will be right there.”

Jimmy lifts himself from his desk, leaving the top secret papers splayed out for anyone to see. However, he is not worried. No one would dare bust into the office of the owner, and especially no one would dare look at his secret documents.

When Jimmy makes it to the parking lot, he is surprised to discover, sure enough, that there is a large crate with his name, literally, all over it.

Moretti: “Who sent this thing?”

Worker: “I don’t know sir, it just sorta arrived.”

Moretti inspects the crate, discovering a return address posted on the top corner.

Moretti: “From… La Cuidad de los Luchadores?”

Worker: “What does that mean?”

Moretti: “How would I know? Get me a crowbar.”

Worker: “Yes sir!”

However, the crowbar will not be necessary. From within the crate, a rumbling can be heard. Soon, the entire crate begins to shake.

Moretti: “What the hell?”

KA-BLAM!

The crate explodes in a shower of confetti, as a Mariachi band erupts into joyous noisemaking.

Voice: “YO…SOY…EL GIMICKO!!!!!!!”

From the confetti and smoke jumps a small luchador in a white mask, who is instantly dwarfed by the owner, and even the stage worker.

Moretti: “Who the hell are you?”

The small luchador looks around dramatically, before pointing to his chest.

“YO SOY EL GIMICKO!!!!”

Moretti: “Alright then… Soy Gimmick? What do you want?”

Voice: “He has come for your title belts.”

As the smoke clears, a Mexican man in a very nice suit is seen sitting on a folding chair, drinking from a water bottle.

Man: “This is El Gimicko, the great luchador! He is here now in the sVo to take your titles.”

El Gimicko nods proudly and points to his chest.

Moretti: “This little guy?”

Man: “He may be small… but his heart is…”

Moretti: “No you don’t, I hate that fucking cliché.”

El Gimicko and the Man both look at each other, bickering back and forth in Spanish.

Man: “El Gimicko says he will defeat your monsters, and your champions. For he is El Gimicko!”

El Gimicko: “Yo soy el gran luchador! Nunca puedan derrotarme.”

Moretti: “Fine, he wants a match? We will book him a match. Just… keep him away from me.”

Moretti walks away, shaking his head in disgust. As soon as he is gone, the Man and El Gimicko look at each other, and drop big smiles!

Both: “Arriba!”

The mariachi music starts again, as the two begin to dance around the crate that they arrived in.

TACTICS

Backstage C.J Newfield is having a meeting with his boss, Mr Sonny Carter. Newfield and Carter are sitting in the makeshift ‘Carter War Room’ which is in an un-named secret location deep in the Goodfellas Casino.

C.J Newfield – “An easy win tonight. I hope that Moretti gives me someone better next week, Peyton was a piece of cake tonight.”

Sonny Carter looks deep in though, but nods his head.

Sonny Carter – “There is the Hostile Violence PPV coming up soon as well, we should get involved in that.”

C.J Newfield – “What you mean sabotage this thing for Moretti? It could be huge if we cost him the whole PPV!”

However Sonny Carter surprisingly shakes his head.

Sonny Carter – “No we should make sure that the sVo win this one, maybe even have you take on one of the Hostility wrestlers in a match.”

C.J Newfield looks confused at Carter as if he has lost his mind.

C.J Newfield – “Why the hell do you want to help Moretti?”

Sonny Carter – “Because if the sVo win this thing then it means there stock rises, which means even more money in our pockets when we drive Moretti out of town and take this thing over.”

A smile slowly creeps over Newfield’s face.

C.J Newfield – “Genius.”

MAIN EVENT MATCH
Mike Best vs. Jay Wildman

“Work it
Make it
Do it
Makes us

Harder
Better
Faster
Stronger”

The lights dim slowly in the arena as the Tron flares to life, an image of two dice roling towards the front of the screen. They come rolling to a stop on snake eyes, before the dots fade into the word “Mike” on one die and “Best” on the other. The dice explode into a highlight video as “Stronger” by Kanye West blares over the speakers, the bass shaking the arena Gold pyro explodes in the entranceway and the fans begin to boo and jeer, screaming insults as the confident face of ‘The Mike Effect’ Michael Best appears from behind the curtain. He raises two fingers to his lips, blowing a kiss out into the crowd as they hurl obscenities back in his direction. Mike stops for a moment on the stage, slapping his chest twice and pointing out at the crowd, raising his eyebrows and throwing out a wink. He makes his way down the ramp, rolling gingerly into the ring and stretching out as he awaits the start of the match.

I been taking all the silver
I been saving all the gold
I’m gonna stuff it down the throat
Of a week old corpse
Save that doggone soul
I been saving up my pain
I’m gonna give it back in spades
I been strangling the cries
From the murder of love
Save your soul tonight

Bodies by Danzig hits the sound system and boos begin to ring out around the arena for sVo’s Norwegian superstar Jay Wildman. Wildman raises his hands up into the air as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp and pyros shoot up alongside the entrance ramp. Wildman then begins to slowly walk down the entrance ramp before rolling into the ring. Wildman climbs up onto the second rope to signal to the fans again, before pyros once again shoot up around the ringside arena to announce Wildman’s entrance to the ring!

Mike Best hands his sVo Championship belt to the referee, however as he does Jay Wildman grabs the microphone away from the ring announcers and calls for quiet in the crowd. All eyes are on Wildman, including Best’s, as he addresses the arena.

Jay Wildman – “Finally I come face to face with the famous Mike Best. I’ve been hearing a lot about you since I came here to the sVo, but I got to say I am disappointed….”

Best takes a few steps towards Wildman and it looks like the Champion has heard enough.

Jay Wildman – “You’re a pathetic excuse of a champion Best, and not only that but I heard to saying that you are out of my league…..”

Best nods, showing off his trademark smirk.

Jay Wildman – “Well if that’s true then why don’t you prove it and put your money where your mouth is. How about you put that sVo World Championship belt on the line here tonight!”

The crowd pop over the prospect of seeing an sVo World Championship match here tonight as Best seems to be considering the idea.

Jay Wildman – “What’s the matter Mike? All talk and no action?”

Mike Best finally seems to have snapped as he nods his head and hands the belt over to the referee. The referee holds the belt in the air to signal that it will be on the line in tonight’s match and it looks like we have a World title match on our hands here on Showdown!

The bell rings and Mike Best sprints at Wildman, spearing him down to the mat and laying into the challenger with big right hands. Wildman fights his way up to a standing position, but Best comes back with some clubbing blows to send him into the corner of the ring. Best nails a few knees into the midsection of Wildman before trying to send him corner to corner. However Wildman reads the move and holds onto the arm of Best, before pulling the World Champion back towards him and taking him down to the mat with a clothesline.

Mike Best struggles back up to his feet and receives a kick in the stomach for his stomach from Wildman, who then slams him face first into the ring post. Best staggers back and Wildman takes him down to the mat with a half nelson suplex! Wildman quickly makes the cover on Best, but the sVo Champion kicks out after a count of two. Best rises back up to his feet, but Wildman is there waiting for him with some right hands. Wildman backs Best into the ropes, but Best then manages to duck his shoulder and charge onto Wildman, taking him down with a spinebuster. With Wildman down on his back, Best nails a low blow on Wildman before bouncing out of the ropes and hitting the challenger with an elbow drop. With Wildman down, Best hooks the leg and makes the cover on Jay Wildman.

1..

2..

No! Jay Wildman manages to get a shoulder up off of the canvas despite his obvious pain. Mike Best looks pissed off with Wildman as he grabs him by his long hair and pulls him up to a standing position. Best tosses Wildman into the ropes and hits him with a strong back elbow as he bounces back. Wildman hits the mat, but as Best looks for another elbow drop on him he rolls out of the way. Best rises to his feet holding his arm in pain and Jay Wildman takes advantage with an arm bar takedown on the Champion. Best looks in pain on the mat as Jay Wildman takes advantage of the situation by jumping to the corner of the ring and quickly making his way to the top rope. With Best still down Wildman leaps from the top and nails the Champion with a twisting leg drop! Wildman slowly rolls across Best and it looks like we could have a new World Champion right here!

1..

2..

No! The fans were on their feet but Best kicks out at the very last second! Wildman holds his head in disbelief before slowly making his way up to his feet. Best looks to be struggling as he gradually gets up using the ring ropes but as he does Wildman has other ideas. Wildman runs at Best looking for a clothesline, but Best ducks out of the way. Best quickly grabs Wildman and uses his size advantage to nail him with a neck breaker to take him down to the mat with authority! Mike Best then leaps up to his feet and signals to the crowd that the end is near! Best stalks Wildman as he rises to his feet before setting him up for the Mike Effect! You woke up this morning
Got yourself a gun,
Mama always said you’d be
The Chosen One.

She said: You’re one in a million
You’ve got to burn to shine,
But you were born under a bad sign,
With a blue moon in your eyes.
You woke up this morning
All the love has gone,
Your Papa never told you
About right and wrong.

‘Woke up this Morning’ by A3 hits the sound system and there is a cheer from the crowd as the sVo Owner Jimmy Moretti makes his way onto the top of the entrance ramp. Moretti has a trademark cigar in his mouth as he holds a microphone in one hand. Moretti looks across at Jay Wildman who is holding the sVo World Championship in his hands before looking down at Mike Best.

Jimmy Moretti – “What the hell are you two doing?”

Jay Wildman holds the belt in Moretti’s face before giving off a huge smile and mouthing the words ‘New Champion’, Moretti however shakes his head.

Jimmy Moretti – “I don’t remember booking a sVo Championship match tonight…… infact I didn’t book a sVo Championship match tonight! As far as I am concerened this match hasn’t even started yet, now get back down to that ring and get on with your match! These people paid good money to see it!”

Jay Wildman looks outraged as he grabs the mic from the bosses hands.

Jay Wildman – “Fuck you Moretti, I won this belt fair and square tonight and I don’t care what you say. I’m the new Champion and I’m not fighting again tonight!”

Jimmy Moretti – “This is your last chance Wildman, get down there and face the Champion, or else…..”

Jay Wildman – “Or else what?”

Jimmy Moretti shakes his head and he stares down Wildman for a few seconds, before out of no where Joey Peyton bursts through the curtains and grabs hold of Jay Wildman! Peyton runs down the entrance ramp with Wildman and throws him head first into the steel ring steps before throwing him into the ring! Moretti calls for the bell to be rung and it looks the match is just getting started!”

Mike Best picks up the body of Jay Wildman and sends him into the corner of the ring. Best begins to lay into Wildman with body shots right and lefts before sending him into the other corner of the ring. Wildman bounces out of the corner, and straight into the ‘Mike Effect’! The crowd boo as the sVo Champion makes the cover on Wildman.
