Fight Us or Join Us?

The camera pans through the bustling backstage area of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, eventually focusing on the locker room door labeled “Dylan MacLeod.” Inside, Dylan MacLeod is preparing for his match later tonight, stretching and lacing up his boots. The young Canadian wrestler exudes a quiet confidence as he goes through his pre-match routine.

Suddenly, the door swings open, and the Canadian Connection — Ali Young, Jake Hughes, and Scott Cole — stride in, their expressions a mix of curiosity and arrogance. Dylan looks up, slightly surprised but not intimidated.

Ali Young: (smiling, but with an edge) Dylan MacLeod. We’ve been watching you since you joined sVo. It’s always good to see another young Canadian tearing things up.

Jake Hughes: (nodding) You’ve got potential, kid. The kind of potential that would fit right in with the Canadian Connection.

Scott Cole: (crossing his arms) We’re the best thing going in sVo. We think you should consider joining us. Imagine what we could do together.

Dylan stands up, meeting their gazes with a calm but firm demeanor.

Dylan MacLeod: (respectfully) I appreciate the offer, really. But I like to make my own path. I believe in earning my success on my terms.

Ali Young’s smile fades, replaced by a stern, almost predatory look.

Ali Young: (stepping closer) Is that so? Well, maybe you need a little lesson in what it means to be part of something bigger. Maybe I’ll teach you that lesson in the main event tonight.

Dylan MacLeod: (not backing down) If that’s how you feel, then bring it on. I’m not afraid to stand on my own.

Jake Hughes and Scott Cole exchange glances, clearly displeased with Dylan’s response.

Jake Hughes: (gritting his teeth) You just made a big mistake, kid.

Scott Cole: (scoffing) You’re gonna regret this.

Ali Young: (smirking) See you in the ring, MacLeod. And trust me, you’ll wish you had taken our offer.

The Canadian Connection turn and leave the locker room, the tension palpable in the air. Dylan watches them go, his determination unwavering.

Dylan MacLeod: (muttering to himself) I guess I’ll just have to show them what I’m made of.

The camera lingers on Dylan’s resolute expression before cutting back to the arena, setting the stage for a highly anticipated main event.

Reinvention

The camera cuts to the backstage interview area where sVo interviewer Katie Smith stands, microphone in hand. Beside her is Jupiter James, who has recently turned her fortunes around in the ring but at the cost of her fanbase. Jupiter is dressed in her ring gear, a confident smirk on her face.

Katie Smith: (smiling) Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Jupiter James. Jupiter, you’ve been on quite a winning streak lately, but some fans have noticed a change in your attitude. What do you have to say about that?

Jupiter James: (rolling her eyes) You know, Katie, I find it funny how everyone is so focused on my “attitude change.” The only thing that’s changed is that I’m winning again. And if some people can’t get behind that, then that’s their problem, not mine.

Katie Smith: (raising an eyebrow) So, you don’t think your recent behavior, like shrugging off Ricky Johnson’s handshake, has anything to do with the reaction from the fans?

Jupiter James: (scoffing) Oh, come on. This isn’t a popularity contest. It’s wrestling. I did what I had to do to get back to where I belong — on top. If Ricky Johnson or anyone else can’t handle that, then maybe they don’t belong here.

Katie Smith: (persisting) But don’t you feel like you’re losing the support of the fans who used to cheer for you?

Jupiter James: (shrugging) The fans can cheer or boo all they want. At the end of the day, I’m here to win. And if that means ruffling a few feathers, so be it. I’m not here to make friends, Katie. I’m here to be the best. And right now, that’s exactly what I’m doing.

Katie Smith: (nodding) So, what’s next for you, Jupiter? What do you want to achieve now that you’re back on a winning streak?

Jupiter James: (smirking) What’s next? I’m going to keep winning, Katie. And anyone who tries to get in my way is going to find out exactly why I’m not someone to mess with. Titles, main events, whatever it is, I’m coming for it all. And I don’t care who likes it or not.

Katie Smith: (turning to the camera) Well, there you have it. Jupiter James, more determined than ever. Back to you.

The camera zooms in on Jupiter’s confident expression before cutting back to the action in the arena, leaving no doubt that she’s focused on one thing: victory.

Decision Made

The scene opens in the opulent office of COO Amy Page. The room is decorated with luxurious furnishings, reflecting the high status of its occupant. Amy Page sits behind her large mahogany desk, her expression one of thinly veiled irritation. The door bursts open as Danny Domino strides in, followed closely by Carlos Vasquez. Both men are heated, clearly eager to make their case.

Amy Page: (sighing heavily) What is it now?

Danny Domino: (angrily) I deserve the shot at Anthony Moretti and the Las Vegas Championship, Amy. I’ve been putting in the work, and I’m done waiting around.

Carlos Vasquez: (stepping forward) With all due respect, Danny, I’ve been on a roll. My performances speak for themselves. I should be the one to challenge Moretti.

Danny Domino: (turning to Carlos) You think you deserve it more than me? That’s a joke.

Carlos Vasquez: (glaring) At least I can back it up in the ring, unlike you.

Amy Page: (slamming her hand on the desk) Enough! I’ve had it with both of you bickering like children. You both make good points, but I’m not going to listen to you two squabble any longer.

Danny Domino and Carlos Vasquez fall silent, their eyes locked on Amy Page.

Amy Page: (taking a deep breath) Here’s what we’re going to do. This Sunday night at Showdown, you both will get your opportunity. It will be a triple threat match for the Las Vegas Championship. You two, against Anthony Moretti.

Danny Domino: (frowning) A triple threat?

Carlos Vasquez: (displeased) Sharing the opportunity?

Amy Page: (nodding firmly) That’s right. You both want the chance, and you’ll both get it. Now, get out of my office and prepare for your match.

Danny Domino and Carlos Vasquez exchange frustrated glances but say nothing more. They turn and leave the office, clearly unhappy about having to share the spotlight.

Amy Page: (muttering to herself) At least now I’ll get some peace.

The camera follows Danny Domino and Carlos Vasquez as they walk down the corridor, their tension palpable. Both men are clearly dissatisfied with the decision, but determined to make the most of their opportunity.

The scene fades out, leaving viewers with the anticipation of a high-stakes triple threat match this Sunday at Showdown.

Main Event
Ali Young vs. Dylan MacLeod

Ringside
With Us or Against Us

The camera pans across the roaring crowd at the Goodfellas Casino Arena as Ali Young stands victorious in the ring, having just defeated Dylan MacLeod in a hard-fought main event. Ali’s expression is a mix of triumph and lingering anger from earlier in the night. Dylan MacLeod, though clearly in pain, gets to his feet and approaches Ali with a gesture of respect.

Dylan MacLeod: (extending his hand) Good match, Ali.

The crowd cheers for Dylan’s sportsmanship, hoping for a respectful conclusion to the contest. Ali Young, however, is still fuming from Dylan’s earlier snub and the frustration of the Canadian Connection losing their titles.

Ali Young: (glowering) You think you can just brush us off and then show respect?

Before Dylan can react, Ali suddenly grabs his extended arm and yanks him down to the mat. The fans gasp in shock as Ali locks in her devastating armbar submission hold.

Julian Fiasco: (from commentary) Oh no, what is Ali doing?! This is uncalled for!

Jeremiah Sloan: (concerned) She’s sending a message, Julian. Dylan turned down her offer earlier tonight, and she’s making him pay for it!

Dylan writhes in pain, tapping out frantically as Ali torques his arm, her face a mask of anger and determination. The referee tries to intervene, but Ali refuses to release the hold.

The crowd’s boos grow louder, mixed with desperate cheers for Dylan as he struggles against the painful submission. Ali’s eyes are cold and unyielding, her message clear.

Julian Fiasco: (pleading) Someone needs to stop this! Ali Young has snapped!

Jeremiah Sloan: (grimly) This is the new Ali Young, folks. She’s not just here to win; she’s here to dominate and make her presence felt.

Finally, after what feels like an eternity, Ali releases the hold, standing over Dylan with a fierce look of satisfaction. She raises her arms in victory as the boos from the crowd reach a crescendo.

Julian Fiasco: (disgusted) What a display of poor sportsmanship from Ali Young! She’s sent a brutal message to Dylan MacLeod tonight.

Jeremiah Sloan: (resigned) Dylan wanted to make his own path, and tonight he’s learned how rough that path can be when you cross someone like Ali Young.

The camera captures the scene of Ali Young standing tall, her eyes scanning the hostile crowd, while Dylan MacLeod clutches his arm in agony on the mat. The show fades to black, leaving the viewers with the image of Ali Young’s ruthless determination.

Jeremiah Sloan: (voice-over) What a way to end sVo Proving Grounds 36. Good night, everyone.

The sVo logo flashes on the screen as the broadcast ends, with the crowd’s mixed reactions echoing in the background.
