Johnny Kaos: “Indeed, Zac! Curtis Knight, Athena, Drew Hendrix, and Buzz Marshall of The Legends Club are determined to assert their dominance. But Adam Garcia, Elijah Drake, and The Starr Brothers are equally determined to make their mark!”

Zac Brindle: “The stakes couldn’t be higher as these two factions collide once more, and with so much on the line, we can expect fireworks in the main event tonight!”

Johnny Kaos: “But before we get to that, we’ve got an action-packed lineup of matches that will keep the adrenaline pumping all night long. Stay tuned, folks, because P:V Uprising is about to kick into high gear!”

Backstage
For Bison

[Just moments after Zac Brindle and Johnny Kaos finish hyping up this week’s show we head backstage where Elena Cruz stands at the ready. There’s a mic in her hand and a smile on her face as she greets the fans of Project: Violence. From the buzz in the air it’s clear that she’s not far from the gorilla position. Standing next to her stands Setsuna Kojima; the metallic gold trim of her gear glints in the light as she flexes her triceps ever so slightly. Opposite Setsuna is Chiaki, pleasantly smiling as she grips her own mic.]

Elena Cruz: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here backstage with the newest Project: Violence signee, “Emerald Dragon” Setsuna Kojima. We’ve seen her at the side of Television Champion Jakucho Akechi for weeks and now we’re just moments away from her international in-ring debut. Setsuna, how does it feel to arrive on the world stage?

[Setsuna waits for Chiaki to translate, nodding along as the ring announcer extraordinaire speaks in Japanese. Once that’s done she huffs a little and gives the inquiry some consideration.]

Setsuna Kojima: <It is a strange feeling. When I first began training my world was very small. Just the dojo, a few other trainees and the veterans leading the instruction. Until a few weeks ago I never imagined that I would be competing overseas. After what happened at home and after everything I lost I didn’t think that I would even be wrestling anymore. But I have gone from wanting only to succeed in Japan to a burning desire to blaze a trail for myself here in America. And tonight is the first step toward that goal.>

[Chiaki provides translation to English as well, more subdued than when she translates for Jakucho.]

Elena Cruz: Tonight you’re facing Kat Kellison in the opening contest. Where is your mind at knowing that you’re going up against an experienced competitor in your Project: Violence debut?

Setsuna Kojima: <Kat-san is experienced, it’s true. I respect her dedication to this sport that we love. But I cannot allow her to slow me down now that I have chosen my path. If she believes that her experience alone will earn her victory tonight, she’s going to be set ablaze by the Emerald Dragon. I guarantee that she has never faced a woman with my power; that power’s going to skin the Kat and drive her straight through the mat. That is not disrespect, that is a promise.>

[There’s a cheer from the live crowd as Jakucho Akechi steps into the shot, the Television Championship on her shoulder. She gives Setsuna a pat on the shoulder and then whispers something to Chiaki as she heads to the gorilla position. Setsuna continues to be a little stiff as she attempts to conduct the interview in a formal manner.]

Elena Cruz: Very determined words, Setsuna. Any final comments before you step through the curtain?

[Setsuna tenses up a little more, eyes drifting off screen in the direction Jakucho just walked. She then meets Chiaki’s gaze and gets a smile and nod from the Power Ryse ring announcer. At this Setsuna’s posture relaxes and the young woman looks straight down the camera for the first time.]

Setsuna Kojima: <It has been 225 days since I last truly felt accomplished in a ring. Each one of those days I have worked hard to one day have the opportunity to change my stars. In that time nothing has changed. There are still promises to keep. While I’m so happy to be fighting under the Power Ryse name, tonight is not for Power Ryse. Tonight..>

[Setsuna smiles with a tinge of sadness.]

Setsuna Kojima: <Tonight is for Kojima Bison-san. I know she’s watching. Tonight I will make her proud.>

[Setsuna pumps her fist for emphasis, then follows Chiaki to the gorilla position. There Chiaki steps through the curtain and we hear a big pop from the crowd as she arrives on the entrance stage. Setsuna grabs the small steps on either side and bows her head in thought or perhaps prayer as the moment arrives. We hear Chiaki’s voice as she opens up the evening’s action.]

Chiaki: Ladies and gentlemen – <entering first in the blue corner, “Emerald Dragon”, KOOOJIIIMAA SEEETSUUUUNAAA!>

[Setsuna’s head pops up and after a deep breath she stands up straight. ‘Riot of Flowers’ hits and Setsuna charges up the steps, through the curtain and towards the future.]

Ringside
That forgotten feeling

[As the bell rings, the fans applaud the efforts of both women. Even with her music hitting, the reality of victory hasn’t quite settled in for Setsuna. Chiaki of course wastes no time switching on her mic and making the announcement.]

Chiaki: <Your winner: Koojiiimaaa Seeetsuunaa!>

[The Emerald Dragon’s eyes go wide as she finally realizes that she’s won her first match in Project: Violence. Despite breathing heavily she smiles ear to ear. The moment the referee raises her hand, Setsuna lets loose a triumphant battle cry. The fans pop for the display of exuberance as well! Setsuna nods emphatically as she revels in her victory; meanwhile Jakucho can be seen climbing into the ring behind her, Television Championship prominently displayed around her waist.]

[A moment later Chiaki has also entered the ring with a bright smile and offering Setsuna the mic. The youngest member of Power Ryse doesn’t accept it immediately. Instead she kneels down next to Kat Kellison and thanks her for their match. After a small smile, the powerhouse nods to the American and stands up. With Jakucho at her side, Setsuna finally accepts the mic from Chiaki.]

Setsuna Kojima: <I DID IT!>

[The fans cheer her enthusiasm even though Chiaki doesn’t translate for her. Once the Power Ryse ring announcer has acquired a second mic, she stands ready to provide the English version of Setsuna’s words.]

Setsuna Kojima: <It might seem like nothing, but please understand. I had forgotten what this was like. To stand in front of a crowd of fans, show them feats of strength they would never expect from me, and stand tall at the end of a battle. It feels so good!>

[Her eyes twinkle, as if beginning to tear up in relief.]

Setsuna Kojima: <Bison-san, whenever you are now, I will keep making you proud. I will be a champion some day, and I will transform myself into the ace you and mom always knew I could be. I will do it while helping Power Ryse create a brand new world in this ring!>

[Her words are as powerful as her offense. Setsuna’s passion is clear from the look of excitement on her face. However, before she can elaborate further Jakucho steps up and puts an arm around her shoulders.]

Jakucho Akechi: <That was pretty damn impressive, wasn’t it?! I told you that Setsuna-san is the real deal! She got started here just like I did, putting away the same misguided veteran who thought she knew better than us. This is just the beginning, loyal lilies. There are still plenty of people standing in the way of our revolution. All of them are getting cut down like the rotten, diseased trees they are.>

[She pats her protege on the shoulder as she speaks. Setsuna awkwardly nods along.]

Jakucho Akechi: <And Power Ryse still has room for other bright new stars. Stars the old guard would kill to keep down. But that’s not happening now. Jakucho-sama won’t allow it. The world’s outgrown all the dinosaurs, and Power Ryse is the asteroid coming to wipe them all out!>

[Jakucho steps in front of Setsuna, her gaze cold and focused. Yet that devilishly playful smile remains.]

Jakucho Akechi: <We’ve got plenty of surprises up our sleeves too. Including that very special one just for Grandpa Satake. Please look forward to it.>

[Jakucho winks right to the camera, a gesture unmistakably directed at Masafumi Satake. It’s only after that that Jakucho steps back to Setsuna’s side. She exchanges glances with the younger woman and then nods encouragingly.]

Setsuna Kojima: <Together our power is immeasurable! Together our power is going to change the world! We are->

Jakucho Akechi, Chiaki and Setsuna Kojima: POWER RYSE!

[The trio grin triumphantly as “Riot of Flowers” hits. With the fans cheering for the group, they exit the ring and head up the ramp. Chiaki and Jakucho are chatting animatedly, but Setsuna? She’s just grinning ear to ear and taking in the experience of victory before a huge crowd.]

Not Tonight

[In the dimly lit backstage area, Boyd Jackson storms toward the entrance, his expression twisted with anger and frustration. Security guards stand vigilant, their stance firm as Jackson approaches.]

Security Guard: “Hold it right there, Jackson. You’re not allowed in tonight.”

Boyd Jackson: “What the hell are you talking about? This is Project: Violence, and I’ve got a match to win tonight!”

[Jackson’s voice reverberates with intensity as he squares off with the guards, his fists clenched at his sides.]

Security Guard: “Orders from the top, Jackson. JD James himself said you’re banned from the premises. No entry.”

[The news hits Jackson like a punch to the gut, his fury boiling over as he glares at the impassive guards.]

Boyd Jackson: “James can’t do this to me! I’ve got a score to settle, and he’s trying to stop me? This ain’t over!”

[With a frustrated growl, Jackson whirls around, his footsteps echoing down the corridor as he disappears into the shadows, his determination unshaken despite the setback. The security guards exchange a glance, knowing that tonight’s events may have just taken an unexpected turn.]

Backstage
A Breath of Fresh Air

[The scene cuts to the locker room of Masafumi Satake and Dash Diaz. Both are making final preparations for their upcoming tag team match. Two weeks ago in Philadelphia, Hate Watson unleashed a brutal attack on Diaz. It was a miracle that Dash walked away at all, let alone practically unscathed. Since the incident, the veteran Satake has taken Diaz under his wing.]

[The two now find themselves moments away from their tag team debut against The Ordinary Gentlemen.]

Masafumi Satake: “I have to be honest, Dash. I feel completely responsible for Watson’s post-match attack on you.”

Dash Diaz: “Masa’, I’m still standing. He’s going to have to do a lot more than that to keep me down. You’ve got to be feeling pretty good that he’s banished to Rising Sun Pro, huh?”

Masafumi Satake: “I mean, I can certainly breathe easier without him haunting me here in Project: Violence, but I really want to get him in the ring and put an end to this mess. He’s a walking disaster. It’s only a matter of time until someone gets seriously hurt.”

Dash Diaz: “That’s probably an understatement. Anyway, thanks for looking out for me. It’s been an amazing experience training with you over the last week, and I’m ecstatic that we’re actually teaming up tonight.”

Masafumi Satake: “You deserve it, Dash. You’re a strong competitor, and it’s the least I can do. I’m going to have Hate Watson’s dark cloud hanging over my head for a long time. It’s no use stewing until he comes back, although, there are a few things I’d like to get off my chest right now.”

[Satake turns his attention directly to the camera, and speaks sharply.]

Masafumi Satake: “Hate Watson, my former best friend. We all saw your viral promo from Japan. Congratulations. You finally made it.”

[Satake steps closer to the camera. He means business. Pure focus ripples through his veins.]

Masafumi Satake: “Hate – take a long look in the mirror. Do you really want to start comparing careers and accolades?  What have you actually achieved? Your career has only been filled with new scar after new scar and jumping from city to city like a lost little lamb. If I’m an indie darling who is past their prime, what in the world does that make you?”

[A dramatic pause. Diaz, situated in the background, sitting on a bench, nods his head in agreement.]

Masafumi Satake: “You’re nothing but an outcast from an outlaw mud show. You’ve let your warped and twisted world view lead you to believe that if you aren’t bleeding then you aren’t entertaining. You’ve had it wrong all of these years, and maybe I should have intervened, and tried to help you, but I’m glad I didn’t because I’ve quickly learned that you’re not worth it. You’re just another nobody… someone that was more comfortable in the background. Remember, it was you who relegated yourself as ‘errand boy’, not me. So, enough of these sad stories.”

[Satake takes a deep breath. It’s not easy to say these things, but it’s necessary.]

Masafumi Satake: “Now… hear me well, Nathan. You know me better than anyone else in this business. Do not doubt me. Do not underestimate me. I want you back in Project: Violence more than anything. I want to end this thing now. So, you say this thing doesn’t end until one of us can’t get back up? Well, I’m standing right here, Nathan. I’m waiting patiently for your return…”

Dash Diaz: “Well said, brother. Now, let’s get out of here and get that first win under our belt!”

[Diaz pats the veteran on the shoulder, and the two leave the dressing room and head towards the ring area for their upcoming tag match.]

Dealing with the Garcia Problem

[The scene opens in the dimly lit locker room of The Legends Club, where Curtis Knight, Athena, Buzz Marshall, and Drew Hendrix are gathered, their expressions a mixture of frustration and determination.]

Curtis Knight: voice dripping with authority “Alright, listen up, everyone. I know we’re not thrilled about having to face Garcia, Drake, and those damn Starr Brothers again tonight.”

[Athena nods in agreement, her eyes flashing with intensity.]

Athena: “They think they can just waltz in here and challenge us like they own the place? They’ve got another thing coming.”

Buzz Marshall: gritting his teeth “Yeah, but what’s the deal with having to face them again so soon? It’s like management wants to see us tear each other apart.”

Drew Hendrix: “I don’t care who they throw at us. We’re The Legends Club, damn it. We don’t back down from anyone.”

Curtis Knight: calm but authoritative “That’s right, Drew. And tonight, our focus is clear. We may not like it, but we’ve got a job to do. Garcia wants to stick his nose where it doesn’t belong, well, it’s our job to remind him why he doesn’t belong here.”

[The group shares a determined nod, their unity unwavering despite their grievances.]

Curtis Knight: locking eyes with each member “Remember, tonight isn’t just about winning. It’s about sending a message. Garcia may think he’s got what it takes to hang with us, but he’s about to learn the hard way that this is our ring, our turf. And when I’m done with him at the PPV, he’ll wish he never crossed paths with The Legends Club.”

[A resolute silence fills the room as the members of The Legends Club mentally prepare for the battle ahead, their focus sharpened by the shared goal of asserting their dominance once more.]

[Backstage, Elena Cruz stands ready with her microphone, waiting for the arrival of Dutch Ramirez, the enigmatic biker, who approaches with purpose.]

Elena Cruz: “Dutch Ramirez, you’ve been in the thick of it lately, especially with your ongoing rivalry against Puck. How do you plan to handle him after the recent attacks?”

[Dutch Ramirez’s demeanor is stoic, his eyes reflecting a mix of determination and frustration as he adjusts the leather vest emblazoned with his biker insignia.]

Dutch Ramirez: “Puck’s been playing dirty, Cruz. Attacking me, destroying what matters to me most. But tonight, it’s not about Puck. It’s about Brandon Snyder.”

[Dutch’s voice carries a weight of resolve, his gaze unwavering as he speaks of his upcoming match.]

Elena Cruz: “And how do you plan to deal with Snyder? He’s proven to be quite the challenge in the ring.”

[Dutch’s jaw tightens, a flicker of intensity crossing his features as he prepares to address the threat posed by Snyder.]

Dutch Ramirez: “Snyder’s a tough opponent, no doubt about it. But tonight, I’m bringing everything I’ve got. He wants a fight, well, he’s got one.”

[His words resonate with determination, the aura of a man ready to face whatever challenges come his way, both inside and outside the ring.]

Elena Cruz: “Thank you, Dutch. Best of luck in your match tonight, and in settling the score with Puck.”

[Dutch nods, his gaze steely as he strides off, the rumble of his motorcycle echoing through the backstage corridors, a symbol of the impending clash awaiting him in the ring.]

[The crowd stirs, their energy fueling Ramirez’s determination as he paces the ring, his eyes blazing with intensity.]

Dutch Ramirez: “I’m calling you out, Puck! I want you, one on one, at the PPV on the 30th of March. No more sneak attacks. No more games. Just you and me, in the ring.”

[His challenge hangs in the air, the crowd echoing their approval with thunderous applause and chants of “Ramirez! Ramirez!” Ramirez raises the microphone once more, his gaze unwavering.]

Dutch Ramirez: “You’ve got one week, Puck. One week to man up and give me your answer. Because come Ascencion, there’ll be nowhere left for you to hide.”

[With a determined glare, Dutch Ramirez drops the microphone, his challenge issued loud and clear as he exits the ring, leaving the crowd buzzing with anticipation for the showdown to come.]

A message to Akechi

[In the dimly lit backstage area, Midas, wearing his signature mask, stands stoically as Katya Roux approaches him, her presence commanding attention.]

Katya Roux: “Midas, my silent warrior, we’re just three weeks away from your opportunity at the TV Championship. Tonight, against Chopper Anderson, you have a chance to send a resounding message to the entire roster.”

[Midas nods, his eyes reflecting determination as he listens to Katya’s words.]

Midas: nods silently

Katya Roux: “Chopper Anderson is no pushover, but neither are you. Show him, and everyone else, the unstoppable force that you are. Make them remember your name, Midas.”

[Midas’s demeanor remains unchanged, his focus unwavering as he prepares mentally for the task ahead.]

Midas: raises a clenched fist in silent affirmation

Katya Roux: “That’s my champion. Tonight, let the ring be your canvas, and paint a masterpiece of domination. They’ll never forget the name… Midas.”

[With a final nod of encouragement, Midas and Katya Roux part ways, the anticipation of battle lingering in the air as Midas prepares to make his mark in the ring.]

Schools Out

[In the bustling backstage area of the arena, Darren Starr and Simon Starr, the reigning P:V Tag Team Champions, are seen going over their strategy for the upcoming main event. The brothers, focused and determined, discuss their plan of attack when they are approached by the Masters of the Mat, Iron Mike Donovan and Gentleman George Lancaster.]

Iron Mike Donovan: “Ah, the Starr Brothers, champions in their own right.”

Gentleman George Lancaster: “Indeed, quite the formidable team you are.”

[The Starr Brothers exchange glances, their expressions guarded as they assess the newcomers.]

Darren Starr: “What can we do for you, gentlemen?”

Iron Mike Donovan: “Just offering a bit of friendly advice, lads. We’ve had our fair share of battles in the ring, and we couldn’t help but notice a few areas where you might improve.”

Simon Starr: “Oh, is that so? Well, we appreciate the gesture, but we’ve been doing just fine on our own.”

[Gentleman George Lancaster chuckles softly, his demeanor dripping with condescension.]

Gentleman George Lancaster: “Of course, of course. But there’s always room for improvement, isn’t there? And who better to offer guidance than seasoned veterans like ourselves?”

[The tension in the air is palpable as the Starr Brothers exchange a knowing look, their patience wearing thin.]

Darren Starr: “Thanks, but no thanks. We’ve got our own methods, and they’ve worked pretty well for us so far.”

Simon Starr: “We’ll take our chances with our own instincts, if you don’t mind.”

[With a curt nod, the Starr Brothers turn away, leaving the Masters of the Mat to ponder their rejection. As Donovan and Lancaster watch the champions walk away, a hint of rivalry flickers in their eyes, setting the stage for the clash to come.]

JD James: “Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, I come to you with an announcement that concerns the safety and integrity of Project: Violence. Due to the escalating chaos and conflicts involving Boyd Jackson, Darrel Robles, James Mendoza, and Darwin Jones, I have made the decision to enforce a strict measure.”

[James leans forward, his voice firm and unwavering as he continues.]

JD James: “Effective immediately, Boyd Jackson, Darrel Robles, James Mendoza, and Darwin Jones are banned from the premises of tonight’s event. Their actions have disrupted the peace of this organization, and it will not be tolerated any longer.”

[He pauses, his gaze piercing through the lens with a sense of resolve.]

JD James: “Furthermore, at the upcoming PPV event Ascension on the 30th March, these four competitors will face each other in a Fatal Four-Way Match. However, let me make this abundantly clear: if any of them dare to lay a hand on each other before the designated match, they will be terminated from Project: Violence, effective immediately.”

Teddy Rush: “Yeah, we got some unfinished business with Rigg and Ellis.”

[JD James raises an eyebrow, acknowledging their presence before gesturing for them to continue.]

[JD James leans back in his chair, considering their request for a moment before nodding in agreement.]

JD James: “You want your shot, you got it. Consider it official: at Ascension, it’ll be Bjorn Asulf and Teddy Rush versus Stevie Rigg and Edwin Ellis. May the best team win.”

One Step Closer

[Backstage, Elena Cruz stands ready with her microphone as ‘the Spanish Ace’ Adam Garcia walks into the frame, his confidence radiating.]

Elena Cruz: “Adam Garcia, tonight you’re part of a high-stakes main event, and tensions are running high. How do you anticipate the match unfolding, especially with the no countouts and no disqualifications stipulation?”

Adam Garcia: “Elena, mi amiga, tonight’s match is the kind of chaos I thrive in. The Legends Club may think they have the advantage, but Elijah Drake, the Starr Brothers, and myself—we’re a united front against the tyranny of Curtis Knight and his lackeys.”

[He flashes a confident smirk, his eyes shining with determination.]

Adam Garcia: “As for the stipulations, no countouts, no DQ’s? It’s a playground tailor-made for someone like me. Anything goes, Elena, and that means I can unleash the full extent of my abilities without restraint.”

[He pauses, his tone turning serious.]

Adam Garcia: “Curtis Knight, mark my words, tonight, your reign of dominance hits a roadblock. And when I’m through with the Legends Club, I’ll be one step closer to claiming what’s rightfully mine—the P:V Championship.”
