Elena Cruz: Adam! Adam Garcia, can we have a word?

Adam Garcia: Not now, Elena. I’ve got bigger things on my mind.

[Adam Garcia offers a dismissive wave of his hand, his focus unyielding as he continues on his path.]

Elena Cruz: But Adam, the fans want to know—

Adam Garcia: The fans can wait. Tonight, I’ve got a score to settle with the Legends Club, and I don’t have time for interviews or distractions. If you’ll excuse me.

[With a determined stride, Adam Garcia brushes past Elena Cruz, his eyes fixed firmly on the challenge that lies ahead. As the echoes of his footsteps fade into the distance, Elena Cruz watches him go, her expression a mixture of frustration and intrigue.]

Elena Cruz: Well, folks, it looks like ‘The Spanish Ace’ Adam Garcia isn’t in the mood for talking tonight after his loss in the European Wrestling League earlier this week. Backstage
Masters Meet The Champions

[In a secluded corner of the backstage area, the Masters of the Mat, Iron Mike Donovan and Gentleman George Lancaster, huddle around a monitor, analyzing the recent tag team match between Bjorn Asulf and Teddy Rush against Rebel Society. Their expressions are stern, their eyes sharp as they dissect each move and countermove with precision.]

Iron Mike Donovan: Lackluster footwork on Rush’s part, and Asulf’s timing was off during that sequence. Sloppy execution overall.

Gentleman George Lancaster: Agreed, Iron Mike. Rebel Society’s cohesion was admirable, but their technique lacked finesse. They relied too heavily on brute force rather than strategic prowess.

[As the Masters of the Mat continue their critique, their attention is suddenly drawn to the approaching figures of the P:V Tag Team Champions, the Starr Brothers, Darren and Simon. The champions wear expressions of mild curiosity, their interest piqued by the Masters’ intense analysis.]

Darren Starr: Gentlemen, seems like you’ve got quite the discerning eye for tag team wrestling.

[Iron Mike Donovan and Gentleman George Lancaster exchange a glance, acknowledging the presence of the champions with a nod of respect.]

Iron Mike Donovan: Indeed, we pride ourselves on our astute observations and uncompromising standards.

Simon Starr: Well, we couldn’t help but overhear your thoughts on the match. Care to share your insights with the champions?

[The Starr Brothers’ invitation hangs in the air, prompting a moment of contemplation from the Masters of the Mat. With a subtle nod, Iron Mike Donovan gestures toward the monitor, inviting the champions to join them in their analysis.]

Iron Mike Donovan: By all means, gentlemen. Let’s delve into the intricacies of tag team excellence, shall we?

[As the champions and the Masters of the Mat immerse themselves in the discussion, the backstage area resonates with the shared passion for tag team competition, each team driven by their unwavering commitment to excellence in the ring.]

International Ambitions

JD James: Elijah, good to see you. What brings you by today?

[Elijah Drake steps into the office, his presence commanding respect as he meets JD James with a determined expression.]

Elijah Drake: JD, I wanted to talk to you about my future here in P:V. The last few weeks didn’t go the way I hoped, but I’m not about to let that hold me back. I want to keep pushing forward, keep fighting for this company.

JD James: That’s the spirit, Elijah. You’ve always been a cornerstone of P:V, and I know you’ve got a lot more to give. What’s on your mind?

Elijah Drake: I’ve been thinking… I may have missed my shot at the P:V Championship, but there’s another title I’ve got my eye on. Angelo Anderson holds the International Heavyweight Championship over at DW, and I want to bring that title home to P:V.

JD James: Ah, I see where you’re going with this. Taking the fight to DW, huh? I like the sound of that. Let me make a few calls, see what strings I can pull. We’ll get you that opportunity, Elijah. You’ve earned it.

[JD James nods with determination, his gaze meeting Elijah Drake’s with unwavering resolve.]

JD James: Consider it done, Elijah. We’ll make P:V proud.

[With a firm handshake, JD James and Elijah Drake solidify their agreement, united in their pursuit of championship glory. As Elijah Drake exits the office, a sense of determination fills the air, signaling the beginning of a new chapter in his storied career.]

Single Match
James Mendoza vs. Boyd Jackson

Backstage
A Forgotten Memory

[The scene cuts to Masafumi Satake pacing back and forth in front of a Project: Violence banner. The only thought racing through his mind was ‘retribution to Hate Watson’. The last few weeks have been agony and suffering for Masafumi, and he is ready to return the favor. Although the Main Event is a few matches away, Satake is already dressed in his wrestling gear. With a scowl on his face, he begins to speak, looking directly into the camera.]

Masafumi Satake: “I can’t wait any longer, Watson. The games, the harassment, the bullshit… it all ends tonight. It’s funny how quickly things can change. One second you’re my dead best friend, and the next you’re attempting to make my life a living hell while choking me out with a bull rope.”

[He pauses, and continues to pace back and forth.]

Masafumi Satake: “Well, you’ve failed, Watson. The time for doom and gloom is over. You’ve haunted me for weeks, but tonight that changes. The shock has faded. The trauma has ended. Plain and simple, I don’t care about you anymore. You’re just going to be another bump in the road. A forgotten memory.”

[With his confidence growing, he smirks.]

Masafumi Satake: “My sole focus now is hurting you. Tonight in the squared circle I’m going to return the favor, and after I’m done, I’m going to send you packing back to Japan. There was a reason why you were in my shadow for all these years, and tonight I’m going to show the fans of New York the reason why…”

[He then shakes his head.]

Masafumi Satake: “… the only problem is that we won’t be in that ring alone. Of course, Jakucho Akechi had to spoil the party. The chatter box that does not stop. She has already bested me once during my tenure, and I have no intention of allowing that to happen again.”

[One more deep breath.]

Masafumi Satake: “No more excuses. No more distractions. It’s time I get back on track.”

[Satake storms off camera, setting the stage for the Three Way Dance later in the evening. The excitement in the Barclays Center hits a fever pitch as the shot fades away.]

Tag Team Match
Edwin Ellis & Stevie Rigg vs. The Ordinary Gentlemen

Backstage
One & Done

Elena Cruz: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with the grizzled Canadian veteran, Puck, who had quite the altercation last week. Puck, can you shed some light on why you decided to attack Dutch Ramirez after your match?

Puck: Look, Elena, Ramirez had it coming. He decided to stick his nose where it didn’t belong, and that’s never a smart move, especially when you’re dealing with someone like me. I don’t go looking for trouble, but when it finds me, I make sure it knows who it’s dealing with.

Elena Cruz: But some might say your actions were a bit extreme. Ramirez had just fought a tough match.

Puck: Extreme? Maybe. But you don’t understand, Elena. In this business, you don’t get points for being nice. You gotta protect yourself, your turf. Ramirez learned that the hard way, and if he’s smart, he won’t be showing his face around here again.

Elena Cruz: So, you don’t regret your actions?

Puck: Regret? Nah. I did what I had to do. Ramirez learned a lesson, and maybe the rest of the locker room did too. This is P:V, Elena. It’s not a place for the faint-hearted.

Elena Cruz: Strong words from Puck there, folks. Back to you.

[Buzz Marshall, his gaze unwavering, nods in agreement as he listens to Knight’s words.]

Curtis Knight: Buzz, I don’t give a damn if you beat Garcia or not tonight. What matters is that you make him pay. You make him feel every ounce of pain, every shred of doubt. Break him down, Buzz. Show him what happens when you dare to cross the Legends Club.

[As Knight speaks, his voice carries an edge of authority, his determination to uphold the legacy of the Legends Club palpable in the air.]

Buzz Marshall: Consider it done, boss. Garcia’s going to regret ever stepping foot in our ring.

[Buzz Marshall’s words echo with conviction, his loyalty to the Legends Club unwavering as he prepares to do battle against their newest adversary. With their sights set on victory, the Legends Club stands united, ready to unleash their fury upon anyone who dares to challenge their dominance in P:V.]

Reunited

Elena Cruz: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with the dynamic duo, Edwin Ellis and Stevie Rigg, who just made quick work of their opponents out there. Congratulations on the win, gentlemen. Edwin, Stevie, can you share with us what brought you two together as a tag team?

[Edwin Ellis, his confidence palpable, steps forward with a smirk, flanked by Stevie Rigg, who radiates an air of defiance.]

Edwin Ellis: Elena, it’s simple really. Stevie and I, we go way back. We’ve seen the inside of this business, the underhanded deals, the betrayals. We got tired of being tossed around like yesterday’s news. So, we decided to take matters into our own hands.

Stevie Rigg: That’s right. We’re sick of playing by other people’s rules, getting pushed aside like we don’t matter. But together, we’re a force to be reckoned with. Edwin’s got my back, and I’ve got his. That’s more than I can say for most people around here.

[Stevie Rigg’s words carry a hint of bitterness, his eyes reflecting years of frustration finally coming to a head.]

Elena Cruz: Stevie, it seems like you’ve finally found someone you can trust in Edwin. What made you decide to team up with someone now after countless offers when you fought the Legends Club?

Stevie Rigg: Trust is hard to come by in this business, Elena. But Edwin… he’s proven himself. We might not always see eye to eye, but when it comes down to it, I know he’s got my back. And that’s more than I can say for most folks around here.

[As Stevie Rigg speaks, a steely resolve settles over him, his determination clear as day. With their partnership solidified, Edwin Ellis and Stevie Rigg stand united, ready to carve their own path to success in the cutthroat world of P:V.]

Beside her, the enigmatic figure of Midas, silent and imposing, exudes an aura of restrained power.]

Katya Roux: [Her voice cutting through the clamor, Katya Roux barges into the office of JD James, her presence commanding attention.] JD! We need to talk, and we need to talk now.

[Startled, JD James looks up from his desk, his expression a mixture of surprise and apprehension. He knows all too well the formidable reputation of Katya Roux and the silent force that is Midas.]

JD James: Katya, Midas, what’s the meaning of this intrusion?

Katya Roux: [Her tone brooking no argument, Katya fixes JD with a steely gaze.] We’re tired of waiting in the shadows, JD. Midas deserves more opportunities, and we’re not going to be ignored any longer.

[Midas remains silent, his presence a looming testament to the intensity of the moment. His mask betrays nothing, yet his silent vigil speaks volumes.]

JD James: Look, Katya, I understand your frustration, but these things take time. Opportunities—

Katya Roux: [Cutting him off with a wave of her hand, Katya’s patience wears thin.] We’re done waiting, JD. Midas is a force to be reckoned with, and he’s ready to prove it. We demand more opportunities, and we demand them now.

[Sensing the gravity of the situation, JD James weighs his options. The air crackles with tension, the balance of power teetering on a knife’s edge.]

Main Event
Three Way Dance
Jakucho Akechi vs. Hate Watson vs. Masafumi Satake

Ringside
You Said You Wanted Flowers

[In disbelief, the P:V Television Champion shuffles to the backstage area, wincing in pain. ‘Screw that wooly mammoth Watson and that decrepit dinosaur Satake too’, are among the many things on the mind of Jakucho Akechi. Jak, Chiaki and Jak’s mysterious ally all stop dead in their tracks when they first hear it.]

[Distorted rock and roll blares from Jaks’ locker room. Being a champ has many perks and a private locker room is one of them. With all the inhabitants currently outside, it’s obvious that something is askew.]

[Jaks looks to her entourage, who are equally perplexed. With hesitation, “The Queen of Queer Style” opens the door and is struck with a cacophony of sounds and a pungent affront of smells.]

Jakucho Akechi: <”What the f- god, it smells like one of the grandpas died in here.”>

[Chiaki’s eyes go wide as she spots something within the room.]

Chiaki: <”Jakucho-dono, look!”>

[The music is clearly “Revolution” by the Beatles, but is grotesquely distorted and slowed, lacking any rhythm or charm. The locker room is littered with dozens upon dozens of dead roses that choke the air with their putrid aroma.]

[The Television Champion grits her teeth as she reads the disturbing message scrawled on the mirror: “You said you wanted flowers…”]

[Her shock turns more and more to simmering fury the longer she gazes upon the horrifying scene. Jak’s hands ball up into fists, her eyes narrowing with rage. Chiaki stands near the door, hand covering her mouth in horror. The third woman’s head is on a swivel, watching for an ambush that might come from any direction.]

Chiaki: <”Who would do this? Who could be this twisted?”>

[A low growl from the Queen of Queer Style is her response.]

Jakucho Akechi: “BASTARD.”

[She kicks over a chair as she understands exactly who invaded her private space. Jak lingers on the message a moment longer, then spins around dramatically.]

Jakucho Akechi: <”That hairy old son of a bitch must think he’s clever huh? He’s dead. He’s fucking dead.”>

[Jak shoots a look at Chiaki and nods to the door.]

Jakucho Akechi: <”Go demand a meeting with JD James. Tell him he needs to tighten his security or he’s got hell to pay. And tell him to bring the hammer down on that bastard Watson.  I will kick his ass for free, but a psychopath like him doesn’t deserve to get anywhere close to gold!”>

[Chiaki hesitates, face full of concern as Jak roars with righteous indignation. It’s only when Jak nods emphatically towards the door that Chiaki bows and rushes off to deliver the message. Jak then turns to her newest ally, who nods in silent understanding. The champion then reaches up and pulls the sunglasses off of her face. Underneath is a fairly young woman with steely gray eyes. Wisps of dyed silver hair poke out from underneath her baseball cap.]

Jakucho Akechi: <”No more playing around. It’s time to put these grandpas on notice. I’m still the champion, the face of Project: Violence. We’re going to start taking over.”>

[She gently pats the built young woman on the shoulder. The trust between them is clear even with nary a word spoken by her.]

Jakucho Akechi: <”Next week, it’s time.. for Power Ryse.”>

[The younger woman smiles excitedly for a brief moment, only to quickly correct her expression to stoicism. Jak’s face is filled with rage as the scene fades out.]
