System Failure

Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri
The System Failure intro launches showing various shots of DW wrestlers and snippets of DW action over the last two weeks. The movie stops and the scenes fade into Creed who are set up on one of the corners of the DW Entrance stage. The sold out crowd goes silent until Creed start to play ‘Higher’, the theme tune for System Failure and the fans go crazy and the fireworks shoot up. The song finishes and the scene fades out.
The scene cuts to the backstage area where DW Owner Jon Storm is standing with the mystery attacker that has been running rampage through out the federation in recent weeks. Storm is wearing a smart black suit while the huge mans beside him is wearing a ring attire of black and red tights, wristbands and black elbow supporters. He has his long blond hair damp and hanging down the side of his face.
Storm: Now Ric, tonight is the night. In front of this sold out crowd you have the opportunity to go out there and make you mark on DW and in your debut match capture the Internet Title.
Ric: Mr Storm, as you well know. There is no one that can go up against me and survive. You have had first hand experience of this and so has the Internet Champion Jet. Jet I advise you to get back to your computer and log onto he Internet and find out some new wrestling tips because you are sure going to need them when you go against me. Jet, its time to feel the Payne!
DW Internet Title Match – Jet (c) Vs. Arron Bomb Vs. Mystery Attacker
Smoke shoots up from either side of the DW-Tron. Aaron’s music plays and he come down at a slow sombre pace, as the first verse plays. As the music reaches the big loud chorus Bomb rips off his ordinary black cloak and black hat to reveal a red suit and white shirt with red tie and red shoes. Bomb runs into the ring starts shaking the ropes and gets himself psyched.
Ring Announcer: Coming to the ring, one of the challengers, from Middlesbrough, England he weights in at 285 pounds, Arron Bomb!!
The crowd gets silent as The DW-Tron shows MR Millennium as Never Gonna Stop By Rob Zombie hits the sound system. Jet walks down the ramp talking to the fans. When he is in the Middle of the Ramp he taunts the fans Ring Announcer: Making his way to the Ring. Weighing in at 222 Pounds from Oklahoma. The DW Internet Champion, Jet!!!
“Walk” by Pantera hits the sound system and the crowd rise to boo as steps out onto the entrance stage. Ric stands out the top of the entrance stage and looks down at Jet and Arron Bomb in the ring. Ric then taunts the crowd at the top of the stage which gets even more boos before he confidently walks down to the ring. Ric steps up onto the ring apron and taunts the crowd again, getting more boos. Ric then steps into the ring.
Ring Announcer: The second challenger from San Antonio Texas, he weights in at 280 pounds, he is ‘The Career Killer’ Ric Payne!
Aaron and Jet tie up in the middle of the ring as the bell sounds. Jet whips Arron into the ropes and then ducks as he comes back off the ropes. Arron jumps over Jet and bounces off the far ropes but gets taken down by a huge belly-to-belly suplex slam from Ric Payne. Payne then turns to Jet and taunts him. Jet dives forward to grab Payne but he side steps him and then nails him with a modified atomic drop. As Bomb begins to get up Payne kicks him in the gut before grabbing him around the waist and executing a thunderous snap powerbomb.
The fans cant believe the power that they are seeing an Payne dominates Bomb with kicks to him while he is down on the mat until Jet stops the offence with a dropkick to the back of Payne’s head. The dropkick staggers Payne but Jet takes advantage with a back suplex to the challenger for his Internet Title belt. Jet then climbs to the top rope looking possibly for the flying leg drop but is thwarted as Ric Payne gets up to his feet. Bomb runs at him but gets knocked down with a big boot. Payne moves over to Jet and picks him up off of the turnbuckle with a military slam. Ric Payne then goes for the cover on Jet.

Arron Bomb breaks up the count with an elbow drop to the back of Payne’s head. Ric Payne stands up and shakes his head before grabbing Arron Bomb for his finishing move ‘The Sacrifice’ which is a cradle Piledriver. The fans pop, but not for the move. They cheer as Spaz comes running down the entrance ramp with two chairs. Spaz throws a chair to Jet before nailing Payne in the head with his chair. The chair shot staggers Payne but does not knock him down. Jet then nails Payne in the head with the chair but again Payne does not go down. Spaz and Jet continue with chair shots to Payne until he falls back into a corner.
As he does Arron Bomb rolls up Jet from behind but Jet kicks out on two. Spaz is then ordered out of the ring by the referee as Gillesp jumps over the security barrier. Gillesp who is seemingly angry about not getting booked for the PPV match, climbs to the top rope and leaps off nailing a ‘Big Bang’ on Payne! Gillesp celebrates the move but as he does Payne gets to his feet behind him and throws him out of the ring! Payne then follows Gillesp out of the ring to the outside.
Back in the ring Jet and Bomb tie up again. Bomb takes Jet into a headlock but Jet pushes him away and then nails him with a boom kick! Jet then goes for the cover on Bomb but he kicks out on two. Bomb gets up to his feet and takes down Jet with a single leg takedown. Arron then nails a suplex on Jet and then locks on the ‘Side Blast’! Jet tries to move closer to the ropes but he cant make it. It looks as if Jet will have to tap but at the last minute he reaches out his leg and gets the ropes. Up get both men and Bomb goes for a clothesline on Jet but he ducks and nails a Superkick on Arron! Jet then climbs to the top rope and nails the flying leg drop.
Jet goes for the cover just as Ric Payne slides into the ring.

Payne jumps but lands on Jet just after the three count. Jet rolls out of the ring, Internet Title in hand, but this one is far from over.

DW Tag Team Title Match – Dave and Kevin Adams (c) Vs. Spaz and Viper
“SuperBeast” by Rob Zombie hits as Dave and Kevin Adams strut to the ring with their tag team titles. Kevin gets in the ring as Dave gets a microphone. Dave proceeds to get into the squared circle as he motions for the music to die down.
Dave: Well, the time as come to show the world our commercial…so roll the footage!
The arena darkens as on the screen it counts down in old movie fashion style from 5. It starts off with the coca-cola logo, and it shows Dave and Kevin Adams with obviously fake pictures of former K.C. personalities like Elvis Grbac, Marty Schottenheimer, and Tony Muser. There is a voice over…
Voice Over: These great celebrities drink it..so should you, and if you want to be a great Dynasty Wrestling champion like Dave and Kevin Adams then bottoms up! Coca-Cola the best soft drink out there..oh and Dr. Pepper sucks!
The screen shuts off as the lights come up. The crowd is booing loudly.
Dave: Now wasn’t that the best commercial ever?
Chants of “You suck” “you suck” go through out the arena as Dave tosses the mic over to the ring announcer.
The lights go out and ‘Feel so Numb’ by Rob Zombie hits the sound system Spaz and Viper walk down the entranceway and stand at ringside. Spaz and Viper then slide into the ring and then they yell and raise their arms in the air as Fireworks go off.
Ring Announcer: Coming to the ring from Toronto Canada, the challengers, Spaz and Viper.
Spaz and Dave start off the match as Dave takes down Spaz with a body slam. Spaz gets back up to his feet and arm drags Dave into an arm bar. Spaz tightens up on the hold and lets go as Dave begins to force himself up. Spaz then bounces off of the ropes and goes for a flying shoulder block but Dave jumps out of the way and Spaz jumps into the turnbuckle. Dave rolls up Spaz out of the turnbuckle.

Viper breaks up the count.
Spaz needs to make the tag but Dave continues the offence on his shoulder with a shoulder breaker then a leg drop on his shoulder. Dave then makes the tag to Kevin. Kevin hits a falling punch into Spaz’s shoulder and then picks him up before jerking him down by the arm. Kevin then bounces off of the ropes and hits a lariat on Spaz before tagging out. In comes Dave and he his mounted punches on Spaz before taunting Viper. Viper storms into the ring. The referee tries to restrain him but gets his in the melee that follows and goes down.
Viper grabs Dave around the throat and chokeslams him down much to the delight of the fans. However Viper is knocked down from behind by Kevin Adams who then nails him with the ‘One of a Kind’. Kevin then tosses Viper out of the ring and follows him to the outside. Back inside the ring the referee, Dave Adams and Spaz are all down. The fans begin to boo as Jon Storm appears at the top of the entrance ramp with Ric Payne. Storm mutters instructions to Payne and Payne then makes his way down the entrance ramp and into the ring. Payne picks up Spaz, and then man then interfered earlier in his match and nails him with ‘The Sacrifice’. Payne then rolls Dave over Spaz as a referee runs down from the back and makes the count.

“Come With Me” by Puff Daddy begins to blare through the arena. The lights dim and begin to flash blue and white. The crowd begins to boo as Shawn Storm steps onto the stage. Storm flexes and stretches as he walks down the stage ramp. Storm taunts the crowd as he walks to the ring. The crowd boo’s louder as Storm climbs up onto the ring apron. Storm stretches on the ropes and steps into the ring. The lights over the ring begin flashing as Storm gives the crowd a double bicep pose as the music fades out.

The music fades and the lights fade on to find “Smoked” Shawn Stevens standing in the middle of the ring.
As the opening chords of Paranoid Android begin a small cloud of smoke appears at the top of the ramp. Adam walks out and stops at the top of the ramp and puts his arms out in an open hand crucifix. After a few seconds he walks down to the ring and slides under the ropes and waits for his opponent.
The tension builds in the ring among the three participants. Finally Lax grabs Storm by the arm and whips him into the ropes. Lax then teams up with Stevens to knock down Storm in a double team clothesline. However the double team does not last long as Adam Lax nails a strong Russian leg sweep on Stevens. Stevens gets up to his feet but is knocked straight back down as ‘Superstar’ Shawn Storm executes a German suplex on him.
Lax then grabs Storm from behind and throws him shoulder first in between the ring ropes and into the steel turnbuckle. Lax then pulls Storm out and hits him with a running DDT. Lax then goes for the cover on Storm.

Kickout by Storm. Lax turns his attention to Stevens who runs at him with a double axe handle but Lax cuts him off with a shot to the midsection and then a brainbuster move. However Lax fails to capitalise on the move as Storm hits him with a spinebuster. Storm then goes for the quick cover on Lax but he kicks out. Storm then gets to his feet as Lax climbs to the top rope. Lax goes of the top with an attempted elbow smash to Storm but Storm blocks before nailing an overhead belly to back suplex on Lax.
Lax gets to his feet but Storm grabs him by the back of the head and tosses him to the outside. Storm then turns to Stevens as The Show and Malice walk down the entrance ramp to the boos of the fans. Storm begins nailing big right hands on Stevens in the corner as Show and Malice take down Lax on the outside, holding him down and hitting mounted punches.
On the inside of the ring Storm brings Stevens out of the corner and nails him with the ‘Stormdriver’ which gets heat from the crowd. Storm signals the crowd before picking Stevens back up and nailing him with the ‘Switch Blade’. Storm then goes for the cover as Show and Malice hold down Lax on the outside.

Storm then tosses Stevens out of the ring as Malice and Show slide in. Show and Malice then take an arm each of Storm and hold them in the air as New Breed flashes up on the DW-Tron.
DW International Title Match – ‘The Icon’ Chris Boswell (c) Vs. KaotiK
“Nobodies” by Marilyn Manson hits and the arena goes into darkness. A green mist pours from the entrance and KaotiK is seen as a shadow appearing through the mist holding his DW Hardcore Title belt. The mist then slowly clears and KaotiK sprints to the ring before sliding in.
Ring Announcer: Coming to the ring from Pittsburgh, weighing in at 275 pounds, he is the DW Hardcore Champion, KaotiK!!
The lights in the arena fade to black as “Supernova goes pop” by PM5K hits. Crimson and Grey lights flash through the crowd as Golden pyro explodes on the stage and Chris Boswell is seen throw the smoke of the pyro as he makes his way to the ring. The fans boo DW International Champion but he simply ignores them as he slides into the ring and poses on the turnbuckle with his title belt. Ring Announcer: Coming to the ring from Long Beach California weighing in at 232 pounds, he is the DW International Champio0n, ‘The Icon’ Chris Boswell!
Both men stand facing each other in the ring and both hand their title belts to the referee. The referee then takes out a coin and asks KaotiK to make the call. KaotiK calls Tails. The referee flips the coin and it lands as tails. The bell then rings for the DW International Title match to get underway. Boswell hits big right hands to KaotiK, which back him up towards the ropes. Boswell then whips KaotiK into the ropes and as he comes back he nails him with a big spinebuster and gets a two count from the resulting cover.
Up gets KaotiK and he hits a suplex on Boswell. KaotiK then picks up Boswell in another suplex position but this time places him on top of the turnbuckle. As Boswell is sitting on the top of the turnbuckle KaotiK hammers him with right hands while he cant move. KaotiK then grabs the leg of Boswell and takes him back down to the mat with a big single leg takedown. KaotiK goes for the cover on Boswell, but somehow ‘The Icon’ kicks out.
Up gets Boswell and he grabs KaotiK in a waist lock. KaotiK reverses with a reverse elbow smash on Boswell and then nails a big DDT. KaotiK goes for another cover but again Boswell gets the kick out. Boswell gets back to his feet again and as he does he low blows KaotiK. Boswell then nails a big belly to back suplex before going for the cover.

Kickout on two by the Hardcore Champion KaotiK. KaotiK gets back to his feet and charges at Boswell with an attempted clothesline but as he does Boswell ducks and KaotiK wipes out the referee in the corner. Boswell goes for a neckbreaker from behind on KaotiK but KaotiK manages to swing the move around into a DDT. Boswell gets back up and stares into KaotiK’s eyes before slapping him around the face. KaotiK then slaps Boswell back and a fist fight ensues when former Internet Champion and Undefeated star Rick Lacey comes running down to the ring.
KaotiK and Boswell are unaware; Rick hits Boswell then starts beating him up, Rick puts his thumb up at KaotiK and then they both start beating the hell out of the Boswell. Rick gets out the ring then grabs both International Title and Hardcore Title, he hands them both to KaotiK. KaotiK goes to the crowd holding up both titles, when Rick pounces and then starts beating the hell out of KaotiK. Rick picks him up and powerbombs him; Rick quickly gets up then goes to the top rope and delivers the Lacey Time elbow on KaotiK.
Rick grabs both belts and then salutes to the crowd who cheer because of Rick’s return. Rick leaves the ring with both titles.

Single Match – The Show Vs. Adam Striker
“The Streets” by Jay-Z & R. Kelly hits the PA System and blue lights start to light the whole crowd and on the DW-Tron flashes ‘New Breed’ followed by a series of The Show photos start to appear but the best thing to appear is this, “Talent is Supremacy”. After those words, The Show comes from behind the curtains and stand on the ramp where he spells “Show” with his hands. The crowd boo because of The Show. The Show starts walking down the ramp and around the ring ignoring the fans. He walks up the stairs and enters the ring. In the ring, The Show climbs all four turnbuckles and spells “Show” with his hands and waits for his opponent.
Ring Announcer: In the ring from the Dominican Republic, weighing in at 290 pounds, The Show!
“Your Unbelievable” by Thousand Foot Krutch hits the arena. All fans come to a huge pop, and the lights quickly go out and blue spotlights float around the audience. Orange explosives go off on the stage, while Adam Striker walks out on to the stage, and starts walking down the ramp. The fans chant, “Striker!!! Striker!!! Striker!!!” repeatedly, while he begins to be introduced.
Ring Announcer: Coming to the ring, weighing in at 230 lbs. standing at 6’5″, from Wichita, Kansas…. Adam Striker!!!!
Striker reaches the ring, and slides right in it. He looks at The Show, then jumps up on a turnbuckle and puts his fist up in the air. The fans give a hug pop. He walks across the ring, again looking straight at The Show, and jumps on the turnbuckle to stick his fist in the air for yet another large pop from the live-n-roaring crowd.
Striker and Show stare each other down as the fans prepare to watch the match. Striker reaches forward and takes down Show with a headlock takedown. Show spins around into a wristlock but Striker counters again with a move similar to an arm drag. Up gets Show and he whips Striker into the corner. Show goes to follow up with a body splash but Striker moves out of the way and then hits a German suplex on Show as he bounces out of the corner. The fans cheer as Striker begins to hammer away at the back of Show’s head and neck before getting up and bouncing off of the ropes and dropping an elbow on him.
Up gets Show but Striker takes him into a side headlock. Striker tightens the headlock but Show manages to get a great counter move in by hitting Striker with a back suplex. Up gets Striker but Show is there waiting for him with a right hand and takes Striker back into the ropes. Show pushes Striker back again into the ropes and then knocks him down with a reverse elbow, which gets huge heat from the crowd.
Striker gets up but Show grabs the back of his legs and lifts him up before throwing him down with a stiff spinebuster. Show then goes for the cover on Striker.

Striker kicks out to a pop from the crowd. Show helps up Striker before hitting a neckbreaker on him. Show then is there with mounted punches on Striker until Striker rolls through with his own punches and a crowd pop. Show uses his strength to pick up Striker and whip him into the ropes but Striker comes back with a clothesline that sends the crowd going crazy! Striker then taunts Show. Show swings with a right hand but it is blocked by Striker who then uses the advantage to hit Show with a suplex! Show goes down but Striker pops straight back up. Striker brings Show up to his feet. Striker then locks in the front face lock on Show and nails him with the ‘Deep Impact’!

Striker throws his hands up in the air in victory. Surely the one belt that has eluded Striker for his wrestling career is next, the DW World Title.

DW World Title Match – Chris Cage Vs. Challenger
The lights in the arena go out and there is silence for about 3 seconds. Then Pyro’s go off up the ramp way as “Tear Away” by Drowning Pool hits and the fans boo the arrival of DW Owner Jon Storm holding the DW World Title belt. Storm appears from behind the curtain and poses on the stage for a few seconds with the World Title soaking up the boos from the crowd. Jon Storm then slowly makes his way down the ramp towards the ring Storm walks right around the ring looking around the arena as he goes. Storm then climbs up to the ring apron before climbing up the turnbuckle standing on the second rope looking down on the crowd holding up the World Title for all to see. Storm then calls for a microphone.
Storm: Well as many of you know Havoc will not be here to defend his World Title belt against Chris Cage tonight.
The crowd boo.
Storm: So I guess I am going to have to award this belt to ‘The Enigma’ Chris Cage!
“I disappear” hits the P.A system as the crowd erupts. Chris Cage steps through the curtains to a standing ovation from the crowd. He is wearing his usual ring attire, black long leather pants, and black boots. He starts making his way to the ring as pyros starts shooting up the ramp. He slides into the ring.
Cage: I am flattered that you want to just award me the belt.
Cage smiles at Storm.
Cage: But that’s not the way that I want to win this. So if any of you guys in the back want a shot, come and get one now.
“Go Away” by Snoop Dogg plays as the lights start a strobe effect of crimson, bronze and gold. The entrance way fills with smoke as Malcolm King slowly emerges from the smoke and makes his way to the ring. Once at the ring he does a taunt on the ring apron, before entering the ring and staring down his opponent with his hands crossed awaiting the bell.
Storm takes the belt and goes to sit at the announcer’s table when the lights in the arena fade to black as “Supernova goes pop” by PM5K hits. The bell rings for the match to start and Boswell and King tie up from the start. Boswell forces King back into a corner but King uses his power to fight back out of the corner and push Boswell back into the middle of the ring as Cage watches on. King then lowers his head, which sends Boswell onto his shoulders and King then nails him with a Samoan drop. The fans cheer the move but then pop big time as Cage runs up and executes a swinging neckbreaker on the former EDW Universal Champion King. Cage then picks King back up and throws him back into the ropes. King ducks a clothesline from Cage but gets hit by a drop toehold from Boswell.
Cage grabs Boswell by the waist and nails him with a big back suplex that sends Boswell down on his neck. Cage then goes to lock on his ‘Sharpshooter’ finishing move but King comes into stop the move with a clothesline to the back of Cage’s head. Boswell gets back to his feet and King grabs him by the head and takes him over with a great suplex before helping him back up to his feet. King then nails a huge ‘bookend’ on Boswell before climbing to the top rope. King dives off of the top rope with a lovely diving head butt to Boswell before going for the cover.

Chris Cage breaks up the cover and picks up King. Cage flips off King and spinebusters him before locking in the sharpshooter! As King squirms under the pressure, Boswell rolls to the outside before reaching under the ring apron. Boswell pulls out a sledgehammer and slides it right across the ring before rolling in himself. Boswell walks straight up to Cage and gives him the ‘Ground Zero’ whilst he has the Sharpshooter locked on! Boswell then covers Cage.

King breaks up the cover. King then pulls Boswell across to the turnbuckle and sets him up for the ‘Black Reign’. The crowd pop as King nails the move on Boswell but as he goes for the cover Jon Storm jumps up from his position at the announcers table and reaches into the ring for the sledgehammer, as King looks over to see what Strom is doing, he nails him in the side of the head with the weapon. King is staggered and he turns around right into Chris Cage who kicks him in the gut before giving him a Piledriver. Cage then goes for the cover.

New World Champion!!
Winner of the Match and new DW World Champion – Chris Cage by Pinfall
Storm grabs the World Title belt from the announcer’s table and rolls into the ring. The crowd goes silent, fully expecting Cage and Storm to go at it. Instead Strom takes the belt and places it over Cage’s shoulder and the two men shake hands! The crowd can’t believe what they are seeing and start to boo as DW System Failure draws to a close.
