The entrance video package for Uprising begins, accompanied by the theme song of ‘Uprising’ by Artificial Intelligence as highlights of past action from 2013 to present day are sped up, showing the likes of Bobby Dean, Roscoe Shame, Night, Jay Wildman, Cody Williams & Nathan Paradine. As the video package finally comes to an end with an extended look at the ‘Uprising’ logo, the camera cuts to an exterior shot of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, before cutting to a live shot of inside the arena.

The camera pans around the sold-out crowd, most of them on their feet and screaming loudly whilst trying to get their homemade sign shown in front of the camera. The cameras finally head over to the commentary table, where Julian Fiasco and Jeremiah Sloan welcome the fans watching on TV to the broadcast and begin to break down some of the action that will take place on tonight’s show!

Uprising?

After the impressive opening match, the cameras head backstage to the interview area where Katie Smith is standing by, microphone in hand, alongside former sVo Tag Team Champions Blood Money! The fans boo loudly at the sight of Anthony Moretti and Joe Barone, something that makes Moretti smile as he hears the reaction.

Katie Smith: “Anthony, Joe, thanks for joining me here this evening! Tonight on the main event of Uprising you are up against the Starr Brothers who picked up an impressive victory against Son and A Gun on Showdown. What are your thoughts going into this match?”

Anthony Moretti: “Impressive victory? Is there anyone on the roster that hasn’t beaten Gunner Lang and his kid yet? Madone!”

Barone remains expressionless as he stands behind Moretti with his arms folded.

Anthony Moretti: “Unfortunately the Starr Brothers are in for one hell of a beating tonight, because me and the big man are pissed!”

Barone continues to stare at Katie Smith with a blank expression on his face, as the interviewer looks confused.

Katie Smith: “Erm, what is upsetting you guys?”

Moretti looks agitated, looking at Smith as if he can’t believe she doesn’t already know.

Anthony Moretti: “You know who me and the big man are Katie? We are the best damn tag team in the business right now and we are getting booked on Uprising? Fucking Uprising?”

Moretti shakes his head in disgust as the fans boo loudly.

Anthony Moretti: “Page has really gone too far this time, and that’s gonna be a real shame for the Starr Brothers…. capeesh?”

Moretti motions to Barone to follow him, before walking away from the interview area and leaving Katie Smith alone as the scene fades out.

As Scott Washington & Amy Page celebrate the big victory in the middle of the ring, the camera cuts to the backstage area where Jacob Izaz is standing by with Katie Smith in the interview area. The fans cheer for the sight of the ‘Philly Flash’ as he flashes his white teeth to the camera upon hearing the reaction.

Katie Smith: “Jacob! Thanks for joining me ahead of your big match tonight. Now you had a great week last week when you defeated Junior Gambino on Showdown, that must have felt good?”

Jacob Izaz: “Honestly Katie, I needed that! I been on a bad run ever since not being able to get that Las Vegas Championship belt, but getting so close and falling short has only made me more hungry to get back to that level again and claim that belt as my own! Hitting ‘the Message’ on Gambino on Showdown and getting that three count felt great, and I hope it reminded the rest of the sVo just what I am all about!”

More cheers from the fans watching on the giant screen.

Katie Smith: “Well tonight you have a very different challenge as you face Cherry Bordeaux one on one. What do you know of your opponent tonight?”

Jacob Izaz: “From what I have seen of Cherry, I know that I would rather take her out on a date than face her in the ring tonight…..”

There is a cheer from the male members of the crowd, but as Izaz soaks it in and Katie Smith rolls her eyes, Cherry Bordeaux steps into the camera shot from just off screen and wipes the grin off of Jacob Izaz’s face with a vicious slap before walking away with authority.

Katie Smith: “You deserved that….”

Jacob Izaz: “Well I guess a date is out of the question, so the three count will have to do.

Izaz feels his jaw in pain as the scene fades out.
