sVo Uprising #011
Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
26th February 2022

The entrance video package for Uprising begins, accompanied by the theme song of ‘Uprising’ by Artificial Intelligence as highlights of past action from 2013 to present day are sped up, showing the likes of Bobby Dean, Roscoe Shame, Night, Jay Wildman, Cody Williams & Nathan Paradine. As the video package finally comes to an end with an extended look at the ‘Uprising’ logo, the camera cuts to an exterior shot of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, before cutting to a live shot of inside the arena.

The camera pans around the sold-out crowd, most of them on their feet and screaming loudly whilst trying to get their homemade sign shown in front of the camera. The cameras finally head over to the commentary table, where Julian Fiasco and Jeremiah Sloan welcome the fans watching on TV to the broadcast and begin to break down some of the action that will take place on tonight’s show!

Ultimate Elimination

The cameras head backstage to the office of Jon Page, where the sVo Owner is sitting behind his desk across from the current sVo Roulette Champion, August ‘Big Aug’ Lazar! The fans pop loudly at the sight of Lazar, as he sits with the gold draped over his shoulder whilst wearing a ‘Big Aug = Big Trouble’ t-shirt.

August Lazar: “Mister Page. Tomorrow is the big Countdown to Violence PPV with lots of big matches, but no Big Aug? What gives?”

Page smirks as he slowly shakes his head.

Jon Page: “Aug? Do you really think we would have such a big event without a Roulette Championship match… without Big Aug?”

Lazar looks at Page for a few seconds before excitedly shaking his head.

Jon Page: “Damn right we wouldn’t! Now tonight’s main event will see the first ever ‘Ultimate Elimination’ match, where eight men will compete to earn the rights to challenge you for the belt tomorrow night on PPV!”

August Lazar: “Ultimate Elimination?”

Jon Page: “That’s right, anyone out there can be eliminated by pinfall, submission or by being thrown out of the ring over the top rope! Anyone who can outlast the other seven will be a worthy challenger for you on PPV tomorrow night. The only question is can you keep ahold of that?”

Page points at the belt on Lazar’s shoulder, and Lazar rises up to his feet and holds the belt out in front of him.

August Lazar: “Oh trust me Mister Page, whoever wins that match tonight is going to be in big trouble!”

The camera zooms in on the Roulette Championship before the scene fades out.

Backstage
Knight Takes Pawn

The camera heads backstage where ‘the Dark Horse’ Curtis Knight is standing by in the interview area with Katie Smith! Smith has a microphone in hand, but the Dark Horse towers over her as the interview tries to ask the questions.

Katie Smith: “Curtis, things didn’t go to plan last time on PPV when you took on Anthony Moretti in singles action. How do you see things going against Money Malone tomorrow at Countdown to Violence.”

Knight looks serious as he thinks back to his match up against Moretti before answering the question.

Curtis Knight: “It was Anthony Moretti that dragged me back to the sVo because of what he put my wife through, and it is Anthony Moretti who I am gunning for. Make no mistake about it, when I look across the ring tomorrow night it won’t be Money Malone that I am seeing in my mind, it will be Anthony Moretti!”

The crowd cheer as Knight stares down the lens of the camera to make his point.

Curtis Knight: “Malone is just a Blood Money pawn that I need to get another shot at Moretti… and this time I am going to take out the rest of Blood Money before hand so that it will be one on one.”

Katie Smith: “Well despite the Von Drake’s seemingly being ejected from Blood Money last week on Showdown, they do still have Joe Barone, Anthony Moretti & Johnny Moretti in the group. What do you think the chances of things staying one on one will be?”

Curtis Knight: “We will see Katie, we all know that Malone can’t beat me one on one…. So I guess we will see how valued he is by his Blood Money team mates tomorrow night!”

Katie Smith: “Well Curtis, thanks for joining me tonight and good luck tomorrow night!”

Knight nods to Smith before exiting stage left, as the scene fades out.

Submit!

‘Welcome To Toronto’ by K Money hits the sound system, and there are loud boos from the crowd as onto the top of the entrance ramp steps Alissia Young of the Canadian Connection! Young poses at the top of the entrance ramp, before slowly walking down the entrance ramp and climbing into the ring. Young signals for her music to be cut, as she motions to Natasha Ortiz. Ortiz, the ring announcer, passes Young a microphone and a bag from the ringside area.

Alissia Young: “Last week Athena stole a win against me!”

The crowd boo loudly, remembering things very differently with Athena picking up the clean win over Young to end her undefeated record on Showdown.

Alissia Young: “If that wasn’t enough, she had the nerve to say that she won’t give me a re-match unless there is something in it for her!”

Young shakes her head in anger.

Alissia Young: “Athena, you know I am better than you… You know I can beat you…. Get out here and give me a re-match!”

Young stares back at the entrance ramp for a few seconds, before ‘There And Back’ by Daughtry hits the sound system and Athena walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp with a microphone in hand! Athena acknowledges the cheering fans, but doesn’t look impressed with Alissia Young in the ring.

Athena: “Alissia, what is this all about? You couldn’t hang with me last week on Showdown…. Why am I going to waste my time beating you again tomorrow night at the PPV?”

Young looks angry at Athena, but quickly pulls a championship belt out of the bag she is holding and holds it in the air for all to see. The crowd pop as they recognize the gold.

Alissia Young: “You see this Athena? This is the sVo TapOut Championship! Held by the likes of Sam Amos, Nightmare, Cody Williams, Nathan Paradine…. Sara Pettis! A championship that meant you had to make the champion submit to get your hands on it! If you really think that you can beat me one on one, then how about we put this on the line tomorrow night in a submission match and see who really the best is around here!”

The fans cheer loudly, and Athena looks interested as she looks up at the gold in Young’s hand, before slowly nodding her head.

Athena: “Ok Alissia you have got my interest….. You are on! Making you tap and shutting your mouth for good will almost be as sweet as getting my hands on that belt!”

Young holds the previously retired belt in the air as both ladies stare each other down from across the arena!

Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas NV

Ringside
It’s time for the Main Event!

The arena goes pitch black as the opening guitar riff from “Abominator” by Doyle plays. Smoke billows up from the bottom of the staging area, as green laser lights dance across the stage. Just as the opening riff comes to a close, two large hits of a drum can be heard, and pyro goes off syncing with them. The song dives in, as Vorheez makes his appearance at the top of the ramp. Wearing a long black, sleeveless coat, that has green stitching and it covered in small spikes, as well as a black, beat up, cowboy hat covering his eyes. Vorheez marches slowly down to the ring, his eyes fixated on the ring, looking determined, and focused. As Vorheez climbs onto the ring apron and climbs inside the ring, the lights slowly come up and the music fades.

The fans in the arena cheer loudly as William Vorheez stands tall in the middle of the ring and is handed a microphone by Natasha Ortiz. Vorheez waits for the cheers to slowly fade out before addressing the fans!

William Vorheez: “Now I am not one for talking, I prefer to make my actions speak louder than my words…. But we are only 24 hours from me finally getting my hands on Johnny All Star!”

The fans cheer loudly in anticipation for tomorrow night’s PPV main event.

William Vorheez: “It’s been six months since Ultimate Victory, when All Star screwed me out of my title with the help of Blood Money and there little light show! Back then I went it alone and I thought it was going to be one on one seeing who the best man was. This time I am not so naive….”

‘Viva Las Vegas’ by Metal Elvis hits the sound system and the fans boo loudly, as the sVo Champion Johnny Moretti steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp with the belt strapped around his waist. The sVo Champion however is not alone, as he is flanked by Anthony Moretti, Joe Barone and Money Malone! The fans boo even louder as All Star unstraps the belt from his waist and holds it in the air for all to see.

William Vorheez: “Here we are right on cue!”

Johnny ‘All Star’ Moretti: “Seriously old man? Who are you to talk about screw jobs? You don’t remember back in 2013 I guess? In my book Ultimate Victory was just settling the score!”

All Star laughs loudly as the fans boo.

William Vorheez: “Right, Right. Well then I guess we are one each then in your book…. How about tomorrow night we actually see who is the best with no outside interference, unless you haven’t got the balls?”

All Star looks furious as the crowd cheer loudly, whilst the rest of Blood Money try and calm him down.

Johnny All Star: “Are you serious? I can beat you with no help at all! I have proved it time and time again! Tomorrow night I will go it alone and I will be walking out still the sVo Champion!”

All Star holds the belt in the air as he stares down the #1 contender, but the rest of Blood Money don’t look too happy about All Star declaring that he will go it alone!
