After PWA intro, the entrance video package for sVo Sunday Night Showdown begins, accompanied by the theme song of ‘Showdown’ by Pendulum. Highlights of past action from 2013 to present day are sped up, showing the likes of August Lazar, Bobby Dean, Roscoe Shame, Night, Jay Wildman, Cody Williams & Nathan Paradine! As the video package finally comes to an end with an extended look at the ‘Sunday Night Showdown’ logo, the camera cuts to an exterior shot of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, before cutting to a live shot of inside the arena.

The camera pans around the sold-out crowd, most of them on their feet and screaming loudly whilst trying to get their homemade sign shown in front of the camera. The cameras finally head over to the commentary table, where Julian Fiasco and Jeremiah Sloan welcome the fans watching on the HOTv network on PWA:TV to the broadcast and begin to break down some of the action that will take place on tonight’s show, including a massive main event with Kenneth D Williams hot off his PPV victory taking on the legendary Night!

RINGSIDE
Under New Management

Showdown kicks off with cheers from the fans, as sVo Owner Jon Page slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp to kick off the show, just as he did with P:V Uprising last week! Page is as always dressed in a dark suit, but this time is holding an sVo branded microphone as he climbs into the ring and acknowledges the crowd! The fans cheer loudly for Page, as he waits for the reaction to subside.

Jon Page: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Sunday Night Showdown!!”

Pop from the crowd.

Jon Page: “Now I stood out here at this very time last week in this very business, but I wasn’t standing in an sVo ring, no I was standing in a Project:Violence ring!”

Mixed reaction from the crowd, which Page acknowledges.

Jon Page: “Now that was a big shot of nostalgia for me, and it left me wanting more! I said we weren’t done then and I meant it! The sVo universe is about to get a lot bigger, but for that to happen I need to take a step back from the sVo and make things happen!”

Another mixed reaction from the crowd.

Jon Page: “I will still be here in the background, but while I work on making things happen for the sVo, I need to entrust the running of the sVo to another pair of hands….”

There is a nervous reaction from the fans, which turns to boos as ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ hits the sound system and Amy Page walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp, with Roulette Champion Rick Reid alongside her! Amy Page poses at the top of the entrance ramp, before walking down the ring with Reid, and climbing into the squared circle. Amy Page takes the microphone from her brother, who leaves the ring after exchanging glances with the Roulette Champion.

Amy Page: “That’s right haters, I am here to take sVo and Showdown to new heights!”

Loud boos from the crowd, as Rick Reid stares out members of the crowd.

Amy Page: “I am running things, and luckily I have already done the hard work and scouted the next big thing when it comes to professional wrestling. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for your future sVo Champion, your current Roulette Champion….. Rick Reid!”

The fans boo loudly as Reid holds the Roulette Championship belt up into the air. Reid smirks at the crowd reaction, as Amy Page shakes her head before leading Reid back out of the ring as the scene fades out!

Important Business

The camera heads backstage to the office of Jon Page, where the sVo Owner is packing up the belongings from his desk. However Page is not alone, as in the room with him is the former Las Vegas Champion Gunner Lang!

Gunner Lang: “You wanted to see me boss?”

Page nods his head as he continues to pack.

Jon Page: “That’s right Gunner that’s right. Before I leave for a while, I need you to do me a favour….”

Lang looks at Page curiously.

Gunner Lang: “And that would be?”

Jon Page: “I need you to absolutely destroy Kyle McRae later tonight! I need him to pay for those inter-promotional matches he embarrassed us in!”

Lang shrugs his shoulders.

Gunner Lang: “I mean sure, but Jon, I gotta ask, why don’t you just fire him?”

Page looks at Lang in disbelief.

Jon Page: “Where would be the fun in that?”

There is suddenly a knock at the office door, before in walks JD James! There are boos from the arena for the legendary manager, as Gunner Lang aggressively turns towards his former friend. JD James looks nervously at Jon Page, who tries to cool the tensions.

Jon Page: “That is all please Gunner, I have important business to discuss with Mr James here…..”

Lang looks annoyed at not getting the chance to get his hands on JD James again, as he leaves the office and the scene fades out back to ringside.

The camera heads backstage to the interview pit, where Katie Smith is standing by with a microphone in hand. Alongside Smith is the brand new Las Vegas Champion Dallas Jordan, who is flanked with Travis Armstrong and Lance Abbot. The four are watching the highlights of Jordan’s victory over Jacob Izaz two weeks ago on PPV, where he unified the Las Vegas and TapOut Championships!

Jordan looks pleased as he watches the footage again, pointing out different things to his henchmen.

Dallas Jordan: “I never get tired of watching that, I am sure everyone else at home doesn’t either!”

Jordan laughs to himself as the crowd boo loudly.

Katie Smith: “Well thank you for joining me here tonight guys. Dallas, you pulled off one of the biggest victories of your career at Countdown to Violence to unify the Championships, I assume you are still on cloud nine?”

Dallas Jordan: “Let me correct you there Katie, it is one of the biggest victories of my career so far! Countdown to Violence was just the beginning, I went out there and made America proud by unifying the Las Vegas and TapOut Championships, and here we are with one solitary Championship, the Las Vegas Championship which will now be defended under submission rules!”

The crowd boo loudly towards Jordan as he holds the belt in the air.

Katie Smith: “Well I am sure the fans want to know, who are you looking towards for your first challenger?”

Jordan laughs as he places the belt back on his shoulder.

Dallas Jordan: “You really think there is anyone on the roster that is good enough to step in the ring with me and call themselves a challenger?”

Jordan scoffs and laughs with his henchmen.

Dallas Jordan: “But anyway, we are not here to talk about me and having the best and most important match at Countdown to Violence, we are here to talk about Patriot Act, these two men here!”

Armstrong and Abbot take a step forward as Jordan puts an arm around both men.

Dallas Jordan: “These men here are going to be joining me in making America proud by adding some gold to their collection as well! The road to the tag team championships start here Katie, and it goes right through those god damn Canadians! These boys will be dumping those god damn illegals back over the border tonight, and then claiming the gold for themselves! Let’s go!”

The crowd boo loudly as Jordan leads Armstrong and Abbot away, as the scene fades out.

Family Business

The camera heads backstage to the locker room of Curtis Knight, Athena and Darwin Jones, where Jones is preparing for his upcoming match against former Las Vegas Champion Jacob Izaz! The mood in the locker room is tense after some high profile losses for the family recently, not least against Kenneth D Williams at the Countdown to Violence PPV two weeks ago.

Athena: “Right boys, I have had enough of losing every week. It has to change, TONIGHT!”

Darwin Jones looks pumped up, as he flexes his biceps in the mirror.

Darwin Jones: “Oh it will be changing tonight sister, I will make Jacob Izaz a two time loser and get us back on track!”

Knight stays silent as he sits on the sofa watching his wife and brother in law, before finally speaking up.

Curtis Knight: “I didn’t come back for this, I didn’t leave me quiet life behind for this. No more of this…..”

Before Athena or Darwin Jones get the chance to ask Knight what he means, the door suddenly swings open and in walks JD James. Athena and Darwin Jones turn angrily towards James, there former Horizon leader, but Knight calms them both down.

Curtis Knight: “Darwin, get out there and do your thing. Me and JD have some business to discuss, we will fill you in afterwards….”

Jones doesn’t look too thrilled about being shooed away, but has little choice with his match up next, as the scene fades out!

Seizing the Opportunity

With only moments to go until the massive main event, the camera heads backstage to the interview area one last time, where Katie Smith is standing by with Kenneth D Williams! The fans cheer loudly for the former Las Vegas Champion as Smith begins the questioning.

Katie Smith: “Kenny, thanks for joining me ahead of such a big match! Now you had a massive win at Countdown to Violence, does that finally put things to bed between you and Curtis, Darwin & Athena?”

Kenneth D Williams: “Those three tried to take my career from me Katie, they tried to take my livelihood and my dreams. Things will never be over between us, but I think I showed once and for all that none of them belong in the ring with me in a one on one battle!”

The fans cheer loudly for Williams, who nods to the camera in acknowledgement.

Katie Smith: “Well with that big win under your belt, tonight you face another big challenge! How do you feel about stepping into the ring with an sVo legend like Night?”

A smile spreads over the face of Williams.

Kenneth D Williams: “This is a cat that I grew up watching Katie. This is someone I idolised and now I get to step in the ring with him! That being said, all that goes out of the window because I know tonight is nothing more than another match that will get me closer to another shot at that sVo Championship belt…. And this time I will get my hands on the gold!”

The fans cheer loudly as Williams leaves the interview area and heads towards the gorilla position, as the scene fades out with the main event next!
