Backstage
Showdown

The scene opens up backstage where we see Johnny All Star walking down the hallway before slowing down. He stops in front of a door that reads: “Jon Page’s Office”. He takes a moment to fix the knot on his tie and then opens the door.

Johnny All Star: “You wanted to see…”

He stops in his tracks and takes a survey of the room. In front of him is Jon Page sitting behind a desk and Cody Williams sat in front of it.

Johnny All Star: “What is going on here? Are you two conspiring against me?”

Jon Page: “Johnny, that’s not what this is.. Please sit down.”

Johnny All Star: “Or are you still trying to duck me?”

“The Hollywood Rockstar” stands up and gets nose to nose with All Star as they stare holes into each other’s eyes.

Cody Williams: “I’m not ducking anyone… And after the stunt you pulled at Uprising, I can’t wait to get my hands on you at Season’s Beatings!”

Jon Page: “Enough…”

Johnny All Star: “Why wait until then? Scared?”

He shoves Cody back a couple of steps.

Jon Page: “Enough…”

Cody responds with a shove of his own that prompts All Star to wind back for a punch. Before he can do so, Page slams his hands on the desk and stands up.

Jon Page: “I SAID ENOUGH! SIT DOWN!”

The two of them separate and sit down in their respective chairs in front of the desk.

Jon Page: “The reason why I called you both in here is because of what happened last week. I can’t afford to have you both at each other’s throats and get injured ahead of your match at Season’s Beatings. In what could, quite frankly, be the biggest pay-per-view main event in sVo history.”

Cody and All Star turn to face each other with snarls on their faces.

Jon Page: “I need to make sure that the two of you make it to Season’s Beatings in one piece. And in order for me to do that, I need to keep an eye on you both. Therefore, tonight, the two of you will be teaming up to face The Canadian Connection. And it will be for the sVo Tag Team Championships.”

The crowd in the Goodfellas Casino Arena erupt. All Star curls his hands into a ball and starts grinding his teeth. He lets out a loud, audible exhale and stands up.

Johnny All Star: “Is that all? Can I go now?”

Jon Page: “You may go.”

He stands up and brushes past Cody, bumping into him on his way to the door.

Jon Page: “Cody, stay behind.”

All Star stops to turn around, and then shakes his head as he slams the door behind him.

Jon Page: “Now I know you have hit the ground running and have been going non-stop since you came back. I appreciate you trying to bring back prestige to the sVo Championship and elevate everyone around you.”

Cody Williams: “I just want to give everyone the chances and opportunities that I wasn’t afforded.”

Jon Page: “And with Season’s Beatings around the corner I know you have your eyes set on All Star… But we have to make good on your defense against Scott Washington.”

Cody nods.

Jon Page: “So next week, you will defend the sVo Championship against Washington at Uprising.”

Cody Williams: “Done. I will be there.”

The two of them stand up and shake hands. Cody grabs the sVo Championship from the desk and slings it over his shoulder.

Cody Williams: “And then next stop… I bring back the violence to sVo and shut All Star up once and for all!”

Fade to black.

The camera heads backstage where Katie Smith is standing by to interview one of the four men left in the sVo Roulette Championship tournament.

Katie Smith: “Hi, everyone! We have four men left in the Roulette Championship Tournament and I have one of those four with me right now… welcome “Big Aug” August Lazar!”

Stepping onto the set, the camera has to pan back a fair amount to capture the giant sVo rookie, “Big Aug” August Lazar. The tallest man on the roster looks down at Katie and nods as he shows off his first sVo shirt, “Big Aug = Big Trouble” written out in gold.

Big Aug: “Katie… hello again!”

Katie Smith: “Hello and thanks for joining us. First off, regarding your sVo Title match against Cody Williams, you put up a great effort against the champion. Even being in the middle of the Roulette Title tournament, what made you take him up on his open challenge?”

Big Aug: “Two things, Katie… the first… I came to sVo wrestlings to make waves. To do big things! Get Big Aug’s name out there. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but you don’t get shit if you don’t try.

Katie Smith: “Very poignant. And the second?”

Big Aug: “That I bet it all on f*****g black and lost at the casino. So I tried to be THE sVo Champion to make the winner’s purse mine.”

Sparse laughter can be heard in the background at Big Aug’s sad attempt at a gamble at the roulette wheel… that he vlogged about and put out for the world to see.

Katie Smith: “Unfortunate.”

Big Aug: “Is okay, I make money back being in main event anyway. Big Aug win again!”

Katie Smith: “Congrats to you on that! So with this Roulette Title tournament underway, there are three men aside from you. One of them you know, Absolute Zero. Nathan Judge, and Hiro Ryuu. Do you have any words for the competition?”

The massive rookie nods.

Big Aug: “Yes…  Absolute Zero? You Absolute Asshole. You mad, bro, you get Dunked On twice by me cause you think I tiny rookie you walk on. If you get in way again, I make it third time! Nathan Judge? I not afraid of any man. If you try funny business with me, you call me August Executioner! And Hiro Ryuu… Big Aug say nothing bad about this guy. He seem okay… but no friends when the title and chance to make history in front of you. Big Aug ready for this and Big Aug come here to create moments, make history, run down competition and make Roulette Title THE title in sVo!”

He beats on his chest as the reaction grows louder.

Big Aug: “I left the NBA cause I make stupid mistake and get banned… but I get second chance at life came with the wrestlings and I damn sure not mess up. If other men think they get past me to win the title… like great man who got paid lot of money to say in funny GEICO ad…”

He smiles.

Big Aug: “Not today.”

Katie Smith: “Thanks for your time, August!”

The Romanian-born wrestler nods and stomps away from the set.

Hughes gets back onto his feet and initiates another tie up. He applies his own headlock and then slips behind the back for a waist lock. Cody tried to escape but it’s locked in right. Hughes pops his hips and goes for a release German suplex but Cody lands on his feet. He rushes towards him and Cody sidesteps and uses his momentum against him, shoving him into the turnbuckles. Cody follows close behind and nails a running drop kick in the corner. As he prepares to Irish whip Hughes, All Star smacks him hard on the back for a tag and motions for him to get out of the ring.

All Star enters the ring and bumps shoulders with Cody as he exits. He runs at Hughes who ducks under and applies a waist lock. He takes him up and over with a German suplex but holds on. He sets up for another, while All Star starts reaching out for Cody who puts his hands up not accepting the tag. Hughes drops him with another suplex, but this time a release German. He pulls All Star over into his corner and tags in Scott Cole.

Ringside
See Ya Champ

The Canadian Connection exiting the ring, clutching their tag team championships as they pass by Johnny All Star who is still at ringside. Cody, still clutching his neck, retrieves a microphone and paces back and forth in the ring.

Cody Williams: “ALL STAR!”

A ringside member hands All Star a microphone as Cody continues to circle around the ring.

Cody Williams: “The time for talking is done! In two weeks time, I will have the distinct pleasure of making Season’s Beatings live up to its name when I inflict pain and suffering like you have never felt before!”

Johnny All Star: “Oh, is that right?”

Cody Williams: “Yeah, that’s right!”

Johnny All Star: “Well, with everyone here as my witness, I promise you that I will make you wish you never came back in the first place!”

Cody Williams: “Why wait until the pay per view? Get your ass in here and let’s do this right here, right now!”

The crowd erupts as Cody drops the microphone to the mat. All Star lets out a chuckle and shakes his head.

Johnny All Star: “You would like that wouldn’t you? Well too bad, because I don’t have to listen to you or any of these stupid fans!”

All Star starts to turn around to head to the back as the Goodfellas Casino Arena drowns him in boos. He stops in his tracks and turns his head back towards the ring.

Johnny All Star: “If I were you, just like last week at Uprising, I would watch my back. You never know what might hit you.”

***THWACK***

JVD sneaks up from behind and hits Cody in the back with a steel folding chair. The rest of Blood Money is with him as they start stomping at Cody’s fallen body. All Star can be seen chuckling as he starts circling the outside of the ring. Cody stumbles onto his feet and walks right into Joe Barone who grabs him by the neck, lifts him up — ONE HANDED STALLING CHOKESLAM!

They continue to rain down punches, hammer fists, and boots to Cody until he rolls out of the ring and lands on the outside area. He starts to crawl, trying to get out of harms way but the attack continues. Barone clears off the announce desk and pushes away the commentators as Anthony Moretti, Money Malone, and JVD keep him grounded. The three of them lift him up and drop him through the table, it exploding and scattering across ringside — TRIPLE POWERBOMB!

All Star makes his way to where the carnage is going on and laughs as he slow claps. He gives a nod of approval and kneels down while his men hold Cody up by the arms and hair.

Johnny All Star: “And in case you were wondering what my stipulation for Season’s Beatings was… When I beat you for the sVo Championship… You have to leave the sVo…”

He pauses.

Johnny All Star: “FOREVER!”

Blood Money picks Cody up onto his feet as All Star stands up with him, tossing the microphone to the ground. He kicks him in the gut and drops him throat first across the top of his shoulder — ALL STAR STUNNER!

Johnny All Star: “See you at Season’s Beatings!…”

He spits down at him.

Johnny All Star: “CHAMP!”

We go off the air with Johnny All Star standing tall with his arm raised and Blood Money standing behind him.
