sVo Showdown Episode #059
24th October 2010
HSBC Arena, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

“Natural High” by The Union Underground hits the sound system as the sVo Showdown entrance video hits the screens of TV’s all over the world! The video featuring the likes of sVo Champion Roscoe Shame, Night, Bobby Dean and Grimnir shows some of the best action to have ever taken place on the flagship show of the Sanctioned Violence Organization.

As the video comes to an end, the camera cuts to the arena and pans around the sold out crowd as pyro’s shoot up from the entrance stage whilst the theme music continues to blast out over the sound system. The camera picks out several signs in the crowd as the fireworks continue to explode around the ringside area.

The camera then pans across to the entrance stage, where a video recap of last weeks action is shown on the giant Violence-Tron before tonight’s action gets under-way.

LAST WEEK ON SHOWDOWN #59Despite being suspended from action for using the ‘Shame Time’ move weeks before, World Heavyweight Champion Roscoe Shame bought a ticket at ringside, before getting some revenge on the #1 contender to his title, former best friend, Bobby Dean…..

The fans boo Bobby Dean as he slowly rises up to his feet and taunts to the crowd, before ignoring the requests from the referee and rolling to the outside of the ring! The Teacher slowly begins to stagger back up to a standing position on the outside of the ring, but as he does Bobby Dean grabs him by the back of the head before tossing him hard into the steel steps! The Teacher holds his face in pain, as Bobby Dean struts around the outside of the ring, and then begins to taunt Roscoe Shame who is still sitting in the front row! The fans loudly boo the actions of Bobby Dean, and Roscoe Shame looks to be fuming in the front row!

Bobby Dean continues to taunt Roscoe Shame as he pulls The Teacher up from the floor, and slams him head first into the security barrier! With The Teacher down and hurting on the outside, Bobby Dean taunts for his finishing move ‘the Starstruck’! However before he can hit it the fans pop as Roscoe Shame climbs over the security barrier and takes down Bobby Dean with a big clothesline! The suspended Roscoe Shame lays into Bobby Dean with big stomps on the outside of the ring as the referee calls for the bell to be rung! Roscoe Shame grabs hold of Bobby Dean and tosses him into the ring as security rushes down the entrance ramp to restrain the suspended sVo World Heavyweight Champion! The security guards pulls Roscoe Shame away much to the boos of the sVo fans, but as they do The Teacher slowly rises to his feet on the outside of the ring!RINGSIDE

LET THE FUN BEGIN“Drop Tha World” by Lil Wayne hits the sound system and Roscoe Shame appears at the top of the ramp. He hoists the World Title in the air, causing the fans to erupt. Placing the belt over his shoulder, Roscoe makes his way to the ring. Once in the ring, he grabs a mic from the ring announcer. He raises the title in the air one more time to please the crowd. As they settle down the title goes back over his shoulder and its down to business.

“So Matt Anderson and the rest of The Company had the audacity to ban the World Champion from Showdown last week! Little did they know, I had a plan up my sleeve and it worked beautifully. I made it inside the arena and was able to get my hands on Bobby Dean.”

The fans cheer.

“With that being said, The Company has this brilliant plan to put me in a match this week against a mystery opponent with the stipulation being that I have to win in order to have my suspension lifted. If I lose then I won’t be able to wrestle at Roll The Dice and therefore Bobby Dean automically becomes champion……well fuck that! There is no way in hell I am losing tonight! I don’t give a flying fuck who my opponent is tonight, I am will walk out of here the winner and will meet Bobby Dean next week at Roll The Dice.”

The fans start to chant Shame Time.

“So Bobby be prepared to wrestle at Roll The Dice and you better bring your A game because I am looking to break your neck. And with that said, I am also out here tonight to put Matt Anderson and The Company as a whole on notice. You can try and do everything in your power to hold me down, but I promise you it won’t work!! I will reek havoc on The Company and you in particular Anderson. Roscoe Shame is on a warpath to destroy The Company.”

Once again the fans erupt in cheers.

“Let the fun begin!!!!”

Roscoe drops the microphone in the middle of the ring as “Drop Tha World” plays again.BACKSTAGE

LOOKING FOR GOLDThe scene heads backstage on the last Sunday Night Showdown of the sVo World Tour 2010, and the last show before Sunday’s Roll the Dice 2010 PPV. Candi Cross, sVo’s lead interviewer is standing in front of a black curtain. She is wearing a sexy red dress. The cameraman tells her that they are ready to start filming.

Candi: Hello sVo fans I’m Candi Cross and my guest at this time is a newcomer to the sVo, ladies and gentlemen, the new SVO Tapout Champion, Samuel Amos.

Samuel comes in and stands next to Candi.

Candi: Samuel, congratulations on your title win. How do you feel about having to defend your title 24/7?

Samuel snatches the microphone from Candi.

Samuel: Hit the bricks.

Candi goes off.

Samuel: Now, for those who don’t know me, let me re-introduce myself. My name is Samuel Amos otherwise known as THE SVO TAPOUT CHAMPION! This is my first title in the sVo. I want this to be a long title reign for me. You see…

Raven: Long title reign?

Samuel turns around quickly and swings at Raven with a haymaker which Raven blocks taking Samuel down with an arm bar submission!

Amos screams out in pain as the fujiwar armbar is applied deeply and Raven is pulling back on Amos’ shoulder. Amos gets up to his knees and rolls forward, escaping the submission. As the two stand up, Amos kicks Raven in the gut and smashes Raven in the face with the Tapout Championship Belt!

Holding his shoulder and arm in pain, he leans down to a fallen Raven, screaming in Ravens face.

Amos: “What part of Long Title reign didn’t you understand?!”

Raven begins to stand up, so Amos turns and runs away as fast as he can.BACKSTAGE

NEW GUYS STICK TOGETHER….The video opens up as we see new SVO superstar Dave Steel walking up to a locker room holding a long box in his hands. The box is cardboard and black, and appears to have a bit of weight to it. Dave Steel knocks on the door and waits for the man inside to answer. The door opens and Chezina stands there looking none too pleased that his opponent for tonight is standing on the other side of the door. Dave gives Chezina the box and Chezina hesitates a moment before taking it.

“Open it up. I thought I’d get you a little gift, you know, kinda like a welcome present or something. Since we’re both new blood around here, I just wanted to show ya that there’s no hard feelings and all and that we gotta watch out for each other here. There’s some damn sharks out there and us being rookies and all, we gotta watch our ranks.”

Chezina seems to somewhat agree. He pulls the lid off of the box and pushes the white tissue paper aside to reveal a small little league sized wooden bat. Chezina picks it up in one hand and looks at the bat while he drops the box behind him.

“You see homie, that’s the right size and weight. You can whip that sucker around and take out a few teeth if anybody tries to creep up on ya. It’s real handy and packs more punch than a flap jack. Shit’s hard as nails too… it’s made out of Canadian maple.”

Chezina looks more and more at ease as he inspects the bat further admiring it.

“Yeah lemme show ya something real quick.”

Dave Steel reaches out for the bat and borrows it for a second or two showing Chezina how smooth and quickly he can swing the bat.

“Get out here and show me your shit… I know you think you can do better than me… so get your cracker ass out here and show me how it’s done!”

Chezina smirks as he walks out of the locker room and into the hallway towards Dave Steel. Dave Steel holds the bat out in one hand with the handle facing Chezina. As Chezina goes to grab the handle, Dave Steel flips his grip and smacks Chezina in the chin with the barrel of the bat.

“See how quick you can to that shit?”

Chezina looks a little shocked that Dave Steel just tapped him with the bat.

“Don’t get all pissy… I’m just playin around.”

Chezina looks a little annoyed but reaches for the bat again and this time Dave Steel wallops him across the side of the head with the bat. Dave Steel but-ends Chezina in the stomach and then brings the bat down across the back of his neck. Chezina drops to all fours.

“Neat little weapon isn’t it Chezina. Lightning quick in the right hands and good for bustin up fools. I heard you were talkin shit about me off camera and that you didn’t have the balls to say much in front of a camera. So since you wanna act like a little bitch and all, I thought I’d come and treat you like one.”

Dave Steel steps over Chezina’s back and applies a seated camel clutch using the ball bat for added leverage across the throat. Dave Steel maintains the hold until Chezina goes limp and no longer struggles. Dave Steel kicks Chezina over so that he is lying on his back. Hard Rock Dave Steel pulls a bottle of baby powder out of his pocket on the leg of his pants. He begins to shake the powder out of the container and on to his right hand. With the palm of his right hand covered, Dave Steel leans over Chezina.

“Au Revoir bitch tits.”

Dave Steel winds up and slaps Chezina right across the face with a loud smack. Dave wipes the remaining powder off of his hand onto Chezina’s shirt. The camera focuses in on Chezina’s face as a distinctive white handprint can be seen overtop the reddening flesh underneath as the scene fades out and we are now taken live inside the arena.BACKSTAGE

LET THE FUN BEGIN PT.IIRoscoe Shame finds himself standing in Mr. Anderson’s office across from the stern visage of Mr. Anderson who remains seated behind his desk. His agent Jeremiah Sloan standing behind him and his nemis standing across the room leaning up against the far wall with his arms crossed over his chest and a look of utter arrogance on his face.

Mr. Anderson: As you all know, Roscoe, you are set to face a Mystery Opponent tonight and I figured, why wait until the end of the night to fill you in?

Roscoe and Jeremiah share a look, Roscoe looking a bit skeptical, Jeremiah looking confident in his client. Bobby meanwhile continues to look on with that smirk of his, as if saying “I know something you don’t know.”

Mr. Anderson: Consulting my friend, Bobby here, I’ve decided tonight you, Roscoe Shame, will be facing a man coming out of retirement, a man known to the world as “Ice” but known to you and I as Jeremiah Sloan…

With the mention of the name Ice, Jeremiah’s jaw drops! Roscoe looks back to Sloan with his own look of shock, but that shock is quickly replaced with burning hatred as he turns to the mastermind behind it all, Bobby Dean, who simply continues to smile back.

Mr. Anderson: Oh and before the two of you try to weasel the fans out of a great match, if either of you even thinks of throwing this match I will have you both fired from the sVo! Now get out of here.

Roscoe Shame refuses to leave, simply staring at Bobby Dean with hate in his eyes as Jeremiah Sloan continues to stand there in a daze.PRE-RECORDED

BE APART OF THE PERFECT LIFEA commercial begins with a black screen, containing the words, “The following message has been paid for by the State of Minnesota in conjunction with the C.R.I.P.P.L.E.R.”

The words fade out as they are replaced by the image of Canadian Crippler, seated at a desk inside his Minneapolis Mansion, dressed in a dark grey suit jacket and blue dress shirt. He addresses the camera in a calm, but strong voice as calming music plays in the background.

Crippler: Hello Sanctioned Violence Organization fans. You know me as the Canadian Crippler. You know that I am a world-renowned athlete and am part of the next sVo Tag Team Champions The Canadian Connection. What you may not know, however, is that this country is in a state of utter peril.

While Crippler talks, various scenes play: an automobile assembly line coming to a halt… a freshly laid-off worker walking to his car, trying to hold back tears… a family gathered around a Christmas tree with no presents underneath.

Crippler: Jobs are being lost. Families are being destroyed. The economy is in complete distress. What is one to do in these difficult times? Being perfect, I asked myself this very question and realized that there is help out there! Revitalizing your work… overcoming your failures… clutching back onto the bitter fibres of life that were unfairly stolen from you… these gifts and more can be had by following my example. The Canadian Crippler has already renewed communities in his home state of Minnesota thanks to the time and donations of a proud and determined group of people that I am proud to call my fans. Listen to just one of my thousands of neighbours who have seen a glimpse of the Perfect Life…

The scene cuts to a picture of an overweight, brunette Minnesotan woman in her early 40s, frowning as she pulls more bills out of her home mailbox.

Woman’s voice: My family had so many problems…we just couldn’t keep up with it all!

The picture fades to reveal the woman talking on-camera, smiling, although she is now curiously 30lbs lighter, has blonde hair and a tan, and is no longer wearing glasses.

Woman: But then Mr. Crippler came and visited us and told us all about how life could be with his help… it was like the clouds parted! I donate every week to the C.R.I.P.P.L.E.R. fund now and can’t wait to see all the great things he will do for the rest of the country!

The scene fades back to Crippler.

Crippler: That same joy, that same energy can be yours, too, simply by being a believer in the Perfect Life. Please make a donation today to help the Canadian Crippler be a saviour for our entire nation…and beyond.

He gives the classic Canadian Crippler smirk toward the camera.

Crippler: Trust me… it’s going to be perfect.

The scene fades out to another black screen, giving the address to which donations can be sent. The music concludes as the commercial comes to an end and the action returns to Showdown.BACKSTAGE

STAND UP FOR THE sVoShowdown heads backstage to the interview area where sVo manager and Company member Matt “Anarchy” Anderson is standing by with sVo interviewer Katie Smith. Anderson is dressed as always in a smart business suit with his black wrap-a-round shades shielding his eyes. Katie Smith looks up to the former DW World Champion as she asks the questions.

Katie Smith: “Last week we saw the crowning of the first ever sVo Tapout Champion in Samuel Amos, when he won the invitational to capture the belt. This week we have a fourteen man, over the top rope, battle royal booked for tonight with a ‘golden contract’ up for grabs. Just what does the golden contract entail?”

Matt Anderson: “I have heard people moaning for the past few weeks that they haven’t been given a fair crack of the whip here in the sVo. The fact of the matter is that you are not going to get things handed to you on a silver platter here like you might elsewhere, if you want something then you have to step up and earn it. Last week Samuel Amos earned himself the sVo Tapout Title by winning the invitational. This week one of the lucky superstars in that battle royal will earn the right to fight in a match of there choosing at the sVo Roll the Dice 2010 PPV next week!”

Katie Smith: “So the winner could enter themselves into the World Championship match if they so wished?”

Matt Anderson: “That is exactly what they could do, only that would be a waste of time, because Bobby Dean is going to bring home the gold for the Company next Sunday night after that traitor Roscoe Shame…. if he get’s past his special opponent here tonight!”

Katie Smith: “Well Roscoe Shame did reveal earlier that he was being forced to fight in tonight’s main event, and he would have to win the match in order to get his suspension lifted and therefore avoid losing the World Heavyweight Championship by default to BBD. But just who will his opponent be tonight?”

The boss begins to sport a broad smile as he snickers at the question.

Matt Anderson: “This Bobby Dean/Roscoe Shame is bringing in big ratings so far Katie. It’s not because Bobby Dean is the best wrestler on the face of the planet right now, and it’s not even because the people can’t wait to see him crowned champion. It’s because of the emotions involved. These men used to be best friends until Roscoe Shame turned his back on the Company…”

Katie Smith: “If I remember rightly it was mainly Bobby Dean who caused the break up of the friendship, by challenging Roscoe Shame for his International Championship at Ultimate Victory II?” The boss waves away the suggestions of the pretty interviewer.

Matt Anderson: “Nonsense. We put that World Heavyweight Championship strap on Roscoe Shame. It was only because he was part of the Company that he was hand picked to be the next Champion. He could have had it all. He could have been the poster boy of this industry. Yet he wins the World Heavyweight Championship belt and then all of a sudden decides he is too good for the people that put him there.”

Anderson shakes his head in mock disgust as Shame’s actions.

Matt Anderson: “That’s why just to ramp up the emotions involved in this match, Roscoe Shame will have to face off against another friend in tonight’s main event. He will have to face his own manager Jeremiah Sloan, and unless he beats him, he remains suspended!” The fans boo the announcement from the despised manager of the sVo, until the interview is interrupted by an unlikely source, one half of the sVo Tag Team Champions – Joseph Equinox.

Joey Equinox: “Will you please shut the hell up already?”

Anderson stares in disbelief at Equinox for a few seconds, as Katie Smith smiles in amusement behind the back of the boss.

Joey Equinox: “No one cares about your twisted views on the truth, no one cares about you and your desire to hog the spotlight, and no one cares about the god damn Company! The people out there care about one thing, and that’s the s-V-o!”

There are cheers from the fans at ringside who agree with the views of the Tag Team Champion.

Matt Anderson: “I know you missed a huge chunk of action with injury, but maybe you need reminding. The Company owns the sVo, and I run the sVo! I will tell these people what they care about! You would do well to remember who your boss is!”

Anderson stares down Equinox, but there is no backing down from the Tag Team Champion.

Joey Equinox: “I answer to no one but the fans, and the fans of the sVo are sick of the Company. The winds of change are coming Anderson, these fans want someone to stand up for the sVo!”

Equinox stares at Matt Anderson as the scene cuts to ringside.
“This is War” by 30 Seconds to Mars begins to blast over the sound system and Ethan Rider appears from backstage, a jaunty smile on his face. He strides down to the ring, climbing up the steel stairs and stepping between the ropes. He slides off his coat and backs away into the corner to await the start of the match.

Rider stares up the ramp awaiting his opponent, however the crowd exclaims loudly as El Locon appears from underneath the canvas, sliding into the ring behind Rider and knocking him down with an axe handle! The referee calls for the bell, and this match is underway! Rider staggers to his feet, and El Locon lunges forwards initiating a lock up. Rider manages to come out on top, driving his elbow down onto El Locon’s arm before whipping him into the corner, running forwards and driving his shoulder into El Locon’s chest.

Rider backs away as Locon stumbles to the ground before delivering a savage kick to his chest, knocking him back into the corner. Rider grabs the top rope and begins to stomp down on El Locon until the referee orders him to stop, forcing him back into the opposite corner. El Locon climbs to his feet and shakes off the cobwebs, walking back to the middle of the ring and inviting Rider to continue. Rider and El Locon lock up again and Locon unleashes a discus elbow, stunning Rider. Locon follows up with a huge sideslam, covering Rider!

ONE!

TWO!

Kickout!

Rider manages to get his shoulder up and Locon applies a headlock, pulling Rider back onto his knee. Rider screams and struggles, twisting left and right until he manages to slip out of the move. Both men stand up and El Locon eats some vicious right hands from the youngster before blocking a right arm and whipping Rider across the ring, catching him with a powerslam on the return. He drops his elbow down onto Rider several times before hooking his leg.

ONE!

TW-

No, kickout!

Rider again manages to get his shoulder up and El Locon backs away, re-evaluating the situation. Rider uses the ropes to climb to his feet and El Locon charges forwards, looking to clothesline Rider out of the ring. Rider ducks however and El Locon tumbles over the top rope to the outside, managing to maintain his balance on the edge of the ring. Rider suddenly grabs Locon’s head and falls backwards however, hitting a modified guillotine drop that sends Locon richocheting backwards down to ringside. Rider immediately climbs back to his feet and launches himself over the top rope, connecting with El Locon again and sending both men crashing into the guardrail! Rider staggers cautiously to his feet and climbs into the ring as the referee begins the ten count.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

FOUR!

El Locon climbs to his feet and attempts to walk towards the ring…

FIVE!

SIX!

El Locon makes it back into the ring in time! Rider again goes on the offensive, striking out with lefts and rights before dropkicking El Locon into the ropes. He turns around to signal for his finishing move only to suddenly notice Eddie Sinclair running down to the ring from backstage! Sinclair pulls the referees feet out from underneath him, causing him to smash his face into the canvas. Wasting no time Sinclair climbs into the ring and attempts to strike out at Rider, however “The Mockingjay” ducks underneath the swing and connects with a spinning kick to Sinclair’s face, sending the sVo’s Bad Boy tumbling out of the ring! Ethan turns hims attention back to El Locon as he stands up and moves forward, hitting a picture perfect DarkRise on Locon! The referee groggily climbs to his feet and Rider covers!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!!!

“This is War” resumes playing as Rider climbs out of the ring, giving Eddie Sinclair a quick smirk as he makes his way around the ring.

OUTCOME: Ethan Rider defeats El Locon via pinfallRINGSIDE

FAVOUR REPAIDEthan Rider begins to make his way up the entrance ramp towards the backstage area, but Eddie Sinclair quickly pounces to get his revenge, nailing Rider with a punch to the back of the head! The fans boo as Eddie Sinclair continues to punch and kick Ethan Rider as he lays prone on the steel entrance ramp. The boos only seem to be encouraging Eddie Sinclair’s brutal assault, until he slowly pulls Rider up off of the floor and positions him for a pile driver onto the steel!

The fans boo loudly for the move which could potentially break Rider’s neck and end not only any chance of these two meeting at Roll the Dice, but the career of Rider!

However before Sinclair can hit the move, there is a big pop from the crowd as The Teacher runs out down the entrance ramp towards the pair! Sinclair quickly pushes Rider away and high tails it away from the oncoming masked man! The Teacher stares down Eddie Sinclair as he makes his getaway, whilst Ethan Rider stumbles up to his feet. With Rider saving The Teacher last week, and The Teacher repaying the favour this week, is the masked superstar finally warming to Ethan Rider’s plans for tag team domination?BACKSTAGE

JOKESClive English is standing at the front door of Colt Cooper’s home. Colt hasn’t gotten to the arena yet, and Clive has no key. He leans up toward the door. Folding his arms and sucking his teeth.

Clive::”Now he knows he’s suppose to be here going over some tapes. I just cant get that boy to listen.”

A heel tapping the floor is heard, and Clive jumps up wondering who it is.

Clive::”What’s she doing here?”

Clarissa English, his daughter is walking up the halls. She’s smiling as she sees her father standing there.

Clarissa::”Colt’s not here?”

Clive::”No, and I don’t know where he is.”

Clarissa chuckles, bends down and grabs a key from under the doormat.

Clarissa::”He told me to give this to you if he wasn’t here.”

Clive grabs the key, and instead of opening the door he puts the key in his pocket.

Clive::”So you know where he is?”

Clarissa::”Yeah.”

Clive::”Then where is he?”

Trying to keep a straight face, Clarissa burst out in laughter.

Clarissa::{Laughing}”He’s in the house.”

Clive grabs the key from out of his pocket and opens the door. He looks around and sees Colt on his bed laughing his heart out. He stops, and wipes a couple of tears from around his eye.

Colt::”So you ready for me to tell you how I’m going to be Eddie.”

Clive says nothing, but the look on his face could tell you that we was very upset.BACKSTAGE

EXCLUSIVEIn the backstage area, sVo interviewer Tamara Boyd has been granted exclusive access into the V.I.P ‘Company Area’ for an interview with the #1 contender for the sVo World Heavyweight Championship belt, ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Dean. Bobby Dean lays sprawled out on a leather sofa not looking at all ready for any type of match up, with a bottle of Jack Daniels resting on the table in front of him. Bobby Dean keeps winking at Boyd as she shifts uncomfortably in her chair, whilst all around suited ‘Company Agents’ keep an eye on her.

Tamara Boyd: “Earlier this evening Matt Anderson announced that Roscoe Shame will have to compete in a match against Jeremiah Sloan tonight in order to earn his reinstatement back from suspension in order to face you at Roll the Dice. What do you think of this match?”

The womanising BBD looks Tamara Boyd up and down one more time before answering.

Bobby Dean: “As far as I am concerned, this match is completely unfair. I think Anderson was totally out of order for booking it.”

Boyd looks surprised by the response, as to some of the onlooking Company Agents.

Tamara Boyd: “Really? Many thought you were the one behind the match in order to get some revenge on Shame by making him beat up his friend and manager. Many will be surprised to hear that you are worried about Sloan…”

Bobby Dean: “Worried about Sloan? I never said that, I’m worried about Roscoe Shame! I think Sloan might genuinely kick his ass and show him up tonight! Roscoe better watch himself because Sloan is one tough cookie. I think it’s out of order that Shame is going to end up losing, and I am going to end up having to win the World title by default when Roscoe Shame isn’t allowed to step foot in the building next Sunday night at Roll the Dice!”

BBD shows off his trademark smirk to Tamara Boyd who rolls her eyes.

Tamara Boyd: “Well Shame is certainly at a disadvantage with his ‘Shame Time’ finishing move currently on the sVo ‘banned’ list. Do you think that gives you the advantage.”

BBD pretends to feel his neck in pain, remembering what it felt like to be ‘Shame Timed’ out of the ring by the World Heavyweight Champion all those weeks ago.

Bobby Dean: “That move should have been banned long ago! God only knows how that didn’t end my career. Roscoe Shame is supposed to be a role model in his position as Champion, and he goes around trying to injure people like that? I am going to repeat history at Roll the Dice on Sunday, and defeat Roscoe Shame for the sVo Title, just like I defeated him for the International Title at Ultimate Victory II!”

The pretty sVo interviewer looks across at Bobby Dean and the half drunk bottle of JD as the ‘Beautiful’ one makes the comment about being a good role model as Champion.

Tamara Boyd: “Well you have a big match against a submission expert in Nathan Paradine tonight before we even get to Roll the Dice. Just how do you plan on making sure you don’t get injured before the big event?”

BBD freezes as if he has forgot all about taking on the Australian Paradine in singles action here tonight. BBD quickly motions over to the nearest Company agent, before whispering in his ear and waving him away.

Bobby Dean: “I’m afraid there will be no match tonight, because Paradine has had an accident that requires some medical treatment. Now how about me and you get a hotel room and you can have a little fun with a future World Heavyweight Champion.”

Tamara Boyd looks disgusted by Bobby Dean as she gets up from her seat and storms away.

Bobby Dean: “Frigid bitch. I can’t wait until those god damn sVo vixens debut around here!”
Showdown #60 returns from the commercial break with all fourteen members of the roster that are set to take part in tonight’s over the top battle royal already in the ring and ready for the action to get underway! The members of Xtreme Fusion and the Corporation stare across at each other from opposite corners of the ring, whilst the giant Rodriquez brothers stand tall in the middle of the ring, surely the favourites for tonight’s match if they can work together and eliminate the opposition!

The referee calls for the bell to be rung, and the match is quickly underway, with all the superstars tearing forward and hitting everything that moves. JVD and The Teacher quickly begin to trade right hands, whilst DJ and Raven knock down DVD and Limp with big clotheslines. Asesino grabs Juliana Torres and scoop slams her down to the mat, whilst the Rodriquez brothers stand tall in the middle of the ring watching the action! Alex Brooks quickly grabs Luscious by the arm, and tosses the man he defeated last week into the ring ropes. Brooks looks for a back drop on Luscious as he bounces back out of the ropes, however Luscious sees the move coming and blocks Brooks off with a big kick to the face! Luscious grabs hold of Brooks and tries to pull him towards the ropes before lifting him up. Brooks holds onto the ropes desperatly as Luscious tries to eliminate him to get revenge for last week, but as he does JVD grabs him from behind and lifts him up over the top rope!

Luscious falls to the floor and is eliminated from the match, whilst Brooks holds onto the top rope and climbs back into the ring! JVD turns away from eliminating Luscious, but walks straight into the clutches of Nicky Jam Rodriguez who plants him down to the mat with a massive spinebuster! The giant is nailed from behind by The Teacher who fires away on him with right hands. Alex Brooks stumbles up to his feet whilst trying to recover from nearly being eliminated, however the youngster is grabbed around the throat by Chivo and Chezina Rodriquez! The pair lift him into the air before throwing him down to the mat with a massive double team chokeslam!

The two Rodriquez brothers are quickly spun around by the team of DVD and Limp who go to work on the sVo’s newest Tag Team with big right hands. Whilst they do Torres, DJ and Raven take the opportunity to triple team Asesino, take him down to the mat before stomping away on him! JVD slowly rises to his feet, and quickly makes his way towards The Teacher. JVD fires off with big right hands on the Teacher backing him into the corner of the ring, however the Teacher ducks under one of the punches before tossing JVD across the ring with a belly to back suplex. The Teacher slowly rises to his feet and is cheered for the big move, however as he does he eats a dropkick from Alex Brooks which sends him out of the ring over the top rope and eliminates him!

In the corner of the ring The Corporation continue to triple team Asesino, until Chivo and Chezina Rodriquez make there way over and begin to knock down Torres and DJ with big right hands! Asesino and Raven slowly rise to their feet and try to force each other up and over the top rope, until Nicky Jam Rodriquez makes his way up behind the two warring superstars and tosses them both over the top rope to the floor below! In the corner of the ring Dave Steel spears down James Von Drake and begins to hammer away with big right hands on the Victory Cup winner, whilst Alex Brooks tries to eliminate Nicky Jam from behind. Chivo and Chezina Rodriquez continue to beat down on DJ and Juliana Torres in the corner of the ring, before pulling them out and throwing them into the ropes. DJ and Torres both grab hold of the ropes to stop themselves bouncing back, and as Chivo and Chezina Rodriquez run at them, they both pull down the top rope to send the two big man flying over the top and to the outside!

There is a big cheer from the crowd for the Corporation, however as Juliana Torres trash talks the Rodriquez brothers, she is dumped over the top rope from behind by DVD and Limp! DVD and Limp look very pleased with there actions, until DJ runs through both of them with a double clothesline. The match is now down to the last seven superstars as Dave Steel continues to hammer away on James Von Drake, whilst DJ begins to choke out DVD. Nicky Jam slowly rises to his feet, and as he does Limp runs at him. Nicky Jam shows off his amazing strength as he lifts Limp up over his head in a military press style, before tossing him clean over the top rope and to the floor below!

Limp looks outraged, as Alex Brooks tries to take advantage of the situation by attempting to force the giant Nicky Jam over the top rope. It doesn’t look as if Brooks is going to be able to lift the huge superstar up and over, until Dave Steel and DVD quickly rush to help him eliminate the last of the Rodriquez brothers! The union doesn’t last long, as Dave Steel and DVD quickly turn on Alex Brooks and lay into the youngster with big right hands! Dave Steel begins to stomp away on Brooks in the corner of the ring, but DVD is grabbed by DJ, who shoots him into the ropes. DVD grabs hold of the ropes, but DJ follows up with a clothesline which takes DVD over the top rope and to the floor below!

DJ looks pleased with eliminating the final member of Xtreme Fusion, but it doesn’t last long as he turns around and walks straight into right hands from the man that beat him in the final of the 2010 Victory Cup, JVD! GREETINGS FROM THE BANKThe arena is jam packed tonight at the Air Canada Center in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where sVo wrestling is live. Fans are in their seats watching on as we head backstage where it looks like none other than former wrestler Howard “The Bank” Thompson is in the house. He is sporting an even bigger muscular body than last seen before as it looks like he has been working out. The former Hardcore, Tag Team and Las Vegas Champion is wearing black and white And1 runners with blue jeans on and a nice blue and aqua mixed button dress shirt on.

He has just finished visiting with old friends and past opponents when he is seen waving goodbye to them all. Just as he turns around there is a man standing in front of him dressed in his regular ring attire. This man is currently one half of the Tag Team Champions and his name is Joseph Equinox. Howard Thompson turns and is in shock at what stands in his view. From there he looks him up and down as Equinox wears a straight face.

Howie: “Joey buddy… how are y-“

Before he can say anything more, he stops himself. Howie sees the look upon his face and knows he is not there to ‘chat’.

Howie: “Okay then… you want to stop looking at me that way?”

Thompson curls his eyebrow upward, wondering what his deal is. That’s when he finally shakes his head and opens his lips to respond…

Equinox: “Well well… if it isn’t Howie Banks himself…”

Joseph holds his newly won gold on his shoulder as he shifts it in a vertical position and continues to speak.

Equinox: “I assume because we are just down the road from your residence that you think you can just waltz in here after leaving this place dry the last time, over and over again, is that it?”

He pauses, Howie smirks.

Equinox: “Hmm? Isn’t it!”

Thompson shrugs while taking a step back before coming face to face with his former friend back a few years ago when aligned with Psyko Stevo and Night.

Howie: “The truth is, I just came here to meet up with some old pals, and to tell you the complete truth…”

Howard looks him straight in his eyes as he finishes what he was going to say…

Howie: “I thought you were still one of them…”

Thompson shakes his head and goes to turn away before Joseph grabs him by the shoulder. Howie then quickly spins around and gets back into his face.

Equinox: “No that is not it at all, Howie. I know why you came here…”

Howie looks interested in hearing what he has to say.

Howie: “Oh really, now?”

“Simply A+” Joseph Equinox nods his head as he clears his thoughts now.

Equinox: “Yes… I do. You didn’t come back to visit friends, hell you didn’t even come back for the fans. You came back for YOU! Because deep down everybody including myself KNOWS that you are only ever about one thing, Howie.”

He points at Howie right in his face as Thompson seems a little upset by it.

Equinox: “YOURSELF!”

Joey takes a side step away before firing back with even more!

Equinox: “And if it’s not that… then it’s pretty much the exact same thing. You want another match…”

Howie has a look upon his face and in his eyes that tells the whole truth and story. Was it that he returned for a visit or was he back for one more match? He definitely had the body that proved it…

Howie: “Another match, huh? Is that why you think I came back here tonight? Well let’s get one thing straight, ‘Joey’…”

He pauses, then continues.

Howie: “I came back because all of these fans deserved to see me again. I can truly say that my days as Hollywood are over and you know what Equinox? If you are an A+ wrestler as you say you are, you would do something about it before I leave, instead of getting in MY FACE for no reason…”

Thompson and Equinox both go face to face again while continuing the conversation. Joseph shrugs his shoulders, cocks his head sideways and squints his eyes..

Equinox: “Well then, Howie… I guess you should go back home to retirement and whatever you do now… because nobody wants you here, and nobody cares!”

With that being said, Joseph looks into Howie’s eyes again deeply one last time before turning the other cheek and essentially the other way. Leaving the former sVo Legend in disbelief and to think about a lot.

TAKING CARE OF BUSINESSWe cut backstage where Rey Rosario is seen standing in a deserted hallway talking to an SVO referee. As the cameraman slowly moves closer to the two, we begin to be able to make out the words they are saying..

Rey:” Look all I’m saying, and this really isn’t a big thing, is that, while you and I may seem to be very different people on the surface, the truth is that right now, we are in the unique position of having a mutual interest. It’s really just a case of the classic ” You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours”….just, you know, not litterally though!”

He adds, quickly.

Rey:” Now I don’t want anything crazy to happen in this match, and with you set to officiate the match, I thought maybe we could reach an understanding, as I said, it can and will be mutually beneficial, I’m not one to brag but I am a very wealthy man and…”

Just then, Rey peeks over his right shoulder and notices the cameraman behind him.

Rey:” And as I was saying, you had better officiate this match fairly, I will not have anything tainting my win today, you got that?”

Rey then takes off down the hallway at a high speed, as we cut to another commercial.
Strobe lighting begins flashing in the arena as “Talkin’ 2 Myself” by Eminem hits the sound system. The fans jump to their feet and begin to cheer as as one half of the current sVo Tag Team Champions, Joseph Equinox steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp with his hands raised high in the air. Equinox suddenly brings his hands down and fireworks shoot up into the air behind him before he slowly begins to make his way down towards the ring. Equinox slides into the ring head first, before unstrapping the Tag Team Championship belt from around his waist and holding it in the air as the strobe lighting ends and his entrance music fades out.

The arena lights go dark as “Burn My Dread” hits the sound system. A pulsing strobe illuminates smoke gathering at the top of the entrance ramp. As the rapping begins, Zarathustra walks out from the smoke and down the ramp, ignoring the reaction from the crowd. He climbs up the apron and onto the top turnbuckle. THIS SEGMENT IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY PEPSI…Back in the Von Drake locker room, JVD and his stunning wife Lucy Von Drake are relaxing on a black leather sofa watching the aftermath of the Zarathustra match on a giant TV screen, whilst sipping on some chilled cans of Pepsi. JVD looks as if he is wearing a Pepsi branded t-shirt, as he is now contractual obligated to, and the fans immediately begin to boo as soon as they see the richest couple in the business on the giant screen.

JVD: “Zarathustra got off lucky last week in our triple threat match, and Grimnir got even luckier by managing to keep hold of that title belt. I think it’s time to cash in a few favours and cut a few deals with Anderson to make sure next time neither of them have a chance to wriggle out of defeat.”

James Von Drake takes another long gulp of Pepsi, showing the logo off to the camera before pulling out his cellphone and typing in the number for the sVo manager. However before he can hit dial, the image on the giant TV screen on front of him stops him in his tracks.

LVD: “What the hell?”

James and Lucy Von Drake both sit looking at the television with shocked expressions on their face as giant screen shows CCTV footage of Kenny von Drake talking with Zarathustra who is making his way backstage after his match against Joseph Equinox.

JVD: “I knew it. Whenever he has gone he has been jealous of my success, but this is taking things too far. Zarathustra has been a thorn in my side for weeks. He cost me the Las Vegas title belt more times than I care to remember!”

James Von Drake looks enraged as he jumps up from the sofa and throws the half drunk can of Pepsi against the wall.

JVD: “It’s time to end this once and for all.”

Lucy Von Drake looks worried as James Von Drake yanks the door open and storms out to find his half brother before slamming it behind him.

CROSSING THE LINEKenny Von Drake may have signed an sVo contract nearly a month ago, but despite not participating in a match yet, he has still made his way along with the world tour to each of it’s destinations, including tonight’s final date in Canada. However as he sits quietly in his locker room scouting out potential future opponents, he suddenly jumps up to his feet as his door is kicked down by his enraged younger half brother.

JVD: “You crossed the fucking line this time.”

James Von Drake has a steel pipe in his hand, which he swings in the direction of Kenny. Despite not being as decorated a wrestler as his younger brother, Kenny Von Drake is renounced for being twice as strong, so had no problems in catching his brothers arm before he could hit him.

KVD: “What the hell are you talking about?”

James Von Drake looks doubled enraged as his face turns visibly red as he is pushed away by Kenny Von Drake.

JVD: “I saw you earlier talking with Zarathustra. Where do you get off being best buddies with the man that has been trying to ruin my career for the last month? The man that has been after my wife?”

The older Von Drake brother shrugs his shoulders, until realising that his younger brother meant business.

KVD: “Look all I was doing was putting a warning out to him. A warning that he needs to stay away from the Von Drake’s, otherwise he would have the whole family after him. I think he got the message. Now all you need to do is take care of the Las Vegas Champ Grimnir, and you will be on top of the world!”

James Von Drake stared back at his brother for a few seconds, before tossing the pipe down to the floor and shaking his head. With Kenny Von Drake standing there smiling, the Victory Cup winner slowly walked away from the locker room not knowing what to think any more.

“That was close.”

Kenny Von Drake smiled and nodded his head, as he turned around to Zarathustra who was hiding in the back room, unbeknownst to James Von Drake.

KVD: “It certainly was indeed. Now the time for games are over, make sure you put my brother away for good. With him out of the picture, I can claim the family spotlight… and you can do whatever you want with his wife.”

Kenny Von Drake gives a sick smile, as Zarathustra looks at the older Von Drake brother from behind. Is Zarathustra really the sort of man who would take orders from Kenny Von Drake, or does he have his own plans in mind?BACKSTAGE

FRIENDLY TALKColt Cooper’s walking back to his home. He get’s there, opens the door and turns on the light to see Rey Rosario sitting on his bed. He’s looking up with this devilish look. Instead of Colt jumping on Rey as if they were at Roll The Dice, he grins and takes a seat right beside Rosario.

Colt::”I see you’ve made yourself acquainted. Isn’t this just a lovely home compared to your average locker room?”

Trying to make Rey feel down on himself, that Colt’s living lavish inside the Goodfellas Casino Arena, Rey Rosario just smiles.

Rey::”You call this living? Imagine how empty this will feel once you lose that Tag Team Title at Roll The Dice.”

Rey taps Colt on the back pointing at the Tag Team Title.”

Colt::”I thought I was foolish. There is no way Rey Rasarichoke that I’m losing to your ass. Perhaps you don’t remember your already defeat to whom. Or should I say whoms?”

Colt pats Rosario on the back now, and Rosario just nods his head.

Rey:: But what do I have that you don’t?”

Colt shrugs his shoulders, even though he knows what’s Rosario has.

Colt::”You have a shirt with your face on it, oh, I have one too but mines actually make sales in shopzone. So I don’t have a shirt that makes sales. That’s quite good that all of them makes sell.”

Rey::”A shirt doesn’t mean anything at Roll The Dice. I’m surprised you haven’t asked me who my partner will be.”

Colt looks around the room acting like he doesn’t hear Rey.

Colt::”I didn’t because I don’t care.”

Rey::”You better, because I can beat you, and he can definatley beat Joseph Equinox.

Rey arises from the bed opening the door.

Rey::”I have a match to get ready for. I suggest you think of a plan after you lose at Roll The Dice next week.

Rey walks out the door laughing. Colt looks on angered at Rosario. The scene fades out on the angry Colt Cooper.

Amos hits the mat hard and quickly rolls out of the ring to avoid the attack of Grimnir! The fans boo the actions of Amos as he stumbles around the ring holding his neck in pain, but Grimnir doesn’t seem to want to wait for Amos to get back into the ring, as he runs and hits a baseball slide on the Tapout Champion!

The fans cheer the impressive move from Grimnir as the referee demands that both men get back into the ring! Grimnir doesn’t seem to want to pay attention to the referee, as he pulls Amos up from the floor and slams his head face first into the announcers table. Amos stumbles backwards holding his face in pain as the referee begins to count.

Grimnir pulls Amos towards him and sets him up for a suplex! The crowd rise to their feet, but before the Las Vegas Champion can hit the move, Amos counters with a front suplex onto Grimnir, dropping him across the security barrier!

Four…

Five…

Six…

The fans boo the move from Samuel Amos, but suddenly there is huge cheers as the monster El Locon sprints down the entrance ramp with his own referee in close pursuit! It looks like El Locon is coming for Samuel Amos and the sVo Tapout Championship belt! Amos sees El Locon coming and immediately begins to back away, before jumping over the security barrier and into the crowd! El Locon continues to follow Amos through the crowd, as Grimnir begins to rise to his feet.

Seven..

Eight…

The fans cheer as Grimnir begins to crawl towards the ring, knowing that he can win this one by count out with Amos being chased from the ringside area by El Locon! However as Grimnir begins to pull himself onto the ring apron, the arena errupts into boos as James Von Drake runs down the entrance ramp! Just as it looks like Grimnir is going to pull himself into the ring, JVD grabs him from behind and tosses him into the security barrier!

Nine…

Ten…

The referee calls for the bell!

The fans continue to boo as JVD continues his viscous assault on the sVo Las Vegas Champion, with stiff kicks as Grimnir sits across the security barrier. Officials flood down the entrance ramp to try and separate the two men as sVo Showdown #60 heads to a commercial break!

sVo WELLNESS PROGRAMBack from commercial and the camera cuts to backstage where we see Canadian Crippler, all dressed in his wrestling attire, ready for his match tonight. He turns a corner and opens a door and moves in. Sitting at a desk is Matt Anderson with a police officer standing next to him.

Canadian Crippler: You got the results?

Matt Anderson: They just came in, earlier than I thought, so officer, what’s the verdict?

The police officer looks at a sheet of paper. Then looks up at the two.

Officer: The test came back negative for illegal substances.

Crippler smiles, Matt Anderson just grins back as if saying: you’re lucky.

Canadian Crippler: Thanks for the waste of time gentlemen, but I have a match to go to.

Officer: But…….

Matt Anderson looks at the officer.

Officer: We did find some traces of other substances.

Matt Anderson: Really?

Crippler turns back around, in his own wonder wanting to know what they found.

Officer: There were traces of Cialis, Enzyte, and eXtense.

Crippler stands there, Matt Anderson turns to him.

Matt Anderson: eXtense?

Canadian Crippler: I have no idea what he’s talking about.

Matt Anderson: If my memory serves me correctly….aren’t those-

Officer: Male enhancement supplements.

Canadian Crippler: Whoa, whoa, there’s got to be some sort of mistake, here.

Matt Anderson sits there trying not to laugh.

Canadian Crippler: What the hell you laughing at Anderson? I have no idea how that showed up on the drug testicle! I MEAN! There’s no way that should have came up on the penis screening…I mean drug screening!

Matt Anderson and the officer look at each other with smiles on their faces, Crippler with a big embarassed look on his.

Matt Anderson: Fine, fine, you’ll be cleared for tonight, Crippler. You’ll have to take it again, though. SVO will call your doctor, what’s his name again?

Canadian Crippler: Dr. Jacobs….damn!

Matt Anderson: I thought you went to that Chinese guy.

Canadian Crippler: You mean Dr. Yang? Ah!!!

Matt Anderson shakes his head with a huge smile on his face, loving every moment of this.

Canadian Crippler: I’ve got to go.

Matt Anderson: Wait! Crippler, are you under SVO insurance?

Canadian Crippler: I have a member! I mean, I AM a member! God damn it! I’m running late for my match.

Officer: Just need you to sign this ledger acknowlegding you got the results.

Canadian Crippler: Fine….I’ll just sign my cock…..I meant to say, my John Hancock!

Crippler signs the paper and walks out of the office, slamming the door behind him. Matt Anderson and the officer burst out in laugher. Then Matt Anderson turns to the officer.

Matt Anderson: Alright, get out.

The action cuts to ringside.RINGSIDE

WELCOME TO THE ASYLUM“Shut Up and Dance” by Aerosmith begins to blast over the arena sound system and the crowd unleashes a wave of boos aimed at Eddie Sinclair as he emergences from backstage, a scowl on his face. He marches down to the ring, climbing up the stairs and stepping between the ropes. He calls for a microphone and glances from side to side as he music dies away.

Eddie Sinclair: “All of you, shut the hell up! I’m out here to make a special announcement concerning Roll the Dice…”

Cheap pop from the crowd for Roll the Dice.

Eddie Sinclair: “Now as you’ll all know, I’ve had a bit of an up-and-down month. Personal issues nonwithstanding… I believe you’ll all understand when I can say that my performance has been slightly affected by these problems. But you see I’ve been thinking these last few days over exactly why I’ve been suffering so much.

Sinclair muses and rubs his beard thoughtfully.

Eddie Sinclair: “Ethan Rider is the cause of my recent misfortune, ladies and gentlemen. I’m sure you all noticed that I was on a bit of a losing streak while Rider was interfering in my affairs… then when he left me alone I started winning again. Now that he’s back, I’m losing again! I don’t like losing, people! It’s no so fun!”

Sinclair begins to pace back and forth, now tugging at his hair distractedly.

Eddie Sinclair: “Which is why… which is why I’m going to put an end to Ethan Rider for good! I’ve spoken to Matt Anderson and in one week, Ethan and I are going to meet in a match. But not just any match… this will be the first ever sVo Asylum Match! The concept is simply; a steel cage will be surrounding the ring, preventing either man from escaping. A straitjacket will be inside the ring, and the first man to get his opponent into the straitjacket will the match! It should be a crazy fun time, should it not?”

Sinclair taps his nose and laughs.

Eddie Sinclair: “You have one week to prepare, Ethan. Train and get ready for the toughest thing you will have experienced yet in your young life. Believe me, you only ever cross Eddie Sinclair once; just once.”

Sinclair throws down the microphone and “Shut Up and Dance” resumes playing. Sinclair climbs out of the ring and makes his way backstage, pausing only to flash one final smirk at the camera.RINGSIDE

PUMPKINS, CANDY AND LIABILITY WAIVERSIn the centre of the ring, a fold-out table covered in a black sVo banner sits with two clipboards, one on each side of the table – a microphone sits next to each clipboard. The crowd boo as Company representative Matt ‘Anarchy’ Anderson stands mid-ring, microphone in hand.

Anderson: “Ladies and gentlemen, next week as I’m sure you all know The Company is proud to present Roll the Dice. End to end RTD 2010 promises to be a stellar lineup with classic confrontations. However, I am standing here right now to address one match in particular.

The rivalry between the brothers Miyamoto has been heated and intensely personal. Next week the two men will finally meet to settle their differences one-on-one. Night attempting to avenge his brother’s betrayal and repeated attacks, Nightmare attempting to restore what he feels is the balance of power. And to add to the already heated confrontation – the match will be among the most brutal ever staged by the Sanctioned Violence Organization: A Glass Net Japanese Deathmatch.

Just to clarify to everyone exactly what this entails. In this contest the two brothers will compete in a no-holds barred, no disqualification, falls-count-anywhere match in which the ring ropes will be replaced with barbed-wire and four man-sized glass-plate lined traps will sit at ringside! In recent years government sanctions have tightened over these types of matches so as a result, for liability purposes we have here two safety and well-being waivers which will need to be signed by each of the two men in order for the match to be able to take place.”

There is a mixed reaction and the crowd buzzes with the news.

A whisper…

“I’m dreaming…”

The crowd in the Air Canada Centre bursts into a loud chorus of cheers as the distant chords of Deftones’ “Knife Party” cut through the PA as the arena lights cut completely. The Tron sparks to life as the words “I’m dreaming…” float onto it. As the song errupts the words are replaced by one.

A name.

” N I G H T “

An explosion of purple light as a man in a black mask appears and the cheers quickly turn to boos. Standing at the top of the entrance ramp in Night’s purple ring attire and black mask is a man of similar appearance to the former sVo World Champion – only the top of his head is covered in freshly shaved stubble. The man is none-other than Night’s own brother… Nightmare.

The crowd continues to voice its collective disapproval as ‘Night’ laughs hysterically before making his way to the ring, even attempting to high-five stunned fans as he goes. Finally reaching the ring, ‘Night’ moves to a laughing Matt Anderson who was obviously in on the joke. He plays to the crowd before picking one of the microphones off the table.

Nightmare: “Hey, check it out… I’m dreaming…”

His imitation is spot on and both he and Anderson burst out with laughter before ‘Night’ continues.

Nightmare: “Mr. Anderson, it’s an honor to be the butt-puppet of this company – I wouldn’t know a smart career move if it slapped me in the face and if I stop suckling on Master’s teet I’m sure to die of starvation within seconds!”

The two men continue laughing, the crowd booing loudly. Nightmare stops his guffaws and stares out at the crowd with mock-surprise.

Nightmare: “Oh come on, get into the Halloween spirit – fucking Canadians… if we were in the US they would have appreciated it. Maybe if I was speaking slower… eh…”

He grins as the boos reign down, several fans also throwing various pieces of debris into the ring. As Nightmare is about to continue he is interrupted by his own entrance music. Staring up at the entrance ramp he looks offended and confused, gesturing towards the curtain and demanding answers from Matt Anderson who looks equally baffled.

The arena lights fade and a red light begins to slowly strobe as “March of the Pigs” by Nine Inch Nails pounds through the arena over the PA system. The crowd burst into a loud chorus of boos as The Company logo floats onto the sVo tron, quickly replaced by a name.

“N I G H T M A R E”

The curtains part and a man in red trunks with a black streak down the side and a black mask cut away at the top to reveal a head of short dreadlocks hanging down and tracing his jawline. He half-grins/half-sneers although the audience have erupted with loud cheers for the man costumed as Nightmare… Night! Night wastes little time in stalking down the entrance ramp before quickly sliding under the bottom rope and into the ring – himself doing a spot on imitation of Nightmare’s mannerisms. He stands, jawing off at various members of the crowd as he comes face to face with Anderson and Nightmare jawing off at the two of them before grabbing hold of a microphone.

Night: “Hey, um, Mr. Anderson, I have to install a new bidet on my private jet – I’m finding I have an awful lot of mess left over because of all the pate and caviar I’ve been eating off my ivory fork. Since I’ve already sold-out my brother how about I go beat the hell out of my mother… or my dead grandmother…”

The crowd laughs as ‘Nightmare’ considers what he’s just said. The real Nightmare, dressed as Night stands fuming shouting scattered profanities at the real Night in both English and Japanese.

Night: “… actually wait, since I’m such an inconsiderate, self-obsessed, self-centred asshole I don’t actually give a shit about either of them… or anyone else for that matter… so the price wouldn’t be high enough for the model I want – it’s made from marble with gold plumbing. I know… how about I go beat the hell out of myself and you can buy me stuff?”

Finally having heard enough, the real Nightmare points at his brother, indicating his attire.

Night: “What? You’re the only one who can wear a costume? What happened to getting into the Halloween spirit?”

Nightmare twitches with rage having his own words thrown back at him as the crowd cheer and laugh. Mr Anderson, however, does seem to see the humor in the situation and chuckles.

Anderson: “Now now boys, save it for next week when people are paying to watch and there are dangerous things around. So – the point of coming out here was to sign this thing – either of you want to back out?”

The tone suddenly changes, the laughing stops and both brothers stare unmoving at the other… neither budges.

Anderson: “I’ll take that as a ‘no’ – get signing.”

Almost simultaneously each man moves to a different side of the table. Night signs quickly and abruptly, Nightmare signing with a more arrogant flare. As each brother finishes they shove the contracts towards Anderson who looks over them before nodding.

Anderson: “Then it’s official – you two have signed yourselves away – next week your match takes place and the sVo… we’re not responsible and more importantly, not liable for whatever horrific injuries you two are guaranteed to inflict on each other. It’s been nice knowing you both and good luck in your match… right now.”

The fun and games truly over, Anderson nods to two stage hands who quickly slide into the ring, removing the banner from the table before folding and removing the table from the ring.
Night and Nightmare already stand in the ring – each dressed for Halloween as each other – although in this case that only really involves each in the other’s colors. Still, it seems to be enough to still be causing each a great deal of tension. As they stand there, eyeballing each other, Last Resort hits the sound system and where there is usually a mixed reaction from the fans, the crowd at the Air Canada Centre seem more in favor of the two men than in other countries and cheer loudly as The Canadian Crippler and sVo International Champion Rey Rosario – The Canadian Connection – come out completely ignoring the crowd, Rosario sporting the sVo International Championship around his waist. The duo slowly make their way down the entrance ramp, remaining focused on the ring as they continue to ignore the noise from the fans. Both enter underneath the bottom rope and Rosario sits down on the corner awaiting the match to start.

As the referee indicates for two men to make their exit from the ring, Rosario and Crippler make eye contact and nod, Rosario rolling under the bottom rope and coming to stand in his corner while across the ring, Night has already stepped onto the apron and smiles smugly at his brother who fumes at him from the ring. Nightmare (dressed as Night) and Crippler are set to start this match as the referee calls for the bell.

Nightmare and Crippler circle each other before locking up, Crippler quickly twisting Nightmare’s arm with an arm-wrench, Nightmare flipping forward to break the hold and transitioning into a hammerlock. Crippler fires back with a back elbow, Nightmare ducking. Crippler uses his momentum and spins around, breaking the hammerlock before locking his hands and sending Nightmare flying with a belly-to-belly release suplex. Nightmare stands as Crippler charges, the masked man sending Crippler face-first to the mat with a drop toe-hold. He attempts to lock in an Achilles Tendon Hold but the man from Montreal is quick to roll away.

He stands, surprising Nightmare with a back spinning wheel kick. Nightmare, stunned, rolls to his feet and is quickly clubbed by a double axe-handle to the back, followed by another. Nightmare tries to stagger away but Crippler follows him, stinging him with vicious knife-edge chops which ring through the air in the arena. Nightmare catches him off-guard with a hard right hand. Nightmare attempts to follow up with another, but Crippler manages to block, again sending the masked wrestler staggering backwards with another big knife-edge chop followed by a boot to the mid-section which seems to take some of the air out of Nightmare’s sails.

Crippler backs Nightmare into his corner where he tags in Rey Rosario before whipping Nightmare across the ring. Crippler positions himself in the corner and Rosario proceeds to whip him towards Nightmare, Crippler spins slingshotting Rosario towards Nightmare and sending him crashing chest-first into the turnbuckle as Nightmare rolls aside. He moves to tag his brother but Night pulls his hand away at the last second, running it through his hair and pointing at Nightmare with his other hand.

Nightmare scowls at Night before turning his attention back to a quickly recovering Rosario, stomping on him repeatedly to try to keep him down. He picks Rey up, whipping him into a neutral corner and following him in, driving his knee into Rosario’s head with a shining wizard – one of Night’s signature moves. Outside the ring, Night is livid and Nightmare smirks at the reaction. He again scoops up Rosario, placing him in a fireman’s carry – the setup for Night’s finisher, The Dreaming! However, Nightmare seems to have underestimated the resilient International Champion who quickly hammers his way to freedom with a series of hard elbows. He drops in behind Nightmare and wrenches backwards, driving the older Miyamoto brother to the mat with a bridging German suplex!

One….

Two….

Thr….

Nightmare barely kicks out of the pin, but quickly rolls to safety and comes to sit against the bottom turnbuckle, using the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Rosario lunges at the dazed Nightmare, driving his forearm into Nightmare’s face repeatedly before taking him to the mat with a headlock takedown. He keeps the headlock on and wrenches in the lock. Nightmare struggles in the lock but manages to keep his shoulders off the mat. He manages to maneuver his right leg over Rosario’s head and locks him in a grounded headscissors, applying pressure and forcing Rosario to break his hold. Nightmare breaks his own lock and rolls to his feet, Rosario also coming to standing.

Rosario is the quicker of the two to attack as he presses his offense sending Nightmare reeling with a big European uppercut. He Irish whips Nightmare across the ring, Night tapping Nightmare on the shoulder as he hits the ropes – the referee registering the tag but neither Nightmare or Rosario seems to notice as Rosario bends forwards for a back bodydrop only to be caught with an incredibly stiff kick to the chest from Nightmare which is hard enough to stand Rosario up – Nightmare taking him down with an exploder suplex before covering. The referee, however, doesn’t count as Nightmare isn’t the legal man. The legal man for their team, Night (dressed as Nightmare), sits perched on the top turnbuckle. He launches off the top rope with a huge corkscrew moonsault, crashing down onto both Nightmare and Rey! The crowd pops for the carnage in the ring and Night is quick to follow up… with a Nightmare Sleeper (aka KIMURA Sleeper)… on Nightmare! Night wrenches the lock on his brother, the two men still on top of Rosario. The referee looks confused at the situation for a moment before dropping down to count the pin!

One….

Two….

Three….

Rosario gets a shoulder up at the last possible moment! Night meanwhile continues to wrench the Nightmare Sleeper on Nightmare – the referee turns his attention to breaking up the hold. Having done that, he finally ejects Nightmare from the ring and Night turns his attention to the downed Rey Rosario in the ring. Night pulls Rey to his feet before peppering him with a series of quick, sharp strikes and kicks which back the International Champion into a neutral corner. The former World Champion charges in, nailing Rey with a shining wizard which sends Rosario crumpling to the mat. He climbs through the ropes before ascending the turnbuckles.

Rosario stuns everyone, Night included as he quickly climbs to his feet as Night reaches the top turnbuckle, knocking the top rope and causing Night to lose his footing – he lands awkwardly, but manages to catch himself somewhat, however he remains stunned. Rosario quickly mounts the turnbuckles himself, setting up Night for a superplex! However, Night manages to grab hold of the top rope, causing Rosario to tip backwards slightly. Night quickly follows up with a sharp hook punch to Rey’s ribs. Rey falls but manages to land on his feet, although he clutches at his ribs – Night leaps off the turnbuckle, flipping over Rosario and grabbing him around the waist before driving Rosario into the mat with a sunset flip bomb!

The crowd pops for the big move as Night quickly moves to his corner to tag in Nightmare. Nightmare tries the same psyche out his brother pulled earlier, but Night simply punches Nightmare in the face, the referee registering the tag. Nightmare reacts by slingshotting over the top rope and locking his legs around Night’s head attempting to hurricanrana him out of the ring! Night hold onto the ropes however and, using all his strength lifts Nightmare for a powerbomb, holding him at the peak of the lift and spinning to bring his brother into the ring. However, before he can drop his partner/victim, Nightmare grabs hold of the laces at the back of Night’s mask and begins tearing at it! Night drops his grip and his hands shoot up to his head, attempting to keep his mask on. Nightmare is unrelenting as he continues to attempt to rip the mask off – Night fighting more and more desperately to keep it over his face. As the two brothers struggle, Nightmare drills Night with a hard roundhouse kick to the ribs, following with another to the head, sending Night reeling.

Meanwhile across the ring, Rey Rosario has recovered considerably during all the distraction and has tagged in Canadian Crippler. The two men charge across the ring, sending Nightmare back-flipping to the mat with a devastating double-clothesline! Night continues to struggle with his severely loosened mask and is send flying from the ring with a big double-dropkick to the back from The Canadian Connection. They turn their attention back to Nightmare, who unsteadily has made his way back to standing. Rosario heads to the top rope as Crippler takes a three-point stance before charging forwards, again dropping Nightmare with a clothesline. Rosario leaping off the top turnbuckle with a Rey Drop on the downed Nightmare – he rolls out of the way and out of the ring, Canadian Crippler quickly moving in for the pin!

One….

Two….

Three!

NO! Nightmare manages a last second kickout. Crippler looks to the referee for confirmation of the three-count and can hardly believe there was a kickout in time. He stands, quickly attempting to lock in the Canadian Lock – Nightmare struggles to block the move and Crippler attempts to turn him the other way. Again Nightmare blocks. Crippler, getting frustrated, stomps down on the midsection of Nightmare, finally managing to turn him over and locking in the Canadian Lock! The fans applaud the Canadian native as Nightmare writhes in the ring attempting to escape, however Crippler, a seasoned and experienced technician manages to keep the lock wrenched in.

Agony etched on his masked face, Nightmare begins to crawl towards the ropes, reaching desperately as Crippler provides as much resistance as possible. Nightmare loses traction with his hands and Crippler pulls him back into the centre of the ring much to the delight of the crowd. Nightmare raises an arm and looks ready to tap when in a flurry of red, Crippler is send flying with a slingshot dropkick courtesy of Night!

Night scoops up his brother, setting him up for the Rogue Driver! As he hooks his arms, Nightmare, desperate not to be hit with his own finisher by his brother, digs deep and stands. Night is sent flying and Nightmare, exhausted from the effort and now favoring his ankle after Crippler’s devastating Canadian Lock crashes down to one knee. The referee ushers Night from the ring as Crippler tags in Rosario once more. Rosario scales to the top turnbuckle as Crippler pulls Nightmare to his feet before setting him up for a piledriver! Rosario leaps as Crippler drops down, Rey grabbing hold of Nightmare’s feet and spiking him into the mat! Rosario hooks Nightmare’s leg for the cover.

One….

Two….

Three!

Another near fall for The Canadian Connection and Rey Rosario can’t believe Nightmare kicked out! Frustrated he stands and signals that this is the end of the match. He pulls a dazed Nightmare to his feet and sets him up for Rey’s DDT! Nightmare stuns Rey however, catching him in the solar-plexus with a desperate right-hook. Rey is backed up but quickly recovers and sends Nightmare to the mat with a snap suplex. He stands, pointing to the top turnbuckle which he again quickly scales before flying off and hitting another Rey Drop – again hooking Nightmare’s leg for the cover.

One….

Two….

Three!

Again Nightmare kicks out – Rey slapping the mat in frustration. He stands and pulls Nightmare to his feet roughly, drilling him with hard knees to the midsection before again setting him up for Rey’s DDT! Nightmare drops to his knee and manages to escape. He backpedals unsteadily into his own corner where again Night tags himself into the match. This time Nightmare notices and immediately snaps back to his senses, turning to pre-emptively strike his brother. Night blocks Nightmare’s wild haymaker and sends him flying backwards into the ring with a slingshot front dropkick. Nightmare is sent sprawling and Rey lunges at Night with a clothesline, sending the masked man crashing to the mat. Rey hits Night with a legdrop before pulling him to his feet and whipping him towards the ropes.

As Night bounces off the far ropes, Rosario again bends forwards for a back body-drop – Night instead setting up Rosario for a Rogue Driver! Nightmare stands and the two brothers make eye-contact before Night drives Rosario crashing head-first onto the mat with his brother’s finisher – this seems to be too much for Nightmare who roars and charges his younger brother, striking at his head and midsection mercilessly before hoisting him onto his shoulders and driving him down onto the already prone Rey Rosario with The Dreaming! Night seems out cold but is slumped over Rosario so the referee counts anyway. Crippler charges the ring but is met with an already adrenaline and rage charged Nightmare who grabs hold of him and sends him flying head-first through the ropes before dropping down and rolling under the bottom rope before slowly backing up the entrance ramp.

One….

Two….

Three!

The referee calls for the bell as once again Night and Nightmare have miraculously managed to defeat their opponents despite coming to blows throughout the match. The referee points down at the fallen Night and the exiting Nightmare, before raising an arm in the air to signify their win – he then proceeds to roll the slowly recovering Night off the downed International Champion to check on them both.

OUTCOME: Night & Nightmare defeats Candian Connection via pinfallRINGSIDE

A WEAKNESS EXPOSEDAs Rosario rolls out of the ring, a determined Nightmare stops his back-tracking up the ramp and instead starts to move back down towards the ring. He rolls under the bottom rope and mercilessly pulls his dazed and beaten brother to his feet by his hair. He nails him with two hard body punches followed by five hard knee-strikes. He sets up Night for The Rogue Driver as the fans in attendance jeer and boo loudly – however those boos quickly turn to cheers as Night manages to power his way to standing, dropping back and sending Nightmare crashing to the mat with a reverse electric chair drop! Unsteadily he pulls Nightmare to his feet and onto his shoulders as the sVo universe cheers in anticipation of The Dreaming.

Nightmare meanwhile, instead of trying to free himself from the move begins working at the laces holding Night’s mask on once more – almost immediately, Night drops Nightmare and clutches at his mask. He scrambles away from Nightmare and attempts to re-tie it desperately, only to be doubled up by a kick to the midsection and sent crashing to the mat via a Rogue Driver courtesy of his brother. The crowd shower the ring in debris and boos as Nightmare stands over his brother, a devious and triumphant grin plastered on his masked face.BACKSTAGE

WE MEET AGAINBackstage, Juliana Torres is seen walking down the hall with Princess in her arms. She stops suddenly and smirks, her eyes staring straight ahead.

Juliana Torres: Wow You showed up this time. I thought you were going to bail out again.

Juliana’s voice is somewhat hateful, but it soon becomes apparent why as Chivo walks up to her and the two go toe-to-toe. Chivo reaches out to stroke Princess, but Torres pulls her away quickly.

Juliana Torres: Don’t you firetrucking touch her!

Chivo smirks.

Chivo: You know, Julie – you don’t mind if I call you Julie, right?

Juliana scowls as Chivo smiles at her.

Chivo: Well Julie, it’s been a long time. You and I, we’ve had our differences and we’ve put each other through hell; prison isn’t a nice place.

Juliana smiles as Chivo scowls.

Chivo: And I know that you weren’t too happy with what happened to Princess. But that’s done with and it’s time to move on.

Juliana turns her head slightly raising an eyebrow, trying to figure out what Chivo was up to. Chivo raises his hand to calm her.

Chivo: Look, I don’t blame you for not trusting me, but I’m done with our spat. We had one of the greatest feuds in history, but it’s time to move on. I heard about what happened to Lizzie.

Juliana goes to say something, but Chivo interrupts her.

Chivo: I’m not here to cause trouble. I just wanted to say I hope you get her back and she’s ok. I’m told you’re in rehab, why’s that?

Juliana glares at Chivo.

Juliana: It was that or jail. I took the rehab for my “Drinking” Issue. I actually had the option of not being in jail and being someone’s prison bitch unlike you.

Chivo clenches his fist and goes to retaliate, but restrains himself and looks towards Torres.

Chivo: I hope you recover quickly. I know it must be hell for you.

Chivo turns and walks away from Torres, leaving Juliana confused.

Juliana Torres: Come on Princess we have things to do…

Torres continues her walk down the hallway as Showdown goes to commercial.BACKSTAGE

The Teacher shakes his head in anger every time he sees himself getting dropkicked over the top rope by the rookie Alex Brooks, costing him the opportunity to win the golden contract and a shot at any belt he wanted in the sVo!

The Teacher seems fixated with rage on Alex Brooks, will he be looking to teach the rookie a lesson in the coming weeks?
Coming Soon LIVE from the Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas
sVo Roll the Dice 2010
Featuring Roscoe Shame vs. Bobby Dean
For the sVo World Heavyweight Championship
7th November 2010
The fans in the arena pop as yellow and red fireworks shoot up into the air from the entrance ramp as “Drop Tha World” by Lil Wayne hits the sound system. A few seconds later Roscoe Shame appears at the top of the ramp pretending to play the guitar, and the fans go wild for 6’6″ heavyweight from Kalamazoo, Michigan. The fans stand to their feet and cheer at the mockery he is making of himself at the top of the entrance stage before he makes his way slowly down the entrance ramp his way to the ring. As Shame walks past pyro’s shoot up alongside him from either side of the ramp until he reaches the ring. Roscoe Shame slowly climbs into the ring soaking up the fans reaction, before posing on the nearest turnbuckle with his sVo World Heavyweight Championship belt.

“Drop Tha World” by Lil Wayne hits the sound system again, and a reluctant looking Jeremiah Sloan slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp. Sloan is dressed not in his usual business suit, but in a ‘Shame Time’ t-shirt and black jogging bottoms. Sloan rolls into the ring, knowing that he will have to face his friend Roscoe Shame in tonight’s main event.

Shame and Sloan stare across the ring at each other, as the referee calls for the bell to be rung. Shame and Sloan slowly make their way towards each other in the middle of the ring, and touch knuckles before trying up. Sloan begins to push Roscoe Shame backwards, but Shame counters with a arm drag takedown onto his manager. Sloan slowly rises up to his feet, but Roscoe Shame runs into him with a big boot to the face that sends Sloan down!

Sloan rises up to his feet looking annoyed at Shame as he holds his face in pain. There is a mixed reaction from the crowd as Sloan walks forwards towards his friend and shoves him in the chest. Shame looks confused with the reaction from Sloan, before taking him down to the mat with a head lock takedown. As Shame locks in a reverse chin lock on Sloan, there is boos from the crowd as the #1 contender Bobby Dean slowly walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp with a microphone in hand.

Bobby Dean – “Whoa, Whoa Whoa! What the hell is this? What do you guys think your doing going easy on each other? I told you two to FIGHT!”

The crowd continue to boo as Roscoe Shame and Sloan stare up at the sVo World Heavyweight Championship #1 contender.

Bobby Dean – “Just to make this more interesting, the Company has decided to make this a first blood match, and stick that World Championship belt on the line!”

The crowd boo loudly as Bobby Dean grabs a chair and sets it up on the entrance ramp to watch the action! Roscoe Shame and Sloan stare across at each other, tonight one man will have to bleed to beat their friend, and the winner will head to Roll the Dice next week to face Bobby Dean!
