Greatness Begins

Colt Cooper is walking backstage getting ready to partake in his debut against Jaden Daniels. He stops and stretches for a bit, but has to stop due to the beautiful Belinda Abdul walking by catching his eyes.

Colt:: Wait up Belinda!!!

Belinda turns around to see Colt running towards her.

Coop:: Let’s get an interview going or something.

Being one of SVO’s newest backstage crew members, Belinda kept a mic in her pocket. A camera crew followed her as well so the interview could be broadcasted throughout the arena. On every TV in the arena. Which means Coop’s opponents will see the promo also.

Belinda:: {Motioning to get the cameras rolling.} Hi, i’m the beautiful Belinda Abdul, and as you see…i’m standing here with “A-Lister” Colt Cooper. Now Colt probably isn’t known to alot of you, but he plans on becoming more known tonight when he faces off with Jaden Daniels in their debut match.

Coop puts his hands on his waist and stares up before a word rolls off of his tongue.

Coop:: Ya know…tonight is a very important night. Not to just Jaden, but the whole roster of SVO. I know that most of those guys back there are just saying who is this kid, and he’s no fit for SVO, but when you actually look at it…I don’t see anybody on the roster with my potential. None of these guys have the slightest looks that I have. All I see is ugly wash away’s running around boring the hell out of me. Not to mention the lack luster talent they have. I got to tell ya….{Sighs} SVO needs me.

Coop nods his head in approval of the need of him. Belinda shakes her head and gives a little smile.

Belinda:: So the SVO needs Colt Cooper?

Coop:: Yeah Belinda…it does. I see guys going International, a stale guy returning. Someone trying to teach, someone trying to be a nightmare, but I don’t see that Pinnacle…I don’t see that “A-Lister”. None of these guys can bring SVO from here…to there.

Coop points up like he’s pointing to The Big Dipper. Meaning higher heights than before.

Belinda:: Perhaps you can’t do what you say Mr. Colt Cooper?

Coop:: I’m not just saying that…but i’m promising that. I’ll guarantee on that. I’ll make sure that Jaden Daniels is my first example. These mediocre guys have nothing on me. Nothing.

Coop puts his hands around Belinda.

Coop:: There is only one objective for now, and that’s to get myself a championship. With the talentless group the SVO has under contract…It’s looking like it’s going to be an easy road to get there. I mean lets look at it. BBD is a drunk from what i’ve seen this week, and he can’t find a lady friend so he wastes money on prostitutes. If I project this right. In two or three days he’ll have something, but if I ever get the chance then I know what i’ll have of his.

Belinda:: SO you’re saying you can beat BBD?

Coop:: Come on Belinda. Does it look like i’m joking. Not just BBD, but Pat Fullam, Roscoe Shame, Nightmare…anybody. I’m just that GREAT.

Coop hears his theme music beginning to play in the arena. He grows jumpy as he’s ready to make light work of Jaden Daniels. He begins to walk to the entrance way, but turns around mentioning something to Belinda.

Coop: Oh, and Belinda…tonight is the beginning of Greatness.

Colt winks his eye, and the cameras begin to fade out to the beautiful Belinda Abdul.

SINGLE MATCH
Colt Cooper vs. Jaden Daniels

As he’s followed only by a white spotlight, Jaden Daniels comes out from behind the curtain wearing a fur coat, and opens the coat, showing his abs to the crowd, which sets off a pyro. As he makes his way down the aisle, lights around the arena flash to imitate flash bulbs. As he steps into the ring, he steps on to a corner posts, and taunts one more time, as a fountain of gold sparklers surrounds the ring.

BOOM DO YOU HEAR IT!!!

BOOM DO YOU NEED IT!!!

BOOM DO YOU FEEL IT!!!

LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!!!

After waiting a few seconds, Colt Cooper appears on the ramp with his normal cocky smile. He positions both of his arms out, tapping his chest taunting the crowd. A spectrum of black and blue strobe lights fills up the arena followed by a down pour of confetti. Colt struts his way to the ring extending his hands to some of his fans, and gives the middle finger to the fans of SVO who don’t like him.

Cooper and Daniels are circling one another. Daniels and Cooper with the tie up. Cooper with an Irish whip. Daniels bounces back, Cooper looking for an armdrag. Cooper takes Daniels down. Cooper locks in an armbar and starts driving his elbow into the shoulder of Jaden Daniels. Cooper releases his grip allowing Daniels to drop to the ground and goes for a school boy roll up.

Cooper kicks out at two and a half! Daniels gets to his feet and lifts Cooper up and sends him to the mat with a bodyslam. In a burst of energy, Cooper jumps to his feet but Daniels sends him back down with a dropkick. Daniels jumps ontop of Cooper and cradles his head and starts to pound away with fists. The crowd counts with every fist from Daniels. Daniels finally ends the barrage of punches and pulls Cooper to his feet and pushes him into the turnbuckle. Daniel climbs to the middle rope and without hesitation grabs Cooper around the neck and slams him head first into the mat with a DDT. Daniels goes for another pin as Cooper holds his now bleeding face.

ONE!

TH…

Cooper kicks out again. Daniels this time starts to lay the boots to Cooper before picking him up. As he tries to bring his opponent to his feet, Cooper finds a way to land a low blow to the Daniels’ jewels. Cooper jumps up and hits Daniels with a rising uppercut. Cooper lifts Daniels to his feet and sends him into the corner and hits him with a corner splash. Cooper sends Daniels into the opposite corner and lands another one. Cooper stays on the attack and drops Daniels to the canvas with a spinebuster. Cooper goes for the pin.

ONE!

TWO!

THRE… NO!!!

Daniels manages to kick out at the last second. Cooper gets to his feet and lifts Daniels for a vertical suplex. Someway, somehow Daniels finds a way to wiggle his way free and reverse the move into a DDT. Daniels picks up Colt and sends him into the corner and follows up with a spear. Daniels stays on the offensive with several knees to the ribs of Cooper. Daniels goes to the top rope and starts to pound his fists into Cooper’s head. The fans start to count, but are abruptly interrupted when Cooper finds a way to poke Daniels in the eye. Cooper wraps his arms around Jaden’s legs and slams him down to the mat with a sitting powerbomb. He rolls him up.

ONE!

Colt Cooper has done it! He picks up the victory in a hard fought match against Jaden Daniels.

I Am Watching You

The camera cuts backstage to the sight of “Mr. International” Roscoe Shame entering the Goodfellas Arena. As he walks towards his locker room he makes sure to speak to the each backstage worker as he passes by them. He finally reaches his locker room, but is stops in his tracks as he comes face to face with The Teacher, who happens to be standing in front of the door. Shame looks The Teacher up and down expecting him to move, but to no avail.

Shame: Can I help you with something?

Teacher: I have been watching you Shame and I must say that I am greatly disappointed.

Shame: Well everybody has been watching me, I mean I am “Mr. International” for a reason. And why on earth are you disappointed in me and why should I even care?

Teacher: If you don’t already know, you will soon find out my friend. But I will warn you that you better watch your back.

Shame: Watch my back for what?! I’m standing right here….we can throw down right here right now!

Teacher: That will not be necessary. Just know that I have been watching and I will continue to watch.

The Teacher slides out of the way and walks down the hall. Roscoe follows the man with his eyes until he is out of sight. He walks into his locker room with a puzzled look on his face.

Night vs. Victory Cup Winner

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Brock vs. El Locon vs. Asesino

“Too much too young too fast” by Airborne hits the sound system and the fans cheer as the letters ‘HoV’ appear on the sVo-Tron. As his music kicks in, Brock appears on the stage. Giving the crowd a once over, he smirks, throwing a few punches, and jabs, as he makes his way to the ring. Sliding in, he climbs the first turnbuckle in reach, and scans the crowd, raising one finger skyward, as he takes in the fans response. Jumping down, he paces the ring, waiting for the match to begin.

‘Headstrong’ by Trapt plays. On the screen we see highlights of Asesino doing different moves. Then Asesino comes out watching the entire crowd and then walks down the aisle acknowledging the crowd. He enters the ring and climbs on the second rope patting his chest and throwing a kiss to the crowd.

‘Ugly’ by Mudvayne plays as El Locon comes out wearing a straight jacket and escorted by a man wearing a white jacket and a net. They both enter the ring and the man escorting El Locon releases him from his straight jacket.

The referee calls for the triple threat match to get underway, and Asesino and El Locon quickly make their way into the middle of the ring, and kick things off by trading big rights and lefts. Asesino gains the upper hand on El Locon and knocks his rival down to the mat, however Brock quickly grabs Asesino by the back of the head and slams him face first into the turnbuckle. Asesino stumbles backwards and Brock takes down Asesino with a headlock takedown. Brock rises up to his feet looking very pleased with his move on Asesino, however El Locon is quickly onto him as the 6’6” giant nails him with a big boot to the face.

Brock pops back up to his feet, however El Locon scoop slams him back to the mat, before he turns his attention to Asesino with some big upper cuts to send him into the corner of the ring. Asesino looks in pain in the corner as El Locon smashes him in the side of the head with a big elbow smash, before he is grabbed from behind by Brock. Brock suplexes El Locon down to the mat, before dropping an elbow across the upper body of the big man. With El Locon down on the mat, Brock runs at Asesino in the corner and clotheslines him in the corner of the ring. With Asesino hurting, Brock pulls him out of the corner and then tosses him down to the mat with a full nelson slam. The fans give a mixed reaction to Brock as he stomps away on Asesino, before turning his attention back to El Locon who is slowly getting to his feet.

Brock hits some right hands on El Locon, before taking him down with a dragon screw takedown. With El Locon on his back, Brock drops his elbow across the knee of his opponent in an attempt to try and cut the big man down by working on his legs. Brock then locks in a single leg boston crab move to try and wear down the leg of El Locon, before the hold is broken by the onrushing Asesino with a kick to the face of Brock.

Brock holds his face in pain, but Asesino shows no mercy as he tosses Brock into the ropes before running at his opponent and taking him down with a spinning elbow smash. Brock drops to the mat in pain, and Asesino jumps to the third rope, and then leaps down onto Brock with a rolling knee drop. Brock rolls to the side of the ring to recover from the move as Asesino turns back to El Locon. Asesino pulls El Locon to his feet, but as he does El Locon grabs him and lifts him high into the air with a military press! El Locon shows off his strength by holding Asesino high above his head for a few seconds, before dropping him down to the mat! El Locon quickly drops down and hooks the leg of his opponent to make the cover.

One….

El Locon bounces back into the middle of the ring and Asesino takes him down with a back body drop on his opponent. El Locon struggles up to his feet after the move, but Asesino is straight back onto his opponent with some right hands to the side of the head, before a chin breaker from the long haired Asesino takes El Locon down to the mat. With El Locon down, Asesino bounces into the ring ropes and hits a big leg drop across his opponent, before making the cover!

One,

Just when it looked as if Asesino was going to pick up his first sVo win, Brock dives in to break the pinfall attempt and save the match! Brock pulls Asesino up to his feet and goes to work on him with some knee smashes to the face. Asesino swings a wild right hand in the direction of Brock, but Brock manages to duck underneath of the arm of Brock and take him down to the mat with a big jawbreaker. The fans cheer the move from Brock, but the HoV founding member isn’t finished yet as he jumps back to his feet and shouts at Asesino to get up!

Asesino slowly staggers to his feet, and Brock grabs hold of him before drilling him to the mat with a gutwrench backbreaker! The fans once again cheer the impressive move from Brock who seems to be gathering momentum in the match! With Asesino down on the mat, Brock wastes no time in making his way towards the corner of the ring, before climbing up the ring ropes to the top of the turnbuckle! The fans rise to their feet in anticipation of seeing a high-flying move, and they are not disappointed as Brock leaps from the top rope and lands a perfect shooting star press onto Asesino!

Asesino is down and hurt after the move from Brock, however the high flying offence also seems to have taken it’s toll on Brock as he tries to crawl over slowly to make the cover onto Asesino.

One,

Two,

No!

Before the three can be counted, El Locon gets in to break up the pinfall by picking Brock clean up off of Asesino! El Locon then slams Brock down to the mat with a big fallaway slam before rising to his feet and taunting to the fans! The fans rise to their feet and give a mixed reaction to the monster El Locon as he turns and pulls Brock up to his feet. El Locon shoots Brock into the ropes before bouncing off of the ring ropes himself, and meeting his opponent in the middle of the ring with the ‘El Loco from Hell’! Brock looks like he was almost wiped out from that vicious clothesline, as El Locon hooks the leg of Brock to quickly make the cover.

One,

Two,

Three!

This one is all over after that impressive finishing move, and its El Locon who picks up a big win over Brock and the unlucky Asesino! El Locon rises up to his feet as his music blasts over the sound system, and his hand is raised in the air by the referee. With an impressive performance like that, can El Locon now go on to make a big impact on the sVo in the near future?

RESULT: El Locon def. Brock & Asesino via pinfall

An Interview with the Future Champion

James Von Drake is a man that is used to finding himself surrounded by beautiful women, therefore he did not feel out of place as he stood backstage between his wife Lucy Von Drake and SVO interviewer Candi Cross. With Candi Cross clutching the microphone and staring seriously down the lens of the camera, the SVO management had obviously rolled out there head interviewer for a few words with one of the newest stars on the roster.

CANDI CROSS – ‘Ladies and gentlemen, I am here backstage with James Von Drake, the man who last week burst onto the scene by entering himself into the Victory Cup tournament and defeating Asesino in his first ever SVO match. Tonight he faces Crippler, knowing that a win will see him progress into the final of the tournament and gain instant success here.’

JVD looks down the lens of the camera with a cocky look on his face, as if he is quite happy with the glowing reference from the head interviewer.

CANDI CROSS – ‘James, you made a big impact last week against Asesino, can you carry that over to this week against Crippler?’

JVD – ‘Candi…. Great name by the way…… There is no way that I will not walk out of here tonight with a place in the Victory Cup final in the bag. Out of all the challenges that the SVO could have thrown at me here, they have thrown me a Chris Benoit rip off. That’s right, someone models themselves on a murderer. Crippler doesn’t even belong in the same ring as JVD, and tonight I am going to prove that to the world.’

CANDI CROSS – ‘Many of the wrestlers backstage are likely to be upset that you have catapulted yourself into the tournament with the prize of a shot at the World title, when they have been here for years trying to work there way up the ladder. Are you worried about painting a target on your own back?’

JVD – ‘Worried? The people that should be worried should be the wrestlers on the SVO roster! They have been here for years and what have they done? Nothing! I am twenty five years old and I have already achieved more in my life than guys half my age. I’ve got World titles under my belt, millions in the bank and a hot wife…..’

James Von Drake turns and gives his wife Lucy Von Drake a wink.

JVD – ‘And how did I do all that in such a short time? I know what I want, and I go out and get it! Forget all this paying dues and working your way up the ladder. If you want something, you go and get it by any means possible. I want the Victory Cup, and I AM going to win it! After that I want the World title and I AM going to win it! Crippler, DJ or Chris Wrestling and Night….. You have all been put on notice!’

James Von Drake stares down the lens of the camera with an intense look, but cocky grin on his face as Candi Cross wraps up the interview.

CANDI CROSS – ‘There we have it folks, JVD has thrown down his marker to the main event stars of the SVO despite only being here for one week, now back to ringside!’

SINGLE MATCH
The Teacher vs. Juliana Torres

Sinner by Drowning Pool begins. On the big screen we see The Corporate Lady holding a white owl in her left side of her shoulder and walking toward the ring smoke comes out when she shows up on the screen and she walks on heavy steps looking to the crowd with a mad look and showing no happiness in her eyes a firework sound on her background while she gets inside the ring.

‘Stand Up’ – Trapt begins to play over the sound system and the lights in the arena cut out. A spotlight searches around the crowd until it picks out The Teacher slowly making his way through the fans towards the ring. The Teacher leaps over the barrier and slides into the ring, ready to bring another wrong-doer to justice.

The referee calls for the bell, and the match is underway. Juliana and Teacher circle the ring, and then lock up. Teacher quickly locks in a headlock, then sends the former Las Vegas Champion off the ropes with an Irish whip. When she bounces back, Teacher leans forward for a back body drop, but Juliana counters with a stingy kick to the chest. Teacher staggers backwards a couple of steps, and then is taken to the mat with a diving clothesline.

She quickly hops on top Teacher and lays into him with a series of right hands to the head. Teacher struggles, and finally manages to wiggle free. He clambers to his feet, but is caught by a stiff right fist from Torres. The former champ grabs Teacher and sends him off the far ropes, but Teacher is smart enough to hold onto the ropes, avoiding a dropkick attempt. Juliana hits the mat, and is momentarily stunned. Teacher takes advantage of the miscue, dropping an elbow down across her throat. Torres gasps for air, but Teacher doesn’t give her a chance to catch it as he hops back to his feet, and drops another elbow down across her throat. Juliana looks to be in trouble, but things go from bad to worse as Teacher locks in a triangle choke.

The referee checks for a tap out, but Juliana has only escape on her mind. She struggles to free herself, but Teacher tightens his legs around the her neck. The referee checks again, and notices that Juliana is fading fast. He lifts Torres’ arm in the air, and it drops to the mat.

1…

He lifts the arm again, and it drops.

2…

The ref lifts Torres’ arm a third time and lets go. The arm falls towards the mat, but just before it makes contact with the canvas, Juliana shoots back to life. Her fist starts to shake as she raises it towards the roof. The ref signals for the match to continue, and Juliana starts to fight back. With her free arm she swings wildly, trying to connect with any kind of strike she can. She manages to smash Teacher right in the face, but the submission hold is still locked in securely. She connects with another smash to the face, finally causing Teacher’s grip to loosen. Then with a sudden show of strength Juliana starts to pick Teacher up off the mat. However Teacher lets go of the triangle hold and falls back to the mat. He pulls himself back away from Juliana who is finally able to catch her breath. Teacher lunges up from the mat, tackling Torres to the mat. The two exchange blows rolling around the ring in a frenzy of flailing arms and legs.

Eventually they make it to their feet both showing the toll the match has taken on them. Teacher fires away with a haymaker, but Juliana blocks it. Teacher with another haymaker, and Juliana with another block. This time, Torres fires back with a stiff right hand, and then another, and another. The series of punches has Teacher backed into a corner. The first lady of sVo then sends The Teacher screaming across the ring, and into the far corner. She follows up with a big splash into the corner, but Teacher ducks out of the way. Teacher then goes for a neckbreaker, sending Torres crashing to the mat. The Teacher climbs to the top rope and signals for the end. The Teacher leaps, landing in the midsection of Torres with The Top of The Class. The referee slides into position and makes the count.

Chris Wrestling stalks DJ as he begins to get up to his feet, before grabbing him around the waist in position for a German suplex. Knowing that if he is hit with the move then it might be the end of the match, DJ desperately fights out of the position with some back elbows to the face of Chris Wrestling. Company Offer Pt.1

After the impressive win by DJ over his fellow Corporation member Chris Wrestling, the victor slowly stumbles backstage looking exhausted with sweat dripping down his face after the gruelling encounter. However despite only wanting to head to his locker room and rest and recover for the rest of the night, one man stands in the corridor and blocks his path.

Matt Anderson- “That was an impressive win out there tonight DJ. Congratulations on making it through the final of the Victory Cup. If you can continue to put in performances like that then I see no reason why you wouldn’t be able to win the tournament, and then go on to beat Night in the main event at Ultimate Victory.”

DJ just stares back at Matt Anderson without replying to the comments of the Company member.

Matt Anderson – “Infact I hear that you have been having problems in that little Corporation group of yours, infact I am pretty sure Chris Wrestling isn’t going to be too pleased with you after beating him out there tonight. Didn’t he make himself your leader?”

DJ stares back at Matt Anderson and tries to hide the look of annoyance on his face whilst shrugging his shoulders.

Matt Anderson – “That’s the problem when you find yourself in group with the likes of Chris Wrestling, Raven and Juliana Torres. They end up getting jealous of your success, and then they will end up turning on you. Mark my works. What you should do is the smart thing. You should get out of the Corporation and join a proper group that would appreciate your talents. In the Company we already have the International Championship, the Las Vegas Championship and the Tag Team Championships! We would love to have the Victory Cup winner and World Champion in our group as well.”

Matt Anderson reaches into his pocket and pulls out a business card.

Matt Anderson – “Here are my digits DJ, give me a call if your interested in leaving the Corporation and joining a group of winners.”

Matt Anderson flashes a smile at DJ whilst adjusting the shades on his face, before making his way away from the Victory Cup finalist, who is left to look over Matt Anderson’s business card and think over his offer.

With Crippler down on the mat, Von Drake wastes no time in making his way around to the legs of his opponent, before pulling Crippler across into a boston crab submission hold! The fans boo the hold as Crippler desperatly reaches out in an attempt to reach out to the ropes. Lucy Von Drake cheers her husband on from ringside as the referee asks Crippler if he would like to submit to the painful hold. However Crippler shakes his head before making one last ditch effort to make it to the ropes! There is a huge cheer as Crippler reaches out and grabs hold of the bottom rope. The referee tells Von Drake that he has to break the submission hold, however Von Drake quickly refuses to do so! There are even more boos all around the arena for the sVo newcomer, as after nearly a minute the referee finally makes Von Drake release the hold at the threat of disqualifying him!

However the damage has already been done to Crippler as Von Drake cockily walks around the ring with his hands in the air, before making his way over to Crippler and kicking him hard as he tries to get up to his feet. Von Drake quickly signals for his finishing move as he pulls Crippler to his feet before positioning him for the cradle piledriver. However before Von Drake can execute the move on Crippler, he is hit with a backdrop from his opponent!

The fans cheer the surprise counter from Crippler, as both men are now down on the mat! Lucy Von Drake tries in vain to gather support for JVD from the outside of the ring, as both men slowly begin to pull themselves up to their feet on opposite sides of the ring.

Crippler and Von Drake stare each other down, before running towards each other. Crippler catches Von Drake with some stiff right hands to knock him backwards, before sending him down to the mat with a snap suplex. Rosh Ambo

The cameras catch a glimpse of “Beautiful” Bobby Dean and Roscoe Shame in a somewhat heated argument in the center of their locker room, with the door wide open. Shame, looking pissed, is screaming at Bobby while shaking his head as Bobby stands there with a cheeky grin on his face, listening to his partner rant and rave.

Shame : No! No! No! No way Bobby! I’ve worked too darn hard to just throw it all away with a silly game like Rosh ambo!

Bobby Dean : Come on buddy, don’t kid yourself!

Shame : What?

Bobby Dean : I was right there with you when you cheated me out of that pinfall last week! It’s the only fair way we can decide just who deserves this shot!

Shame : No way! Not a chance man!

Bobby Dean : Roscoe, if you don’t do this, I swear, tonight I will intentionally throw the match to those two bastards…

Shame : You wouldn’t!?

Bobby starts to laugh heartily as Shame looks on more than pissed if that’s possible.

Bobby Dean : Really!? Really!? You really think I wouldn’t throw a match? Are you willing to risk it, just for something so trivial?

Shame : Trivial!? It’s a shot at the World Title, what’s so trivial about that?

Bobby Dean : I’m not going to say it again Roscoe, it’s do or die time, right here right now!

Bobby raises his hand flat then places his fist on his open palm, ready for the child’s game of Rock : Paper : Scissor. Roscoe looking angry finally throws his hands up in frustration but in the end he mimics Bobby’s pose with his fist in his open palm just like Bobby. With their eyes locked on one another, the two simultaneously lift their fist and drop it down to their open palm, once, twice, three times then on the fourth time they each throw a variation of either a Rock, Paper, or Scissor but just as the camera zooms in to see the result Jeremiah Sloan steps into the frame.

???? : YES!

Sloan : What’s going on here?

SINGLE MATCH
Night vs. Rey Rosario

‘Last Resort’ hits the sound system and there is a mixed reaction from the crowd as the former Las Vegas Champion Rey Rosario steps through the curtain and make his way down the entrance ramp for tonight’s match. Rosario looks focused as he warms up on his way down to the ring, before climbing in through the ring ropes. Rosario bounces off of the ring ropes as he is introduced to the crowd, and his music begins to fade out.

A whisper…

“I’m dreaming…”

The distant chords of Deftones’ “Knife Party” cut through the PA as the arena lights cut completely. The Tron sparks to life as the words “I’m dreaming…” float onto it. As the song errupts the words are replaced by one.

A name.

” N I G H T “

An explosion of purple light as a man in a black mask appears. At least, the mask appears black at first, but on closer inspection it appears to be made of the night sky. The mask does not entirely cover the man’s head and a head of black dreadlocks stream out, tracing the man’s jaw.

The man stands at the top of the entrance ramp – motionless for a moment, his stance elegant and mysterious, giving away nothing of his motives. As the music swirls away, the man only known as Night begins his walk to the ring with his sVo World Championship belt – only, he doesn’t walk, it appears more of a graceful glide. Although he moves seemlessly, he moves deceptively quickly to the ring, sliding deliberately and headfirst into the ring.

Night hands his sVo World Championship belt to the referee, who hands it to the outside of the ring as the two competitors stare each other down. The referee takes a few seconds to run through a few last minute instructions to each men to keep the fight clean, before calling for the bell to be rung and this match to get underway! Night and Rosario make their way towards each other, and Rosario starts quickly with some right hands to the face of the sVo World Champion, obviously looking to make a big impression tonight. Rosario grabs hold of the arm of Night, and throws him into the ropes. Night bounces back into the ring, however he manages to counter the attempted move from Rosario and hit him with a facebuster in the middle of the ring.

Rosario staggers away from Night, who follows up on his opponent with a chop block to take away his legs. The fans cheer Night as he runs at Rosario as he tries to get to his feet, and drops him back down to the mat with a stiff clothesline to the face. The sVo World Champion wastes no time as he grabs Rosario and pulls the former Las Vegas Champion up. However Rosario seems eager to make an impression against Night, and he quickly takes down Night with a headlock takedown. Night springs back up to his feet, seemingly surprised by the move from Rosario, however Rosario follows up with a twisting forearm smash to Night.

Rosario makes his way quickly to Night and holds onto the ring ropes as he stomps away onto the sVo Champion. However Night soon pulls himself to his feet. Rosario slams his hands into the back of Night’s head with an axe handle smash, before taking Night down to the mat with a back suplex. The fans seem impressed with the offence from Rosario onto the World Champion, who tosses Night onto his back, before grabbing hold of his head and slamming it repeatedly down onto the mat!

Night looks groggy as he rises up to his feet, and Rosario takes advantage by sending Night into the corner of the ring. With Night leaning against the ring ropes, Rosario runs at him and connects with a big body splash in the corner of the ring. Night staggers out of the corner obviously hurting from the string of moves that Rosario has put together, and Rosario tries to top it off with a spinning suplex onto Night before making the cover onto the World Champion!

One,

Two,

No!

Rosario thought that he might score a massive upset right there, however Night managed to get a shoulder up off of the mat before the count of three and show just why he is the sVo World Champion!

Rosario grabs Night by the hair and pulls him to a standing position. Rosario then begins to punish Night with some painful chops across the chest to send him backwards into the ropes. However the chops seem to wake Night up, as he suddenly drops his shoulder before sending Rosario over his shoulder and out of the ring to the floor below! The fans cheer the move from Night as Rosario lands painfully on the unprotected floor. Night drops down to the mat before rolling out of the ring under the ring ropes to meet Rosario with some kicks on the outside as he tries to get up. Night eventually pulls Rosario to his feet and throws him against the security barrier, much to the delight of the fans at ringside.

The fans cheer Night on as he hits some big chops of his own across the chest of Rey Rosario, before pulling him away from the side of the security barrier. With Rosario looking unsteady on his feet, Nigh hoists him up into the air before dropping him down with a brainbuster onto the hard floor! The fans cheer for the move as it is shown as a replay on the sVo-Tron, as the referee orders both men to take it back into the ring! Rosario looks to be out cold on the outside as Night struggles to pull him up, before rolling him back into the ring. With Rosario now on the inside of the ring but down and out, Night climbs up onto the ring apron before slowly walking along and beginning to climb the turnbuckle!

The fans rise to their feet in anticipation of a high flying move from the sVo World Champion, as he finally reaches the top rope. With Night looking down on Rosario, he leaps from the top rope and lands a KIMURA fistdrop onto the former Las Vegas Champion!

The fans pop for the high flying move from the sVo World Champion, who himself struggles over the body of Rosario to make the cover.

One,

Two,

NO!

Everyone in the arena thought it was all over right there, but SOMEHOW Rosario has got his shoulder up off of the mat before the three count! Night immediately makes another cover on Rosario, but once again the referee only gets to the count of two before Rosario kicks out! Night shakes his head in disbelief as he rises to his feet and looks down at Rosario whilst wondering how on earth he managed to kick out!

Night grabs Rosario by the arm and hoists him up to a standing position. Again Rosario looks unsteady on his feet, and it is easy for Night to take him down to the mat with a fireman’s carry takedown. With Rosario down on the mat, Night quickly wraps himself around him to lock in the ‘Dream Time’ on the former Las Vegas Champion!

Rey Rosario looks to be fading fast under the pressure from the submission hold from the sVo World Champion, as the fans cheer him on. However as Rosario looks as if he is going to have to submit to the move, there is a boo from the crowd as Rosario’s Corporation team mate DJ is seen sprinting down the entrance ramp! DJ slides into the ring and pushes the referee down to the floor! With the referee down and hurting, DJ pulls Night off of Rosario and then drills him down to the mat with a big DDT! The crowd boo DJ, but the finalist of the Victory Cup begins to put the boots into the sVo World Champion, obviously trying to get the upper hand should he progress to meet Night in the main event of the Ultimate Victory PPV!

As DJ stomps away on Night, the camera switches to the entrance ramp, where James Von Drake runs down to the ring!

Von Drake slides into the ring, and swings DJ around. Von Drake nails into DJ with some big right hands to send him backwards, before kicking him in the midsection! DJ doubles over and Von Drake drills him down to the mat with the ‘Dollar Drop’! With Von Drake and DJ set to meet in the final of the Victory Cup, both men are getting their shots in early! The crowd actually begin to cheer the usual hated figure of Von Drake as he rises to his feet after stopping the beat down of the World Champion, as Night slowly begins to rise to his feet. Night looks across at Von Drake with a begrudging respect for helping him out during the Corporation beatdown…… however Von Drake suddely springs forward and nails the ‘Dollar Drop’ on Night as well! Boos once again ring out around the crowd as Von Drake flips off the fans before rolling under the bottom rope and making his way back up the entrance ramp!

Back in the ring Rey Rosario slowly crawls across the downed body of Night, as the referee begins to get to his feet…..

One,

Two,

No!

Just when it looked like Night was about to get screwed out of this by both finalists of the Victory Cup, he manages to kick out! The fans cheer the kick out from the World Champion, as Rey Rosario slowly climbs back to his feet. Rosario pulls Night up and throws him into the ropes, before taking him down to the mat with a big powerslam. Rey Rosario then begins to stomp away on Night before allowing him back to his feet. Rosario positions Night for a suplex, however as he pulls him up into the air, Night manages to drop down behind Rosario with an amazing counter! Night pushes Rosario forward, before taking him down to the mat with a Sandman DDT as he turns around!

The fans cheer the signature move from the World Champion, he slowly stalks Rey Rosario who is slowly trying to rise to his feet after the painful move from Night. Rosario staggers back up, but as he does he walks straight into ‘The Dreaming’ from Night to drill him down to the mat! With Rosario down, Night makes the cover.

One….

Two….

THREE!

It’s all over, and despite interference from DJ & JVD, it’s the sVo World Champion Night who just manages to sneak a win over the former Las Vegas Champion Rey Rosario! The referee raises Night’s hand in the air as he celebrates his victory, knowing that whoever wins the final of the Victory Cup next week, he has someone gunning for his title at the Ultimate Victory PPV!

RESULT: Night def. Rey Rosario via pinfall

Company Offer Pt.2

Backstage in the Von Drake locker room, the mood is obviously good and the champagne is flowing after JVD’s victory over Crippler earlier in the night which saw himself book a place in the Victory Cup final match next week against DJ, with the winner earning themselves a main event place against Night for a shot at the sVo World title at the Ultimate Victory II PPV on the 8th of August. Both JVD and Lucy Von Drake have a glass of champagne in their hands, and they clink there glasses in a toast before beginning to drink. However the celebration is momentarily halted by a knock at the door. JVD looks cautiously over to the door, before walking over and opening it.

Matt Anderson – “Ah Mr Von Drake. Nice to finally meet you.”

Matt Anderson stretches out his hand, and JVD reluctantly shakes it, seemingly annoyed that the Company man has interrupted his celebration. Matt Anderson steps past JVD uninvited, and walks into the locker room.

Matt Anderson – “Ah the lovely Lucy Von Drake as well, nice to meet you too young lady.”

The Company man smiles at Lucy Von Drake whilst walking over and pouring himself a glass of champagne.

Matt Anderson – “I love champagne…. you don’t mind do you?”

James Von Drake stares at Anderson helping himself to his bottle of expensive champagne as he walks over and stands next to his wife.

JVD – “What do you want buddy?”

Anderson raises his glass in the air in a toast, before knocking it back in one hit.

Matt Anderson – “As you have had such a storming start to your sVo career, I thought it was only right and proper that I came in here and introduced myself to you guys. That was a pretty impressive match out there tonight against Crippler. From what I saw, you got what it takes to beat not just DJ next week, but beat Night at the PPV as well.”

Von Drake nods his head in agreement, as if it was something he knew already.

James Von Drake – “I think it would be an upset if I was to lose to either of those chumps.”

Anderson smiles to himself whilst reaching into his pocket and pulling out a business card.

Matt Anderson – “I represent the Company, you might have heard of us since joining up here. We are always on the look out for new talented winners to join our ranks. If it’s something your intrested in, give me a call.”

Matt Anderson makes a ‘phone’ gesture with his hand, before handing the card over to Lucy Von Drake, and making his way slowly out of the room. With both Victory Cup finalists now tapped up by the Company, it looks as if the group are desperate to have a representative in the Ultimate Victory main event to take the title from Night!

sVo INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS MATCH
Pat Fullam vs. Raven

‘Sinner’ by Drowning Pool hits the sound system, and there is a mixed reaction from the fans as the Corporation entrance video hits the sVo-Tron. After a few seconds, the rainbow haired Raven steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp with his arms raised in the air. Raven slowly walks down the long entrance ramp with a grin on his face as he slaps the hands of the fans at ringside. Raven does a whole lap of the ring, before rolling in under the bottom rope. Raven walks around the ring for a few seconds, before climbing to the second rope of the nearest turnbuckle and raising his hands high in the air.

The arena goes black and the tron flickers on. In icy blue writing the words,

Lo as I walk through the valley of shadow and death
I fear no evil…
For I am the biggest and baddest guy around.

“Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)” by Digable Planets starts to play over the sound system. The writing on the tron fades away as blue sparks flare out on the stage. As the sparks die down the one and only “The Coolness” Pat Fullam comes out on stage. The tron flickers to life once again with clips of all of the 7’2″ giant’s time in the ring throughout the various federations he’s been in.

He tosses up the metal head salute as he begins to walk down to the ring to the beat of “Rebirth of Slick.” Making it to the ring he reaches up and grabs the top rope, pulling himself up onto the apron and stepping over the top rope. He swaggers to the center of the ring and tosses his hair back before giving one final metal head salute as the music fades.

There is a high level of anticipation in the Goodfellas Casino arena tonight as the referee calls for the bell to be rung, and this one gets underway! Raven quickly makes his way towards Pat Fullam, however he is quickly grabbed by the giant and thrown into the corner of the ring. Pat Fullam exerts some early dominance on the match with some big rights and lefts into the upper body of his opponent, before dragging him out of the corner of the ring. Pat Fullam pulls Raven up into the air, before slamming him down to the mat with a big spinebuster. The fans boo the massive move from the giant Pat Fullam as he struts around the ring.

Raven slowly climbs up to his feet holding his back in pain, however as Pat Fullam lunges forward to try and grab hold of Raven, the Corporation member ducks under his arms before hitting a diving dropkick into the knees of Pat Fullam. Fullam stumbles forward, and Raven bounces into the ropes before running at Fullam and hitting him with a chopblock to try and cut down the big man. Raven rises back up to his feet with a shocked look on his face, however he is drilled down to the mat with a stiff scoop slam from Fullam. With Raven down on the mat, Pat Fullam struts around the ring as if he owns it, whilst waiting for Raven to get to his feet. Raven runs at Pat Fullam, however ‘The Coolness’ is there and waiting for him with a big boot to the face of the Corporation member! With Raven down on the mat, Pat Fullam makes the cover.

Raven manages to get a shoulder up off of the mat before the three can be counted.

Pat Fullam looks angrily at the referee as he drags Raven up to his feet and tosses him into the ropes. Raven bounces back from the ropes and Fullam slams him down to the mat with a big powerslam. Raven lays on the mat in pain as Pat Fullam towers over him for a few seconds, before choking him out with his boot! The referee demands that Fullam break the hold on Raven, however the giant refuses, until finally releasing his boot from the throat of Raven and pulling him up to his feet. Raven stumbles to try and get away from the grip of Fullam, but ‘the Coolness’ is right back onto his opponent with a kick to the midsection, followed by a huge powerbomb to throw him down to the mat!

The crowd loudly boo Pat Fullam as he stares out at the crowd. Fullam looks to be heading to his second sVo win in a row as Raven lays motionless on the mat after the huge powerbomb from ‘the Coolness’!

However instead of going for the cover, it looks as if Pat Fullam is going to show off his skills and send a message to the rest of the sVo roster! Fullam drags the limp body of Raven up to his feet, before grabbing him around the throat! Fullam begins to pull Raven up into the air for the ‘Crippling Cool’, however out of nowhere Raven manages to reach out in desperation and rake the eyes of Pat Fullam! Fullam releases his hold on Raven and drops him down, whilst stumbling backwards holding his eyes in pain! Raven takes advantage with some big punches to the face of Pat Fullam, before bouncing backwards into the ropes and hitting a clothesline on Fullam! The big clothesline isn’t quite enough to knock the giant off of his feet, however Raven follows up the move with a kick to the midsection followed by a DDT onto Fullam!

Fullam staggers up to his feet holding his head in pain from the strong DDT from Raven, however the rainbow haired fighter is there and waiting for him with a ‘Hardcore Twist’ to send him down to the mat! sVo Showdown #49 – 25th July 2010
Featuring the Victory Cup Final
James Von Drake vs. DJ

Your Time Is Coming Soon

The locker room is completely dark, save from the glow of the TV set on in the corner of the ring which is showing the action from ringside. With Roscoe Shame and BBD about to take on the tag team of William Vorheez and Tripp Whipwreck, The Teacher is rocking back and forth on a chair in the middle of the dark room watching the action on the TV.

The Teacher looks agitated as in his hands he grips a ‘Mr International’ t-shirt whilst watching highlights of Roscoe Shame’s performance from last week which are being shown in the build up to this weeks main event.

‘You deserved to be taunt a lesson for your behaviour Roscoe…..’

The Teacher continues to mutter to himself in the darkened room in his agitated state. It is clear that The Teacher has some kind of problem with Roscoe Shame, but what is it? The Teacher suddenly tosses the shirt at the wall on the far side of the ring. The camera follows the flight of the shirt as it hits the wall…. a wall which is covered with pictures of Roscoe Shame! All the pictures seem to be snapped without Roscoe Shame knowing he was being watched, with several of them seemingly taken tonight! The Teacher has obviously been surveying Roscoe Shame for weeks now.

‘Just wait Roscoe…. your time is coming soon…..’

The scene fades out leaving The Teacher muttering to himself whilst watching the main event in the dark room.

sVo TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Bobby Dean & Roscoe Shame (c) vs. William Vorheez & Tripp Whipwreck

“Rebirth” by Lil Wayne hits and Roscoe Shame appears at the top of the ramp pretending to play the guitar. The fans stand and cheer at the mockery he is making of himself. He makes his way to the ring while pyros shoot out from the ramp. He climbs into the ring stretches and awaits his tag partner.

“You’re the Best” begins to play as the lights go down and a baby blue spotlight is shown at the top of the entrance ramp. BBD comes out to a chorus of boos in his baby blue Ric Flair-esque robe that is covered in sparkling diamonds. He struts his way down the entrance ramp refusing to touch the out stretched hands of fans at ringside. Walking up the steel steps, he wipes his feet off before stepping into the ring. Walking over to his corner he proceeds to remove his robe and warm up for the upcoming match.

Tripp and William are both already in the ring and wait patiently in their corners. Unfortunately for them, it looks to be a long wait; Bobby and Roscoe continue to saunter around the ring, shamelessly parading their tag team championships. Even after their entrance music fades out, they each climb opposite corners and hoist their glistening belts into the air, their golden plates sparkling in the camera flashes emanating from the crowd. Having grown tired of their endless display, the referee waves his hand to the timekeeper to ring the bell.

DING! DING! DING!

William and Tripp thunder across the ring like stampeding elephants, taking the fight straight to their opponents! Vorheez takes down Roscoe with a clubbing forearm blow while Tripp makes Bobby eat a little boot. The referee struggles to contain the fracas, and wedges himself in between the two teams. Red in the face and with a throbbing vein in his temple, the official orders for one challenger from each team to leave the ring. Tripp and Bobby voluntarily exit through the ropes and stand in their corners, Bobby nursing his jaw as he does.

William and Roscoe, both the larger men of their teams, circle each other cautiously. Tripp runs his hands through his beard on the outside with a hungered expression. Bobby, on the other hand, cheers on Roscoe like a cheerleader without pom-poms.

BBD: Come on, man! You can do it! Kick his ass!

The One Man Horror Show swings a wild clothesline at Roscoe, but the big man ducks underneath.

Hey guys – of all the matches I’ve wrote, how many clotheslines have actually hit their target?

Anyway – Vorheez spins round and instinctively ducks a return clothesline from Roscoe.

See what I did there?

Roscoe now spins round, and gets a knee lift right into the gut for his troubles! The tag team champion doubles over and William follows up with another forearm smash into Roscoe’s back! Shame falls to one knee but the relentless Vorheez quickly pulls him back up by the head. Dragging him into the centre of the ring, the Tattooed Terror grabs Shame by the wrist and yanks him into a wall-like shoulder block! Roscoe grits his teeth against the pain and tries to wrestle free, but Vorheez quickly pulls him right into another! Before Roscoe even has time to grunt, William takes him down with a short-arm clothesline and goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

Bobby ducks his head underneath the top rope.

KICKOUT!

For the moment, Beautiful Shame remains champions!

BBD: Yeah, I knew you’d kick out man! Nice one! OH SHI-

Vorheez races back from the ropes and leaps into the air to drop a massive leg across the windpipe of Shame! The hungry challenger hooks the leg once more.

ONE!

TWO!

Dean once again shoves his inflated head in between the ropes, also poking his leg through.

SHOULDER UP!

BBD: Woo, that’s my man! Knew you’d do it!

Shame shakes his head to himself as he claws his way to his knees. The Slasher of SVO approaches him, but Shame drills a hard shot into his ribcage! Spit flies from Vorheez’s mouth as he gasps for air. Roscoe follows up with several stiff body shots, punching away in order to retain his and Bobby’s titles! William drops to his knees just as Roscoe springs to his feet with a burst of adrenaline. Shame slams his fist into William’s temple before racing off the ropes and nailing him with big boot, causing the kneeling Vorheez to crumple like an accordion! William crawls towards Tripp with his hand outstretched, ready to make the tag.

Shame quickly intervenes and slams an angry boot into William’s forearm, almost breaking it in half! William retracts his arm in pain as Roscoe drags him by his legs back into the middle of the ring. Turning Vorheez onto his chest, Shame hurls himself into the ropes once more. On the rebound, he leaps into the air (causing an eclipse in the process) and comes crashing down on his opponent’s spinal chord with a brutal splash! William arches his back and slams a fist into the canvas, overcome with pain.

Shame smirks to himself and motions to the crowd that the tag titles aren’t going anywhere. The crowd heckle him and give him a motion of their own which includes the use of their digits. Roscoe shrugs it off and tags in the eager-looking ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Dean. The second half (or probably first half if you asked him) of the tag team champions bravely steps into the ring as his opponent still writhes on the mat.

Bobby feigns preparation, rubbing his hands together and wearing a focused expression and incurring a considerable amount of heat as he does so. Having mentally prepared for the daunting task ahead, Dean proceeds to literally kick the ever-living shit out of his downed opponent. He swings his leg back before dealing out each cowardly shot, kicking every last inch of Vorheez’s body. Vorheez tries to nurse each damaged limb but very quickly runs out of arms as Bobby continues to lay the leather into him.

Dean finally stops the impromptu boot camp and staggers back into the ropes, comically bending over to catch his breath.

Fan: Fuck you, Bobby!

BBD: You wish, jackass!

Bobby flashes a shit-eating grin at the incensed fan and turns his attentions back to Vorheez.

BBD: … Fuck my life.

The Horror Show is back to his feet, and flecks of spit fly across the ring as he seethes with rage! Vorheez tears across the ring and grabs Dean by the head, jamming his fingertips into his scalp so hard he almost produces a fistful of bleach-blonde hair! Vorheez lines up his shot and throws Bobby into the corner with such force that he himself slams hip-first onto the canvas!

The ‘Beautiful’ One collides into the turnbuckle with the force of a runaway train, producing a mushroom cloud! Well, a mushroom cloud of accumulated dust on the padding, anyway. Bobby flips upside-down upon contact, now lying in a twisted mess on top of the corner. The rejuvenated Vorheez makes the tag to Tripp, much to the delight of the fans! The Bearded Beast tugs at his trophy-winning facial hair, his eyes bulging in their sockets.

Shame: Bobby, tag me in! Get your plastic ass over here!

The lights are on but nobody’s home. Bobby, still trapped on top of the turnbuckle, sees what awaits him and quickly tries to free himself. Tripp quickly makes his way over to the champion and smiles devilishly as he draws close to him. Bobby tries to scream in terror, but his testicles have probably retreated into his abdomen. Tripp grabs the ropes and encourages the fans to count along.

ONE!

Whipwreck yanks on the ropes playfully as Bobby pleads with him.

TWO!

Dean places his hands together and starts praying that he survives what’s about to happen.

THREE!

Tripp tugs the steel cable ropes as though they were elastic bands, catapulting Dean from the corner into the centre of the ring! Whipwreck shakes the ropes Warrior-style and pulls at his beard with a maddened look in his eyes, sending the fans into frenzy! Could we crown new tag team champions tonight?!

Bobby scuttles along the ring desperately, but it seems that the impact from being thrown into the turnbuckle has had its effect.

BBD: Stop moving away from me, you dick!

Shame: What?! I’m not, you dumbass!

For every inch of ground Bobby manages to gain, the double-image of Roscoe seems to shrink into the distance twice as much. Dean gradually gets closer and closer to his teammate, their fingertips mere inches apart… Tripp steps on Bobby’s ankle! Bobby looks around in confusion, still seeing stars. The fans cheer Tripp on as he sabotages Bobby’s attempts to exit the ring. Dean realises what’s happening and grabs Tripp’s boot, but the Bearded Madman is far too heavy for The ‘Beautiful’ One to shift the slightest bit. Tripp raises his arms into the air and mimes lifting weights, indicating that it’s time for the Kult Klassik!

He raises Bobby up, who still frantically fiddles with Tripp’s boots, and places his head between his thighs. Tripp makes a point of looking Roscoe right in the eyes and motioning to him that he can kiss the belts goodbye! Shame stomps up and down the length of the ring apron furiously, the pint-sized official doing everything he can to keep him behind the ropes! Still trapped between Tripp’s legs, Bobby groggily points over to Vorheez. Roscoe sweet-talks the referee and quickly jumps down from the apron…

TRIPP PICKS BOBBY UP ONTO HIS SHOULDERS!

KULT KLASSIK!

THIS ONE IS OVER!

HE TRIPS OVER?!

What the fuck? Whipwreck crashes down to the ring like a tranquilized bear! As all of this goes on, Roscoe yanks Vorheez down from his corner, jarring his jaw into the ring apron! William goes down and Shame stares into the ring, placing his hands behind his head and biting his bottom lip. Like a cat, Bobby manages to land on his feet from the attempted Kult Klassik and quickly hooks the legs of Tripp.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

What the hell is going on?! The referee calls for the bell, just as confused as those in attendance and watching at home.

Result: Beautiful Shame def. William Vorheez & Tripp Whipwreck via pinfall

Shame snatches the Tag Team Championship belts from ringside and slides in under the bottom rope. He looks at Bobby with an inquisitive expression on his face as he hands him his half of the titles. Bobby taps a finger against his temple and smiles at his tag partner. He then gazes into one of the cameras at ringside. He points to the camera and then to the feet of Tripp, who is still groggy on the canvas.

The camera zooms in on Tripp’s boots. Bobby tied his laces together! No wonder he tripped and couldn’t kick out! Of all the finishes to happen recently – including KO by hat – this may take the biscuit!

The fans pump their fists in the air and boo Beautiful Shame as they celebrate in the ring, feeling cheated of not seeing Vorheez and Whipwreck win the titles.
