sVo Against All Odds
Goodfellas Casino Arena
Sunday 7th March 2021

The sVo logo fades on and then off of a black screen before ‘Venom’ by Eminem hits and the opening video package for ‘Against All Odds’ begins to play, featuring classic action with highlights from the likes of Psyko Stevo, Bobby Dean, Anthony Moretti, Roscoe Shame, William Vorheez, Nathan Paradine, JVD & Night.

As the package begins to come to an end, the live camera shows a shot of the outside of the Goodfellas Casino, sitting on the heart of the Las Vegas strip before heading inside and panning around the sold-out Goodfellas Casino Arena inside. Fireworks begin to shoot up from the top of the entrance ramp as fans jump out at the camera trying to get their face on TV as the atmosphere for tonight’s show continues to build, with the music playing over the arena’s sound system.

The camera swings around to see the commentary team of Julian Fiasco & Jeremiah Sloan sitting at ringside, before turning to show the giant screen at the top of the entrance ramp as some of the matchups for tonight’s show are shown. The fans cheer for their favourite and boo for the villains as the matchups for tonight are run down, ending with the main event which will see Gunner Lang take on Hiro Ryuu with the chance to fight for the Las Vegas Championship at the Countdown to Violence PPV on the line!

Second Chance

The cameras head backstage to the parking lot area under the Goodfellas Casino Arena where CJ Dreamer is arriving for tonight’s event! The fans cheer upon the sight of Dreamer on the giant screen, but there is a man waiting for Dreamer at the entrance to the arena, and that man is Orlando Fox.

Orlando Fox: “Cutting it fine my man, the show has already begun!”

Dreamer scowls at Fox, still remembering the events of the last episode of Against All Odds where Fox cost the pair the Tag Team match against Scott Washington and Yoshi Ono. Dreamer continues walking, not acknowledging Fox’s presence.

Orlando Fox: “Don’t be like that bro. I know last time out it didn’t go well, but I have another tag team match lined up for us tonight!”

The words of Fox stop Dreamer in his tracks, as he spins and looks at Fox as if he has just said the most offensive thing in the world.

CJ Dreamer: “You really think I am going to team up with you again? Last time out you cost me my chance at revenge over Washington, now I need to work my way up to facing that bastard!”

Fox tries to slow down Dreamer down and explain to him.

Orlando Fox: “Wait, wait. I have spoke to Page already and we have the chance to take on two of Page’s boys. The winners will be involved in a match with Washington & Ono at the PPV in two weeks! It’s another chance of revenge for the both of us!”

Dreamer stands and stares at Fox for a few seconds, trying to come to the decision of if teaming with Fox again is worth the risk to get another chance at his biggest enemy.

CJ Dreamer: “Ok, but this week you follow me lead!”

Dreamer pushes past Orlando Fox who looks slightly put out by the reaction, as the cameras head back to ringside for the opening match of the night.

Single Match
William Vorheez vs. Nathan Judge

The arena goes pitch black as the opening guitar riff from “Abominator” by Doyle plays. Smoke billows up from the bottom of the staging area, as green laser lights dance across the stage. Just as the opening riff comes to a close, two large hits of a drum can be heard, and pyro goes off syncing with them. The song dives in, as Vorheez makes his appearance at the top of the ramp. Wearing a long black, sleeveless coat, that has green stitching and it covered in small spikes, as well as a black, beat up, cowboy hat covering his eyes. Vorheez marches slowly down to the ring, his eyes fixated on the ring, looking determined, and focused. As Vorheez climbs onto the ring apron and climbs inside the ring the lights slowly come up and the music fades, Vorheez undoes his jacket and reveals the old sVo Championship underneath. Removing the belt he lifts it high in the air showing that he is the real reigning sVo Champion.

‘Night Crawler’ by Judas Priest hits the sound system and there are boos in the arena as Nathan Judge slowly emerges from the backstage area onto the top of the entrance ramp. Nathan Judge doesn’t look too happy with the reception he is receiving from the Vegas crowd as he stares out at the sea of people before slowly making his way down the entrance ramp towards the ring.

Judge slowly climbs into the ring between the ropes before walking around the perimeter and staring out at the crowd. The crowd continue to boo Nathan Judge as he stands tall in the ring looking ready for the match to begin.

Once again, William Vorheez forces the referee to hold the old sVo Championship belt in the air and for Natasha Ortiz the ring announcer to announce that the following match will be for the sVo Championship! The crowd cheer at the announcement and begin a ‘True Champ’ chant, as Nathan Judge licks his lips at the chance of a sVo Championship shot, despite not being against the official Champion!

The referee calls for the bell to be rung and the match is officially underway, with Vorheez and Judge trading big right hands in the middle of the ring. Vorheez lands a knee to the midsection of Judge to double him over, before grabbing him by the arm and sending him into the ring ropes, before landing a big boot to his opponents face as he bounces back. Judge rises up to his feet and fights back with some knife edge chops across the chest of Vorheez, but Vorheez cuts him off with a big elbow strike. Judge staggers backwards, and Vorheez follows up with a clothesline to knock his ‘challenger’ down to the mat.

The fans cheer Vohreez as he pulls Judge to a standing position, before throwing him hard into the nearest corner of the ring. Vorheez fires off on his opponent with some massive right hand strikes, before lifting him up onto a sitting position on the turnbuckle. The cheers continue as Vohreez hip tosses Judge off of the top of the turnbuckle, before diving down with a standing elbow drop. Vorheez quickly makes the cover, looking to get the early win.

One,

Two,

No! There is a mixed reaction from the crowd as Judge gets a shoulder up off of the mat before the three can be counted! Vorheez stares at the referee before rising up to his feet, and stomping away on his opponent. Judge struggles up to a standing position under the kicks from Vorheez, before Vorheez grabs him by the arm again and sends him into the ring ropes. Vorheez looks for a clothesline as Judge bounces back, but Judge ducks under the arm of his opponent and then takes him down with a double leg takedown! The fans boo as Judge follows up with some mounted punches before Vorheez is able to wrestle his opponent off of him.

Vorheez struggles to his feet and Judge follows up with some big right hands. Vorheez covers up to try and protect his face, but Judge takes the opportunity to take down his opponent with a massive spinebuster, before taunting to the crowd! Vorheez looks in pain from the big spinebuster, and Judge follows up with an impressive double underhook slam in the middle of the ring! The crowd continue to boo Judge, as he taunts Vorheez once again, before landing a snap powerbomb in the middle of the ring and diving down to make the cover!

One,

Two,

No!

It looked all over right there, but somehow Vorheez manages to kick out at the very last second and the match continues! Judge curses the two count from the referee, but doesn’t feel sorry for himself as he jumps up to his feet and grabs the legs of his opponent. The fans boo loudly as Nathan Judge twists over his opponent and locks him in an inverted cloverleaf in the middle of the ring!

The referee dives down to ask Vorheez if he wants to tap, but he shakes his head as the crowd boo loudly. Judge uses all his strength to apply pressure on the move, but Vorheez bravely begins to crawl to the bottom rope! Judge screams at his opponent to tap out, but to the delight of the crowd, Vorheez is able to reach out and grab the bottom rope! The fans boo loudly as Judge keeps the move locked on for the full five count before the referee threatens to DQ him!

Judge finally releases the hold and rises to his feet, ignoring the boos from the crowd. Despite not picking up the submission victory, Judge signals for the end of the match as he calls for his finishing move and stalks Vorheez as he begins to get to his feet!

Judge grabs hold of Vorheez and looks for the ‘Judgement Day’, but Vorheez has the move scouted and blocks! The fans cheer Vorheez on as he blocks yet another attempt from Judge, before countering with a double arm DDT in the middle of the ring! Judge staggers up holding his head in pain, but Vorheez follows up with a spinning spinebuster into the cover!

One,

Two,

The… No!

It looked like it was over there, but Judge gets a shoulder up at the last millisecond! Vorheez however doesn’t pause, as he grabs Judge by the hair and pulls him back up. Vorheez lands a Fisherman’s buster on Judge in the middle of the ring before signalling for his finish! Nathan Judge looks out on his feet as he struggles to his feet, only for Vorheez to lift him into the air and land the ‘Wrath of Vorheez’ in the middle of the ring! The fans cheer as Vorheez hooks the leg.

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and in a back and forth match between two powerhouses, it is William Vorheez who picks up his second victory in as many shows since his return! Vorheez staggers up to his feet knowing he has been in a tough match, and orders the referee to present him with the old Championship belt again! Vorheez lifts the belt in the air in celebration as the fans cheer him on and restart the ‘True Champ’ chant!

Winner via pinfall: William Vorheez

sVo Presents ‘Countdown to Violence 2021’
Live on PPV from the Goodfellas Casino Arena
21st March 2021

Backstage
Fight… Or Lose It All

The camera heads backstage to the office of sVo Owner Jon Page, where the Englishman is sitting behind his desk, wearing a dark suit as always. Page watches the celebrations of Vorheez on a screen on the far war with a smirk on his face. However the peace is soon broken as the office door swings open angrily, with Anthony Moretti and Joe Barone bursting into the office. Joe Barone stands silently by the door as Moretti marches over to Page’s desk and slams his sVo Championship and sVo Tag Team Championship belts down.

Anthony Moretti: “You see what this is?”

Moretti shouts angrily as he points at the sVo Championship belt.

Anthony Morett: “This is the gold that means I am at the top of the wrestling world. How can you let that fraud Vorheez parade around with that old belt out there week after week?”

Page relaxes back, a smirk still plastered over his face.

Anthony Moretti: “Well? What are you going to do about it?”

Jon Page: “What am I going to do about it? Shouldn’t the question be what are you going to do about it? You have a small army behind you and he is one man. Are you going to let him do that and call the sVo Championship into dispute?”

Moretti seems to be growing more angry with every word spoken by Page.

Anthony Moretti: “There is no dispute! I am the undisputed sVo Championship! That old man Vorheez can’t lace my boots!”

Jon Page: “Ok great, face him at Countdown to Violence and show there is no dispute over who can be champion….”

Anthony Moretti: “What? That old man doesn’t deserve a title shot! I have been here winning matches since the sVo returned! Vorheez can’t walk back in here and get a shot at this!”

Moretti again points angrily at the title belt.

Jon Page: “Oh I see. I didn’t realise you were worried about losing. I guess maybe I should book Vorheez in the main event to defend that belt he is walking around with in the main event?”

Moretti is now enraged.

Anthony Moretti: “What! No, I’m not scared! I will end that old man once and for all!”

Jon Page: “Great it’s settled then! Vorheez vs. Moretti at Countdown to Violence, winner is the undisputed sVo Champion!”

Page spins around a document that is on his desk, clearly already prepared, and hands a document to Moretti to sign. Moretti reluctantly takes the pen, before slowly scratching his signature on the document.

Anthony Moretti: “Wait, Vorheez has already signed this?”

Page smirks as he pulls out another document and places it in front of Moretti.

Anthony Moretti: “What the hell is this?”

Jon Page: “Well you will need to lend that pen to your big friend over there as well for this one old chap. This is for your Tag Team Championship defence at the PPV. Against Washington & Ono and the winner of tonight’s Tag Team match between CJ Dreamer & Orlando Fox vs. two wrestlers of JD James’s choosing out of Horizon…..”

Anthony Moretti: “No way am I signing that! I already have to defend my sVo Championship!”

Jon Page: “You better hand over those belts then guys because the 100 days without defending them runs out two days after Countdown to Violence, which means if you don’t defend them beforehand you will be stripped of them….”

Moretti looks at Barone in panic, with the big man at a loss for words. Moretti finally signs his name on the paper before pointing at Barone and making him do the same.

Anthony Moretti: “This is bullshit Page. Defending two belts in one night? I want forget what you have done to me!”

Jon Page: “The price of being so successful kid. I know you want forget, just like how I haven’t forgotten what you did to me out in the middle of that ring all those months ago.”

Page continues to smirk as he takes the contacts from Moretti and files them in his desk. Page then leans back and places his feet on the desk, relaxing backwards, a plan well executed.

Jon Page: “Anything else lads?”

Moretti says nothing as he angrily scoops up the title belts from Page’s desk and storms out of the office, Joe Barone close behind him.

A spotlight searches around the crowd until it picks out The Teacher slowly making his way through the fans towards the ring. The Teacher leaps over the barrier and slides into the ring, ready to bring another wrong-doer to justice.

‘Viva Las Vegas’ by Metal Elvis hits the sound system and the crowd pop as the ‘Welcome to Las Vegas’ sign appears on the giant screen and pyros shoot up from both sides of the entrance ramp. After a few seconds the man himself, Johnny All-Star steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp and throws his arms in the air. All-Star makes his way through the pyros down towards the ring. All-Star salutes to the fans that cheer his name as he climbs into the ring and jumps to the second rope of the nearest turnbuckle. All-Star throws his arms in the air and gets even more cheers from his hometown fans.

The Teacher and Johnny All Star shake hands in the middle of the ring in a show of respect for each other which is cheered by the crowd, before tying up and trying to push each other backwards in a test of strength. The more powerful All Star pushes back his masked opponent, but The Teacher manages to grab the arm of his opponent and twist it into a wrist lock. All Star knocks the Teacher away with a back elbow, but the Teacher fights back with some stiff kicks to the legs of his opponent, before taking him down with a single leg shoulder throw.

The Teacher tries to lock in a double chickenwing, but All Star manages to struggle his way out of the submission hold before it is locked in. The Teacher and Johnny All Star circle around each other in the middle of the ring waiting for the other to make the first move, before All Star busts forward and spears The Teacher down to the mat in a show of power. All Star lands some mounted punches in, before the Teacher is able to roll free. The Teacher fights back with a crane kick on All Star, before bouncing into the ring ropes and landing a spinning heel kick to the face of All Star.

All Star looks in pain which allows The Teacher to land some spinning knife hand chops. The fans cheer All Star on, however the Teacher takes him down to the mat with a reverse sleeper hold slam before making a cover!

One,

Two,

No!

All Star powers out of the pinfall attempt and manages to save himself from losing two matches in a row upon his return to the ring! The fans cheer All Star on, but the Teacher senses the advantage as he rolls out of the cover attempt and locks on a underhook leg trap submission hold! The fans look concerned for All Star as he struggles to free himself, as the referee asks him if he wants to tap!

All Star looks worried as he struggles to get out of the submission hold, with The Teacher showing no sign of letting up! All Star seems to build momentum off of his home town crowd chanting his name, and manages to summon enough strength to power out of the submission hold and land some right hands to The Teacher! Johnny All Star stumbles up to his feet, but the Teacher is straight back on him with a swingblade! The Teacher looks like he is still building momentum as he follows up with a reverse DDT on All Star, before making his way to the top rope!

The fans rise to their feet as The Teacher stands on the top rope and taunts to the crowd. The Teacher leaps off of the turnbuckle looking for his finishing move ‘Top of the Class’, but All Star manages to get his knees up and drive them into the chest of his opponent!

The Teacher rolls around on the mat in real pain, as Johnny All Star uses the ring ropes to claw himself up to a standing position. All Star looks out of breath and in pain, but he seizes the advantage to stomp away on his injured opponent! Johnny All Star pulls The Teacher up to a standing position, and throws him into the corner of the ring before opening up on his midsection with some massive right hands. The Teacher tries to cover up, but looks in real pain as All Star pulls him away from the ropes and follows up with a gut buster!

Johnny All Star looks in firm control of the match as The Teacher squirms around on the mat, the referee checking with the masked man to see if he is ok to continue. The Teacher nods that he wants to continue, but All Star quickly seizes on this and pulls him to his feet, before landing the ‘All Star Stunner’ in the middle of the ring! The fans cheer for the finishing move from the former International Champion, as he hooks the leg and makes the cover.

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and Johnny All Star picks up the impressive victory! The referee raises the arm of All Star in the air in victory, but All Star only celebrates briefly, before checking on the condition of his opponent who is in obvious pain. The medics make their way down to check on the Teacher as Johnny All Star climbs out of the ring and begins to make his way backstage, half celebrating and half concerned for his opponent.

Winner via pinfall: Johnny All Star

Live from the Goodfellas Casino Arena
4th April 2021

Backstage
Back On Form

The cameras head backstage after the impressive victory for Johnny All Star, as the man himself walks through the Gorilla position and towards the ‘Horizon’ locker room. Hot on the tails of All Star is Katie Smith, the sVo’s roving reporter who as always has a microphone in her hand and a camera crew in tow.

Katie Smith: “Johnny, a quick word if you don’t mind!? How important was that win for you out there tonight?”

All Star looks tired after the match up as he wipes the sweat from his face and drinks from a water bottle whilst walking, not slowing down for Smith.

Johnny All Star: “That was a big one, I know what an opponent The Teacher is from his history in the sVo so knew it was going to be tough to get back to winning ways out there.

Katie Smith: “It looks like he might have been injured out there, is that something you feel bad about or just part of the wrestling business?”

Before All Star can answer the question, he turns the corner of the backstage area and walks straight into a right hand from Money Malone that knocks him down to the floor! Malone continues the surprise attach with some stomps to the face of All Star, as Smith runs away in terror.

The cameras however stay focused on the attach, as Money Malone pulls a wad of dyed red dollar bills from his pocket and drops them down onto All Star, who is holding his face in pain and gasping for air. Malone laughs, before slowly backing away from the scene as help arrives in the form of some officials. The officials check on Johnny All Star as the scene fades out.

Tag Team Match
Orlando Fox & CJ Dreamer vs. Darwin Jones & Hugo Ryzing

Boyz-N-Tha-Hood by Eazy E hits the sound system and the fans boo as Orlando Fox slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp. Fox, the former Hardcore Champion raises his arm in the air as he walks down towards the ring whilst staring out members of the audience at ringside. Fox soon rolls into the ring under the bottom rope and steps onto the bottom rope before performing his signature taunt to the crowd, which brings out even more boos for Fox!

‘Break Stuff’ by the Limp Bizkit blasts over the sound system as CJ Dreamer slowly walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp and stares out at the fans packed into the Goodfellas Casino Arena. Dreamer smirks at his hometown fans who are baying for his blood as he stops for a few seconds to signal to the fans, before briskly walking down the entrance ramp and rolling into the ring. Dreamer quickly rolls to his feet and skips in a circle around the ring whilst shadow boxing. Dreamer slowly returns to his corner of the ring as the music fades out and is replaced with the sound of just the boos from the fans.

The arena lights dim as the V-Tron goes dark and several different colored gases start swirling in the middle. As the gases swirl faster the arena is rocked with an explosion from the V-Tron and pyro exploding from the ramp. The swirling gases are replaced by a spinning earth and ‘Evolution’ by Clawfinger fills the arena. The earth continues to spin as pictures of mankind’s greatest accomplishments and tragedies emanate from the spinning globe.

A Cro-Magnon man starts to walk forward evolving with every step it makes raising its arms out to the side, finally ending with Darwin Jones walking forward with his arms spread wide blocking out the view of the earth. Pyro explodes on the entrance ramp as Darwin Jones appears on the entrance ramp arms spread wide. He takes his time to the ring working the crowd into a frenzy. Sliding into the ring he pulls himself up into a corner still working for the crowd.

“Keep on Swinging” by Rival Sons floods the sVo arena as some pyro goes off. Hugo Ryzing makes his way out onto the entrance ramp, a hoodie covering his head; he pauses for a moment and then makes his way down to the ring bobbing his head to the rhythm throwing some practice punches and taking time to look at the crowd. He pulls himself up into the ring and makes his way to the center throwing his head back revealing his face and throwing his arms up into the air. He scrambles and pulls himself up into a corner taking off his hoodie throwing it into the audience and once again throws his arms up into the air before jumping down and preparing for the match.

Hugo Ryzing prepares to start the match off for Horizon, as there seems to be some disagreement between Orlando Fox and CJ Dreamer over who should start the match off for their team. In the end, Dreamer wins the argument and the referee calls for the bell as Dreamer and Ryzing circle around each other in the middle of the ring.

Dreamer lands some big right hands to Ryzing, before Ryzing throws a right in the direction of the former Tag Team Champion. However Dreamer ducks under the arm of his opponent, before grabbing him around the waist. Dreamer looks for a German suplex on Ryzing, but the big man knocks him off with a back elbow strike before bouncing into the ring ropes and landing a big boot to knock Dreamer down to the mat. Ryzing smirks at the impressive move as he taunts to the crowd, whilst pulling Dreamer up to his feet.

However Dreamer seizes on the small hesitation from Ryzing, and lands some big right hands to knock the big man. Dreamer takes Ryzing down to the mat with a single arm takedown, before landing some mounted elbow strikes. The elbow strikes seem to have enraged the big man, as Ryzing rolls up to his feet and tries to grab hold of Dreamer, but Dreamer is too quick and ducks out of the way of Ryzing before taking him down to the mat with a dragon screw takedown!

The fans cheer CJ Dreamer on, but Hugo Ryzing looks angry as he rises up to his feet. Ryzing reluctantly makes the tag out to Darwin Jones who calls to his opponent, and CJ Dreamer looks up at the even bigger opponent getting into the ring with him.

Dreamer quickly lands some kicks to the legs of Darwin Jones to try and slow him down, but Jones seems to absorb the blows before bursting forward and knocking down his opponent with a short arm clothesline! Dreamer slowly stumbles up to a standing position after the tree trunk like clothesline from Jones, but Jones is on hand to land a Military Press Slam with ease! The crowd cheer the power of Darwin Jones, as he allows CJ Dreamer to get to his feet with a smirk on his face, before locking his massive arms around him in a bear hug!

Dreamer looks like he is having the air squeezed out of him as he scrambles to try and free himself from the grip of the massive Darwin Jones! Jones looks like he is ready to break Dreamer in two with the bear hug, before Dreamer lands some desperation head butts to his opponent, before stumbling back to his corner and making the tag out to Orlando Fox!

Fox seems reluctant to get into the ring with Darwin Jones, but eventually climbs in and lands some right hands to his opponent. Darwin Jones fights back with a knee to the midsection, before lifting up Orlando Fox and sending him back down to the mat with a powerbomb! The former Hostility man taunts to the crowd, before bouncing off of the ring ropes and landing a running big boot to the face of Orlando Fox, before making the tag out to Hugh Ryzing!

Ryzing leaps into the ring full of momentum, and lands a running bicycle kick to Fox as he begins to get up! Ryzing lifts Fox up to his feet and then lands a massive forearm upper cut to the former Hardcore Champion. Fox staggers backwards, and Ryzing lands a striking spear before making the cover!

One,

Two,

No! CJ Dreamer is in at the last second to stop the three count from happening! The referee orders Dreamer out of the ring as Ryzing climbs to his feet looking pissed at not getting the three count. Ryzing makes the tag back out to Darwin Jones, as Dreamer reaches out desperately for Fox to tag him in!

Fox slowly pulls himself up to a standing position and begins to stumble towards his own corner, but instead of tagging out he seems to have a change of heart and run at Darwin Jones! CJ Dreamer looks furious as Darwin Jones sees Fox coming, and hits an ‘Apex Plex’! The fans are on their feet for the big move as Darwin Jones calls for the end! Jones pulls Fox up into the air and lands the ‘Big Bang Theory’ in the middle of the ring! Darwin Jones makes the cover as CJ Dreamer angrily looks on, making no move to break up the cover.

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and it is a big win for Horizon as Darwin Jones and Hugo Ryzing continue their impressive winning start to the year! Jones and Ryzing high five and celebrate the victory in the middle of the ring, as CJ Dreamer stands motionless on the ring apron, angrily staring straight at his tag team partner!

Winners via pinfall: Darwin Jones & Hugo Ryzing

Ringside
End of the Line

As Darwin Jones and Hugo Ryzing finish up their celebrations and make their way back up the entrance ramp, knowing that they have a shot at the sVo Tag Team Championships in the bank, CJ Dreamer stands motionless on the ring apron still, staring a hole through Orlando Fox as he slowly begins to get to his feet.

Dreamer slowly climbs into the ring and begins to circle around Orlando Fox, his fists clenched in anger.

Fox tries to explain to Dreamer however CJ Dreamer doesn’t seem to want to hear it, as he suddenly stops pacing around and snaps forward, taking Fox down with a ‘Sweet Dreams’ in the middle of the ring!

The fans cheer for the move from Dreamer, as he stares down at Fox for a few seconds with a look of disdain on his face, before climbing out of the ring and making his way backstage!

Match Made

The camera heads backstage to the interview area where Katie Smith is standing by, microphone in hand, alongside Amy Page. Page, the sister of the sVo Owner and the manager of Scott Washington and Yoshi Ono looks like she would rather be anywhere else in the world than answering the questions of the sVo’s leading backstage reporter.

Katie Smith: “Amy Page, thank you so much for joining us here tonight!”

Amy Page: “Let’s get this over with please Katie, my boys are not in action tonight so I am only here to scout out the opposition.”

Smith awkwardly nods her head as if she was expecting the scolding.

Katie Smith: “Well it was announced earlier that your team of Scott Washington and Yoshi Ono will get a title shot at Countdown to Violence as one team in a triple threat Tag Team Championship match. What are your thoughts heading into this match of your chances of walking out with the gold?”

Amy Page: “Well first off I am not happy that this is a triple threat. Darwin Jones & Hugo Ryzing have done nothing to earn their way into this match, but they are young and inexperienced and have no chance anyway, so they will have no chance. Now Moretti and Barone are an impressive team, but Moretti has two matches in one night, so his attention will be split. That means there will only be one outcome at Countdown to Violence, and that means a new set of sVo Tag Team Champions in the form of Scott Washington and Yoshi Ono!”

Page smirks at the camera before holding her hand up to Katie Smith to stop her asking any more questions, and walking carefully away from the interview area.

Single Match
Dallas Jordan vs. Money Malone

The upbeat “Living In America” by James Brown hits the sound system and the fans in the arena cheer as the arena is basked in a red, white and blue glow. After a few seconds the energetic Dallas Jordan steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp and throws up a salute to the crowd. ‘The Patriot’ quickly makes his way down the entrance ramp whilst slapping hands with fans at ringside, before climbing into the ring. “The Champ is Here” by O Fresh hits the sound system, and boos ring out as the arena is basked in a dull red glow. After a few seconds the boos get louder as Money Malone steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp wearing a ‘Blood Money’ t-shirt and holding a roll of dyed red dollar bills in his hand. Malone taunts at the top of the entrance ramp, before slowly walking down towards the ring. Malone throws the red dollar bills into the crowd before slowly climbing up into the ring and taunting on the middle as the music slowly fades out.

The referee calls for the bell to be rung, and Malone quickly rushes across and lands a cheap shot to the face of Dallas Jordan. Malone pulls Jordan away from the ropes and lands a quick snap suplex, before going for the early cover.

Jordan rises up to his feet but is nailed with a forearm shot to the face from Malone, who looks in firm control of the match up. With Jordan on the mat, Malone locks on a crossface submission hold to look for the submission victory!

The fans boo the move from Malone, but Jordan has enough about him to edge closer to the ring ropes before grabbing hold of the bottom rope causing the rope break. Malone angrily looks at the referee, before rising up to his feet and stomping away on the shoulder of his opponent. Malone taunts to the crowd before flipping them off, causing even louder boos. Malone then turns his attention back to his opponent, pulling ‘The Patriot’ up to a standing position. Malone aims to Irish whip his opponent into the ring ropes, but Jordan counters and sends Malone into the ropes! Malone looks surprised as he bounces back into the middle of the ring, and Jordan takes him down with an overhead throw!

Malone fights back with some back elbow strikes on Jordan, before using a standing switch to grab his opponent in a waist lock of his own! Malone stands with his foot on the face of Jordan, and raises his arm in the air in victory! Is there any stopping Blood Money with the likes of Money Malone in its ranks?

Winner via pinfall: Money Malone

Ringside

Revenge

Boos continue to ring out around the arena as Money Malone cockily makes his way back up the entrance ramp, taunting the fans at ringside as he goes. Malone reaches the top of the entrance ramp and turns to flip off the fans once last time before disappearing around the curtain, however as he does there is a pop as from out of the curtain steps Johnny All Star, a bloodied bandage wrapped around his head!

Malone turns around and walks straight into All Star! Malone stumbles backwards in shock, before All Star begins to lay into him with right hands!

The fans cheer as All Star continues to lay into Malone with right hands, avenging the attack earlier in the night, before Malone is able to scramble into the crowd!

The security guards grab hold of Johnny All Star and restrain the former International Champion as Money Malone makes his escape through the booing crowd!

sVo Presents ‘Countdown to Violence 2021’
Live on PPV from the Goodfellas Casino Arena
21st March 2021

Backstage
2 Against 1

The camera heads backstage to the locker room where Jupiter James and Ida Guildress, two of the new young talents introduced to the sVo over the last few months are sitting on steel folding chairs. Despite not being dressed for battle tonight, James and Guildress both look in happy moods as they laugh together.

Ida Guildress: “I was honestly surprised that the match was booked!”

Jupiter James: “Lucy has been pissing Jon Page off for months now with her sharp tongue. Plus since then joined Blood Money the Von Drake’s are not exactly on his good side!”

Guildress nods her head in agreement, the dark hair of the English star falling down over her face.

Ida Guildress: “True, true. But even so, it’s going to be my first time on PPV so I am pretty nervous about it!”

Jupiter James: “Don’t worry! We will deal with Lucy first and get some revenge for what she has done over the last month or so, and then it will come down to you and me, let the best lady win!”

James rises up to her feet and high fives Ida Guildress before making her way towards the locker room door.

Jupiter James: “Let’s steal the show and make sure the women of the sVo have the best match on the card!”

Guildress watches Jupiter James leave the room with a smile, before her smile turns into an evil smirk as she disappears around the door.

Remember Your Roots

With only moments to go until the main event, the camera again heads backstage where in the parking lot William Vorheez is making his way out of the arena. Vorheez has his old sVo Championship belt in the grip of his left hand, pulling his luggage with his right as he walks through the corridor and then out of the exit into the parking lot. However before Vorheez can make his way to his ride, a familiar voice from his past calls him back.

“Hey wait up!”

Vorheez slowly turns and comes face to face with Amy Page, dressed in a smart business suit and playing with her long blonde hair in a playful manner.

Amy Page: “Not sticking around to see the main event?”

Vorheez stares back at Amy Page, a blank look on his face.

Amy Page: “I don’t blame you, with you getting that title match at Countdown to Violence I bet you had a target on your back by the whole roster, not least Moretti & Blood Money!”

Vorheez against remains silent, only moving to tighten his grip on the title belt in his hand.

Amy Page: “Maybe you will remember who helped you get that title in the first place back in 2013? Maybe you should remember who helped you keep hold of it, back at the Countdown to Violence in 2013 if I remember rightly?”

Vorheez says nothing.

Amy Page: “Maybe you should remember who could help you get your hands on the real title in 2021 instead of running around with that relic…. Something to think about.”

Amy Page smiles a mischievous smile at Vorheez, before walking past him and gently squeezing his arm. Vorheez slowly turns and watches Amy Page leave, as the cameras head back to ringside for the main event.

sVo Las Vegas Championship #1 Contenders Match
Gunner Lang vs. Hiro Ryuu

‘Starman’ by David Bowie hits the sound system and the fans rise to their feet as the mysterious Hiro Ryuu slowly steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp. Ryuu drops to his knee and raises a finger in the air for a few seconds before slowly pointing his finger down towards the ring. Ryuu then rises to his feet and walks slowly to the ring and rolls under the bottom rope. Ryuu climbs to the second rope of the nearest turnbuckle and looks out at the crowd before backflipping to a standing position in the ring!

The familiar riff of AC/DC’s Thunderstruck fills the arena. As the pyro goes off on the entranceway Gunner Lang explodes onto the entrance ramp shooting off his own pyro from a gun while the sVo Tron shows Gunner and a band playing his entrance music. The fans are on their feet cheering and shout ‘Gunner’ along with the song. Gunner drops the pyro gun and runs down to the ring slapping hands with the fans and giving devil horns. He slides into the ring under the bottom rope and proceeds to take off his shirt and bandanna throwing them into the crowd.

Ryuu and Lang stare across the ring at each other, both men knowing that they will have to go through the other to get a shot at JVD’s Las Vegas Championship at the Countdown to Violence PPV! With both men having a recent victory over JVD, they both circle around each other as the referee calls for the bell to be rung! Gunner Lang still looks like he is limping after his beat down at the formation of Blood Money a month ago, however he starts his return to the ring well with some right hands to Ryuu.

The Japanese sensation fights back however with some stiff kicks to the legs of Gunner, before taking him to the mat with a single arm takedown. Hiro Ryuu works the arm of Gunner, before he is able to power himself out of the hold and rise to his feet. Hiro Ryuu runs at Lang looking for a running knee strike, but the former Las Vegas Champion ducks out of the way of his opponent before raking the back of his opponent.

Ryuu staggers around holding his back, and Gunner Lang takes him down to the mat with an impressive back suplex. Ryuu pulls himself up to his feet using the ring ropes, and as Gunner Lang looks for a big boot, Ryuu ducks out of the way! Ryuu fights back with a European Uppercut, before following up with a springboard dropkick that gets the fans off of their feet! Gunner Lang rolls to the outside of the ring to put some distance between himself and his opponent, clearly still not 100% after the beatdown by Blood Money!

Gunner Lang stumbles around the outside of the ring for a few seconds, before Hiro Ryuu decides to take the incentive and makes his way outside as well! Ryuu grabs Lang by the back of the head and slams him face first into the security barrier, before hitting a back body drop onto the concrete floor! Gunner Lang lays on the floor in agony, as Hiro Ryuu shows just how much he wants the shot at the Las Vegas Championship as he stomps away on Lang! The referee shouts at both men to get it back into the ring before slowly beginning the count to ten!

Ryuu pulls Lang up to his feet and goes to roll him back into the ring, but Lang counters with some back elbow strikes, before Irish whipping Ryuu had into the steel ring steps! Lang rolls back into the ring, as Hiro Ryuu struggles up to his feet on the outside of the ring. The referee’s count reaches eight, and Ryuu is finally able to roll into the ring to stop himself from losing due to count out. Gunner Lang takes the chance to stomp away on Ryuu as he lays on his stomach in the ring, before pulling him up to his feet. Gunner Lang lands some mounted punches on Ryuu in the corner of the ring, before pulling him away from the ropes and hitting a double axe handle to send Ryuu down!

The fans rise to their feet as Gunner Lang signals for his finishing move whilst stalking Hiro Ryuu! Ryuu slowly struggles up to his feet and Lang Irish whips him hard into the corner, but as Gunner Lang looks for the ‘Boomer-lang’ in the corner, Hiro Ryuu dives out of the way! Gunner Lang hits the turnbuckle hard, and Hiro Ryuu tries to seize on the advantage with a backdrop suplex!

Gunner Lang looks in trouble after that move, and Ryuu follows up with a bridging Tiger suplex!

One,

Two,

No! It looked like Ryuu might earn his title shot right there, but Gunner Lang somehow kicks out on two! Ryuu looks panicked that the move didn’t get the job done, as he sinks to the corner of the ring and seems to be thinking about his next move! Ryuu suddenly pulls himself up on the ropes and begins to stalk Lang!

Gunner Lang looks groggy as he rises to his feet, but as Hiro Ryuu looks for the ‘Toyko Sunrise’ Lang ducks under the arm of Ryuu before countering with an elevated gut buster! Ryuu staggers up in shock at missing his chance at his finisher, but Gunner Lang follows up with a Military Press Slam to keep the advantage! Ryuu rolls to the corner of the ring, feeling his chance slipping away, and tries to pull himself up in the corner, but Gunner Lang seizes the chance to hit the ‘Boomer-lang’ in the corner, followed up with a ‘Gunner-Struck’! The fans cheer for the big move from the Horizon member, as he makes the cover!

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and it is Gunner Lang who picks up the victory and the chance to not only regain the Las Vegas Championship, but also get revenge on JVD for the brutal beatdown he suffered last month in a singles match for the belt at the Countdown to Violence PPV! Gunner Lang staggers up to his feet, still feeling the effects of said beatdown, as the referee raises his arm in the air in victory!

Winner via pinfall: Gunner Lang

Ringside
Match Made

As Gunner Lang celebrates in the ring, the fans boo as JVD, the Las Vegas Champion, steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp with the belt over his shoulder and his wife by his side. Lang and JVD lock eyes, with Gunner shouting at Von Drake to get into the ring and fight so that he can get some payback on what transpired a month ago.

However Von Drake stays at the top of the entrance ramp, smirking as he lifts the Las Vegas Championship up into the air and stares down at Gunner Lang in the ring.

As Von Drake and Lang stare each other down from across the arena, the broadcast fades off of the air with the title match set in stone for Countdown to Violence in two weeks!
