Sunday 1st November 2020

‘Pretty Vegas’ by INXS hits and the opening video package for ‘Against All Odds’ begins to play, featuring classic action from the likes of Psyko Stevo, Bobby Dean, Roscoe Shame, Nathan Paradine & Night. As the package begins to come to an end, the live camera pans around the sold out Goodfellas Casino Arena in the heart of Las Vegas as fireworks begin to shoot up from the top of the entrance ramp. Fans jump out at the camera trying to get their face on TV as the atmosphere for tonight’s show continues to build. The camera swings around to see the commentator due of Johnny All Star & JD James smiling and sitting at ringside, before turning to show the giant screen at the top of the entrance ramp as some of the match ups for tonight’s show are shown.

Ringside

Back In Action

The fans in the sold out arena rise to their feet and cheer as “London Calling” by the Clash hits the sound system and the sVo Owner Jon Page walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp! Page is dressed in a dark suit and has a championship belt in each hand as he soaks in the cheers from the fans for the first time in years, before making his way down the entrance ramp and climbing into the ring. Page holds both of the championship belts in the air and parades them around the crowd, both easily identifiable to fans as the sVo Championship belt previously held by the likes of Night, Jay Wildman and Nathan Paradine, and also the sVo Las Vegas Championship, previously held by the likes of Roscoe Shame, James Von Drake & Bobby Dean.

Page hooks both the championship belts over the top ring rope in front of the hard camera before being handed a microphone by ring announcer Natasha Ortiz. Page waits for the loud chants of ‘SVO, SVO, SVO!” to die down before addressing the crowd!

Jon Page: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the sVo!!”

There is a loud cheer from the Las Vegas crowd packed into the Goodfellas Casino Arena.

Jon Page: “No I know after so many years away you all can’t wait for the action to get back underway so I won’t take up time out here talking!”

There is another cheer from the crowd.

Jon Page: “Now we have some exciting action lined up for you tonight with some big re-signings to the new sVo roster. You will see former Tag Team Champions Scott Washington and CJ Dreamer in action separately in singles action, as they take on former Hardcore Champion Orlando Fox and former Las Vegas Champion James Von Drake respectfully!”

Big pops from the crowd at the names mentioned by Page.

Jon Page: “However I am out here tonight to talk about the gold that you can see in front of you, the sVo Championship and the Las Vegas Championship…..”

Page waves his arm in the direction of the glistening championship belts, however before he can continue speaking Page is interrupted as ‘Woke Up This Morning’ by A3 hits the sound system! Page looks furious as onto the top of the entrance ramp, also dressed in a suit is Anthony Moretti! Moretti, who has a microphone in hand calls for his music to be cut quickly.

Anthony Moretti: “Wait a minute Page, you didn’t forget about me did you? My old man signed me to an iron glad sVo contract back in the day, so there is no sVo without the name Moretti attached to it!”

Page shakes his head, signalling that what the young Moretti is saying is true.

Anthony Moretti: “Now no one in the sVo has the experience I have had, no one fought in the main event of Showdown to challenge the likes of Psyko Stevo for the sVo Championship going all the way back to 2008….. So how about you just do the right thing and hand those championships over to me right now!”

The crowd boo loudly at the cocky Moretti, who stands at the top of the entrance ramp still.

Jon Page: “Listen junior, you I might be stuck with you here but if you think you are getting a handout then you are dead wrong! If you want to earn one of these belts then you can have a fair shot just like the rest of the boys in the back…. How about we take into account your history though and start you off in the main event!”

Moretti nods looking pleased with the main event spot, and the payday that would no doubt go with it.

Anthony Moretti: “You line em up and I will knock them down! Now who am I facing?”

Jon Page: “I have someone lined up, but I am sure someone as talented as yourself will have no problem preparing to take on a mystery opponent! Now let’s wrap this up and get the action started!”

Moretti begins to argue but Page signals for the microphones to be cut before making his way backstage. Page walks straight past Moretti as he continues to complain to the boss and ask who he is booked to face!

Single Match

Orlando Fox vs. Scott Washington

“My heart beat for the West Coast,
We grow the best on the West Coast,
We lowride on the West Coast,
So I’mma die throwing up the West Coast”

The fans are on their feet as ‘California Vacation’ by The Game hits the sound system and the lights in the arena dim. Golden sparks rain down from the top of the giant screen onto the entrance ramp as Scott Washington step through them and holds his arms in the air. The huge ‘O-Town Outlaw’ taunts to the crowd who boo loudly as he walks down the entrance ramp with his eyes focused on the ring. Scott Washington jumps up onto the ring apron before climbing into the ring and warming up in the corner of the ring for his upcoming battle.

“Cuz tha boyz in tha hood are always hard
Ya come talkin’ that trash we’ll pull ya cord
Knowin’ nuthin’ in life but tah be legit
Don’t quote me boy ‘cuz I ain’t said shit”

Boyz-N-Tha-Hood by Eazy E hits the sound system and the fans boo as Orlando Fox slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp. Fox, the former Hardcore Champion raises his arm in the air as he walks down towards the ring whilst staring out members of the audience at ringside. Fox soon rolls into the ring under the bottom rope and steps onto the bottom rope before performing his signature taunt to the crowd, which brings out even more boos for Fox!

Former sVo Hardcore Champion Orlando Fox stares across the ring at the former sVo Tag Team Champion Scott Washington as the referee calls for the bell to be rung and the match to get started! Both men stare each other down for a few more seconds, before Fox dives forward and lays into Washington with some stiff body punches. Fox looks like he has the upper hand over his bigger opponent, but Washington absorbs the blows before pushing Fox away and then knocking him down to the mat with a massive clothesline!

Fox staggers up to his feet looking stunned, and Washington lands some vicious knee blows to the side of his opponents head. Fox looks woozy as Washington lands a scoop slam in the middle of the ring, before bouncing into the ring ropes and landing a big elbow drop on his opponent in the middle of the ring. Washington rises up to his feet and soaks in the boos from the crowd, before relaxing against the ring ropes as he waits for his opponent to get to his feet.

Fox staggers up to a standing position, but he is grabbed around the waist by Washington who ejects his opponent backwards with a stiff German suplex. However instead of releasing his grip, Washington keeps his arms wrapped around the waist of his opponent and lands a second big German suplex! Washington repeats the move and lands a third German suplex in a row before rising up to his feet with a smirk on his face.

Orlando Fox is checked on by the referee who looks concerned about the welfare of the competitor, however Scott Washington doesn’t look like he is in the mood for mercy as he pushes the referee to one side and stomps away on his opponent. Fox looks like he might be out on his feet as he is pulled to his feet by his hair and then nailed with a belly to back suplex!

Fox is down and out on the mat, as Washington leaps down onto the former Hardcore Champion and locks in a crossface submission hold. The referee jumps down to check on Orlando Fox, but quickly sees that the lights are on but no one is home! The referee calls for the bell to be rung and Scott Washington is declared the winner after a dominating display!

The referee struggles for a few seconds to get the massive Washington to release the hold on Fox, but he eventually does so and rises up to his feet. The referee quickly raises his arm in the air in victory, before jumping down to check on the condition of Orlando Fox before gesturing to the back that he needs some help. Washington doesn’t look concerned with the medical team that comes running down the entrance ramp to check on his opponent, as he climbs to the second rope of the nearest turnbuckle and poses whilst soaking in the boos from the Las Vegas crowd.

Winner via TKO: Scott Washington

Preparation

After the dominating victory for Scott Washington over the former sVo Hardcore Champion, the cameras head backstage to the parking lot of the Goodfellas Casino Arena where rows of expensive looking cars are parked up. After a few seconds the lights of another car turn into the parking lot, and the cameraman tracks the arrival of a long black stretch limo as it pulls up to the backdoor to the arena.

After a few seconds the limo driver rushes around to the backdoor and opens it quickly, before James and Lucy Von Drake climb out of the limo.

Lucy Von Drake: “Are you fucking serious, the first night of the sVo return, you have one of the biggest stars on the sVo roster in the back of your limo and you are late??”

Lucy Von Drake berates the limo driver who hangs his head in shame.

JVD hurries out of the back of the limo and through the nearest door to the backstage area, leaving his wife to continue to cuss out the limo driver.

Lucy Von Drake: “If you think we are paying for this ride you have another thing coming! My husband is going to go out there and still win the winners purse tonight despite your incompetence! I promise it’s going to be the last time you work in this down!”

Lucy slams the limo door and marches away after her husband, leaving the limo driver to slink back to the drivers seat.

On A Roll

We pick up deep inside the Goodfellas Casino where former sVo Las Vegas Champion Nathan Judge is sitting at a roulette table with a pile of casino chips in front of him. Judge is wearing a tracksuit, not the normal dress code for the casino.

Judge watches the roulette wheel slowly spin to a stop in front of him once again, before the croupier once again dumps a load of chips onto his already massive pile!

Nathan Judge: “I got to say, I am loving being back in Vegas!”

Judge smiles to nobody but himself, however the arrival of Shane Beason spoils the mood of Judge, as the Canadian tries to pretend he hasn’t seen the sVo official.

Shane Beason: “Mr Judge we have been looking everywhere for you, your match is up soon!”

Judge tries for a few seconds to ignore the official, before finally relenting.

Nathan Judge: “Ok cash me out, I have a match to win.”

Judge scowls at Beason as he collects his chips together and struggles to carry them away from the table and towards the arena section of the casino.

Single Match

CJ Dreamer vs. James von Drake

“It’s just one of those days
When ya don’t wanna wake up
Everything is fucked
Everybody sucks
You don’t really know why
But you wanna justify
Rippin’ someone’s head off
No human contact
And if you interact
Your life is on contract
Your best bet is to stay away, motherfucker
It’s just one of those days.”

‘Break Stuff’ by the Limp Bizkit blasts over the sound system as CJ Dreamer slowly walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp and stares out at the fans packed into the Goodfellas Casino Arena. Dreamer smirks at his hometown fans who are baying for his blood as he stops for a few seconds to signal to the fans, before briskly walking down the entrance ramp and rolling into the ring. Dreamer quickly rolls to his feet and skips in a circle around the ring whilst shadow boxing. Dreamer slowly returns to his corner of the ring as the music fades out and is replaced with the sound of just the boos from the fans.

“All my life I’ve been searching for something
Something never comes never leads to nothing
Nothing satisfies but I’m getting close
Closer to the prize at the end of the rope”

There are boos in the arena as ‘JVD’ flashes up on the giant screen and the arena is basked in a pink glow. “All My Life” by Foo Fighters blares out as James Von Drake walks out, not dressed in his ring gear due to the late arrival, with his wife Lucy Von Drake as always by his side. JVD signals to the crowd before walking down to the ring and sliding in. JVD holds his arms in the air in the middle of the ring as Lucy Von Drake stands outside the ring clapping on her husband.

The referee calls for the bell to be rung and the action is quickly underway as Dreamer and Von Drake circle around each other in the middle of the ring. Dreamer looks for an arm drag takedown on his opponent, but Von Drake blocks and then knocks his opponent away with a big right hand. Dreamer staggers backwards, allowing Von Drake to grab him by the arm and shoot him into the ring ropes. Dreamer bounces back into the middle of the ring and Von Drake lands a big elbow smash into his opponents face!

Dreamer stumbles away as JVD follows up with some clubbing blows to the back of his opponent. JVD grabs his opponent around the waist in a German suplex position, however Dreamer blocks the move and then goes behind on his opponent before landing a backbreaker to turn the tide of the match. Lucy Von Drake looks concerned on the outside of the ring as JVD holds his back in pain and tries to crawl towards the ropes.

Dreamer rises up to his feet with a smirk on his face before turning and stomping away on JVD as he crawls towards the ropes. JVD finally reaches the ropes and tries to pull himself up, but Dreamer is there with a knee to the midsection followed by a side slam on his opponent. With Von Drake down and clearly hurting, Dreamer wastes no time in making the cover on his opponent.

One,

Two,

No! Von Drake gets a shoulder up before the three can be counted and the match continues! Dreamer looks slightly frustrated at the referee as he rises up his feet and snarls at the fans in the front row. Dreamer retreats to the corner of the ring and waits for Von Drake to get up to his feet, before running at him and landing a massive clothesline on his opponent! The clothesline almost turns Von Drake inside out in the middle of the ring as Dreamer turns and soaks in his accomplishment.

Dreamer calls for the end of the match as he begins to pull Von Drake up before positioning him for the ‘Sweet Dreams’. The fans boo Dreamer, but somehow Von Drake is able to side step the move before getting himself back into the match with a big headbutt to his opponent! Dreamer looks shocked as he staggers backwards. Lucy Von Drake cheers on her husband as JVD feels the momentum behind him once again, kicking Dreamer in the knees before dropping him on his head with a DDT in the middle of the ring!

Both men are down but the momentum is behind Von Drake as he pulls himself up to his feet first. Von Drake returns the stomps that Dreamer laid on him earlier, before throwing his opponent into the corner of the ring. Von Drake peppers Dreamer with big rights and lefts in the corner of the ring before taking him down to the mat with a snapmare! With Dreamer on the mat, Von Drake runs into the ropes and lands a diving dropkick to his face!

No it’s Von Drake’s turn to signal for his finishing move as he shouts at Dreamer to get to his feet! Von Drake positions Dreamer for the ‘Dollar Drop’, but isn’t able to execute as CJ Dreamer manages to counter with a low blow just out of sight of the referee!

Lucy Von Drake shouts in protest, but Dreamer doesn’t hang around as he jumps to his feet and lands the ‘Sweet Dreams’ on his opponent before hooking the leg for the cover!

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and CJ Dreamer has stolen the win over the former Las Vegas Champion! Dreamer staggers to his feet for long enough to have his arm raised in the air in victory, before bailing out of the ring and making his way to the back whilst holding his head in pain.

Lucy Von Drake checks on her husband in the ring whilst arguing with the referee who remains oblivious to the rule break.

Winner via pinfall: CJ Dreamer

The Message

The camera heads backstage once again where Orlando Fox is being wheeled through the backstage corridors and towards a waiting ambulance, with backstage staff watching on and looking worried. The medical team looks to be moving as quickly as possible, however the stretcher is suddenly stopped in its tracks as the medical staff run into Scott Washington standing in front of the ambulance!

Washington runs at the medical staff and they quickly scatter! Washington then pushes Fox off of the stretcher and begins to punch and kick away at his limp body! Fox isn’t able to protect himself at all with his hands and legs strapped into the stretcher! Backstage security try and step in to stop the attack, however Washington throws them around like rag dolls before going back to stomp away on Orlando Fox!

Scott Washington grabs hold of Fox and lifts the stretcher above his head! The onlookers plead with Washington to stop the attack, but he seems intent on launching Fox before Amy Page steps into the scene and holds a hand up.

Amy Page: “I think we sent our message.”

Washington stops immediately at the request of Amy Page, and drops Fox roughly down onto the floor. Amy Page slowly walks away and Washington follows her, leaving the medical team to rush in and check on Orlando Fox again.

Injustice

‘CRASH!’

In the locker room of JVD a steel chair goes flying across the room and into the wall as JVD continues to fume about the loss as the low blow is repeated on the TV screen, with Johnny All Star and JD James reviewing the action on commentary.

After a few more seconds of the furniture of the locker room being angrily re-arranged by JVD, the locker room door springs open and the young referee Brett Lukas is frogmarched into the room by Lucy Von Drake, who has the referees arm twisted up behind his back.

Brett Lukas: “Please! Please! You can’t put your hand on an official!”

Lukas looks terrified as Lucy Von Drake pushes him up to the TV and makes him watch the replay of the action.

James Von Drake: “You see that you little bastard! He cheated! Now I want you to overturn that match decision right now!”

Lukas watches the replay of the action with wide eyes.

Brett Lukas: “Look I’m real sorry I missed it Mr Von Drake, but I can’t do anything about it now! I have already raised his hand!”

Lucy Von Drake wrenches her grip on the referees arm behind his back, but Lukas continues to please with the Von Drakes. James Von Drake finally gives up as he grabs hold of the referee and takes him off of his wife, before throwing him through the door and out of the room!

Lucy Von Drake: “Let’s take it to Page, this is bullshit!”

JVD slowly shakes his head.

James Von Drake: “Forget it, it’s over. Let’s get the hell out of here before this night gets even worse.”

Lucy Von Drake looks livid as JVD has to restrain his wife from going back after the referee and the scene fades out.

Nathan Judge vs. The Teacher

“Howling winds keep screaming round
And the rain comes pouring down
Doors are locked and bolted now
As the thing crawls into town.”

‘Night Crawler’ by Judas Priest hits the sound system and there are boos in the arena as Nathan Judge slowly emerges from the backstage area onto the top of the entrance ramp. Nathan Judge doesn’t look too happy with the reception he is receiving from the Vegas crowd as he stares out at the sea of people before slowly making his way down the entrance ramp towards the ring.

Judge slowly climbs into the ring between the ropes before walking around the perimeter and staring out at the crowd. The crowd continue to boo Nathan Judge as he stands tall in the ring looking ready for the match to begin.

“Stand up
I have had enough
Walk away before I finish what you started
Face to face, I will push you in your place

Face to face, everything will change!”

‘Stand Up’ by Trapt hits the sound system and there is a big cheer in the arena as The Teacher slowly steps out onto the top of the entrance stage! The former Las Vegas Champion Nathan Judge and the masked Teacher circle around each other in the middle of the ring as the referee calls for the bell to be rung and the match to get started. Judge finally ties up with the Teacher, and the Canadian uses his strength to push the Teacher backwards before taking him down to the mat with a side headlock takedown. The Teacher quickly rolls back up to his feet, but Judge is there with a shoulder block to take him back down.

Judge aims an elbow drop on The Teacher on the mat, but the Teacher rolls out of the way before getting to his feet and landing a standing dropkick to knock Judge down. Judge gets to his feet and aims some big right hands at his opponent, however The Teacher dodges and weaves out of the way of the right hands of his opponent, before taking him down to the mat with a double leg takedown. The Teacher gets some shots in with his ground and pound before the former Las Vegas Champion uses his strength to roll away and get to his feet.

Judge looks stunned as he stumbles to the corner, but the Teacher grabs him by the arm and sends him corner to corner. The Teacher follows up with a big splash in the corner of the ring before following up with a snap suplex! With Judge down on the mat, the Teacher leaps down onto his opponent and makes the cover.

One,

Two,

No!

Nathan Judge gets a shoulder up before the three can be counted. The Teacher grabs Nathan Judge by the hair to pull him up to a standing position and lands some stiff chops across the chest, but this seems to wake up his opponent as he fires back with a big headbutt to stun his opponent. The Teacher holds his face in pain, and Judge bounces back off of the ropes for extra momentum before landing a massive clothesline to take him down to the mat.

The Teacher rolls around in pain as Judge takes a few seconds to flip off the crowd who are booing him relentlessly, before stomping away on his opponent. With The Teacher in some serious pain, Nathan Judge pulls him to his feet and throws him into the ring ropes. The Teacher bounces back into the middle of the ring and Judge takes him down to the mat with a massive spinebuster! With The Teacher down, Judge leaps down into a lazy cover without hooking the leg.

One,

Two,

No!

Everyone thought it was all over after that spinebuster, but the lazy cover comes back to haunt Judge as his opponent kicks out! Nathan Judge look furious with himself, but it is the referee who he takes his frustrations out on as he screams at the ref for a slow count. Judge pulls the Teacher to his feet and looks for another spinebuster, but The Teacher manages to block the move, before landing a kick to the midsection and dropping Judge on his head with a DDT!

The fans pop for the big move as the former Las Vegas Champion looks in trouble! Judge uses the ropes to stumble up to his feet, but The Teacher doesn’t let up as he lands a back suplex on Judge to land him perfectly in the splash zone! With Judge down and motionless, the fans pop as the masked Teacher begins to climb the ropes in the nearest corner! The Teacher taunts to the fans and the flashbulbs go off around the arena as the Teacher leaps into the air looking for a frogsplash on Judge. However as The Teacher leaps into the air, Nathan Judge has the presence of mind to get his knees up and drive them into the midsection of his opponent!

The fans boo loudly as The Teacher rolls around on the mat in pain. Judge is slow to pull himself to a standing position, but as he does he quickly signals for the end of the match, before grabbing the Teacher and landing the ‘Judgement Day’ in the middle of the ring straight into a cover!

Chance of A Lifetime

After the big victory for Nathan Judge, we head to the office of the sVo Owner Jon Page. Page is watching the action on a big screen in the corner of the office as he sits behind the big desk in the middle of the office, however he is not alone.

Jon Page: “You see that Dallas? That was the level of competition that we have here in the sVo and that is why I think this is a massive opportunity for you at this stage in your career!”

Sitting on the sofa across from Page is the muscular frame of ‘The Patriot’ Dallas Jordan, dressed of course in red, white and blue.

Dallas Jordan: “Don’t worry Mr Page, I won’t let you down tonight!”

The youngster looks a little intimidated as he watches the action continue to unfold on the screen.

Jon Page: “I have no doubt kid. I picked you out of that wrestling academy for the return of the sVo for a reason! I see big potential in you, no I want you to go out there and show it against Moretti! That little shit might have an iron clad contract here because of his old man’s business dealings with me, but that doesn’t mean his time here has to be an enjoyable one! Now go out there and stomp his ass!”

Jordan is so pumped up that he nearly rips the hinges off of the door of Page’s office as he marches out towards the ring, leaving a pleased sVo owner to put his feet up on the desk and wait to watch the main event unfold.

My Regret

The cameras head to the backstage area where a sweating CJ Dreamer is standing in the interview area next to Katie Smith, who as always has a microphone in her hand. Dreamer has a towel around his neck and a bottle of water in his hand as he continues to breathe heavily after his early victory over James Von Drake earlier in the night.

Katie Smith: “CJ, you picked up a big victory over JVD earlier in the night. What are your thoughts on the sVo return tonight?”

Dreamer takes a long gulp of water before answering the question.

CJ Dreamer: “Well I got to be honest Katie. I have been pumped up for weeks for the sVo to return. I was here right at the end last time and although I got the Tag Team Championship belt won I feel like I missed out when it closed. So I have been carrying that regret for my whole career, only for the sVo to re-open! However I walked into the locker room tonight and I can’t say that I am massively impressed.”

Smith looks a little surprised by Dreamer.

Katie Smith: “Oh.. I see. Well what are your plans now after the big victory earlier tonight?”

CJ Dreamer: “I saw that Page was out there parading those Championship belts earlier this evening, and although he didn’t actually announce what was happening with them I believe that I am in the prime position for a shot at that sVo Championship. I won against Von Drake earlier and I have been dominating the Las Vegas wrestling scene since the sVo closed down! Page, give me my shot!”

Dreamer downs the last of the water and walks out of the scene before Smith can ask another question. Katie Smith awkwardly calls for the camera to be cut as we head back to ringside of the main event.

Main Event

Single Match
Anthony Moretti vs.  ‘The Patriot’ Dallas Jordan

“Well, you woke up this morning
Got yourself a gun
Your mama always said you’d be the chosen one
She said, you’re one in a million, you’ve got to burn to shine
But you were born under a bad sign with a blue moon in your eyes
And you woke up this morning
All that love had gone
Your papa never told you about right and wrong…”

‘Woke Up This Morning’ by A3 hits the sound system and there are boos from the crowd as the young Anthony Moretti steps out onto the top of the entrance stage. Moretti makes a gun motion with his hand in the air, before slowly making his way down the entrance ramp towards the ring. Moretti rolls under the bottom rope and quickly makes his way to the corner of the ring where he climbs to the second rope of the turn buckle. Moretti raises both arms in the air to taunt to the crowd.

“Living in America, eye to eye, station to station
Living in America, hand to hand across the nation
Living in America, got to have a celebration!
I live in America
I live in America!”

The upbeat “Living In America” by James Brown hits the sound system and the fans in the arena cheer as the arena is basked in a red, white and blue glow. After a few seconds the energetic Dallas Jordan steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp and throws up a salute to the crowd. ‘The Patriot’ quickly makes his way down the entrance ramp whilst slapping hands with fans at ringside, before climbing into the ring. Jordan stares out to the crowd for a few seconds before throwing up another salute to the crowd. Jordan retreats into his corner of the ring as the music begins to fade out.

The bell is rung at the request of the referee and the main event is quickly underway as Moretti runs at Jordan and lays into the newcomer with some stiff right hands. The fans boo loudly as Moretti backs Jordan into the corner of the ring with relentless knee strikes and punches, before pulling him away from the ropes and taking him down to the mat. Moretti continues with the big punches as he keeps Jordan down on the mat, and the match looks like a complete mismatch in the opening few minutes!

Dallas Jordan desperately tries to put some distance between himself and Moretti, but Moretti grabs him around the waist and takes him down with a big German suplex in the middle of the ring. Moretti aims to prove that he doesn’t get paid by the hour as he makes the quick cover, but Jordan does manage to kick out after two. Dallas Jordan staggers up to his feet and tries to cover up as Moretti reigns some more right and left hands his way. The crowd try and get behind the youngster as ‘The Patriot’ fires back with some right hands of his own, but Moretti cuts him off with a knee to the midsection.

Moretti grabs hold of Jordan and throws him into the corner of the ring with an irish whip. Dallas Jordan hits the turnbuckle hard, but as Moretti looks to follow up with a clothesline in the corner, Jordan dives out of the way! Jordan follows up with a neckbreaker on Moretti to finally take him down before looking for a quick cover.

One,

Two,

No!

Jordan shakes off his disappointment quickly as he grabs Moretti and pulls him up to his feet. Jordan lands some big right hands on his opponent and then takes him down to the mat with a scoop slam. With Moretti down, Jordan feeds off of the energy of the crowd as he bounces into the ring ropes and lands a diving elbow drop to his opponent. Moretti looks in pain on the mat at the impact from the below drop as Jordan rises up to his feet and taunts to the crowd for his finishing move!

The fans are firmly behind the newcomer as he looks to pick up the victory in his first sVo match in the main event! Jordan pulls Moretti up to his feet, but Moretti rakes the eyes of his opponent which draws boos from the crowd! The referee admonishes Moretti, but he doesn’t seem too bothered as he nails his opponent with a knee to the midsection and then drops him on his head with a DDT.

Moretti chokes Jordan out with his boot across the throat of his opponent for the whole five count from the referee, before taunting to the fans. The fans boo Moretti, who smirks, before turning and landing a big kick to the midsection of his opponent. Jordan holds his ribs in pain, but Moretti continues the attack on the youngster with some big kicks and stomps to the midsection of ‘The Patriot’.

The referee tries to check with Jordan if he is ok to continue with the match, but Moretti pushes the referee out of the way before pulling Jordan up to his feet and landing the ‘Hitman’ in the middle of the ring! The boos continue to ring out around the arena as Moretti stares down at Dallas Jordan, however pulls him up to his feet instead of making the cover! The boos continue for Moretti as he lands a second ‘Hitman’ on Dallas Jordan before finally making the cover on his opponent. Moretti cockily drops down and makes the cover.

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and despite the best efforts of the newcomer, it is Anthony Moretti who picks up the victory in the main event of the first ever sVo Against All Odds!

Moretti rises up to his feet and shrugs off the referee before throwing both of his arms up in the air and basking in the boos from the fans. Moretti smirks at the reaction, but it only gets louder as he spots the referee helping Dallas Jordan up to his feet and nails him from behind with a cheap shot to send him back down to the mat, sending the referee down at the same time!

Moretti laughs at his own actions as he raises his arms in the air in victory once again!

Winner via pinfall: Anthony Moretti

Ringside

Against All Odds

Anthony Moretti finally stops celebrating in the ring and calls for Natasha Ortiz to hand him a microphone from ringside. Moretti smirks at the fans in the arena baying for his blood, as more officials come down the entrance ramp to help Dallas Jordan and the referee to the backstage area after the attack from Moretti.

Anthony Moretti: “Oops, I honestly didn’t mean to take down the referee like that, but oh well, it’s not as if Page can fire me is it!!!”

The crowd boo loudly as Moretti laughs hysterically to himself at the fact that the sVo Owner Jon Page can’t fire him due to the contract that was signed when his father Jimmy Moretti was half owner.

Anthony Moretti: “Now Page, I beat and embarrassed your little project tonight and showed why I am the best you have on the sVo roster… so get out here and hand me that sVo Championship and Las Vegas Championship belts!”

Moretti throws the microphone down to the floor and stares up at the entrance ramp, waiting for the owner to come and present him with the vacant championship belts.

However the arrival of Jon Page is not forthcoming, however there is a big cheer from the crowd as behind the back of Anthony Moretti, there is an appearance of a masked man jumping over the security barrier! The security staff seem to occupied with helping the referee and Dallas Jordan to notice as the masked man hops the barrier and slides into the ring behind Moretti with a steel chair in hand! The fans pop as the masked man smashes the chair into the back of Moretti, before dropping the chair and jumping back into the crowd as the security staff finally hit the ring!

There is chaos in the Goodfellas Casino Arena as Against All Odds goes off of the air with Anthony Moretti laid out in the middle of the ring and the security team failing to catch up with the masked man as they race through the crowd!
