P:V Uprising 48

Curtis Knight takes on James Mendoza in the main event with the P:V Championship on the line!

Project:Violence Uprising 48
Live on the HOTv Network on PWA:TV
Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
30th July 2023

The entrance video package for Uprising begins, accompanied by the theme song of ‘Uprising’ by Artificial Intelligence as highlights of past action from 2006 to present day are sped up, showing the likes of Elijah Drake, Jay Rayez, Shooting Star & Brutal Steve. As the video package finally comes to an end with an extended look at the ‘Uprising’ logo, the camera cuts to an exterior shot of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, before cutting to a live shot of inside the arena.

The camera pans around the sold-out crowd, most of them on their feet and screaming loudly whilst trying to get their homemade sign shown in front of the camera. The cameras finally head over to the commentary table, where Zac Brindle and Johnny Kaos welcome the fans watching on the HOTv network on PWA:TV to the broadcast and begin to break down some of the action that will take place on tonight’s show!

The camera heads backstage to the interview pit where Elena Cruz is standing by, microphone in hand, with James Mendoza and Brandon Snyder! Mendoza looks pumped up, whilst Snyder stands slightly behind him.

Elena Cruz: “James, later on tonight you finally get a shot at the P:V Championship belt when you go one on one with Curtis Knight! How are you feeling ahead of the big match?”

Mendoza smirks at the question as he looks back at Snyder.

James Mendoza: “Well I would love to believe that it was going to be one on one like you say, but we all know that Curtis Knight doesn’t do anything one on one. He will have his wife there fighting his battles like always. Knight, prove me wrong, come and face me like a man!”

Mendoza stares down the camera lens, throwing down the challenge to the Champion.

Elena Cruz: “Well it looks like you have your own back up, just in case?”

Mendoza and Snyder share a glance.

James Mendoza: “We have had many a battle with the Rebel Society and we have had each others backs, Brandon will have my back as well if it comes to it tonight!”

Snyder nods to Mendoza, as the scene fades out!

Best of Luck

The camera heads to the backstage area once again, this time to the locker room of the P:V Champion Curtis Knight, who is warming up for his up coming match up. Knight’s P:V Championship is hanging from a chair in the corner of the ring, whilst Athena helps ‘the Dark Horse’ warm up.

After a few seconds, there is a knock of the door, and Knight and Athena angrily look around as the P:V COO JD James enters.

Knight and Athena stare at James, as he he shifts uncomfortably.

JD James: “Hey guys, I just wanted to pop in and wish you good luck for the main event out there tonight….”

Knight and Athena continue to stare down James.

Curtis Knight: “Luck? I am the Champion, the most dominant star here in Project:Violence, no in the HISTORY of Project Violence! I don’t need luck….”

Athena: “He doesn’t need any luck JD….”

JD James backs away a few steps towards the door.

JD James: “Did I do something to upset you guys, I thought we were tight?”

Knight scoffs as he stands up tall and towers over JD.

Curits Knight: “Friends wouldn’t put friends in title matches like tonight JD….”

Knight stares down the P:V COO, until JD slowly backs away out of the door and softly closes it behind him.

Ringside
Back Up

The referee presents the P:V Championship belt to Curtis Knight, but the Champion doesn’t seem done as he calls Athena into the ring. The crowd boo loudly as Knight takes the P:V Championship, and smashes it into the face of James Mendoza as he tries to get to his feet!

Knight signals to Athena to pull Mendoza up to his feet, as he readies himself for another belt shot! Mendoza has been busted open from the first shot to the face with the title belt, as Athena grabs him by the arms and pulls him to his feet.

However before Knight can nail Mendoza again, the fans pop as Brandon Snyder races down the entrance ramp with a steel chair in hand! Snyder slides into the ring with the chair in hand, as Knight and Athena decide they want none of the steel and bail out! The fans cheer loudly as Snyder challenges Knight and Athena to get back to the ring, only for them to back up the entrance ramp and wave off the challenge!

James Mendoza slowly gets to his feet, but there is shock in the arena as Snyder suddenly spins and nails him with a chair shot!

Even Knight and Athena look surprised from the top of the entrance ramp, as Uprising 48 goes off of the air with Brandon Snyder standing over his bloodied ‘friend’ James Mendoza in the middle of the ring!
