The entrance video package for Uprising begins, accompanied by the theme song of ‘Uprising’ by Artificial Intelligence as highlights of past action from 2013 to present day are sped up, showing the likes of Bobby Dean, Roscoe Shame, Night, Jay Wildman, Cody Williams & Nathan Paradine. As the video package finally comes to an end with an extended look at the ‘Uprising’ logo, the camera cuts to an exterior shot of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, before cutting to a live shot of inside the arena.

The camera pans around the sold-out crowd, most of them on their feet and screaming loudly whilst trying to get their homemade sign shown in front of the camera. The cameras finally head over to the commentary table, where Julian Fiasco and Jeremiah Sloan welcome the fans watching on TV to the broadcast and begin to break down some of the action that will take place on tonight’s show, including Curtis Knight competing in the main event!


Single Match
El Froggo vs. Jacob Izaz

DJ Snake – Taki Taki hits the sound system and the fans watch on as the energetic El Froggo makes his way out from behind the curtain! El Froggo dances around the top of the entrance ramp, getting the crowd pumped up! El Froggo quickly makes his way down the entrance ramp, moving from side to side to slap the hands of as many fans as possible! El Froggo leaps up onto the ring apron, before valunting himself into the ring and rushing across to bounce off the nearest ropes! El Froggo leaps up to the second rope of the nearest turnbuckle before turning and posing for the crowd!

‘Not for Radio’ by Nas hits the sound system and the fans cheer as onto the top of the entrance ramp swaggers the confident looking Jacob Izaz. Izaz holds his arms in the air and stands motionless for a few seconds as flash bulbs go off around the arena, before he slowly continues his swagger down the entrance ramp towards the ring. Izaz hops up onto the ring apron and again throws his arms up in the air to poses for the crowd, before climbing through the ropes and into the squared circle.

The referee calls for the bell to be rung, with some clear animosity between the pair after Jacob Izaz called out El Froggo last week on Showdown and said that he wasn’t worthy of a Las Vegas Championship shot against Kenneth D Williams!

The pair lock up in the middle of the ring, but Izaz quickly pushes El Froggo backwards. El Froggo goes behind on Izaz, before taking him to the mat with a waist lock takedown. El Froggo angrily nails his opponent with some stiff forearm shots to the back of the head, but Izaz is able to roll to his feet and get out of the reach of his opponent. El Froggo tries to stay on the offensive as he aims a spinning heel kick at the head of Izaz, but Izaz ducks under the foot of his opponent and bounces off of the ring ropes, before landing a monkey flip onto El Froggo.

El Froggo quickly gets to his feet, but Izaz is there with a leaping knee strike to send him back down to the mat. The Philly Flash poses for the fans in the ring, whilst El Froggo rolls to the outside to try and put some distance between himself and his opponent. El Froggo staggers around the ringside area holding his jaw, but Izaz doesn’t let him recover for too long, as he hits the ropes before launching himself through the second and third rope with a suicide dive onto El Froggo!

The fans pop for the high flying move from Izaz, as he scoops El Froggo up and rolls him back into the ring. El Froggo looks dazed as the masked Mexican gets to his feet in the ring, but Jacob Izaz follows up with an impressive snap T-Bone suplex before making the cover!

No!

It looked all over right there, but somehow El Froggo manages to get a shoulder up off of the mat just in time. Izaz punishes El Froggo with some stiff mounted punches, before bringing the Mexican back to his feet. Jacob Izaz grabs El Froggo by the arm and shoots him into the ring ropes, however El Froggo counters with a handspring elbow which gets a big pop from the crowd. Izaz staggers away, and El Froggo follows up with a spinning heel kick to take the Philly Flash down.

Jacob Izaz looks angry as he stumbles up to his feet, but El Froggo takes him straight back to the mat with a head scissors takedown, before following up with a back suplex! Jacob Izaz crawls to the corner of the ring, but El Froggo is on a roll as he lands a double knees in the corner, before pulling Izaz away from the ropes and making the cover!

Two,

No!

Everyone in the arena thought that was a three count right there, but somehow Izaz kicks out! El Froggo shakes his head as he rises up to his feet and soaks in the cheers from the fans. El Froggo waits for Izaz to finally get to his feet, before planning him with a snap suplex in the corner of the ring. With Izaz in the drop zone, the fans cheer as El Froggo begins to make his way to the top rope!

El Froggo signals for the ‘Feeling Froggy’, but as he launches himself off of the top rope towards Izaz, Izaz get’s his knees up and drives them into the midsection of the masked man!

El Froggo rolls around in pain as Jacob Izaz pulls himself up. Izaz retreats to the corner of the ring and signals to the crowd, before shouting on his opponent to get up. El Froggo slowly stumbles up holding his midsection, but Izaz pounces out of the corner of the ring to hit ‘The Message’ on El Froggo, before making the quick cover.

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and Jacob Izaz picks up another victory after a hard fought back and forth match! The fans cheer as Izaz rises up to his feet and has his arm raised in the air by the official.

Izaz celebrates his victory which is sure to take him one step closer to another shot at the Las Vegas Championship belt, but as he does El Froggo slowly begins to rise to his feet. Jacob Izaz extends his hand for a handshake to El Froggo, but El Froggo takes one look at the outstretched hand of his opponent and slaps it out of the way!

Izaz looks surprised as there is a mixed reaction from the crowd, whilst El Froggo exits the ring and makes his way backstage whilst shaking his head, clearly looking frustrated.

Joe Barone vs. Johnny White

With the rookie Johnny White already in the ring as the action heads back to ringside, ‘Woke Up This Morning’ by A3 hits the sound system and the fans boo as the red lights flash around the arena. After a few seconds the boos get louder as ‘The Problem Solver’ Joe Barone steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp. Barone poses at the top of the entrance ramp for a few seconds, before slowly walking down the ramp towards the ring. Barone uses his massive size to try and intimidate the fans at ringside as he walks a full circle around the ring, before slowly stepping up onto the ring apron. Barone poses on the ring apron for a few seconds, causing even more boos from the fans, before stepping clean over the top rope and waiting for the match to get started.

The referee calls for the bell to be rung, and Johnny White quickly runs at his opponent to try and get the upper hand, nailing Barone with a big forearm shot to the face. However the punch barely even moves the Blood Money member, as Barone looks down at White angrily! White begins to back away, but Barone steps forward and nails him down to the mat with a big head butt!

Barone scoops White up off of the mat and sends him into the ring ropes, before taking him down to the mat with a big boot to the face. White looks in trouble on the mat already, as Barone bounces off of the ring ropes himself before landing a big leg drop to his downed opponent!

Barone looks like he has had enough fun for one night, as the ‘Problem Solver’ scoops Johnny White up to his feet with one hand and calls for his finishing move! Barone grabs White around the throat before drilling the rookie with the ‘Omerta’ in the middle of the ring! With White down, Barone places a big boot on the chest of his opponent and shouts at the referee to get down and count!

Three!

It’s all over and once again Joe Barone has won another match here on Uprising with the minimal amount of effort! With momentum building for the ‘Problem Solver’, can anyone stand in his way?

The Black Brothers vs. The Starr Brothers

“World of Shit” by Nailbomb plays as the lights in the arena go out. Fog and white lights drench the entrance area as Igor & Boris Black make their way out towards the ring. The boos ring out for the giant pair, as they remain Fixated on the ring whilst making their way quickly to the squared circle, ready to fight!

‘Man in the Box’ by the Alice In Chains hits and there is a small cheer from the crowd as the team of Darren Starr & Simon Starr walk out onto the top of the entrance ramp! Both Starr brothers signal to both sides of the crowd before quickly making their way down the entrance ramp and diving head first into the ring.

With Igor Black and Simon Starr getting things started for their teams, the referee calls for the bell to be rung and the action is quickly started! Both men circle around each other in the middle of the ring, before locking up. The much bigger Igor quickly pushes Simon Starr back against the ring ropes, causing the referee to call for a rope break. Igor gives a clean break to his opponent, but Simon Starr slaps the big man across the face!

The fans seem surprised by the actions of Simon Starr, as Igor angrily fires back with some big right hands to his opponent. Igor grabs Simon Starr by the arm and shoots him into the ring ropes, before knocking him down with a big boot as he bounces back and making the tag out to Boris Black.

Boris quickly climbs into the ring and pulls Simon Starr up to a standing position. Boris slams his opponents head into the turnbuckle, before taking him down to the mat with a massive back suplex. Simon Starr begins to crawl to his corner of the ring to make the tag out to his brother, but Boris cuts him off with a big stomp to the back, before pulling him up to his feet.

Simon Starr tries to fight back with some right hands, but Boris takes him down with a scoop slam before hitting the ring ropes and looking for an elbow drop. However Simon Starr manages to roll out of the way just in time, causing Boris Black to hit the canvas hard! Simon Starr quickly takes the chance to roll to his corner and make the tag out to his brother Darren Starr!

The fans cheer as Darren Starr jumps into the ring and quickly hits a springboard pump kick to the face of Boris Black. Boris stumbles backwards, and the high flying Darren Starr hits the ropes before taking him down with a swing blade! Darren Starr rises up to his feet and tries to get the crowd pumped up, before stomping away on Boris as he gets to his feet.

Boris looks for a big lariat to gain control of the match again, but Darren Starr uses his speed to duck under the arm of his opponent before landing a jumping knee to the face! Boris staggers backwards, and Darren Starr hits the ropes before taking the big man down with a chopblock!

The fans cheer loudly as Darren Starr stands over Boris Black and shouts at the big man to get to his feet! Boris slowly staggers up, but as Darren Starr aims a superkick at him, Boris catches his opponents foot! Darren Starr hops on one leg for a few seconds, before Boris cleans him out with a big clothesline! The fans boo as Boris Black turns and knocks Simon Starr off of the ring apron with a big right hand, before making the tag out to his brother Igor!

Boris Black stands guard over the downed body of Simon Starr, as Igor Black climbs into the ring and scoops up the body of Darren Starr! The fans rise to their feet as Igor drills Darren Starr with the ‘Face of Fear’ in the middle of the ring, before making the cover!

Three!

It’s all over and it is another dominating performance from the undefeated Black Brothers! Igor and Boris both throw the Starr Brothers to the outside of the ring before having their arms raised in the air in victory by the referee. With the protegees of William Vorheez picking up another win, how long until they get a shot at the sVo Tag Team Championships currently held by the Canadian Connection?

Alissia Young vs. Lilith Morgan

With Lilith Morgan already in the ring and warming up in the corner, ‘Welcome To Toronto’ by K Money hits the sound system, and there are loud boos from the crowd as onto the top of the entrance ramp steps Alissia Young of the Canadian Connection! Young signals to the crowd, before slowly walking down the entrance ramp bopping her head to the music. Cole rolls into the ring under the bottom rope before climbing to the second rope and staring out at the crowd with her arms folded, before jumping down and preparing for battle as the music fades out.

The referee calls for the bell to be rung, and both ladies circle around each other in the middle of the ring. Lilith Morgan hits some stiff forearm shots to her unbeaten opponent, and Young fires back with some forearm strikes of her own. Morgan grabs hold of Young by the arm and tries to shoot her into the ring ropes, but Young reverses and sends Morgan into the ropes before knocking her down with a shoulder block as she bounces back.

Morgan quickly staggers back up to her feet, but Young is on her again with some stiff chops across the chest, before making her double over in pain with a knee to the midsection. Young quickly follows up with a snap suplex in the middle of the ring before floating over to make the cover.

No!

Morgan gets a shoulder up and this one continues! Young looks a little angry at not getting the three count there and then, as she pulls Morgan up to her feet and sends her hard into the corner of the ring. Young follows up with a clothesline in the corner of the ring, before taking Morgan down to the mat with a neckbreaker as she stumbles out of the corner. Morgan tries to get to her feet holding her neck, and Alissia Young pounces to try and lock her into ‘the Hard Way’, however Morgan grabs the ropes straight away to cause the rope break!

The fans boo Young as she gets to her feet and stomps away on Morgan before she even has a chance at a clear break. Morgan bravely tries to battle up to her feet, but Young nails her with a back breaker in the middle of the ring, before hitting the riopes and landing a springboard push kick! Morgan staggers up after the impressive move, and Young follows up with a headscissors takedown into the cover!

No!

Once again Morgan manages to get a shoulder up before the three can be counted! Young looks a little frustrated at not getting the three count already, as she retreats to the corner of the ring and stares out at the crowd. Lilith Morgan slowly rises up to her feet and tries to get back into the match with some right hands, but Young fires back with some knife edge chops, before landing a fisherman’s neckbreaker!

With Morgan down on the mat, Young quickly scoops her up and lands a pumphandle uranage before calling for her finishing move! Young stalks Morgan as she tries to get to her feet, and the fans boo loudly as Young quickly snaps on the ‘Hard Way’, this time in the middle of the ring with no where for her opponent to hide!

Morgan bravely tries to free herself from the hold for a few seconds, before finally having to tap out to the pain! The fans continue to boo as Young keeps the submission hold locked on for a few seconds longer than needed, before finally releasing her opponent! The boos continue as Young rises up to her feet and has her arm raised in the air in victory, still undefeated in an sVo ring!

Curtis Knight vs. Clam Idia

With Clam Idia already in the ring and looking for his first ever sVo win, ‘There And Back’ by Daughtry hits the sound system and there is a cheer from the crowd as the lights in the arena dim. After a few seconds the impressive ‘the Dark Horse’ Curtis Knight slowly walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp, before raising one arm in the air. Pyro shoots into the air either side of Knight at the same time his arm shoots into the air, before he slowly walks down the entrance ramp. Knight climbs into the ring before posing for the fans one last time as the music fades out.

The fans are on their feet in support of Curtis Knight as the referee calls for the bell to be rung and tonight’s main event to get started! Idia slowly stalks around his massive opponent, before running at him and landing some right hands. Knight absorbs the punches before landing a knee to the midsection and throwing Idia into the ring ropes. Idia bounces back into the middle of the ring, and Knight knocks him down to the mat with a massive clothesline!

Idia stumbles up to his feet not quite knowing where he is, and Knight quickly sends him back down to the mat with a shoulder block. With Clam Idia down on the mat, Knight stomps away on his opponent before walking back to the middle of the ring and posing for the fans. ‘The Relentless’ Clam Idia slowly staggers back up to a standing position, but Knight quickly runs at him and lifts him into the air before taking him down with a powerslam.

Curtis Knight roars as he rises up to his feet, and the fans cheer in approval as the ‘Dark Horse’ stands dominant over his opponent!

It looks like Knight could end this contest any time he felt like it, as he pulls Clam Idia up to his feet and tosses him into the corner of the ring. Knight follows up with a massive splash in the corner of the ring, before hitting the ropes himself and landing a big boot to the face of his opponent as he staggers out!

With Clam Idia down and seemingly out, Knight calls for his finish as he stands over his opponent! The fans rise to their feet as Knight pulls the greasy Clam Idia to his feet by his hair, before locking in the ‘Dragon Tamer’ in the middle of the ring! The fans cheer even louder as Idia quickly taps out to the pain, and Knight tosses him aside before raising both arms up into the air in victory!

Curtis Knight looks dominant as he stands in the middle of the ring, no doubt looking to cut a path right through the sVo roster again in order to get another chance to get his hands on Anthony Moretti!

Ringside
Money Shot

As Curtis Knight continues to celebrate in the middle of the ring, the cheers suddenly turn to boos as out of the crowd jumps Money Malone with a steel chair in hand! The former sVo Las Vegas Champions slides into the ring behind the back of Curtis Knight, before smashing ‘the Dark Horse’ in the back with the chair!

Knight sinks down to one knee after the chair shot, and Money Malone follows up with a second chair shot to the back of Knight’s head to send him down to the mat!

The boos continue to ring out around the arena as Money Malone stands over the downed body of Curtis Knight with the steel chair raised over his head, as Uprising heads off of the air!
