As the video package finally comes to an end with an extended look at the ‘Sunday Night Showdown’ logo, the camera cuts to an exterior shot of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, before cutting to a live shot of inside the arena. The camera pans around the sold-out crowd, most of them on their feet and screaming loudly whilst trying to get their homemade sign shown in front of the camera. Put Some Respect on The Name

On the giant screen, the fans in attendance are treated to a montage of highlights from the Seasons Beatings 2021 PPV, ending with Johnny All Star scoring the three count to win the sVo Championship from Cody Williams, before the former Champion bid a tearful farewell to the sVo fans.

This is suddenly interrupted as ‘Viva Las Vegas’ by Metal Elvis hits the sound system and boos fill the arena as Johnny All Star slowly walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp! All Star is flanked by the rest of Blood Money, with Anthony Moretti, Joe Barone & Money Malone on his left, with James and Lucy Von Drake on his right. All Star stands for a few seconds at the top of the entrance ramp and unhooks the sVo Championship belt from around his waist and lifts it into the air for everyone to see, which draws even louder boos from the crowd.

All Star smirks at the reaction, before walking down the entrance ramp with the rest of Blood Money and climbing into the ring. With the six members of Blood Money in the ring, the new Champion calls for a microphone from the ring announcer and waits for the boos to begin to slowly die out.

Johnny All Star: “Ladies and gentlemen, at Seasons Beatings the status quo was restored and the little blip that was Cody Williams’ title reign was wiped from the record and this belt found it’s way back to where it belongs…..”

There are loud boos from the crowd, followed by a “thank you Cody” chant.

Johnny All Star: “Now we are out here tonight to right another wrong…. At Seasons Beatings the tears of Cody Williams stopped all of you people from hearing your new Champion be announced officially!”

There are more loud boos from the crowd.

Johnny All Star: “Natasha Ortiz, get in here and do your damn job!”

All Star points at Natasha Ortiz, the ring announcer on the outside of the ring who looks surprised as the camera pans around to her. The Von Drake’s hop out of the ring and intimidate the ring announcer, before ‘helping’ her into the ring. All Star walks over to Ortiz and puts the microphone in her hand before telling her to announce him, as he holds the title belt in the air.

The crowd boo loudly and Natasha Ortiz looks embarrassed as she takes the mic.

Natasha Ortiz: “Ladies and gentlemen, your new sVo Champion…… Johnnyyyyyy All Star!”

The crowd boo loudly for the introduction, but Johnny All Star doesn’t look happy as he shakes his head before aggressively talking into Ortiz’s ear. Ortiz nods her head and apologizes to the sVo Champion before taking the mic again.

Natasha Ortiz: “My apologies ladies and gentlemen, I have been informed that I have made a mistake in my announcement…… Please welcome your new sVo Champion…… Johnnnyyyyyy ‘All Star’ Morettiiiiiiiiiii!”

The crowd boo even louder as Johnny All Star looks suitable impressed to take the microphone back off of Ortiz and order her out of the ring, as the rest of Blood Money applaud.

Johnny Moretti: “That’s right people, time for you to finally put some respect on the name and for me to claim my birthright. From now on you will address me as Johnny ‘All Star’ Moretti! The Moretti’s are running the sVo once again!”

The fans boo loudly as Johnny Moretti and Anthony Moretti share a brief hug in the middle of the ring, before leading Blood Money out of the ring and to the backstage area!

Just Another Highlight

The cameras head backstage to the interview area, where a beaming Katie Smith is standing by with the brand new sVo Las Vegas Champion Kenneth D Williams!

Williams has the sVo Las Vegas Championship belt draped over his shoulder and a joint behind his ear as he smirks whilst tapping the belt on his shoulder.

Katie Smith: “Ladies and gentlemen, I am standing here tonight with the brand new Las Vegas Champion Kenneth D Williams! Kenny, Seasons Beatings was a hell of a night for you!”

Kenneth D Williams: “Listen Katie, I told everyone what I was going to do and then I went out there and did it. When you are the human highlight reel then Seasons Beatings is just another highlight to add to the list!”

Katie Smith: “Well now you have the Las Vegas Championship how do you feel about having such a target on your back?”

Kenneth D Williams: “I don’t sweat any target on my back at all. I am keeping this belt for a very long time, but for now there is only one way to celebrate….”

Williams takes the joint from behind his ear and lights it, as Katie Smith looks nervously into the camera. However after only one drag, the joint is suddenly slapped out of the mouth of the Las Vegas Champion by Jacob Izaz who strides into the scene! Katie Smith wisely exits stage left, as Williams looks angrily at Izaz.

Jacob Izaz: “Don’t think I’m still not coming for that gold…. CHAMP!”

Spin Wheel, Make Deal

“Starts Right Here” by Foreign Air and Kenny Mason plays and out comes the towering form of the man called “Big Aug” August Lazar, towering over the viewing masses! He puts a hand on his forehead and scans the crowd before heading towards the ring slowly in stretch clothes – some big and tall blue jeans, bright red Adidas shoes, his new sVo “Big Aug = Big Trouble!” shirt and of course, the biggest piece of hardware yet…

The sVo Roulette Championship over his shoulder!

He raises a hand in the air to hold up the new title and raises his other arm to the cheering crowd. He steps onto the ring apron and eggs the crowd on for a louder response then steps over the ropes to enter the squared circle where a giant roulette wheel has already been placed in the ring. Once the giant of the sVo is inside the ring, the Romanian-born rookie stands with the sVo Roulette Championship on his shoulder and his music cuts.

Big Aug: “Hello, fans of the sVo Wrestlings!”

Cheers from the fired up crowd. He has a big, bright smile on his face.

Big Aug: “First off, my friends, I just want to say thank you for your cheers and your support. I, Big Aug, obviously superhuman athlete that do all of the flippy-doos and flippy-don’ts in this ring and I did the 930 splash off the top of the ladder to crush Absolute Zero and win my first-ever title in professional wrestling.”

The crowd laughs at his somewhat dry joke, but Lazar continues.

Big Aug: “But in all seriousness, Big Aug mean this… thank you. After my NBA career go down big shitter, I had to do something else in order to find meaning in life. Wasn’t much for giant sloth like Big Aug to do until some guys found me and were like, “Hey, Augie, you should do the wrestlings! You big as f**k! So that’s what I did…”

The massive Romanian glares at his title.

Big Aug: “How you think I’m doing so far?”

The crowd once again responds with cheers as he points to the roulette wheel.

Big Aug: “Jon Page right. That thing heavy as hell to lug into ring during the commercial break, but I’m here now. This title… my first title in the wrestlings and I intend to make the Roulette Title THE Title in sVo! I want your inferno matches! Ladder matches! Cage matches! No DQ matches! Stop and Let’s Take a Shot Before The Wrestlings Matches! Body Slam Matches! Reverse Body Slam matches, Finisher Match! You pick it, Big Aug have many ideas for many stipulations in my own head, but it not matter what kind of match it be…”

He points to the title and the wheel.

I defend title against any one, any place, any time! sVo… but first, I will fight the Nathan Judge tonight, non title and tonight, I continue ain streak! Judge… tonight, bro, you get Dunked On!”

His music plays again and he holds the sVo Roulette Title high in the air before he climbs over the ropes again and then exits the ring to head to the back…

He storms up the ramp and then heads to the back with cheers from the crowd while the show moves onward.

Athena: “How about you come and sit down, get your mind on the match tonight.”

Knight shakes his head angrily and keeps on pacing.

Curtis Knight: “I can’t have any repeat of the PPV out there tonight. I can’t believe I finally got my hands on that little bitch Moretti and he somehow weaseled out with a win.”

Knight punches the wall in anger, leaving a big hole in the plaster board.

Athena: “Look, get out there tonight and do what you do best against Money Malone. The Moretti family can’t hide from you forever and this isn’t over. The best way to make them suffer will be to take everything from them…. And the only way to do that will be to win enough matches to make yourself number one contender….”

Knight slowly stops pacing as he thinks about what Athena is saying before coming to a stop and smiling. The scene fades out with Athena and Curtis Knight smiling at each other.

Give Me My Shot

Page looks up at the trio from behind his desk, before slowly rising up to his feet feeling that their might be trouble.

William Vorheez: “Right Page, you seen what I just done to CJ Dreamer out there, time to give me my title shot against Johnny….”

Page looks from Vorheez to the two giants standing either side of him, before looking back at Vorheez and trying to reason with the former two time Champion.

Jon Page: “Look, you it was an impressive match and you are right there at the top of the rankings. So what I will do is book a number one contender match in two weeks on Showdown with you….”

Before Page can finish the sentence, Vorheez slams his fist down on Page’s desk.

William Vorheez: “Fuck that. Did Cody Williams have to fight in a number one contender match when you brought him back and gave him a shot straight away? Next Showdown you give me my shot at Johnny….”

Page takes a few steps back as Vorheez looks up at him angrily.

Jon Page: “Look, we go way back, do we need to have a word in private?”

Page looks up at the two giants Igor and Boris, clearly thinking that Vorheez might be putting on a show in front of his proteges.

William Vorheez: “Anything you want to say to me you can say in front of the guys. Now do I get my shot or not?”

Jon Page: “Best I can do is a #1 contenders match.”

Vorheez sneers at Page, but calls off the Black Brothers and begins to lead them out of the office.

William Vorheez: “Maybe it’s best you don’t do me any ‘favors’ anyway, we all saw how that turned out for Cody Williams….”

Vorheez leaves that hanging in the air as he exits the office, leaving Page to sink back into his seat and consider his options.

Gunning For You

After the big win for the ever-popular August Lazar, the camera cuts backstage where in the interview area Gunner Lang is standing by with Katie Smith. Gunner has a serious look on his face as he stands in front of the ‘sVo’ branded background next to Smith, who as always has a microphone in hand.

Katie Smith: “Gunner, thanks for joining us here tonight. Now you are not in action tonight, what brings you to Showdown?”

Gunner Lang: “There is only one thing that brought me to Showdown tonight Katie and that was getting my hands on JD James and his new pet project Bronson Johnson! They made the mistake of jumping me at Seasons Beatings, now they are both going to have to pay the price. Only problem is that I have searched the entire arena and neither of them had the balls to show up and face me tonight….”

Katie Smith: “Your relationship with JD James seems to have really go downhill fast, did you see this coming at all?”

Gunner Lang: “Katie, I have thought of nothing else since that night at Vendetta when he screwed me out of the shot that I finally got at the sVo Championship. Now I saw the change in Johnny All Star as soon as he started getting desperate thinking that he would end his career without winning the ‘big one’, but I literally never saw it coming from JD. It’s only a few months ago that me, Johnny, Dawin & Hugo would run through brick walls for JD James… I guess maybe his memory is going in his old age and he has forgotten all about when we came back and helped him out.”

Katie Smith: “And what of Bronson Johnson, what do you know about him?”

Gunner rubs the back of his head painfully before answering the question.

Gunner Lang: “I know he hits bloody hard when he is sneak attacking someone from behind, that I definitely know about him. Apart from that, surprisingly little considering he has been in the wrestling business for so long. I know he is a dangerous individual, after all JD James doesn’t put his name behind someone with no talent. I do know that Bronson shouldn’t trust JD James though, especially as he has led him straight onto a collision course with yours truly.”

Lang winks to Katie Smith before slowly walking out of the scene, as Katie smiles into the camera as the scene fades out.
