The entrance video package for Uprising begins, accompanied by the theme song of ‘Uprising’ by Artificial Intelligence as highlights of past action from 2013 to present day are sped up, showing the likes of Bobby Dean, Roscoe Shame, Night, Jay Wildman, Cody Williams & Nathan Paradine. As the video package finally comes to an end with an extended look at the ‘Uprising’ logo, the camera cuts to an exterior shot of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, before cutting to a live shot of inside the arena.

The camera pans around the sold-out crowd, most of them on their feet and screaming loudly whilst trying to get their homemade sign shown in front of the camera. The cameras finally head over to the commentary table, where Julian Fiasco and Jeremiah Sloan welcome the fans watching on TV to the broadcast and begin to break down some of the action that will take place on tonight’s show, including Bronson Johnson competing in the main event!


Single Match
Hiro Ryuu vs. Dale Norman

With Dale Norman waiting patiently in the ring, ‘Starman’ by David Bowie hits the sound system and the fans rise to their feet as the mysterious Hiro Ryuu slowly steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp. Ryuu drops to his knee and raises a finger in the air for a few seconds before slowly pointing his finger down towards the ring. Ryuu then rises to his feet and walks slowly to the ring and rolls under the bottom rope. Ryuu climbs to the second rope of the nearest turnbuckle and looks out at the crowd before backflipping to a standing position in the ring!

The referee calls for the bell to be rung, and the opening match of the night gets started as Ryuu and Norman move towards each other in the middle of the ring. Norman lands some big right hands on Ryuu, before Ryuu fights back with some stiff kicks. Ryuu catches Norman with a knee to the midsection, before grabbing his opponent by the arm and shooting him into the ropes. The rookie bounces back into the middle of the ring and Ryuu knocks him down to the mat with a spinning heel kick!

Norman stumbles back up to his feet, but Ryuu lands some stiff forearm shots, before taking Norman down with an impressive backdrop suplex. Norman holds his head in pain as Ryuu rolls up to his feet and poses for the crowd. Norman tries to get up to his feet, and Ryuu lays into him with some big kicks and stomps. Norman tries to fight back with a clothesline, but Ryuu ducks the arm of his opponent before taking him down with a bridging tiger suplex!

Two,

No!

Norman manages to get a shoulder up just in the nick of time! Ryuu quickly pulls Norman up to his feet and punishes him for kicking out with some stiff knee strikes, before sending him into the corner of the ring. The fans cheer as Ryuu lands a big boot to his cornered opponent! Norman staggers back out to the middle of the ring and Ryuu takes him down to the mat with a flapjack!

With Norman on the mat, the fans cheer as Ryuu pounces on the rookie and locks in a cobra clutch! The referee asks Norman if he wants to quit, but the rookie tries to reach out for the bottom rope! The fans rise to their feet expecting to see a tap out, but somehow Norman manages to grab hold of the bottom rope and the referee calls for a break!

Ryuu looks impressed that his opponent managed to get to the bottom rope, before pulling him up to his feet. Norman looks like he is still feeling the effect of the submission hold, as Ryuu lights up his chest with some knife edge chops! The fans cheer loudly as Ryuu follows up with a springboard dropkick, before calling for his finishing move!

The fans rise to their feet as Ryuu waits for Norman to finally get to his feet, before landing the ‘Tokyo Sunrise’ in the middle of the ring! The fans pop for the big move as Ryuu makes the cover.

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and Hiro Ryuu picks up the three count! The Japanese star rises up to his feet and has his arm raised in the air in victory, before he celebrates the victory with his fans!

Alissia Young vs. Karina Baynard

With her opponent Karina Baynard already in the ring, ‘Welcome To Toronto’ by K Money hits the sound system, and there are loud boos from the crowd as onto the top of the entrance ramp steps Alissia Young of the Canadian Connection! Young signals to the crowd, before slowly walking down the entrance ramp bopping her head to the music. Young rolls into the ring under the bottom rope before climbing to the second rope and staring out at the crowd with her arms folded, before jumping down and preparing for battle as the music fades out.

With both competitors in the ring, the referee calls for the bell to be rung and the action is quickly underway! Baynard and Young circle around each other in the middle of the ring, but Baynard looks for a hip toss takedown. However Young blocks the move before hitting a hip toss of her own. Baynard quickly gets back to her feet, but Young grabs her by the arm and sends her into the ropes, before knocking her off her feet with a dropkick as she bounces back.

Baynard struggles up to her feet, but Young quickly takes her down with a side headlock takedown. Young tries to lock in a submission hold with Baynard on the mat, but Baynard fights out with some big right hands. Young quickly gets to her feet and tries to lock up with her opponent, but Baynard fights back with some right hands before nailing a kick to the midsection. Young doubles over in pain and Baynard takes her down with an impressive snap suplex.

The fans cheer Baynard on as Young gets to her feet holding her back, and Young follows up with a reverse DDT! The fans continue to cheer as Baynard makes the cover!

Young kicks out and keeps her undefeated streak alive!

Baynard looks disappointed as she lands some mounted opponents on the Canadian, before bringing her to her feet. Baynard tries to send Young into the ropes, but Young reverses the Irish whip attempt before taking her opponent down with a back body drop as she bounces back. Baynard quickly springs to her feet and tries to keep in the fight with a clothesline, but Young ducks the attempt and lands a jaw breaker!

Baynard stumbles forward in pain and Young follows up with an impressive swinging neckbreaker in the middle of the ring. With Baynard down and hurting, the fans boo as Alissia Young signals for her finishing move!

Young smirks as the fans boo loudly, whilst she waits for Baynard to get to her feet. Baynard slowly turns around and stumbles straight into the arms of Young, who drills her with a pumphandle uranage, before locking on the ‘Hard Way’ submission hold!

The fans boo loudly as Baynard reaches out desperately for the bottom rope, before quickly having to tap out from the pain! The fans boo loudly as Young keeps the submission hold locked on for a few more seconds, before finally releasing her opponent!

Young gets to her feet and demands that the referee raise her hand in victory, her unbeaten record intact after another submission victory!

Absolute Zero vs. Clam Idia

The Relentless Clam Idia bounces in the corner of the ring as the familiar sound of “Ice, Ice Baby” hits the sound system and the fans cheer as dry ice rises up from the sides of the entrance ramp. After a few seconds, the veteran Absolute Zero steps out of the dry ice and stands at the top of the entrance ramp bobbing his head to the music! The fans cheer Absolute Zero, as he takes a few seconds to acknowledge them before making his way down to the ring and diving in under the bottom rope! Absolute Zero turns and poses for the hard camera with his arms crossed and his head bopping to the music!

The referee calls for the bell to be rung and the action is quickly started as both men circle around each other in the middle of the ring. Idia dives in to tie up with Absolute Zero, but the veteran uses his speed to duck under the arms of his opponent before spinning around and catching him with a big kick. Idia staggers backwards, and Absolute Zero lands some knife edge chops to back his opponent into the corner of the ring.

Zero lands some shoulder blocks to the midsection on his opponent in the corner of the ring, before back flipping away from Idia and landing a big corner dropkick! The fans rise to their feet for the impressive move, as Idia staggers out of the corner. Zero follows up by bouncing off of the ring ropes and landing a bull dog on his opponent, before hitting a lionsault out of the ropes and making the cover on his opponent!

Idia kicks out and this one continues!

Absolute Zero begins his opponent back up to a standing position, before hitting a twisting neckbreaker in the corner of the ring. With Idia down, the fans cheer as Zero heads to the top rope! Zero waits for Idia to get to his feet, before aiming a top rope diving cross body at his opponent! However Idia has the move scouted and rolls through to cover his opponent!

Two,

No!

Zero manages to get a shoulder up his in time to keep himself in the match! Zero staggers back up to his feet, but Idia catches him with some stiff forearms, before landing a snapmare in the middle of the ring. With Zero in a seated position, Idia bounces into the ring ropes before returning with a big knee to the face of his opponent! Zero holds his face in pain as Idia tries to hype up the crowd.

Idia waits for Zero to get up to his feet, before grabbing hold of him in a waist lock. Zero struggles to free himself, but Idia keeps the hold locked on before landing a German suplex in the middle of the ring! The fans give a mixed reaction as Idia makes another cover!

No!

Absolute Zero manages to kick out at the very last second! Clam Idia pounds the mat in frustration, before grabbing his opponent by the hair and pulling him back up to his feet. Idia nails some knife edge chops on his opponent, however this seems to anger Zero who fires back with some knife edge chops of his own!

Idia staggers backwards, and Zero lands a scoop slam on the rookie, before bouncing off of the ropes and hitting an impressive rolling thunder! The fans give a mixed reaction to the move, as Idia staggers back up to his feet only for Zero to land two swingblades in a row on his opponent! Idia staggers up again, but Zero lands a spinning heel kick to almost take his head off, before heading up to the top rope!

The fans in the Goodfellas Casino arena rise to their feet as Zero stands on the top rope and poses for the fans! Idia is motionless on the mat as Zero leaps from the top and lands the ‘Big Freeze’ on the rookie, before making the cover!

Three!

It’s all over and after an impressive high flying move, it is Absolute Zero who picks up the win!

Zero rises up to a standing position and has his arm raised in the air in victory by the referee!

Greg Stanley vs. Joe Barone

With Greg Stanley already in the ring and looking nervous as the cameras head back to ringside, ‘Woke Up This Morning’ by A3 hits the sound system and the fans boo as the red lights flash around the arena. After a few seconds the boos get louder as ‘The Problem Solver’ Joe Barone steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp. Barone poses at the top of the entrance ramp for a few seconds, before slowly walking down the ramp towards the ring. Barone uses his massive size to try and intimidate the fans at ringside as he walks a full circle around the ring, before slowly stepping up onto the ring apron. Barone poses on the ring apron for a few seconds, causing even more boos from the fans, before stepping clean over the top rope and waiting for the match to get started.

The referee calls for the bell to be rung and the action is quickly underway as Greg Stanley runs at Barone and lands some massive big right hands on the Blood Money man to try and get an early advantage in the match. However Barone simply absorbs the punches before laughing them off! Stanley slowly backs away from Barone, but Barone takes a few steps forward before wiping him out with a massive clothesline!

Stanley slowly tries to stagger up to his feet after the massive clothesline, but as he does Barone bounces off of the ring ropes and smashes Stanley with a massive big boot in the middle of the ring! Stanley looks out cold, as Barone calls for his finisher, before quickly scooping his opponent up!

Barone lands the ‘Omerta’ on Stanley in the middle of the ring, before placing a boot on the chest of his opponent to make the cover!

Three!

It’s all over and Joe Barone has picked up another Uprising victory in record time!

Barone quickly climbs out of the ring and makes his way to the backstage area, not even waiting for the referee to raise his arm in victory!

Bronson Johnson vs. Orlando Fox

‘I’m A Man’ by Bo Diddley hits the sound system and the fans in the arena begin to boo loudly as Bronson Johnson slowly walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp, with JD James close behind. Bronson Johnson looks as unimpressed as always as he looks out at the crowd packed into the Goodfellas Casino Arena, before slowly walking down the entrance ramp towards the ring without any bells or whistles. JD James follows closely behind Johnson, but as the brawler steps into the ring and warms up in the corner, JD James stands in the corner and gives some last-minute words of advice before the match gets started.

Boyz-N-Tha-Hood by Eazy E hits the sound system and the fans boo as Orlando Fox slowly steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp and poses for the crowd. Fox slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp, trash talking the fans in the front row as he goes. Fox soon reaches the ring and rolls under the bottom rope and steps onto the bottom rope before performing his signature taunt to the crowd, which brings out even more boos for Fox!

JD James shouts some last minute instructions to his client Bronson Johnson, as the referee calls for the bell to be rung and the action to get started officially. Both men circle around each other, before Johnson looks to lock up with Fox in the middle of the ring, however the former sVo Hardcore Champion ducks under the arm of his opponent, before nailing some big right hands to Bronson Johnson. Johnson fights back with some right hands of his own, but Fox cuts him off with a knee to the midsection. Johnson doubles over in pain and Fox manages to catch him with a massive uppercut.

Johnson staggers away and Fox bounces off of the ring ropes before returning to land a big clothesline on Johnson and send him down to the mat. JD James continues to shout to his client on the outside of the ring, as he struggles to his feet whilst Orlando Fox stomps away on him. Johnson swings wildly with a clothesline in the direction of Fox, but Fox ducks his opponents arm and takes him down with a snap suplex in the middle of the ring. With Johnson down on the mat, Fox rises up to his feet and poses for the crowd to get a mixed reaction.

Fox waits for Johnson to get up to a standing position again, before sending him hard into the corner of the ring. Johnson hits the turnbuckle hard, and Orlando Fox follows up with a big clothesline in the corner of the ring. Johnson staggers out of the corner, and Fox lands a stun gun on his opponent before making the cover!

No!

Just when it looked like the sVo veteran might score an important win, Johnson manages to get his shoulder up off of the mat and keep the match going!

JD James now turns his shouts at the referee as Fox drags Johnson up to his feet. Fox looks to position Bronson Johnson for a piledriver, but as he does JD James jumps up onto the ring apron! The fans boo loudly as Fox pauses momentarily to see what JD James is going to do. However as the referee orders JD James down, the pause costs Fox as Bronson Johnson counters with a back body drop!

Fox staggers up to his feet holding his back in pain, but Bronson Johnson stays on the attack with a stiff elbow strike to his opponents face. Johnson lands some hard knife edge chops on his opponent to back him towards the corner of the ring, before grabbing him by the arm and sending him corner to corner. Fox staggers out of the corner after hitting the turnbuckle hard, and Johnson takes him down to the mat with a knee to the midsection!

The fans boo loudly as JD James cockily taunts the front row on the outside of the ring, as Johnson stomps away on Orlando Fox before choking the former Hardcore Champion out with his boot. The referee counts all the way to five and threatens to DQ Johnson, before he finally releases the choke hold.

The fans boo loudly as Bronson Johnson slowly walks around the ring with a smug look on his face, whilst Orlando Fox struggles up to his feet. Johnson lands a neckbreaker on Fox as he gets to his feet, before JD James gives him the signal to hit his finishing move! The boos continue loudly as Bronson Johnson pulls Orlando Fox up to his feet, before landing a pulling piledriver on him in the middle of the ring! Fox’s head bounces off of the mat, and Bronson Johnson quickly flips him over to make the cover.

Three!

It’s all over and Bronson Johnson picks up another victory on Uprising!

The boos grow even louder as Bronson Johnson rises up to his feet, whilst JD James climbs into the ring and pushes the referee out of the way. JD James holds Bronson Johnson’s arm into the air in victory, as the pair stand over Orlando Fox who is still feeling the effects of being dropped on his head!
