sVo Showdown 244
📺 Live on the Sanctioned Violence Network
📍 Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
📆 12th October 2025

Live from the Goodfellas Casino Arena in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada! The vibrant lights of the strip pour through the glass walls of the arena as the opening pyrotechnics explode above the ring! The crowd is already deafening!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Welcome, everyone, to a massive edition of Showdown 244, live from the Goodfellas Casino Arena! I’m Jeremiah Sloan, alongside Julian Fiasco, and Julian, we are only two weeks away from Ultimate Victory 2025! The pressure is officially ratcheted up!

JULIAN FIASCO: You can feel it in the air, Sloan! Last week was all about alliances breaking down; tonight, it’s about absolute survival! We’ve got a huge, personal main event as Jake Blackwood and Alex Sterling, fresh off their tag team collapse, face off in the Victory Cup semi-final!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: That match alone is worth the price of admission, Julian, but we’re also going to see the ‘Python’ Noah Rogan take on CJ Dreamer! We’ve got Tag Team action as the Sin City Scoundrels return to the ring against the Southern Boys!

JULIAN FIASCO: And let’s not forget about the sVo Championship picture! Carlos Vasquez, who signed the contract with the Champion Kenneth D. Williams last week, is here tonight to take on Victor Holland! Vasquez is hungry, ruthless, and he’s going to tear the place apart trying to prove he deserves to be the champion.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: The tension couldn’t be higher. Every match tonight directly impacts the landscape of Ultimate Victory! We kick things off with a huge singles contest right now!

Single Match
CJ Dreamer vs. Noah Rogan

The dark, chilling, synth-driven theme of Noah Rogan hits the sound system. The lighting inside the Goodfellas Casino Arena drops to an ominous, flickering crimson. Rogan walks slowly to the ring, his face a mask of cold intensity.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: There is the ‘Python’, Noah Rogan, ready for action! After losing to Dylan MacLeod last week, Rogan is going to be exceptionally dangerous tonight. He does not take defeat well.

JULIAN FIASCO: ‘Dangerous’ is an understatement, Sloan. He’s looking for blood. And speaking of danger, here comes his opponent, ‘The Technical Maestro’ CJ Dreamer!

A dramatic, slightly pompous orchestral theme begins. CJ Dreamer emerges, dressed in flashy gear, exuding arrogant confidence as he walks to the ring, seemingly unconcerned about the atmosphere.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: CJ Dreamer has been focused on proving he’s the best technical wrestler in the sVo, but Julian, this is a match between two wrestlers with highly questionable moral compasses.

JULIAN FIASCO: Who cares about their morals? This is a guaranteed fight. And Dreamer is one of the most underrated technicians in the industry, even if he did foolishly turn his back on his protege, Ricky Johnson, a few weeks ago.

The bell rings. Both men circle, sizing each other up. Rogan, relying on his size, immediately lunges, attempting a powerful chokehold, but Dreamer is too quick, ducking underneath and using his agility to slip free.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Dreamer using his speed to evade the predator early!

Dreamer attempts a quick Snapmare, but Rogan simply stops the motion with his weight, then uses his superior reach to clamp down a tight Side Headlock. Dreamer struggles to break the hold, Rogan’s bicep pressing against his temple.

JULIAN FIASCO: This is where Rogan dominates. He controls the pace, controlling the breathing. Dreamer needs to find a way to get this match back on his terms.

Dreamer shoves Rogan into the ropes, and Rogan hits a powerful shoulder tackle on the rebound! Dreamer goes down hard! Rogan follows up, slamming Dreamer into the turnbuckle and driving heavy forearms into his spine.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Rogan is showing that power advantage now, punishing Dreamer in the corner!

Rogan tries for a big Vertical Suplex, but Dreamer uses the rotation to flip out the back! He connects with a perfectly timed Spinning Heel Kick to the side of Rogan’s head! Rogan stumbles, dazed!

Dreamer capitalizes, hitting a rapid series of his signature technical maneuvers: a Diving Blockbuster from the top rope, followed immediately by a quick Fisherman Suplex! Dreamer covers! One! Two! Rogan powers out!

JULIAN FIASCO: What a sequence by Dreamer! That technical proficiency is undeniable, but the Python just won’t stay down!

Dreamer, frustrated, pulls Rogan up and locks in a Guillotine Choke! He cinches it in tight, wrapping his legs around Rogan’s body, attempting to choke him out mid-ring! Rogan is fading, his eyes rolling back in his head!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Rogan is in trouble! He’s trapped in the centre of the ring in Dreamer’s submission! The referee, Brett Lukas, is checking on him!

Just as it looks like Rogan is about to fade, a familiar theme song blasts through the arena: the energetic rock music of Ricky Johnson! The crowd reacts with a mixture of boos and confused chatter!

Dreamer is completely distracted! He breaks the Guillotine Choke, turning his head to look at the entrance ramp, furious that his former protégé is interrupting his moment!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: It’s Ricky Johnson! He’s here! He’s trying to cost Dreamer the match!

Johnson, looking vengeful, emerges from the crowd near the commentary table, brandishing a steel chair! Dreamer realizes he’s been caught and turns back to the ring—right into the waiting arms of Noah Rogan!

Rogan, now fully recovered, wraps his arms around Dreamer’s torso and drives him down with a devastating Python Piledriver!

JULIAN FIASCO: That’s the Piledriver! The ultimate exclamation point! Dreamer was too busy worrying about his past to focus on the present!

Rogan hooks the leg! Referee Lukas slides in and counts the pin! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Bell rings!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Noah Rogan wins! But only because of the brazen interference by Ricky Johnson! Dreamer’s rivalry with his former protégé just cost him a huge match here on Showdown!

Rogan rolls out of the ring, satisfied, while Dreamer clutches his neck, looking up at the entrance ramp in absolute fury, shaking his fist at where Ricky Johnson stood moments ago.

JULIAN FIASCO: A win is a win! And the drama continues to unfold in the sVo! You abandon the people who trust you, Dreamer, and the consequences come back to bite you!

Backstage

The feed cuts backstage to the interview area, lit with the vibrant red and gold logos of Showdown. KATIE SMITH stands holding a microphone, looking professional. Standing next to her is ALEX STERLING, adjusting his flashy gear and sporting a confident, almost arrogant smirk.

KATIE SMITH: Alex, thank you for your time. Tonight is arguably the biggest match of your sVo career: the Victory Cup semi-final against former sVo Champion, Jake Blackwood. After the communication issues you had with him last week in the main event, what is your mindset heading into tonight?

ALEX STERLING: (A dismissive wave of his hand) Communication issues? Katie, there were no communication issues. I communicated perfectly. The problem was Blackwood‘s inability to see the bigger picture. Last week was about proving who the star of that tag match was, and I did that by simply existing. Blackwood gets too caught up in team spirit, and look where it got us—on the losing end.

KATIE SMITH: But tonight, there is no team. It’s just you and him, one-on-one, with a guaranteed shot at the Ultimate Victory final on the line. Jake Blackwood is a former champion, a tough, established veteran. Are you prepared for the intensity he’s going to bring?

ALEX STERLING: Prepared? I am the intensity, Katie. Blackwood is the past. He’s a name on a marquee that the lights don’t hit quite as bright anymore. He relies on tradition, on crowd noise, on being the ‘good guy.’ I rely on talent, on opportunism, and on knowing exactly when to strike. This isn’t a feel-good movie; this is a fight for a massive opportunity, and nobody is more ruthless than the ‘LA Luminary’ when the pressure is on.

KATIE SMITH: You sound certain of victory. What makes you so confident you can defeat a man who has held the top title in this very company?

ALEX STERLING: Because Blackwood is predictable. He’s going to try to wrestle with honor. He’s going to try to win with his finisher, the “Blackout Kick”. But I’m not playing by the hero’s playbook. I have studied him. I know his tells. And when he thinks he has me right where he wants me, that’s when I will pull the rug out from underneath him. Tonight, I promise you and every single person watching, I am walking into that ring and eliminating Jake Blackwood. I am going to the Victory Cup final, because I am not just the future of the sVo, I am the immediate future, and tonight, that future starts right now!

Sterling gives the camera a sly, confident wink before walking out of the shot, leaving Katie Smith to nod soberly into the lens.

KATIE SMITH: A very bold statement from Alex Sterling. We will see if he can back up those words later tonight in the main event. Back to you, commentators.

Tag Team Match
Sin City Scoundrels vs. The Southern Boys

The sound system hits with a classic, upbeat blend of rock and country music, and the crowd gives a friendly, warm cheer for the next team.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Next up, it’s tag team action! Here come the popular Southern Boys—Dave Miller and Dan Williams—accompanied by the lovely Halley Dallas! This team is all about grit, heart, and proving they belong at the top of the tag team division.

JULIAN FIASCO: They’re about as subtle as a donkey in a tuxedo, Sloan. They are decent tag team wrestlers, but they face a major upgrade in competition tonight. The Southern Boys are a target for every ambitious team in the sVo, and tonight they are the prey.

Dave Miller and Dan Williams, wearing classic southern-style wrestling gear, sprint down the ramp, high-fiving the fans. Halley Dallas walks elegantly behind them. They enter the ring, looking focused and ready.

Their music fades, replaced by a dark, high-energy electronic track. The lights flash with neon blue and black.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: And here come their opponents the Sin City Scoundrels—Michael and Lucas Sexton! These two were born and raised in this town, and they embody the chaos of Las Vegas!

JULIAN FIASCO: This is a team that knows how to win. They’ve held titles all over the world. They are fast, they are slick, and they are masters of the high-flying offense, often using that speed to bend the rules to their advantage. They are exactly what the sVo tag division needs.

Michael and Lucas Sexton strut down the ramp, mocking the fans and looking utterly smug. They slide into the ring and immediately start shouting condescending comments at the Southern Boys.

The bell rings. Dave Miller starts for the Southern Boys, facing Lucas Sexton for the Scoundrels. Lucas, trying to show off, attempts a quick Tilt-a-Whirl Arm Drag, but Miller powers through, blocking the move and driving Lucas into the corner with a powerful Irish Whip.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Miller using that raw power to counter the speed of the Scoundrels!

Miller tags in Dan Williams. They hit a quick double-team Flapjack, planting Lucas Sexton hard on the mat! Dan covers! One! Lucas kicks out immediately!

JULIAN FIASCO: They’re trying to out-muscle them, Sloan. Bad idea. You can’t keep these flyers down.

Dan Williams locks Lucas in a strong Abdominal Stretch, grinding him down. Halley Dallas screams encouragement from the outside. As the referee, Brett Lukas, checks on Lucas, Michael Sexton, from the apron, quickly rakes Williams’ eyes across the top rope!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: A cheap shot by Michael Sexton! The Scoundrels are already bending the rules!

Lucas immediately capitalizes, tagging in Michael. They hit a rapid-fire double-team sequence, culminating in a Double Running Knee Strike to Dan Williams’ head! Michael covers! Two-count only!

The Sin City Scoundrels have completely isolated Dan Williams, executing quick tags and utilizing their flashy, tandem offense. They hit a combination move, with Lucas hitting a Tornado DDT while Michael follows up with a Running Knee Strike for a near fall.

JULIAN FIASCO: They are executing their tag team specialties perfectly! The Southern Boys are struggling to keep up with the technical synchronization of the Scoundrels!

Williams tries to fight back, launching a series of headbutts on Lucas, creating space. Lucas stumbles backwards, and Williams leaps, making a desperate, scrambling tag to Dave Miller!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: The hot tag! Dave Miller is in, and he is a house of fire!

Miller charges in, leveling Lucas with a massive Clothesline that flips him inside out! He hits a Spinebuster on Michael Sexton, who tried to interfere! Miller is running wild!

Miller lifts Lucas Sexton up for a massive Military Press Slam, but Michael Sexton rushes the ring, attacking Miller from behind! The referee tries to restore order, getting Michael out of the ring!

While the referee is distracted, Halley Dallas slides into the ring, distracting the dazed Lucas Sexton! She slaps him hard across the face!

JULIAN FIASCO: What the—! Halley Dallas! She’s taking matters into her own hands!

Miller immediately grabs the stunned Lucas and drives him down with his finisher, the Southern Justice—a devastating Sit-Out Powerbomb! Miller covers him! ONE! TWO! Suddenly, Michael Sexton leaps from the apron, hitting a perfect, Flashy Superkick right into the back of Miller’s head! The referee is unaware of the illegal action!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Michael Sexton slides back in and hits the Scoundrel Kick! The referee missed it!

Michael pulls his brother, Lucas, over the downed Miller. Lucas manages to hook the leg! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Bell rings!

JULIAN FIASCO: Yes! The Sin City Scoundrels steal the victory! They used the chaos, they used the illegal interference, and they walked out with the win! That’s how you climb the ladder, Sloan!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: A controversial finish to say the least! The Scoundrels used every dirty trick in the book to defeat the Southern Boys, and Halley Dallas is furious! The ‘Sin City Scoundrels’ escape with the victory!

Backstage

The camera returns to the backstage interview area, where KATIE SMITH is now joined by JAKE BLACKWOOD. Blackwood is breathing heavily, still sweating from a pre-match workout, his focus intense.

KATIE SMITH: Jake, moments ago, we heard from Alex Sterling, who promised to eliminate you from the Victory Cuptonight and claim his spot in the final. After the events of last week, where your alliance completely broke down, how personal has this semi-final match become for you?

JAKE BLACKWOOD: (Voice low and gravelly, full of controlled fury) Personal? Katie, this isn’t just about the Victory Cup anymore. When I stepped into the ring with that spoiled kid last week, I tried to be the professional. I tried to win for the team. But Alex Sterling doesn’t care about the team, he doesn’t care about the fans, and he sure as hell doesn’t care about honor.

KATIE SMITH: Sterling claimed your focus on “honor” and being the “good guy” is what makes you predictable and ultimately what will cost you tonight.

JAKE BLACKWOOD: He calls it predictable, I call it being a man! Sterling is a cockroach, always looking for a cheap escape, a blind tag, a way to make someone else look foolish while he slips away with the glory. Last week, he stood on the apron, watched me fight for my life, and then let me get beaten just to prove a point to the cameras. That wasn’t just selfish; it was a disrespect to everything this sport is supposed to stand for.

KATIE SMITH: So, tonight, is the former sVo Champion focused solely on getting the victory and moving on to Ultimate Victory, or is there an element of revenge driving you?

JAKE BLACKWOOD: It’s both. This tournament means everything. That guaranteed title shot is my ticket back to the top of the mountain. But now… now I’m going into this match with a specific goal, and that’s to wipe that smug smirk right off of Alex Sterling’s face. He wants to talk about my future being the past? Tonight, I’m going to put him on his back and show him exactly why I was the champion and why he’s only ever been the support act. I’m going to beat him clean, I’m going to make him tap, and then he can watch the Victory Cup final from the locker room. This is personal, and I am fired up!

Blackwood turns and walks past the camera, his heavy footsteps echoing the intensity in his words. Katie Smith looks thoughtfully into the lens.

KATIE SMITH: A very different Jake Blackwood tonight. He will be driven by more than just the pursuit of gold in our main event. Back to you.

Single Match
Victor Holland vs. Carlos Vasquez

The arena is plunged into a smoky darkness before a pulsing, synthetic Latin theme hits the sound system. The crowd is immediately divided, with a loud section cheering and an equally loud section booing.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Here comes the number one contender for the sVo Championship at Ultimate Victory, ‘The Miami Maverick’ Carlos Vasquez! He is absolutely buzzing with intensity after signing that contract with Kenneth D. Williams last week.

JULIAN FIASCO: He should be buzzing, Sloan. That guaranteed main event slot is everything in this business, and Vasquez is hungry. He’s all about taking what he feels he deserves, and when he gets focused, he’s a freight train. He’s going to use tonight to prove that KDW made a mistake even showing up to that contract signing.

Carlos Vasquez, dressed in vibrant, expensive-looking gear, strides to the ring with exaggerated confidence, soaking up the mixed reaction. He points to the heavens, then aggressively slashes his hand across his throat.

His music cuts, replaced by a gritty, working-class rock anthem. The crowd unites in a loud, positive cheer.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: And here is a man who is never afraid to fight, the up and comer, Victor Holland! He is known for his incredible endurance and willingness to take a beating, but he’s got his work cut out for him tonight against the determined challenger.

JULIAN FIASCO: Holland is the perfect gatekeeper, Sloan. He’s tough, he’s solid, and he’ll force Vasquez to show if he’s actually a main event player or just a loudmouth.

The bell rings. Vasquez, immediately showcasing his aggression, rushes Holland, driving him into the corner with a relentless thrust of forearms and shoulder blocks. He pulls Holland out and tries for a quick cover, only a one-count!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Vasquez looking to end this fast! He’s trying to overwhelm Holland with sheer force.

Holland fights back with his experience, countering a charging Vasquez with a smart Lou Thesz Press, reigning down stiff punches to the head of Vasquez! Holland throws Vasquez off and hits a low Dropkick to the knee!

JULIAN FIASCO: A smart move! Holland knows he can’t trade power shots with the Maverick, so he’s going for the base!

Holland maintains the pressure, locking in a deep Figure-Four Leglock! Vasquez screams in pain, crawling towards the ropes. He manages to twist his body and punch Holland in the eye, forcing the referee, Brett Lukas, to separate them with a warning!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: A questionable tactic from Vasquez, but he broke the hold! He’s already using that dirty aggression to survive!

Vasquez, incensed, grabs Holland as he gets up and hits a vicious DDT on the ring apron, driving Holland’s head into the hardest part of the ring! The referee begins his count, but Vasquez rolls Holland back in just before the count of five.

Back in the ring, Vasquez takes control. He delivers a textbook Vertical Suplex, holding Holland in the air for an agonizing beat before dropping him. He then begins to mock the crowd and Holland, dropping a knee into Holland’s back and applying a tight Rear Chinlock.

JULIAN FIASCO: Look at the arrogance! Vasquez is enjoying this! He’s methodical, he’s patient, and he’s wearing Holland down for the eventual finish.

Holland begins to fire up, his fists pounding the mat, fueled by the energy of the fans. He powers to his feet, breaks the hold with an elbow, and unleashes a flurry of chops and punches, driving Vasquez back into the corner! Holland climbs the second rope and hits a thunderous Ten-Punch Combination!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Holland with the resurgence! He never quits!

Holland hooks Vasquez for his finisher, the “Steel Cage Driver”—a punishing snap-front suplex—but Vasquez blocks it! Vasquez shoves Holland hard into the corner, spinning him around! As Holland turns, Vasquez delivers a massive, twisting Samoan Drop!

JULIAN FIASCO: Oh! The impact! That’s a move that wins matches!

Vasquez sees his opening. He retreats to the corner, waiting for Holland to stagger to his feet. As Holland rises, Vasquez rushes forward and hits his signature finish, the “Miami Missile”—a devastating High-Impact Running Knee Strike straight to the side of Holland’s head!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: The Miami Missile! He got him! That knee was absolutely lights out!

Vasquez collapses into the cover, hooking the leg with purpose! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Bell rings!

JULIAN FIASCO: Yes! A huge, definitive win for Carlos Vasquez! Holland was tough, but Vasquez proves he is ready for Ultimate Victory! He showed focus, he showed intensity, and he showed KDW exactly what’s coming for him!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Carlos Vasquez moves on, building maximum momentum heading into his championship clash! The challenger is red hot here on Showdown!

Backstage

The camera cuts to the COO’s office, the setting sun casting long shadows across the expensive furnishings. AMY PAGE is seated behind her desk, tapping a manicured finger against a tablet. Standing before her, looking menacing in their sVo Tag Team Championship belts, are her enforcers, SCOTT WASHINGTON and RICK REID—the current champions.

AMY PAGE: (Speaking with a cool, imperious authority) Gentlemen. My champions. We have a problem, and next week, you are going to solve it.

SCOTT WASHINGTON: (A low, confident rumble) Name it, boss.

AMY PAGE: The problem is a resurgence of amateurism. Specifically, two overgrown children running around here acting like they’ve earned something. I’m talking about Gator Bates and The Alabama Kid—the team everyone is foolishly calling ‘The SEC.’

RICK REID: (A sneer playing on his lips)Yeah, we’ve seen them. They look like they should be flipping burgers, not holding down a roster spot.

AMY PAGE: Precisely. They are a distraction. They take up valuable airtime, and they do not represent the polished, aggressive, high-stakes brand I am building here at the sVo. The fans are delusional, buying into their folksy charm. You two, however, are the definition of professionalism. You are power. You are gold.

SCOTT WASHINGTON: So, you want us to shut them up?

AMY PAGE: No, Scott. I want you to make an example of them. Next week, I want you to give them a beating that proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that they do not belong in a top-tier company like the sVo. I don’t just want a win; I want a massacre.

RICK REID: (Grinning, licking his lips) A massacre. I like the sound of that. They think they can stand next to the best? We’ll show them the true difference between a couple of kids with attitude and the two baddest men in the company.

AMY PAGE: Good. When you’re done with them, I want them stretchered out. I want the message to be loud and clear: if you are not elite, you will be destroyed. Go make me proud, champions.

Scott Washington and Rick Reid exchange a dark, knowing look. They nod in unison to Amy Page before turning and exiting the office, their heavy boots echoing on the polished floor. Amy Page watches them leave, a small, satisfied smirk playing on her face.

Victory Cup Semi Final Match
Jake Blackwood vs. Alex Sterling

The arena is buzzing. The lights are focused intensely on the ring, setting the scene for a high-stakes, deeply personal encounter. The rhythmic, powerful entrance theme of Jake Blackwood hits the sound system, and the crowd rises to their feet in support.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: The time has come! It is our main event of Showdown 244, the Victory Cup semi-final! The crowd is on their feet for the former sVo Champion, Jake Blackwood! Driven by the opportunity and by the promise of vengeance on his opponent!

JULIAN FIASCO: Blackwood is all fury, Sloan. But fury blinds you. He’s going to come in here looking to fight the man, not looking to win the tournament. And that is exactly what the ‘LA Luminary’ is counting on.

Blackwood, his face a grim mask of determination, sprints down the ramp and slides into the ring, immediately pacing and glaring at the entranceway.

The music abruptly changes to the flashy, arrogant electronic theme of Alex Sterling. Sterling takes his time, swaggering onto the stage with a smug smile, clearly relishing the main event spotlight.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: And here is the man who promised he would eliminate Blackwood tonight: Alex Sterling! He has been nothing but dismissive and disrespectful to Blackwood all night.

JULIAN FIASCO: He’s a winner, Sloan. And winners focus on the result, not on handshakes. The result tonight is Sterling booking his ticket to the Victory Cup final at Ultimate Victory!

VICTORY CUP SEMI-FINAL MATCH: JAKE BLACKWOOD vs. ALEX STERLING

The bell rings. Blackwood doesn’t wait; he charges Sterling immediately, driving him into the corner with a relentless series of Closed-Fist Punches to the head! The crowd roars as Blackwood unleashes his pent-up frustration!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Blackwood going straight to the attack! This is personal now!

Sterling tries to escape, but Blackwood drags him back to the center and hits a massive Back Body Drop that sends Sterling flipping high into the air! Blackwood tries for a quick cover, but Sterling kicks out at one, scrambling away to the ropes.

JULIAN FIASCO: Blackwood is letting his emotions control him! He needs to conserve energy, not try to end the match in thirty seconds!

Blackwood attempts a devastating Powerbomb, but Sterling slips down the back, hooking Blackwood’s arm and driving him shoulder-first into the turnbuckle post! The crowd boos loudly as Sterling immediately goes on the offense.

Sterling, focused now, delivers a rapid series of Stomps to the injured shoulder. He then locks in a precise Fujiwara Armbar, wrenching the joint, forcing Blackwood to scream in pain!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Sterling is attacking the weak point! He scouted Blackwood’s strategy perfectly!

Blackwood powers up, refusing to submit, and manages to hoist Sterling onto his shoulders, slamming him backwards into the corner to break the hold! Both men are staggered!

Blackwood hits a flying Clothesline and regains the momentum. He executes a flawless Northern Lights Suplex, holding the bridge for a dramatic two-count! He immediately follows with a Knee Drop to the chest of Sterling!

JULIAN FIASCO: Blackwood showing his fighting spirit! But that shoulder is clearly hurting him!

Blackwood signals for his finishing maneuver. He waits for Sterling to stand, preparing for the Blackout Kick. He charges, but his injured shoulder slows him down just a fraction! Sterling ducks the kick!

As Blackwood turns, Sterling connects with a Pelé Kick! Blackwood is dazed! Sterling then hits the Blackout—his devastating Snap DDT! Sterling covers Blackwood! One! Two! Kick out!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Blackwood kicks out! He survived the Blackout!

Frustration flashes across Sterling’s face. He argues with the referee, Brett Lukas, demanding a faster count. As Lukas backs Sterling off, Sterling quickly reaches into his trunks, pulling out a small, brass knuckle he had taped to his wrist!

JULIAN FIASCO: Oh, here we go! That’s the opportunistic brilliance of the ‘LA Luminary’!

Blackwood staggers to his feet, still dazed. Sterling rushes forward, concealing the brass knuckle in his palm, and delivers a lightning-fast Knuckle-assisted Superkick right to the temple of Blackwood!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: NO! A foul blow! He’s using an illegal object! The referee didn’t see it!

Sterling instantly discards the knuckle, letting it slide out of the ring unseen by the official. He hooks the leg of the now-unconscious Blackwood! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Bell rings!

JULIAN FIASCO: He did it! Alex Sterling is going to the Victory Cup final! He promised he would eliminate Blackwood, and he delivered!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: This is an outrage! Sterling cheated! He used brass knuckles, and the referee completely missed it! This is a tainted victory! But the result stands: Alex Sterling has advanced to the Victory Cup final at Ultimate Victory!

Sterling immediately grabs a microphone, stepping over the downed Blackwood and yelling at the enraged crowd. He raises his arm in arrogant celebration, the ultimate heel move. Blackwood slowly stirs, looking around, utterly defeated and betrayed.

ALEX STERLING: You hear that, Vegas?! I told you! I told you I was the future! I am going to Ultimate Victory, and I am going to win the whole damn tournament! Jake Blackwood, you are officially ELIMINATED! Enjoy the view from the sidelines!

Sterling throws the mic down and struts up the ramp, leaving the fallen, emotionally and physically drained Blackwood lying heartbroken in the ring.
