sVo Showdown 241
📺 Live on the Sanctioned Violence Network
📍 Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
📆 21st September 2025
(FADE IN: A fast-paced, high-energy rock theme—a custom sVo anthem—blasts through the arena. The camera pans quickly over the cheering crowd inside the Goodfellas Casino Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.)
(The sVo SHOWDOWN graphic flashes brightly on the screen, followed by a montage of today’s key competitors : Danny Domino delivering a Domino Effect; Ricky Johnson hitting the Phoenix Rising; Cade Turner applying the Iron Lock submission; Joe Barone hitting the Sleeping With the Fishes ; and Victor Holland soaring with a Skyfall.)
(The camera cuts to the commentary desk at ringside, where Jeremiah Sloan and Julian Fiasco are seated.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Welcome, everyone, to a packed Goodfellas Casino Arena for sVo Showdown! I’m Jeremiah Sloan, joined by my colleague, the former Hostility Wrestling Champion, Julian Fiasco. Julian, the road to Ultimate Victory 2025 and the Victory Cup finale runs straight through Las Vegas tonight!
JULIAN FIASCO : That’s right, Sloan. Tonight is Showdown 241, and every man in this tournament is fighting for a spot in those Quarter Finals. We’re talking about a cup that means a guaranteed World Title shot, and tonight we see four incredible matchups. Every single one of them is huge.
JEREMIAH SLOAN : You know, Fiasco, as someone who always calls things straight, I have to say the level of competition in this Victory Cup is unparalleled. We have four incredible first-round matchups tonight, starting with a true test of grit when ‘Double D’ Danny Domino squares off against Brice Brantley!
JULIAN FIASCO : And you know ‘The Bully’ is going to bring that old-school, punishing offense. He doesn’t care if you like him or hate him , only if you respect that he’s a former sVo Champion! That’s what I appreciate, Sloan.
JEREMIAH SLOAN : We also have a fantastic match between the high-energy technical flyer, Ricky Johnson—’The Underdog’ —taking on the hometown hero, Jason Martel—’The Ace of Vegas’. That match is going to light this arena on fire!
JULIAN FIASCO : Oh, Ricky Johnson is all heart, Sloan, but Jason Martel is the Las Vegas veteran. The Vegas Jackpot is a move designed for big moments, and tonight is a big moment. He’s going to use that ring IQ to outmaneuver the youngster.
JEREMIAH SLOAN : Then we have a classic case of new-school vs. old-school mentality when the MMA-trained ‘Iron Fist’ Cade Turner battles the respected veteran, CJ Dreamer.
JULIAN FIASCO : Dreamer is beloved by the fans, but Turner is a ruthless, arrogant heel who literally uses an MMA-style crossface—the Iron Lock —to finish opponents. He doesn’t care about honor, he cares about humiliating people. I’d be watching that one very closely.
JEREMIAH SLOAN : And finally, our main event: the cold, ruthless ‘Problem Solver’ of Blood Money, Joe Barone , clashes with the incredibly explosive ‘Rising Star’ Victor Holland!
JULIAN FIASCO: Talk about a clash of styles. Barone is a methodical, raw-strength brawler whose finisher is literally called Sleeping With the Fishes. Holland is a Young Blood high-flyer with everything to prove. If Barone can drag that kid into the mud, he wins. But if Holland hits the Skyfall, it’s over!
JEREMIAH SLOAN: An absolutely loaded card tonight as the Victory Cup Quarter Finals start to take shape. Let’s send it to the ring for our first match, but don’t go anywhere because this is Showdown, and the action starts right now!
Backstage
(The camera finds DANNY DOMINO doing high-intensity push-ups on a worn gym mat. He finishes a brutal set, letting out a sharp exhale, and immediately begins stretching his neck. He is in his ring gear, breathing heavily, his face set in a grim mask of pure, ugly concentration. The area is dimly lit, focusing on the intensity of the moment.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN (V.O.): A look at ‘the bully’ Danny Domino, the former sVo Champion, preparing for his opening round match in the Victory Cup against Brice Brantley. Domino knows a win here is essential to his path back to the top.
JULIAN FIASCO (V.O.): He looks intense, Sloan. Domino is all business. He doesn’t leave anything to chance. He’s a machine who knows how to break someone down piece by piece. Brice Brantley needs to watch his back and his front.
(A sleek, expensive shoe taps on the concrete floor just outside the light. DD stops stretching. He doesn’t need to look up to know who it is. AMY PAGE, the sVo COO, steps into the frame, impeccably dressed in a razor-sharp suit and radiating cold, corporate power. She holds a tablet and barely glances at him.)
AMY PAGE: Don’t stop on my account, Danny. I like seeing my assets focused.
DANNY DOMINO: (Without emotion, standing up slowly, his height slightly intimidating) I’m always focused, Amy. This is the Victory Cup. The best way to get a title shot without having to play any of your games.
AMY PAGE: (A slight, dismissive smirk plays on her lips) ‘Games’ are what keep the lights on, ‘Double D.’ But tonight, this is a business transaction. Brice Brantley is a mid-card guy. Nothing more. He’s a placeholder. And you, Danny Domino, are a former World Champion.
DANNY DOMINO: I know who I am.
AMY PAGE: Do you? Because I need a statement tonight. I need ‘The Bully’ to live up to the name. I need you to not just beat him, Danny. I need you to crush him. I need people talking about how this tournament is already over because Danny Domino is in it. Ratings don’t come from close calls and feel-good stories. They come from dominant, undeniable violence.
(AP steps closer, her voice dropping, the light catching the sharp, dangerous look in her eyes.)
AMY PAGE: I’ve got a lot of plates spinning around here, Danny. I need you to be a sure thing. If you go out there and struggle… if you underperform… or God forbid, if you lose to someone like Brantley… well, let’s just say I’ll have to reconsider who I invest my time and my opportunities in. And I’m a woman who always finds a way to make things very difficult for people who waste my time. Understand?
DANNY DOMINO: (His jaw clenches, a vein throbbing in his neck. He stares back at her, his voice a low, gravelly growl) I understand. Brice Brantley gets the Domino Effect tonight. Hard and fast. The only thing struggling will be his breathing.
AMY PAGE: (Nods, satisfied, checking her tablet without another glance at him) Good. Now go make me money. Your music is playing.
(AP pivots sharply and walks out of the frame. DD remains standing, his fists clenching and unclenching at his sides. He turns his gaze toward the tunnel entrance, his face now a mixture of cold rage and determined focus. The camera holds on his intense eyes for a beat.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN (V.O.): Did you hear that, Fiasco? The COO laying down the law. It sounds like there’s a lot more on the line for Danny Domino tonight than just the Victory Cup.
JULIAN FIASCO (V.O.): Amy Page is all business, Sloan! She needs results, and she’s not afraid to use threats to get them. Now we know why Domino is looking so motivated—it’s not just the trophy; it’s his whole career in the sVo that’s on the line!
Victory Cup Match
Brice Brantley vs. Danny Domino
(The arena lights drop to black. A heavy, industrial metal beat begins to play—DANNY DOMINO’S theme, accompanied by a quick flash of crimson light. The crowd boos vociferously. DD strides down the ramp, clad in black trunks and boots, wearing a scowl that could curdle milk. He stares straight ahead, completely ignoring the fans, his body language communicating pure, ruthless intent.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: ‘The Bully’ is here, and he’s got the weight of the COO’s words on his shoulders. Amy Page made it very clear what she expects tonight: total domination.
JULIAN FIASCO: This man is laser-focused, Sloan. He’s a pitbull. He’s not here to wrestle; he’s here to fight, grind you down, and collect a paycheck. Brantley’s going to find out what sVo-style brutality feels like very quickly.
(DD enters the ring, immediately pacing the perimeter like a caged animal, glaring at the hard camera.)
(The lights snap back on, illuminating the ring. The music abruptly changes to a slick, modern EDM track. BRICE BRANTLEY—athletic, confident, wearing gear that seems a little too pristine—walks out to a mixed reaction. There are cheers, but a noticeable contingent of boos—a heel getting a polarizing reaction.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: And here is Brice Brantley! A technical specialist, a high-level competitor from X-Pro, making his official sVo debut. He’s also a member of ‘The SEC,’ and tonight, he steps into the Victory Cup.
JULIAN FIASCO: This is the most important night of his career, Sloan. He’s got a big target on his back, representing ‘The SEC’ in their first major sVo tournament. Brantley is all about the technique, the submissions, the wrestling—but can he handle the raw power of Domino?
(Brantley enters the ring, taking his time, making sure to acknowledge the mixed crowd before turning his attention to DD. Referee Brett Lukas calls for the bell.)
(The bell rings. DD immediately charges across the ring, looking for a cheap shot, but Brantley side-steps and ducks through the ropes to catch a breather. DD looks disgusted.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: A smart move by Brantley. He knows he can’t trade punches with ‘The Bully.’
(DD forces a collar-and-elbow tie-up. It’s a test of strength, and DD easily shoves Brantley back into the corner with raw power. He delivers a stiff forearm shot to the chest that echoes in the arena.)
JULIAN FIASCO: The punishment starts early! That’s ‘The Bully’ brand of wrestling!
(DD lays in a series of punishing clubbing blows to the back of Brantley’s neck, forcing him down. DD then lifts Brantley and connects with a powerful Snap Suplex in the center of the ring. Cover: 1—kick out!)
(DD maintains the offensive, stomping on Brantley’s wrist and then wrenching the arm into a grinding Hammerlock. Brantley writhes, using his technical ability to spin and reverse the hold into a standing Headlock. DD grimaces, realizing he’s in a technical wrestling match now.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Brantley showing his technical prowess! He transitioned from defense to offense in a blink.
(DD, frustrated, uses his raw strength to lift Brantley off his feet while in the Headlock, then drives him backward into the turnbuckle post twice to break the hold. Brantley stumbles, clutching his head.)
(DD seizes the advantage, hitting a Running Boot to a seated Brantley in the corner. He then drags the newcomer to his feet and executes a massive Vertical Suplex, holding him suspended for an extra second for emphasis. Cover: 1—2—shoulder up!)
JULIAN FIASCO: Oh, that power! Domino is making a statement, just like Amy Page ordered.
(DD tries to keep Brantley grounded, applying a tight Rear Chin Lock. Brantley fights back, struggling to his knees, then using a burst of energy to break free and hit a Spinning Heel Kick that catches DD on the jaw!)
(DD is stunned, staggering back against the ropes. Brantley sees his opening and hits a Tornado DDT off the middle rope! DD collapses, finally vulnerable. Cover by Brantley: 1—2—DD powers out at the last second!)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: What an incredible counter! Brantley found the small crack in Domino’s armor and exploited it!
(Both men are down. They slowly crawl to their feet. Brantley is up first and charges DD, but DD catches him in mid-air! Fallaway Slam! DD rolls through, pulling Brantley up immediately.)
(DD attempts his signature Domino’s Theory (Spinebuster), but Brantley slips out the back! Brantley quickly grabs DD’s arm and snaps it down across his knee. He then applies a tight Armbar submission in the center of the ring, wrenching DD’s elbow!)
JULIAN FIASCO: He’s trying to snap the arm! That’s the technical mind of Brice Brantley at work! He’s targeting a body part!
(DD screams in pain, inches away from the ropes. He uses his free hand to scratch at Brantley’s face—a nasty, cheating maneuver! Brantley recoils in pain, breaking the hold and allowing DD to scramble to the ropes.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Did you see that? A rake to the eyes! DD is a despicable competitor!
(The referee warns DD, who just smirks. DD capitalizes on the eye trauma, charging Brantley as he stumbles away from the ropes. Big Clothesline! Brantley flips inside out!)
(DD is breathing heavily, sensing the end. He takes a moment, stalking his prey. As Brantley tries to push himself up, DD lifts him off the mat, hooks the arms, and drives him down with the patented DOMINO EFFECT (Dominator)! It’s a sickening impact!)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: The Domino Effect! The end of the road for the newcomer!
(DD hooks the leg for the cover.)
BRETT LUKAS: 1! BRETT LUKAS: 2! BRETT LUKAS: 3!
(The bell rings! DANNY DOMINO wins! The crowd boos heavily as DD slowly gets to his feet, barely selling the pain and instead focusing on his victory.)
JULIAN FIASCO: And that’s what Amy Page wanted! Dominance! ‘The Bully’ gets the job done and moves into the Victory Cup Quarter Finals!
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Brice Brantley put up a valiant effort in his sVo debut, but the raw, cheating power of Danny Domino was just too much tonight. Domino survives and advances!
(DD stands over the fallen Brantley, kicking him one final time in the ribs before looking directly at the camera with a sneer. FADE OUT.)
Backstage
(The camera is focused on KATIE SMITH (KS), the sVo Lead Interviewer, holding a microphone. She stands confidently, dressed professionally. Beside her, RICKY JOHNSON (RJ) bounces slightly on the balls of his feet, his energy barely contained. He is already taped up and looks ready for action, radiating enthusiasm and determination.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN (V.O.): Up next in the Victory Cup is a massive challenge for ‘The Underdog’, Ricky Johnson, as he takes on the sVo Las Vegas Champion, Jason Martel!
JULIAN FIASCO (V.O.): Martel is known as ‘The Ace of Vegas’ for a reason, Sloan. He’s got the ring knowledge and the experience. Johnson needs to bring more than heart tonight.
KATIE SMITH: I’m here with Ricky Johnson, ‘The Underdog’, just moments before the biggest match of his career, a first-round contest in the Victory Cup against the Las Vegas Champion, Jason Martel. Ricky, the title is not on the line, but a shot at the sVo Championship is. How big is this opportunity for you?
RICKY JOHNSON: (Grinning widely, eyes shining with excitement) Katie, you said it right there—’The biggest match of my career.’ This isn’t just about advancing in a tournament, this is about proving I belong in the conversation with the elite of the sVo. Jason Martel is the Las Vegas Champion, he’s the standard, he’s the man who holds the gold. Tonight, I step in the ring with a champion, and I’m going to take him to his limit. I’ve always been ‘The Underdog,’ but I’m hungry. That Victory Cup trophy is my ticket, Katie. I’m taking a big step toward that gold, and I’m going to do it tonight.
KATIE SMITH: Martel has the clear size advantage and the experience edge in this arena. The crowd is split for him, being a local favorite. What’s your strategy to neutralize ‘The Ace’?
RICKY JOHNSON: My strategy is simple: speed and aerial offense. Martel is strong, sure, but he can’t catch what he can’t see. I’m going to use the whole ring. I’m going to fly. And when I hit the Phoenix Rising, that’s it. Champion or not, he’s going down, and I’m moving on to the Quarter Finals! I have to win this.
KATIE SMITH: (Her expression turns serious, her tone softening slightly) Ricky, I have to ask you about something more personal. A few weeks ago, your mentor, the man you looked up to, CJ Dreamer, betrayed you. He attacked you. How does it feel to know that someone who guided you stabbed you in the back?
(RJ’s smile vanishes. His breathing hitches slightly, and his focus shifts away from the coming match to a deeper, more painful topic. His intense, determined look replaces the excitement.)
RICKY JOHNSON: (Voice drops to a low, tight intensity) It hurt, Katie. It hurt bad. CJ Dreamer wasn’t just a mentor; he was… a friend. He was the guy who told me to never give up, the guy who showed me how to fly. And then he turned into everything he told me not to be. A backstabbing, bitter snake.
RICKY JOHNSON: But you know what? He taught me one final, important lesson: I can’t trust anyone in this business. Not even the guys who shake your hand. Tonight, I’m focusing that anger, that hurt, on Jason Martel. I’m doing this for me. I’m doing this to prove I never needed CJ Dreamer. When I raise that Victory Cup trophy, and when I hold the sVo Championship, I’ll have one person to thank: Ricky Johnson!
(RJ slams his fist into his open palm, his focus back to 100% on the match. He nods sharply to Katie Smith and walks out of the frame with a renewed sense of purpose.)
KATIE SMITH: Back to you, commentary.
JEREMIAH SLOAN (V.O.): A fired-up Ricky Johnson, Julian. That betrayal by CJ Dreamer has clearly added a layer of intensity to ‘The Underdog.’
JULIAN FIASCO (V.O.): He’s angry, Sloan, and that makes him dangerous. But anger doesn’t win tournaments. Ring savvy wins tournaments. Let’s see if he can channel that emotion into a victory against a veteran like Martel.
(FADE OUT to the ring entrance for the next match.)
Victory Cup Match
Ricky Johnson vs. Jason Martel
(The arena is buzzing. JASON MARTEL’S music, a driving, upbeat rock track, hits, and the crowd pops loudly. Martel, wearing the sVo Las Vegas Championship proudly around his waist, emerges to a hero’s welcome. He’s a powerful, well-conditioned athlete, and he slaps hands with fans on the way to the ring, acknowledging his status as ‘The Ace of Vegas.’)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Here comes the Las Vegas Champion, Jason Martel! The title might not be on the line, but a spot in the Victory Cup Quarter Finals absolutely is. He’s carrying the weight of this city on his back, Fiasco.
JULIAN FIASCO: And he thrives on it, Sloan. Martel has the experience, the power, and he knows this arena better than anyone. He’s not just a champion; he’s a proven winner.
(Martel enters the ring, raises his title to the four corners, and hands it to the timekeeper.)
(The music switches to a hopeful, energetic theme, signaling the arrival of RICKY JOHNSON. The crowd cheers for ‘The Underdog.’ He sprints down the ramp, full of nervous energy and excitement, high-fiving the fans quickly before sliding into the ring.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: And here is the man who is absolutely pouring his heart out for this opportunity, Ricky Johnson. He’s got speed, he’s got heart, and he has a point to prove after that betrayal by CJ Dreamer.
JULIAN FIASCO: He’s got the fire, but he needs to contain it. Martel is going to try to ground him. Johnson’s technical ability and high-flying offense are his keys, but he cannot get caught in Martel’s power game.
(The two men meet in the center of the ring. Martel, the champion, extends his hand. Johnson immediately accepts, shaking firmly and looking Martel dead in the eye, a clear sign of respect from both competitors. Referee Brett Lukas checks both men. The bell rings.)
(The match begins with a cautious exchange. Johnson uses his speed to circle, attempting to frustrate Martel. Martel smiles, calm and confident, and catches Johnson on the first attempt at a lock-up, cinching in a powerful Side Headlock. Johnson struggles, bouncing off the ropes to break it.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Martel immediately trying to slow the pace, using his strength to lock things down.
(The pace quickens! Johnson ducks a charging clothesline, hits a Tornado DDT to temporarily stun Martel, and immediately follows up with a fast Plancha over the top rope to the floor! The crowd is electric!)
JULIAN FIASCO: There’s the explosiveness! Johnson knows he has to keep the champion off-balance!
(Johnson tosses Martel back into the ring, cover: 1—2—kick out!)
(Johnson maintains the pressure, hitting a beautiful Tilt-a-Whirl Arm Drag that sends Martel spinning, then applies a tight Armbar submission, trying to wear down the champ’s strength.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Look at the technique on ‘The Underdog’! He’s wrestling like a man possessed, trying to earn this win.
(Martel, using his veteran instinct, rolls through the submission and manages to muscle Johnson up onto his shoulders for a vicious Electric Chair Drop! Johnson crashes hard onto the mat. Martel covers: 1—2—kick out!)
(Martel now takes control, slowing the match down with grinding, impactful offense. He delivers a series of stiff Knee Strikes to the gut, followed by a Snapmare and a brutal Running Boot to the small of Johnson’s back.)
JULIAN FIASCO: Now Martel is in his element. He’s making Johnson pay for that high-flying. He’s putting the weight of the Las Vegas Championship division on him!
(Martel attempts a Powerbomb, but Johnson uses his agility to counter, flipping out of the hold! He pushes Martel off the ropes and connects with a Running Knee Strike that rocks the champion!)
(Martel stumbles, leaning against the turnbuckle. Johnson charges! He hits a second Running Knee Strike! Martel is on wobbly legs! Johnson climbs to the top rope—the crowd is on its feet!)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: He’s going for the Phoenix Rising!
(Johnson leaps! He connects with the beautiful Phoenix Rising (450 Splash)! It looks devastating! Cover! 1—2—MARTEL KICKS OUT!)
JULIAN FIASCO: NO! The champion survives! The champion has too much heart! He weathered the storm!
(Johnson is devastated, holding his head in frustration. He immediately goes back to Martel, trying to lift him, but the Las Vegas Champion catches him with a sudden, beautiful Picture Perfect Dropkick out of nowhere!)
(Both men are down, selling the exhaustion. Martel, relying on instinct, crawls to the corner. Johnson slowly pulls himself up. As Johnson rushes forward, Martel springs up, ducks a clothesline, and catches Johnson in a full Fireman’s Carry position!)
(Martel connects with his finishing maneuver, the VEGAS JACKPOT (Death Valley Driver)! A massive impact in the center of the ring!)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: The Vegas Jackpot! That is all she wrote!
(Martel hooks the leg for the cover.)
BRETT LUKAS: 1! BRETT LUKAS: 2! BRETT LUKAS: 3!
(The bell rings! JASON MARTEL wins and advances to the Quarter Finals!)
JULIAN FIASCO: The Las Vegas Champion moves on! He proved tonight why he holds that gold and why he’s considered ‘The Ace’!
(Martel rolls off Johnson, breathing heavily, and sits on his knees. He sees Johnson struggling to move and immediately goes to him. Martel helps Johnson to his feet, pulling him into a respectful embrace. The crowd applauds the show of sportsmanship.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: That’s the respect you see from two fan favorites. They fought tooth and nail, and in the end, the better man won, but the respect remains.
(Martel raises Johnson’s arm in the air before raising his own. Johnson looks disappointed but nods in acknowledgment to the crowd and Martel before exiting the ring. Martel stands tall, pointing to the Victory Cup banner hanging from the rafters.)
Backstage
(The camera finds KATIE SMITH (KS) waiting. CJ DREAMER (CJD) strolls into the frame, dressed in expensive-looking street clothes, looking smug and utterly unbothered. He has a dismissive, arrogant air about him.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN (V.O.): CJ Dreamer is set to compete in the next Victory Cup match against the dangerous Cade Turner, but first, he’s with Katie Smith.
JULIAN FIASCO (V.O.): Dreamer is focused on one thing: advancing. But he can’t resist taking a jab at his former protégé, can he?
KATIE SMITH: I’m joined now by CJ Dreamer, just before his Victory Cup match against Cade Turner. CJ, earlier tonight, the man who used to look up to you, Ricky Johnson, lost his first-round match against Jason Martel. What’s your reaction to ‘The Underdog’ being eliminated?
CJ DREAMER: (A cruel, slow smile spreads across his face. He actually chuckles softly, shaking his head with faux pity.) Oh, Ricky Johnson. Did he really lose? Poor kid. See, Katie, that right there is exactly why I cut him loose.
(CJD leans into the mic, dropping his voice to a condescending murmur.)
CJ DREAMER: Johnson is an Underdog because that’s all he will ever be. He’s all heart and no brain. He’s cute, he does his little flips, and he loses to champions. He doesn’t belong here in the sVo; he belongs in those tiny indie rings where moral victories and “trying hard” actually matter. Ricky was riding my coattails for far too long, thinking my wisdom could rub off on him. Tonight proved it couldn’t. I needed to focus on my career, Katie. And dead weight gets dropped.
KATIE SMITH: You were his mentor, CJ. Do you have any regret about the way you handled that split, or what it might have done to him emotionally?
CJ DREAMER: Regret? The only thing I regret is not cutting him loose sooner. I did him a favor, Katie. I showed him the harsh reality of this business. He’s emotional, he’s soft, and now he’s out of the most important tournament of the year.
CJ DREAMER: Now, let’s talk about someone who does belong here: me. Unlike my failed experiment, I am advancing. Next up, I have Cade Turner. Another hard-headed, arrogant individual who thinks his MMA style can stop the best pure wrestler in the sVo. Turner is a bump in the road.
(CJD straightens up, his voice regaining a steely, intense edge.)
CJ DREAMER: I will beat Turner. I will do what Ricky Johnson couldn’t do—I will progress in this tournament, because unlike Ricky, I am not a stepping stone; I am the destination. I am the man who will win the Victory Cup and finally get the respect I deserve. Ricky Johnson proved tonight he is nothing. I’m about to prove I am everything.
(CJD gives Katie a sharp, arrogant nod, ignoring her attempt to follow up, and walks purposefully toward the arena entrance, completely focused on his impending match.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN (V.O.): Absolutely despicable from CJ Dreamer. That venom toward Ricky Johnson is palpable.
JULIAN FIASCO (V.O.): He doesn’t care about anything but himself, Sloan. And now he has a huge task ahead of him against Cade Turner. But with that kind of focus, Dreamer is always dangerous.
(FADE OUT to the ring.)
Victory Cup Match
Cade Turner vs. CJ Dreamer
(The lights dim as an aggressive, driving theme—CADE TURNER’S music—hits. He strides out with intense focus, his gear looking more functional than flashy, embodying his ‘Iron Fist’ persona. He nods briefly to the cheering crowd, his mind already on the task at hand.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Here we go! The next Victory Cup contest features the MMA-trained submission machine, Cade Turner! He’s known for his ruthless efficiency in the ring.
JULIAN FIASCO: Turner is all business, Sloan. He doesn’t do flips; he does damage. His Iron Lock submission has ended careers, and he’s going to look to make CJ Dreamer his next victim.
(Turner enters the ring, intensely shadowboxing to stay loose.)
(The music shifts to a sleek, modern track, accompanied by a mixture of cheers and boos. CJ DREAMER emerges, taking his time, basking in the attention with an air of arrogant superiority. He looks directly at the camera with a smug smirk, clearly still riding the high of his interview.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: And here is CJ Dreamer, still gloating over the loss of his former protégé, Ricky Johnson. He’s determined to prove he’s the superior competitor.
JULIAN FIASCO: Dreamer thinks he’s too good for everyone, Sloan. But he’s got his work cut out for him. Turner is a brick wall who doesn’t quit, and Dreamer’s going to find out quickly that smugness doesn’t win you matches in the Victory Cup.
(Dreamer finally enters the ring, avoiding eye contact with Turner. Referee Brett Lukas calls for the bell.)
(The bell rings. Turner immediately moves to a lock-up, aiming to utilize his grappling strength, but Dreamer uses his speed and veteran instincts to backpedal and avoid engagement, circling Turner.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Dreamer is trying to frustrate Turner, not letting him get his hands on him. Smart strategy against a submission specialist.
(Dreamer hits a quick Dropkick to the knee of Turner, attempting to take away the base for his power. Turner stumbles but catches Dreamer’s next charge with a powerful T-Bone Suplex! The mat shakes.)
JULIAN FIASCO: Now that’s how you shut down a cocky heel! Turner is going right back to the mat game.
(Turner works over Dreamer’s chest and neck with stiff forearm strikes before locking in a Guillotine Choke. Dreamer panics, realizing he can’t out-grapple the ‘Iron Fist’.)
(Dreamer uses pure force to lift Turner and crash backward into the turnbuckle, breaking the hold. Dreamer sees his opportunity and hits a running Enzuigiri that catches Turner flush on the side of the head! Turner is dazed.)
(Dreamer follows up, using his quickness to springboard off the ropes for a Moonsault! Cover: 1—2—Turner kicks out!)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: A near fall! Dreamer’s athleticism is incredible, but Turner is tough!
(Dreamer keeps the pressure on, transitioning into his ground game, trying to match Turner’s intensity. He locks in a tight Abdominal Stretch, using the ropes for leverage—a clear heel tactic that the referee doesn’t see!)
JULIAN FIASCO: Cheating! He’s using the ropes! See, Sloan, this is what I mean! Dreamer doesn’t care about fair play!
(Turner eventually powers through the cheating, reversing the hold into a Hip Toss and immediately applying a nasty Ankle Lock! Dreamer screams, clawing toward the ropes, desperate to escape.)
(Dreamer just manages to reach the bottom rope, forcing the break. He rolls to the outside, clutching his ankle and trying to regain composure.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Turner almost ended this match with the Ankle Lock! Dreamer needs a new plan.
(Dreamer catches his breath on the floor. Suddenly, RICKY JOHNSON’S music hits! The crowd erupts, confused. Johnson sprints down the ramp, not in ring gear, but with a microphone in his hand!)
JULIAN FIASCO: What is this?! Ricky Johnson is here!
(Dreamer turns, stunned, taking his eyes completely off Turner. Johnson stands at the bottom of the ramp, his face a mask of cold fury.)
RICKY JOHNSON: (Screaming into the mic) You called me a failure, CJ! You said I belong nowhere!
(While Dreamer is distracted, standing wide-open on the outside, CADE TURNER charges the ropes and hits a massive Tope Con Hilo over the top, wiping out Dreamer on the floor! The impact is huge!)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Cade Turner takes flight! Dreamer was completely distracted by his former protégé!
(Johnson, satisfied, throws the mic down and walks back up the ramp, his point made. Turner tosses the dazed Dreamer back into the ring.)
(Turner, seeing the opening, pounces on the groggy Dreamer, wrapping his arms around the head, and CINCHING IN THE IRON LOCK (Modified Crossface)! The submission is locked in tight, applying excruciating pressure!)
JULIAN FIASCO: The distraction has cost him! The Iron Lock is secured!
(Dreamer struggles violently, frantically trying to reach the ropes, but he’s too far from safety. The pain is too much, his energy sapped by the dive. After several agonizing seconds, Dreamer has nowhere to go.)
(Dreamer desperately taps out!)
(The bell rings! CADE TURNER wins and advances to the Quarter Finals!)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: It’s over! Cade Turner advances, but this match will be remembered for the moment Ricky Johnson cost his former mentor the victory! Revenge is a dish best served cold, Julian!
JULIAN FIASCO: Dreamer had it coming! He was so focused on being smug and tearing down the kid that he forgot to focus on the match! Johnson just eliminated his former mentor from the Victory Cup! The war between these two has just begun!
(Turner releases the hold, raises his arm in victory, and looks toward the commentary desk with intense satisfaction. Dreamer rolls out of the ring, clutching his neck, spitting mad and looking up the ramp where Johnson has vanished. FADE OUT.)
Backstage
(The camera finds KATIE SMITH (KS) standing with CARLOS VASQUEZ (CV). Vasquez, known as ‘The Miami Maverick,’ is impeccably dressed, looking sharp and radiating an intense, borderline volatile energy. He holds himself with supreme confidence.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN (V.O.): A quick backstage update now, as we turn our attention to the sVo Championship picture and ‘The Miami Maverick,’ Carlos Vasquez.
JULIAN FIASCO (V.O.): Vasquez always speaks his mind, Sloan. Sometimes you love him, sometimes you hate him, but you always listen. He wants that gold, and he’s not quiet about it.
KATIE SMITH: I’m standing here with Carlos Vasquez, a man positioning himself for a major challenge against the sVo Champion, Kenneth D. Williams, potentially at Ultimate Victory 2025 on October 26th. Carlos, the champion has been on a dominant run. What makes you believe you’re the man to finally dethrone him?
CARLOS VASQUEZ: (Leaning into the microphone, his voice carrying the familiar, heavily accented, theatrical cadence of ‘The Miami Maverick’) Dethrone him? Katie, baby, you see this face? You see these hands? I am not the man to believe I can do it. I am the man who is going to do it.
CARLOS VASQUEZ: Williams, he’s a champion, okay? He’s got the gold, he’s got the spotlight. He’s tough. I give him that. But you know what he is? He’s a guy who is holding my property. That sVo Championship? That belt, that title, that is my legacy. I held it before, and it looks beautiful around my waist. Williams is just the caretaker. The house sitter.
KATIE SMITH: You’ve had a controversial career, sometimes finding yourself at odds with the fans and even sVo management. How does that past history affect your chances now that you are looking for the biggest prize in the company?
CARLOS VASQUEZ: (He shrugs dismissively, waving his hand.) Controversy, Katie? That is just business, baby. When you’re at the top of the mountain, everybody wants to throw rocks. I don’t care if they cheer me, I don’t care if they boo me. I only care about the gold. I am Carlos Vasquez. When I want something, I take it.
CARLOS VASQUEZ: You look at Williams. He’s got that nice, clean reputation. He’s doing everything the right way. That’s cute, okay? But clean doesn’t win championships when the pressure is on. Pressure turns men into dust. And at Ultimate Victory, I am going to show him what true pressure feels like.
(Vasquez’s eyes narrow, his intensity spiking.)
CARLOS VASQUEZ: I promise you this: Williams’ title reign? It ends in a bloody mess. I am going to take everything he has. He thinks he’s a king? I am the godfather around here. And on October 26th, at Ultimate Victory, I will beat him! I will put his lights out! And I will hold that sVo Championship once again!
(Vasquez stares directly into the camera, giving a slow, menacing nod before quickly stepping out of the frame. The intensity of his gaze lingers.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN (V.O.): Well, there is no mistaking his intent! ‘The Miami Maverick’ wants the sVo Championship, and he sounds ready to go through Kenneth D. Williams to get it.
JULIAN FIASCO (V.O.): Vasquez means every word of that, Sloan. When he gets focused on that top prize, he is one of the most dangerous men in this industry. Williams better be listening!
(FADE OUT.)
Victory Cup Match
Joe Barone vs. Victor Holland
(The arena is pulsating with tension. Heavy, almost orchestral music—a dark, foreboding theme—hits the speakers, and the crowd lets out a sustained chorus of boos. JOE BARONE (‘The Problem Solver’) emerges, flanked by his associates from the Blood Money stable: Junior Gambino and Nicky Columbo. Barone is a hulking brute, moving with slow, predatory confidence. He ignores the fans, his eyes fixed on the ring.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: This is it! Our Showdown main event, and the final Victory Cup match of the night. Joe Barone, one-third of the dangerous Blood Money faction, looking to move one step closer to Ultimate Victory glory.
JULIAN FIASCO: Barone doesn’t mess around, Sloan. He’s here to solve the ‘Victor Holland problem’ with extreme prejudice. When you’re in Blood Money, you don’t fight fair, you fight to win. And with Gambino and Columbo watching his back, Holland is already at a major disadvantage.
(Barone and his associates stand ominously at ringside. The music changes to a driving, inspirational track, and VICTOR HOLLAND (‘The Rising Star’) bursts onto the stage, greeted by a huge ovation. He’s a dynamic, high-energy athlete, acknowledging the fans with youthful fire.)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: And here is ‘The Rising Star,’ Victor Holland! This is the biggest match of his career, going head-to-head with a former champion contender in Joe Barone.
JULIAN FIASCO: Holland has the speed, the resilience, and the desire. He is the future of this company, but the future can be extinguished very quickly by Blood Money. He needs to worry about the three men in the ring, not just Barone.
(Holland slides into the ring, his focus intense. Barone glares at him, utterly unmoved by Holland’s fanfare. Referee Brett Lukas warns Gambino and Columbo to keep their distance. The bell rings.)
(The match starts quickly. Holland uses his agility, trying to dart in and out with quick strikes, but Barone is too massive. Barone catches Holland mid-air on a leapfrog attempt, turning it into a crushing Fallaway Slam! Barone immediately covers: 1—kick out!)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Barone’s power advantage is astounding! He just swatted Holland out of the air!
(Barone takes control, using his size to wear Holland down. He stomps on Holland’s chest and then locks in a heavy Bear Hug, squeezing the air from ‘The Rising Star.’)
JULIAN FIASCO: This is vintage Barone! He’s just draining the battery of Holland, making it impossible for him to execute his high-flying offense.
(Holland fights back with pure grit, elbowing Barone’s head repeatedly until the hold breaks. Holland staggers Barone with a flurry of strikes and hits a beautiful Dropkick that sends the big man staggering into the ropes.)
(Holland sees his chance and attempts the Skyfall (Springboard 450 Splash), but Barone moves! Holland lands on his feet but immediately runs into a massive Spinebuster from Barone! A crushing impact!)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: The momentum shifts in a hurry! Holland missed the big move, and Barone made him pay!
(Barone signals for the end. He lifts Holland for his finish, the Sleeping With the Fishes (Dominator), but Holland manages to slip out the back! Holland delivers a Superkick that momentarily stuns Barone!)
(Holland climbs to the top rope, seeing the opportunity again. He leaps—Flying Crossbody! Barone catches him! But Holland counters in the air, spinning into a quick DDT! Barone is down! Cover by Holland: 1—2—Barone just kicks out!)
JULIAN FIASCO: So close! Holland almost pinned the Blood Money enforcer!
(Holland struggles to pull the heavy Barone up, but as he does, he’s distracted by noise on the outside. Junior Gambinois loudly arguing with Referee Brett Lukas, drawing the official to the apron!)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: Look at Gambino! He’s distracting the referee!
(With Lukas distracted, Nicky Columbo quickly slides a steel chain into the ring! Barone, seeing his chance, grabs the chain and wraps it around his fist. Holland, unaware of the weapon, charges Barone!)
(Barone connects with a devastating Knockout Punch with the chain-wrapped fist! Holland collapses, instantly knocked senseless. Barone quickly kicks the chain under the bottom rope before the referee turns around.)
JULIAN FIASCO: Dirty, dirty pool! Columbo slipped the chain, and Barone used a loaded fist! Lukas didn’t see a thing!
(Lukas turns back to the action, seeing Holland lying motionless. Barone, now devoid of energy, hooks Holland’s leg, ensuring the weight is fully on him.)
BRETT LUKAS: 1! BRETT LUKAS: 2! BRETT LUKAS: 3!
(The bell rings! JOE BARONE wins and advances to the Quarter Finals!)
JEREMIAH SLOAN: It was an unfair fight from the start, and it ended with a criminal act! Blood Money cheating to ensure Joe Barone advances in the Victory Cup!
JULIAN FIASCO: That’s the Blood Money business plan, Sloan! They got the result they wanted, and they’re moving on! Victor Holland was robbed, but in the sVo, sometimes you need to watch your back more than your front!
(Barone retrieves the chain from under the ring ropes as Gambino and Columbo slide in to raise his arm. They stand over the fallen Holland, celebrating their deceitful victory as the crowd rains down boos.
FADE OUT.)
