(MUSIC comes to a crashing halt with a final beat)

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Welcome, everyone, to the Goodfellas Casino Arena! We are live for Showdown 239! Jeremiah Sloan alongside Julian Fiasco, and I can feel the energy tonight, Julian, after an incredible Roll the Dice Pay-Per-View last week.

JULIAN FIASCO: You can feel it, J-Slo, because the winners from last week are here to keep their momentum and the losers are here to get revenge! We’ve got a massive night of action, including that monumental main event!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: That’s right. A huge night of action is on tap as the road to Ultimate Victory on October 26th officially begins! We’ve got a big one-on-one match-up tonight as Jacob Izaz is scheduled to go up against the cold and calculating Noah Rogan!

JULIAN FIASCO: Oh, you’re in for a treat with that one, fans. Rogan is ruthless, and you know he’s going to try to strangle the hope right out of Izaz.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Also, we’re going to see one of the brightest young stars, Marty Murdoch, take on the rising underdog, Ricky Johnson, in what is sure to be a battle of heart and determination.

JULIAN FIASCO: And the Blood Money Soldiers, Nicky Columbo and Junior Gambino, are in for a war when they face my guys, The Malones! That’s going to be a slobber-knocker!

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Plus, Cade Turner is set to face Clam Idia, and then the main event… a huge Triple Threat to determine the next #1 contender to the sVo Championship: Victor Holland versus Carlos Vasquez versus the former Las Vegas champion himself, Alex Sterling!

JULIAN FIASCO: That’s a bold move, J-Slo, for Alex Sterling to put himself in a Triple Threat just one week after losing his gold. He’s Box Office Gold, so he’s doing what he thinks is best for business.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: It’s certainly a high-stakes move, but we’re out of time! Let’s get to the ring as our first match-up is coming up next!

Single Match
Noah Rogan vs. Jacob Izaz

A slow, sinister track with rattlesnake hisses and deep bass pounds through the arena sound system. The lights dim to a murky green as smoke billows onto the entrance ramp. The camera cuts to the stage as “Python” Noah Rogan stalks out, a menacing glare on his face. He’s wearing black trunks with green snake-scale patterns, black boots, and has his wrists taped. He walks with a cold, methodical pace, looking like a predator on the hunt. He looks at the booing crowd, hissing in their direction. He climbs into the ring, his eyes never leaving the camera.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: That’s Noah Rogan, Julian, and he looks to be in a vicious mood tonight. He’s earned his nickname, “Python,” for his suffocating, ruthless style.

JULIAN FIASCO: This guy doesn’t care about getting a cheer, J-Slo. He wants to hurt people and win, plain and simple. He’s a guy that will take his time and just wear you down.

The sinister music abruptly cuts out. A hip-hop beat with heavy bass hits, and the crowd immediately responds with a chorus of boos. “The Philly Flash” Jacob Izaz bursts onto the ramp with a cocky swagger. He’s wearing black and white gear with red accents, the words “Philly Flash” scrawled in a graffiti style across his attire. He struts with arrogance, jawing with fans and throwing mock hand gestures. He climbs into the ring, smirking and pointing to himself.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Jacob Izaz now, a man that was once a fan favorite before he turned his back on everyone, including his former mentor Kenneth D. Williams.

JULIAN FIASCO: He’s better off for it, J-Slo. He’s got that Philadelphia street fighting grit and flash that makes him one of the most exciting guys to watch. He’s a star.

The referee, Brett Lukas, a young up-and-coming official, calls for the bell. He seems a little star struck with the talent in the ring.

(DING! DING! DING!)

Rogan immediately stalks towards Izaz with a cold stare. Izaz tries to use his speed, circling the ring, but Rogan cuts him off, trapping him in the corner. Rogan unleashes a flurry of clubbing forearms to the chest, driving Izaz into the turnbuckles. Izaz tries to fight back with a desperate forearm, but Rogan answers with a vicious spinning spinebuster.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Rogan is just smothering him, Julian! He’s not even letting Izaz get a moment to breathe.

JULIAN FIASCO: This is classic “Python.” He’s targeting the body, grinding him down until he can wrap him up in that deadly Constriction submission.

Rogan pulls Izaz to his feet and goes for a backbreaker rack, but Izaz uses his quickness to slip free. Izaz attempts a running forearm smash, but Rogan catches him and lifts him for a gutwrench powerbomb. Rogan hits the move with brute force, sending Izaz crashing down. Rogan goes for the pin.

REFEREE: One! Two!

Izaz barely kicks out. Rogan shakes his head and drags Izaz back to his feet, talking trash and smirking. He signals for the finish, a devastating sleeper hold.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: He’s going for the Constriction! Izaz is in trouble!

Just as Rogan locks in the hold, the music of Generation Joint hits! Hip-hop beats with heavy bass fill the arena. The crowd boos loudly.

Jay Adder walks out onto the entrance ramp with a strong, confident demeanor. He stands there, hands on hips, staring at the action in the ring. Rogan is momentarily distracted by Adder’s presence, loosening his hold.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Look at this! Jay Adder is here! Izaz’s partner is here to provide the distraction!

JULIAN FIASCO: Oh, you love to see it! He’s playing mind games with Rogan!

Izaz takes advantage of the distraction, raking Rogan’s eyes behind the referee’s back! The referee is still watching Adder at ringside, failing to see the dirty move. Izaz follows up with a lightning-quick superkick that stuns Rogan.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Izaz with the cheap shot! That’s just disgusting!

JULIAN FIASCO: It’s not disgusting, it’s resourceful! Izaz is using every tool in his arsenal to get the win, just like a true veteran.

Rogan stumbles back, dazed. Izaz hits the ropes and charges. He springboards off the second rope, launching himself towards Rogan and connecting with a Flashpoint, the springboard cutter. The crowd groans as Izaz makes the pin, holding Rogan’s tights for extra leverage. The referee, who missed the eye rake, quickly drops down.

REFEREE: One! Two! Three!

(DING! DING! DING!)

The music of Generation Joint hits again as Izaz’s hand is raised in victory. He smirks down at the fallen Noah Rogan. Jay Adder climbs onto the ring apron, giving a celebratory nod to Izaz. The two men stand together in the ring, laughing and jawing at the booing crowd as a replay shows the eye rake and the leverage on the pin.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: A cheap win for Jacob Izaz, and that is absolutely what you can expect from Generation Joint. They don’t care about sportsmanship; they care about winning at all costs.

JULIAN FIASCO: And they got the win, didn’t they, J-Slo? Don’t get mad at them, get mad at the referee for being so distracted. That’s a lesson for all of us.

Backstage

The camera cuts to a backstage area bathed in the dim light of a single bulb. A backdrop with the sVo logo stands behind Katie Smith, the lead interviewer, who holds a microphone with the sVo insignia. She is poised and professional. Standing across from her is Victor Holland, his face serious and determined, but with a youthful fire in his eyes.

KATIE SMITH: Victor, thank you for joining me. Tonight, you’re in the biggest match of your career. A Triple Threat with Alex Sterling and Carlos Vasquez for a number one contendership to the sVo Championship. How are you preparing for this kind of pressure?

VICTOR HOLLAND: (Takes a deep breath and looks directly into the camera) Katie, I’ve been preparing for this my entire life. I grew up on a blue-collar household in Cincinnati. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth, and I didn’t have a wrestling legacy to fall back on. Everything I’ve gotten in this business, I’ve earned through sheer grit and ambition.

KATIE SMITH: Speaking of ambition, your opponent, Alex Sterling, has a reputation for being Hollywood’s favorite villain. He’s smug, arrogant, and he believes every move he makes is for the spotlight. What’s your strategy against someone who seems more interested in a theatrical performance than a wrestling match?

VICTOR HOLLAND: Alex Sterling can talk all he wants about being “Box Office Gold,” but I’m not here to be an extra in his movie. I’m here to change the game. He can play to the camera, he can fake injuries, he can do whatever he wants—it doesn’t matter. Tonight, I’m going to prove that passion and determination will always beat arrogance.

KATIE SMITH: And you’re not just facing Sterling, you’re also facing Carlos Vasquez, a man known for his charismatic and flashy style. How do you plan to handle two men with such different and unpredictable fighting styles?

VICTOR HOLLAND: Look, I respect Carlos. He’s a phenomenal athlete, no doubt about it. But tonight, there’s no room for respect. It’s every man for himself, and I’m not going to hold back. I’m going to bring every high-flying move, every technical counter, every bit of fire I have in my soul. Tonight is my night. I’m not just the “Rising Star,” I’m the one who’s going to rise to the top.

KATIE SMITH: And if you win tonight, your next stop is the main event of Ultimate Victory to face the sVo Champion. Are you ready to take on the biggest challenge of your career?

VICTOR HOLLAND: (A fire lights up in his eyes as he points a finger towards the camera) I’m not just ready, Katie. I was born for this. The fans believe in me, and I’m going to show everyone that the future of this company is standing right here. After tonight, I’m taking my shot at the gold, and at Ultimate Victory, I’m going to fulfill a dream and become the new sVo Champion. You can bet your life on that.

Victor Holland’s theme music, “Glory” by The Score, begins to play softly in the background as he gives a final nod to Katie Smith and walks off camera. Katie Smith looks at the camera with a look of awe as the segment fades to a commercial break.

Ringside

The arena lights up, bathed in a purple and yellow glow. “Family Ties” by Baby Keen & Kendrick Lamar blares through the arena, and the crowd rises to its feet with a deafening cheer.

The sVo Champion, Kenneth D. Williams, emerges onto the stage, the sVo Championship belt slung over his shoulder. The belt’s gold plates glisten under the lights as Williams stands at the top of the ramp, his hands held high in triumph. He’s wearing brightly coloured wrestling trunks and a matching entrance jacket, his eyes scanning the sea of cheering fans. He has a smile on his face, but it’s clear he means business tonight.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Ladies and gentlemen, the sVo Champion, the Human Highlight Reel himself, Kenneth D. Williams! He is fresh off a title defense last week at Roll the Dice against the punishing Joe Barone.

JULIAN FIASCO: And he did it, J-Slo. He walked out of that match with the gold. Barone is a force of nature, but the Highlight Reel found a way to get it done. You gotta give him credit where credit is due.

Williams makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans and high-fiving the kids in the front row. He slides into the ring, holds the championship belt up high, and the crowd roars in approval. A stagehand hands him a microphone as his music fades out.

KENNETH D. WILLIAMS: (Takes a deep breath and looks out at the crowd, a genuine smile on his face.) You know, they say that everything is bigger in Vegas… and tonight, this championship… it’s the biggest thing in the city!

(The crowd cheers in agreement)

KENNETH D. WILLIAMS: Last week, I walked into the toughest fight of my life. Joe Barone came at me with everything he had. He’s a cold, loyal, and ruthless enforcer. He threw everything at me but the kitchen sink, and when I say I gave him everything I had, I mean it. But when the dust settled, I was still the sVo Champion!

(A massive pop from the crowd)

KENNETH D. WILLIAMS: Now, I know there’s a big Triple Threat match later on tonight. Alex Sterling, Carlos Vasquez, and Victor Holland… three different styles, three different guys who all want what I have. And I know what you’re thinking… I’m going to wait until the main event, sit back and watch them beat each other up and then tell the winner that I’ll see them at Ultimate Victory.

(He pauses, the crowd’s anticipation building)

KENNETH D. WILLIAMS: But that’s not what’s going to happen. You see, I don’t care who wins tonight. It could be Hollywood’s favorite villain … it could be the Miami Maverick … or it could be the Rising Star… it doesn’t matter who comes out on top! Because no matter who I face at Ultimate Victory, I’m going to walk out with this gold right here! I’m going to prove, once again, that I am the Human Highlight Reel!

(Williams holds the title up in the air again as his music hits. The crowd chants his name as the champion stands defiantly in the middle of the ring.)

Single Match
Marty Murdoch vs. Ricky Johnson

The upbeat, energetic punk-alt-rock anthem of Ricky Johnson, “Glory” by The Score, fires up the arena. The crowd roars to life with chants of “UNDERDOG! UNDERDOG!”

Ricky Johnson bursts onto the ramp, a huge smile on his face, soaking in the adulation of the crowd. His youthful energy is infectious as he high-fives fans on his way to the ring. He’s wearing brightly colored tights with “Underdog” stylized across them. He slides into the ring, bouncing on his feet, ready for the fight.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Ricky Johnson is in the house, Julian, and the fans are absolutely behind this kid. He’s the definition of a fan-favourite.

JULIAN FIASCO: This kid has heart, J-Slo, no doubt about it. He’s got all the talent in the world and he’s got his mentor in the veteran CJ Dreamer to guide him.

The crowd continues to cheer, but a new sound fills the arena: the classic rock anthem “Jump” by Van Halen. The music for Marty Murdoch.

“Jump” by Van Halen starts up, but the crowd’s cheers turn to mild confusion, and then a ripple of polite applause.

Marty Murdoch, the perennial underdog, jogs out, a look of pure, unadulterated excitement on his face. He’s a smaller guy, with a scrappy, limited moveset. He’s completely enamored with being a pro wrestler, and he takes a moment to just soak in the atmosphere, looking around in awe before jogging to the ring.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: And here’s Marty Murdoch, the self-proclaimed Miracle. A perennial underdog who has been winning over fans with his never-say-die attitude.

JULIAN FIASCO: This guy is all heart. He may not have the polish of a Ricky Johnson, but he will take a beating and keep coming back for more.

The referee, Brett Lukas, signals for the bell.

(DING! DING! DING!)

The match begins with a quick lock-up. Ricky uses his speed, pushing Marty into the corner, but Marty ducks a clothesline and hits a flying forearm that sends Ricky stumbling. Marty then hits a Missile Front Dropkick that sends Ricky to the mat. Marty goes for a pin.

REFEREE: One!

Ricky kicks out easily. The match continues with a back and forth between the two. Ricky’s superior speed and agility are evident, as he hits a running dropkick into the corner, followed by a hurricanrana. He goes for the pin, but Marty kicks out at two.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: What a back and forth between these two! They’re giving it everything they’ve got!

JULIAN FIASCO: This is what you get when you have two guys who live and breathe this business. No shortcuts, just heart.

Ricky climbs to the top rope, but Marty cuts him off, landing a couple of solid strikes. Marty tries to pull him down for a superplex, but Ricky pushes him away and hits a top-rope crossbody, but Marty rolls through for a pin.

REFEREE: One! Two!

Ricky kicks out and immediately hits a tilt-a-whirl DDT. He follows up with a series of punches and a running knee strike to a kneeling Marty, before climbing the ropes.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: This could be it! Ricky is going for the Phoenix Rising! The corkscrew 450 splash!

Ricky is on the top rope, getting ready to hit his finisher, when suddenly, a figure runs down the ramp. It’s CJ Dreamer!

Ricky is distracted on the top rope, looking at his mentor in disbelief. Dreamer just stands there, a cold, hard look on his face. Marty, seeing the opening, runs to the ropes and hits a well-timed frankensteiner that sends Ricky crashing to the mat. Marty quickly covers for the win.

REFEREE: One! Two! Three!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Marty Murdoch’s music hits, and he’s celebrating in the middle of the ring as if he just won the World Title. The camera cuts back to Ricky Johnson, who is on his knees, looking at CJ Dreamer in shock and disbelief. Dreamer is on the stage, a look of pure coldness in his eyes. He shakes his head in disappointment, turns around, and walks away as the crowd is in an absolute uproar.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: I don’t believe it! I can’t believe it! CJ Dreamer just cost his protégé, Ricky Johnson, the match! Why?

JULIAN FIASCO: I don’t know, J-Slo, I just don’t know. Maybe he’s trying to teach him a lesson. Maybe he’s gone mad. But whatever it is, that was a truly shocking moment. This is a game-changer for sure!

Backstage

The camera cuts to a backstage area bathed in the dim light of a single bulb. A backdrop with the sVo logo stands behind Katie Smith, the lead interviewer, who holds a microphone with the sVo insignia. She is poised and professional. Standing across from her is Amy Page, the sVo COO, dressed in a sharp business suit, her expression cool and composed.

KATIE SMITH: Amy, thank you for joining us. We are now officially on the road to Ultimate Victory, and the fans are buzzing with anticipation. What can we expect from the sVo as we head into our next Pay-Per-View?

AMY PAGE: (A slight, confident smile on her face) Katie, I’m glad you asked. As the COO of the sVo, it’s my job to ensure that we continue to deliver the most compelling and high-stakes entertainment in this industry. To that end, I am officially announcing tonight that next week, the annual Victory Cup tournament will begin.

KATIE SMITH: That’s huge news, Amy! The Victory Cup is a prestigious tournament with a long history.

AMY PAGE: (She cuts Katie off, her voice firm) It is, and the finals of this year’s tournament will be held at our Ultimate Victory Pay-Per-View on October 26th. The stakes couldn’t be higher. This is a chance for one of our top stars to make a name for themselves and prove they have what it takes to rise to the top. This tournament is about giving the fans what they want: the best of the best competing to see who is truly the greatest in this company.

KATIE SMITH: (Nodding, but her expression is skeptical) That’s a powerful statement, and I know the fans are excited. Speaking of exciting moments, last week at Roll the Dice, we saw the shocking appearance of Brice Brantley and the tag team known as “The SEC.” There’s a lot of speculation about their presence here. Can you shed some light on why they were at our event?

AMY PAGE: (Her expression hardens, the smile completely gone. She looks at Katie with cold eyes.) Katie, you’re here to ask me about the sVo and the future of this company. I just gave you a massive announcement about the Victory Cup. That’s the story. That’s what’s important.

KATIE SMITH: (She persists) The fans want to know, though. They’re part of the X-Pro organization, a rival promotion… Their presence has raised a lot of questions about what’s going on behind the scenes, and what it could mean for the future of the sVo. Can you at least give us a reason why they were here?

AMY PAGE: (She shakes her head, a look of annoyance on her face. She steps closer to Katie, her voice low and menacing.) My mission is to give the fans the best show possible and to get the best ratings for the sVo. The Victory Cup is part of that mission. Anything else… is none of your business.

Amy Page turns and walks away from the interview, leaving a stunned Katie Smith standing alone. The camera lingers on Katie’s frustrated expression before fading to a commercial break.

Single Match
Cade Turner vs. Clam Idia

A hard, aggressive anthem with a militaristic drum beat, “Unstoppable” by The Score, begins to play. The lights dim to a cold, steel-blue color.

Cade “The Iron Fist” Turner walks onto the stage with a brutal, no-nonsense intensity. He’s wearing black trunks and boots, and his hands are heavily taped. He has a perpetual sneer on his face, looking like the ultimate weapon he believes he is. He stalks down the ramp, glaring at the booing crowd, who relentlessly jeer him. He enters the ring, his expression never changing, ready for a fight.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: This man, Cade Turner, is a pure force of nature. He’s a former MMA star who’s transitioned to professional wrestling, and he brings that MMA brutality with him every time he steps in the ring.

JULIAN FIASCO: He’s merciless, J-Slo, and he doesn’t care about the rules. He’s here to humiliate his opponents and get the win by any means necessary. I love it.

SOUND: A sleazy, grimy rock riff with a distorted guitar and chaotic drums hits the sound system. The lights take on a dirty, yellow hue.

Clam Idia, “The Relentless,” emerges from the back, looking unkempt and greasy. He has a worn leather jacket on with a stained t-shirt underneath. The crowd immediately starts booing and chanting “YOU’RE DISGUSTING!”. He revels in it, sneering and jawing at the fans as he walks to the ring. He slides into the ring, pulling on the ring ropes before getting ready for the match.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: And here’s Clam Idia. A man who embodies the word “sleazy”. He’s a brawler who uses every shortcut and dirty trick in the book.

JULIAN FIASCO: Hey, a win is a win, J-Slo. Clam is an old-school heel. He’s going to do whatever it takes to get the W, and the fans absolutely despise him for it.

The referee, Brett Lukas, looks on as both men stare each other down. He calls for the bell.

(DING! DING! DING!)

The moment the bell rings, Idia charges at Turner, but Turner meets him with a stiff big boot. Idia falls to the mat, stunned. Turner immediately begins his assault, hitting a takedown slam. He follows up with a series of ground and pound strikes to Idia’s face and ribs.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Turner is just dismantling him! He’s not wasting any time. This is not a match; this is a beatdown!

JULIAN FIASCO: That’s that MMA background shining through, J-Slo. He’s all business. He’s a technician. He’s breaking Idia down piece by piece.

Turner lifts Idia and throws him into the corner, hitting a punishing body avalanche. Idia stumbles away from the corner, but Turner grabs him and hits a Razor’s Edge. Idia hits the mat with a thud as Turner covers him for the pin.

REFEREE: One! Two!

Idia barely kicks out. Turner doesn’t look surprised or frustrated. He just gets back to his feet, a cold look in his eyes. He pulls a groggy Idia to his feet and grabs him from behind in a backbreaker rack, before dropping him down to the mat.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Turner is just toying with him now. This is a one-sided affair.

JULIAN FIASCO: He’s showing everyone what he’s all about. Dominance. He’s not here to put on a show; he’s here to win.

Turner lifts the lifeless body of Idia to his feet one last time. He hooks his arm in for the Iron Lock, a crossface submission. He cranks on Idia’s neck and jaw, applying relentless pressure. Idia taps out immediately, unable to take the pain.

REFEREE: (The ref calls for the bell as Idia taps)

(DING! DING! DING!)

The crowd boos loudly as Turner refuses to let go of the hold. The referee has to physically pull him off the prone body of Clam Idia. Turner stares down at his fallen opponent with a menacing glare. He raises his taped hands and gives the crowd a look that says, “I told you so.”

JEREMIAH SLOAN: A dominant performance by Cade Turner, but he had to add insult to injury by refusing to let go of the hold.

JULIAN FIASCO: Why would he, J-Slo? He’s the destroyer. He’s here to make a statement, and that’s exactly what he did. No mercy.

Backstage

The camera cuts to a private, dimly lit room backstage. The walls are a deep crimson, and the only furniture is a single table with a few metal chairs. Joe Barone stands in the center of the room, his black trench coat and gloves still on. His face is a mask of fury, a stark contrast to his usual cold demeanor. He is seething. Behind him stand the Blood Money Soldiers, Junior Gambino and Nicky Columbo, both looking serious and focused.

JOE BARONE: (His voice is low and menacing, but filled with a simmering rage) Last week… at Roll the Dice… I didn’t finish the job. I had the Human Highlight Reel where I wanted him. I had him on the ropes, ready to break him, and I failed. The sVo Championship… it should be mine. It should be with the family. And because of my failure, it isn’t.

(He slams his fist on the table, making a loud metallic thud. Gambino and Columbo don’t flinch, standing at attention.)

JOE BARONE: (He turns to face them, his eyes like daggers) But a loss… a setback… that’s not a defeat for Blood Money. It’s a lesson. And tonight, you two are going to go out there and you’re going to remind everyone what it means to be a made man in this family. You’re going to remind them what loyalty and violence look like.

JUNIOR GAMBINO: (He speaks with a brash, cocky tone, but with a hint of nervousness) Boss, we’re ready. The Malones are no problem. We’ll take them out, easy.

JOE BARONE: (He steps right into Gambino’s face, towering over him) Easy isn’t enough, Junior. You’re the “Young Gun,” right? (He glares at Columbo) And you, Nicky, you’re the “Sicilian Enforcer”. Show me. Don’t just beat them, make them regret stepping in the ring with you. Send a message that can be heard all the way to the top.

NICKY COLUMBO: (Nicky says nothing, just nods once with a cold, piercing stare. He looks from Barone to Gambino.)

JOE BARONE: (He backs away, gesturing toward the exit.) Go. Your match is next. Don’t come back in here until you’ve solved this problem. Tonight, you’re not just fighting The Malones… you’re fighting for the honor of Blood Money. Now go… and show them what we’re all about.

Barone stands in the center of the room, a brooding presence as his soldiers, Nicky Columbo and Junior Gambino, turn and walk out of the room. The camera holds on Barone’s angry face before cutting to a promotional image for their upcoming match.

Tag Team Match
Blood Money Soldiers vs. The Malones

A classic Italian mafia-style instrumental mixed with heavy trap beats fills the arena. The lights are a cold, ominous blue.

The Blood Money Soldiers, Nicky Columbo and Junior Gambino, emerge from the back. Columbo, a towering figure, is wearing a long trench coat, his hair slicked back. He walks with a cold, intimidating presence, while Gambino, the younger of the two, struts with a brash, cocky attitude. The crowd is a sea of boos, showering the duo with hatred. They climb into the ring, their expressions showing nothing but disdain for the audience.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Following a chilling word from Joe Barone backstage, here come the Blood Money Soldiers, Junior Gambino and Nicky Columbo.

JULIAN FIASCO: This isn’t just a match, J-Slo. This is a mission for these two. They’re here to make a statement, and I hope The Malones are ready to get broken tonight.

The Blood Money theme cuts out, replaced by a high-energy hip-hop track with heavy bass and swagger. The crowd erupts with a massive cheer.

Frankie “The Big Apple Brawler” Malone and “Money” Malone, The Malones, walk out, a united front. Frankie, with his rugged, street-tough demeanor, and Money Malone, with his loud, eye-catching gear and swagger. The cousins soak in the adoration of the crowd, slapping hands and nodding to their fans. They are a fan-favorite tag team due to their gritty, working-class energy. They slide into the ring, ready for a fight.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: And here come The Malones, the brand new International Tag Team Champions! The crowd loves these guys. A tag team of family, a true underdog story for these two brothers.

JULIAN FIASCO: That’s right. These two are a fan-favorite tag team. They’ve earned the respect of the fans, but tonight, they’re facing a couple of cold-blooded killers.

VIDEO: The referee, Brett Lukas, a young official, calls for the bell.

(DING! DING! DING!)

The match begins with Frankie Malone and Junior Gambino. Gambino, being the smaller and quicker opponent, immediately tries to use his speed, but Frankie cuts him off, hitting a powerful combination of punches and elbows, the Brooklyn Beatdown. He then hits a devastating body slam, the Subway Slam. He covers Gambino for a quick pin.

REFEREE: One!

Gambino kicks out and quickly crawls to his corner, tagging in Nicky Columbo. Columbo enters the ring, his face a menacing scowl. He immediately takes control, hitting a brutal Mafia Kick to Frankie’s chest. Frankie stumbles back, but Columbo follows up with a series of corner clotheslines.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Columbo is just punishing Frankie Malone! This is exactly what Barone was talking about, a brutal display of dominance!

JULIAN FIASCO: Columbo is the silent muscle of this team, J-Slo. He’s here to make a point, and he’s not holding anything back.

Columbo drags Frankie to the middle of the ring and hits a spinebuster. He then tags in Gambino. Gambino enters and immediately begins his assault, hitting a running knee strike and a Tornado DDT. He goes for the pin, but Frankie kicks out at two. Gambino starts getting visibly frustrated, jawing at Frankie before hitting a Snap Dragon Suplex.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: These two are working together perfectly, wearing down Frankie Malone. They’re a frighteningly well-rounded tag team.

JULIAN FIASCO: And they’re going to keep going until they get the win. They’re not going to let up until they’ve completely broken Frankie Malone.

Frankie manages to tag in his cousin, Money Malone, who enters the ring on fire. He hits a running lariat and a spinebuster on Gambino. He then hits a diving axe handle from the second rope and a bulldog. He’s in control, but Columbo runs into the ring and attacks Money Malone from behind, breaking all the rules. The referee, Brett Lukas, is trying to restore order, but the two Blood Money Soldiers are not listening.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: This is a complete breakdown of the rules! Columbo is not backing down!

JULIAN FIASCO: It’s a two-on-one assault! They’re sending a message, J-Slo. This is what Blood Money is all about, taking shortcuts to get the job done!

The two Blood Money Soldiers lift Money Malone into the air, and Columbo hits a devastating high-angle sit-out powerbomb, The Cement Shoes. Gambino quickly crawls over and puts his arm over Money Malone for the win.

REFEREE: One! Two! Three!

(DING! DING! DING!)

The music of Blood Money hits once again. The two Blood Money Soldiers stand tall over the beaten bodies of The Malones. Gambino holds his arms up in victory, but Columbo just stands there, a stone-cold expression on his face. Joe Barone’s theme song “Mob Ties” by Drake hits, and he appears on the stage, nodding in approval at his soldiers. The camera shows the bloody and battered faces of The Malones as they are being helped out of the ring, but the focus remains on the victorious Blood Money Soldiers and Joe Barone, who stand united as a menacing force.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: A brutal, vicious win for the Blood Money Soldiers. They just beat the current International Tag Team Champions to send a message to everyone in the sVo.

JULIAN FIASCO: Message received, J-Slo. Message received.

Backstage

The camera cuts to a backstage area with the sVo logo backdrop. Katie Smith stands ready with her microphone. Alex Sterling, in his flamboyant gold and white ring gear, stands opposite her. He’s adjusting his designer sunglasses, a smug, arrogant look on his face.

KATIE SMITH: Alex, thank you for joining me. Tonight, you’re in a high-stakes Triple Threat match to determine the number one contender for the sVo Championship. But first, let’s address last week’s Roll the Dice Pay-Per-View. You lost your Las Vegas Championship to Jason Martel. How does it feel to no longer have that gold around your waist?

ALEX STERLING: (He laughs, a dry, theatrical sound, and takes off his sunglasses to stare directly into the camera) Katie, let’s be clear. A minor setback is just a plot twist in a blockbuster story. I’m a movie star, remember? Every loss is just a scene designed to build suspense for the sequel, and trust me, the sequel is going to be a box office smash.

KATIE SMITH: A setback? You lost the Las Vegas Championship. The fans seem to think it was a fair win for Jason Martel.

ALEX STERLING: (His smile vanishes, replaced by a scowl. He steps closer to the camera, his voice dripping with annoyance.) The fans’ opinion? The audience is here to watch the star, not to critique the performance. That title? That was just a supporting role. A little prop for my résumé. Tonight, I’m in the main event, in a Triple Threat, and the prize is a shot at the main prize! This isn’t about some midcard title. This is about the sVo Championship.

KATIE SMITH: You’re in there with Victor Holland and Carlos Vasquez, two men who have a lot of momentum right now. Neither of them sees you as a star, but as an opponent.

ALEX STERLING: (He smirks, putting his sunglasses back on.) Darling, they’re just extras. They’re the B-list actors vying for a role they can’t handle. They can be the heroes, the underdogs, or whatever role they want to audition for, it doesn’t matter. Because tonight, I’m playing the role of the winner, and that’s a part I was born to play. I’m going to outsmart them both , win this Triple Threat match, and go on to become the next sVo Champion at Ultimate Victory. That’s the ending. And it’s a wrap.

Sterling gives a dramatic bow with a cocky grin on his face. He turns and struts away, leaving Katie Smith with a look of pure exasperation. The camera fades to a promotional video for the main event match.

Triple Threat #1 Contenders Match
Victor Holland vs. Alex Sterling vs. Carlos Vasquez

A high-energy hip-hop track with swagger begins to play. The crowd is on its feet, a mix of boos and cheers.

Alex Sterling, “Hollywood’s Favorite Villain,” struts onto the stage. He’s wearing his signature gold-accented gear, designer sunglasses, and a smirk that says he knows he’s the star of the show. He performs a dramatic, over-the-top Oscar-acceptance pose on the stage, soaking in the jeers, before making his way to the ring.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Alex Sterling, a man who believes every match is a blockbuster performance. Tonight, he’s in the main event, and he wants that sVo Championship.

JULIAN FIASCO: He wants to be the star, J-Slo. And the best way to do that is to have the biggest title in the company. He’s going to do whatever it takes to win this match and get what he wants.

The hip-hop beat of Alex Sterling abruptly cuts out. A fast-paced, energetic punk/alt-rock anthem fills the arena, and the crowd roars to life.

Victor Holland, “The Rising Star,” jogs out, his face a picture of determination. He’s wearing his vibrant red, white, and gold gear, and he slaps hands with fans on his way to the ring. He looks focused and ready, soaking in the cheers of the crowd. He enters the ring, his eyes never leaving his opponents.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Here is the man who believes he’s the future of this company, Victor Holland! He’s a dynamic hybrid of high-flying and technical wrestling. The fans love him because he’s an underdog with everything to prove.

JULIAN FIASCO: This kid has fire in his soul. He wants this more than anyone. He is one of the brightest young stars this business has to offer.

The punk anthem fades, replaced by the electric, high-energy track, “Welcome to Miami” by Will Smith. The arena explodes with cheers.

Carlos “The Miami Maverick” Vasquez emerges, his charisma and magnetic personality captivating the crowd. He’s a true showman, and he plays to the crowd on his way down to the ring. He climbs into the ring, an infectious smile on his face.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: The South Beach Sensation himself, Carlos Vasquez! He is a true fan favorite and has been building up momentum lately. This is a massive opportunity for him to finally get a shot at the sVo Championship.

JULIAN FIASCO: His fighting style is flashy and high-flying. He’s going to use his speed and agility to outmaneuver both of his opponents, and he’s a crowd favourite.

The referee, Brett Lukas signals for the bell.

(DING! DING! DING!)

The match begins with all three men circling the ring. Sterling immediately rolls out, wanting no part of the fight. He tries to play to the crowd, but they boo him. Holland and Vasquez look at each other and then nod in agreement. They head to the outside and grab Sterling, throwing him back into the ring. Holland and Vasquez hit a double-team move on Sterling.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: These two fan favorites are teaming up to take out the arrogant Alex Sterling!

JULIAN FIASCO: It’s smart, J-Slo. They want to eliminate the biggest threat first and then they can go one-on-one for the win.

Holland and Vasquez go at it, a fast-paced, high-flying exchange of moves. Vasquez hits a tilt-a-whirl arm drag, but Holland counters with a running knee strike to the face. Holland climbs to the top rope, but Sterling, having recovered, runs in and knocks Holland off the ropes, sending him to the outside. Sterling then hits a low blow on Vasquez behind the referee’s back. He then goes for the pin.

REFEREE: One! Two!

VIDEO: Vasquez kicks out, but Sterling doesn’t look bothered. Sterling runs the ropes, but Vasquez hits a springboard tornado DDT. He goes for the pin, but Sterling kicks out.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Sterling just barely got out of that one. This match is full of back and forth action!

JULIAN FIASCO: That’s a testament to the athleticism of these guys.

Holland re-enters the ring, climbing to the top rope and hitting a diving crossbody on both Sterling and Vasquez. He then goes for a pin on Sterling, who kicks out. Holland then goes for the Skyfall, his corkscrew 450 splash, but Vasquez rolls out of the way, and Holland hits nothing but mat.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Oh, what a missed opportunity! That would have been a game-changing move for sure!

JULIAN FIASCO: That’s the risk you take when you go for a high-risk move like that.

Sterling hits a low blow on Holland as Holland is trying to recover. Sterling then grabs Holland and looks to hit the Box Office Smash, but Carlos Vasquez quickly hits a lightning-fast spinning heel kick, the Miami Vice Kick. He goes for the pin.

REFEREE: One! Two! Three!

(DING! DING! DING!)

“Welcome to Miami” by Will Smith hits the sound system as Carlos Vasquez celebrates the huge victory. He has a huge smile on his face as the referee raises his arm in victory. The crowd is on its feet, a mix of cheers and boos. Holland and Sterling are both down in the ring, with the camera showing their disappointment.

JEREMIAH SLOAN: Carlos Vasquez is the number one contender! What a win for the Miami Maverick! He will go on to fight for the sVo Championship at Ultimate Victory!

JULIAN FIASCO: And he did it, J-Slo. He came out on top, and now he’s got his shot. Kenneth D. Williams is a great champion, but it’s going to be a fun one to watch.
