sVo Showdown 228
📺 Live on the Sanctioned Violence Network
📍 Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
📆 8th June 2025

[CAMERA FADES IN – Wide shot of the packed Goodfellas Casino Arena. The Las Vegas crowd is electric with energy, signs waving, lights flashing, and the signature “Showdown” intro video package playing on the big screen above the entrance ramp.]

[CUT TO: Commentary Desk – JULIAN FIASCO and JEREMIAH SLOAN, both dressed sharp, with the crowd buzzing behind them.]

Julian Fiasco:

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the glitz, the chaos, the violence… welcome to another edition of sVo Showdown – coming to you LIVE from the legendary Goodfellas Casino Arena, right here in Las Vegas, Nevada!

Jeremiah Sloan:

And we are officially on the final stretch, Julian! The road to Jackpot 2025 is heating up, and tonight is going to throw more fuel on that fire!

Julian Fiasco:

That’s right, partner – our main event tonight? A non-title clash that could shift the whole landscape before the pay-per-view! Anthony Moretti takes on the sVo Champion Kenneth D Williams, just weeks after Moretti muscled his way into what was supposed to be a one-on-one title match between Williams and Victor Holland.

Jeremiah Sloan:

You know Holland’s watching closely. But tonight, the champ has a chance to shut Moretti up before Jackpot even gets here.

[HIGHLIGHT RECAP PACKAGE PLAYS: Clips of Carlos Vasquez’s win over Jay Adder, Danny Domino squashing Noah Rogan, and both men proclaiming their intent to win the Jackpot Rumble.]

Julian Fiasco:

The Jackpot Rumble is looming large, and two names that have already declared their intentions loud and clear are Carlos Vasquez and Danny Domino. The Miami Maverick has been red-hot, and Domino’s been leaving bodies behind him every week.

Jeremiah Sloan:

But tonight, Vasquez has to deal with a focused Dylan MacLeod — a guy with his own sights set on Jackpot glory.

[CLIP: Jake Blackwood motioning a title belt around his waist after a win. Alex Sterling watching from backstage.]

Julian Fiasco:

Meanwhile, the hunt is on — Jake Blackwood wants a shot at the Las Vegas Championship, but Alex Sterling seems to be playing hard to get.

Jeremiah Sloan:

You can only duck the Wild West Warrior for so long, Julian. That standoff is bound to explode before Jackpot.

[CLIP: Sin City Scoundrels grabbing a mic and calling out the Ultras after beating the Malones last week.]

Julian Fiasco:

Speaking of tension — the Sin City Scoundrels have been begging for a fight, and they want it against the International Tag Champs, the Ultras of Berlin Apex Wrestling.

Jeremiah Sloan:

The Ultras aren’t here tonight, but the Scoundrels are. And they’ve got a score to settle with the Malones tonight in tag team action!

Julian Fiasco:

Also on tap — Jason Martel, the “High Stakes Hero,” looks to keep his momentum going against the always unpredictable Noah Rogan.

Jeremiah Sloan:

And Miracle Marty Murdoch goes up against the powerhouse of Blood Money — Joe Barone. Marty’s been fighting with everything he’s got these past few weeks, but Barone? He’s a brick wall.

[SPLIT SCREEN GRAPHIC of all five matches appears.]

Julian Fiasco:

Five matches. High stakes. New grudges. Rising tempers. And the Jackpot just weeks away. This is sVo Showdown 228, and folks — we’re rolling the dice starting RIGHT NOW!

[CAMERA PANS TO THE RAMP as the first entrance theme hits and the crowd roars.]

Single Match
Jason Martel vs. Noah Rogan

Backstage

[Location: Interview Zone – Backstage at the Goodfellas Casino Arena. The vibrant sVo logo glows behind the set as the hometown crowd can still be heard buzzing faintly from the arena.]

[Katie Smith stands with a mic in hand, next to a slightly sweaty but smiling JASON MARTEL — “The High Stakes Hero” — still catching his breath from the match.]

Katie Smith:

Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with the man of the moment — Las Vegas’ own — the “High Stakes Hero” himself, Jason Martel! Jason, congratulations on yet another huge win tonight. That makes three straight since debuting here in the sVo. How are you feeling?

Jason Martel:

(grinning, brushing sweat off his brow)

Katie, I feel incredible. I mean, three matches, three wins — and right here in my hometown? You couldn’t write it any better. The energy from that Vegas crowd out there? That’s what fuels me. That’s what pushes me to keep climbing.

(He nods to the camera, clearly fired up.)

Jason Martel (cont.):

When I came to sVo, I knew I was stepping into the deep end. This place is stacked with talent — top to bottom. But I’ve proven, week after week, that I belong in that conversation. That I’m not just some rookie… I’m a contender. And now? I’m ready for more. Bigger matches. Tougher opponents. Give me a shot, and I’ll take it all the way to the Jackpot.

(He smirks confidently.)

The cards are falling my way, Katie… and I’m just getting started.

Katie Smith:

(smiling)

Strong words from a man on a serious hot streak. Jason, congrats again, and best of luck as the road to Jackpot continues!

(She turns slightly toward the camera.)

Katie Smith (cont.):

Fans, don’t go anywhere — because up next, we’ve got The Malones taking on the Sin City Scoundrels in tag team action. You won’t want to miss it!

[CAMERA FADES OUT as Martel gives a final nod and exits the interview area, the hometown crowd popping again faintly in the background.]

Tag Team Match
The Malones vs. Sin City Scoundrels

Backstage

The office is sleek and modern, decorated with framed sVo posters and championship replicas. Behind the desk, COO AMY PAGE sits in a tailored suit, reviewing a thick stack of paperwork. The door swings open and in walk the sVo Tag Team Champions — The Southern BoysDave Miller and Dan Williams, both wearing their gold proudly over their shoulders. At their side is their sharp-tongued manager, Haley Dallas, in her signature designer cowboy hat and boots.

Haley Dallas:

(with a knock and then a strut into the room)

Hope we’re not interrupting anything too important, Amy. We just figured now would be a good time for you to let us know when you’re going to make our Tag Title match official for Jackpot. Gambino and Columbo? They want a shot — we say let’s give ’em one.

Amy Page:

(not looking up immediately, flipping a page with calm precision)

Mmm… Gambino and Columbo. Right. I saw what happened last week. You three did issue the challenge… bold move.

(She finally looks up with a slight, knowing smirk.)

But you know, Haley, just because your boys wear gold, doesn’t mean they get to write the booking sheet. That’s my job.

Dan Williams:

(stepping forward, Southern drawl)

We ain’t askin’ to run the show, ma’am. We’re just lookin’ to defend these titles against whoever wants ’em. Blood Money’s been runnin’ their mouths — we’re just offerin’ to shut ’em up.

Amy Page:

(leans back in her chair, lacing her fingers together)

Oh, don’t worry, Dan. You’ll be defending those titles soon enough. But here’s the thing — you may think it’s Gambino and Columbo standing across from you at Jackpot… but this is Las Vegas. You should know better than anyone that sometimes… the cards can change at the last minute.

(That smirk widens.)

Let’s just say I’ve got a few ideas. And none of them involve you boys getting too comfortable.

Haley Dallas:

(stepping up with a glare)

With all due respect, Amy, this team has been fighting champions. They’ve taken on all comers, and they’ve done it without the politics or the backroom deals. So if you’ve got something up your sleeve, maybe it’s time you lay your cards on the table.

Amy Page:

(snaps her fingers and stands abruptly, voice steely)

You don’t get to question me, Haley. Your boys are the champions — for now. But the road to Jackpot is full of twists… and sometimes, gold changes hands when you least expect it.

(She motions to the door.)

Now if you’ll excuse me… I have a division to run. I suggest you prepare for anything.

The Southern Boys exchange a wary glance, while Haley glares daggers at Amy. With no choice, the trio turn and exit as the camera lingers on Amy Page, calmly returning to her paperwork, that smirk never leaving her face.

[FADE OUT]

Single Match
Marty Murdoch vs. Joe Barone

Ringside

The bell has just rung. MARTY MURDOCH lies sprawled on the canvas after being steamrolled by the powerhouse JOE BARONE. Barone paces in the center of the ring, his massive chest heaving, arms raised in dominance. The fans boo loudly as “Blood Money” chants ring out — not in support, but in contempt.

[Crowd: “YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!”]

The boos intensify as the familiar, sleazy brass-heavy theme of Anthony Moretti hits the speakers. The self-proclaimed “Don” of Blood Money swaggers out from the back, dressed in a sharp suit, a smug smirk across his face. A microphone is in hand.

Julian Fiasco (commentary):

Here comes the boss of Blood Money… as if this night hasn’t already been a powerplay for them.

Jeremiah Sloan (commentary):

Joe Barone just destroyed Marty Murdoch, and now Moretti’s out here to gloat. You just know he’s got something to say about Jackpot…

Moretti steps into the ring, patting Barone on the back proudly. The crowd drowns him in boos, but he raises the mic with swagger.

Anthony Moretti:

(grinning)

Now THAT’S how you make a statement.

(gesturing to Barone, who flexes his arms to more heat)

This man right here just turned “Miracle” Marty Murdoch into a public service announcement — a warning to the rest of the locker room: Blood Money runs this place now.

(pauses to soak in the heat from the crowd)

You see, every week, we remind all of you and everyone back there that sVo ain’t a place for fairy tales or feel-good stories. This is about power. Control. Respect.

And in just a few weeks, at Jackpot, we take the final step in our hostile takeover.

(Moretti’s face grows more serious, as he adjusts his tie)

Anthony Moretti:

Now let’s talk about the sVo Championship. The match that was supposed to be Kenneth D Williams versus Victor Holland… cute, right?

(chuckles)

But let’s be real — that match needed some legitimacy, some star power. And that’s why I did what I had to do — insert myself into the match. Make it a triple threat.

(loud boos from the crowd)

Anthony Moretti:

You’re welcome.

(He points to the hard cam)

Kenneth… Victor… you two should be thanking me. Because without me, your little title match was just a main event in name only.

(He scoffs and continues pacing)

Victor Holland? He had his shot — I beat him before, I’ll do it again. He’s not a threat, he’s an afterthought.

And Kenny?

(leans over the ropes to face the camera)

You’ve been holding onto that title with every ounce of strength you’ve got — and I’ll give you credit, champ — you’ve fought hard. But here’s the thing…

(He straightens up, cocky smirk returning)

Hard work doesn’t beat power. Grit doesn’t beat control. And at Jackpot? Blood Money takes it all.

(He holds his arms wide)

The sVo Championship… comes home.

Moretti drops the mic with a heavy THUNK as Joe Barone lifts his arms once again. Their music hits as the fans rain down jeers, but Blood Money stands tall — dominant and defiant.

Julian Fiasco (commentary):

You may not like it, but Anthony Moretti just made his intentions crystal clear — at Jackpot, it’s all about the gold.

Jeremiah Sloan (commentary):

If Kenneth D Williams and Victor Holland want to walk out with that title, they’re going to have to go through Blood Money… and that is no small task.

[FADE OUT as the camera lingers on Moretti and Barone, standing tall under the arena lights.]

Backstage

Camera pans backstage where KATIE SMITH stands with microphone ready, approaching ALEX STERLING, the Las Vegas Champion. Sterling is leaning against a wall, casually scrolling on his phone, sunglasses on.

Katie Smith:

Alex, big night here at the Goodfellas Arena. With Jackpot just weeks away, can you give us an update on your thoughts about your Las Vegas Championship and—?

Sterling glances briefly at Katie, then looks back down at his phone, feigning disinterest.

Katie Smith:

(gently)

Alex? Jake Blackwood has been very vocal about wanting that title shot. Any plans to give him what he’s asking for?

Just then, the sound of heavy footsteps. JAKE BLACKWOOD appears just off camera, walking toward Sterling with a determined look.

Jake Blackwood:

(stepping into frame, voice firm)

Sterling. You’re ducking me. This isn’t gonna last much longer. I want my championship match at Jackpot — no more excuses.

Sterling quickly pockets his phone and glances nervously at Blackwood, then back at Katie, trying to maintain a cool demeanor.

Alex Sterling:

(smirks, shaking his head)

Look, Jake, I get it — you’re a tough guy, but this is Hollywood, baby. It takes more than grit and grit alone to step up to me and the Vegas Championship.

He gestures around the arena, flashy lights reflecting off his belt.

Alex Sterling:

You haven’t earned it yet. I’m about the spotlight, the show, the star power. When you can bring that, maybe we’ll talk.

Without waiting for a response, Sterling quickly turns and starts walking briskly away.

Jake Blackwood:

(calling after him, frustrated but resolute)

You can run all you want, but you will face me at Jackpot. I’m coming for that title.

Blackwood clenches his fists, eyes burning with determination as Sterling disappears around the corner. Katie turns back to the camera.

Katie Smith:

The tension between these two is only getting thicker heading into Jackpot. Will Jake Blackwood finally get his shot? We’ll be watching.

Camera fades as Blackwood stands firm, staring after Sterling’s retreating figure.

Single Match
Carlos Vasquez vs. Dylan MacLeod

Backstage

Carlos Vasquez, still pumped from his win over Dylan MacLeod, strides confidently down the corridor. Suddenly, he collides with Danny Domino, who’s leaning casually against the wall with a smirk.

Danny Domino:

(mocking)

Well, well, if it isn’t the Miami Maverick. Thought you were washed up after your last run with the title. Looks like past your prime, Vasquez.

Carlos Vasquez:

(cool but sharp)

Danny, you’re just a bully who talks big but folds when it matters. I don’t need to prove anything to you — I’m here to win the Jackpot Rumble and show everyone who the real champion is.

Danny Domino:

(laughs)

You? Winning the Rumble? You’re all flash, no fire. I’m the one who’s gonna walk out of that battle royal standing tall.

The tension escalates as they step closer, eyes locked.

Carlos Vasquez:

You can say whatever you want, but when the bell rings, you won’t last long. I’m not just fighting for myself — I’m fighting for respect.

Danny Domino:

(shoves Vasquez hard)

We’ll see who’s left standing, Miami.

Carlos stumbles but quickly regains his composure, shoving Danny back.

Carlos Vasquez:

Bring it on, Bully. Jackpot’s gonna be fireworks.

Suddenly, a referee and security guard rush in, pushing them apart before the confrontation can get physical.

Referee:

Hey! Save it for the ring!

Danny glares at Vasquez as they’re separated, both men breathing heavily, eyes burning with fierce determination.

[Cut to Katie Smith, who steps into frame with a knowing smile.]

Katie Smith:

The stakes couldn’t be higher as Carlos Vasquez and Danny Domino gear up to clash in the Jackpot Rumble. Sparks are already flying backstage — and that’s just the beginning.

Camera fades with the tension still thick in the air.

Single Match
Kenneth D Williams vs. Anthony Moretti

Ringside

The arena is buzzing after Anthony Moretti’s hard-fought non-title victory over sVo Champion Kenneth D Williams. Moretti stands tall in the ring, soaking in the boos as he raises a microphone.

Anthony Moretti:

(smirking, loud)

Last week, I showed everyone that Victor Holland couldn’t beat me. Tonight, I proved Kenneth D Williams can’t either! Jackpot is gonna be my night. I’m not just muscling in — I’m taking that title home!

Moretti drops the mic and continues to celebrate, pacing around the ring like a predator.

Meanwhile, Kenneth D Williams slowly sits up on the mat, breathing heavily but clutching the sVo Championship close to his chest, his face a mix of frustration and steely determination. He stands, raising the belt in defiance despite the loss.

The camera zooms in tightly on the championship as Williams stares out at the crowd, the weight of the upcoming triple threat match clearly settling in.

[CUT TO BACKSTAGE]

Victor Holland is standing alone in front of a large monitor, watching the replay of the match with intense focus. His jaw is clenched, eyes sharp as he absorbs Moretti’s words and Williams’ resilience.

He slowly clenches his fist, a look of fierce determination on his face.

Victor Holland:

(muttering to himself)

This isn’t over. Jackpot… I’m taking that title.

The screen fades as the arena lights dim, leaving anticipation hanging thick in the air.

[END OF SHOW]
