sVo Showdown 227
📺 Live on the Sanctioned Violence Network
📍 Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
📆 1st June 2025
[Camera opens on the roaring crowd at the Goodfellas Casino Arena]
Julian Fiasco:
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to another explosive night of action here at the Goodfellas Casino Arena! This is sVo Showdown 227, live on the Sanctioned Violence Network! I’m Julian Fiasco…
Jeremiah Sloan:
…and I’m Jeremiah Sloan! We’ve got a stacked card tonight, Julian, with some of the toughest, most determined competitors in the business ready to leave it all in the ring.
Julian:
That’s right, Jer. We kick things off with ‘Python’ Noah Rogan going toe-to-toe with ‘the Bully’ Danny Domino. These two have some bad blood, and I’m expecting a brutal fight to get us going.
Jeremiah:
No doubt. Then Marty Murdoch takes on Clam Idia, so the action keeps coming early! Murdoch’s been looking for momentum, and Idia is no easy opponent.
Julian:
After that, we’ve got a tag team battle that could shake up the division — hometown hero CJ Dreamer teams with Ricky Johnson to take on the Blood Money Soldiers. That group has been making waves lately, and Dreamer and Johnson need to show they’re not backing down.
Jeremiah:
Plus, rising star Dylan McLeod faces the charismatic Jason Martel, who’s been making quite the impression since his debut. I’m excited to see how these two styles clash inside the ring.
Julian:
And to close the night, we’ll have ‘the Miami Maverick’ Carlos Vasquez in singles action against the scrappy Jay Adder. Vasquez is hungry after losing the sVo Championship and looking to make a statement here tonight.
Jeremiah:
Every match tonight matters, Julian — the road to Jackpot 2025 is speeding up with only two weeks to go, and every win or loss could change the landscape of the sVo.
Julian:
So, buckle up, folks. The action starts now, and you do NOT want to miss a second of sVo Showdown 227!
[Camera pans over the crowd as the opening match is about to begin]
Single Match
Noah Rogan vs. Danny Domino
Backstage
The camera cuts to the backstage interview area, where the ever-professional and polished redhead, Katie Smith, stands with microphone in hand. Beside her is the scrappy, determined underdog ‘Miracle’ Marty Murdoch, already in his ring gear and bouncing on the balls of his feet, ready for action.
Katie Smith:
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time — the always-spirited, always-fighting, Miracle Marty Murdoch! Marty, in just a few moments, you’ll be going one-on-one with Clam Idia — what’s your mindset heading into this match?
Marty Murdoch:
(Nods and grins with intensity) Katie, I’ve been the underdog my whole life. Whether it’s on the playground or in the ring, people love to count me out. And yeah, Clam Idia’s slimy, sneaky, and just plain scuzzy, but I’ve got heart — and sometimes, heart beats hustle.
Katie Smith:
Speaking of being counted out, you just witnessed Danny Domino — someone who’s made it clear he doesn’t believe in you — absolutely dismantle Noah Rogan out there. That must have hit close to home.
Marty Murdoch:
(His smile fades briefly, replaced by a determined stare) I saw it. I’m not blind. I know Domino’s been laughing at me, talking trash, saying I should stay out of the Jackpot Rumble. But here’s the thing, Katie — I’m not in this business to impress bullies. I’m in it to outlast them.
(He turns to the camera directly)
So Danny, laugh all you want. Underestimate me. Because when that Rumble comes around, and you hear that crowd chanting my name — you’ll know that the ‘Miracle’ is still alive. And as for Clam Idia tonight? He’s just the next guy standing in my way.
Katie Smith:
Strong words from a fired-up Marty Murdoch. Good luck out there tonight, Marty!
Marty Murdoch:
Thanks, Katie. Time to show Vegas what a Miracle really looks like.
(Murdoch slaps his hands together and jogs off toward gorilla position as the camera fades to the next segment.)

Marty Mudoch vs. Clam Idia
Backstage
The camera follows the bustling backstage hallway as the arena hums with pre-show energy. The crowd roars faintly in the distance. The double doors to the loading bay swing open — and in steps the sVo Heavyweight Champion, “The Human Highlight Reel” Kenneth D Williams, rolling a travel bag behind him and carrying his championship belt slung proudly over one shoulder.
Almost immediately, the always-professional Katie Smith intercepts him, microphone in hand and camera crew in tow.
Katie Smith:
Kenneth! Kenneth — welcome to Showdown 227! You’re not scheduled to compete tonight, but I’ve got to ask… what’s your reaction to Anthony Moretti inserting himself into your sVo Championship match at Jackpot, making it a triple threat between yourself, Victor Holland, and Moretti?
Williams adjusts the title on his shoulder, raises an eyebrow, then smirks confidently.
Kenneth D Williams:
Katie, I heard about that. And you know what? I ain’t mad. I’m glad.
Moretti wants to sneak his way into the spotlight? Fine. That just means I get the chance to shut him up again — this time on the biggest stage, with the whole world watching.
Katie Smith:
So you’re not concerned about the odds changing now that it’s a triple threat?
Kenneth D Williams:
(Grinning) Katie, I’ve been fighting uphill my whole career. One man, two men, hell — throw in the whole damn Blood Money crew if you want. I’m not scared of defending this belt.
I beat Vasquez. I earned this. And I’ll fight tooth and nail to keep it — whether it’s Victor Holland, Anthony Moretti, or both. The “Human Highlight Reel” doesn’t back down.
Katie Smith:
Strong words from the champ. Thanks for your time, Kenneth — and good luck at Jackpot!
Kenneth D Williams:
(Nods, tightening his grip on the title) They’re the ones who are gonna need luck.
Williams gives Katie a respectful nod and strides past, heading toward his locker room as the camera lingers on the gleam of the championship belt and fades out.
Backstage
The camera cuts to a smoky, dimly lit locker room somewhere deep in the belly of the Goodfellas Casino Arena. Leather couches, a table with half-played poker cards, and a faint jazz tune playing from a vintage radio set the mood. Sitting at the head of the table in a sharp, tailored suit is the boss himself — Anthony Moretti. The sVo veteran is calm, collected, yet there’s a simmering edge to his voice.
Standing nearby are Junior Gambino and Nicky Columbo, both geared up in matching “Blood Money” ring jackets, stretching and cracking their knuckles like a couple of street-hardened enforcers. Across the room, Joe Barone looms silently, arms crossed, stone-faced.
Anthony Moretti:
(Leaning back in his chair, staring at Gambino and Columbo)
Alright boys, listen up. Tonight ain’t just about hurting people — it’s about making a statement.
CJ Dreamer? Ricky Johnson? They’re nobodies. Flashy smiles, empty moves. You go out there, you embarrass them. You leave ‘em laid out in that ring like they just owed us money and couldn’t pay up.
(He stands, straightening his cufflinks, voice now rising with that unmistakable Moretti edge)
Because when you do? When you take out the trash tonight… that earns us a shot at the Tag Team Titles at Jackpot. The Southern Boys been playing cowboy long enough. It’s time we bring the gold back to where it belongs — with Blood Money.
Junior Gambino:
(Smirking, nodding to Columbo)
Don’t worry, boss. We’ll make ‘em wish they never laced up their boots tonight.
Nicky Columbo:
They won’t even make it to Jackpot after what we do to ‘em.
Anthony Moretti:
(Grinning now)
That’s what I like to hear. Remember… tonight, you ain’t just fighting for pride. You’re fighting for power. So don’t just win — send a message.
Gambino and Columbo bump fists and storm out of the locker room with purpose. The camera lingers on Moretti, who picks up a glass of whiskey from the table and raises it toward Barone.
Anthony Moretti:
To business.
Barone nods, and the scene fades out as the jazz music kicks up just a little louder.
Backstage
The camera cuts to the backstage interview area, where the ever-professional redhead Katie Smith stands with a warm smile and a microphone in hand. Next to her, wearing a black leather jacket over his ring gear and proudly displaying a maple leaf on his sleeve, is the determined Canadian fan-favorite, ‘Northern Fury’ Dylan McLeod.
Katie Smith:
Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with one of sVo’s toughest and most tenacious competitors — ‘Northern Fury’ Dylan McLeod!
Dylan, tonight you go one-on-one with an impressive newcomer in ‘High Stakes Hero’ Jason Martel. What are your thoughts heading into this match?
Dylan McLeod:
(Nods with a respectful smirk)
Well Katie, I watched Martel’s debut just like everyone else — and I’ll give credit where it’s due. The guy’s got talent. He came in with a ton of momentum and made an impact right away. But tonight?
(His expression sharpens, eyes full of grit and focus)
Tonight isn’t about Martel. Tonight’s about me getting back on track. I’ve had a rough couple of weeks, and I’m not shy to admit it. But I’m not the type to stay down. I’ve fought too hard, and I’ve come too far to fade into the background now.
Katie Smith:
And with the Jackpot PPV right around the corner, I assume you have your eyes on the Jackpot Rumble?
Dylan McLeod:
(Nods confidently)
Absolutely. The Jackpot Rumble is a chance to punch your ticket to the top. And if I want to make noise in that match — if I want to stand tall at the end and earn my shot at the sVo Championship — then it starts right here, tonight.
No shortcuts. No excuses. Just one match at a time.
(He looks directly into the camera, voice calm but fierce.)
Martel? I hope you’re ready to go the distance… because Northern Fury’s coming in like a blizzard, and I’m not slowing down for anybody.
Katie Smith:
Strong words from Dylan McLeod. We’ll see if he can turn the tide later tonight against Jason Martel! Back to you at ringside!
The camera fades as McLeod walks off, slapping his fist into his palm with quiet determination.
Tag Team Match
CJ Dreamer & Ricky Johnson vs. Blood Money Soldiers
Ringside
The bell rings following a hard-fought tag team match. The crowd boos loudly as Junior Gambino and Nicky Columboof Blood Money have their arms raised after defeating CJ Dreamer and Ricky Johnson. The referee tries to check on the fallen babyfaces, but the mood shifts quickly as Gambino shoves the ref away.
Julian Fiasco (commentary):
Wait a minute — what the hell are they doing?! The match is over!
Jeremiah Sloan:
Gambino and Columbo just won, but clearly that’s not enough for Blood Money!
Gambino and Columbo roll to the outside, snarling as they lift the ringside apron and pull out two steel chairs. The crowd erupts in boos as they slide back in, chairs in hand, towering over the wounded CJ Dreamer and Ricky Johnson.
Julian Fiasco:
They’re gonna finish the job, Sloan! This is about sending a message!
Jeremiah Sloan:
No — come on! Someone’s gotta stop this!
Just as Gambino raises his chair high—
🎵 “Country Roads” by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes blasts through the arena! 🎵
The crowd EXPLODES in cheers as the sVo Tag Team Champions, Dan Williams and Dave Miller, collectively known as The Southern Boys, charge down the ramp, gold around their waists and fury in their eyes.
Julian Fiasco:
It’s the champs! The Southern Boys aren’t gonna let this happen on their watch!
Columbo and Gambino drop their chairs and back up as the Southern Boys slide into the ring. Tension crackles in the air as the two teams stand face-to-face — champions and challengers, fists clenched.
Dan Williams (grabbing a mic):
(Southern drawl, eyes locked on Blood Money)
You boys sure like jumpin’ people from behind and swingin’ chairs. But if it’s a fight you want…
Dave Miller (pointing to the sVo Tag Titles):
…then how ‘bout y’all try it against the champs?
Jackpot PPV.
You two vs. us. Tag Team Titles on the line. You got the guts?
The crowd pops as the challenge is laid down. Gambino and Columbo nod slowly, smirking, backing up toward the ropes.
Julian Fiasco:
Whoa! There it is! Tag titles on the line at Jackpot?! This is gonna be a war!
Blood Money exit the ring, smirking with sinister intent as they point toward the titles on the Southern Boys’ shoulders, while the champs check on CJ and Ricky, standing tall in the center of the ring to a thunderous ovation.
Jeremiah Sloan:
It looks like we’ve got ourselves a tag title match at Jackpot — and folks, business is about to pick up!
Backstage
The camera cuts to the backstage interview area, where Katie Smith is standing with a microphone in hand. Beside her is the confident and stylish Carlos Vasquez, dressed in designer streetwear, sunglasses on indoors, and a cocky smirk across his face.
Katie Smith:
Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with ‘The Miami Maverick’ Carlos Vasquez, who will be in action in tonight’s main event against Jay Adder of Generation Joint. Carlos, with the Jackpot Rumble just a few weeks away, how important is it to build momentum here tonight?
Carlos Vasquez: (smirking, adjusting his shades)
Katie… momentum is everything right now. Everybody’s scrambling, everybody’s trying to make a name before the Jackpot Rumble — but the truth is, half these guys ain’t built for the pressure.
(He removes his sunglasses and leans in closer to the mic.)
Carlos Vasquez:
But me? I was made for nights like this. I thrive in the spotlight. Jay Adder? Cool gimmick, cute crew — but this isn’t a joint he’s gonna enjoy. When that bell rings, I’m not just walking into the main event…
I’m walking out the one with his hand raised… and a whole arena knowing that ‘The Miami Maverick’ is the one to watch come Jackpot.
Katie Smith:
Confident words, Carlos. We’ll see if you can back them up later tonight!
Carlos Vasquez: (flashing his signature grin)
Katie, I don’t back down. I back it up. Watch.
He tosses his shades back on and walks off camera with swagger as Katie turns to face the camera.
Katie Smith:
There you have it — Carlos Vasquez fired up and ready for tonight’s main event. Back to ringside!
Single Match
Dylan McLeod vs. Jason Martel
Backstage
The camera cuts to the backstage interview area where Katie Smith stands, microphone in hand, smiling warmly for the camera. Beside her stands a focused and intense Victor Holland, dressed in his ring gear with a towel draped over his shoulder. The atmosphere is serious as the crowd can be heard reacting from the arena.
Katie Smith:
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time — the man who many believe should be the sole challenger for the sVo Championship at Jackpot — Victor Holland.
Victor, after everything you went through to earn your title opportunity, how do you feel about Anthony Morettiinserting himself into the main event and making it a triple threat match?
Victor Holland: (jaw clenched, eyes burning with frustration)
Katie, I’m not gonna lie — I’m not thrilled. I beat Moretti. Clean. One-on-one. At the last PPV. I went through the war, I earned my shot fair and square.
(He pauses and takes a breath, steadying himself.)
Victor Holland:
But I know how this game works. Standing back here whining about it ain’t gonna do a damn thing. Moretti wants to crash the party? Fine. Let him.
Because the way I see it, all it means is I get the chance to beat him again…
And this time? I walk out with the sVo Championship.
(He glares into the camera with unwavering intensity.)
Victor Holland:
I don’t care if it’s one-on-one or three-way chaos — come Jackpot, I’m not walking in as a contender.
I’m walking out as the champion.
He nods to Katie and walks off with purpose, leaving her standing as the camera lingers on her.
Katie Smith:
Strong words from a determined Victor Holland. The Jackpot PPV just got a lot more personal. Don’t go anywhere — more action still to come here tonight!
Camera fades back to ringside.
Single Match
Jay Adder vs. Carlos Vasquez
Ringside
The bell rings as Carlos Vasquez’s music hits following a hard-fought victory over Jay Adder. The fans are buzzing with mixed reactions — some booing the cocky Miami native, others begrudgingly impressed by his in-ring performance. Jay Adder rolls out of the ring, clutching his ribs, as Vasquez climbs the turnbuckle, arms raised triumphantly.
Julian Fiasco (commentary):
Carlos Vasquez picks up a big win in tonight’s main event, and with the Jackpot Rumble just around the corner, momentum is everything!
Jeremiah Sloan:
Say what you want about the Miami Maverick’s attitude, but there’s no denying — he’s peaking at the right time.
In the ring, Vasquez grabs a microphone from the timekeeper and wipes the sweat from his brow with a cocky grin. The crowd boos as he raises the mic to his mouth.
Carlos Vasquez:
(smirking)
Vegas, you’re welcome.
(boos get louder)
That right there? That’s why I’m the most dangerous man walking into the Jackpot Rumble in a few weeks.
He walks slowly around the ring, soaking in the heat.
Carlos Vasquez:
Every single one of those guys in the back — Kenneth D Williams, Victor Holland, Anthony Moretti — they better watch their backs. ’Cause when I throw twenty-nine other bodies over that top rope, there won’t be any confusion.
No politics. No sneak attacks. No mafia games. Just me, standing tall, earning my shot.
(He taps his chest arrogantly.)
Carlos Vasquez:
And when I get that shot? I finish what I started. I take back the gold that should’ve been mine already. The sVo Championship will once again shine in the spotlight it deserves — under my name. Under my legacy.
(He holds his arms wide, as the crowd showers him with boos.)
Carlos Vasquez:
This is my city now. The Jackpot Rumble? That’s just the beginning.
Carlos drops the mic with a thud, climbs the turnbuckle once more, and gestures the “title belt” motion around his waist.
Julian Fiasco:
Carlos Vasquez sending a clear message to the entire sVo locker room!
Jeremiah Sloan:
And if he enters the Jackpot Rumble with this much momentum, you’d be crazy to count him out!
The camera lingers on Vasquez standing tall in the ring, lit by spotlights as his music blares once more. The final shot of the show fades out on his smug, confident expression.
