sVo Showdown 223
Live on the Sanctioned Violence Network
Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
27th April 2025

[The broadcast opens with a sweeping shot of the electric crowd inside the iconic Goodfellas Casino Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fans are on their feet, waving signs and making noise as the familiar sounds of the Sanctioned Violence Network theme music plays. Pyro erupts from the stage, lighting up the arena in an explosion of color.]

[The camera cuts to the commentary desk where Julian Fiasco and Jeremiah Sloan are standing by, headsets on and excitement in the air.]

Julian Fiasco:

“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another edition of sVo Showdown, coming to you live from the legendary Goodfellas Casino Arena right here in the fight capital of the world, Las Vegas, Nevada!”

Jeremiah Sloan:

“We are just one week away from Countdown to Violence, and tonight, tensions are running white hot across the board!”

Julian Fiasco:

“That’s right, Jeremiah. In just seven days, ‘The Human Highlight Reel’ Kenneth D Williams challenges ‘The Miami Maverick’ Carlos Vasquez for the sVo Heavyweight Championship! And tonight, those two will have to team up to take on a very dangerous duo—Danny Domino and the Las Vegas Champion Alex Sterling!”

Jeremiah Sloan:

“And speaking of Sterling, Dylan MacLeod’s long road to a Las Vegas title shot might finally reach its end tonight! He’s set to go one-on-one with Victor Holland, and the winner earns the number one contendership!”

Julian Fiasco:

“Victor Holland has been a thorn in the side of Blood Money lately, and Anthony Moretti has made it crystal clear that he’s declared war on Holland. Will Blood Money get involved tonight? We’ll have to wait and see!”

Jeremiah Sloan:

“Plus, in tag team action, the Southern Boys tune up for their sVo Tag Team Title defense against the Sin City Scoundrels by taking on The Malones tonight!”

Julian Fiasco:

“Not to mention, we’ve got  Jay Adder from Generation Joint going one-on-one with the always scrappy Ricky Johnson!”

Jeremiah Sloan:

“The road to Countdown to Violence is getting bumpier by the second, and it all goes down tonight on Showdown 223!”

[The camera cuts to the ring as the first match is ready to get underway, the crowd buzzing with anticipation for another explosive night of sVo action!]

Las Vegas Championship #1 Contenders Match
Victor Holland vs. Dylan MacLeod

Backstage
Wasn’t Worried Anyway

[The camera cuts backstage to the dimly lit corridors of the Goodfellas Casino Arena. We see the Las Vegas Champion, “The LA Luminary” Alex Sterling, standing in front of a monitor. Sterling scowls as he watches footage of Dylan MacLeod celebrating in the ring after his hard-fought victory over Victor Holland—a win aided heavily by Blood Money’s interference.]

Alex Sterling:

(Muttering under his breath)

“You’ve gotta be kidding me… after all this time, I still gotta face that stubborn Canadian at the PPV? Unbelievable…”

[Sterling shakes his head in frustration, cursing under his breath. He turns away from the monitor, only to find Danny “The Bully” Domino approaching with his usual swagger.]

Danny Domino:

“Hey, champ. You can cry about your problems later. Right now, you need to keep your head in the game. We got a main event to win tonight, remember?”

[Sterling quickly straightens up, trying to play it cool, flashing a cocky grin.]

Alex Sterling:

“Relax, big man. I’ve got this. Tonight, we wipe the floor with Vasquez and Williams. Easy money. As for Dylan MacLeod? Pfft. He’s lucky to even be breathing, let alone stepping in the ring with me at the PPV.”

Danny Domino:

(Grinning as he slaps Sterling on the back)

“That’s more like it. Let’s get this done tonight, then you can worry about making sure that Canuck never even touches your gold.”

[Sterling nods, masking his nerves with bravado as the two head down the hallway toward the gorilla position, ready for the night’s explosive main event.]

[The camera lingers for a moment longer on the monitor, where Dylan MacLeod continues to celebrate his big win, before fading out.]

Tag Team Match
The Southern Boys vs. The Malones

Ringside
Put Up or Shut Up

[The crowd at the Goodfellas Casino Arena is electric as “Country Roads” by John Denver blares over the sound system. In the center of the ring, the sVo Tag Team Champions, Dan Williams and Dave Miller — the Southern Boys — stand proudly, each holding a championship belt high above their heads. Their manager, Haley Dallas, claps and smiles wide, rallying the fans to cheer even louder after the hard-fought victory over the Malones.]

Julian Fiasco:

“The Southern Boys just keep proving why they’re the champs, folks! Another massive win tonight!”

Jeremiah Sloan:

“You better believe it, Julian — but the real storm is coming next week at Countdown to Violence when they face the Sin City Scoundrels!”

[Haley Dallas calls for a microphone from ringside, and the music fades down as the crowd continues to cheer. Dan and Dave stand behind her, belts draped over their shoulders, still catching their breath but smiling confidently.]

Haley Dallas:

“Las Vegas! Let’s hear it for your Tag Team Champions!”

[Huge pop from the crowd.]

Haley Dallas:

“Now listen up, Sin City Scoundrels — I know you two snakes are watching somewhere backstage, huddled together with whatever plan you’re cooking up for next week. But let me tell you something real clear, real simple…”

[Dallas paces in the ring, fire in her voice.]

Haley Dallas:

“At Countdown to Violence, this little feud between us? It ends. No more sneak attacks. No more running scared. No more cheap shots after the bell. You want these belts?”

[She holds up the Southern Boys’ tag titles.]

“Then next Sunday, you’re gonna have to earn them. And we promise you — you’re gonna have to bleed for ‘em too!”

[The crowd roars with approval as Dan Williams steps forward and nods aggressively.]

Haley Dallas:

“So next week, it’s time to put up or shut up, boys. The Southern Boys ain’t going nowhere — and after Countdown to Violence, we’re still walking out the Tag Team Champions!”

[The Southern Boys raise their belts high once more as fireworks go off on the entrance stage. The crowd is firmly behind them as they stare defiantly into the camera — a direct message to the Sin City Scoundrels wherever they might be watching.]

Julian Fiasco:

“The Southern Boys sending a loud and clear warning, Jeremiah! Countdown to Violence is going to be explosive!”

Jeremiah Sloan:

“The Scoundrels better be ready for the fight of their lives!”

[Fade out.]

Backstage
Already Booked

[The camera cuts to the back hallways of the Goodfellas Casino Arena. We see Anthony Moretti storming down the hallway with a furious look on his face. His usual confident swagger is replaced with anger, and the sound of his footsteps echoes off the walls as he approaches the office of sVo COO Amy Page. He opens the door without knocking, and enters without hesitation.]

Anthony Moretti:

“Page! I need to talk to you… NOW.”

[Amy Page is seated behind her desk, calmly looking over some papers. She doesn’t even look up as Moretti enters the room, continuing her work.]

Amy Page:

“Well, if it isn’t my favorite mafia boss. What’s on your mind, Moretti?”

[Moretti slams his fist on the desk, causing the papers to flutter slightly.]

Anthony Moretti:

“Don’t play games with me, Page. I want a match against Victor Holland at Countdown to Violence. He’s been a thorn in my side for weeks, and I’m done with his nonsense. I’m making sure that punk gets put in his place!”

[Amy Page finally looks up at him, her expression almost amused.]

Amy Page:

“You really think I’m just going to hand you what you want, Moretti?”

[Moretti narrows his eyes, trying to maintain control.]

Anthony Moretti:

“I’m the reason this company runs smoothly. You’ve been having problems with Blood Money, but the one thing I’ve done since day one is ensure that sVo stays strong. You’re going to give me this match.”

[Amy Page leans back in her chair and smirks.]

Amy Page:

“Well, funny thing, Moretti… I’ve already got that match booked. Victor came in after what you guys did in his match, and he made the same request. So, guess what?”

[She holds up a piece of paper and slides it across the desk.]

“It’s official. You two will clash at Countdown to Violence next Sunday.”

[Moretti stares at her, momentarily taken aback.]

Anthony Moretti:

“He wants this match?”

Amy Page:

“Victor Holland asked first, Moretti. That’s how it works. But since you’re so… eager to get your hands on him, I’ve got something else for you tonight.”

[Moretti raises an eyebrow, sensing a potential trap.]

Anthony Moretti:

“What are you talking about?”

Amy Page:

“Tonight, you and your boys are going to earn that match with Holland. Two of your Blood Money guys are facing my Enforcers in tag team action!”

[Moretti’s expression darkens as he grits his teeth.]

Anthony Moretti:

“What? Are you kidding me? You’re throwing that at me now? After what we did to Holland earlier?”

Amy Page:

“That’s right. And you can tell your boys that if they don’t show up and handle business, there will be consequences. I’m sick of seeing Blood Money getting involved in every little thing. Tonight, you’re going to pay the price.”

[Moretti seethes for a moment, clenching his fists. He takes a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down.]

Anthony Moretti:

“Fine. You want to play those games, Page? I’ll handle it. But don’t forget who really runs this show.”

Amy Page:

“I think you’re forgetting one thing, Moretti. I make the decisions around here. So, tonight, the Enforcers will show you how it’s done. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll learn a thing or two about following orders.”

[Moretti turns on his heel and storms out of the office, slamming the door behind him.]

[As the camera lingers on Page’s calm, collected demeanor, the segment fades to black.]

Single Match
Jay Adder vs. Ricky Johnson

Backstage
Nobody

[The scene cuts to another part of the backstage area, where Carlos Vasquez, the sVo Heavyweight Champion, is pacing alone in his locker room. The ‘Miami Maverick’ has the sVo Championship slung over his shoulder, and his expression is all business.]

Carlos Vasquez:

(Talking to himself as he shadowboxes lightly)

“Doesn’t matter if it’s Danny Domino, Alex Sterling, or even Kenneth D Williams… nobody’s taking this from me. Nobody.”

[Vasquez pauses, staring down at his championship belt with a cold, intense glare before slinging it back onto his shoulder and heading toward the entrance ramp, focused and ready.]

Backstage
No Comment

[Meanwhile, in a different part of the arena, Kenneth D Williams is shown taping his wrists, getting ready for action. Katie Smith stands nearby, microphone in hand, but Williams just shakes his head.]

Kenneth D Williams:

“No interviews tonight, Katie. I’m all about business. Sterling and Domino are standing in my way — and Vasquez? He’s standing between me and the top of this company. I’m taking them all down, one by one.”

[Williams finishes taping his wrists and throws on his jacket, giving Katie a nod before heading toward the gorilla position, a determined look in his eyes.]

[The camera splits into a two-shot: Vasquez and Williams both walking purposefully down separate hallways toward the arena entrance — rivals now partners, but with tension thick enough to cut with a knife.]

[Fade out as the main event is just moments away!]

Tag Team Match
Blood Money Soldiers vs. The Enforcers

Backstage
Junior

[The camera cuts backstage, where Katie Smith is standing in front of the office of sVo COO Amy Page. She’s holding a microphone, waiting for an interview. Suddenly, the door to Page’s office swings open, and out steps a familiar figure – Katsuhiro Kaneda, the reigning IPWA Junior Heavyweight Champion and RSPW Junior Heavyweight Champion. Smith’s eyes widen in surprise as Kaneda walks past her, his presence unmistakable with his signature gear and championship belts gleaming around his waist.]

Katie Smith (surprised):

“Wait… is that Katsuhiro Kaneda?! What is he doing here?”

[Kaneda gives a brief, courteous nod to Smith but doesn’t say anything as he continues to walk down the hallway, leaving Smith in shock. She quickly regains her composure and rushes into Amy Page’s office, eager for answers.]

Katie Smith:

“Amy, what’s going on? What’s Katsuhiro Kaneda doing here? Why is the current IPWA and RSPW Junior Heavyweight Champion in the sVo?!”

[Amy Page looks up from her desk, a confident smirk on her face. She knows exactly what’s coming next.]

Amy Page:

“Oh, Katie, I’m glad you asked. You see, Kaneda isn’t just here for a visit… he’s here to compete. In fact, he’s just signed an exclusive deal with us.”

[Smith looks confused.]

Katie Smith:

“Wait, what? An exclusive deal with sVo?”

Amy Page (nodding, leaning back in her chair):

“That’s right. Kaneda will be defending the IPWA Junior Heavyweight Championship at Countdown to Violence next week. We’re bringing the best, and with Kaneda’s reputation in both IPWA and RSPW, we’re giving our fans something special at the PPV.”

[Katie Smith looks shocked but intrigued, realizing the magnitude of this development.]

Katie Smith:

“So, you’re telling me that Kaneda, one of the top junior heavyweight champions in the world, is going to defend his title right here in the sVo? That’s huge! Is there an opponent already lined up for him?”

Amy Page (smirking):

“You’ll have to wait and see, Katie. I’m not giving everything away just yet. But let’s just say, Kaneda’s debut in the sVo will be a historic one.”

[Amy leans forward, folding her arms with a glint of excitement in her eyes.]

Amy Page:

“This is going to shake things up around here. Kaneda’s signing is a message to the rest of the roster — the sVo is about bringing in the best. We’re always evolving, always looking for the next big thing. Kaneda? He’s the next big thing.”

[Katie Smith looks back at the door, where Kaneda disappeared from view, clearly still processing the significance of the moment.]

Katie Smith:

“Well, there you have it, folks. Katsuhiro Kaneda is coming to Countdown to Violence, and he’s bringing the IPWA Junior Heavyweight Championship with him. This is going to be a massive night!”

[Amy Page gives one last confident look as the camera focuses on her.]

Amy Page:

“This is just the beginning, Katie. Keep watching.”

[The segment ends with the camera cutting to a shot of the sVo logo as the excitement builds for Countdown to Violence.]
