Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
20th April 2025

[Camera opens to a sweeping shot of the packed Goodfellas Casino Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The lights pulse and the crowd is electric as the Showdown 222 theme blasts over the speakers. Pyro erupts at the entranceway as the cameras pan across screaming fans, many holding signs for their favorite sVo stars.]

[Cut to commentary desk with JULIAN FIASCO and JEREMIAH SLOAN standing by, hyped and ready to call the action.]

Julian Fiasco:

“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another explosive edition of sVo Showdown, coming to you LIVE from the legendary Goodfellas Casino Arena right here in Las Vegas, Nevada! I’m Julian Fiasco, joined as always by the voice of reason and chaos himself, Jeremiah Sloan!”

Jeremiah Sloan:

“And tonight, the road to the Countdown to Violence PPV is paved with betrayal, ambition, and a whole lot of fists flying! The tension is reaching boiling point across the sVo, and we’ve got one hell of a card lined up!”

🎯 MAIN EVENT PREVIEW 🎯

Carlos Vasquez may call himself “The Miami Maverick,” but tonight he’s walking into a powder keg, facing none other than Blood Money’s leader Anthony Moretti! Moretti’s out for revenge after losing the #1 contender’s match two weeks ago, and Vasquez is still looking over his shoulder at Kenneth D Williams, the man who’ll challenge him for the sVo Championship on May 4th!

Julian Fiasco:

“Vasquez says he’ll do whatever it takes to hold onto that title, but with Williams breathing down his neck and Blood Money hungry for retribution, can the champ survive tonight?”

💥 HIGH STAKES: FRIEND VS. FRIEND? 💥

Dylan MacLeod wants a shot at the Las Vegas Championship held by Alex Sterling, but sVo COO Amy Page has thrown a grenade into the situation—MacLeod only gets his shot if he beats up his own friend Marty Murdoch tonight!

Can MacLeod bring himself to do what it takes to get that golden opportunity… or will friendship outweigh ambition?

Jeremiah Sloan:

“This might be the toughest decision of Dylan MacLeod’s career, and it’s playing out right in front of our eyes tonight!”

👊 Victor Holland vs. Jake Blackwood

Victor Holland has been a thorn in the side of Blood Money, especially after saving Ricky Johnson and CJ Dreamer from a beatdown last week. Tonight, he gets a chance to continue that momentum against the dangerous Jake Blackwood!

🎯 Las Vegas Champion in Action!

Alex Sterling, always the confident “LA Luminary,” squares off against wildcard Clam Idia—but with Dylan MacLeod still gunning for him, will Sterling be able to keep his focus, or is a storm already on the horizon?

🏆 Tag Team Gold Opportunity!

We kick off tonight with a blockbuster #1 Contenders Match as the arrogant, flashy Sin City Scoundrels take on the high-energy daredevils of Generation Joint!

Who will earn the right to challenge the Southern Boys for the sVo Tag Team Championships?

Julian Fiasco:

“So much on the line, so many rivalries bubbling over—this could be the most explosive Showdown of the year!”

Jeremiah Sloan:

“Let’s not waste another second—let’s head to the ring and get things rolling with our huge tag team #1 contender match! It’s time for sVo Showdown 222!”

[Crowd erupts as the camera cuts to the ring and the opening contest is about to begin!]

Lets Do It!

[Camera fades in on Katie Smith standing by in the interview area, mic in hand, with a visibly conflicted Dylan MacLeod beside her. The normally stoic Canadian looks unusually pensive, arms folded, eyes darting off camera as he wrestles with the decision in front of him.]

Katie Smith:

“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with Dylan MacLeod, who has been handed a tough ultimatum by sVo COO Amy Page. Dylan, tonight you’re scheduled to face Marty Murdock… but it’s no ordinary match. Page says if you want a shot at the Las Vegas Championship, you have to beat your friend. The question on everyone’s mind is—will you go through with it?”

[MacLeod exhales slowly, looking down for a moment before speaking.]

Dylan MacLeod:

“I didn’t come to the sVo to play politics. I didn’t come here to step on friends to get ahead. Marty and I—we came up different, but we’ve got the same heart. The same fire. I’ve got a chance tonight to get what I’ve worked for my whole career… but at the cost of hurting someone who’s just trying to earn his place here.”

“So yeah… I’m on the fence, Katie.”

[Before Katie can respond, the camera catches movement off-screen. Into frame walks none other than the “Underdog” himself—Marty Murdock. He’s dressed to compete, a calm confidence on his face despite the stakes. He gives Dylan a firm nod.]

Marty Murdock:

“Look, Dylan—I appreciate you even hesitating. But you and I both know how Amy Page works. If you back out, she’s just gonna throw someone meaner and nastier at me next week. Someone who won’t hesitate.”

[Marty steps closer, clapping a hand on Dylan’s shoulder.]

Marty Murdock (cont.):

“I didn’t sneak back into this company just to duck fights. I came here to prove I belong. So if I gotta go through you to do it? So be it. We go out there, we give it everything we’ve got, and we let the best man win. And no matter what happens—I’ll still respect the hell outta you.”

[The crowd can be heard cheering in the background as Dylan MacLeod breaks into a small grin, nodding back at Marty.]

Dylan MacLeod:

“Alright, Marty. Let’s give ‘em a match they won’t forget.”

[Marty smirks and walks off down the hall toward gorilla. Dylan watches him go, determination now replacing the doubt on his face.]

Katie Smith:

“Well… it looks like it’s official! Dylan MacLeod will face Marty Murdock tonight—and with everything on the line, this one just got a whole lot more personal.”

[Camera fades out as Dylan turns and heads off toward the ring.]

Is That All?

[The camera follows a sweaty and battle-worn Dylan MacLeod as he walks down the hallway, towel draped over his shoulder, still catching his breath after his hard-fought victory over Marty Murdock. The crowd can still be heard buzzing in the arena as Dylan rounds a corner—only to stop dead in his tracks.]

[Standing in front of the locker room door, arms folded and wearing a disapproving scowl, is sVo COO Amy Page. Dressed in her signature power suit, she taps her fingers impatiently on her arm as Dylan slows his pace.]

Amy Page:

“Well, well, well. There’s the big winner.”

[Dylan raises an eyebrow, clearly expecting a different tone.]

Dylan MacLeod:

“I held up my end of the deal, Amy. I beat Marty. Now I get my shot at Alex Sterling, right?”

[Amy scoffs, pushing off the wall and stepping closer.]

Amy Page:

“You call that a win, Dylan? Please. You went easy on him. That wasn’t the killer instinct of a man who wants to be champion—that was you doing your little buddy a favor. And I don’t reward pity performances.”

[Dylan’s jaw tightens. He takes a step forward, not backing down.]

Dylan MacLeod:

“I did what you asked. I beat him, straight up. You saw the match, Amy.”

Amy Page (smirking):

“Oh, I saw it. And I wasn’t impressed.”

“So here’s how this is gonna go—I’m not giving you your Las Vegas Title shot.”

[Dylan’s eyes widen, shaking his head in frustration.]

Dylan MacLeod:

“You can’t be serious—”

Amy Page (cutting him off):

“Ah ah—don’t whine, MacLeod. You should be thanking me. I’m feeling generous tonight.”

“If you want a shot at Alex Sterling, you’re gonna have to beat the winner of Victor Holland vs. Jake Blackwood. You want to prove you belong in the title picture? Then earn it… like a real champion would.”

[Amy gives him a smug smile before brushing past him, heels clicking down the hallway. Dylan stands there, seething silently as the weight of the new challenge settles on his shoulders.]

[The camera lingers on Dylan’s face—conflicted, focused, and more determined than ever—as the segment ends.]

Single Match
Jake Blackwood vs. Victor Holland

Ringside
Power & Strength

[Victor Holland stands victorious in the center of the ring, breathing heavily but with a triumphant grin across his face. The bell rings, signifying the end of his match against Jake Blackwood, and the crowd erupts into cheers as Holland raises his arms in victory. The commentators, Julian Fiasco and Jeremiah Sloan, praise Holland’s grit and determination.]

Julian Fiasco:

“What a display of toughness from Victor Holland tonight, folks! He just earned a massive opportunity against Dylan MacLeod, and the winner will face Alex Sterling for the Las Vegas Championship!”

Jeremiah Sloan:

“He’s gonna have his work cut out for him, Julian. But tonight, he’s earned the right to go for that title shot. This man is riding high!”

[Holland looks around at the cheering crowd, soaking in the applause. He nods in appreciation before he steps toward the ropes, ready to exit the ring. But suddenly, the mood shifts. The arena lights flicker, and the atmosphere turns cold.]

[The unmistakable sound of mafia-themed music fills the arena as the camera cuts to the entrance ramp. Slowly, out from behind the curtain walks the notorious faction of Blood Money: ANTHONY MORETTI, JOE BARONE, NICKY COLOMBO, and JUNIOR GAMBINO. They stride down the ramp, their presence imposing as they eye Holland in the ring.]

Julian Fiasco:

“Oh, come on! This can’t be good, folks… Victor Holland just earned the chance of a lifetime, and now it looks like Blood Money has other plans!”

Jeremiah Sloan:

“I don’t think this is a celebration for Victor Holland, Julian. We’ve seen what Blood Money does to people when they’re left unchecked—this isn’t about a title shot anymore.”

[The four men of Blood Money surround the ring, their eyes locked on Holland. The crowd starts to boo loudly, sensing trouble, and Holland’s expression shifts from celebration to caution as he turns to face the group. He tries to brace himself for what’s coming.]

Victor Holland (shouting):

“I earned this! I’m not backing down from you!”

[Before Holland can even prepare himself, the attack begins. Moretti steps forward first, landing a brutal forearm to the back of Holland’s head, knocking him off balance. Barone, Colombo, and Gambino immediately follow, jumping into the fray. The four men overwhelm Holland, dragging him to the mat with vicious stomps and strikes.]

Julian Fiasco:

“This is disgusting! Four on one! They’re attacking him after the match is over!”

Jeremiah Sloan:

“Holland didn’t even have a chance to catch his breath before Blood Money turned this into a beatdown. They’re making a statement right now, Julian!”

[Holland fights back with everything he has, throwing punches and trying to stand, but Blood Money is too much. Moretti slaps Holland in the face as Barone drops a knee across his chest, while Colombo and Gambino each take turns choking him against the ropes. The crowd’s boos grow louder with each passing second.]

Julian Fiasco:

“Somebody stop this! Someone needs to get out here and break this up!”

[Suddenly, the entrance music of “The Miami Maverick” Carlos Vasquez hits, and the arena erupts in cheers. The sVo Champion comes rushing down the ramp, title belt slung over his shoulder. The members of Blood Money look momentarily distracted, but Moretti quickly holds up his hand, signaling the others to stay back.]

Jeremiah Sloan:

“Hold on, Carlos Vasquez is coming down here! The sVo Champion doesn’t look like he’s gonna just stand by and let Blood Money do whatever they want.”

[Vasquez enters the ring, raising his title belt high as if to say, “This is mine.” Blood Money watches him, but they hesitate to engage. Vasquez glares at Moretti, the tension between them palpable.]

Julian Fiasco:

“It looks like Vasquez isn’t afraid of Blood Money, but will he do anything to help Holland? Or is he just here for the fight?”

[As the two factions stare each other down, the crowd starts to chant “Holland! Holland!” in support of the beaten man. The camera cuts to a final shot of Moretti sneering at Vasquez, with the situation unresolved as the show fades to black.]

Jeremiah Sloan:

“It’s all about power in the sVo, and it’s clear—Blood Money has it. But don’t count out Carlos Vasquez just yet. What will happen later tonight? Who knows, Julian. But one thing is for sure—we haven’t heard the last of this clash.”

[The show ends with the camera zooming in on the smirking face of Anthony Moretti as the screen fades to black.]

Backstage
Eye on the Prize

[The camera opens to Katie Smith standing in front of the backdrop of the sVo logo. Standing next to her is the Human Highlight Reel Kenneth D. Williams, dressed in his wrestling gear and looking focused. He’s just witnessed the chaos unfold between Blood Money and Carlos Vasquez, but his expression is mixed with curiosity and confidence.]

Katie Smith:

“Kenneth, thank you for taking the time to talk with us. I’m sure you’re still processing what happened just moments ago, with Carlos Vasquez getting involved in the attack on Victor Holland by Blood Money. What are your thoughts on the situation?”

[Kenneth D. Williams laughs lightly, shaking his head.]

Kenneth D. Williams:

“Well, Katie, I have to say… I’m surprised, honestly. I thought Vasquez was above all that, you know? But there he was, walking down the ramp like he’s about to throw down with Blood Money—just standing there, watching it all go down. He didn’t even step in to help Victor Holland. I guess that tells me a lot about his true colors.”

Katie Smith:

“Are you saying you expected more from the sVo Champion?”

Kenneth D. Williams:

“Yeah, I did. I thought a champion like Vasquez would be a little more… honorable, maybe? I don’t know. But honestly, at this point, I don’t care. All I care about is the fact that I’m getting my shot at that title at the Countdown to ViolencePPV. He wants to play games with Blood Money, he can do that. But when it comes down to it, he better focus on the fight that really matters—the one against me.”

[Williams cracks his knuckles as he continues, his eyes narrowing in determination.]

Kenneth D. Williams:

“You see, when we step into that ring, there’s no one else to rely on. It’s just me and him. I’m gonna do what I’ve done best my entire career—I’m gonna outshine him, outwork him, and take that title. No more games, no more distractions. Just me and him, for the gold.”

Katie Smith:

“You’ve been saying for weeks now that you plan on taking the title from Vasquez. But considering the animosity between him and Anthony Moretti, what’s your strategy going into the PPV? Do you want to see them wear each other down in their match tonight?”

[Kenneth D. Williams smirks.]

Kenneth D. Williams:

“Absolutely. I hope they tear each other apart tonight. I don’t like either of them—Vasquez, with his arrogance, and Moretti, with his shady tactics. If they want to beat the hell out of each other, that works for me. Less fight in them when it’s my turn to take them down, right?”

[He pauses for a moment, his smirk widening into a confident grin.]

Kenneth D. Williams:

“Because when I finally get my hands on Vasquez, it’s not about all the politics, all the drama. It’s about me proving I’m the best damn wrestler in this company, and that title is coming home with me. And when that bell rings, I’ll make sure no one forgets who the Human Highlight Reel is.”

Katie Smith:

“Big words, Kenneth. The PPV is just around the corner, and it seems like the stakes couldn’t be higher. Best of luck to you.”

[Kenneth gives a nod and a wink as he walks off-screen.]

Kenneth D. Williams:

“Thanks, Katie. It’s gonna be a highlight reel you won’t want to miss.”

[The camera cuts back to Katie Smith as she turns to face the camera, looking back to the action set for later tonight.]

Katie Smith:

“Kenneth D. Williams clearly isn’t pulling any punches as we head towards the Countdown to Violence PPV. And with the unpredictable events between Carlos Vasquez, Anthony Moretti, and the rest of Blood Money, this rivalry is sure to heat up even more. Stay tuned, we’ve got a lot more action coming your way right here on Showdown 222!”

[The camera fades to black as the show continues.]

Taking Back What’s Ours

[The camera cuts backstage, where Katie Smith stands with a microphone in hand. She’s flanked by Michael and Lucas Sexton, the Sin City Scoundrels. The former sVo Tag Team Champions stand confidently with their arms crossed, the swagger of past champions evident as they prepare to speak.]

Katie Smith:

“Michael, Lucas, congratulations on your victory earlier tonight over Generation Joint. You’ve secured your rematch against the Southern Boys for the sVo Tag Team Championship at Countdown to Violence PPV. How are you feeling about your chances of reclaiming those titles?”

[Michael Sexton, always the more vocal of the two, takes the microphone from Katie with a smirk, his confidence oozing from every word.]

Michael Sexton:

“Feeling? Katie, we’re not just feeling good about it, we know what’s going to happen at the PPV. The Southern Boys—those two, they might have had their moment in the sun, but the time for that is over. We’ve been here before, we’ve worn those titles around our waists, and we’re about to do it again. It doesn’t matter who stands in front of us, because when it’s all said and done, the Sin City Scoundrels will walk out with the gold.”

[Lucas Sexton, quieter but no less intimidating, steps forward and nods in agreement.]

Lucas Sexton:

“You know, we’ve been patient. We’ve watched these so-called ‘champions’ get a taste of what it feels like to hold those belts. But it’s only a matter of time before reality sets in. The Southern Boys, they’re good, but they’re not on our level. At Countdown to Violence, we’re going to show them exactly what happens when you take the titles from the best tag team in sVo history.”

[Michael Sexton grins as he leans in toward the camera, his voice low and serious.]

Michael Sexton:

“We’ve got a lot of respect for the Southern Boys, but let’s be honest here—respect doesn’t win matches. We’ve seen what they’ve got, and we’re prepared for it. We’ve been through wars, we’ve been through it all—and that is what makes us the true champions. We’re coming for those titles, and we’re leaving Countdown to Violence as the new sVo Tag Team Champions. No one is stopping us. Not tonight, not at the PPV, and certainly not the Southern Boys.”

[Katie Smith looks impressed but remains professional.]

Katie Smith:

“Strong words from the former champions. You’ve made it clear that you’re ready to take back what you lost. But, do you think the Southern Boys will be ready for the challenge you’ll bring at the PPV?”

[Michael Sexton chuckles, raising an eyebrow at Katie.]

Michael Sexton:

“Ready? Katie, let me ask you something. How do you get ready for something you’ve never seen before? The Southern Boys can try all they want, but they’ve never faced anything like the Sin City Scoundrels at their very best. They’ll bring their best, sure. But in the end, it’s gonna be us standing tall with those titles, once again proving that no one does it like we do.”

[Lucas Sexton leans in, his expression cold and calculating.]

Lucas Sexton:

“It’s simple. The Southern Boys had their time, but now it’s our time again. We never lost those belts. They were taken from us. And now we’re taking them back. That’s the Scoundrel way.”

[Michael Sexton gives a final, smug smile as he slings an arm around Lucas.]

Michael Sexton:

“Southern Boys, enjoy your time with those belts while you can. Because come Countdown to Violence, they’re coming right back where they belong—in the hands of the Sin City Scoundrels.”

[The camera zooms in on the Scoundrels, who walk off with an air of confidence and dominance, leaving Katie Smith to turn toward the camera.]

Katie Smith:

“Strong words from the Sin City Scoundrels, and they certainly seem determined to reclaim their titles at Countdown to Violence. With the Southern Boys in their sights, this tag team rivalry is only heating up. We’ll have to see how it all unfolds in just a few short weeks.”

[The camera fades out as the segment ends, transitioning to the next part of the show.]

Carlos Vasquez vs. Anthony Moretti

Ringside
The Only Side that Matters

[The camera cuts to the ring where the sVo Champion Carlos Vasquez stands victorious, his arm raised in the air as the crowd roars. He clutches the sVo Championship belt tightly, a proud smirk on his face. The bell rings to signal the end of the match, and as the crowd cheers for the champion, Carlos grabs a microphone.]

Carlos Vasquez:

“So, this is it, huh? The so-called ‘battle’ between me and Anthony Moretti. I came, I saw, and I conquered… just like I said I would. And now, I stand here as the only true champion in the sVo!”

[The crowd responds with a mixed reaction – some cheers for the champion, some boos from the people who are still backing the challenger. Carlos pauses, soaking in the moment before continuing.]

Carlos Vasquez:

“But let’s get something straight, alright? Kenneth D Williams, Anthony Moretti, even Victor Holland, all these guys who think they’re a threat to me or worried about who’s side I am on —you just don’t get it!”

[Vasquez’s tone sharpens, and the camera zooms in as his confidence becomes palpable.]

Carlos Vasquez:

“I’ve heard the talk. Williams thinks he’s got what it takes to take this from me, but I’m telling you right now, Kenneth—you are not on my side, and I am not on yours! You and me? We’re not friends, not allies, not even in the same league. This sVo Championship is mine, and I’m not going to let anyone—anyone—take it from me.”

[The crowd begins to react more passionately, some applauding, others booing, as Vasquez continues his tirade.]

Carlos Vasquez:

“You see, Kenneth, it doesn’t matter how many times you get in my face, or what you do to try to look like you’re ‘worthy.’ I’ve got one thing you don’t—strategy. And at the end of the day, every move I make, every fight I get into, is for one reason only…to keep this title forever!”

[Vasquez raises the sVo Championship belt high above his head, the gold gleaming in the spotlight as he takes a moment to soak in the view from the ring.]

Carlos Vasquez:

“I’m not worried about you, Kenneth. I’m not worried about anyone. Because I’m on my side. And that’s the only side that matters. If you want to come for this title, you better be ready to bleed for it. But don’t get it twisted—I’m not giving it up to anyone. This championship is my legacy, my kingdom… and I’ll burn it all down before I let anyone take it from me.”

[He pauses and looks around, the tension building. His words hang in the air as he glares into the camera.]

Carlos Vasquez:

“So go ahead, Kenneth. Go ahead, Victor. Keep pretending like you can stand in my way. But know this—no one and nothing will stop me from holding onto this championship. Not now, not ever. You want to challenge me? Fine. But be prepared to fail. Because when you step into the ring with me, you’re stepping into the ring with greatness.”

[Vasquez looks at the title again, then back at the camera, his voice dripping with confidence.]

Carlos Vasquez:

“This is my title. This is my time. And I’m keeping it. Forever.”

[With that, Vasquez drops the microphone to the mat, his music playing as he stands tall in the ring, holding the championship high as the crowd reacts—some cheering, others jeering. The camera lingers on him, showcasing the intensity and determination in his eyes.]

[The screen fades to black as the show comes to an end, the final image being Carlos Vasquez standing in the ring with the sVo Championship belt, the undisputed champion for now.]
