The entrance video package for Sunday Night Showdown begins, accompanied by the theme song of ‘Showdown’ by Pendulum as highlights of past action from 2013 to present day are sped up, showing the likes of Bobby Dean, Roscoe Shame, Night, Jay Wildman, Cody Williams & Nathan Paradine. As the video package finally comes to an end with an extended look at the ‘Sunday Night Showdown’ logo, the camera cuts to an exterior shot of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, before cutting to a live shot of inside the arena. The camera pans around the sold-out crowd, most of them on their feet and screaming loudly whilst trying to get their homemade sign shown in front of the camera. The cameras finally head over to the commentary table, where Julian Fiasco and Jeremiah Sloan welcome the fans watching on TV to the broadcast and begin to break down some of the action that will take place on tonight’s show!

The cameras head backstage after the exciting tag team action, to the office of Jon Page the sVo Owner. Page is sitting behind his desk, while in front of him is the massive frame of ‘the Dark Horse’, Curtis Knight.

Jon Page: “Curtis, I got HR hounding me at the moment for what went down last week, those guys you attacked are threatening employee tribunals!”

Knight stands silent, his head bowed slightly.

Jon Page: “Ok got to option buddy, I am going to have to fine you…..”

Knight looks up angrily at Page.

Jon Page: “Don’t give me that look, your lucky it’s not a suspension or even worse! Your gonna have to cover the medical bills for both of them, $50k should cover it….”

Knight stares angrily at the boss.

Curtis Knight: “If that’s how it is Page then that’s how it is. But you better tell everyone in the building tonight, I will pay out $50k weekly no problem in fines if I catch anyone else laughing at me behind my back….”

Knight slowly turns and exits the office, nearly taking the door off of the hinges. Knight clearly is still paranoid about people laughing at him for losing to his wife at the PPV, but will Dallas Jordan pay the price in their Victory Cup match later tonight?

Why?

After the first round Victory cup match, the cameras head to the backstage area where Katie Smith is standing by, microphone in hand, next to former sVo Tag Team Champion Hugo Ryzing! Ryzing has a smug look on his face which only intensifies as he hears the loud boos from inside the arena as soon as the fans see his face on the giant screen.

Katie Smith: “Hugo, thanks for joining me tonight! Now you made a dramatic return to the sVo at the Roll the Dice PPV, shockingly attacking your tag team partner Darwin Jones! I guess the main question that everyone has…. Is why?”

Ryzing laughs to himself at the question.

Hugo Ryzing: “Is that the question that everyone wants to know huh? Well the sVo fans had the chance to hear why last week but they decided to be disrespectful and not let me speak when I headed out to the ring at the top of Showdown!”

There are more loud boos from the fans watching on the arena.

Hugo Ryzing: “So I guess the ‘why’ will have to stay between me and Darwin for now…. I know he isn’t asking that question…. He knows full well ‘why’!”

Ryzing shakes his head angrily.

Hugo Ryzing: “The question you should be asking Katie is where is Darwin? Has anyone actually seen this fraud since the PPV?”

Ryzing taps his temple with his forefinger to signal for Katie to think about it, before slowly walking away from the interview area as the scene fades out.

No Doubt

The cameras head backstage where Johnny Moretti is in the Blood Money locker room, preparing for the main event tonight which will see him face off against the current sVo Las Vegas Champion Big Aug in a Victory Cup first round match! Also in the locker room are fellow Blood Money members Joe Barone & Anthony Moretti.

Anthony Moretti: “Brother, you want us to head down to ringside with you tonight? Maybe we jump that big idiot before the match and make sure things go down the way they should go down? Sure he is tall, but he ain’t no Barone.”

Barone stands tall proudly, his arms crossed across his chest, as they always are when he isn’t using them to club someone over the head.

Johnny Moretti: “No need brother, I got this.”

Moretti continues to lace his boots as the former sVo Champion Anthony Moretti looks confused.

Anthony Moretti: “You sure? I mean he might have those other big trouble idiots in his corner? If they really want some big trouble then they are going to get it bumping heads with Blood Money, am I right?”

Anthony Moretti bumps fists with Joe Barone, but Johnny Moretti again is unmoved.

Johnny Moretti: “Trust me, I got this. Aug might be the Las Vegas Champion, but he is going to wish he stayed home and worked on his YouTube channel when he steps into the ring with me tonight. The Victory Cup is my path back to that sVo Championship, I am winning the match tonight, no doubt.”

Johnny Moretti rises up to his feet and stretches once, before quietly leaving the Blood Money locker room, leaving Anthony Moretti and Joe Barone to look at each other and shrug their shoulders.

My Time

With moments to go until the main event, the cameras head backstage for the last time this evening where Katie Smith is standing by with the ‘Human Highlight Reel’ Kenneth D Williams! There is a big cheer from the fans at the sight of Williams on the giant screen.

Katie Smith: “Kenny, thanks for joining me tonight. Are you here to watch the main event?”

Kenneth D Williams: “I might check out the main event, it’s important to know who my challenger might be once I win that sVo Championship, I am sure that Moretti and Aug will both be after me!”

Katie Smith: “Well last week William Vorheez mentioned that he had heard your challenge and was willing to face all comers for his sVo Championship belt. Does that mean that the match is on?”

Kenneth D Williams: “Well as a matter-of-fact Katie, besides checking out the main event, that is why I am here tonight. I am on my way right now to Jon Page’s office to make that match official. Me vs Vorheez, sVo Championship on the line! Let’s do this thing Katie, it’s my time!”

Williams looks confident as he walks away from the interview area, the camera following him from over his shoulder. Williams walks a short way down the corridor before reaching the door marked ‘Jon Page – sVo Owner’.

Williams knocks twice on the door and hears a ‘Come in’ shout back in a British accent. Williams takes a deep breath and opens the door and walks in, before shutting in back in the face of the camera before the scene fades out.
