The backstage area of the Goodfellas Casino Arena is buzzing with activity as sVo Proving Grounds 53 is underway. Katie Smith stands in the interview area, microphone in hand, as the camera pans to her.

Katie Smith: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, representing Generation Joint, Jay Adder.”

Jay Adder steps into the frame, his expression a mix of frustration and determination. The disappointment of his early exit from the Victory Cup tournament is evident, but there’s also a fire in his eyes as he faces Katie.

Katie Smith: “Jay, it’s been a tough week for you, getting knocked out of the Victory Cup tournament earlier than expected. How are you feeling about that, and what’s your mindset going into your match later tonight against Bronson Martinez?”

Adder sighs, running a hand through his hair as he gathers his thoughts.

Jay Adder: [with a hint of frustration] “Yeah, Katie, I’m not gonna lie—it stings. I had high hopes for the Victory Cup, just like everyone else, and getting knocked out in the first round… it’s a hard pill to swallow. But that’s the nature of this business, right? You win some, you lose some. The key is to keep moving forward, and that’s exactly what I plan on doing tonight against Bronson Martinez.”

Adder pauses, his expression shifting to one of determination.

Jay Adder: [with resolve] “As for the Victory Cup, I might be out, but my boys Kenneth D Williams and Jacob Izaz are still in it. I’ve got all the confidence in the world that they can go the distance and bring that cup home to Generation Joint. We’ve had a rough few weeks, no doubt about it, but this is our chance to turn things around.”

Katie nods, sensing the tension beneath Adder’s calm exterior.

Katie Smith: “Speaking of Generation Joint, there’s been a lot of speculation about Gunner Lang’s absence. We know he’s been off his game lately, and you mentioned last week that you hadn’t heard from him. Is there any update on where he might be or what’s going on with him?”

Adder’s face tightens slightly at the mention of Gunner Lang. He shakes his head, his frustration clear.

Jay Adder: [with concern] “Honestly, Katie, I wish I had an answer for you. We haven’t seen or heard from Gunner since last week, and it’s starting to worry us. He’s been distant, not himself… it’s like he’s got something on his mind that he’s not sharing. We’re a team—we’re supposed to have each other’s backs, and right now, we’re in the dark. But whatever’s going on with him, I hope he sorts it out soon. We need him, especially with everything that’s been going down.”

Katie gives a sympathetic nod, clearly sensing the concern in Adder’s voice. She shifts the focus back to the immediate challenge.

Katie Smith: “Well, tonight you’re up against Bronson Martinez, a formidable opponent in his own right. How are you approaching this match, especially with everything that’s been happening?”

Adder straightens up, his eyes narrowing as he focuses on the task at hand.

Jay Adder: [with determination] “Bronson Martinez is tough, no doubt about that. But I’m tougher. I’ve been through hell these past few weeks, and I’ve got a lot of frustration to work out. Martinez is just the guy who’s gonna be on the receiving end of that. Tonight, I’m not just fighting for myself—I’m fighting for Generation Joint, for the guys who still have a shot at the Victory Cup, and maybe even for Gunner, wherever the hell he is. Martinez better be ready, because I’m coming with everything I’ve got.”

Katie nods, impressed by Adder’s resolve.

Katie Smith: “Thank you for your time, Jay. Best of luck in your match tonight.”

Adder gives a final nod before walking off, leaving Katie to turn back to the camera.

Katie Smith: “Jay Adder, clearly focused and determined to get back on track tonight. Will he be able to channel his frustration into a victory against Bronson Martinez? We’ll find out later tonight, right here on sVo Proving Grounds.”

The segment ends as the camera fades out, leaving the viewers eager to see what unfolds in Adder’s match later in the evening.

Two Roads to the Top

Backstage at the Goodfellas Casino Arena, the atmosphere is electric as sVo Proving Grounds 53 continues. Katie Smith stands in the interview area, microphone in hand, ready to speak with one of the most controversial figures in the sVo. The camera zooms in as she begins to speak.

Katie Smith: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the sVo Roulette Champion, ‘The Bully’ Danny Domino.”

The camera pans out to reveal Danny Domino stepping into the frame, the Roulette Championship slung over his shoulder. His trademark sneer is firmly in place as he looks at Katie with a mix of arrogance and disdain.

Katie Smith: “Danny, you’ve had quite the run lately. Not only are you the reigning Roulette Champion, but you’re also through to the next round of the Victory Cup tournament. How are you feeling about your recent success, and what’s your mindset heading into your title defense tonight against Frankie Malone in the main event?”

Domino adjusts the Roulette Championship on his shoulder, a smug grin spreading across his face.

Danny Domino: [with confidence] “How am I feeling, Katie? I’m feeling exactly how I should be—like the best damn thing in this company. Look at this gold, huh? I’ve been racking up title defenses like it’s nothing, and I’m already onto the next round of the Victory Cup. That tournament? It’s just another stepping stone for me, another way to show the world that ‘The Bully’ is the top dog around here. No one can touch me.”

Katie nods, trying to maintain her professionalism in the face of Domino’s arrogance.

Katie Smith: “Speaking of the Victory Cup, you’ve been vocal about your intentions to win the tournament and eventually cash in for a shot at the sVo Championship. But tonight, your focus has to be on defending that Roulette Championship against Frankie Malone. What’s your strategy going into this match, knowing that Malone is hungry to make a name for himself by taking your title?”

Domino scoffs, clearly unimpressed by the mention of his challenger.

Danny Domino: [with disdain] “Frankie Malone? Please. The guy’s got guts, I’ll give him that, but guts don’t win championships—talent does, and I’ve got it in spades. Malone’s just another guy who thinks he can make a name off me, but he’s in for a rude awakening. My strategy? Same as always—beat him down, break his spirit, and walk out with this belt still around my waist. I’ve taken down better than him, and tonight will be no different.”

Katie shifts slightly, sensing Domino’s confidence but also the underlying tension in the air.

Katie Smith: “You’ve been a dominant Roulette Champion, but the pressure is mounting with each title defense. Do you feel any added pressure knowing that you’re getting closer to that coveted tenth defense, which would earn you a shot at the sVo Championship?”

Domino’s expression darkens slightly, his eyes narrowing as he considers the question.

Danny Domino: [with a cold edge] “Pressure? Katie, the only pressure I feel is the pressure I put on myself to be the best. That tenth defense is coming, make no mistake about it. When I get there, and I will, the sVo Championship is as good as mine. But until then, I’m focused on tonight. Frankie Malone is just another stepping stone, another victim of ‘The Bully.’ And once I’m done with him, the entire roster will be on notice—no one is safe.”

Katie nods, wrapping up the interview as she turns back to the camera.

Katie Smith: “Thank you for your time, Danny. Best of luck in your title defense tonight.”

Domino smirks, giving the Roulette Championship a final pat before walking off, exuding confidence. Katie watches him go, then turns her attention back to the viewers.

Katie Smith: “Danny Domino, as confident as ever, but will that confidence carry him through another successful title defense tonight against Frankie Malone? We’ll find out in the main event, right here on sVo Proving Grounds.”

The camera fades out, leaving the viewers eagerly anticipating the upcoming main event.

Looking for a Shot

Backstage at the Goodfellas Casino Arena, the Sin City Scoundrels, Michael and Lucas Sexton, make their way down a dimly lit hallway. The brothers, dressed in their signature ring gear, look determined as they approach the office of sVo COO, Amy Page. Lucas raps sharply on the door before the two men enter.

Amy Page is seated behind her desk, reviewing some paperwork. She looks up as the Sextons enter, a slight smirk tugging at the corner of her lips as she takes in their confident demeanor.

Amy Page: [calmly] “Michael, Lucas, to what do I owe the pleasure?”

Michael steps forward, his expression serious.

Michael Sexton: [assertively] “Ms. Page, we’ve been busting our asses, racking up win after win, including taking out Patriot Act earlier tonight. We think it’s time we get a shot at the sVo Tag Team Championships.”

Lucas nods in agreement, leaning on the edge of Amy’s desk.

Lucas Sexton: [with a smirk] “We’ve been proving ourselves week in and week out, and we know we’ve got what it takes to be the next sVo Tag Team Champions. We’re just asking for the opportunity to show everyone what we’re made of.”

Amy Page leans back in her chair, regarding the brothers thoughtfully. After a moment, she sets down her pen and folds her hands in front of her.

Amy Page: [with a measured tone] “I’ve been watching you two, and I’ll admit, I’m impressed with what I’ve seen so far. But in this business, it’s not just about racking up wins—it’s about consistency, about proving that you can perform at the highest level when it matters most.”

The Sextons exchange a glance, both nodding slightly, eager to hear what she has to say next.

Amy Page: [continuing] “So here’s the deal. This Sunday at Showdown, you’re going to face the Dogs of War. They’re as tough as they come, and if you can beat them, I’ll consider giving you that shot at the Tag Team Championships. But make no mistake, you need to impress me—not just win, but dominate.”

Michael and Lucas exchange confident smirks, clearly unfazed by the challenge.

Michael Sexton: [determined] “You won’t regret this, Ms. Page. We’ll take down the Dogs of War, and then we’re coming for those titles.”

Lucas leans in closer, a mischievous glint in his eye.

Lucas Sexton: [confidently] “Just make sure those belts are polished up real nice for us.”

Amy Page chuckles lightly, nodding as she picks up her pen again.

Amy Page: [with a smirk] “I look forward to seeing what you can do. Don’t disappoint me.”

The Sin City Scoundrels exchange one final look of determination before turning and leaving the office. As they walk back down the hallway, their confidence is palpable, their focus now on Sunday’s match against the Dogs of War.

The camera lingers on Amy Page for a moment as she watches them leave, a small smile playing on her lips before she returns to her paperwork, the stakes now set for the Sin City Scoundrels at Showdown.
