In My Ear
Scene: The camera transitions from the roaring crowd in the arena to a more subdued, dimly lit locker room. The atmosphere is tense, but supportive. CJ Dreamer, a seasoned veteran, is leaning against a locker with a focused expression, looking directly at his protégé, Ricky Johnson, who is pacing back and forth, visibly frustrated and deep in thought. The young rookie is gearing up for his match later tonight against ‘the Modern Day Cowboy’ Bronson Martinez.
CJ Dreamer: (in a calm, steady voice) “Ricky, listen to me, man. I know the last few weeks haven’t been easy. I’ve seen the doubt creeping in, and I know that loss against Ali Young stings. But tonight…tonight’s a new opportunity. You’ve got a clean slate. What’s done is done, and it’s time to refocus.”
Ricky stops pacing, looking up at CJ with a mix of frustration and determination.
Ricky Johnson: (sighs) “I know, CJ. But it’s hard, you know? Jupiter’s been in my ear, and every time I turn around, she’s right there, reminding me of every mistake, every loss. I’m trying, but it feels like I’m just spinning my wheels.”
CJ Dreamer: (with a reassuring smile) “Forget about Jupiter James. She’s playing mind games, trying to get inside your head because she knows you’re better than what you’ve shown lately. Don’t let her or anyone else make you doubt your abilities. You’re here for a reason, kid. You’ve got the talent, the heart, and the drive to make it in this business. But you’ve gotta block out the noise.”
CJ walks over, placing a hand on Ricky’s shoulder, locking eyes with him.
CJ Dreamer: “Tonight, it’s not about proving anything to Jupiter or anyone else. It’s about proving it to yourself. You’ve faced tough competition before, and you’ve come out on top. Bronson Martinez? He’s tough, no doubt, but he’s beatable. You’ve just got to believe that.”
Ricky nods, the fire slowly returning to his eyes. CJ’s words are clearly resonating with him, helping to push aside the doubt that’s been clouding his mind.
Ricky Johnson: (with renewed determination) “You’re right, CJ. I’ve been letting too much get to me. Tonight, I’m going out there to remind everyone—and myself—why I’m here. I’m not gonna let anything or anyone, especially Jupiter James, throw me off my game anymore.”
CJ Dreamer: (smiling) “That’s what I want to hear. Now, get your head in the game and show the world what Ricky Johnson is all about. We’re in this together, and I’ve got your back, always.”
Ricky takes a deep breath, nodding with a more confident demeanor as the camera fades out, capturing the bond and determination between mentor and protégé. The scene ends with CJ giving Ricky a supportive pat on the back, preparing him mentally for the battle ahead.

No Match for the Bully
The camera cuts to the backstage area of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, where sVo’s veteran interviewer Katie Smith is standing by with a microphone in hand. Next to her, towering with a menacing presence, is the current sVo Roulette Champion, “The Bully” Danny Domino. The tension in the air is palpable as Domino adjusts the Roulette Championship belt draped over his shoulder, his eyes cold and calculating.
Katie Smith: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the sVo Roulette Champion, ‘The Bully’ Danny Domino. Danny, tonight, in the main event, you’re set to defend your Roulette Championship against Puck of the Canadian Connection. Puck has been on a tear since arriving in sVo, but how do you feel about your chances of walking out with your title tonight?”
Danny Domino: (smirking) “Katie, you know as well as I do, I don’t just walk into that ring—I dominate it. Puck’s got some fight in him, sure. I’ve seen what he’s done since coming over here, and yeah, I can respect a guy who doesn’t back down. But respect doesn’t mean a damn thing when the bell rings.”
Katie Smith: “Puck is known for his unrelenting style and ruthless tactics. Are you concerned that his aggression might be a challenge even for someone as formidable as yourself?”
Danny Domino: (chuckles) “Katie, Puck’s aggression is just gonna make this all the more fun. He might think he’s got what it takes, but here’s the thing—no matter how tough you think you are, no matter how much fight you’ve got, everyone breaks when they step into the ring with ‘The Bully.’ Puck’s a big fish from another pond, but he’s swimming in my waters now.”
Katie Smith: “Given your recent streak of title defenses, you’re inching closer to that coveted ten defense mark, which would give you a shot at the sVo Championship. Does that goal motivate you tonight, or are you solely focused on Puck?”
Danny Domino: “Oh, I’ve got my eyes on the prize, Katie. The sVo Championship is the ultimate goal, and I’m not about to let anyone stop me from getting there. But tonight? Tonight, it’s all about Puck. He’s standing in the way of my path to greatness, and I’m gonna bulldoze right through him like I do with everyone else. This title right here isn’t going anywhere.”
Katie Smith: “Thank you for your time, Danny, and good luck in your title defense tonight.”
Danny Domino: (leaning closer to the camera, a sinister smile forming on his face) “Luck’s got nothing to do with it, Katie. Puck’s in for a world of hurt, and when I’m done, he’ll know why they call me ‘The Bully.’”
The camera zooms in on Danny Domino’s intense glare as he adjusts his championship belt one last time before walking off, leaving Katie Smith to close out the segment.
Katie Smith: “There you have it, folks—Danny Domino is ready for his title defense tonight, and he’s got his sights firmly set on victory. Stay tuned for what promises to be an explosive main event!”

Revenge

Julian Fiasco: “What a night it’s been, folks! Danny Domino has just defended his Roulette Championship against Puck, and what a match it was!”
Jeremiah Sloan: “That’s right, Julian. Domino retained his title, but it wasn’t without controversy. Dylan MacLeod made his presence felt in a big way, and it looks like tensions are rising.”
The camera focuses on Puck, Ali Young, Scott Cole, and Jake Hughes who are seething at ringside, clearly upset with how things went down. Puck is yelling at the ring, shaking his fists, while the other members of the Canadian Connection are visibly fuming.
Julian Fiasco: “It looks like Puck and the Canadian Connection aren’t too pleased with the outcome. They’ve got every right to be angry after that interference from Dylan MacLeod.”
Jeremiah Sloan: “Absolutely. Dylan’s actions might have just ignited a fire that could be very dangerous for him. The Canadian Connection won’t take this lightly.”
In the ring, Danny Domino is celebrating as the crowd reacts with a mix of boos and cheers. Domino smirks and raises the championship once more. The camera pans to Puck and his group, who are now furiously discussing their next steps.
Julian Fiasco: “You have to wonder what’s next for these two rival factions. The Canadian Connection and Dylan MacLeod have a lot of unfinished business, and we may just be seeing more of this story unfold in the coming weeks.”
Jeremiah Sloan: “One thing’s for sure, this isn’t over. The Jackpot PPV is just around the corner, and you can bet that tensions will only continue to rise.”
As the camera focuses on Puck, Ali Young, Scott Cole, and Jake Hughes, they point angrily at the ring, promising retribution. Puck grabs a microphone and begins to speak, but before he can say anything, the broadcast cuts to a close-up of Danny Domino standing tall, his title held high. The crowd’s reaction continues to mix as the show begins to fade out.
Julian Fiasco: “And there you have it, folks. What a show it has been. Join us next week as we continue to build towards the Jackpot PPV!”
Jeremiah Sloan: “For now, we’ll see you next time! Until then, keep your eyes on the action!”
The screen fades to black with Danny Domino’s victory celebration still in view, as the arena lights dim and the show goes off the air.
