As the video package finally comes to an end with an extended look at the ‘Proving Grounds’ logo, the camera cuts to an exterior shot of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, before cutting to a live shot of inside the arena. The camera pans around the sold-out crowd, most of them on their feet and screaming loudly whilst trying to get their homemade sign shown in front of the camera. The cameras finally head over to the commentary table, where Julian Fiasco and Jeremiah Sloan welcome the fans watching on the HOTv network on PWA:TV to the broadcast and begin to break down some of the action that will take place on tonight’s show!

It’s Time for the Main Event!

The cameras head backstage to the interview area after the exciting match between Rick Reid and Hiro Ryuu, where Katie Smith is standing by alongside former sVo Tag Team Champion Hugo Ryzing!

Katie Smith – Hugo, thanks for joining me ahead of the main event which is now only moments away! Now you go one on one against Gunner Lang, a man you know well. Does fighting someone you were once so close with give you an advantage or a disadvantage?

Hugo Ryzing – Truthfully Katie, it doesn’t matter if I have never met Gunner before in my life, because I am better than him and that is what is going to matter when we step into the squared circle tonight. I do want to say that I don’t have any big problem with Gunner, he was always a cool enough guy in Horizon…. So tonight he is just another victim who is going to step into the ring with me, and end up with their shoulders pinned to the mat for the three count.

Katie Smith – Well you are certainly confident tonight; do you think if you do pick up the win it will lead to bigger things for you here in the sVo?

Hugo Ryzing – All I care about Katie is picking up that winner’s purse tonight. The bigger things are on the Horizon for me Katie, and you can quote that one on the record.

Ryzing winks to Katie Smith before walking away from the scene and towards the gorilla area.

Katie Smith – Well our main event of the evening is only moments away, with Gunner Lang and Hugo Ryzing both looking to pick up the win and move up the rankings here in the sVo!
