The sVo logo fades on and then off of a black screen before ‘Venom’ by Eminem hits and the opening video package for ‘Against All Odds’ begins to play, featuring classic action with highlights from the likes of Psyko Stevo, Bobby Dean, Anthony Moretti, Roscoe Shame, William Vorheez, Nathan Paradine, JVD & Night.
As the package begins to come to an end, the live camera shows a shot of the outside of the Goodfellas Casino, sitting on the heart of the Las Vegas strip before heading inside and panning around the sold-out Goodfellas Casino Arena inside. Fireworks begin to shoot up from the top of the entrance ramp as fans jump out at the camera trying to get their face on TV as the atmosphere for tonight’s show continues to build, with the music playing over the arena’s sound system.
The camera swings around to see the commentary team of Julian Fiasco & Jeremiah Sloan sitting at ringside, before turning to show the giant screen at the top of the entrance ramp as some of the matchups for tonight’s show are shown.
Backstage
Stick Together
The cameras head backstage to the locker room of Horizon, where the group minus Johnny All Star are all in attendance. JD James, Gunner Lang, Darwin Jones & Hugo Ryzing are all crowded around a monitor watching replays of the last episode of Against All Odds. The one piece of action that is on a loop is Gunner Lang being chokeslammed in the middle of the ring by the sVo Heavyweight Champion William Vorheez.
JD James: “Can you believe he did that to you Gunner?”
Gunner growls as he rubs his back in pain.
Gunner Lang: “I was out there to confront Johnny and had no beef with Vorheez at all. Watching that again just gives me the extra momentum to win that Victory Cup and get my shot at the title finally.”
James glances to Jones and Ryzing, who stay silent knowing what is good for them.
JD James: “You are going to do it Gunner, I have no doubt. When Johnny beats Vorheez for the belt at Ultimate Victory it will be Horizon vs. Horizon for the sVo Heavyweight Championship! We will truly dominate the wrestling business like we talked about in those car journeys all those years ago!”
Gunner reluctantly nods his head.
Gunner Lang: “Me and Johnny can finally settle things then, but for now the most important things are making Vorheez pay and winning the Victory Cup.”
JD James looks delighted as he slaps Gunner Lang on the back.
JD James: “You know it makes sense. Now we need all hands on deck tonight, let’s not let Vorheez get the upper hand with any more attacks before the PPV.”
Gunner Lang: “Well I got to make sure I am prepped up for my Victory Cup match. What’s with Athena, can we get her involved again?”
JD James gravely shakes his head.
JD James: “Things are…. complicated for Athena right now. Let me have a word with her though.”
Horizon look to have turned the corner and be in a confident mood, but can they make the dream of dominating the wrestling business a reality?
Tag Team Match
Canadian Connection vs. Shamrocks
‘Welcome To Toronto’ by K Money hits the sound system, and there are loud boos from the crowd as onto the top of the entrance ramp step Jake Hughes & Scott Cole of the Canadian Connection! Cole and Hughes signal to the crowd with sneers on their faces, before slowly walking down the entrance ramp bopping their heads to the music. Hughes and Cole climb up onto the ring apron on the side of the head camera, and slowly remove their ring jackets. The team throw their jackets into the crowd before climbing into the ring and running to opposite corners of the ring. Hughes and Cole climb to the second rope and stand staring out at the crowd with their arms folded, before jumping down and preparing for battle as the music fades out.
“Going out in Style” by the Dropkick Murphys hits the sound system and there is a cheer as the arena is basked in a green glow. After a few seconds Tom Flynn & Sean O’Grady step out onto the top of the entrance ramp and raise their arms in the air to acknowledge the crowd! Flynn cracks his knuckles at the top of the entrance ramp, before marching down to the ring, whilst O’Grady slaps hands with fans at ringside. Both men jump into the ring and get ready for the big match to get started!
The bell rings for the opening match of the night, as Scott Cole and Tom Flynn prepare to get the action started for their respective teams. The fans are firmly behind the Shamrocks in this opening match, and the match gets started off well with Flynn getting the upper hand over Cole with some big right hands to start the match. Flynn backs Cole into the corner of the ring, before dropping him with a double leg takedown. Flynn lands some mounted punches on his opponent, before Cole is able to fight his way up to a standing position.
Flynn tries to tie up with Cole, but Cole goes behind on Flynn with a waist lock, before taking him to the mat with a waist lock takedown. Cole tries to wear down his opponent with a rear chin lock, but Flynn manages to get out of the move with a reversal, before dropping his opponent with a back suplex. With Cole on the mat, Flynn makes the tag out to O’Grady. O’Grady leaps into the ring and lands some big kicks to Cole, before pulling him up to a standing position. O’Grady lands some stiff chops across the chest, before Cole fights back with some stiff chops of his own!
Cole grabs hold of O’Grady and sends him down to the mat with a belly to belly suplex, before rolling to his feet and taunting the fans! The fans boo loudly, as Cole follows up with a belly to back suplex, before making the tag out to Jake Hughes. Hughes leaps into the ring and stomps away on O’Grady, before pulling him up to his feet! Hughes lands a big suplex on O’Grady before quickly making the cover!

O’Grady manages to get a shoulder up off of the mat and this tag team match continues! Hughes pulls O’Grady up to his feet, and throws him hard into the ring ropes. Hughes looks for a back body drop, but O’Grady counters by rolling over the back of his opponent before turning and nailing a big dropkick on his opponent! Hughes staggers up to his feet and O’Grady follows up with a jumping knee to the face that floors his opponent! O’Grady leaps into the ropes and lands a springboard elbow drop onto Hughes, before making the cover!

Cole manages to leap into the ring just in time to stop the three count from happening! The referee shouts at Cole to get out of the ring, but O’Grady gets to his feet and continues the offense by stomping away on Jake Hughes. The Canadian Connection look in trouble as Scott Cole desperately calls for the tag! However O’Grady keeps the pressure on Hughes before making the tag out himself up Tom Flynn.
Flynn climbs into the ring and stomps away on Jake Hughes, but as he does boos ring out around the arena as Alessia Young slowly walks down the entrance ramp! Young shouts encouragement to Hughes and Cole despite the offense from the Shamrocks!
Tom Flynn pulls Hughes up to his feet, but as he does Young leaps up onto the ring apron to cause a distraction! Hughes takes advantage of the distraction to nail a low blow on Flynn, before rolling across and tagging out to Scott Cole! Cole leaps up onto the top rope, and leaps down to land an elbow drop onto the downed Tom Flynn! The fans boo loudly as Cole makes the cover!

Young grabs the leg of Sean O’Grady to stop him breaking the cover!
Three!
It’s all over and thanks to the difference maker of Alessia Young, it’s the Canadian Connection who pick up the victory!
The Shamrocks regroup on the outside of the ring as Young, Hughes and Cole celebrate the big tag team victory in the ring!

May the Best Man Win
The cameras head backstage to the locker room of Scott Washington and Yoshi Ono, where the two tag team partners are sitting at opposite sides of the locker room in silence staring at each other. Neither man looks prepared to take his eyes off of his partner turned opponent for the night, with manager Amy Page literally stuck in the middle of the two giant superstars.
Amy Page: “Look guys, the draw has not been kind to us at all, you should both be meeting each other in the main event at the Ultimate Victory PPV, but here we are.”
Neither Washington or Ono look up at Amy Page as she speaks, both keeping their eyes locked on each other.
Amy Page: “Now I think the best thing we can do to make the best of this situation is go out there, let the best man win in the knowledge that whoever wins this match out there tonight is definitely going to win the whole tournament and get a shot at the sVo Heavyweight Championship….”
Both men again give no reaction as they remain locked on each other.
Amy Page: “The best man wins tonight and then there will be no hard feelings, right guys?”
No answer from either Washington or Ono.
Amy Page: “RIGHT GUYS???”
Washington and Ono grunt a response each, whilst keeping their eyes locked on each other still. Just who will walk out the winner and will things ever be the same again?
Victory Cup Quarter Final Match
Anthony Moretti vs. Hiro Ryuu
‘Woke Up This Morning’ by A3 hits the sound system and the fans boo as the gold lights flash around the arena. After a few seconds, Anthony Moretti steps onto the entrance ramp with his hands in the air. Moretti slowly makes his way down the ramp towards the ring, ignoring the boos of the fans. Anthony Moretti cockily steps up onto the ring apron, before climbing through the ropes and into the ring. Acting like the superstar he thinks he is, Anthony Moretti raises both hands in the air, however receives nothing but boos from the fans.
‘Starman’ by David Bowie hits the sound system and the fans rise to their feet as the mysterious Hiro Ryuu slowly steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp. Ryuu drops to his knee and raises a finger in the air for a few seconds before slowly pointing his finger down towards the ring. Ryuu then rises to his feet and walks slowly to the ring and rolls under the bottom rope. Ryuu climbs to the second rope of the nearest turnbuckle and looks out at the crowd before backflipping to a standing position in the ring!
In a rematch from Against All Odds episode two, Ryuu and Moretti circle around each other in the middle of the ring as the referee calls for the bell to be rung and this quarter final match to get started! Moretti and Ryuu finally tie up, with the fans clearly behind the Japanese star in this encounter. Moretti grabs hold of Ryuu in a wrist lock, but Ryuu quickly counters into a side headlock on the former sVo Heavyweight Champion. Ryuu tightens the hold on Moretti for a few seconds, but the Blood Money member pushes Ryuu off and fires him into the ring ropes. Ryuu bounces back into the middle of the ring, and Moretti drops him to the mat with a shoulder block.
Ryuu quickly rolls back up to his feet and ducks under an attempted clothesline from Moretti, before bouncing into the ring ropes and returning with a back elbow strike. Moretti stumbles backwards from the back elbow, and Ryuu quickly follows up with a snap suplex in the middle of the ring. Moretti quickly gets to his feet from the snap suplex, but Ryuu punishes him with some stiff kicks to the legs, before finally dropping him to the mat with a spinning heel kick to the face.
Moretti looks unsteady on his feet as Ryuu pulls him back to a standing position and slams him face first into the nearest turnbuckle. Moretti stumbles backwards holding his face and Ryuu lands an impressive back suplex before making the cover.

The fans were all hoping that the referee was going to hit his hand on the mat for the three count, but Moretti manages to get a shoulder up off of the mat at the nick of time! Ryuu lands some big right hands to the face of Moretti as he pulls him up to his feet, before landing a knee to the midsection. Moretti doubles over in pain and Ryuu follows up with a European uppcut and then an inverted DDT! The fans continue to cheer Ryuu on as he dominates the match, before making another cover!

Once again Moretti manages to get a shoulder up off of the mat just when it looked like he would be eliminated from the tournament! Ryuu slaps the mat in frustration before rising up to his feet and wondering just what he will have to do to put away the Blood Money leader! The fans rise to their feet in unison as Ryuu decides, and signals for his finishing move!
Ryuu pulls Moretti up to his feet and looks for the ‘Tokyo Sunrise’ in the middle of the ring, however Moretti has the move scouted as he ducks under the arm of his opponent and then rakes his eyes!
The fans boo loudly as the referee admonishes Moretti for raking his opponent’s eyes, but Moretti doesn’t seem to care as he follows up with an atomic drop!
Moretti taunts the fans who continue to boo him loudly, before taking control of the match by ducking under an attempted spinning kick from Ryuu as he gets to his feet, before dropping him with a full nelson slam. Moretti continues the offense as he scoops Ryuu up to his feet and lands a massive gutbuster on his opponent.
With Ryuu down and hurting, Moretti senses blood as he signals to the crowd for his own finishing move! The fans boo loudly as Moretti stalks Hiro Ryuu as he slowly gets to his feet, before pouncing forward and landing ‘Hitman’ in the middle of the ring! The boos continue as Moretti rolls over his opponent and hooks the leg to make the cover.

It’s all over and Anthony Moretti is the first competitor to progress to the semi finals of the 2021 Victory Cup! Moretti rises up to his feet and raises his arm in the air in victory, with the fans knowing that the illegal rake of the eyes was the difference maker when Ryuu seems to on top! Moretti continues to celebrate the victory despite the boos, but who will the former Heavyweight Champion face in the next round?

Ready for the Challenge
The cameras head backstage to the interview area where Katie Smith is standing by with the current sVo Heavyweight Champion William Vorheez. The stoic Champion has the big gold belt strapped around his waist and towers over the pretty red head as she begins to fire some questions at him.
Katie Smith: “Thank you for joining me tonight. Now everyone saw on the last episode of Against All Odds that you accepted the challenge of Johnny All Star for the Ultimate Victory PPV, but the question everyone wants to know is are you cleared to compete having not fought since suffering rib injuries at the hands of Yoshi Ono at the Roll the Dice PPV?”
Vorheez places a hand on his side for a few seconds almost subconsciously, before moving it onto his title belt.
William Vorheez: “Being cleared is a subjective term. Are the doctors happy about me competing? Probably not. However I am not going to turn down a challenge so I will be at Ultimate Victory to defend the belt, and I will be walking out still Champion.”
Katie Smith: “Well the PPV could have easily seen you defending the belt against Gunner Lang had the ending of the Organised Chaos match gone down differently. What do you think Johnny All Star’s recent attitude change will impact things?”
William Vorheez: “I beat All Star nearly ten years ago with this belt on the line and I will beat him again at Ultimate Victory, I don’t care what attitude he brings….”
Katie Smith: “Well speaking of All Star, this is the third challenger in a row you have faced that has an entourage with them. Moretti had Blood Money, Ono had Page and Washington and All Star has Horizon. Do you regret your decision to go things alone when you have faced these numbers games to often?”
Vorheez puts some deep thought into the question, before slowly shaking his head.
William Vorheez: “Ever since being without Tripp I have gone it alone and I have done alright out of it. Let’s see what All Star and Horizon want to bring to the party.”
Vorheez unhooks the sVo Heavyweight Championship belt from his waist and holds it up to the camera, sending a message down the lens to the challenger as the scene fades out.
Victory Cup Quarter Final Match
Jacob Izaz vs. Dallas Jordan
The upbeat “Living In America” by James Brown hits the sound system and the fans in the arena boo as the arena is basked in a red, white and blue glow. After a few seconds the energetic Dallas Jordan steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp and throws up a salute to the crowd. ‘The Patriot’ quickly makes his way down the entrance ramp whilst slapping hands with fans at ringside, before climbing into the ring. Jordan stares out to the crowd for a few seconds before throwing up another salute to the crowd. Jordan retreats into his corner of the ring as the music begins to fade out.
‘Not for Radio’ by Nas hits the sound system and the fans cheer as onto the top of the entrance ramp swaggers the confident looking Jacob Izaz. Izaz holds his arms in the air and stands motionless for a few seconds as flash bulbs go off around the arena, before he slowly continues his swagger down the entrance ramp towards the ring. Izaz hops up onto the ring apron and again throws his arms up in the air to poses for the crowd, before climbing through the ropes and into the squared circle.
With Jacob Izaz winning in his debut match last week against Darren Starr, he looks in confident mood as he stares across the ring at Dallas Jordan! However Jordan, who has also been on a winning run of his own, gets the match started as he rushes forward and smashes Izaz in the face with a right hand before the match even officially gets started!
The fans boo loudly for the action of the ‘Patriot’, but Jordan doesn’t seem to care as he stomps away on Izaz and demands that the referee call for the bell to be rung and start the match officially! The referee complies, and this one is under way!
Izaz looks in trouble already as Jordan chokes him out with his boot for the full five count of the referee, before finally pulling him up to a standing position. Jordan tosses Izaz down to the mat with an impressive overhead belly to back suplex, before dropping down and making an early cocky cover on the newcomer.

Despite the match not getting started the way he wanted, Izaz is able to get a shoulder up off of the mat and keep himself in the contest!
Jordan scowls at the referee as he pulls Izaz up to his feet and throws him into the corner of the ring. Jordan works over Izaz with some big punches and kicks in the corner of the ring, before finally pulling him away from the ropes and taking him down to the mat with a double underhook suplex. Jordan takes the chance to play up to the fans, and is quickly booed by the Las Vegas crowd.
Jordan pulls Izaz back up to his feet and tries to put him away with a German suplex, but Izaz counters with some back elbow strikes to his opponent, before going behind and hitting a German suplex of his own! The fans cheer the big move from Izaz, as Jordan pops back up to his feet looking angry! Jordan looks for a clothesline on Izaz, but Izaz ducks under the arm of his opponent and scoop slams him to the mat, before bouncing off of the ring ropes and dropping an elbow into the chest of his opponent!
The fans continue to cheer Izaz on as Jordan stumbles up to his feet holding his chest in pain. Izaz continues the offense as he lands a head butt to his opponent, before taking him down with a snap suplex! With Jordan down, Izaz quickly makes the cover!

The fans were hoping it was all over right there, however Jordan manages to kick out just before the three can be counted!
Izaz rises up to his feet looking in firm control of the match up, but the fans begin to boo as down the entrance ramp slowly walks Travis Armstrong and Lance Abbott! Izaz watches Armstrong and Abbott as they walk around opposite sides of the ring, having helped Dallas Jordan win in his last two matches!
Armstrong leaps up onto the ring apron to distract the referee, but as Abbott tries to get involved in the match, Izaz knocks him off of the ring apron with a big right hand! However the numbers game catches up on Izaz as Dallas Jordan nails him with a low blow before the referee turns around! The fans continue to boo loudly as Jordan rolls Izaz up for the cover.

Thre… No!
The fans pop as Izaz gets his shoulders up off of the mat at the very last second! Jordan punches the mat in frustration as he gets to his feet and argues with the referee. Jordan pushes the referee down and calls Armstrong and Abbott into the ring!
The referee struggles up to his feet as Armstrong and Abbott take Izaz under an arm each and hold him up for Dallas Jordan to land the killer blow! Jordan runs at Izaz, but Izaz gets his leg up and kicks Jordan in the face! The fans pop as Izaz wriggles out of the grasp of Armstrong and Abbott, before turning and nailing Abbott with a big superkick! Armstrong tries to cut Izaz off with a clothesline, but Izaz ducks under the arm of his opponent and superkicks Armstrong!
The fans cheer loudly as Dallas Jordan slowly crawls up to his feet seeing his partners on the mat, as Izaz signals to the crowd before leaping forward and superkicking Jordan! The cheers continue as Izaz makes the cover, and the referee leaps forward and happily makes the count!

It’s all over, and in somewhat of an upset it is Jacob Izaz who progresses to the semi final of the Victory Cup! The fans continue to cheer the newcomer as he celebrates the big victory, whilst Jordan, Armstrong and Abbott re-group on the outside of the ring, shocked at not getting the job done!

Tag Team Match
Starr Brother vs. Von Drakes
‘Man in the Box’ by the Alice In Chains hits and there is a small cheer from the crowd as the team of Darren Starr & Simon Starr walk out onto the top of the entrance ramp! Both Starr brothers signal to both sides of the crowd before quickly making their way down the entrance ramp and diving head first into the ring.
There are boos in the arena as ‘JVD’ flashes up on the giant screen and the arena is basked in a pink glow. The pink glow is slowly changed to a dark red glow as the letters ‘JVD’ slowly fade to the words ‘Blood Money’ on the giant screen as “All My Life” by Foo Fighters blares out of the sound system. After a few seconds, James Von Drake walks out from behind the curtain and onto the top of the ramp, with his wife Lucy Von Drake as always by his side. JVD signals to the crowd before walking down to the ring and sliding in. JVD holds his arms in the air in the middle of the ring as Lucy Von Drake stands outside the ring clapping on her husband.
With Simon Starr and JVD set to start things off for their teams, the referee calls for the bell to be rung and the action to officially get started! Starr and JVD tie up in the middle of the ring, with JVD chain wrestling Simon Starr down to the mat and locking him in a wrist lock. Simon Starr fights out of the hold with some back elbows to JVD, before rising up to a standing position. JVD tries to tie up again with his opponent, but Simon Starr fights back with some big right hands to rock JVD. Simon Starr backs JVD into the ropes with the right hands, before Irish whipping him across the ring and taking him down to the mat with a back elbow strike.
JVD slowly rises up to his feet holding his face in pain, but Simon Starr quickly leaps onto his opponent and follows up with an impressive neckbreaker. Simon Starr rises up to his feet and taunts to the crowd, before making the tag out to his little brother Darren Starr.
Darren Starr leaps into the ring and lands some big stomps on the former Las Vegas Champion, before pulling him up to a standing position. Darren Starr lands some stiff knife edge chops that back JVD into the corner of the ring. JVD’s chest is chopped red raw by Darren Starr, but it seems to wake JVD up and stir him into action, as he fights back with a big right hand to knock away Darren Starr! Darren Starr runs at JVD, but the former Las Vegas Champion drills him with a sidewalk slam before rolling across and making the tag out to Lucy Von Drake!
Von Drake quickly climbs into the ring and lands an impressive standing dropkick on Darren Starr as he rises up to his feet. Darren Starr reaches out to try and make the tag out to his brother, but Lucy Von Drake drags him by the leg back into the corner of the ring, before dropping an elbow across the back of his neck.
Darren Starr holds his neck in pain as he gets to his feet, but Lucy Von Drake is there with a side Russian legsweep! With Darren Starr down on the mat, Lucy Von Drake quickly locks in a Boston crab submission hold! Darren Starr shouts out in pain, but Simon Starr quickly jumps into the ring to break the submission before he can tap out! The referee forces Simon Starr back out of the ring, but with the referees back turned, the Von Drake’s both leap into the ring and nail a double DDT on Darren Starr! The fans boo loudly, as the referee finally turns around to see Lucy Von Drake make the cover!

Darren Starr kicks out at the very last second! The fans cheer the kickout, as the Von Drake’s both argue with the referee that it should have been a three count! Darren Starr slowly rises up to his feet, and as he does he bounces off of the ring ropes! Darren Starr aims an attempted clothesline at Lucy Von Drake, but Lucy Von Drake ducks under the arm of her opponent, before bouncing into the ropes and then meeting Darren Starr in the middle of the ring! Both competitors have the same idea and nail each other with clotheslines, causing them to both be wiped out in the middle of the ring!
The fans cheer the Starr Brothers on as Darren Starr and Lucy Von Drake both crawl across to their own corners, before tagging in their partners!
JVD and Simon Starr leap into the ring and begin to trade big right hands! Simon Starr gets the better of the exchange, before taking JVD down with a big suplex! The fans cheer Starr on, as he pulls JVD up to his feet and positions him for a double arm DDT! However JVD uses his experience to spin out of the grasp of his opponent, before drilling him with a ‘Dollar Drop’ in the middle of the ring! The boos ring out around the arena as JVD drops over his opponent to make the cover!

It’s all over and the Von Drake’s pick up a big victory over the Starr Brothers! The boos continue as the Von Drake’s celebrate their big victory in the middle of the ring.

The cameras head backstage where JD James is standing by with Athena in the corridor area. Athena looks uncomfortable just to be seen talking to JD as people walk past.
JD James: “Athena, I’m not sure what is going on with you and Moretti, but it’s time to kick him to the curb. Get back involved with Horizon, we could really do with your help making sure that Heavyweight Championship comes our way.”
Athena: “Trust me JD, I wish I could. I can’t though, bad things will happen if I do…”
James looks frustrated.
JD James: “I don’t get it Athena, how does Moretti have this hold over you? Tell me and I can help!”
Athena looks like she is ready to confide, but before she can Anthony Moretti turns the corridor and walks straight up to the pair.
Anthony Moretti: “Wow Athena, what have I told you about associating with degenerates when you are rolling with Blood Money?”
Athena looks down at her feet as Moretti smirks at JD.
Anthony Moretti: “Beat it JD, before I break the other leg.”
James stares angrily at Moretti, before turning to Athena.
JD James: “Just say the word Athena, the rest of the Horizon boys will be down here in two second flat.”
Moretti and JD James stare at Athena as she seems to consider it, before slowly shaking her head.
Athena: “Just go JD….”
JD James angrily shakes his head, before slowly walking away from a smirking Anthony Moretti and a dejected Athena.
Victory Cup Quarter Final Match
Yoshi Ono vs. Scott Washington
The lights in the arena dim and the mood changes as ‘GTA’ by Meek Mill hits the sound system. As the base reverberates around the arena, the massive figure of Yoshi Ono slowly steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp and looks out at the arena. The crowd loudly boo the sight of Ono, but the Japanese star ignores the crowd and performs a sumo ritual dance at the top of the entrance ramp. Ono then slowly walks down to the ring at his own pace, before slowly climbing into the ring and staring out at the crowd from the corner of the ring with a snarl on his face as the lights slowly come back up.
The fans are on their feet as ‘California Vacation’ by The Game hits the sound system and the lights in the arena dim. Golden sparks rain down from the top of the giant screen onto the entrance ramp as Scott Washington step through them and holds his arms in the air. The huge ‘O-Town Outlaw’ taunts to the crowd who boo loudly as he walks down the entrance ramp with his eyes focused on the ring. Scott Washington jumps up onto the ring apron before climbing into the ring and warming up in the corner of the ring for his upcoming battle.
With the two team mates in the ring and staring straight at each other, the referee calls for the bell to be rung and this one to get started! The crowd don’t know who to cheer in this one, as Washington and Ono slowly circle around each other before trying up. Both men try and use their power to push each other backwards, however both men seem to be at a stalemate in the middle of the ring! Eventually Washington cuts Ono off with a knee to the midsection before laying into him with some stiff chops across the chest. This seems to anger Ono, who fights back with a big head butt!
Washington staggers away after the head butt, but Ono grabs hold of him and throws him into the ring ropes. Washington bounces back into the middle of the ring and Ono follows up with a belly to belly suplex in the middle of the ring! Washington looks in pain as Ono quickly makes the cover.

Washington gets a shoulder up off of the mat and manages to keep himself in the match. Ono pulls Washington up to his feet and lands another head butt, before throwing him into the corner of the ring. Ono runs and lands a big splash on Washington in the corner of the ring, which causes Washington to slump down into a seated position! Ono waddles away, before running and looking for a running knee to Washington, but Washington sees the move coming and rolls out of the ring under the bottom rope to put some distance between himself and his opponent!
Ono challenges Washington to get back into the ring, but Washington stumbles around the outside of the ring to try and recover, before stepping back up onto the ring apron. Ono looks for a cheap shot to try and knock Washington off of the ring apron, but Washington catches him with a knee to the midsection before climbing back into the ring. Ono stumbles away holding his side, and Washington follows up with a kicking combo! Washington bounces back off of the ring ropes and lands a high knee to Ono, before making the cover!

Ono kicks out, and this one continues! Washington looks quickly to transition to ‘the Conviction’ submission hold, but Ono sees the move coming and punches away on Washington to stop him from locking the move on!
Ono stumbles up to his feet and lands some big right hands to Washington, before knocking him down with a savate kick. Ono signals for his finishing move, but the fans boo loudly at the super heavyweight! Ono begins to pull Washington to his feet, but as he does Washington nails a low blow on his opponent out of the view of the referee! The fans boo Washington, who follows up with a ‘Payday’ to floor Ono, before dropping on him to make the cover!

It’s all over and in the battle of the two tag team partners, it is Scott Washington who picks up the victory! Washington rises up to his feet and has his arm raised in the air in victory by the referee. Washington celebrates the victory despite the boos from the crowd, but as Yoshi Ono begins to get to his feet he doesn’t look at all happy with his tag team partner!
Washington wisely climbs out of the ring and makes his way backstage with a smile on his face, as Ono shouts at his partner to get back into the ring!

Victory Cup Quarter Final Match
Gunner Lang vs. CJ Dreamer
The familiar riff of AC/DC’s Thunderstruck fills the arena. As the pyro goes off on the entranceway Gunner Lang explodes onto the entrance ramp shooting off his own pyro from a gun while the sVo Tron shows Gunner and a band playing his entrance music. The fans are on their feet cheering and shout ‘Gunner’ along with the song. Gunner drops the pyro gun and runs down to the ring slapping hands with the fans and giving devil horns. He slides into the ring under the bottom rope and proceeds to take off his shirt and bandanna throwing them into the crowd.
‘Break Stuff’ by the Limp Bizkit blasts over the sound system and there is a pop from the crowd as CJ Dreamer slowly walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp and stares out at the fans packed into the Goodfellas Casino Arena. Dreamer smirks at his hometown fans as he stops for a few seconds to signal to them, before briskly walking down the entrance ramp and rolling into the ring. Dreamer quickly rolls to his feet and skips in a circle around the ring whilst shadow boxing. Dreamer slowly returns to his corner of the ring as the music fades out and is replaced with the sound of just the cheers from the fans.
In the main event of the night the fans are pumped up as hometown hero CJ Dreamer stares across the ring at the Las Vegas Champion Gunner Lang! The referee calls for the bell to be rung, and Lang and Dreamer get the match started by trading right hands in the middle of the ring. Lang gets the upper hand over his opponent, before Dreamer cuts him off with a knee to the midsection before throwing the Las Vegas Champion into the ring ropes. Lang bounces back into the middle of the ring, and Dreamer takes him down to the mat with a side headlock takedown. Dreamer lands some mounted punches, before Lang is able to roll back to a standing position.
Dreamer looks for a face buster, but Gunner Lang counters before scoop slamming Dreamer to the mat. With his opponent down, Lang bounces off of the ring ropes before dropping a knee across his opponent. Gunner Lang quickly seizes the chance to make the cover on his opponent.

Dreamer gets a shoulder up off of the mat and stops Lang from progressing to the semi finals! Lang pulls Dreamer up to his feet and sends him into the ring ropes again, but this time Dreamer bounces back and goes behind on Lang, before drilling the Las Vegas Champion with a half nelson suplex! The move gets the crowd off of their feet, with Dreamer this time being the one to make the cover!

Lang gets a shoulder up off of the mat and this one continues! Dreamer keeps the momentum going as he pulls Lang to his feet and follows up with a double arm drag, before landing a swinging neckbreaker on the Champion! Dreamer looks in firm control of the match and looks to be in prime position to move to the semi finals, as he signals for his finisher!
Dreamer scoops Lang up and looks for the ‘Sweet Dreams’, but Lang desperately fights his way out of the grasp of Dreamer before turning the tables with a short arm clothesline! Dreamer pops straight back up to his feet, but Lang is there again with an elevated gut buster! Dreamer looks in pain as Gunner Lang lands a double axe handle smash, before finishing for his finishing move! Lang pulls Dreamer to his feet and sends him into the corner of the ring, before hitting a ‘Boomer-lang’ followed up with a ‘Gunner-Struck’!
The crowd pop for the combo from the Las Vegas Champion, as he drops down onto CJ Dreamer and hooks his leg for the cover!

Three!
It’s all over, and Gunner Lang joins Moretti, Izaz and Washington in the semi final’s! Lang rises up to his feet and is presented with his sVo Las Vegas Championship belt. Lang holds the belt in the air with one hand, as the referee holds his other arm in the air in victory!
