(Shining Spirit)
LIVE from the Samurai Summit Arena, Tokyo, Japan
[Cut to a sweeping live drone shot of the sold-out arena. Japanese flags wave in the crowd. Pyro explodes on the entrance ramp in red, white, and gold.]
Hiro Tanaka (excited):
“Tokyo is rocking tonight! For the first time ever—Rising Sun Pro Wrestling goes live on pay-per-view! Welcome to KAGAYAKU TAMASHII!! I’m Hiro Tanaka—alongside my broadcast partner Alex Mercer—and Alex, this isn’t just a show. This is the night RSPW stamps its legacy into the history books!”
Alex Mercer (fired up):
“From the ancient warrior spirit to the cutting edge of combat sports—RSPW is putting it all on display! The titles, the rivalries, the vengeance—it all comes to a head tonight!”
Hiro Tanaka:
“We’ve got a full card packed with drama and violence—from the women’s six-person war between Crimson Lotus and the legendary Misaki’s squad—to a battle of super heavyweights between Japan’s own Yoshi Ono and the American beast Bronson Johnson!”
Alex Mercer:
“Not to mention a blood feud boiling over between Kazuki and Takeshi, a personal grudge match for pride, and the Junior Heavyweight Championship on the line as Kaneda faces his most dangerous challenger yet in Hiro Ryuu!”
Hiro Tanaka:
“And in our main event, the face of RSPW—Ryujiro—defends the Heavyweight Championship against the ruthless ‘Lone Star’ Colt Thompson. After the ambush, after the parking lot attack, after weeks of tension… it all ends tonight.”
Alex Mercer:
“Or begins again.”
[Camera cuts to ringside, where the crowd chants “R-S-P-W! R-S-P-W!” in unison.]
Hiro Tanaka:
“This is the night where legends are made and spirits shine brightest. THIS is KAGAYAKU TAMASHII! Let the battles begin!”
Single Match
Yoshi Ono vs. Bronson Johnson
Backstage
The camera cuts from the roaring arena — Yoshi Ono still raising his fists to the crowd after defeating Bronson Johnson — to the bustling parking bay at the rear of the Samurai Summit Arena.
[CAMERA OPENS – LOADING DOCK – LIVE]
A sleek black SUV rolls to a stop under the glow of overhead lights. The driver’s side door opens — and out steps Ryujiro, dressed in a dark designer jacket over his signature ring gear, the RSPW Heavyweight Championship slung proudly over his shoulder. The Tokyo crowd, watching via the big screen, erupts in cheers.
Before he can take more than a few steps…
REI YOSHIDA (off-screen):
“Ryujiro-san! Ryujiro! Just a moment—please!”
Rei Yoshida, microphone in hand, jogs up to the champion. She’s calm but clearly buzzing with energy.
REI:
“Thank you, Ryujiro. I know you’ve just arrived, but the world is watching. Tonight, you defend the RSPW Heavyweight Championship in the main event against Colt Thompson — a man who’s made this deeply personal. After the attack in the parking lot, the sneak assaults… what’s your mindset heading into this match?”
Ryujiro adjusts the title on his shoulder. His expression is calm, controlled — but behind his eyes is steel.
RYUJIRO:
“Colt Thompson calls me a broken man.”
He pauses. Looks into the camera now, voice low and unwavering.
RYUJIRO:
“Let him keep saying it. Let him believe it. Because I will show the world that even a broken sword… can still cut deep.”
The crowd roars again from inside the arena.
RYUJIRO (continues):
“He came to Japan looking to end a legend. But tonight… he steps into the ring with a warrior who doesn’t know how to quit. I’ve carried this title with pride, with honor, with everything this country has taught me. And I will fight — not just for this championship… but for every drop of blood he spilled trying to take it away.”
He looks back at Rei, nods respectfully.
RYUJIRO:
“Tonight, the Lone Star falls.”
He walks off toward the locker room, leaving Rei standing in stunned silence as the crowd chants “RYU-JI-RO! RYU-JI-RO!” in the background.
[CAMERA FADES OUT as we return to ringside.]
Six Man Tag Team Match
Crimson Lotus vs. Mei Nakamura, Emi Sato & Misaki
Backstage
The crowd is still buzzing after the thrilling six-person tag match, where Mei Nakamura, Emi Sato, and the legendary Misaki overcame Crimson Lotus in a hard-fought victory. We cut away from their celebration to the back of the arena.
[CAMERA OPENS – PARKING GARAGE – LIVE]
A black pickup truck screeches to a halt near the backstage entrance. The door swings open and out steps ‘The Lone Star’ Colt Thompson. Dressed in a long black duster, cowboy hat low over his eyes, he throws his duffel bag over one shoulder. The Tokyo crowd boos heavily as soon as they see him on the screen.
Before he can take more than two steps toward the entrance—
REI YOSHIDA (off-screen):
“Colt! Colt Thompson, please—can we get a word before tonight’s main event?”
Rei Yoshida quickly approaches, microphone in hand, hopeful for even a brief comment. Colt stops for just a moment—eyes cold, chewing the inside of his cheek—before glaring at her with disdain.
COLT THOMPSON:
“You’ll get your words when I make him bleed again.”
He brushes past Rei without another look, shouldering open the backstage door and disappearing into the arena. The camera lingers on Rei for a beat—clearly unnerved—before cutting back to the ring area.
HIRO TANAKA (from commentary):
“Cold. Calculated. Dangerous. That’s not just a man walking into a title match—that’s a man walking into a hunt.”
ALEX MERCER:
“And if Ryujiro isn’t ready for the storm Colt Thompson’s bringing… we could be looking at a new RSPW Heavyweight Champion by the end of the night.”
[CAMERA RETURNS TO RINGSIDE AS THE NIGHT ROLLS ON.]
Single Match
Takeshi Kobayashi vs. Kazuki Nakamura
Backstage
We cut backstage to the familiar RSPW interview set, the gold-and-red logo of Kagayaku Tamashii glowing behind the backdrop. The crowd roars as Rei Yoshida appears on screen, standing beside a focused and battle-ready Hiro Ryuu, dressed in his ring gear with white tape wrapped tightly around his ribs — still recovering from weeks of punishment.
REI YOSHIDA:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m joined now by the man who has fought through injury, adversity, and weeks of mind games… and tonight, he has his chance to make history. Hiro Ryuu — you challenge Katsuhiro Kaneda for the Junior Heavyweight Championship later tonight. How are you feeling heading into the biggest match of your career?”
Ryuu takes a breath. The crowd cheers from the arena in anticipation. His expression is serious but calm — the fire in his eyes unmistakable.
HIRO RYUU:
“Rei, this… this is everything. Since I came to RSPW, I’ve fought with heart. I’ve fought with honor. And for the last year, I’ve watched Katsuhiro Kaneda twist what this division means. He ducks fights. He hides behind others. But tonight… there’s nowhere left to run.”
He taps the tape over his ribs.
HIRO RYUU (cont’d):
“He tried to break me. Week after week. But I’m still standing. Because pain fades. Scars heal. But a dream? A dream like this — of winning the Junior Heavyweight Championship — that never dies.”
The crowd pops loudly.
HIRO RYUU (firmly):
“Kaneda, I’m not just fighting for myself tonight. I’m fighting for every single person who believes in respect… in courage… in what this sport is supposed to be. I’m walking out there to take your title — and I will not be denied.”
Rei nods solemnly, giving Ryuu the stage. He turns toward the camera, fire in his tone now.
HIRO RYUU (staring down the lens):
“Tonight… the Ryuu rises. And I bring your reign crashing down.”
Ryuu walks off frame, the crowd in the arena roaring in approval as the camera lingers on his determined stride.
REI YOSHIDA:
“Hiro Ryuu is ready. And if Kaneda thought this was going to be another easy title defense — he may be in for a rude awakening. Don’t go anywhere — the Junior Heavyweight Championship match is coming up later tonight!”
[CAMERA FADES TO BLACK.]
Single Match
Haruki Hayashi vs. Daiki Yutaka
Backstage
The camera cuts to a dimly lit locker room backstage. Red lighting casts long shadows over the walls as the door slams shut behind the camera crew. Sitting in the center of the room, with her face twisted in frustration, is Jupiter James. Beside her, Akari Tanaka paces like a caged animal, fists clenched. Against the back wall, arms folded and eyes like daggers, stands “The Black Dahlia” Reina Kuroi, silent but visibly seething.
The energy in the room is venomous. Tension crackles in the air.
JUPITER JAMES
(voice low, bitter)
“You think this is over? You think they won something tonight?”
She stands, her usually composed demeanor slipping into fury.
JUPITER JAMES
“Misaki. Mei. Emi. You might’ve stolen a moment… but moments fade. We’re Crimson Lotus. We don’t vanish. We bloom in the dark.”
AKARI TANAKA
(gritting her teeth)
“They got lucky. Misaki didn’t beat me. Mei didn’t beat anyone. That wasn’t dominance… that was desperation. And next time, they won’t walk out. Not under their own power.”
REINA KUROI
(quietly, coldly)
“They lit the fire. We’ll burn the whole division down.”
The camera pans in on Reina’s face — dead calm, unreadable. Then cuts to Jupiter, whose eyes burn with renewed resolve.
JUPITER JAMES
“This… this loss? It’s not the end. It’s our beginning. You want to cheer for your little heroes, RSPW? Clap for Misaki and her fairy tale return to wrestling? Go ahead. But when we take back control, when we strike again… there’ll be no mercy. No more smiles. No more saviors.”
Jupiter turns to the camera, snarling.
JUPITER JAMES (cont’d)
“Crimson Lotus doesn’t wilt. We strike back. And every single woman in that locker room better remember that. Because we’re not just coming for revenge…”
AKARI TANAKA
(stepping forward)
“…we’re coming for everything.”
Reina finally smirks — a twisted, knowing expression — as the camera lingers on the trio. The room is quiet, but the threat hangs in the air like smoke.
[FADE OUT]
RSPW Junior Heavyweight Championship Match
Katsuhiro Kaneda (c) vs. Hiro Ryuu
Ringside
The crowd in Tokyo erupts into a wave of boos as KATSUHIRO KANEDA stands tall in the center of the ring, clutching the RSPW Junior Heavyweight Championship to his chest. Sweat drips down his brow, but the smug grin on his face says it all. He raises the title overhead as streamers fly and Hiro Ryuu is left recovering in the corner, disappointed but defiant. Kaneda snatches a mic and yells over the noise:
KANEDA
“Another challenger. Another failure. I told you all—no one touches the Ace of the Junior Division!”
He holds up the belt once more, basking in his own glory as the camera slowly fades out…
Backstage
The scene shifts suddenly to a quieter but momentous moment. Inside the modern office of RSPW COO Hiroshi Fujimoto, the camera captures a major development. Sitting across from the executive is a young man with sharp features, a confident smile, and an unmistakable aura — the hottest free agent in Japanese wrestling: Sho Imai Jr. Wearing a stylish track jacket and his signature headband, Sho signs a contract placed in front of him.
As he places the pen down, Fujimoto shakes his hand with a proud nod.
FUJIMOTO
“Welcome to RSPW, Sho. The fans have been waiting. And frankly… so have we.”
SHO IMAI JR.
(grinning, respectful)
“Thank you, Fujimoto-san. It’s an honor. RSPW is where the best come to prove themselves, and that’s exactly what I’m here to do.”
Sho stands, now addressing the camera directly as his expression sharpens with purpose. His energy is palpable.
SHO IMAI JR.
“To the RSPW fans — I promise you everything I’ve got. I’m not here to talk big… I’m here to show the world that fighting spirit still matters. That speed, heart, and honor can carry you all the way.”
He pauses for a beat, his tone turning more serious.
SHO IMAI JR.
“And Katsuhiro Kaneda… I saw your match tonight. Impressive, sure. But I didn’t come here to sit back and watch. I came to climb fast. And I came for that Junior Heavyweight Championship.”
The crowd can be heard cheering in the arena as Sho’s statement echoes backstage.
SHO IMAI JR. (cont’d)
“So get ready, Kaneda. The division’s about to pick up speed — and I don’t plan on slowing down for anyone.”
Sho smirks, nods respectfully to Fujimoto, and walks out of frame as the camera lingers on the signed RSPW contract resting on the desk.
[FADE OUT]
RSPW Heavyweight Championship Match
Ryujiro (c) vs. Colt Thompson
Ringside
The Tokyo crowd is thunderous, rising to their feet in waves as the referee raises Ryujiro’s arm high in the air. The RSPW Heavyweight Champion stands tall in the center of the ring, drenched in sweat but beaming with pride, the championship glinting under the arena lights.
Colt Thompson lies on the mat nearby, nursing his ribs, his jaw tight with frustration. Slowly, the Lone Star rises to one knee, then to his feet, his eyes locked with the champion. Ryujiro extends a hand — a gesture of respect after a brutal war between two of the best.
The crowd watches in suspense…
Colt stares at the hand for a long moment… then shakes his head in disgust and storms past Ryujiro, exiting the ring without a word. The boos rain down as Colt walks up the ramp, refusing to look back.
Ryujiro watches him go with a faint nod — disappointed, but not surprised. He then turns back to the fans, lifts the RSPW Heavyweight Title high overhead…
🎉BOOM!
Suddenly, a cascade of colored streamers rains down from every side of the arena. Red and white confetti fills the air as the crowd chants:
“RYU-JI-RO! RYU-JI-RO! RYU-JI-RO!”
A young attendant enters the ring and hands him the Japanese flag. Ryujiro unfurls it slowly, draping it across his back as he kneels and presses his forehead to the mat — a tribute to the fans, the country, and the fighting spirit of puroresu.
As he rises once more and raises the flag and title high into the sky, the cameras pan across the electric Tokyo crowd — standing, applauding, chanting the name of their champion.
Alex Mercer (commentary):
“Tonight, tradition stood tall. Tonight, the soul of Japanese wrestling was on full display!”
Hiro Tanaka (commentary):
“Ryujiro is more than a champion — he is the heart of RSPW. What a night, what a moment!”
The show fades to black on the image of Ryujiro standing in the center of the ring — bathed in lights, wrapped in the Japanese flag, title clutched to his chest — as the first-ever RSPW PPV comes to a powerful, emotional close.
