The Pre show

The chill of mid-January hasn’t stopped the fire burning inside the Samurai Summit Arena & Casino. Following the fallout of Carnage 36, the fans are back and the energy is even more intense as the hierarchies of RSPW begin to fracture.

(The camera opens on Rei Yoshida standing near the entrance ramp. Behind her, the “Carnage” neon signage flickers, and the crowd is audible, chanting for their favorites as they fill the seats.)

Rei Yoshida: “Welcome back to Tokyo! I’m Rei Yoshida, and if you thought the start of the year was explosive, tonight’s Carnage 37 is set to be a total meltdown. We saw champions fall in non-title matches just weeks ago, and tonight, the stakes are raised even higher as our two reigning Junior Heavyweight kings collide in a cross-divisional main event!”

Rei Yoshida: “Before we get to the main event, we have a massive heavyweight collision. Joining me now is a man who took the champion to the limit at Carnage 36… Daiki Yutaka!”

(Daiki Yutaka walks into the frame, looking massive and imposing in his warm-up gear.)

Rei: “Daiki, you had a 4-star classic with Ryujiro last time out, but you came up just short. Tonight, you face the mysterious Jupiter James. How do you reset after such a physical battle?”

Daiki Yutaka: “Rei, Ryujiro knows I was inches away. But tonight isn’t about the past. Jupiter James is an enigma, but she has never felt power like mine. Tonight, I’m not just winning; I’m sending a message to the entire locker room that I am still the most dangerous man in this building.”

Rei Yoshida: “The card tonight is stacked with hungry talent looking to climb the rankings. Here is what we have in store:”

Match TypeCompetitors
Single MatchKazuki Nakamura vs. Hiroshi Takagi
Single MatchMisaka vs. Emi Sato
Single MatchMei Nakamura vs. Akari Tanaka
Single MatchReina Kuroi vs. Isamu Kurogami

Rei: “Keep a close eye on Reina Kuroi vs. Isamu Kurogami. Kuroi has been on a tear, and after Kurogami’s disappointing loss to Kobayashi at Carnage 36, he is a cornered animal tonight.”

Rei Yoshida: “And finally, the match that has the wrestling world talking. It is a Non-Title ‘Super-Fight.’ The International Junior Heavyweight Champion, Katsuhiro Kaneda, takes on the RSPW Junior Heavyweight Champion, Sho Imai Jr.

(The screen splits, showing Kaneda shadowboxing in his locker room and Sho Imai Jr. meditating.)

Rei: “Both men lost their non-title matches at the last event. Tonight, there are no excuses. Only one man can claim to be the premier Junior Heavyweight in Rising Sun Pro Wrestling. Will it be the technical precision of Kaneda or the high-flying spirit of Imai Jr.?”

Rei Yoshida: “The bell is about to ring! The fans are ready, the athletes are focused, and the carnage is inevitable. Let’s head to ringside!”

The Post show

The crowd is filing out into the neon-lit streets of Tokyo, but inside the Samurai Summit Arena & Casino, the air is thick with the scent of competition and the shock of a reshaped leaderboard.

(Rei Yoshida stands by the ring apron, gesturing toward the ring where the medical staff is still checking on several competitors. She looks energized but surprised by the night’s events.)

Rei Yoshida: “What a night of high-stakes drama! Carnage 37 didn’t just meet expectations; it shattered them. We saw tactical brilliance, a massive heavyweight upset, and two draws that have left rivalries more heated than ever. Let’s break down this incredible card.”

Rei Yoshida: “We have to start with the upset of the year. Jupiter James has done the unthinkable, pinning Daiki Yutaka in a physical 3-star battle. Yutaka was looking for redemption after his loss to the champion, but James proved she is more than just a mystery—he is a contender.”

The Mid-Card Results:

  • Kazuki Nakamura picked up a clinical win over Hiroshi Takagi in a solid 2.5-star opener.
  • Akari Tanaka showed veteran poise to overcome Mei Nakamura in another 2.5-star showcase.

Rei Yoshida: “Tonight, we saw two matches that simply could not be contained by a time limit. First, Misaka and Emi Sato traded everything they had for a 3.5-star draw that left the crowd on their feet. Neither woman would stay down, and this is clearly far from over.”

“But the story of the night might be Reina Kuroi vs. Isamu Kurogami. In a 4-star technical masterpiece, Kurogami looked to erase his past failures, but the ferocity of Kuroi held him to a stalemate. The mutual respect—or perhaps the mutual hatred—between these two has reached a boiling point.”

Rei Yoshida: “And finally, the ‘Super-Fight.’ Champion vs. Champion. Katsuhiro Kaneda and Sho Imai Jr. gave us a 3.5-star clinic in Junior Heavyweight excellence. Both men entered the ring coming off losses, but it was Kaneda who found the opening tonight, pinning Sho Imai Jr. in the center of the ring.”

(Katsuhiro Kaneda walks by the set, holding his International Junior Heavyweight title high. He looks exhausted but triumphant.)

Rei: “Katsuhiro! A massive win over the RSPW Junior Champion. Does this make you the undisputed best in the division?”

Katsuhiro Kaneda: “Rei, look at me. I’m still the International Champion for a reason. Tonight, I proved that my title is the one that sets the standard. Whoever wants a shot—whether it’s Hiro Ryuu or anyone else—line up. I’m ready.”

Rei Yoshida: “A statement win for Kaneda and a night of chaos for the rest of the roster. 2026 is becoming the most competitive year in RSPW history! I’m Rei Yoshida, thank you for joining us for Carnage 37!”
