The Pre show

Welcome to Tokyo! The energy is electric here at the Samurai Summit Arena & Casino as the sun sets on this second day of 2026. Fans are already flooding through the gates for what promises to be a historic night of Rising Sun Pro Wrestling.

RSPW Carnage 36: Pre-Show Special

Location: Samurai Summit Arena & Casino, Tokyo, Japan
Host: Rei Yoshida

(The camera opens on a wide shot of the glittering Tokyo skyline before panning down to the bustling plaza outside the arena. Rei Yoshida stands in front of a sea of fans in RSPW merchandise, holding a microphone with the RSPW logo.)

Rei Yoshida: “Good evening, Tokyo! I am Rei Yoshida, and welcome to the first massive event of 2026—RSPW Carnage 36! Behind me, thousands of fans are making their way into the Samurai Summit Arena. The atmosphere is tense, the stakes are high, and the matches tonight are designed to push every athlete to their absolute limit.”

The Junior Heavyweight Showdown

Rei Yoshida: “Tonight, we have two massive non-title bouts featuring our Junior Heavyweight champions. Joining me now is one half of that equation… the Junior Heavyweight Champion himself, Sho Imai Jr.!”

(Sho Imai Jr. walks into the frame, looking focused. The crowd cheers loudly.)

Rei: “Sho, tonight you face King Neptune in a non-title match. How does it feel to step into the ring with a rival on the first show of the year?”

Sho Imai Jr.: “Rei, 2026 is about proving that the size of the dog doesn’t matter, it’s the size of the fight. King Neptune is a myth in this ring, but tonight? I’m going to show him that speed and spirit outrun power every single time. And to King Neptune—don’t think because the belt isn’t on the line that I’m taking it easy.”

The Mid-Card Preview: Grudges and Glory

Rei Yoshida: “Strong words from our champion. But Sho isn’t the only one with a target on his back. Here is a look at our mid-card matches tonight:”

Match TypeCompetitors
Single MatchIsamu Kurogami vs. Takeshi Kobayashi
Non-Title SingleKatsuhiro Kaneda (Int. Jr. Champ) vs. Hiro Ryuu
Single MatchYoshi Ono vs. Haruki Hayashi

(Just then, Katsuhiro Kaneda walks past the set, adjusting his wrist tape. Rei stops him briefly.)

Rei: “Champion Kaneda! A quick word on Hiro Ryuu?”

Katsuhiro Kaneda: “Hiro Ryuu thinks he’s the future. Tonight, I remind him that I am the present. This International Junior Heavyweight title stays with me because I don’t overlook anyone. Ryuu gets a lesson in reality in about an hour.”

The Main Event: A Clash of Titans

Rei Yoshida: “And of course, the match everyone is talking about. A non-title main event between the man who carries this promotion on his back, our RSPW Heavyweight Champion Ryujiro, and the powerhouse Daiki Yutaka.”

(The camera cuts to a pre-taped segment of Ryujiro warming up in the back, then back to Rei.)

Rei: “This is more than just a match; it’s a statement. If Yutaka pins the champion tonight, he moves to the front of the line for a title shot. If Ryujiro wins, he cements his legacy as the undisputed King of Tokyo.”

Rei Yoshida: “The gates are closing, the lights are dimming, and the carnage is about to begin! Stay tuned as we head inside for the opening contest!”

The show

The Post show

The lights are still pulsing at the Samurai Summit Arena & Casino, but the ring is empty and covered in the sweat of one of the most unpredictable nights in RSPW history. Fans are filing out into the Tokyo night, buzzing about the shocking upsets and the clinical dominance of the champion.

RSPW Carnage 36: Post-Show Wrap-Up

Location: Ringside, Samurai Summit Arena
Host: Rei Yoshida

(Rei Yoshida stands at ringside, her hair slightly disheveled from the humid arena air. Behind her, crew members are already beginning to deconstruct the ring barriers.)

Rei Yoshida: “What a night! We began 2026 with a chaotic ‘Carnage’ that saw champions fall and legends rise. From a grueling opening contest to a main event that lived up to every bit of the hype, the landscape of Rising Sun Pro Wrestling has shifted tonight.”

The Champions Falter: A Night of Upsets

Rei Yoshida: “The biggest story tonight has to be the struggle of our champions in non-title action. While their belts remain around their waists, their pride certainly took a hit. Let’s look at the results.”

  • Takeshi Kobayashi ground out a victory over Isamu Kurogami in a gritty, albeit brief, opening encounter.
  • King Neptune silenced the arena by overpowering the Junior Heavyweight Champion, Sho Imai Jr., proving that he still has the power to topple the best in the division.
  • In the shock of the night, Hiro Ryuu defeated International Junior Heavyweight Champion Katsuhiro Kaneda in a 3.5-star thriller, surely putting himself first in line for a title opportunity.

(Rei is joined by a frustrated Katsuhiro Kaneda, who is clutching his ribs.)

Rei: “Katsuhiro, a devastating loss to Hiro Ryuu tonight. What happened out there?”

Katsuhiro Kaneda: “He caught me. That’s it. He caught me. But tell Hiro to enjoy the celebration tonight, because if he wants the gold, he’s going to have to do that again—and I don’t lose twice.”

The Match of the Night: Ono vs. Hayashi

Rei Yoshida: “If you want to talk about pure wrestling excellence, look no further than Yoshi Ono vs. Haruki Hayashi. These two went to war for nearly twenty minutes in a 4-star masterpiece. Ultimately, Hayashi’s resilience carried him to the win, marking him as the ‘one to watch’ for the upcoming season.”

Main Event Excellence: The Champion Reigns

Rei Yoshida: “Finally, our main event. Ryujiro vs. Daiki Yutaka. It was a clash of titans that pushed both men to the breaking point. In a stunning 4-star display of Japanese strong style, Ryujiro showed exactly why he wears the RSPW Heavyweight Championship, overcoming the sheer power of Yutaka to finish the night on top.”

Rei Yoshida: “The champions were tested, and while some stumbled, Ryujiro stands tall. We move forward into 2026 with more questions than answers! Thank you for joining us at the Samurai Summit Arena. I’m Rei Yoshida, goodnight from Tokyo!”
