RSPW Carnage 26
📺 Live on the Sanctioned Violence Network
📍 Samurai Summit Arena & Casino, Tokyo Japan
📆 16th May 2025
[Wide shot of the packed Samurai Summit Arena, the crowd buzzing with excitement, waving banners and flags. Fireworks explode above the entranceway. Dramatic theme music pulses through the speakers.]
Hiro Tanaka:
Konnichiwa, RSPW faithful! Welcome to RSPW Carnage 26, live from the electric Samurai Summit Arena & Casino in the heart of Tokyo! I’m Hiro Tanaka—joined as always by my broadcast partner, the ever-sharp Alex Mercer—and tonight, the Sanctioned Violence Network brings you a card packed with international intrigue, championship ambitions, and high-stakes tag team chaos!
Alex Mercer:
That’s right, Hiro! The world of Rising Sun Pro Wrestling keeps expanding, and the tremors from across the Pacific are being felt right here in Japan. With new arrivals from the Sanctioned Violence Organization shaking up the locker room—Jupiter James and Bronson Johnson—the locker room is on high alert, and the roster’s pride is on the line.
Hiro Tanaka:
And speaking of pride, tonight’s main event is a true collision of forces! The dominant RSPW Heavyweight Champion Ryujiro teams up with the sumo powerhouse Yoshi Ono to take on the ever-defiant Colt Thompson and the grizzled newcomer Bronson Johnson! Colt’s been gunning for Ryujiro for months, and tonight he gets the closest he’s been yet!
Alex Mercer:
But that’s not all—tonight also sees sibling synergy in action as Kazuki & Mei Nakamura join forces against Daiki Yutaka and the ever-volatile Akari Tanaka. And we’ll see the brash American upstart Jupiter James try to impose her will on the resilient hometown favorite Emi Sato.
Hiro Tanaka:
Plus—King Neptune and Haruki Hayashi renew their hard-hitting rivalry as they continue jockeying for position in the Junior Heavyweight scene. And while Katsuhiro Kaneda, the seemingly invincible dual Junior Champion, isn’t in action tonight, his shadow looms large over every match in that division.
Alex Mercer:
No doubt about it, Hiro. The road to supremacy in RSPW runs through Carnage, and the tension’s boiling over tonight! The bell’s about to ring—so buckle in, because RSPW Carnage 26 starts… right now!
[Cut to the roaring crowd as the first competitors make their way to the ring.]
Tag Team Match
Kazuki Nakamura & Mei Nakamura vs. Daiki Yutaka & Akari Tanaka
Backstage
[The camera cuts to the backstage interview zone, where the always-cheerful and stylishly dressed Rei Yoshidastands, microphone in hand, bowing slightly with her usual grace.]
Rei Yoshida:
“Minasan, konbanwa! I’m Rei Yoshida, and I’m here with a man who never has a shortage of opinions—please welcome ‘The Lone Star’ himself… Colt Thompson.”
[Colt Thompson steps into frame, chewing gum and adjusting his cowboy hat with a smug scowl. He wears a snakeskin jacket over his ring gear and keeps one hand resting on his belt buckle. He glares at Rei with obvious disinterest.]
Rei Yoshida (still politely smiling):
“Colt-san, you step into the main event tonight alongside Bronson Johnson to face Yoshi Ono and the RSPW Heavyweight Champion, Ryujiro. You’ve made your feelings clear before—but after everything that’s happened, do you still believe you deserve that title shot?”
[Colt snorts and shakes his head slowly, his Southern drawl thick and deliberate as he steps closer to the camera.]
Colt Thompson:
“Y’damn right I do. But this ain’t even about ‘deserve’ anymore, sweetheart. This place? RSPW? It used to be run by warriors. Legends. Men who fought with fire in their guts. But now?”
[He sneers, casting a glance down the hallway like he’s looking straight through the walls to Ryujiro’s locker room.]
Colt Thompson:
“Now it’s run by weaklings. Pretty boys in robes and sumo jokes huffin’ and puffin’ for cheers. It makes me sick.”
[Rei’s smile falters slightly at the disrespect, but she stays composed.]
Colt Thompson (leaning into the mic):
“I ain’t here to play respect-the-rules. I’m here to remind this place what real fightin’ pride looks like. Not honor, not tradition—Texas pride. And tonight, I don’t care if it’s Ryujiro, Yoshi Ono, or that old fossil Bronson Johnson gettin’ in my way—someone’s gettin’ hurt.”
[He flicks the brim of his hat and walks off, leaving Rei blinking as the camera lingers on her for a moment.]
Rei Yoshida (softly, to herself):
“Such a rude man… but very dangerous.”
[Fade back to ringside.]
Single Match
Jupiter James vs. Emi Sato
Ringside
[The bell rings as Jupiter James’ theme blares through the Samurai Summit Arena. The redheaded American smugly pulls her arm away from the referee, who tries to raise it. Across the ring, Emi Sato—Japan’s beloved “Osaka Orchid”—clutches her ribs, still recovering from a hard-fought and controversial loss. The fans shower the ring in loud boos.]
[Jupiter, clad in sleek red-and-black gear adorned with stars and stripes, grabs a mic from ringside and struts to the center of the ring with a sly grin. Her wild curls bounce with every confident step as she points out into the crowd.]
Jupiter James:
“You people should be on your feet right now, clapping your little hands raw. You just got to witness greatness—and her name is Jupiter James!”
[Boos thunder through the arena, but Jupiter drinks them in like applause.]
Jupiter James (mocking):
“Aww, is Tokyo upset their precious little flower just got stomped into the dirt? Emi Sato? Please.”
[She turns and looks down at Emi, who’s now sitting up in the corner, glaring back with pain and frustration.]
Jupiter James:
“You call yourself ‘The Osaka Orchid’? You’re more like a wilted houseplant. All flash, no fight. More interested in idol dances and glittery robes than actual wrestling. You’re a wannabe, Emi. A poser.”
[Gasps from the crowd—some fans are audibly chanting Emi’s name in support.]
Jupiter James (turning back to the crowd):
“I didn’t come all the way from America, from the Sanctioned Violence Organization, to play dress-up and bow politely. I came to elevate this sorry excuse of a women’s division with real talent. With American class. And whether it’s Emi, Mei, or any other cutesy name you throw at me—Jupiter James is going to rise above them all.”
[She tosses the mic down with a loud thud, steps over Emi dismissively, and poses arrogantly on the middle turnbuckle, soaking in the deafening boos.]
[The camera cuts to Emi in the corner, using the ropes to pull herself up, her eyes locked on Jupiter with fierce determination. The commentary team speculates that this is far from over.]
[Fade to commercial.]
Backstage
[The camera cuts to a backstage interview area where Rei Yoshida stands smiling next to the respected veteran, Hiro Ryuu. The crowd watching on the screen in the arena pops as the beloved fighter adjusts his gloves, calm and composed as always.]
Rei Yoshida:
“Hiro-san, tonight you’re not scheduled for a match, but the fans have been buzzing ever since your incredible performance last week. Many are wondering—what’s next for you?”
Hiro Ryuu (nodding respectfully):
“I’ve been in this sport for a long time, Rei-san. But I still have the same fire. I don’t care if it’s Junior Heavyweight or Heavyweight—I’ll fight anyone. I want to face the best this company has to offer. Champions. Contenders. Legends. I’m not—”
[Suddenly, the camera jerks as Katsuhiro Kaneda steps into frame, smug and uninvited. The RSPW Junior Heavyweight Champion and IPWA International Junior Heavyweight Champion is dressed in street gear, both title belts slung arrogantly over his shoulders.]
Kaneda (cutting him off):
“‘Face the best,’ huh? That’s funny coming from a man whose prime was two decades ago.”
[The crowd reacts audibly through the broadcast as Kaneda smirks, oozing disdain.]
Kaneda:
“You think just because the fans chant your name, you belong in the same breath as me? You couldn’t lace my boots, Ryuu. This isn’t some dojo throwback. This is the era of Kaneda. And you—you’re dead weight.”
[Ryuu steps forward, eyes narrowed.]
Hiro Ryuu (calm but firm):
“You’ve got a big mouth for someone who’s never fought me.”
Kaneda:
“And I don’t need to. You’re beneath me.”
[That’s the last straw. Ryuu lunges forward, shoving Kaneda hard. The two immediately explode into a furious brawl—punches flying as officials and security rush in to separate them. Kaneda tries to grab Ryuu by the collar, but Ryuu fires back with a stiff elbow that knocks one of Kaneda’s belts to the floor.]
[The fans in the arena roar as the camera struggles to keep up with the chaos.]
Rei Yoshida (off to the side, shocked):
“Security! Get in here!”
[Officials finally manage to pull them apart as Kaneda screams over their shoulders.]
Kaneda:
“You want a fight, old man?! You’ll get one! And I’ll end your story with a knee to your skull!”
[Ryuu tries to break free, yelling back in fury as security holds him down. The segment ends with the two rivals shouting at each other from across the hallway, tension at a boiling point.]
[Cut to black.]
Single Match
Haruki Hayashi vs. King Neptune
Ringside
[The bell rings, and the fans in Tokyo erupt into loud boos as Haruki Hayashi has his arm raised in victory. The smug, cunning technician wipes sweat from his brow and waves off the referee like he did all the work himself. Meanwhile, King Neptune is curled on the mat, clutching at his ribs—already taped before the match, clearly aggravated by the bout.]
Hiro Tanaka (on commentary):
“Hayashi steals another one tonight! You saw it, Mercer—he targeted Neptune’s ribs from the opening bell!”
Alex Mercer:
“He exploited a weakness, Hiro. That’s strategy. Love him or hate him, Haruki Hayashi knows how to win.”
[Back in the ring, Hayashi snatches a mic from the ringside announcer. The crowd continues to jeer, but he just smirks.]
Haruki Hayashi:
“Tokyo! This is your hero?”
[He points mockingly at the downed King Neptune, who is being tended to by a ringside official.]
Haruki Hayashi:
“Some ‘King’! The man walked into this ring already broken—and I just finished the job. You can’t blame me for taking the opportunity. That’s not cheating… that’s being smarter.”
[The crowd erupts into more boos, chants of “KA-O-RO! KA-O-RO!” ring out—mocking Hayashi with a nickname from his earlier career he’s tried to distance himself from.]
Haruki Hayashi (sneering):
“You people still don’t get it. You want honor? You want heroes? Go read manga. This is professional wrestling. And I’m the only one here who treats it like a real fight.”
[He crouches next to the struggling Neptune and whispers something inaudible in his ear—before slapping him across the back of the head and standing tall once more. More boos.]
Haruki Hayashi:
“Maybe next time, Neptune will think twice before stepping in the ring with someone on my level.”
[He tosses the mic down beside King Neptune and exits the ring to a chorus of boos. Neptune, still clutching his side, glares up at Hayashi through the pain.]
Alex Mercer:
“You might not like it, but Haruki Hayashi just made a statement. Ruthless. Calculated. And victorious.”
Hiro Tanaka:
“But at what cost? King Neptune gave everything he had, and Hayashi exploited an injury to steal this one. There’s no pride in that.”
[The camera lingers on King Neptune, who pushes away help and tries to stand on his own, defiant even in defeat.]
[Fade to black.]
Backstage
[Camera opens in the backstage interview area where Rei Yoshida, dressed in a traditional cherry blossom-patterned kimono jacket, stands with a microphone. The backdrop behind her features the RSPW Carnage and Sanctioned Violence Network logos. The fans in the arena watching on the tron begin to buzz as the imposing figure of the RSPW Heavyweight Champion Ryujiro steps into frame—title belt over his shoulder, eyes burning with intensity.]
Rei Yoshida:
“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time… the reigning RSPW Heavyweight Champion… Ryujiro!”
[Huge pop from the live crowd watching the segment on the screen. Ryujiro nods respectfully to Rei, but his face remains serious.]
Rei Yoshida:
“Ryujiro-san, after the chaotic ending to last week’s main event, many are wondering—what are your thoughts on ‘The Lone Star’ Colt Thompson and his constant interference in your matches?”
[Ryujiro takes a breath, adjusts the championship on his shoulder, and speaks with firm resolve—his words in Japanese, subtitles appearing below on screen for the international audience.]
Ryujiro:
「Colt Thompsonは名誉というものを理解していない。」
(“Colt Thompson doesn’t understand honor.”)
[The crowd erupts inside the arena.]
Ryujiro:
「彼は自分がこの国を変えると思っている。しかし、彼は日本のことなど何もわかっていない。」
(“He thinks he can change this country. But he knows nothing about Japan.”)
[Ryujiro steps closer to the camera, his voice sharp but calm—his presence commanding.]
Ryujiro:
「お前はこの国を語るな。語るのは俺だ。」
(“You don’t speak for this country. I do.”)
[The crowd watching live roars in approval—chants of “RYU-JI-RO! RYU-JI-RO!” begin to swell in the background.]
Ryujiro:
「もしColtがこのベルトを求めるなら、俺の誇りと覚悟を越えてみろ。」
(“If Colt wants this title, then he’ll have to go through my pride and my resolve.”)
[He nods respectfully toward Rei Yoshida and then walks off, leaving her watching him with admiration as the camera lingers on the championship glinting on his shoulder.]
Rei Yoshida (to camera, softly):
“…Strong words from a true champion.”
Backstage
[The scene opens inside the well-appointed office of RSPW COO Hiroshi Fujimoto. The decor is a tasteful blend of modern elegance and traditional Japanese elements—tatami flooring accents, a shoji screen partially visible behind him, and a framed black-and-white photo of a classic Puroresu bout on the wall. Hiroshi Fujimoto sits behind his desk, composed and dignified, wearing a sharp charcoal grey suit with a crimson pocket square. A small RSPW flag sits beside a Sanctioned Violence Network logo on the desk.]
[The camera zooms in as Fujimoto looks up with a calm smile and speaks directly to the RSPW faithful.]
Hiroshi Fujimoto:
“皆さん、こんばんは。”
(“Good evening, everyone.”)
[He folds his hands on the desk, his voice measured and heartfelt.]
Hiroshi Fujimoto:
“Since the very first bell rang inside the Samurai Summit Arena, Rising Sun Pro Wrestling has stood for more than just action inside the ring. We stand for spirit. For tradition. For the heart of Puroresu.”
[Cut briefly to footage of some of RSPW’s most intense and emotional moments—Ryujiro holding the Heavyweight Championship high, Kaneda’s dominant Junior Heavyweight reign, Yoshi Ono’s sumo-powered slams, and Kazuki & Mei Nakamura’s spirited battles.]
Hiroshi Fujimoto (voiceover):
“We’ve grown together—our wrestlers, our fans, our purpose. And now, it’s time for the next step.”
[Back to Fujimoto in the office. He straightens slightly, eyes locked on the camera with pride.]
Hiroshi Fujimoto:
“On July 25th, 2025, live on the Sanctioned Violence Network, Rising Sun Pro Wrestling will present its first-ever standalone pay-per-view event…”
[Dramatic pause. A gold and crimson graphic appears on screen with the logo: bold kanji glowing behind the English translation—]
🟨 輝く魂 – KAGAYAKU TAMASHII 🟥
SHINING SPIRIT
Friday, July 25th – LIVE ONLY ON THE SANCTIONED VIOLENCE NETWORK
Hiroshi Fujimoto (with conviction):
“This event will not be borrowed from another brand… it will be ours. RSPW’s Shining Spirit will illuminate the world stage—with honor, with strength, and with unforgettable battles.”
[He stands, offering a respectful bow to the camera.]
Hiroshi Fujimoto:
“Thank you for believing in us. We promise you… Kagayaku Tamashii will be a night to remember.”
[Fade out on the RSPW logo, pulsing to the beat of a taiko drum roll as the official theme for Kagayaku Tamashii begins to play faintly.]
Tag Team Match
Yoshi Ono & Ryujiro vs. Colt Thompson & Bronson Johnson
Ringside
[The bell rings. “The Lone Star” Colt Thompson is on his feet, a smug smirk across his face as he stands over the fallen body of Yoshi Ono, having just scored the pinfall. His partner, Bronson Johnson, nods in approval from the corner, arms folded, while the crowd in Tokyo roars with furious boos.]
Hiro Tanaka (commentary):
“Unbelievable! Colt Thompson just pinned Yoshi Ono—right in the center of the ring!”
Alex Mercer:
“That is a massive statement, Tanaka. Thompson’s just done what very few have ever done—he’s stopped the super heavyweight juggernaut cold.”
[Colt pulls off his black cowboy hat from the ring post and places it on his head slowly, eyes locked on the stage. The boos intensify as the camera swings around to show RSPW Heavyweight Champion Ryujiro standing at the top of the ramp. The belt is slung over his shoulder, but his eyes are steely and locked in.]
[Ryujiro doesn’t blink. He watches. Colt doesn’t flinch. He points to the title and mouths off mic: “You know it’s mine.”]
[The crowd tries to drown him in jeers. Colt sneers and gestures around at them with disdain.]
Colt Thompson (shouting):
“This place belongs to cowards now! But I’m gonna bring pride back… Texas style!”
[He throws up a middle finger in Ryujiro’s direction, then slowly backs up to the ropes, never taking his eyes off the champion. Ryujiro lifts the Heavyweight Championship slightly with one hand—silent, commanding, defiant.]
Hiro Tanaka:
“This man—Colt Thompson—has no honor… but he has momentum. And Ryujiro knows it.”
Alex Mercer:
“We could be looking at the next challenger. And if tonight is any indication—Ryujiro’s reign is under serious threat.”
[As Colt and Bronson exit the ring to a chorus of boos, Ryujiro remains unmoving atop the ramp. The final shot of the night lingers on the champion and the Texan outlaw locked in a silent war of stares… as the Sanctioned Violence Network logo fades in.]
[END SHOW.]
