Ready to give a Lesson
[The camera cuts backstage where Rei Yoshida stands with a microphone in hand, ready to interview Takeshi Kobayashi. The notorious heel, ‘The Rising Dragon,’ stands confidently, his intense demeanor unmistakable. His expression is cold, and he exudes arrogance as he prepares for his upcoming match against Daiki Yutuka.]
Rei Yoshida: (looking at Takeshi) Takeshi, tonight you’re set to face Daiki Yutuka in singles action, but there’s been a lot of talk recently about your ongoing issues with the Nakamura siblings, especially after your actions against Mei Nakamura. What’s your mindset going into tonight’s match?
Takeshi Kobayashi: (smirking, folding his arms) Rei, you’re asking me about Daiki Yutuka, but you’re really more interested in the Nakamura siblings, aren’t you? (chuckles) Let’s be honest—everyone’s talking about Mei and Kazuki. And why? Because they’re the talk of the town. They’re the fresh faces, the darlings of the crowd. But they’re nothing compared to me.
Rei Yoshida: (slightly taken aback) You’ve made your feelings about the Nakamuras pretty clear. But tonight, it’s Daiki Yutuka who stands in your way, not Mei or Kazuki. What kind of threat do you see him as?
Takeshi Kobayashi: (leaning forward, voice low and menacing) Yutuka? (pauses, then smirks again) He’s a kid playing in a grown man’s world. He doesn’t belong here. It’s cute, really, how people think someone like him can stand up to me. I’ll handle him the same way I’ve handled everything else in my career—by putting him down, one way or another.
[He sneers, eyes narrowing.]
Takeshi Kobayashi: (mockingly) But let’s not pretend this is about Yutuka. You want to know about Mei and Kazuki, right? You want to know when I’m going to finish what I started with them.
Rei Yoshida: (quickly) Well, after what happened between you and Mei—
Takeshi Kobayashi: (interrupting) Don’t worry, Rei. Mei and Kazuki’s time will come. I’ll make sure of it. I don’t care if it’s in a ring, in the locker room, or out on the street. They’re both in my way, and tonight, I make an example out of Yutuka.
[Takeshi smirks with a sense of satisfaction.]
Takeshi Kobayashi: (slightly taunting) So let’s talk about Daiki Yutuka, Rei. He’s gonna get a lesson tonight. A lesson that he won’t forget. But I’m sure you’ll ask about Mei again after I’m done with him.
[He pushes past Rei, heading off toward the ring.]
Rei Yoshida: (slightly flustered) Well… there you have it, folks. Takeshi Kobayashi is laser-focused on his match tonight, and despite the looming threat of the Nakamura siblings, he seems to be fully intent on getting past Daiki Yutuka.
[The camera cuts away as the backstage area goes quiet, but the tension lingers.]

Watching Brief
[The camera cuts backstage where Rei Yoshida stands in front of the locker room, ready for her next interview. She holds her microphone up to the masked fan-favorite, King Neptune, who is gearing up for his match against Hiroshi Takagi next. Neptune stands tall, his mask hiding his expression, but his posture exudes confidence and determination.]
Rei Yoshida: (smiling) King Neptune, you’ve been on quite the roll lately, and tonight you face Hiroshi Takagi in singles action. How are you feeling heading into this match, and how important is it for you in your quest for a Junior Heavyweight Championship match against Katsuhiro Kaneda?
King Neptune: (calm but determined) Rei, tonight’s match with Takagi is just another step. I’ve been working for this, I’ve been fighting for this—for the right to challenge Katsuhiro Kaneda, the so-called “King” of the Junior Heavyweight division. But let me tell you something, Rei… Kaneda might have the gold right now, but I have something he doesn’t have. I have the heart, the resilience, and the will to fight harder than anyone else in that division.
[King Neptune takes a deep breath, his hands clenched into fists.]
King Neptune: (gritting his teeth) Katsuhiro Kaneda, I will get my shot at that title. You can try to avoid me all you want, but you won’t be able to. Tonight is just another match, another victory on the road to what’s rightfully mine. Hiroshi Takagi is in my way right now, and I will show him—and the world—what it means to stand in the ring with King Neptune.
Rei Yoshida: (nodding) It’s clear you’re focused on your path, and Kaneda is definitely on your radar. But how important is tonight’s match to you? Can you afford any distractions in your quest for that title?
King Neptune: (smiling beneath the mask) I’ve learned a long time ago that there are always distractions in this business, but you don’t let them sway you. You stay focused, and you do what you have to do to move forward. Hiroshi Takagi may be tough, but I’m tougher.
[Suddenly, a figure enters the frame, stepping into the shot behind King Neptune. The camera reveals that it is none other than the newest RSPW signing, the grizzled veteran Isamu Kurogami. He stands with his arms crossed, his cold, calculating gaze focused on King Neptune.]
Isamu Kurogami: (in a deep, gruff voice) You talk about heart and resilience, Neptune… But I’ll be watching your match closely tonight.
[Neptune turns around, raising an eyebrow beneath his mask, sizing up Kurogami. Rei looks between them, surprised by Kurogami’s sudden appearance.]
King Neptune: (calmly) And what do you want, Kurogami?
Isamu Kurogami: (with a slight smirk) Nothing, for now. Just observing… You claim to have what it takes to go after Kaneda and his title. I’ll see if your actions match those words in the ring. I don’t like to talk much. I prefer to let actions speak louder.
Rei Yoshida: (slightly awkward) Well, there you have it, folks—Isamu Kurogami seems to be keeping a close eye on King Neptune’s match tonight.
King Neptune: (nodding to Kurogami) I don’t need to talk. I’ll show you, Kurogami. I’ll show everyone why I’m the one who will take down Kaneda.
[Kurogami nods once, turning and walking off as Neptune focuses back on Rei.]
King Neptune: (addressing Rei) I’ve got a match to win.
Rei Yoshida: (nodding) Good luck out there, King Neptune. It looks like the road to the Junior Heavyweight Championship is going to be a lot more interesting with Kurogami watching your every move.
[The camera pans as King Neptune heads off toward the ring, ready for his match against Hiroshi Takagi, while the air is thick with anticipation for what’s to come.]

A Shame
[The camera cuts to the ring where the crowd is buzzing with excitement, though a sense of disappointment looms in the air. Hiroshi Takagi stands tall in the ring, his chest heaving with victory after a hard-fought battle. He is staring down at the fallen King Neptune, who lies on the canvas, clearly defeated.]
Hiroshi Takagi: (breathing heavily, smiling with confidence) This is what happens when you try to step up to me, Neptune. You thought you could challenge the top? Well, tonight… I proved why you’re not on my level.
[Takagi raises his arms in victory, soaking in the boos from the fans who are disappointed at the outcome. He continues to stand over King Neptune, taunting the downed fan favorite as the camera pans across the crowd.]
Hiroshi Takagi: (mocking Neptune) You wanted to be a challenger, huh? You wanted that Junior Heavyweight Championship shot? You’ve got a long way to go, kid.
[Takagi turns around, soaking in the boos for a moment, but then a shot is cut backstage where we see Isamu Kurogami standing in front of a monitor, watching the match unfold. His arms are crossed, and his expression is stoic, yet there’s a visible disappointment on his face as he watches Takagi celebrate over Neptune.]
Isamu Kurogami: (shaking his head, speaking under his breath) Pathetic…
[Kurogami’s voice is low but clear, his cold, calculating gaze locked on the screen.]
Isamu Kurogami: (to himself) You can talk all you want, Takagi, but you don’t have what it takes to make it to the top. I expected more from you… And King Neptune? If you’re going to be the one challenging Kaneda, you better have more than what I just saw.
[He pauses for a moment, his gaze still focused on the monitor. The disappointment is evident in his eyes as he watches Takagi continue to mock Neptune in the ring.]
Isamu Kurogami: (with a sigh) These games… they only get you so far.
[Kurogami turns and walks out of the frame, leaving the tension hanging in the air as the camera cuts back to the ring.]
[In the ring, Takagi is still celebrating, now mocking King Neptune further by pointing at his own muscles, flexing for the crowd. He doesn’t notice the camera shift back to Neptune’s prone body until a slow, pained movement from Neptune catches his attention.]
Hiroshi Takagi: (mocking) Oh, look, Neptune’s still breathing. You’ve got heart… but not enough to stop me.
[Takagi kicks Neptune lightly, before turning his back, as the camera lingers on the defeated King Neptune, struggling to sit up. The scene then cuts again to the backstage area where Kurogami’s words seem to hang over the situation as the show continues.]

The Best You Got?
[The scene opens backstage at the Samurai Summit Casino Arena, where the camera focuses on Katsuhiro Kaneda, the RSPW & IPWA Junior Heavyweight Champion. His expression is stormy, his hands clenched into fists. He marches down a narrow corridor, heading straight for the office of the COO, Hiroshi Fujimoto. The camera follows him as he enters the office without knocking, startling the COO, who is reviewing some documents at his desk.]
Katsuhiro Kaneda: (voice raised, full of frustration) Hiroshi! What is this nonsense? Why am I, the RSPW and IPWA Junior Heavyweight Champion, being forced to face someone like Hiro Ryuu tonight?
[Kaneda slams a fist on the desk, his intense gaze locked on the COO. Hiroshi Fujimoto, a composed figure, doesn’t flinch but instead slowly looks up, setting his papers aside as he meets Kaneda’s glare.]
Hiroshi Fujimoto: (calmly) Kaneda, I understand your frustration, but Hiro Ryuu is no slouch. He’s an experienced fighter with a lot of heart. You may not respect him, but underestimating your opponent is the quickest way to get yourself into trouble.
Katsuhiro Kaneda: (sneering) Heart? That’s all you’ve got to say? I’m the best junior heavyweight in the world. I hold two championship belts, and you want me to waste my time with someone like him? It’s beneath me!
[Kaneda steps forward, looking down at Fujimoto, his voice dripping with arrogance.]
Katsuhiro Kaneda: (mocking) What’s next, Hiroshi? You want me to face a rookie in a handicap match?
[Fujimoto remains unfazed, leaning back in his chair and folding his hands together.]
Hiroshi Fujimoto: (calm but firm) I don’t care how many belts you hold, Kaneda. You’re facing Hiro Ryuu because it’s a challenge—whether you see it as such or not. If you want to be the best, you need to show respect for every competitor.
[Kaneda’s jaw tightens, but he takes a step back, still fuming. Hiroshi’s tone doesn’t waver.]
Hiroshi Fujimoto: (pointing to the door) Now, get to the ring. Your match is next.
[Kaneda stares at Fujimoto for a moment, eyes burning with frustration. He clearly wants to argue, but his pride forces him to relent. He straightens up, turning to leave the office.]
Katsuhiro Kaneda: (gritting his teeth) Fine. But this is a waste of my time.
[Kaneda slams the door behind him, leaving Hiroshi to watch him go, unfazed. The camera lingers for a moment before following Kaneda as he storms down the hallway, his anger palpable.]
[The camera cuts back to the arena as the buzz of the crowd intensifies. The match is about to begin.]

Contender
[The scene opens backstage at the Samurai Summit Casino Arena, where Rei Yoshida is standing with a microphone in hand. Behind her stands the brash Texan, Colt Thompson, looking more than confident. He adjusts his hat, a cocky smirk on his face as the camera zooms in on him. He’s moments away from facing Yoshi Ono in a match that will earn the winner a shot at the RSPW Heavyweight Championship held by Ryujiro.]
Rei Yoshida: (smiling) Colt, tonight you’ve got a huge opportunity ahead of you. A match against the legendary sumo wrestler, Yoshi Ono, and the winner will earn a shot at Ryujiro’s RSPW Heavyweight Championship. How are you feeling going into this match?
[Thompson’s smirk widens as he gives Rei a once-over, clearly unconcerned.]
Colt Thompson: (snickering) How do I feel? Well, Rei, I feel like this is just another walk in the park for The Lone Star. I mean, let’s be real here. Yoshi Ono? A sumo wrestler? That’s a joke. Just because the man’s a little bigger and can throw people around doesn’t mean he’s ready for someone like me.
[Thompson takes off his hat and taps it against his chest, his cocky confidence only growing with every word.]
Colt Thompson: (mocking) I mean, look at me! I’m the best thing to come out of Texas, and I’m going to show this sumo-wrestling clown that it takes more than size to get the job done. You think that because he’s got some big muscles and a reputation, he can take down The Lone Star? Not a chance. I’m quicker, I’m smarter, and I’m tougher than anyone he’s faced.
[Rei watches, trying to keep the interview on track, but Thompson is far too full of himself to care.]
Rei Yoshida: (chuckling) You certainly sound confident, Colt. But you have to admit, Yoshi Ono’s experience is undeniable. And the stakes couldn’t be higher. You’re talking about a shot at Ryujiro’s title here. Do you think that adds extra pressure for you tonight?
[Thompson scoffs, clearly unbothered by the idea of pressure.]
Colt Thompson: Pressure? Please, Rei. I don’t feel pressure. I create pressure. Ryujiro is sitting pretty with that belt, but he knows what’s coming. He knows I’m next in line. I’ve been working my whole career for this moment, and I’m not gonna let some sumo-wrestling has-been get in my way.
[Thompson leans in slightly, his voice lowering to a dangerous level.]
Colt Thompson: (serious) Yoshi Ono might think he’s ready for a shot at the top, but after tonight, he’ll know exactly what happens when you mess with me. He’s about to get a reality check. And when I take that victory and get my shot at the RSPW Heavyweight Championship? Well, let’s just say Ryujiro better be ready to bow down to the new champ.
[Rei smiles, but there’s a slight tension in the air as Thompson’s intensity matches his bravado. Colt walks off screen with a smug smile, clearly thinking about the upcoming fight.]
Rei Yoshida: (turning back to the camera) Well, there you have it—The Lone Star Colt Thompson, full of confidence and ready to claim his opportunity at the RSPW Heavyweight Championship. His match against Yoshi Ono is just moments away, and the stakes have never been higher. Back to you at ringside.
[The camera cuts away as the scene fades to the action in the ring.]

It’s Official
[The arena erupts into cheers as the bell rings, signaling the end of the main event. Yoshi Ono stands tall in the center of the ring, his hand raised in victory after a hard-fought battle against Colt Thompson. The sumo wrestler looks exhausted but satisfied, taking a moment to soak in the cheers from the fans. The crowd is firmly behind him, chanting his name in approval.]
[As Ono celebrates, the camera pans to the ramp, where the RSPW Heavyweight Champion, Ryujiro, slowly steps onto the stage. The fans cheer as Ryujiro’s imposing figure towers over the arena. He stands tall at the top of the ramp, his RSPW Heavyweight Championship belt draped over his shoulder, a look of determination in his eyes as he watches Ono closely.]
[Ryujiro raises the microphone to his mouth, his voice booming across the arena.]
Ryujiro: (calmly) Yoshi Ono… I’ve been watching you. I’ve been seeing your path, your strength, your will to win. And tonight, you’ve earned my respect.
[The fans cheer loudly, clearly excited to see Ryujiro acknowledging Ono’s victory.]
Ryujiro: (nodding) You fought with everything you had, and I’ve got to say… you’re a hell of a competitor. But now, it’s time for you to step up to the big leagues. You’ve won tonight, but now you’ve got to face the RSPW Heavyweight Champion.
[The crowd goes wild as Ryujiro slowly begins to make his way down the ramp, never taking his eyes off Ono. The tension builds as Ono remains in the ring, standing tall and awaiting his challenger.]
Ryujiro: (smiling) I’m impressed, Ono. But don’t think for a second that I’m going to go easy on you. You’ve got a long way to go if you want this title. But tonight… tonight, you proved you belong in the ring with me.
[Ono, a calm and disciplined competitor, nods at Ryujiro, his expression focused as he prepares for what’s ahead.]
Ryujiro: (raising the title high) So, the question is… are you ready for the challenge? Because when we meet for this… (he gestures to the Heavyweight Championship) it’s going to be a fight that will be talked about for years to come.
[Ryujiro stops at the edge of the ring, looking up at Ono, who stares back at him with fierce determination. The two competitors exchange a silent but powerful look, the anticipation between them thickening with every passing second.]
[The fans cheer wildly, the excitement building for what is to come. Ryujiro slowly raises the title in the air one more time, before giving Ono a nod of approval.]
Ryujiro: (serious tone) It’s official, Ono. The fight for this title… (gestures to the belt again) will happen. And when it does, only one of us will walk out as champion. Get ready.
[With that, Ryujiro turns and walks back up the ramp, leaving the fans cheering and chanting for the impending showdown. Ono watches him leave, clearly focused and ready for the challenge that lies ahead. The camera zooms in on Ono’s face, a steely determination in his eyes.]
[The fans continue to cheer as the camera fades out, marking the end of the show.]
[End of Show.]
