P:V Uprising 97
Live on the Sanctioned Violence Network
Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia
9th November 2024

The camera pans over the roaring crowd in Philadelphia’s iconic Wells Fargo Center, packed with fans waving signs and chanting as the opening pyros explode on the stage. The energy in the arena is electric, and the excitement for tonight’s action is palpable. The shot cuts to ringside, where commentators Zac Brindle and Johnny Kaos stand ready to hype the show.

Zac Brindle: “Good evening, everyone, and welcome to Project Violence: Uprising 97! We’re coming to you live from the Wells Fargo Center here in Philadelphia, and if you thought last week was intense, buckle up—tonight is set to be a rollercoaster ride of action and drama!”

Johnny Kaos: “You’re right, Zac! The City of Brotherly Love is about to get a taste of Project Violence at its finest. With championship implications, personal rivalries, and clashes of pure skill, tonight has it all!”

Zac Brindle: “And speaking of rivalries, we’re going to see Adam Garcia take on the mysterious monster Midas! After Midas tried to decimate Elijah Drake last week, Garcia stepped in for the save. Now, Midas is looking for payback, and this time, it’s one-on-one!”

Johnny Kaos: “That’s going to be explosive, no question. But that’s not all! Tonight, we’ve got the TV Championship on the line as reigning champion Anderson Alvarez defends his title against former champion Maverick Matthews. Matthews is itching to reclaim what he lost, and Alvarez isn’t one to back down from a fight!”

Zac Brindle: “Absolutely, Johnny! And with tag team title contention on the line, the Starr Brothers will face off against the veterans, Masters of the Mat. Both teams know that a win tonight could catapult them into championship conversations, so expect nothing short of a battle!”

Johnny Kaos: “Plus, we’ve got two wrestlers on a mission to prove themselves: Rex Stone and Brandon Snyder. They’ve both been on a rough patch lately, but tonight could be the night they get back on track. I’ve got a feeling we’re going to see these guys leave it all in the ring.”

Zac Brindle: “And how about this one for a classic matchup, folks? The IPWA Heavyweight Champion Masafumi Satake will take on his friend, the IPWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Dash Diaz, in a friendly rivalry match. It’s champion vs. champion—no titles on the line, just pure respect and skill. These two might be friends, but don’t expect either of them to go easy tonight!”

Johnny Kaos: “Tonight is stacked from top to bottom, and the stakes couldn’t be higher as we edge closer to the biggest title bouts on the horizon!”

Zac Brindle: “It’s an incredible night here in Philadelphia, with everything on the line! The bell rings right after this—stay tuned, Project Violence Uprising 97 is about to kick off!”

The camera pulls back, catching one last shot of the fired-up crowd as the show fades to its opening match.

It’s Coming Home

The camera cuts to Elena Cruz, standing with a confident smile and her microphone in hand. Next to her is Maverick Matthews, the former TV Champion, visibly tense and fidgeting with his wrist tape as he glares into the camera. Tonight, he has a rematch for the TV Championship against Anderson Alvarez, but there’s a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes.

Elena Cruz: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the former TV Champion, Maverick Matthews. Maverick, tonight you get your rematch against Anderson Alvarez for the TV Championship. But let’s talk about the elephant in the room—Alvarez’s allies in Hate Eternal. Are you concerned about them getting involved tonight?”

Maverick smirks, but it’s clear he’s masking some nervousness. He leans in close to the microphone.

Maverick Matthews: “Concerned? Let me tell you something, Elena. I’m not worried about Anderson Alvarez himself. No, I know exactly who and what he is: a fluke champion who wouldn’t stand a chance against me if it weren’t for his little band of degenerates backing him up!”

He pauses, glancing over his shoulder, as if expecting someone to pop out of nowhere.

Maverick Matthews: “I mean, let’s be honest, Anderson wouldn’t have that title if it wasn’t for Hate Eternal lurking around every corner, ready to do his dirty work. I was the rightful champion! I made that TV Championship mean something. I brought prestige to it! And tonight, I plan on reclaiming what’s mine.”

Elena Cruz: raising an eyebrow “So, are you prepared if Hate Eternal decides to interfere?”

Maverick scoffs, but there’s a hint of worry behind his bravado.

Maverick Matthews: “Prepared? I shouldn’t even have to be! I came here to wrestle for a title, not to be ambushed by a bunch of cheap-shot artists hiding behind Anderson’s so-called ‘championship reign.’ But if Hate Eternal wants to get involved, let them come at me! I’ll take each and every one of them down, one by one, if that’s what it takes.”

He leans closer to the camera, pointing as if directly addressing Alvarez.

Maverick Matthews: “And Anderson, I hope you’re listening. You can bring your entire army, but tonight, that TV title comes back where it belongs. You’re not ready for the storm that’s coming your way, and your little friends? They won’t save you.”

Elena Cruz: “Well, Maverick, it sounds like you’re ready to fight against any odds tonight. Good luck out there.”

Maverick Matthews: smirking, trying to keep his cool “Luck’s got nothing to do with it, Elena. Tonight, Anderson Alvarez is going to remember why I was the greatest TV Champion this company has ever seen.”

With a final glare at the camera, Maverick Matthews walks off, leaving Elena to send it back to ringside.

Where Ever You Are

The bell rings, and Anderson Alvarez stands tall, smirking as he holds the TV Championship high over the fallen Maverick Matthews. The boos from the crowd fill the arena, but Anderson doesn’t seem to care—he’s savoring the moment. As Matthews struggles to sit up, Hate Eternal’s Hate Watson, Masashi Miike, and Asume Sukeban slide into the ring, forming a menacing circle around the defeated Matthews.

Zac Brindle: “Oh, come on! This is too much! Anderson already got the win—this is nothing but a blatant show of Hate Eternal’s brutality!”

Johnny Kaos: “This is Hate Eternal’s M.O., Zac! They don’t just want to win; they want to send a message!”

As Matthews tries to get back to his feet, Alvarez motions to the rest of Hate Eternal, who begin to close in on him. Hate Watson cracks his knuckles, and Miike grins darkly as Asume Sukeban stands by, arms folded with a stoic expression. The crowd erupts in boos, pleading for someone to stop the impending assault.

Just as Hate Eternal advances on Matthews, the crowd explodes with cheers as Stevie Rigg charges down the entrance ramp, steel chair in hand! Without hesitation, Rigg slides into the ring, brandishing the chair like a weapon, his face etched with intensity.

Zac Brindle: “It’s Stevie Rigg! Here comes Rigg with a steel chair!”

Johnny Kaos: “This guy’s got guts, but he’s outnumbered! Four on one—he’s asking for trouble!”

Rigg swings the chair, forcing Hate Eternal to back off. Alvarez, Watson, Miike, and Sukeban all glare at him, their initial shock turning to anger. Rigg stands between Matthews and Hate Eternal, shouting and gesturing with the chair to keep them at bay.

Stevie Rigg: yelling “Come on! Let’s see how tough you are when you don’t have the numbers!”

The fans are on their feet, chanting Rigg’s name as he holds the chair high, challenging Hate Eternal to make a move. For a moment, it looks like Hate Eternal might rush him, but Alvarez raises a hand, signaling his crew to back down. With sneers and glares, Hate Eternal slowly retreats, backing out of the ring as the crowd showers them with boos.

Anderson Alvarez: pointing at Rigg, sneering “This isn’t over, Rigg! You just signed up for a world of pain!”

Rigg watches them go, not dropping his guard for a second. As Hate Eternal makes their way up the ramp, Rigg finally kneels beside Matthews, helping him to his feet while keeping an eye on Alvarez and his crew. The crowd cheers in support as Rigg stands tall, protecting Matthews from any further assault.

Zac Brindle: “Stevie Rigg just put himself in Hate Eternal’s crosshairs, but he saved Maverick Matthews from a vicious beatdown tonight!”

Johnny Kaos: “Rigg’s not backing down from anyone! But you know Hate Eternal—they’re going to make him pay for this.”

As Hate Eternal disappears backstage, Rigg nods at Matthews, giving him a reassuring pat on the back before helping him out of the ring. The fans chant Rigg’s name as he stands by the ropes, watching the entrance ramp intently, daring Hate Eternal to come back as the show heads to a close.

Open Challenge

The camera cuts to the backstage interview area where Elena Cruz stands, microphone in hand, next to Masafumi Satake, the IPWA Heavyweight Champion. Satake, calm and composed, has his title belt resting over his shoulder, its gold glinting under the bright lights.

Elena Cruz: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the IPWA Heavyweight Champion, Masafumi Satake! Tonight, Satake faces Dash Diaz, the IPWA Junior Heavyweight Champion, in a champion vs. champion match. Satake, what are your thoughts going into this showdown?”

Masafumi Satake: nodding respectfully “Thank you, Elena. Tonight’s match with Dash Diaz is a rare honor. I respect Dash. He’s a fighting champion, a true warrior. This isn’t about titles; it’s about showing our craft, our spirit, our dedication to this sport. It’s about two champions giving these fans everything we have.”

Elena Cruz: “No doubt the fans are excited to see the two of you compete! But I understand you also have a major announcement regarding Uprising Episode 100. Can you tell us more about that?”

Masafumi Satake: pausing, then looking directly into the camera “Yes, I do. Episode 100 is a milestone for Uprising, and I want to honor that milestone by giving a rare opportunity. I’m officially throwing out an open challenge to anyone who thinks they have what it takes to face me for the IPWA Heavyweight Championship.”

The crowd can be heard buzzing from the arena as Satake’s words sink in.

Elena Cruz: “An open challenge for the IPWA Heavyweight Championship? That’s huge! Satake, are you sure about this? You’re inviting anyone to step up for a title shot in just a few weeks.”

Masafumi Satake: nodding firmly “Absolutely, Elena. Being champion isn’t just about holding a title—it’s about proving yourself every time you step into the ring. I want someone who’s as hungry as I am. I want someone who has the heart, the spirit, the courage to step up and face me on one of the biggest nights in Uprising history. I’m ready to face the best this company has to offer.”

Elena Cruz: excitedly “Wow! You heard it here, folks! An open challenge from the IPWA Heavyweight Champion, Masafumi Satake, for Uprising Episode 100. But first, tonight it’s champion vs. champion when Satake meets Dash Diaz in what’s sure to be an epic contest!”

Masafumi Satake: smiling slightly “Dash, tonight we bring our best. And to whoever steps up for Episode 100… I’ll be waiting.”

With that, Satake nods to Elena and walks off, leaving her to stare after him, clearly impressed by his bold announcement.

Elena Cruz: “Masafumi Satake is setting the stage for something unforgettable, and it all starts tonight against Dash Diaz. Back to you at ringside!”

Fear the Name

The camera cuts to the dimly lit backstage area, where Katya Roux, the calculating and devious manager of the monstrous Midas, stands next to her towering client. Midas, the masked Egyptian powerhouse, looms ominously, his eyes narrowed and focused, his imposing figure casting a shadow over the hallway. Katya paces around him, her expression a mixture of confidence and anticipation.

Katya Roux: smiling wickedly “Tonight, Midas, tonight is the night. The so-called Heavyweight Champion, Adam Garcia, is standing right in your path, and he has no idea what he’s walking into.”

Midas stays silent, his cold gaze fixed ahead as Katya circles him, her voice brimming with confidence.

Katya Roux: “Garcia… He may hold that title, but that’s only because he hasn’t met anyone like you. You’re not just a wrestler—you’re a force. And tonight, you’re going to show him and the entire world why they should fear the name Midas.”

Katya stops in front of Midas, looking up into his intense, unreadable eyes. She raises a finger, pointing with conviction.

Katya Roux: “Remember, you don’t need words. You don’t need flashy entrances or empty promises. What you have is power, unrestrained and unbreakable. Adam Garcia may be the champion, but he’s just a man. And tonight, he will face something he cannot defeat… something no one can defeat.”

She takes a step back, admiration mixed with a touch of menace in her expression.

Katya Roux: “When you walk into that ring tonight, every person in this arena will feel your presence. You’ll shake the ground beneath them. You’ll make them doubt their so-called champion. And Adam Garcia? He’ll realize what he’s truly up against.”

Katya smirks as she places a hand on Midas’s shoulder.

Katya Roux: “This isn’t just about victory. This is about domination. When you’re done, Midas, they’ll all know that the monster in that ring… isn’t to be challenged.”

With a final, approving nod, Katya steps back, letting Midas stand in silent readiness, his imposing figure ready to storm into tonight’s main event against the Heavyweight Champion. The camera fades to black as Katya gives a sly, triumphant smile.

Making a Statement

The match between Masafumi Satake and Dash Diaz comes to a close, with Satake emerging victorious in a hard-fought contest. Both champions, exhausted but respectful, meet in the center of the ring, exchanging a firm handshake to the sound of roaring cheers from the crowd.

Zac Brindle: “What a match! These two champions just gave it their all, and the respect between them is something special!”

Johnny Kaos: “This is what competition is all about, Zac. This is what makes these champions so respected around the world!”

The crowd continues to cheer as Satake and Diaz raise each other’s arms, each champion acknowledging the other. But suddenly, the arena plunges into total darkness! The cheers turn into murmurs of confusion, and then boos as anticipation hangs heavy over the audience.

Zac Brindle: “Wait…what’s going on?! The lights just went out! This can’t be good!”

A few tense seconds later, the lights snap back on. The crowd gasps in shock as Masafumi Satake and Dash Diaz are both sprawled on the mat, laid out and motionless. Standing ominously over them, gripping a steel chair with a look of defiance, is the RSPW Junior Heavyweight Champion, Katsuhiro Kaneda! His face is an emotionless mask as he surveys the damage, his chair showing the marks of his brutal attack.

Johnny Kaos: “Oh my god… that’s Katsuhiro Kaneda! The RSPW Junior Heavyweight Champion! What’s he doing here?!”

Zac Brindle: “I don’t know, Johnny, but this was clearly planned! He’s taken out not one but two champions, and the crowd is letting him have it!”

The arena fills with furious boos as Kaneda stands tall, raising the chair in his hands as a silent statement of his dominance. He gazes around the ring at the fallen bodies of Satake and Diaz, his face betraying no remorse. The crowd erupts into chants of “You suck!” but Kaneda remains stoic, seemingly unfazed by their anger.

Zac Brindle: “This is unthinkable! Kaneda just made his intentions crystal clear. He’s not here to play nice—he’s here to make a statement!”

Johnny Kaos: “And what a statement it is, Zac! Kaneda just sent a message to every champion in Project Violence and beyond! No one is safe!”

Kaneda drops the chair, letting it clang to the mat as he stands over Satake and Diaz, savoring the chaos he’s left behind. The boos continue to rain down, but Kaneda stands firm, a dark and calculating presence in the middle of the ring.

As the scene closes, Kaneda slowly raises his RSPW Junior Heavyweight Championship belt, holding it high over the fallen IPWA Heavyweight and Junior Heavyweight Champions, making it clear to everyone that he’s come to stake his claim in Project Violence.

Zac Brindle: “What a despicable act! Satake and Diaz didn’t deserve this. Kaneda has thrown down the gauntlet, and this war is only beginning!”

The final image is of Kaneda standing tall, title raised high, surrounded by the carnage he’s caused as the screen fades to black.

Accept the Challenge!

The camera cuts to the backstage interview area, where Elena Cruz stands with Teddy Rush. Rush has a focused expression, still brimming with intensity from last week’s confrontation with Gabriel Cross.

Elena Cruz: “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with Teddy Rush. Teddy, last week you were celebrating a hard-fought victory when Gabriel Cross interrupted, stealing the spotlight and making it clear he has his eyes on you. What do you have to say about Cross’s actions?”

Teddy clenches his jaw, clearly frustrated as he recalls last week’s events.

Teddy Rush: with a low, steady tone “You know, Elena, last week was supposed to be a moment for me. I closed a chapter, put my past to rest, and finally moved forward. But Gabriel Cross… he couldn’t stand seeing someone else have the spotlight. So he just had to stick his nose in my business, didn’t he?”

Rush glances off-camera, his frustration visible, before returning his gaze to Elena.

Teddy Rush: “Look, I don’t care what Gabriel thinks he can gain by targeting me. He wants to make a name for himself at my expense? Fine. But he better know what he’s stepping into. I’m not the type to just take that lying down.”

Rush looks directly into the camera, his expression challenging.

Teddy Rush: “So, Gabriel, if you’ve got the guts to interrupt me, then have the guts to face me. I’m standing here, ready and waiting. You want to prove yourself? Step into that ring with me and back it up. Let’s see what you’re really made of.”

Elena nods, sensing the gravity of Rush’s challenge.

Elena Cruz: “Strong words from Teddy Rush, who’s thrown down the gauntlet! Gabriel Cross, the ball’s in your court—will you accept this challenge?”

Teddy crosses his arms, waiting, his eyes fixed on the camera as if daring Gabriel to respond. But the segment fades out on that intense cliffhanger, leaving everyone wondering if Cross will rise to the challenge.

Midas vs. Adam Garcia

Ringside
Keeping it 100

The bell rings, signaling the end of a hard-fought main event as Adam Garcia raises his arms in victory after defeating Midas. The crowd cheers, but the celebration is short-lived as Midas, seething with rage, ambushes Garcia from behind. Midas rains down brutal strikes on the Heavyweight Champion, sending him to the mat. The boos fill the arena as Midas, driven by fury, continues his relentless assault.

Zac Brindle: “Oh, come on! This is uncalled for! Midas couldn’t get the job done, so he’s attacking Garcia after the match?”

Johnny Kaos: “Midas has snapped, Zac! He’s making Garcia pay!”

Just as Midas pulls Garcia to his feet, preparing for another devastating attack, the crowd erupts as Elijah Drake sprints down the ramp! The fans cheer as Drake slides into the ring, charging at Midas and tackling him off of Garcia. Midas and Drake exchange blows until Midas, surprised by the intensity of Drake’s retaliation, rolls out of the ring and glares back at them from the ramp, his manager Katya Roux trying to restrain him.

Zac Brindle: “Elijah Drake with the save! He’s returned the favor after Garcia helped him last week!”

Johnny Kaos: “But look at that stare from Midas—he’s not done with Garcia yet!”

Drake turns his attention to Garcia, helping him back to his feet as the champion steadies himself, clearly worn down from the attack. The two rivals share a tense look, respect mixed with a competitive edge. Drake grabs a microphone, taking a step back as he raises it to his lips, his eyes locked on Garcia.

Elijah Drake: “Adam… consider us even. But I didn’t come out here just to save you.”

The crowd buzzes with anticipation, sensing the moment they’ve been waiting for.

Elijah Drake: “You know I’ve been waiting. Waiting for my chance, my shot at that title you’re holding. Well, I’m done waiting. I’m cashing in my title shot, and I want it on the biggest stage of all. Episode 100, Garcia. You, me, one-on-one… for the Heavyweight Championship!”

The arena erupts as Garcia, still catching his breath, nods, a fierce glint in his eye. He holds his title up in the air, silently accepting the challenge as the crowd chants “Episode 100!”

Zac Brindle: “There you have it, folks! Elijah Drake has laid down the challenge, and he wants it all on the line at Episode 100!”

Johnny Kaos: “This is going to be huge, Zac! These two are on a collision course!”

The camera captures the intense standoff between Garcia and Drake, the championship belt gleaming between them as they stare each other down. With the crowd roaring in excitement, the screen fades to black, the epic showdown set in motion for Episode 100.

Arrival of the Iron Heart

The screen fades to black before cutting to a dimly lit gym, the rhythmic sound of fists hitting a heavy bag filling the air. The camera closes in on Caleb Knox, his fists taped and focused as he drives each punch with precision and purpose. His breathing is steady, controlled, a testament to the discipline and grit that define him.

Caleb Knox: voice-over “I’ve been watching… waiting. I’ve seen every victory, every cheap shot, every challenge. I’ve watched champions rise… and watched those who fell when the lights were the brightest.”

The scene cuts to highlights from recent Project Violence matches—Adam Garcia holding his championship high, Elijah Drake throwing down a challenge, Midas lashing out in frustration.

Caleb Knox: voice-over “I’m not here to talk my way to the top. I’m not here to play games. I’m here to prove that I belong in that ring, just like anyone else. Because this isn’t a show for me. It’s who I am. And I’ll face any challenge to prove it.”

The camera pulls back, revealing the unmistakable Philadelphia skyline behind him. He steps forward, looking out over the city with the same determined expression. His breath forms mist in the cold air, a sign of the unwavering toughness that has earned him the name “Iron Heart.”

Caleb Knox: “Episode 100 is coming… and so am I.”

Knox turns his gaze directly to the camera, his face lit only by the streetlights above. His voice is calm, but his words are laced with an intensity that resonates beyond the screen.

Caleb Knox: “I’ve fought to be here. I’ve bled to be here. And when I step through those ropes, I’ll show them why I don’t back down. They call me Iron Heart for a reason.”

The screen fades, Knox’s figure disappearing into the shadows. The words “Caleb Knox—Debuting Soon” flash across the screen, leaving a powerful sense of anticipation lingering in the air.
