Live on the Sanctioned Violence Network
Crimson Club Casino Arena, Atlantic City, NJ

19th April 2025

The broadcast kicks off with a sweeping overhead shot of the Crimson Club Casino Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the crowd buzzing with anticipation as the lights pulse red and silver. The camera zooms in on the commentary table where the voices of Zac Brindle and Johnny Kaos welcome fans around the world, live on the Sanctioned Violence Network!

Zac Brindle:

“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another adrenaline-charged edition of PV Uprising, and tonight it’s Episode 118, coming to you live from the sold-out Crimson Club Casino Arena!”

Johnny Kaos:

“We are on the road to Ascension, and the Ascension Tournament kicks off tonight with four huge first round matches that will shake the landscape of Project Violence to its core!”

Zac Brindle:

“And this tournament isn’t just for bragging rights—whoever wins this thing is headed straight to the main event of Ascension, with a guaranteed shot at the PV Heavyweight Championship!”

Johnny Kaos:

“And speaking of that title—last week, the world was left stunned when Jean Louis Duval, the smug IPWA International Heavyweight Champion, strutted into PV, contract in hand, and locked in a title match against Masafumi Satake at Ascension!”

Zac Brindle:

“Tonight, Satake isn’t waiting around. He’s stepping into the ring in a handicap match against Duval’s enforcers—The Legion, Royce Lacroix and HyperNova! Talk about making a statement!”

Johnny Kaos:

“And don’t forget—Elijah Drake is still radio silent after being unmasked as the man who cost Adam Garcia his record-setting title reign at Deadly Habits! We’re all just waiting for Garcia to make his move.”

Zac Brindle:

“And in other championship news, former TV Champion Midas made it crystal clear last week—he’s coming for Bernard Wolfe and that gold again. That story’s just heating up!”

Zac Brindle:

“But tonight, the spotlight is on the Ascension Tournament, as top names from PV and international standouts collide!”

Johnny Kaos:

“We’ve got Caleb Knox taking on Japan’s own Haruki ‘Thunderstorm’ Hayashi from Rising Sun Pro Wrestling! That’s going to be an absolute slugfest.”

Zac Brindle:

“And also from RSPW, the electrifying Takeshi ‘The Rising Dragon’ Kobayashi takes on Oliver Harrington, the arrogant Dynasty Wrestling star from across the pond.”

Johnny Kaos:

“Add to that Teddy Rush vs. Rex Stone, and a banger between Boyd Jackson and Dash Diaz, and we’ve got a full night of action that could rewrite the PV title picture.”

Zac Brindle:

“So buckle up, fight fans—Uprising 118 is about to explode into action!”

Cue the pyrotechnics and theme music as the crowd roars—PV Uprising 118 is underway!

Backstage
The Battle Begins

The camera fades into the backstage interview zone, where Elena Cruz stands poised with a microphone in hand. Standing beside her, arms crossed and eyes burning with intensity, is “Iron Heart” Caleb Knox, dressed in his ring gear, ready for battle.

Elena Cruz:

“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with Caleb Knox, who is moments away from kicking off his journey in the Ascension Tournament. But Caleb… last week, a lot of people were surprised when you came up short in the main event against Dash Diaz. Can you tell us where your head is at going into tonight’s match?”

Knox exhales through his nose, the hint of a scowl flashing across his face before he answers, voice calm but steely.

Caleb Knox:

“Last week… yeah, it stung. I don’t like losing, and I especially don’t like losing to someone who’s been running on fumes for months. But maybe I needed it. That loss reminded me that in Project Violence, even the smallest misstep can cost you everything.”

He pauses, his gaze locked on the camera.

Caleb Knox:

“This tournament? It’s my path. My opportunity. And I won’t make the same mistake twice. I’m done with distractions, done underestimating anyone. Tonight, it starts again. Tonight, I beat Haruki Hayashi and take the first step toward the PV Heavyweight Championship.”

He uncrosses his arms, clenching a fist as a faint smirk creeps across his lips.

Caleb Knox:

“Hayashi calls himself the ‘Thunderstorm’… well, let’s see how he handles the storm when it’s coming straight from Iron Heart. Let’s see what happens when lightning meets steel.”

With that, Knox brushes past Elena Cruz and walks off toward the gorilla position, laser-focused.

Elena Cruz:

“Caleb Knox means business tonight—and if he’s as locked in as he says, Haruki Hayashi is in for a fight.”

Camera fades to black as Uprising rolls on.

Backstage
Shameful

The camera catches Haruki “Thunderstorm” Hayashi walking slowly down the hallway backstage, towel over his shoulder, sweat on his brow. He looks disappointed after his loss in the opening round of the Ascension Tournament to Caleb Knox. The crowd buzz from the arena can still be heard faintly in the background.

Suddenly, from around the corner steps fellow Rising Sun Pro Wrestling standout, Takeshi “The Rising Dragon” Kobayashi—still dressed sharply in his ring jacket, ready for his own upcoming match later tonight. His arms are folded across his chest, his gaze sharp and disapproving.

The two RSPW stars lock eyes, and Kobayashi speaks first—in rapid-fire Japanese.

Takeshi Kobayashi:

“オマエは恥をかかせた。RSPWの名を背負って戦いに来たのに、何をしている?”

(“You’ve brought shame. You came here carrying the name of RSPW into this fight—and this is what you do?”)

Haruki Hayashi:

(visibly frustrated, replying in Japanese)

“俺だって全力を尽くした!相手が強かっただけだ…”

(“I gave it everything I had! He was just stronger…”)

Takeshi Kobayashi:

“言い訳をするな。全力では足りない。お前は『雷雨』だろう?だが今夜、お前はただの小雨だった。”

(“No excuses. Your best wasn’t enough. You call yourself ‘Thunderstorm’? Tonight, you were barely a drizzle.”)

Hayashi drops his gaze, clenching his jaw in frustration. Kobayashi steps closer, his voice quieter but just as sharp.

Takeshi Kobayashi:

“俺がこの恥を償う。そしてRSPWの名を正しく証明してやる。”

(“I will clean up this embarrassment. I’ll show them the true name of RSPW.”)

Kobayashi turns on his heel and walks away without another word, leaving Hayashi alone in the corridor, staring after him with a mix of anger and shame. The camera lingers on Hayashi’s expression before cutting away.

Not Here to make up the Numbers

The camera cuts to the backstage interview set where Elena Cruz stands poised with a microphone in hand. Beside her, dressed in a tailored designer jacket with gold trim, sunglasses indoors, and an obnoxiously confident smirk, stands “The Essex Pretty Boy” Oliver Harrington — the former Dynasty Wrestling UK Champion.

Elena Cruz:

“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time — a man representing Dynasty Wrestling in the Ascension Tournament — the former DW UK Champion, ‘The Essex Pretty Boy’ Oliver Harrington.”

Harrington flashes a smug grin and pulls off his sunglasses, tucking them into his blazer pocket.

Oliver Harrington:

“Cheers, love. It’s good to be here in Atlantic City — even if it’s a bit more… bargain bin than Essex.”

Elena Cruz:

“Oliver, tonight you go one-on-one with Rising Sun Pro Wrestling’s Takeshi Kobayashi in the first round of the Ascension Tournament. Thoughts?”

Oliver Harrington:

“Oh, I’ve got thoughts, sweetheart. I’ve been watching all the noise about this tournament — all the blokes talkin’ about grit, hunger, heart. It’s cute. But see, I’m not here for a fairytale. I’m here to win.”

He smirks at the camera with that signature cocky glint in his eye.

Oliver Harrington:

“Let’s get one thing straight — I’m not just some ‘guest talent.’ I’m the face of real wrestling royalty. The best to come out of the UK since steak and kidney pie. I carried Dynasty Wrestling on my back for years, and now I’ve come to Project Violence to show the entire world that British wrestling reigns supreme.”

Elena Cruz:

“You sound very confident. Do you think you have what it takes to win the whole tournament?”

Oliver Harrington:

“Do I think? Elena, darling — I know. Takeshi Kobayashi’s a big deal in Japan, right? But he’s stepping into the ring with class, style, and the future Heavyweight Champion of PV. I’m going all the way to Ascension, and I’m doing it while looking better than anyone else in the locker room.”

Harrington adjusts his collar, winks at the camera, and flashes a grin that’s both charming and irritating at the same time.

Oliver Harrington:

“Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a match to win — and a nation to make proud. Essex, stand up.”

He turns with a flourish and struts off camera, leaving Elena Cruz slightly speechless as the scene fades out.

The road to Ascension

The camera fades in on the backstage area of the Crimson Club Casino Arena. Elena Cruz stands with a sparkling phone in one hand and a microphone in the other, smiling brightly for the camera as always. Her phone is already live-streaming the moment to her followers, the chat going wild at the sight of her guest.

Elena Cruz:

“Heyyy PV Universe! Elena Cruz here, coming to you live from backstage at Uprising 118, and I am standing with your reigning, defending, and incredible PV Heavyweight Champion — the pride of Japan — Masafumi Satake!

The crowd watching on the arena screen gives a big cheer. Satake steps into frame, championship belt over his shoulder, calm and composed as always. He gives a respectful nod to Elena and the camera.

Masafumi Satake:

“Thank you, Elena. It is always good to be here… and to fight for the fans.”

Elena Cruz:

“Okay, so — big drama alert, because last week, Jean Louis Duval — yes, that Jean Louis Duval — marched into PV, signed a contract, and BOOM, now he’s getting a shot at your PV Heavyweight Championship at Ascension! And let’s not forget, he beat you for the IPWA International title a few months ago. Spill the tea, Satake — how are you feeling about all this?”

Satake takes a deep breath, looking down at the title on his shoulder before answering with quiet intensity.

Masafumi Satake:

“Jean Louis Duval… is not a man I forget. He beat me before, yes. But he did not break me. And if he thinks coming to Project Violence will be easy… he will learn the hard way. Here, the fight is real. Here, respect is earned.”

Elena Cruz:

“Oof, okay champ, I see the fire! But let’s talk about tonight — you’ve got to face both of Duval’s hired guns in a handicap match: Royce Lacroix, who’s like a literal tank from France, and HyperNova, who flips like he’s got springs in his boots. I mean, are you even worried?”

Satake gives a small, confident smile, eyes focused.

Masafumi Satake:

“I do not fear numbers. I fear no one. Royce Lacroix, HyperNova… they fight for a man who hides behind others. I fight for the fans. For honor. For this belt.”

He lifts the PV Heavyweight Championship slightly, the gold glinting under the lights.

Masafumi Satake:

“They may try to weaken me before Ascension. But I will show them — and Duval — that I am not the same man he faced before. I am stronger now. Smarter. More dangerous.”

Elena Cruz:

“Okay wow, Satake is not messing around tonight! 👀 Good luck in the main event, champ — my followers are already flooding the chat with hearts for you!”

Satake bows his head respectfully one last time before walking off with purpose, championship over his shoulder. Elena turns back to the camera, grinning.

Elena Cruz:

“You heard it here first, PV fans — the champ is ready to throw down! And remember, the road to Ascension just got veryreal. Stick around — more action coming your way, right here on Uprising!”

The camera fades out as we head back to ringside.

What is Important

The camera cuts to a luxurious-looking corner of the backstage area — decked out with velvet drapes in deep red and gold, a French flag draped across the wall. In the center stands the smug and immaculately dressed Jean Louis Duval, the IPWA International Heavyweight Champion, flanked on either side by his menacing enforcers: the brutish ex-boxer Royce Lacroix and the agile, masked high-flyer HyperNova. Collectively known as The Legion, the trio ooze arrogance and superiority.

Duval, dressed in a designer suit with his championship slung over his shoulder, paces back and forth in front of his henchmen, holding a glass of sparkling water with a slice of lemon like it’s the finest champagne. His signature smirk grows wider with every word.

Jean Louis Duval:

Mes amis, tonight… is not about winning.”

He pauses for dramatic effect, eyeing Lacroix and HyperNova with a theatrical intensity.

Jean Louis Duval:

“Tonight is about inflicting pain. Tonight is about humiliation. Tonight… is about sending a message.”

Lacroix cracks his knuckles. HyperNova tilts his head slightly, arms crossed, silent but clearly focused.

Jean Louis Duval:

“Masafumi Satake walks around with that PV Heavyweight Championship like he is the face of this company. Non. He is yesterday’s news. Old honor. Old spirit. But we… we are the future.”

Duval steps between them, raising his title high.

Jean Louis Duval:

“There is a new power rising in Project Violence… A superpower. And it is not American. It is not Japanese. It is not British. It is… French.”

He snaps his fingers and the French flag behind them unfurls more dramatically. Lacroix nods in approval, while HyperNova adjusts his wrist tape with precision.

Jean Louis Duval:

“I do not care if the referee raises your hands tonight. I care that Satake crawls away from that ring, broken, battered… and reminded that at Ascension, he will fall to me. I already took his IPWA gold. Now I will take everything else.”

Duval takes a deep breath, calming the sinister fire in his voice. He straightens his suit jacket and lifts his chin.

Jean Louis Duval:

“Go, my Legion. Make the champion suffer.”

Lacroix grins wickedly. HyperNova nods and walks off wordlessly. Duval sips his sparkling water with a smug smirk as the camera slowly fades to black.

Ringside
Explanation

The lights dim in the Crimson Club Casino Arena, and the atmosphere immediately shifts to hostility as a familiar theme hits the speakers.

The crowd ERUPTS in boos as Elijah Drake steps onto the stage, wearing a black leather jacket, hood pulled over his head, and a smug, defiant look on his face. The man who cost Adam Garcia his year-long reign and shocked the PV Universe with his unprovoked sneak attack now strides down the ramp like he owns the place.

Drake slowly climbs the steel steps and enters the ring, microphone in hand. He stands dead center in the ring, soaking in the hate. The camera catches fans screaming, flipping him off, some even throwing crumpled programs toward the barricades. The atmosphere is nuclear.

Elijah Drake:

….

He raises the mic to speak—

CROWD:

“YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!”

Drake smirks, lowering the mic again.

Elijah Drake:

….

Another attempt—

CROWD:

“GARCIA! GARCIA! GARCIA!”

Drake paces, clearly growing agitated. He tries once more.

Elijah Drake (barely audible):

“I—”

CROWD:

“SHUT THE HELL UP! SHUT THE HELL UP!”

Drake lowers the microphone again and clenches his jaw. He paces the ring, staring at the crowd with contempt. The boos rain down louder and louder, until finally—

Elijah Drake:

“…You know what?”

He flips the crowd off with both hands, a wicked sneer across his face. The arena explodes in outrage.

Drake tosses the mic to the mat with a loud thud and storms out of the ring, refusing to give the fans—or Adam Garcia—the explanation they came for. He marches up the ramp, unfazed by the barrage of insults thrown his way.

Zac Brindle:

“Are you kidding me!? We waited two weeks for this and Elijah Drake walks out without saying a word! The audacity of this man!”

Johnny Kaos:

“He just doesn’t care, Zac! He doesn’t owe anyone anything in his mind! That was pure disrespect!”

As Drake disappears behind the curtain to deafening boos, the camera lingers on the empty ring and the furious fans in Atlantic City.

Fade to black.
