As the package begins to come to an end, the live camera pans around the packed-out Goodfellas Casino Arena in the heart of Las Vegas, with the fans ready to see some exciting live action!

A video package plays from earlier in the day where fans have been milling around the Goodfellas Casino Arena, meeting the sVo stars and getting autographs, before the camera heads back to the arena for the first match of the night to get started!

Backstage
Earlier This Evening

The cameras are backstage from earlier today and there is a lot of buzz as the sVo crew rushes to make sure that the arena and stage is all set up for tonight’s massive sVo Vendetta PPV. There it’s lots of hustle and bustle as various crew members rush around, however the noise noticeable drops as the door to the parking lot opens, and into the backstage corridors steps JD James.

JD James takes a look around at the different workers, all who quickly look away to avoid making eye contact with the man that will referee tonight’s main event between his friends Johnny All Star & Gunner Lang.

JD James senses the mood and quickly walks through the corridors, wheeling his travel suitcase behind him as he goes. James quickly comes across the locker room marked ‘JD James’ and disappears behind the door, shutting it quickly behind him.

The weight of the world seems to be on the shoulders of JD James tonight, but will he call the main event down the middle or favour one of the two former Horizon members over the other?

Handicap Steel Cage Match
Anthony Moretti & Joe Baronne vs. Athena

‘Woke Up This Morning’ by A3 hits the sound system and the fans boo as the gold lights flash around the arena. After a few seconds, the former sVo Tag Team Champions Anthony Moretti & Joe Barone step out onto the entrance ramp with their hands in the air. Barone slowly makes his way down the ramp towards the ring, ignoring the boos of the fans. Anthony Moretti cockily steps up onto the ring apron, before climbing through the ropes and into the ring. Acting like the superstar he thinks he is, Anthony Moretti raises both hands in the air, however receives nothing but boos from the fans. The Blood Money leader Moretti continues to taunt the fans whilst standing in the middle of the ring, as the massive frame of ‘the Problem Solver’ Joe Barone stands behind him with his arms crossed.

‘There And Back’ by Daughtry hits the sound system and there is a cheer from the crowd as the lights in the arena dim. After a few seconds the impressive Athena slowly walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp, before raising one arm in the air. Pyro shoots into the air either side of Athena at the same time her arm shoots into the air, before she slowly walks down the entrance ramp. Athena climbs into the ring before posing for the fans one last time as the music fades out.

Moretti and Barone look ultra confident as they face down Athena from the opposite corner of the ring, with Athena knowing that she needs to defeat both of them to avoid her having to reveal her secret to the world tonight! Athena stands tall as the lights in the arena dim, before a spotlight flashes around the crowd as the steel cage begins to descend from the top of the Goodfellas Casino Arena to surround the ring and lock in the three competitors!

The fans cheer as the cage is locked in place as the lights in the arena return to normal. The referee calls for the bell to be rung, and the match is quickly underway!

Athena makes her way towards her opponents knowing that she will need to take them down one at a time, but Moretti and Barone have other ideas as they split off and surround Athena in the middle of the ring. Moretti and Barone stalk around Athena menacingly! Athena leaps forward to grab hold of the smaller man, and locks up with Anthony Moretti, but before she can inflict any damage on the former sVo Champion, Barone nails her with a double axe handle from behind.

Athena staggers away in pain, and Barone follows up with a second double axe handle to the back of her head, before grabbing her by the arm and whipping her into the ring ropes. Athena bounces back into the middle of the ring, straight into a big boot from Joe Barone. The fans boo loudly as Moretti and Barone swarm on Athena, laying into her with some stick stomps and kicks.

Athena finally manages to crawl away to the corner of the ring and pull herself up by the ring ropes. Moretti runs at Athena in the corner, and Athena side steps the former Champion which causes him to hit the corner hard. The fans cheer as Athena follows up by running at Barone and hitting the ‘Problem Solver’ with a stiff clothesline! However despite being strong enough to chop down a tree, the clothesline is only strong enough to stagger the big man backwards. Athena tries the clothesline again, with similar results! Athena looks for one last clothesline to take down Barone, but Moretti cuts her off mid stride with a spear!

The fans boo as Moretti lands some big mounted punches on Athena in the middle of the ring, before she is able to use her strength to push her away.  Athena staggers up to her feet, but Moretti is there to take her down with a Backdrop, followed up quickly with a Gutbuster! With Athena down, Barone watches on as Moretti makes the first cover of the match.

One,

Two,

No!

The referee holds two fingers in the air to confirm the two count, but Joe Barone quickly leaps in to stomp away on Athena, giving her no time to recover!

Barone works away on Athena, as Moretti marches around the ring inside the steel cage, posing for the fans and signalling how easy it is! Athena looks in trouble as Joe Barone pulls her up to a standing position! Barone grabs Athena around the throat, looking for his finishing move, but to the delight of the crowd Athena finally takes the big man down, with a low blow!

Barone sinks to his knees in pain, as Moretti catches the eye of Athena and suddenly turns from confident to worried!

The fans pop as Moretti tries to put some distance between himself and Athena, but being locked in a steel cage there is only so far he can get! Athena grabs hold of Moretti and rams him face first into the side of the cage! The fans cheer as Athena repeats the move several times and seemingly enjoys doing it, before finally taking Moretti down with an impressive Swinging Side Slam! The former sVo Champion quickly gets to his feet, but Athena is waiting for him with a Inverted atomic drop, before following up with a Backbreaker! The crowd are on their feet as it seems Athena might actually do this thing as she lands a Single knee facebreaker on Moretti, before taunting to the fans!

There is a loud cheer as Athena waits for Moretti to get to his feet, before locking the former sVo Champion in a Cross Face Chicken Wing! There is no way for Moretti to go inside the steel cage, and the sVo Champion looks desperate not to tap! The crowd chant ‘tap, tap, tap!’ towards Moretti, but the Blood Money leaders blushes are spared as Joe Barone finally comes to the rescue to break up the submission hold! Athena looks gutted as she gets to her feet and sees her slim chance of picking up the win and keeping her secret safe fade away as she gets to her feet only to run straight into a big boot from Joe Barone!

Moretti looks in pain as he staggers up to his feet, before demanding that Barone finishes this match once and for all! Joe Barone obliges as he powers Athena’s limp body up, before landing the ‘Omerta’ in the middle of the ring! Athena looks like she would not be able to kick out of a cover after that move, but Moretti has other ideas as he smiles to himself, before preparing to make Athena submit her secret!

The fans boo loudly as Moretti grabs the legs of his opponent, before locking Athena in the Texas Cloverleaf submission hold in the middle of the ring! Athena desperately crawls to the ring ropes to try and keep her secret safe, but under the rules of the cage match there is no rope break as Moretti laughs and tightens up on the hold!

Athena shows just how much she wants to keep her secret as she uses the side of the cage to painfully try and pull herself up whilst in the submission hold, but Joe Barone cuts her off with a vicious elbow drop to her lower back! Moretti laughs out loud as he drags Athena back to the middle of the ring and pulls back even harder on the submission hold! Athena looks tearful as she realises that she is going to have to tap, until suddenly the lights in the arena dim and her music hits the sound system!

There is confusion in the crowd and in the ring as ‘There And Back’ by Daughtry plays over the sound system, until after what seems like an eternity a figure slowly walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp, before raising one arm in the air. It’s too dark in the arena to see who exactly it is as the figure slowly walks down the entrance ramp, stopping just short of the steel cage.

In the ring Anthony Moretti releases Athena from the submission hold as he and Joe Barone stand side by side, staring at the figure who is looking back at them from the darkness through the mesh of the steel cage.

Suddenly the music cuts and the lights come back up to reveal the mystery figure and there is a loud gasp from the crowd as they realise who it is…..

Staring back at Blood Money with anger in his eyes is ‘THE DARK HORSE’ CURTIS KNIGHT!!!

No one in the arena can process what they are seeing as the P:V legend stands still and stares at Moretti and Barone!

In the ring Athena slowly crawls to the corner of the ring and rests in the corner in a seated position, her secret finally revealed to the world – Curtis Knight is still alive!

No one can quite take in what they are seeing, until suddenly Knight springs into action as he angrily tears one side of the cage down with a shocking display of power! Moretti and Barone glance at each other in shock, as Knight throws the side of the steel cage down, before climbing up onto the side of the ring apron.

‘The Dark Horse’ climbs over the ring ropes, and Moretti and Barone finally spring into life, jumping forward to attack the big man. However Knight fights them both off with big head butts, before taking turns to hit High Release Powerbombs on both men, picking even Joe Barone up with ease!

With Moretti and Joe Barone down and out, Athena slowly and tiredly crawls over, before draping an arm over the body of Anthony Moretti. Even the referee seems frozen in shock, until Curtis Knight pushes him down to count the fall.

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and Athena wins the match!

Ringside
The Secret

There is no fanfare, no victory celebration and not even any music as Athena pulls herself slowly up to her feet after the victory over Anthony Moretti. The fans still can’t believe what they are seeing, as Curtis Knight stands before them in the middle of the ring, very much alive and well after being missing and thought dead for over fifteen years.

Knight and Athena nod to each other, a job well done, before slowly climbing out of the ring and making their way backstage after leaving Moretti & Barone laying.

The irony doesn’t look lost on Athena as her and her husband Curtis Knight turn at the top of the entrance ramp and stare back at the sVo fans who are looking back in shock – she has won the match to save her secret, by revealing her secret to the world…. Curtis Knight is alive & here in the sVo!

Knight and Athena disappear back through the curtain and to the backstage area, leaving more questions than answers as the scene fades out.

Going to War

After the big PPV win for Kenneth D Williams, the camera cuts away from the celebration to the backstage interview area where interviewer Katie Smith is standing by with a microphone in hand. Alongside the pretty redhead is Darwin Jones, who towers above the interviewer.

Katie Smith: “Darwin, there has been some shocking scenes so far tonight. Does any of this impact how you approach your match against William Vorheez tonight?”

Jones looks down at Smith, as if he is considering the question with all of his genius level IQ.

Darwin Jones: “I have seen some things that I never expected to see tonight, but one thing that you should definitely not expect to see later tonight is a match between me and William Vorheez….”

Smith looks up at the big man, the confusion all over her face.

Darwin Jones: “No tonight is not going to be a simple wrestling match, there isn’t going to be any wrist locks that’s for sure. Tonight it is going to be an all out war out there when I face off against Vorheez, Page made sure of that when he made it no holds barred. Vorheez put Ryzing on the injured list indefinitely when he mistakenly accused us of getting involved in his sVo Championship match…. Tonight I am going to pay that back ten fold.”

Katie Smith: “Well you mention that Vorheez accused you and the rest of Horizon for costing him the sVo Championship when he lost it to Johnny All Star, something we later found out was caused by Blood Money. Do you think that will have any impact on tonight’s main event?”

Darwin Jones: “To tell the truth Katie, I have the upmost respect for Gunner, he and me have always been tight…. I have less so respect for Johnny these days…. However my eyes are on nothing other than ending the career of William Vorheez tonight! After that, then maybe I will see about getting some gold around my waist again….”

Jones nods to Katie Smith to signal the end of the interview, and the scene cuts back to ringside.

sVo Las Vegas Championship Match
Money Malone (c) vs. Jacob Izaz

“The Champ is Here” by O Fresh hits the sound system, and boos ring out as the arena is basked in a dull red glow. After a few seconds the boos get louder as Money Malone steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp with the Las Vegas Championship belt over his shoulder and wearing a ‘Blood Money’ t-shirt, holding a roll of dyed red dollar bills in his hand. Malone taunts at the top of the entrance ramp, before slowly walking down towards the ring. Malone throws the red dollar bills into the crowd before slowly climbing up into the ring and taunting on the middle as the music slowly fades out.

‘Not for Radio’ by Nas hits the sound system and the fans cheer as onto the top of the entrance ramp swaggers the confident looking Jacob Izaz. Izaz holds his arms in the air and stands motionless for a few seconds as flash bulbs go off around the arena, before he slowly continues his swagger down the entrance ramp towards the ring. Izaz hops up onto the ring apron and again throws his arms up in the air to poses for the crowd, before climbing through the ropes and into the squared circle.

With two of the brightest new sVo superstars in the ring and ready to do battle, Money Malone hands the sVo Las Vegas Championship belt to the referee, who holds it in the air to signal that it will be on the line in tonight’s match! The referee hands the belt to the outside of the ring and calls for the bell to be rung and the action to get started!

Both men tries to push the other backwards in a test of strength, however it ends in a stalemate before Malone cuts Izaz off with a knee to the midsection. With Izaz down in the drop zone, the fans boo loudly as Malone makes his way to the top rope! Malone stands on the top rope and wastes valuable time taunting to the fans, before leaping at the challenger and looking for the ‘Money Shot’! However Izaz sees the move coming, and rolls out of the way!

Malone manages to land on his feet off of the top rope with the failed Money Shot attempt, but as he turns around he walks straight into a Snap T-Bone suplex from Izaz! The fans cheer loudly as Izaz pulls Malone up to his feet and lands a Front backbreaker, quickly followed up with a Cutter in the middle of the ring!

It looks like a bad night for Blood Money might be about to get even worse, as Jacob Izaz rises up to his feet and taunts for his finisher as he closes in on the sVo Las Vegas Championship!

Malone staggers to his feet and lands some right hands in desperation, but Izaz lands a kick to the midsection before dropping Malone on his head with a Double underhook piledriver! It looks all over for Money Malone, as Jacob Izaz retreats to the corner of the ring and prepares to deliver ‘the Message’! The fans rise to their feet as Money Malone slowly begins to get to his feet in the middle of the ring, and Izaz pounces! However Malone ducks under the foot of his opponent, before raking him in the eyes!

The fans boo loudly as Izaz staggers away holding his eyes in pain, leaving Money Malone the chance to grab him by the arm and force him down to the mat and into the ‘Money Maker’ submission hold! Izaz shouts out in pain as Malone pulls back on the submission hold! The referee asks Izaz if he wants to tap, but Izaz shakes his finger to say no, before trying to move his feet towards the ropes to cause a rope break!

The fans will Izaz on towards the ropes, but as he reaches the ropes with his feet, Malone cleverly pushes his own feet off of the ropes and rolls Izaz back into the middle of the ring before the referee can spot it!

The boos ring around the arena as Money Malone doesn’t worry about keeping the hold locked in, and instead releases Izaz straight away and rolls out of the ring! Malone marches around to the ringside area and grabs the sVo Las Vegas Championship belt and quickly makes his way back up the entrance ramp grasping his gold!

Backstage
Family Legacy

The cameras head backstage, where William Vorheez is in his locker room with only moments to go until his no holds barred match against Darwin Jones. Vorheez is seemingly finishing up his warm up for the match which is sure to be a hard hitting affair, by doing some shadow boxing in the corner of the ring.

The alarm suddenly buzzes in the locker room to signal that it’s time for Vorheez to make his way out to the ring, causing Vorheez to cut his shadow boxing short. Vorheez quickly reaches into his gym bag and pulls out a small picture, a picture that seems to show William Vorheez standing next to his deceased brother Tripp Whipwreck from years ago. Both men seem to have huge smiles on their faces and are standing in front of a bunch of men and women who are standing in a wrestling ring and also smiling at the camera.

Vorheez takes one last look at the picture before stuffing it back into his gym bag, and making his way out of the locker room and towards the ringside area.

The sVo Presents Showdown #114
31st October 2021
Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas NV

No Holds Barred Match
William Vorheez vs. Darwin Jones

The arena goes pitch black as the opening guitar riff from “Abominator” by Doyle plays. Smoke billows up from the bottom of the staging area, as green laser lights dance across the stage. Just as the opening riff comes to a close, two large hits of a drum can be heard, and pyro goes off syncing with them. The song dives in, as Vorheez makes his appearance at the top of the ramp. Wearing a long black, sleeveless coat, that has green stitching and it covered in small spikes, as well as a black, beat up, cowboy hat covering his eyes. Vorheez marches slowly down to the ring, his eyes fixated on the ring, looking determined, and focused. As Vorheez climbs onto the ring apron and climbs inside the ring, the lights slowly come up and the music fades.

The arena lights dim as the V-Tron goes dark and several different colored gases start swirling in the middle. As the gases swirl faster the arena is rocked with an explosion from the V-Tron and pyro exploding from the ramp. The swirling gases are replaced by a spinning earth and ‘Evolution’ by Clawfinger fills the arena. The earth continues to spin as pictures of mankind’s greatest accomplishments and tragedies emanate from the spinning globe.

A Cro-Magnon man starts to walk forward evolving with every step it makes raising its arms out to the side, finally ending with Darwin Jones walking forward with his arms spread wide blocking out the view of the earth. Pyro explodes on the entrance ramp as Darwin Jones appears on the entrance ramp arms spread wide. He takes his time to the ring working the crowd into a frenzy. Sliding into the ring he pulls himself up into a corner still working for the crowd.

Both men stare across the ring at each other, ready to go to war, as the referee calls for the bell to be rung and then steps out of the way, knowing his only job in this no holds barred match is to call for the opening bell and declare the winner!

Jones and Vorheez slowly circle around each other in the middle of the ring whilst trash talking each other, as the anticipation for this match up grows in the crowd! Finally the match springs into life as Darwin Jones rocks the former 2x sVo Champion with a big right hand! Vorheez fires back with some massive right hands of his own, before Darwin Jones clotheslines Vorheez over the top rope and to the floor below! Darwin Jones takes a second to pose for the fans, before quickly climbing out of the ring to follow his opponent to the outside!

Vorheez meets the big man Jones with some right hands, before grabbing him by the arm and trying to Irish whip him into the security barrier, however Jones uses his strength to reverse the attempt and send Vorheez hard into the steel barrier! Vorheez staggers away holding his back in pain, and Jones runs at him to take him down with a lariat! Vorheez hits the hard floor, and Darwin Jones begins to stomp away on him!

The referee is powerless to stop the assault on the outside of the ring as Darwin Jones pulls William Vorheez up to a standing position, before scooping him up into the air in a bearhug position. Jones then shows off his impressive strength as he runs forward and slams Vorheez back first into the steel ring post!

Vorheez might have a broken back as he lays on the hard floor in pain! Darwin Jones looks pleased with his actions, getting some revenge for his injured tag team partner Hugo Ryzing! The fans cheer as Jones steps towards the announcers table a few steps to his left, and clears the desk of all of the monitors and equipment! Fiasco and Sloan quickly get out of the way as Darwin Jones pulls William Vorheez towards the desk!

The fans rise to their feet, as Darwin Jones shows off his strength to pick William Vorheez up into the air, before sending him crashing through the announcers table with an ‘Apex Plex’!

‘Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!’

The chant from the fans speaks for itself as William Vorheez lays motionless in the wreckage of the table at ringside! Darwin Jones slowly rises up to his feet, looking pleased with his handiwork! Jones stares down at the former 2x sVo Champion, but seemingly decides that he hasn’t extracted enough revenge for his tag team partner yet, as he grabs a steel chair from ringside! Jones tosses the steel chair into the ring, followed by a second steel chair!

At this point William Vorheez is beginning to stir, but Jones keeps on the offensive as he stomps away on his opponent, before dragging him out of the wreckage of the table to back towards the ring! Jones lifts the lifeless body of Vorheez up and rolls him into the ring, before climbing in himself!

William Vorheez tries to climb to his feet to stop the brutal onslaught of Darwin Jones, but the younger Jones is too quick for the longest reigning sVo Champion of all time, as he scoops him up and lands the ‘Big Bang Theory’ in the middle of the ring!

William Vorheez is motionless and the referee pleads with Jones to just make the cover, but it appears the big man from San Francisco has other ideas!

The crowd rise to their feet as Darwin Jones pulls William Vorheez onto his back, before placing one of the steel chairs under the head of his opponent! With Vorheez laying on one of the steel chairs like a pillow, Darwin Jones picks up the second seat turned weapon and holds it in the air for all to see!

The referee pleads with Darwin Jones not to do it, but Darwin Jones looks determined to make Vorheez pay the ultimate price for putting his tag team partner on the injured list! Darwin Jones uncharacteristically pushes away the referee as he tries to put himself between the two competitors, but as he does there is murmourings from the crowd as over the security barrier steps two massive individuals, both wearing skull masks!

The two identical looking big men quickly push away any security that tries to stop them, before climbing into the ring! A brief look of confusion appears over the face of Darwin Jones, before he starts swinging the steel chair in their direction!

The two big men duck and weave out of the way of the steel chair that is swinging through the air in their direction, before using the numbers game to take down Darwin Jones! The fans boo loudly as the big man with the name ‘Igor’ down the side of his pants lifts Darwin Jones off of the mat, before nailing a massive ‘Samoan Spike’ style move on Jones! Jones looks down after the big move, but the other skull mask wearing giant, with ‘Boris’ on the side of his tights, pulls him up and hits a Package Piledriver on Jones!

Boris & Igor take a step back, as an exhausted looking William Vorheez crawls up and nods to both men, before draping himself over Darwin Jones! After the carnage of this no holds barred match, the referee gratefully dives down to make the count!

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and after the onslaught from Darwin Jones, it is William Vorheez who somehow picks up the victory with the help of the mysterious giants ‘Boris’ & ‘Igor’!

There are boos from the way that the match went down as Boris and Igor help William Vorheez out of the ring and to the back, leaving Darwin Jones laying in the middle of the ring.

Winner via pinfall: William Vorheez

No Back Up

The cameras head backstage to the locker room of Blood Money, where a battered and bruised Anthony Moretti & Joe Barone are hastily packing up their belongings. Moretti and Barone are carelessly throwing everything that they can get their hands on into a bag. The door slowly opens, and both Moretti and Barone jump back in fear, only for the sVo Champion Johnny All Star to slowly walk through into the room.

Johnny All Star: “Wow guys, what’s going on?”

Moretti & Barone return to packing up their belongings, not even looking up at All Star as they do.

Anthony Moretti: “Did you not see what happened earlier? We are getting the hell out of here and going on the lam!”

All Star starts to look panicked as he looks from Moretti to Barone.

Johnny All Star: “But wait, I haven’t had my title match tonight! What about our plan?”

Anthony Moretti: “Sorry brother, you are going to have to go it alone tonight, I’m not risking Knight getting his hands on me again, did you not see him rip the side off the cage with his bare hands?!”

All Star starts to look even more panicked.

Johnny All Star: “What about JVD, or Malone, or Lucy? They are still in right?”

Anthony Moretti: “Sorry brother, they are already out of here. I suggest you do the same as soon as you get that match won. You are good enough to get the job done against Lang surely?”

All Star stares down at the Championship belt which he is now holding in his hands, before repeating the phrase himself, almost as if to convince himself as much as his team mates.

Johnny All Star: “I am good enough to do this on my own. I am good enough to beat Lang….”

All Star stares at the sVo Championship as Moretti and Barone glance at each other. Moretti shakes his head and shrugs his shoulders, motioning for Barone that they are not sticking around regardless.

Anthony Moretti: “Best of luck out there brother, make sure to join us as soon as that three count is made!”

Moretti pats his brother on the back, before he and Barone quickly exit the locker room, leaving the sVo Champion alone with his belt and his thoughts.

Single Match
Scott Washington vs. Yoshi Ono

‘Sympathy for the Devil’ by the Rolling Stones hits the sound system and there are loud boos inside the Goodfellas Casino Arena as Amy Page slowly walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp. Page, the younger sister of the sVo Owner, scowls at the crowd, before slowly walking down the entrance ramp, ignoring the hands of the fans at ringside as she walks. Page slowly walks around to the announcer’s position and sits down next to Sloan and Fiasco at the wreckage of the desk, seemingly wanting to get a close look at her two clients who are about to go head to head!

The lights in the arena dim and the mood changes as ‘GTA’ by Meek Mill hits the sound system. As the base reverberates around the arena, the massive figure of Yoshi Ono slowly steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp and looks out at the arena. The crowd loudly boo the sight of Ono, but the Japanese star ignores the crowd and performs a sumo ritual dance at the top of the entrance ramp. Ono then slowly walks down to the ring at his own pace, before slowly climbing into the ring and staring out at the crowd from the corner of the ring with a snarl on his face as the lights slowly come back up.

The fans are on their feet as ‘California Vacation’ by The Game hits the sound system and the lights in the arena dim. Golden sparks rain down from the top of the giant screen onto the entrance ramp as Scott Washington step through them and holds his arms in the air. The huge ‘O-Town Outlaw’ taunts to the crowd who boo loudly as he walks down the entrance ramp with his eyes focused on the ring. Scott Washington jumps up onto the ring apron before climbing into the ring and warming up in the corner of the ring for his upcoming battle.

Both men don’t even wait for the opening bell as they quickly make their way to the middle of the ring and begin trading right hands. The bad blood between the two former tag team partners has been boiling for the last two months, and both Ono and Washington seemingly want to destroy each other!

Washington reigns down some hard body shots onto the super heavyweight, but Ono absorbs the punches before knocking his opponent away with a stiff head butt! Washington staggers away, before running at Ono and looking for a clothesline! However the impact of the clothesline isn’t enough to take down the big man, and Ono fires back with a side kick to take down Washington!

The fans seem to be enjoying two people they hate taking each other apart, as Ono bounces off of the ring ropes before hitting a massive splash onto Washington and looking for the cover!

One,

Two,

No!

Somehow Washington manages to kick out and show his strength to move the massive frame of Ono off of him in time!

Ono looks angry at not getting the three count, as he rises up to his feet and taunts his opponent. Washington slowly gets to his feet, and Ono grabs him by the arm and shoots him into the corner of the ring. Ono follows up with a massive splash in the corner of the ring that nearly takes Washington right through the turnbuckle!

Washington looks out on his feet as he stumbles out of the corner, and walks straight into a belly to belly suplex from Ono! Once again Ono makes the cover on his opponent.

One,

Two,

No!

Now Ono is really frustrated as he rises up to his feet and stares at his opponent, wondering just how he kicked out of that! Amy Page continues to watch from ringside as Scott Washington slowly begins to stagger to his feet! Ono lands some massive right hands to the side of Washington’s face, before scooping him up into the air for the ‘Ono & Out’! However Washington has other ideas, as he somehow manages to escape and landing on his feet after rolling off of Ono’s shoulders. Ono spins around to face his opponent, but the ‘O Town Outlaw’ takes him down to the mat with a double leg takedown before landing some stiff mounted punches!

The punches look to have opened up the Japanese star as he staggers to his feet. Ono looks angry at tasting his own blood, as he waddles forward and looks for a sidekick to Washington. However Washington is too quick as he side steps Ono and then somehow lifts up the 425lb fighter and slams him down with a belly to back suplex!

The fans are on their feet after that impressive move, as Washington rolls back up to his feet and shouts at his opponent to get to his feet! Ono looks in pain as he slowly gets to a standing position, but as he does Washington springs forward and lands the ‘Pay Day’ on his opponent! Ono drops backwards and Washington hooks his massive leg to make the cover!

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and Scott Washington wins the hard hitting encounter! Washington rises up to a standing position and looks dominant over his former tag team partner, but before the referee can raise his air in victory, Amy Page rises up from the announcers desk and makes her way into the ring. The fans boo as Page demands that the referee holds the ring ropes open for her to climb into the ring, before grabbing the arm of Scott Washington and raising it in the air in victory herself!

Amy Page takes one last look at Yoshi Ono, before symbolically turning her back on the super heavyweight, as Washington and Page leave the ring and make their way backstage!

Winner via pinfall: Scott Washington

Backstage
Big Signing

The cameras head backstage once again to catch up with interviewer Katie Smith who is camped outside the office of Jon Page. Smith seems to be trying to listen into what ever conversation is going on behind the locked door, as she leans in and places her ear on the door next to the sign that reads ‘Jon Page – sVo Owner’.

After a few seconds the door suddenly swings open which causes Katie Smith to stagger back in surprise, and out of the office steps the massive frames of Curtis Knight & Athena.

Katie Smith: “Erm, Curtis, Curtis! Any word for the sVo fans?”

Smith trusts her microphone upwards towards Curtis Knight, but ‘The Dark Horse’ looks down at her with an upturned eyebrow before quickly walking away. Athena follows Knight, briefly smiling to Katie Smith as if to say sorry.

Smith watches Knight walk away, until quickly turning around to face Jon Page as he steps out of the office.

Katie Smith: “Mr Page, Mr Page. Any comment on what that meeting was all about?”

Page smiles as he thinks twice about answering the question, before finally answering.

Jon Page: “Well it’s obviously a strange situation, I thought that Curtis Knight was dead just like everyone else, yet here he is standing in front of me. However Knight came straight to me after what happened in the opening match tonight and asked me for an sVo contract. After hearing what he has planned for Blood Money I was more than happy to sign him up! I can exclusively reveal that Curtis & Athena are going to address the fans and clear things up live on the next episode of Showdown!”

Katie Smith: “With Curtis Knight having history with the likes of JD James & Johnny All Star, is there any worry that he might get involved in tonight’s main event?”

Jon Page: “The only worry everyone has about the main event tonight is that the old man is going to call things down the middle. I have confidence that JD James will do the right thing….”

Page winks to Katie Smith.

Jon Page: “… but you know what they say, always have a plan B!”

The scene fades out as Jon Page disappears back into his office and heads back to ringside.

Submission Match
Alessia Young vs. Jupiter James

‘Welcome To Toronto’ by Fendo hits the sound system, and there are loud boos from the crowd as onto the top of the entrance ramp steps Alessia Young of the Canadian Connection! Young signals to the crowd, before slowly walking down the entrance ramp bopping her head to the music. Cole rolls into the ring under the bottom rope before climbing to the second rope and staring out at the crowd with her arms folded, before jumping down and preparing for battle as the music fades out.

“Sunflower” by Post Malone hits the sound system and there is a huge cheer from the crowd. After a few seconds a pumped up Jupiter James emerges onto the top of the entrance ramp from behind the curtain and throws an arm into the air to acknowledge the crowd! Jupiter James skips down the entrance ramp side side to side, slapping hands with the fans as she goes before making her way all away the ringside area. Jupiter James finally climbs onto the ring apron on the side of the hard cam and raises both arms in the air to the crowd, before climbing into the ring through the ropes and looking around the arena in awe at the fans cheering her on.

After securing the respect of the legendary Sara Pettis despite coming up short at sVo Immortals a few weeks ago, Jupiter James looks in confident mood as she warms up in her corner of the ring to face off against the undefeated Alissia Young! The referee calls for the bell to be rung, and both ladies slowly make their way towards each other, before meeting with a lock up in the middle of the ring. Young quickly twists her opponents back behind her in a wrist lock, however it isn’t enough to get the job done at this stage of the match as Jupiter James knocks her away with some stiff back elbows!

Young staggers away holding her face in pain, and the fans cheer as Jupiter James bounces off of the ring ropes before landing a flying shoulder tackle to her opponent to send her down! Jupiter James quickly tries to lock on a ankle lock whilst Young is down on the mat, but the Canadian is able to quickly kick her away and get back up to a standing position.

James swoops back in and looks to grab hold of her opponent, but Young side steps the popular star before grabbing James in a waist lock. Jupiter James looks for a standing switch, but Young blocks her off before taking her down to the mat with a waist lock takedown. With Jupiter James down on the mat, the fans boo as Young spins her around and locks in a heel hook submission hold!

James shouts out in pain from the heel hook, but she doesn’t panic and manages to twist herself around, before grabbing Alissia Young in a heel hook of her own! The fans cheer Jupiter James on, but Young manages to free herself with some stiff kicks to the face of her opponent with her free leg. Both ladies get to their feet and Alissia Young looks for a single leg takedown on her opponent, only for James to block her off with some strikes to the back of the head! The fans cheer as Jupiter James follows up with a snap DDT before locking her opponent into a grounded scissors!

Young holds her head in pain from the DDT as she tries to fight herself from out of her opponent’s grasp. Young grabs hold of James’s arm and begins to bend her fingers backwards, before James is forced to release the scissors to save her digits from being broken! Jupiter James staggers to her feet holding her hand in pain, and Alissia Young quickly takes advantage by running at her and landing a big knee to the side of her opponents face!

Jupiter James drops to the mat, and Young locks in a knee bar on her opponent! Jupiter James screams out in pain, and it looks like it might be the end of her challenge to get some revenge on Alissia Young! The crowd will Jupiter James on as she slowly begins to crawl towards the ring ropes! Young tries to pull her opponent back into the middle of the ring, but James manages to reach with one last effort and grab the bottom rope!

The fans cheer loudly, but the cheers turn to boos as Young refuses to break the hold! The referee threatens Young with the DQ, and gets to the count of five before the Canadian finally releases the hold on her opponent! Young looks pleased with herself as she rises up to her feet, as Jupiter James looks like she has trouble standing!

Young finally pulls James to her feet and lands some stiff right hands to her opponent, before taking her down with a big snap suplex in the middle of the ring! With Jupiter James down and hurting, Alessia Young looks for her finishing move as she signals for the ‘Hard Way’! Young looks to lock in the Seated Fujiwara Armbar, however as she does the fans pop as James rolls through and locks in her own version of the submission hold on Young!

The desperation in Alessia Young’s eyes is clear as Jupiter James pulls back on her arm! The fans cheer Jupiter James on, but Young quickly regains her composure and is able to free herself with a leg scissors! Young staggers back up to her feet, but as she does Jupiter James lands a kick to the midsection, before hitting her with the ‘Fifth Rock From the Sun’! The fans pop for the finisher, but whilst Young might usually be down and out for the three count, Jupiter can’t make the cover under the rules of the submission match!

Jupiter James slowly rises up to her feet and looks down at the woman who nearly broke her arm just over a month ago, with only one thing in mind! The fans cheer as Jupiter James grabs hold of Alissia Young, and locks her in the ‘Hard Way’! James pulls back on the arm of her opponent, causing Young to scream out in pain!

The referee drops to ask Young if she wants to quit, but Young shakes her head and reaches for the bottom rope! Jupiter James can’t believe that she hasn’t scored the submission victory, as Young seems to be happy to suffer a broken arm rather than quit and lose the match! Young slowly begins to edge her way towards the ring ropes, so Jupiter James quickly tries to pull her towards the middle of the ring. However with James off balance, Young takes advantage as she sweeps the legs of her opponent away before locking in her a Rear Naked Choke!

The fans boo loudly, as Jupiter James jockeys for position to try and make sure she can still breathe! Alessia Young tightens up on the hold, and as Jupiter James stops moving, the referee calls for the bell!

The fans boo loudly as Alessia Young smiles crazily and keeps the move tight on the limp body of Jupiter James! The referee has to physically pull Alessia Young off of her opponent and put himself between the two competitors to stop her from snapping the submission hold straight back on!

The fans boo loudly as the referee calls to the back urgently for some medical attention and puts his arms in the air in an ‘X’ symbol, as Alissia Young finally staggers away and celebrates the ‘victory’ in the corner of the ring!

Winner via submission: Alissia Young

sVo Championship Match
Special Guest Referee – JD James
Johnny All Star (c)  vs. Gunner Lang

With only the main event left of what has already been a shocking night of action, the fans are on their feet as JD James slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp wearing an sVo referee’s shirt! All eyes are on the legendary wrestling figure, as he climbs into the ring and checks the tightness of the ring ropes and the padding in the corner of the turnbuckle. With JD James being a mentor to both the challenger Gunner Lang & the Champion Johnny All Star throughout their careers, will he call it down the middle or favour one over the other?

The familiar riff of AC/DC’s Thunderstruck fills the arena. As the pyro goes off on the entranceway Gunner Lang explodes onto the entrance ramp shooting off his own pyro from a gun while the sVo Tron shows Gunner and a band playing his entrance music. The fans are on their feet cheering and shout ‘Gunner’ along with the song. Gunner drops the pyro gun and runs down to the ring slapping hands with the fans and giving devil horns. He slides into the ring under the bottom rope and proceeds to take off his shirt and bandanna, throwing them into the crowd.

‘Viva Las Vegas’ by Metal Elvis hits the sound system and the crowd boo loudly as the ‘Welcome to Las Vegas’ sign appears on the giant screen and pyros shoot up from both sides of the entrance ramp. After a few seconds the man himself, Johnny All-Star, steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp, wearing the sVo Championship belt around his waist, and throws his arms in the air. All-Star makes his way through the pyros down towards the ring. All-Star salutes to the fans with the title belt as he climbs into the ring and jumps to the second rope of the nearest turnbuckle. All-Star throws his arms in the air and gets even more boos from his hometown fans.

The fans are on their feet for the main event of the evening, where former best friends stare at each other from opposite sides of the ring, ready to do battle for the sVo Championship belt!

Johnny All Star hands the belt to special guest referee JD James after taking one last look at the gold. The fans cheer as JD James walks with purpose into the middle of the ring and holds the big gold belt high in the air to signal that it will be on the line in tonight’s match! JD James holds the belt high for a few seconds as it glistens under the spotlight, before handing it out of the ring to the ring announcer Natasha Ortiz, and calling for the bell to be rung and the action to get started!

Lang and All Star slowly make their first steps towards each other as the roar from the crowd nearly blows the roof off of the Goodfellas Casino Arena! All Star starts the trash talking as he stands face to face with the former 2x Las Vegas Champion in the middle of the ring, but Lang responds with a big right hand which gets a big cheer from the crowd! Lang hammers All Star with big punches to back him towards the ring ropes, before All Star fires back with some rights of his own! The fans boo as the Champion’s fists rock the challenger a few steps, before Lang lands some punches of his own and the two men go back and forth trading right hands!

Lang looks to be getting the better of the exchange, but the Champion cuts him off with a knee to the midsection. Lang doubles over in pain until All Star grabs him by the arm and shoots him into the ring ropes, however to the delight of the crowd, Lang bounces back and wipes out All Star with a clothesline in the middle of the ring! Lang leaps onto the Champion and hits some mounted punches, before All Star is able to scramble back up to his feet. Gunner Lang lands some big rights and lefts to back All Star into the corner of the ring, before grabbing his opponent by the arm and whipping him corner to corner. All Star hits hard in the opposite corner of the ring, but as Lang looks to follow up with a big splash, the Champion dives out of the way!

Gunner Lang staggers out of the corner holding his chest in pain from the impact, and All Star springs into life to take down the challenger with a neckbreaker in the corner of the ring. The fans boo as All Star drops some stiff knees to the back of his opponents neck as he lays on the mat, before dragging him to his feet and sending him back down with a stiff back drop.

All Star rises up to his feet and seems to take delight in soaking in the boos from the fans, who until recently adored him as the hometown hero. All Star finally turns his attention back to his opponent, dragging him all the way up to his feet before hitting some stiff knife edge chops. Lang staggers back from the impact of each chop, until suddenly springing forward and knocking down the Champion with a big clothesline!

All Star pops straight back up to his feet, but Lang hits a second and then third clothesline in a row to keep knocking him down! Lang lets out a guttural roar to the crowd, before hitting a powerslam on Johnny All Star in the middle of the ring! The fans are 100% behind the challenger as he rolls to his feet and bounces off of the ring ropes, before landing a big elbow drop on the Champion in the middle of the ring! All Star looks in trouble as Lang quickly rolls over his opponent to make the first cover of the match which JD James drops down to count.

One..

Two..

No!

All Star manages to get a shoulder up before the three count, but all eyes were on JD James and just how he would call the count! Lang rises up to his feet and eyeballs his long term friend, as JD James holds two fingers in the air to signal the count after a very deliberate count!

Lang turns his attention back to the Champion as he gets to his feet, before landing a stiff head butt to take him down to the mat again. All Star’s run as Champion looks in serious jeopardy as Lang taunts his former friend to get to his feet, before hitting a big Military Press Slam in the middle of the ring. With All Star down on the mat, Lang grabs the legs of his opponent and twists them over to lock him into a sharpshooter submission hold in the middle of the ring!

The crowd rise to their feet knowing that they could be about to see a new sVo Champion crowned, as JD James drops down to the mat to ask All Star if he wants to quit! All Star shakes his head and reaches out for the bottom rope in desperation to try and keep his title! The fans cheer Gunner Lang on as he pulls back on the submission hold to try and increase the pressure on his opponent! JD James asks the champion again, but All Star shakes his head before finally being able to reach out and grab the bottom rope!

The fans boo loudly at All Star being able to force a rope break, but Lang has other ideas as instead of breaking the hold he pulls All Star away from the ropes and leans back harder on the submission hold! The fans cheer on the challenger as JD James looks confused at the actions of Lang! All Star screams out in pain at the sharpshooter he is locked in, before finally succumbing to the pain!

TAP!

TAP!

TAP!

The Goodfellas Casino Arena erupts as Lang finally releases the submission hold before sinking down to his knees and throwing his arms in the air! Gunner Lang soaks in the cheers from the fans, but JD James has other ideas as he correctly waves off the celebrations, trying to explain to Gunner Lang over the noise that he never broke the hold after the rope break!

The loud cheers suddenly turn to boos as Lang looks at JD James in disbelief! The moment seems to be getting the better of Lang as he shoves JD James in the chest in frustration, which causes James to stagger back into the ropes, before bouncing back and shoving Lang back in the chest! The fans boo loudly as Lang staggers backwards in surprise, straight into a school boy roll up from Johnny All Star!

..

One..

..

Two…

..

No!

To the relief of the crowd, and seemingly JD James himself, Lang manages to get a shoulder up off of the mat before the three count! All Star rises up to his feet and shouts at JD James for being slow to the count, which in truth he was after the shock of nearly costing Lang the title!

Lang quickly rises up to his feet to get back on the offensive, but All Star catches him with a knee to the side of the head before landing a big side slam in the middle of the ring. The boos towards the Champion continue as All Star pulls Lang up to his feet, before following up with a perfect vertical suplex in the middle of the ring. With Lang down, All Star again makes the cover!

One,

Two,

No!

Gunner Lang kicks out after a very fair count from JD James, and this one continues! All Star snarls once again at JD James for what he considered a slow count, before spinning around and landing some big mounted punches on the challenger! Gunner Lang looks in trouble in the middle of the ring as All Star slowly rises up to his feet and taunts the crowd for his finishing move!

All Star stands in wait for Gunner Lang to slowly rose to his feet, before running at him for the ‘Touchdown’! However Gunner Lang has the move from his former friend scouted, and shocks the Champion by countering with a drop toe hold! All Star rises up to his feet with a look of shock on his face, and Lang follows up with an Elevated Gut Buster!

The crowd, feeling the momentum shift once again in this match, rise to their feet as All Star crawls to the corner of the ring and slowly begins to pull himself up to a standing position using the ring ropes. The fans pop as Lang spots his chance, and runs at All Star in the corner, landing the ‘Boomer-lang’ followed up with a ‘Gunner-Struck’ on the Champion! There isn’t anyone left sitting in the Goodfellas Casino Arena as Lang hooks the leg of Johnny All Star to finally claim his first sVo Championship!

..

One..

..

Two…

Johnny All Star’s shoulders do not come off of the canvas, but the three count is not forthcoming as all eyes turn to JD James who seems frozen in position with his hand in the air to count the deciding fall. Lang stares his mentor in the eye, willing him to make the deciding count, but the arm of the special guest referee is frozen in place as JD James slowly shakes his head and apologises to Lang!

Boos ring out around the arena as Lang picks himself up off of the Champion and rises up to his feet, trying to stop his own anger from boiling over! By rights Gunner Lang should be sVo Champion right now, but JD James has refused to count the three!

Gunner Lang grabs hold of JD James around his referee’s shirt collar, as JD James begs forgiveness to his friend, seemingly resigned to his face! Lang looks as conflicted as JD James did when deciding if he should count the three or not, before finally making his mind up and pulling his arm back to punch his now former friend in the face!

However before he can make contact, the arm of Gunner Lang is caught from behind by Johnny All Star! The Champion uses the element of surprise to spin Lang around in the middle of the ring, before dropping him to the canvas with the ‘All Star Stunner’! The boos are deafening as Johnny All Star hooks the leg of the challenger.

One,

Two,

Three!

JD James almost looks disappointed with himself, as the wrestling legend counts the quick three count and then calls for the bell to be rung!

Trash reigns down on the ring from the crowd as Johnny All Star rises up to his feet and holds his arms up in celebration, whilst JD James doesn’t hang around, quickly exiting the ring and making his way back up the entrance ramp, staring down at the ground the whole way.

All Star doesn’t even seem to see his mentor go, as he demands that the sVo Championship belt is handed to him from the outside of the ring. All Star holds the belt high in the air in victory as his theme music blasts over the sound system.

Gunner Lang slowly begins to get to his feet, the realisation of what has happened dawning on the challenger, but Lang isn’t on his feet for long as All Star spots his former friend on his feet and runs at him, smashing him in the face with the sVo Championship belt in one last act of disrespect.

Winner via pinfall & still sVo Champion: Johnny All Star

Ringside
Golden Opportunity

After a long, hard-fought battle, Johnny All-Star emerges victorious over his former team mate Gunner Lang. He raises the sVo Championship high into the air as the crowd drowns him in boos. He heads for the far corner and climbs the turnbuckles hoisting the title high above his head much to the dismay of those in attendance. All-Star climbs back down and leans onto the turnbuckles as he hangs his head down low to catch his breath.

The sVo copyright logo appears on the bottom of the screen as Vendetta prepares to go off the air.

Just as the broadcast is about to conclude the drum solo and electric guitar riffs of “Robot Rock” by Daft Punk hit the sound system as purple, pink, and gold lights illuminate the Goodfellas Arena. All-Star lifts his head, confused, and asks what’s going on. A figure appears from behind the curtain and steps out onto the ramp, flanked by a referee.

WAIT…

Is that?

IT IS!!!

IT’S CODY WILLIAMS!!!

“The Hollywood Rockstar” Cody Williams is stepping foot into the Goodfellas Arena for the first time in 8 years!

HOLY SHIT!

HOLY SHIT!

HOLY SHIT!

He slowly removes his suit jacket and tosses it onto the rampway as he makes his way to the ring.  All-Star’s eyes widen as he’s shocked and confused about what is transpiring. Cody makes it to the bottom of the ramp and loosens up his tie and cuff links, pushing his sleeves up. Jon Page rushes to ringside and meets Cody. Cody says something to Page, pointing to his chest and then to the ring as he locks eyes with All-Star. Page makes his way over to the announcer’s booth and says something to the ring announcer while All-Star leans over the ropes shouting and questioning what’s going on.

Ring Announcer: “The following contest is for the sVo Championship!”

The crowd erupts and comes unglued for the impromptu match announcement as Cody Williams slides into the ring. Cody starts anxiously bouncing in the corner while Johnny All-Star throws a fit. The referee Cody brought along with him calls for the bell and this match is underway!

All-Star stumbles back on his feet as Cody raises his right arm into the air. He bounces off of the ropes and comes running full speed towards the champion, and turns him inside out with a huge running lariat!

He makes the cover!

Cody stands up and grabs the ropes, leaning over them as he stares out into the crowd. His eyes wide, clenching his teeth, as he shakes the ring ropes trying to rally the troops behind him. He turns around and catches a superkick right across the jaw – it catches him flush and he’s on spaghetti legs! All-Star folds him over between his legs, grabs hold of his waist and spikes him right on top of his head compressing his surgically repaired neck with a piledriver!

The two of them meet in the middle of the ring, pressing their foreheads against each other. All-Star delivers a hard knife edge chop across the chest of Cody Williams. Cody responds with one of his own. He grabs Cody by the hair and hits him with a brutal forearm across the face. Cody returns the favor. All-Star hits Cody with a chop, elbow, chop,  combination. Cody not backing down delivers the same combination to All-Star. They both double over trying to catch their breath.

He rushes to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs to the top rope. He points down with both arms at All-Star, zeroing in on his target laying motionless in the middle of the ring. He leaps into the air, tucking his knees tight into his chest, and delivers a diving double foot stomp to the chest – CARPE OMNIA!!!

Ring Announcer: “Your winner… And… NEW! sVo Champion… CODY WILLIAMS!

Cody hops onto his feet and stumbles into the ropes, hanging off of them as the referee retrieves the sVo Championship and hands it to him. Cody grabs the title and looks down at it for several seconds as tears roll down his face. He looks out into the crowd as there isn’t a person sitting down, all of them cheering and jumping up and down.

Cody climbs the turnbuckles and grips the sVo Championship in his hand and looks out to ringside, making eye contact with Jon Page who looks on. Cody hulks up and slaps the center plate and then clutches it with both hands and hits his head with it a couple times.
