Backstage
(Backstage, a well-lit interview area. Rosa Martinez, holding a microphone with the LdCE logo, stands with the veteran luchador El Froggo. El Froggo, in his vibrant frog-themed gear, is bouncing on the balls of his feet, his usual playful energy replaced with a focused intensity. )
Rosa Martinez: “El Froggo, thank you for your time. Tonight, you face the brooding Sombrio. He has been very vocal, saying that you are part of the ‘old guard’ he needs to sweep away to usher in a new era of fear and darkness. What is your response to his comments?”
El Froggo’s jovial demeanor completely vanishes. He lowers his head, then looks directly into the camera, a fire burning in his eyes.
El Froggo: “Rosa, for years, I have been ‘El Froggo’—the playful one, the one who makes the children laugh, the one who brings joy to the ring. But Sombrio, he doesn’t see that. He sees an old man, a joke he can squash. And you know what? He’s right about one thing—he’s gotten under my skin. He talks about the ‘old guard’ like it’s a weakness, but tonight, I will show him it is a strength! It is the strength of a three-decade career! It is the strength of every single fan in this arena who has chanted my name! It is the strength of a heart that is still beating for this beautiful sport!”
He takes a step closer to the camera, his voice rising in passion.
El Froggo: “Sombrio, you think you are a shadow, but you are just a mistake. You think you can manipulate and intimidate everyone. You think you can leave a trail of chaos in your wake. But tonight, that trail ends! I lost to you before, but that was a mistake. It was a moment of weakness. Tonight, I will prove that experience, heart, and the passion of the crowd still matter in this ring! Tonight, I am not just a frog—I am a force of nature! And I will put you in your place, so you never, ever underestimate me or the spirit of lucha libre again!”
He turns and walks off, leaving a stunned Rosa Martinez and the television audience to process his fiery declaration.
Singles Match
El Froggo vs. Sombrio
The sinister, brooding theme music of Sombrio echoes through the Aztec Star Arena. The crowd boos loudly as he makes his ominous entrance, his demeanor exuding malevolence and disdain for the fans. The lights go out, and a single spotlight shines on the ring as Sombrio glides to the ring like a shadow. He stops and glares at the crowd, then gestures to his head, mocking the fans’ lack of intelligence.
Then, the festive, upbeat mariachi-rock fusion of El Froggo‘s theme music fills the arena. Green and yellow lights illuminate the crowd, and the fans erupt in cheers. Chants of his name fill the air. El Froggo hops theatrically down the ramp, slapping hands with fans and reveling in their support, his playful and vibrant personality on full display. He slides into the ring and gives a playful bow to the crowd, then stares down Sombrio. Sombrio stands motionless, his malevolent gaze fixed on El Froggo, unmoved by the crowd’s adoration.
The bell rings, and the match begins!
Carlos Ramirez: “What a contrast in styles and spirit, Javier. The veteran icon, El Froggo, against the ruthless Sombrio, who has no respect for tradition or honor.”
Javier Morales: “Sombrio won their first encounter, and he has a psychological advantage tonight. He’s looking to prove that the heart of a veteran is no match for his sinister, underhanded tactics.”
Sombrio immediately rushes El Froggo, catching him off guard with a quick clothesline that sends the veteran stumbling. Sombrio then begins a series of brutal stomps, aiming for El Froggo’s ribs. The crowd boos him mercilessly. El Froggo uses his quickness to roll away and deliver a lightning-fast Tadpole Kick to Sombrio’s leg. Sombrio is momentarily stunned, allowing El Froggo to hit a graceful Springboard Crossbody that sends Sombrio to the mat.
Carlos Ramirez: “That’s the veteran savvy right there! Using his opponent’s overconfidence against him!”
El Froggo starts to build momentum, using his agility to counter Sombrio’s power moves. He hits a perfect Ribbit Rana, a running hurricanrana, that sends Sombrio flipping over. Sombrio rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. El Froggo sees his opportunity, hitting the ropes and launching himself through them with a Lillypad Dive, taking out Sombrio on the outside! The crowd goes wild.
Javier Morales: “Unbelievable! The veteran can still fly with the best of them!”
El Froggo rolls Sombrio back into the ring and climbs to the top turnbuckle. The crowd roars as they anticipate the Frog Splash Deluxe. Sombrio, however, is a step ahead. He quickly gets to his feet and shoves the top rope, causing El Froggo to lose his balance and fall hard onto the turnbuckle. Sombrio then locks his opponent in a malevolent Sinister Submission , torquing El Froggo’s limbs in a painful and unnerving manner.
Carlos Ramirez: “Sombrio thrives on psychological torment! He’s not just trying to win; he’s trying to break El Froggo’s spirit!”
El Froggo manages to struggle to the ropes to force a break. Sombrio, frustrated, argues with the referee. As the official is distracted, Sombrio goes for a Juárez Jawbreaker with a fist full of tape, leaving El Froggo dazed and vulnerable. Sombrio then goes for his finish, a Shadow Strike, and locks in the Spinning Frankensteiner Whip.
Javier Morales: “There it is! The end is near for El Froggo!”
But wait! El Froggo, with a burst of adrenaline, somehow manages to reverse it into a clever pinfall attempt. Sombrio kicks out at two, but the momentum has shifted. Both men are exhausted. They trade blows in the center of the ring, but Sombrio’s brute force proves to be too much. He catches El Froggo with a vicious right hand, sending him to the mat. Sombrio quickly follows up, dropping down to make the cover. He grabs the ropes for extra leverage, and the referee, still dazed, doesn’t see it. One! Two! Three!
Carlos Ramirez: “What a tragedy! He used the ropes! That’s it, it’s over! He used the ropes!”
The crowd boos loudly as Sombrio’s theme music fills the arena. The referee, unaware of the foul, raises his hand in victory. Sombrio stands over the fallen El Froggo, his face twisted in a smug, victorious sneer.
Javier Morales: “He did it again. Two wins for Sombrio over the legendary El Froggo. It may not have been clean, but it was effective. It makes you wonder, Carlos, if we’re not heading for a third and final encounter between these two.”
Carlos Ramirez: “I certainly hope so. For the sake of honor, for the sake of the spirit of lucha libre, El Froggo deserves one more shot to prove that the villain will not prevail.”
Backstage
(Backstage, a large, well-equipped locker room. A handful of other wrestlers are visible in the background, but the focus is on a corner where Miguel “El Toro” Mendoza is lacing up his boots. Diego “El Martillo” Ortega is nearby, stretching, his face a mask of stoic concentration. Mendoza looks over at Ortega, a smirk playing on his lips.)
Miguel Mendoza: “All that hard work, eh, Martillo? All that amateur wrestling, all that MMA… you’ve built yourself a reputation. A tough guy. The kind of guy who doesn’t talk much because he lets his fists do the talking.”
(Ortega doesn’t respond, continuing to stretch. He rotates his shoulder with a deliberate, grinding motion.)
Miguel Mendoza: “But this isn’t the streets of Monterrey, is it? This is Lucha de Cinco Estrellas. It’s about more than just brute strength and a short temper. You’re all muscle and no flash. You’ve got the hammer, but you don’t know how to swing it for the cameras.”
(Mendoza stands up, towering over Ortega, and flexes his biceps, clearly showing off. He leans in closer, his voice dropping to a condescending whisper.)
Miguel Mendoza: “You need to learn how to play the game, amigo. The game of winning the hearts of the people, the game of bending the rules just enough to get the job done. You think violence and victory is all there is? I’m telling you, power and dominance speak louder than tradition. “
(Ortega finally stops stretching. He slowly rises to his full height, turning to face Mendoza. He doesn’t say a word. He simply stares into Mendoza’s eyes with an unblinking, cold intensity. Without breaking eye contact, he slowly flexes his own arm, a single, deliberate movement that makes the muscles ripple under his skin. The unspoken message is clear: he is more than enough. After a moment, he grunts dismissively, turns his back on Mendoza, and resumes his stretching. Mendoza’s smirk disappears, replaced with a look of silent rage as the camera holds on the intense, unspoken rivalry between the two men.)
Tag Team Match
Miguel “El Toro” Mendoza & Javier “El Diablo” Vega vs. Daniel Leslie & Fuego Azteca
The sound of The Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil” blasts through the speakers as Javier “El Diablo” Vega makes his entrance. The crowd immediately rains down boos. He’s joined by Miguel “El Toro” Mendoza, whose theme is the traditional folk song “El Son de la Negra”. The two stand side-by-side, but a visible tension hangs in the air between them, an uneasy alliance of two arrogant, ruthless men.
Their opponents are next. The lights flash with fiery red and yellow as Fuego Azteca makes his way to the ring, a passionate and charismatic presence. He is followed by Daniel Leslie, the British bruiser, whose music, Duran Duran’s “Girls on Film,” feels out of place but garners cheers from the crowd.
The match starts with Fuego Azteca and Javier Vega in the ring. Vega, a master manipulator, tries to get in Fuego’s head with trash talk. Fuego, however, is all fire and energy. He uses his high-flying style to confuse Vega, hitting a Guadalajara Guillotine, a lightning-fast springboard dropkick. Fuego makes the quick tag to Daniel Leslie.
Carlos Ramirez: “What a showcase of speed and agility by Fuego Azteca! He’s so fast, ‘El Diablo’ can’t even lay a hand on him!”
Javier Morales: “It’s all flash and no substance, Carlos. Vega is just biding his time. He’s a brawler with technical expertise, remember? He’ll wear him down.”
Daniel Leslie and Javier Vega go toe-to-toe with hard-hitting strikes. Leslie, the “Grimsby Bruiser,” lands a stiff Superkick to Vega’s chest. Vega stumbles back and quickly tags in his partner, Miguel Mendoza, who charges into the ring with the intensity of a bull. Leslie holds his own against the larger man, but Mendoza’s brute force and dirty tactics quickly take over. Mendoza, a power brawler, pushes Leslie to the corner and lands a series of stiff clotheslines, followed by a big boot to the face, a move he calls Rampage.
Mendoza drags Leslie to the center of the ring and tries to assert his dominance by using an underhanded maneuver. He goes for a cheap shot, but Leslie manages to evade it. Leslie, in a show of pure strength, lifts the much larger Mendoza onto his shoulders for a Spinebuster. As Leslie goes for the cover, Vega runs into the ring to break up the pin. The referee is distracted by Vega, who is arguing with him about the tag.
Carlos Ramirez: “See, Javier! The dirty tactics! They can’t do it clean!”
Mendoza capitalizes on the distraction. He looks to Javier, who gives him a subtle nod. The two, in a rare moment of unspoken teamwork, isolate Daniel Leslie in their corner. They take turns pounding on him, using quick tags to stay fresh and wear down their opponent. Leslie tries to fight back, but the numbers game is too much. Finally, Mendoza tags in Vega. Leslie, desperate, makes a last-ditch effort to get to his corner, but Vega grabs him and lifts him onto his shoulders for the Inferno Strike, a devastating spinning powerbomb.
But before he can deliver it, Mendoza grabs the referee’s attention, allowing Javier to drive Leslie’s head into the corner turnbuckle instead in a vicious Sinister Suplex. The camera pans to Mendoza, who gives a sly, satisfied smirk to his partner. With Leslie dazed, Vega drags him back to the center of the ring, where Mendoza tags himself back in. Mendoza lifts the helpless Leslie and delivers the Bull Rush, a powerful running clothesline that nearly decapitates his opponent.
One! Two! Three!
The bell rings as Mendoza makes the pin, and Javier Vega quickly slides into the ring to raise his partner’s hand in victory. The two stand tall, but they don’t celebrate together. They each stare at the other, a look of mutual respect mixed with a clear, unspoken rivalry.
Javier Morales: “Despite their differences, there’s no denying it—they are a cohesive, ruthless unit. They’ve figured out how to use each other’s strengths to get the job done.”
Carlos Ramirez: “But did you see that, Javier? Vega was so eager to get back in the ring after Mendoza hit that Bull Rush. He wanted the pin for himself. This isn’t a partnership; it’s a cold-blooded business transaction, and it’s a dangerous one to watch.”
Backstage
(The familiar modern southern rock anthem of Bronson Martinez fills the Aztec Star Arena. The crowd cheers as he walks confidently to the ring, his cowboy hat, boots, and bolo tie on full display. He steps through the ropes, takes off his hat, and holds it over his heart, acknowledging the crowd before taking a microphone. The cheers are loud, with some fans chanting “COWBOY!”)
Bronson Martinez: “Mexico City! (The crowd roars). It’s good to be back in the ring here at the Aztec Star Arena. I’ve been a part of Lucha de Cinco Estrellas for a while now, and in that time, I’ve had some wins and I’ve had some losses.”
(Bronson nods slowly, his face serious.)
Bronson Martinez: “And with every match, I learn something new. I learn about the heart of Lucha Libre, about the passion of these fans, and about the warrior spirit that lives in every single one of my opponents.”
(He pauses, letting the words sink in. He looks around the arena, making eye contact with the fans.)
Bronson Martinez: “I have all the respect in the world for this sport. But I want to make one thing clear: I am a man of the American West. I come from a place where you earn what you get, where you fight for every inch. And I brought that spirit with me to LdCE. My style—the ‘Modern Day Cowboy’ style—is a blend of power, grit, and hard work that this promotion has never seen before.”
(The crowd cheers in support. He points to his boots.)
Bronson Martinez: “I’m not here just to learn. I’m here to compete. I’m here to stand toe-to-toe with the best that Mexico has to offer. And if there’s anyone in that locker room who thinks they can outwork me, or outfight me, or prove that I don’t belong here, then I’m calling you out right now.”
(He lowers the microphone and holds it in his hand, looking around the stage. The crowd gets louder, anticipating a challenge.)
Bronson Martinez: “So, Relámpago! I’ve watched you. You’re fast, you’re charismatic, and you’re everything that Lucha Libre is about. So if you’re a warrior of light, then let’s see you shine against this cowboy! I want to test myself against you, mano a mano, and see if I have what it takes to hang with the electrifying spirit of Lucha Libre! What do you say?”
(Bronson Martinez stands in the center of the ring, hat in hand, a confident smile on his face as the crowd continues to chant his name.)
Single Match

The Aztec Star Arena & Casino is buzzing with anticipation for the next match, a women’s division debut for both luchadoras. The crowd’s cheers rise to a crescendo as the captivating music of Rosa “La Rosa Salvaje” Torres plays over the sound system. The camera captures Rosa’s fierce yet elegant demeanor as she makes her entrance, her fans showing their admiration for her empowering presence. The bell rings, and the match begins!
Carlos Ramirez: “What an incredible moment! Two of the brightest stars in the women’s lucha libre scene making their LdCE debut tonight! The crowd is absolutely captivated by these two!”
Javier Morales: “This is more than just a match, Carlos. This is a statement. Both of these women want to prove they are the foundation of this new women’s division, and their contrasting styles are a perfect clash.”
The two women start with a respectful handshake before locking up. Rosa, with her technical prowess , immediately gains the upper hand, transitioning into a series of rapid strikes. Gabriela, with the agility of a butterfly, counters with a graceful Resilience Roll-Up, but Rosa kicks out at two. The pace picks up, with both women showcasing their high-flying acrobatics.
Rosa takes control, delivering a powerful Monterrey Suplex that sends Gabriela flying across the ring. Rosa follows up with a lightning-fast Fierce Flower Kick that catches Gabriela off guard. Rosa looks for the finish, signaling for her Thorned Tornado. She goes to execute the spinning tornado DDT, but Gabriela expertly counters it.
Carlos Ramirez: “She read her like a book! That’s the intelligence of ‘La Mariposa’ right there!”
Javier Morales: “This is a chess match, and both are moving with incredible precision. But it’s Gabriela who has just found an opening.”
Gabriela seizes the moment, climbing the top rope. She looks out at the crowd, her face a mask of determination, and performs the breathtaking Puebla Plunge. Rosa rolls out of the way, narrowly avoiding impact. The two women scramble to their feet, trading fast-paced strikes. Gabriela gets the better of the exchange, dazing Rosa with a series of agile blows. She sees her opportunity and runs to the ropes.
As Rosa gets back to her feet, Gabriela launches off the top turnbuckle with a graceful and stunning top-rope hurricanrana and locks in her finisher, the Butterfly Bombshell. Rosa’s body is twisted in mid-air as Gabriela slams her to the canvas.
One! Two! Three!
The bell rings, and Gabriela’s music fills the arena as her hand is raised in victory. Both women are on the mat, exhausted, but Gabriela’s resilience and technical skill have earned her the win. She immediately goes over to Rosa and helps her to her feet. The two share a moment of mutual respect before embracing in the center of the ring, a show of true sportsmanship.
Carlos Ramirez: “What a match! A debut for the ages! Gabriela “La Mariposa” Rodriguez with the win, but both of these women proved they belong at the highest level of Lucha de Cinco Estrellas!”
Javier Morales: “The future is bright, Carlos. Tonight, the women’s division has officially arrived, and it’s full of talent, heart, and the kind of athleticism that defines this sport. I look forward to seeing more of both of these competitors in the future.”
Singles Match
‘The Modern Day Cowboy’ Bronson Martinez vs. Relampago
The electric theme music of Relámpago, ‘Electrifying Rhythms’, fills the Aztec Star Arena as the crowd erupts with cheers. Relámpago, a charismatic and high-energy luchador, makes his way to the ring, soaking in the admiration from his fans. He bounces into the ring, his energy captivating the audience.

Relámpago starts the match with a flurry of quick strikes and fluid movements, utilizing his high-flying style to confuse Martinez. He tries a
Toluca Tornado, a lightning-fast tornado DDT, but Martinez, with his power-based style, catches him mid-air and slams him to the mat with a powerful Stampede Slam.
Carlos Ramirez: “Bronson just grounded the bolt of lightning! That’s the power of the Cowboy!”
Javier Morales: “He said he was here to out-fight him, and so far, that’s exactly what he’s doing. He’s neutralizing Relámpago’s greatest strength: his speed.”
Martinez stays in control, using his size and strength to wear down Relámpago with a series of throws and rugged strikes. He hits a series of hard-hitting forearms to Relámpago’s chest. Relámpago tries to rally, but Martinez cuts him off with a thunderous
Dust Devil Spinebuster that shakes the ring.
Martinez climbs to the top turnbuckle, a rare move for a man his size. He goes for his Top Rope Flying Elbow Drop, but Relámpago, with a burst of agility, rolls out of the way. Martinez crashes to the mat. Relámpago sees his chance and hits a springboard moonsault, leaving Martinez dazed. Relámpago then signals for his finisher, the
Thunderstruck Splash. He climbs the ropes, soaring through the air with a breathtaking 450 splash.
One! Two! Martinez kicks out!
Carlos Ramirez: “How did he survive that?! The Warrior of Light’s finisher couldn’t put him away!”
Javier Morales: “That’s the toughness of the Cowboy, Carlos! He’s built to take a beating and keep fighting.”
Relámpago, frustrated, pulls Martinez to his feet. He tries to hit another aerial move, but Martinez ducks under it. He catches Relámpago by the arm, spins him around, and charges off the ropes. He delivers a brutal
Lone Star Lariat that nearly flips Relámpago inside out. The crowd gasps at the sheer force of the move. Martinez makes the cover.
One! Two! Three!

Carlos Ramirez: “A hard-fought victory for Bronson Martinez! He proved tonight that while the acrobatic style of Lucha Libre is beautiful, the power and grit of the Cowboy can prevail!”
Javier Morales: “He weathered the storm and came out on top. This win solidifies his place as a top competitor in LdCE. ‘The Modern Day Cowboy’ is here to stay.”
Ringside
The lights in the Aztec Star Arena dim as the entrance music of Alejandro Ramirez, “El Son de la Negra,” blares through the speakers. The crowd erupts in a chorus of boos as the powerful “Aztec Titan” makes his way to the ring, a look of frustration and disdain on his face. He grabs a microphone from the ring announcer, his imposing stature commanding attention.
Alejandro Ramirez: “Silence! You people are all the same, living in the past, celebrating outdated traditions while I, ‘The Mexican Colossus’, forge a new era! I am a dominant force in this ring. I am the future of Lucha de Cinco Estrellas. I am the main event! Yet, every single week, you chant for a ghost—for Sol Dorado!”
(Ramirez gestures to the entrance ramp with a furious sweep of his arm.)
Alejandro Ramirez: “Come out here, Sol Dorado! You hide behind your golden mask and your ‘heart and culture’ philosophy, but it’s all a lie! You represent a past that is weak and outdated! You cater to a fanbase that craves nostalgia instead of demanding excellence!”
Suddenly, the vibrant and spirited theme music of Sol Dorado, “Radiant Rhythms,” fills the arena. The crowd roars to life as Sol Dorado, the “Shining Star” , makes his way to the ring, his mask adorned with golden rays. He slides into the ring, takes a microphone, and stands with his back straight, his composure a stark contrast to Ramirez’s fury.
Sol Dorado: “You call me a ghost, Alejandro? I am no ghost. I am the heart and soul of Lucha Libre , and these fans are its lifeblood! You see tradition as a weakness, but I see it as a foundation. True champions don’t just dominate; they represent something bigger than themselves.”
(Ramirez scoffs, shaking his head in disbelief.)
Alejandro Ramirez: “Save your speeches, Dorado. The truth is, you can’t hang with me in the ring. You’re a showman, a circus act for the masses, while I am a wrestler. I am a machine of raw power and brute force. I am the ‘Aztec Titan’, and you’re just a glimmer!”
Sol Dorado: “A glimmer is all it takes to cast a shadow on your darkness, Alejandro. You want to see if I can hang with you? You want to know if I am a true champion? Then stop talking and give me a place to prove it. I know ‘Cima de las Estrellas’ is just eight weeks away.”
(Ramirez’s eyes widen slightly at the mention of the pay-per-view, a wicked grin spreading across his face. He nods slowly.)
Alejandro Ramirez: “You want a challenge? You want to put your ‘soul’ on the line? Fine, Sol Dorado. At ‘Cima de las Estrellas’, you will face me, and you will learn that there is no heart and no soul that can stand up to pure, undeniable power!”
(Sol Dorado steps forward, his voice firm and unwavering.)
Sol Dorado: “Then it’s settled. At ‘Cima de las Estrellas,’ I will fight for the soul of LdCE, and I will prove that in this ring, honor and respect will always triumph over arrogance and hatred!”
Ramirez raises his microphone and smashes it to the ground. The two men stand in the middle of the ring, staring each other down as the crowd roars in anticipation.
Singles Match
Espectro vs. Mateo “El Guerrero de Luz” Sandoval
The ominous theme music of Espectro, “Eclipsed Darkness,” fills the Aztec Star Arena as the crowd boos loudly, creating an atmosphere of tension and disdain. Espectro, the cunning and mysterious champion, makes his way to the ring, reveling in the crowd’s hatred. He holds the Estrella Suprema Championship high in the air, a malevolent sneer on his face.
The champion’s theme cuts out, and a wave of cheers washes over the arena as “Luz Brillante” announces the entrance of Mateo “El Guerrero de Luz” Sandoval. Mateo, an honorable and valiant luchador, radiates positive energy as he makes his way to the ring, embodying the principles of justice and courage.
The referee holds the championship high for all to see, a reminder of what is at stake, even if the title isn’t on the line tonight. The bell rings, and the match is underway!
Carlos Ramirez: “The main event of Revolución 31 is finally here! A battle of light versus shadow! The valiant Mateo “El Guerrero de Luz” Sandoval against the sinister champion, Espectro!”
Javier Morales: “Espectro has held that title for a long time, Carlos. He is a master of mind games and underhanded tactics. Mateo will have to stay one step ahead of him to even have a chance.”
The match begins with a quick, technical exchange. Mateo, with his high-flying style, tries to use his speed to his advantage, but Espectro, focusing on cunning strategies and dirty tricks, quickly cuts him off. Espectro uses a series of brutal strikes and a well-placed eye poke while the referee is distracted to gain the upper hand. He then goes to work on Mateo, wearing him down with a relentless assault.
Espectro, with a smirk on his face, locks Mateo in a Sinister Submission, torquing his opponent’s limbs in a painful and unnerving manner, adding to the psychological torment. Mateo struggles, but fueled by the cheers of the crowd, he manages to power out of the hold. He counters with a Luminescent Lock, showcasing his wrestling prowess while maintaining his commitment to fair play.
The momentum swings back and forth as both men put their bodies on the line. Mateo hits a breathtaking springboard tornado DDT, the Oaxaca Orbit, leaving Espectro in awe. Mateo then climbs to the top turnbuckle and executes his dazzling Radiant Ray, a corkscrew shooting star press. He goes for the cover, but Espectro kicks out at two!
Carlos Ramirez: “Espectro is still in this! How?!”
Javier Morales: “The champion is nothing if not resilient, Carlos. He is a master of staying in a match, no matter what it takes.”
Frustrated, Mateo drags Espectro to his feet, but the champion delivers a sudden low blow while the referee’s attention is diverted, a Shadow Strike. Mateo crumbles to the mat, stunned and in pain. Espectro, the cunning heel, looks at the audience and smiles, then pulls Mateo to his feet and locks in his finisher, the Spectral Chokehold. He cuts off Mateo’s air supply, and with nowhere to go, Mateo taps out!
The bell rings, and the referee pulls Espectro off of Mateo. The crowd boos loudly as Espectro is handed the Estrella Suprema Championship. He raises it high in the air and stares down at Mateo’s prone body, his malevolent aura casting a shadow over the ring. Espectro leaves the ring to a thunderous chorus of boos, the show ending with the sinister champion standing victorious at the top of the ramp, his hand raised in triumph.
Carlos Ramirez: “He did it again. By any means necessary, he won the match. Espectro continues to cast a shadow over this promotion. It’s truly a clash of light against shadows, and tonight, the shadows prevailed.”
Javier Morales: “He may have won, but he didn’t win over the hearts of the people. Espectro may be the champion, but Mateo is still the hero.”
