The Pre show

The atmosphere inside the Stratford Arena has reached a fever pitch. It is New Year’s Eve, and while the rest of London prepares for fireworks, the Sanctioned Violence Network is about to crown a king.

EWL Night 3: The Grand Finale – Live from London

SOFIA PETROVA: “Good evening, Europe, and a very Happy New Year’s Eve! I am Sofia Petrova, and tonight we are broadcasting live from a sold-out Stratford Arena for the final night of the 2025 European Wrestling League.

As 2025 draws to a close, seven men have reached their absolute physical limit. After two nights of grueling competition, the bruises have set in, the tape is wrapped tighter, and the stakes could not be higher. Tonight, we find out who has the endurance to survive the final two matches of the league and etch their name into history alongside Adam Garcia.”

The Championship Equation

SOFIA PETROVA: “The leaderboard is a powder keg. We have a tie at the top between the hometown hero, Oliver Harrington, and the ‘Berlin Apex,’ Wolfgang Schneider. Both sit at 6 points.

However, the ‘Chasing Four’—Rochefort, O’Donovan, De Raaf, and Anderson—all sit at 4 points. If the leaders stumble even once tonight, any of these four could force a tiebreak or steal the crown at the finish line! It is mathematically possible for almost everyone to walk away with the trophy tonight.”

The Final Gauntlet: Tonight’s Match Card

BoutThe MatchupThe Championship Implications
1Mateusz Nowak (POL) vs. Wolfgang Schneider (GER)Schneider needs a win to maintain his share of the lead. Nowak fights for pride.
2Alexandre Rochefort (FRA) vs. Stijn De Raaf (HOL)A must-win for both. The loser is officially eliminated from trophy contention.
3Alfred Anderson (SWE) vs. Oliver Harrington (ENG)The UK Champion faces a surging Anderson, who won both his matches last night.
4Liam O’Donovan (IRE) vs. Alfred Anderson (SWE)Two 4-point fighters clash; only the victor stays in the hunt for the final round.
5Wolfgang Schneider (GER) vs. Liam O’Donovan (IRE)Schneider’s final match. Will the German Heavyweight Champion finish at 10 points?
6Stijn De Raaf (HOL) vs. Mateusz Nowak (POL)The Dutch standout’s final opportunity to climb the leaderboard.
7Oliver Harrington (ENG) vs. Alexandre Rochefort (FRA)The Potential Decider. If the points are tied, this match could determine the winner.

Sofia’s Final Outlook

“The pressure on Oliver Harrington tonight is immense. He closed Night 1 as the favorite, but after losing to Schneider last night, he is in a dogfight. He starts against a red-hot Alfred Anderson and ends against the technical master, Alexandre Rochefort.

On the other side, Wolfgang Schneider has a path to victory, but he must get past Liam O’Donovan, a man who has already proven he can play the spoiler. One mistake tonight, and the dream of the 2025 title is over.”

SOFIA PETROVA: “The champagne is on ice, but there is nothing but blood, sweat, and tears in that ring tonight. Seven men, seven matches, and one champion.

The first bell is about to ring. Let’s head to the ring for Poland versus Germany! It’s the final night of the EWL!”

EWL Night 3: Official Post-Show Wrap-Up

SOFIA PETROVA: “Europe, we have our champion! I am Sofia Petrova, and tonight we have witnessed a New Year’s Eve masterclass in endurance. Seven men pushed themselves to the absolute limit, but as the dust settles in London, the mathematics of the league have spoken.

It came down to a dead heat at the top of the table. Both England’s Oliver Harrington and Germany’s Wolfgang Schneider finished this grueling tournament with a massive 10 points each. However, there can only be one winner. Because Wolfgang Schneider defeated Oliver Harrington in their head-to-head clash on Night 2, the trophy is heading to Berlin!”

The Trophy Presentation

SOFIA PETROVA: “The Stratford Arena is in a state of shock, but the rules are absolute. To present the 2025 European Wrestling League Trophy, please welcome the owner of the Sanctioned Violence Network—Jon Page!”

Jon Page enters the ring. DW UK Champion Oliver Harrington is standing in the corner, looking absolutely livid, arguing with the referee that he should win because of his “star power.” Page ignores him and walks straight to the current German Heavyweight Champion.

JON PAGE: “Wolfgang, they call you the ‘Berlin Brute’ for a reason. You came into London, you took on the hometown hero, and you beat him man-to-man when it mattered most. You are a fighting champion, and tonight, you are the king of Europe. Congratulations!”

Page hands the trophy to Schneider. The German powerhouse lifts it with a roar, the silver glinting under the arena lights as Harrington storms out of the ring in a fit of rage, kicking a water bottle into the crowd.

SOFIA PETROVA: “Wolfgang Schneider has silenced the London crowd! The Berlin Brute is your 2025 European Wrestling League Champion! From all of us at the Sanctioned Violence Network, Happy New Year!”
