Monday Night Destruction (Date: 24th December 2001)
Superdome, LA.
There’s something about wrestling…
( The scene opens up in a hotel. “The Enigma” Chris Cage can be seen walking about in the lobby, as other EWF wrestlers can also be seen. A few moments later, Cage approaches the receptionist… )
Chris Cage
Is my room ready yet?
Receptionist
Not yet, sir. You’ll have to wait until the guests checks out, which is about 1.30. Why don’t you take a seat?
Chris Cage
Alright.
( Cage walks over to the couch in the lobby area, and takes a seat. A while later, Rick Young approaches Cage. )
Rick Young
Mr. Cage, I’d like to have an interview with you, if you don’t mind.
Chris Cage
Sure, why not.
Rick Young
You have a big match this coming monday. Havoc will be defending his EWF World Heavyweight title against you. What are your thoughts on this match?
Chris Cage
Well, it depends. If the EWF owner, Jon Storm doesn’t pull anything out of this one, I might just win it. But then again, I doubt Mr. Storm has nothing in mind for this match. He’s probably gonna ask Agent Orange to come down and interfere in the match. But I ain’t going down that easily, remember.. I have the “SeRiAl ThRiLlA” on my side.
Rick Young
Okay. Jon Storm has said that he sees you as a wrestler with potential, and you might be champion one day. What do you have to say about that?
Chris Cage
A wrestler with potential? Heck, I’m the best the EWF has to offer. Deep down inside, Jon Storm knows.. I’m better than Havoc. And he says only Havoc can lead the EWF.. that’s a load of crap. What you need as a leader of the EWF is someone with more charisma and skills.. and “The Enigma” is just that.
Rick Young
Jon Storm and Agent Orange cost you the match last monday. Don’t you think they’d do the same this coming monday?
Chris Cage
Like I said, they can do what they want, but I’m not going down without a fight. Rick, do you remember how wrestling was ten years ago?
Rick Young
Yes, I do.
Chris Cage
Ten years ago, wrestling was so much different from today. There was no interviews, no thrash talking and no wrestling politics. There was only good old fashioned wrestling. But now, it’s changed. It seems that it’s all about the money. Wrestling promotions seek the dirtiest way just to win the ratings war. And even owners getting involved to decide the outcome of a match by screwing other wrestlers. How much are wrestlers paid nowadays? A matter of millions a year. Back in the old days, you wrestle for your money. If you win a match, you get your money.. if you lose, too bad. But look at it now, wrestlers are paid even if they only talk in the ring. Girls stripping in the ring, is considered normal. I mean, where has the sportsmanship of wrestling gone? I mean, using steel chairs to win a match.. that’s not wrestling. I’ve been in this biz for over ten years, and I’ve seen how wrestling has changed. My blood and sweat in those ten years.. only to be ruined by a steel chair to the head. I’ve been wrestling for all these years, because I want to. I’ve been wrestling in this biz because I love it, not because of the money. You see Jon Storm, I’m trying to tell you something. I’m trying to tell you what wrestling is all about.. and it’s definitely not about screwing other wrestlers by hitting them in the head with a chair. Come monday, I’ll show you what wrestling is all about. I’ll show you what exactly is the blood and sweat of a real champion. I’ll show you why I am better than anyone else in this business. Even if I have to face you,Agent Orange and Havoc in the ring.. I’ll do it. Even if I have to fight off the whole god damn EWF roster, I’ll do it. At least, I’ll try. And I won’t go down without a fight. Jon Storm, Havoc and Agent Orange.. you all can bring your asses down to the ring this monday.. I don’t care. I’ll take you all down, and I’ll do it by myself if I have to. And it all comes down to the fact that “The Enigma” is indeed better than anyone else,THAT’S ALL!
( Cage motions for Rick to leave, as Rick does. Cage goes to the counter, as the scene slowly fades to black. )

~Rick Young is in the middle of the ring as the EWF comes back from a commercial~
Rick Young: Will you please welcome out CHOOCH!
~Fans boo as the lights go out and I’m Coming begins to play. Suddenly BOOM! pyro goes off from the stage, the lights come back on, and Chooch is standing on the stage with his International title around his waist. Chooch has a Black jumpsuit on, a black wave cap and his customary red timberlands on. He walks to the ring as the fans boo him. He slides into the ring and throws his hands up as pyro goes off from all four turnbuckles. Then Chooch goes and stands beside Rick smiling.~
Rick: Well thanks for giving us this time to ask a few questions. My first is…..
~Chooch pulls the mic from Rick’s hand and begins to speak.~
Chooch: Just because I gave the EWF interview time doesn’t mean I will conduct this interview with you so get out.
Rick leaves the ring and sits at the announcer table.
Chooch: Now who should conduct this interview: Stacy Wright… nah she is a tramp and doesn’t deserve to be in the same ring. How about Mr. Tim Smith…nah I never did like him… Jon you really need to get some new interviewers but anyway. Since none of the EWF interviewers are worthy of conducting an interview with me, I will conduct my own interview.
Fan boo as Chooch puts his title on his shoulder.
Chooch:First I would like to address this match later tonight. It is a tag team title match in which The Gods of Excellence will take on Spam and Wiper. Now this will be a good match because it has the Epitome of Excellence in it.
The fans boo at Chooch’s cockiness.
Chooch: Now me and Chambers should take the titles unless one of us gets struck with lightning or someone interfers, someone like Spiker. But other than that we will give the tag champs a great run. Now I know you must really be mad at me and Chambers for what happened at Taco Bell… well the only reason we did that was because we want you at your best so that you guys can give us a challenge. So I will see you two monkeys in the ring later.
Fans are still booing
Chooch: Next thing is Adam Striker you seem to want to pick a fight with Chooch well thats cool, because January’s pay per view is called Breakdown and I would love nothing better than the chance to breakdown any dream you had of beating me or taking this title.
Chooch points to his title that is now on his shoulder.
Chooch: So Striker if you like the idea just let me know and it will be done.
Last order of business is that earlier this week I talked to the former tag champs Peters and Thomas and they told me that they have decided to stop wrestling to pursue other things so since we have no back up against the resolution and me and Chambers hate it when people get jumped from behind and no one is there to help..
Chooch starts to laugh a little as the crowd boos even louder, so much that Chooch has to pause a second.
Chooch: But anyway I would love for someone to keep an eye on that weasel Spiker and I think I have the right guy. This guy is new to the EWF and frankly I think is is a great wrestler and I love his attitude towards pu$$ies like Baby Bulldog and Master of Puppets. So this guy would be none other than newcomer Mike Lazarus. So as of this moment I am offering a chance to you Mike to be apart of the best group in the EWF today: The Gods of Excellence. Now Mike you dont have to answer now, just think about it and get back to me or Chambers. I’m Out.
~Chooch throws the mic back to Rick Young who is still sitting at the annoucers table. Chooch slides under the bottom rope to the floor and walks to the back to a chorus of boos.~
