sVo Showdown 195
Live on the HOTv Network
Goodfellas Casino Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
1st September 2024

The camera pans across the packed Goodfellas Casino Arena on the iconic Las Vegas Strip, capturing the electric energy of the sVo fans. Bright lights flash, and the sVo logo glows on the giant screens as the crowd roars in anticipation. The camera cuts to the ringside area where the commentary team, Julian Fiasco and Jeremiah Sloan, are ready to kick off the show.

Julian Fiasco: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to sVo Showdown 195! We are coming to you live from the Goodfellas Casino Arena in the heart of Las Vegas, and what a night we have in store! I’m Julian Fiasco, alongside my partner Jeremiah Sloan, and if you thought the action at the Jackpot PPV was wild, just wait until you see what we’ve got lined up tonight!”

Jeremiah Sloan: “That’s right, Julian! We are just one week removed from Jackpot, and the landscape of sVo has completely changed! Curtis Knight is now the number one contender for the sVo Championship after winning that brutal 30-man battle royal! Johnny All Star is still our sVo Champion, but only after a shocking twist that saw Night return and cost his own brother, Nightmare, the title!”

Julian Fiasco: “And let’s not forget, Johnny Dorn shocked the world by defeating Carlos Vasquez to become the new Las Vegas Champion! Dorn is riding high, and you’ve got to wonder what’s next for him after such a huge victory.”

Jeremiah Sloan: “Not to mention, the Legends Club had a massive night at Jackpot, with Curtis Knight winning the battle royal which also featured a strong showing from Athena, along with Buzz Marshall and Drew Hendrix, capturing the sVo Tag Team Championships by defeating Generation Joint! The Legends Club is stronger than ever, and they’re looking to continue their dominance tonight!”

The camera cuts to highlights from the Jackpot PPV, showcasing Curtis Knight’s victory in the battle royal, Johnny All Star retaining the sVo Championship after Night’s interference, Johnny Dorn celebrating with the Las Vegas Championship, and the Legends Club standing tall with their newly won tag titles. The crowd’s reaction is a mix of cheers and boos as the highlights play.

Julian Fiasco: “Tonight, we’re going to see the fallout from all that chaos, but that’s not all, folks! We’re also kicking off the Victory Cup tournament! 32 of the best wrestlers in sVo will compete in a knockout format, and only one will walk away with the prestigious Victory Cup!”

Jeremiah Sloan: “Six first-round matches are on the card tonight, and the one I’m most looking forward to is Athena of the Legends Club taking on Gunner Lang of Generation Joint! You know Gunner’s looking for some payback after what happened at Jackpot!”

Julian Fiasco: “It’s going to be a night full of intense action, high stakes, and no doubt some surprises along the way! Who will advance in the Victory Cup? What’s next for the new champions? And what will Curtis Knight have to say now that he’s got his shot at the sVo Championship?”

Jeremiah Sloan: “Strap in, folks, because sVo Showdown 195 is about to get underway! Let’s head to the ring and get this night started!”

The camera cuts to the ring where the first match of the evening is about to begin, the excitement in the arena palpable as the show kicks off.

Ringside
Domination

The arena lights dim as the familiar, menacing music of the Legends Club begins to play. The crowd erupts in a mixture of boos and jeers as Curtis Knight leads Athena, Drew Hendrix, and Buzz Marshall down the ramp. The group exudes confidence, with Knight at the forefront, his intense gaze locked on the ring. Athena walks with a swagger, while Hendrix and Marshall proudly carry their newly won sVo Tag Team Championships on their shoulders. The quartet steps into the ring, where Knight takes the microphone as the music fades out, leaving only the sound of the crowd’s discontent.

Julian Fiasco: “Here they are, Jeremiah—the Legends Club, and they’ve got to be feeling unstoppable after what they accomplished at Jackpot!”

Jeremiah Sloan: “They’ve certainly backed up their words with actions, Julian. They ran Blood Money out of town, and now they’re holding gold. What more could they want?”

Curtis Knight, with a sinister grin on his face, raises the microphone to his lips as the crowd’s boos intensify.

Curtis Knight: “You can all boo and hiss all you want, but the fact remains—The Legends Club is the most dominant force in the sVo today! We’ve proven it time and time again, and at Jackpot, we showed the world just how powerful we are!”

Knight pauses, letting the boos wash over him, feeding off the negative energy from the crowd.

Curtis Knight: “Last month, we ran Blood Money out of town. They thought they could stand in our way, but now they’re just a footnote in the history of the Legends Club. And at Jackpot? We didn’t just show up—we took over!”

The camera zooms in on Drew Hendrix and Buzz Marshall, who proudly display their sVo Tag Team Championships, soaking in the moment of glory.

Curtis Knight: “You see these titles on the shoulders of Drew Hendrix and Buzz Marshall? This is just the beginning! The Legends Club isn’t here to play games—we’re here to take what we want, when we want it. And nobody can stop us!”

Hendrix and Marshall each take a turn holding their belts high, taunting the crowd with their victory. Athena stands confidently by Knight’s side, her eyes gleaming with determination.

Curtis Knight: “But we’re not done yet. Oh no, far from it. You see, the Victory Cup tournament is just getting started, and you better believe that Athena here is going to tear through the competition like a knife through butter. She’s going to take that cup, and prove once again why the Legends Club is untouchable!”

Athena steps forward, smirking at the camera as the crowd continues to voice their displeasure. Knight’s tone grows more menacing as he continues.

Curtis Knight: “And as for me? Well, I earned my shot at the sVo Championship by outlasting twenty nine other men in that battle royal. Johnny All Star, you better be listening, because I’m coming for that title of yours. You’ve been hiding behind your little victories for too long, but your time is up. I’ve got a date with destiny, and there isn’t a damn thing you or anyone else can do about it!”

The crowd erupts in boos, but Knight stands firm, unfazed by the hostility. The Legends Club members nod in agreement, their confidence unshaken.

Julian Fiasco: “Strong words from Curtis Knight! He’s got his eyes set on Johnny All Star and the sVo Championship, and I don’t think anything’s going to stand in his way! All Star has got to be seriously regretting bringing the Legends Club into the sVo at this point, Blood Money was bad, but it seems that the cure for them was even worse!”

Jeremiah Sloan: “The Legends Club has all the momentum right now, Julian. If I were Johnny All Star, I’d be looking over my shoulder because Curtis Knight is coming, and he’s not coming alone!”

Knight lowers the microphone and takes a step back, gesturing for the others to join him as they pose in the center of the ring. Hendrix and Marshall hold their tag titles high, Athena flexes her muscles, and Knight stands tall, raising a fist to symbolize their unity and power. The Legends Club’s music hits once again as the screen fades to black, the last image being the dominant force standing proud, ready to take over sVo.

Backstage
Fired up for Victory

The scene opens backstage at the Goodfellas Casino Arena, where sVo interviewer Katie Smith stands with a microphone in hand, ready to speak with one of sVo’s rising stars. The camera pans to reveal Victor Holland standing beside her, his youthful energy and determination evident despite the recent setback at the Jackpot PPV. The popular young star wears a focused expression as he adjusts his ring gear, ready for the night ahead.

Katie Smith: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Victor Holland. Victor, last week at the Jackpot PPV, you had an incredible match against Alex Sterling. It was one of the most talked-about matches of the night, but unfortunately, you came up just short. Can you tell us how you’re feeling after that tough loss?”

Victor Holland takes a deep breath before responding, his eyes filled with a mixture of reflection and resolve.

Victor Holland: “Katie, that match with Alex Sterling was everything I expected it to be—fast-paced, hard-hitting, and a real test of what I’m capable of. I gave it everything I had, but in the end, Sterling was just a little bit better on that night. It’s tough, no doubt about it, to come so close and not get the win, but I’m not the kind of guy who dwells on the past.”

He pauses for a moment, the determination in his voice growing stronger.

Victor Holland: “I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again—I’m here to prove that I belong with the best in sVo. That loss only makes me hungrier to get back in that ring and show everyone what I’m really made of. So yeah, it stings, but it’s also motivation. Motivation to get better, to push harder, and to make sure that the next time I’m in a big match like that, I come out on top.”

Katie Smith: “Speaking of bouncing back, you’re set to kick off your journey in the Victory Cup tournament later tonight. Your first-round opponent is none other than the ‘O-Town Outlaw,’ Scott Washington, a dangerous competitor who’s known for his ruthless style. What’s your mindset going into this match?”

Victor’s expression hardens slightly at the mention of Washington, but there’s a spark of excitement in his eyes as well.

Victor Holland: “Scott Washington is as tough as they come, no doubt about it. He’s dangerous, he’s ruthless, and he’ll do whatever it takes to win. But Katie, that’s exactly the kind of challenge I thrive on. I know what’s at stake in the Victory Cup. This tournament is a chance for me to show everyone that I can not only hang with the best but that I can beat them too.”

He clenches his fists, his intensity palpable.

Victor Holland: “Washington might be an outlaw, but tonight, I’m going to be the law in that ring. I’m going to bring the fight to him, I’m going to dig deep, and I’m going to do whatever it takes to advance in this tournament. The Victory Cup is my chance to bounce back from last week and get one step closer to proving that I’m ready for the next level here in sVo. Washington better be ready, because I’m coming at him with everything I’ve got.”

Katie Smith: “It sounds like you’re ready to leave it all in the ring tonight. Best of luck to you, Victor, in your match against Scott Washington, and in your pursuit of the Victory Cup.”

Victor nods with determination, offering a small but confident smile before heading off toward the locker rooms to prepare for his match.

Katie Smith: “There you have it, folks. Victor Holland, focused and fired up for his Victory Cup match later tonight. Can he overcome the dangerous Scott Washington and start his tournament journey on the right foot? We’ll find out soon enough!”

The camera fades out as Katie Smith sends it back to ringside, where the excitement for the night’s events continues to build.

Tired Of Coming Up Short

The scene opens inside the Generation Joint locker room, where the air is thick with tension. The usually vibrant and energetic atmosphere has been replaced with a somber mood, as the members of the group sit around, each lost in their own thoughts. Kenneth D Williams, always the optimist and leader, stands at the center of the room, trying to rally the troops after a series of tough losses. Jay Adder, who’s nursing a minor injury from his recent matches, sits on one side of the room, while Gunner Lang leans against the wall, arms crossed, his expression a mix of frustration and disappointment.

Kenneth D Williams: “Alright, guys, I know things haven’t been going our way lately. We’ve hit a rough patch, but this ain’t the end of the road for Generation Joint! We’ve all been through ups and downs, and you know we always bounce back stronger.”

Williams paces the room, his voice filled with the kind of infectious energy that’s kept the group together through thick and thin.

Kenneth D Williams: “And listen, I get it, we’ve had some tough breaks. Losing the Tag Team titles, coming up short in the Jackpot Rumble—it stings. But let’s not forget who we are. We’re Generation Joint, damn it! And you know what? We’ve got something big right in front of us—the Victory Cup!”

He looks around the room, trying to gauge the reactions of his teammates. Jay Adder nods slowly, his eyes showing a flicker of hope, but Gunner Lang remains stone-faced, staring at the ground.

Kenneth D Williams: “We’ve got four out of thirty-two spots in that tournament. That’s a 4/32 chance of one of us taking home that cup! That’s something to get excited about, something to fight for! We need to go out there and remind everyone why Generation Joint is a force to be reckoned with!”

Jay Adder finally speaks up, his voice quiet but determined.

Jay Adder: “Ken’s right. We can’t let a few losses define us. We’ve been through worse. The Victory Cup is our chance to turn things around. I’m in.”

Kenneth D Williams nods, his smile widening as he sees Jay starting to get on board. But when he looks at Gunner Lang, he can tell that something’s still not right.

Kenneth D Williams: “Gunner, what do you say? You with us, man?”

Gunner Lang sighs deeply, finally pushing himself off the wall. He looks at Williams, his frustration clear in his eyes.

Gunner Lang: “Ken, I appreciate the pep talk, but I’m tired, man. Tired of coming up short, tired of watching everything we’ve worked for slip away. We were on top, and now it feels like we’re just… struggling to keep up.”

The room goes quiet, the weight of Lang’s words hanging in the air. Before anyone can respond, Lang’s iPhone buzzes loudly, breaking the silence. He pulls it out of his pocket, glances at the screen, and his expression darkens even further.

Gunner Lang: “I’ve got to take this.”

Without another word, Lang turns and walks out of the locker room, leaving Williams and Adder to exchange worried glances. The door closes behind him, and the mood in the room dips back into uncertainty.

Jay Adder: “You think he’s gonna be okay?”

Williams rubs the back of his neck, trying to stay positive despite the situation.

Kenneth D Williams: “I don’t know, man. But we’ve got to stay focused. We’ve all got matches to prepare for, and we need to bring our A-game. Gunner will come around. He always does.”

Adder nods again, though the concern in his eyes is still evident. The camera lingers on the two men, their determination mixed with the tension of the unknown, before slowly fading to black, leaving the fate of Generation Joint hanging in the balance.

Backstage
Another Call…

The scene opens backstage at the Goodfellas Casino Arena, where sVo interviewer Katie Smith stands ready with a microphone in hand. Next to her is the reigning sVo Champion, Johnny All Star, who despite his championship gold, doesn’t carry the usual swagger that fans have come to expect. There’s a noticeable tension in his posture, and a hint of unease in his eyes. Katie offers him a warm smile as the camera zooms in.

Katie Smith: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the sVo Champion, Johnny All Star. Johnny, first off, congratulations on your victory at the Jackpot PPV last week. You managed to retain your title against Nightmare, but it wasn’t without controversy. Night, the brother of Nightmare, made his shocking return and ended up costing his own brother the match. How are you feeling after such an unexpected turn of events?”

Johnny All Star adjusts the championship belt on his shoulder, his eyes briefly dropping to the floor before meeting Katie’s gaze. His voice, though steady, lacks the usual confidence.

Johnny All Star: “Thanks, Katie. To be honest, that match didn’t go the way I thought it would. Nightmare’s a monster in the ring, and I knew I was in for the fight of my life. When Night showed up… I don’t even know how to describe it. Relief, shock, confusion—it was all there. I’m grateful that I’m still the sVo Champion, but there’s a part of me that’s still trying to process what happened. I didn’t expect to win that way, and it doesn’t sit right with me, you know? I should’ve been able to do it on my own.”

Katie nods, sensing the internal conflict Johnny is experiencing. She moves on to her next question, which only seems to deepen the tension in the champ’s expression.

Katie Smith: “Looking forward, you’ve got another huge challenge ahead of you. Curtis Knight, after winning the Jackpot Rumble, has earned the right to face you for the sVo Championship. But unlike before, you’re going to be facing him alone, and he’s got the Legends Club—Athena, Drew Hendrix, and Buzz Marshall—in his corner. How do you feel about going up against such a formidable force?”

Johnny takes a deep breath, his hand unconsciously tightening around the belt. The confident smirk that usually accompanies his words is noticeably absent.

Johnny All Star: “Curtis Knight is no joke, Katie. The guy’s got a mean streak a mile wide, and with the Legends Club backing him up, he’s even more dangerous. I’ve been in this business long enough to know that when you’re outnumbered, you’re at a serious disadvantage. And right now, it feels like I’m on an island, with nowhere to turn.”

He pauses, glancing around as if expecting someone to jump out at any moment.

Johnny All Star: “It’s not the first time I’ve had my back against the wall, but this… this feels different. I know what Curtis is capable of, and I know what the Legends Club has already done. They’re hungry, they’re ruthless, and they’re gunning for me. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried. But I’m still the champion, and I’ll do whatever it takes to stay the champion, even if that means going into this fight alone.”

Katie senses the weight of his words and decides to address the elephant in the room.

Katie Smith: “Johnny, you were instrumental in bringing the Legends Club to the sVo. Given everything that’s happened, do you regret that decision?”

For the first time in the interview, Johnny’s expression hardens, a flash of regret and frustration crossing his face. He seems to wrestle with his thoughts before responding.

Johnny All Star: “Do I regret it? Every damn day, Katie. When I brought them in, I thought I was making a power move, aligning myself with the best to stay on top. But now, I’m the one with a target on my back, and the very people I brought in are coming after me. I didn’t see this coming, and it’s a hard pill to swallow knowing that I might have set this all in motion.”

As Johnny finishes speaking, his iPhone suddenly rings, the sound cutting through the tension like a knife. He glances at the screen, and his expression darkens further. Without a word, he turns to Katie, giving her an apologetic look.

Johnny All Star: “Sorry, Katie, I’ve got to take this.”

He quickly steps away, leaving Katie standing alone as he exits the frame. The camera lingers on Katie for a moment before she turns back to the camera, her expression a mix of concern and curiosity.

Katie Smith: “There you have it, folks. The sVo Champion, Johnny All Star, clearly feeling the pressure as he heads into what could be the toughest battle of his career. With the Legends Club on the rise and Curtis Knight in line for a title shot, the champ’s got a lot on his plate. We’ll have to see how this all plays out in the coming weeks.”

The segment ends with Katie sending it back to ringside, as the intrigue surrounding Johnny All Star and the sVo Championship continues to build.

Expect More

The scene cuts to the backstage area of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, where sVo interviewer Katie Smith is standing by. Next to her is the former Las Vegas Champion, Carlos Vasquez, who exudes an aura of confidence despite his recent loss. Dressed in an immaculate suit with a red pocket square, Vasquez has a smirk on his face that reflects his “Scarface” persona. Katie, holding the microphone, turns to address the camera.

Katie Smith: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the former Las Vegas Champion, Carlos Vasquez. Carlos, last week at the Jackpot PPV, you lost your Las Vegas Championship to Johnny Dorn in what many are calling one of the most hard-fought battles of the night. How are you feeling about that loss, and what’s next for Carlos Vasquez?”

Vasquez’s smirk doesn’t falter, though a glint of anger flashes in his eyes as Katie mentions the loss. He adjusts his suit jacket, taking a moment before responding in a smooth, yet menacing tone.

Carlos Vasquez: “Katie, let me make one thing clear—Johnny Dorn may have walked out with my title, but that doesn’t mean he’s better than me. No, no… it just means he got lucky, and luck has a way of running out. You see, the Las Vegas Championship was just one piece of the empire I’m building here in sVo. Dorn’s walking around with my gold, but it’s only a matter of time before that championship is back where it belongs—around the waist of the Miami Maverick.”

Katie nods, sensing the intensity behind his words, and moves on to the next topic.

Katie Smith: “Tonight, you’re set to compete in the first round of the Victory Cup tournament, and you’re facing Jay Adder of Generation Joint. With the stakes as high as they are, how confident are you in your chances of advancing, especially after the setback you experienced last week?”

Vasquez’s smirk broadens into a cold, calculating grin. He chuckles softly before leaning into the microphone, his voice dripping with confidence.

Carlos Vasquez: “Katie, setbacks are nothing but opportunities for comebacks. Jay Adder? He’s a tough guy, sure. Generation Joint—they’ve been around, made some noise. But tonight, he’s stepping into the ring with the Miami Maverick. And I don’t lose twice. This Victory Cup is my chance to remind everyone why I’m the most dangerous man in this company. Adder’s just the first in a long line of victims on my path to reclaim what’s mine. The Victory Cup? It’s not just a tournament, it’s the beginning of my revenge tour.”

Katie leans in slightly, sensing the determination behind Vasquez’s words.

Katie Smith: “So, we can expect to see the same ruthless Carlos Vasquez that dominated the Las Vegas Championship scene?”

Vasquez narrows his eyes, his smirk fading into a look of deadly seriousness.

Carlos Vasquez: “Expect more, Katie. Expect to see a man with nothing to lose and everything to prove. Jay Adder might be looking to make a name for himself tonight, but all he’s gonna get is a firsthand lesson in what happens when you cross me. The Victory Cup is just another step on my way back to the top, and trust me, nobody—nobody—is gonna stand in my way.”

Katie nods, clearly impressed by Vasquez’s intensity.

Katie Smith: “Thank you, Carlos. Best of luck in your match tonight.”

Carlos Vasquez gives her a nod before turning and walking off, his confidence palpable as he prepares for his match later in the night. The camera lingers on Katie for a moment before cutting back to ringside, setting the stage for what promises to be a high-stakes showdown.

Only the Beginning

The scene shifts to the backstage area of the Goodfellas Casino Arena, where sVo’s Katie Smith is standing by with a microphone in hand. Beside her is the new Las Vegas Champion, Johnny Dorn. The Chicago-born star has the championship belt slung over his shoulder, a broad smile on his face as he adjusts his cap. The cheers from the nearby fans are still audible, a testament to his growing popularity.

Katie Smith: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the new Las Vegas Champion, Johnny Dorn! Johnny, first of all, congratulations on your huge win at the Jackpot PPV last week where you defeated Carlos Vasquez to capture the Las Vegas Championship. How does it feel to hold that title?”

Johnny Dorn beams with pride, his eyes gleaming as he looks down at the championship belt on his shoulder. He takes a deep breath before responding, his voice filled with excitement and emotion.

Johnny Dorn: “Katie, it feels amazing! You know, coming from Chicago, I’ve always been a fighter, always had to scratch and claw for everything I’ve got. Winning the Las Vegas Championship, especially against a guy like Carlos Vasquez, who’s as tough as they come, it’s a dream come true. Holding this title… it’s proof that hard work pays off, that the underdog can come out on top. It’s been a wild ride, and to be standing here as the champ? Man, it feels incredible.”

Katie smiles, clearly happy for Dorn, but shifts the topic to the upcoming challenge.

Katie Smith: “You’ve definitely earned that title, Johnny, but the journey doesn’t stop here. The Victory Cup is starting tonight, and you’ll be facing Jake Hughes of the Canadian Connection next week in the first round. What are your thoughts going into that match, and how do you feel about your chances in this year’s tournament?”

Johnny’s expression turns serious, though the confidence never leaves his eyes. He adjusts the title on his shoulder and nods thoughtfully before answering.

Johnny Dorn: “The Victory Cup is one of the biggest opportunities in sVo, no doubt about it. Winning that tournament can change your career, and with guys like Jake Hughes in the mix, it’s gonna be a tough road. But here’s the thing, Katie—tough roads are nothing new to me. I’ve faced adversity my whole life, whether it’s in the streets of Chicago or in that ring. Jake Hughes is a talented guy, and the Canadian Connection… well, they’re no joke. But I didn’t come this far just to roll over now. I’m ready to defend this title with everything I’ve got and show the world that Johnny Dorn isn’t just a fluke. My chances? I’d say they’re pretty damn good.”

Katie nods, clearly impressed by Dorn’s determination and focus.

Katie Smith: “You’ve proven that you have what it takes to win big matches, Johnny. Do you think carrying the Las Vegas Championship gives you any added pressure, or does it motivate you even more as you head into the Victory Cup?”

Johnny pauses, a thoughtful expression crossing his face as he considers the question. Then, with a determined smile, he responds.

Johnny Dorn: “It’s definitely a bit of both, Katie. There’s always pressure when you’re the champ because everyone’s gunning for you. But for me, it’s more motivation than anything else. This title means the world to me, and I’m not about to let anyone take it away without a fight. Winning the Victory Cup would just be another way to prove that Johnny Dorn belongs at the top. So yeah, I feel the pressure, but it’s the kind of pressure that pushes me to be better, to keep fighting, and to never back down.”

Katie smiles, clearly inspired by Dorn’s words.

Katie Smith: “Johnny, thank you so much for your time, and good luck next week against Jake Hughes in the Victory Cup.”

Johnny Dorn: “Thanks, Katie. And to everyone watching—get ready, because the best is yet to come!”

Johnny Dorn gives a confident nod to the camera, then adjusts his Las Vegas Championship once more before walking off with a determined stride. The camera lingers on Katie Smith as she watches him go, clearly impressed by the new champion’s drive and passion, before cutting back to the action in the arena.

Consequences

The camera cuts to the plush, dimly lit office of sVo COO Amy Page. The tension in the room is palpable as Page sits behind her large mahogany desk, her fingers steepled together, her expression a mixture of frustration and cold calculation. The atmosphere is heavy, the air thick with disappointment after the earlier eliminations of her enforcers, Scott Washington and Rick Reid, from the Victory Cup tournament.

Suddenly, the door swings open, and in stride the Southern Boys—Dan Williams and Dave Miller—flanked by their manager, Haley Dallas. The trio looks as confident as ever, despite the simmering anger in their eyes. Haley Dallas, dressed in a sharp, stylish outfit, leads the way, her expression determined as she approaches the desk. The Southern Boys stand behind her, arms crossed, exuding an air of defiance.

Haley Dallas: “Amy, we need to talk.”

Amy Page looks up, her eyes narrowing slightly as she meets Haley’s gaze. She gestures for them to speak, but her expression remains cold.

Amy Page: “What is it?”

Dan Williams: “We wanna know why the hell we’re not in the Victory Cup this year.”

Dave Miller: “Yeah, Amy. We’ve busted our asses for this company, and now we’re getting left out of one of the biggest tournaments of the year? That doesn’t sit right with us.”

Haley nods in agreement, stepping forward with an assertive tone.

Haley Dallas: “We deserve an explanation. The Southern Boys are top-tier talent, and yet, we’re being sidelined while others get their shot. What’s the deal, Amy?”

Amy Page leans back in her chair, her expression unreadable as she considers their words. After a moment, she stands, walking around the desk to face them directly. The silence in the room grows thicker before she finally speaks, her tone icy.

Amy Page: “You want to know why you’re not in the Victory Cup? It’s simple. You failed.”

The Southern Boys exchange confused, angry glances as Haley narrows her eyes, clearly not satisfied with the answer.

Haley Dallas: “Failed? What are you talking about? We’ve been winning matches, making waves—”

Amy cuts her off with a sharp gesture, her voice rising slightly as her frustration seeps through.

Amy Page: “You had one job at the Jackpot PPV—to take down the Anarchy Alliance and bring those International Tag Team Championships to sVo. You didn’t get it done. You let Project Violence continue their dominance, and now we’re stuck with those belts being paraded around in other companies. That was your failure, and these are the consequences.”

The Southern Boys bristle at her words, their expressions darkening as they process the gravity of the situation.

Dan Williams: “So you’re punishing us? By keeping us out of the tournament?”

Amy Page: “That’s just the beginning, Dan. You think missing out on the Victory Cup is bad? There are more consequences coming your way, and trust me, you’re not going to like what happens next.”

Haley steps forward, her voice calm but laced with anger.

Haley Dallas: “This isn’t fair, Amy. You know damn well that my boys are the best tag team in this company. You wanna punish someone? Punish the Anarchy Alliance, not us.”

Amy Page smirks, a hint of satisfaction flickering in her eyes as she sees their frustration. She leans in slightly, her voice dropping to a menacing whisper.

Amy Page: “Life isn’t fair, Haley. You want to prove that the Southern Boys are the best? Then you better start picking up wins—big* wins. Because if you don’t, your time here is going to get a lot more uncomfortable.”*

The tension in the room spikes as the Southern Boys and Haley Dallas glare at Amy Page. After a moment, Haley pulls back, regaining her composure. She motions for her team to leave, but before they do, Dan Williams leans in close to Amy, his voice low and threatening.

Dan Williams: “You’re gonna regret this, Amy.”

Amy Page doesn’t flinch, her smirk unwavering as the Southern Boys and Haley Dallas turn and storm out of the office. The camera lingers on Amy for a moment, her expression one of cold satisfaction, before fading out, leaving the audience to ponder what further consequences might be in store for the Southern Boys.

1st Round Match
Athena vs. Gunner Lang

Ringside
No Help Coming

The scene opens with Athena standing in the middle of the ring, victorious after her hard-fought match against Gunner Lang. The crowd boos, but there is an undercurrent of tension in the air. Athena, catching her breath, raises her arms in triumph as her music plays. The camera zooms in on her, showing her relief and satisfaction as she soaks in the moment.

Commentator Julian Fiasco: “What a performance by Athena! She advances in the Victory Cup tournament with a hard-earned win over Gunner Lang. But wait, something doesn’t seem right here—”

Before Julian can finish, the atmosphere in the arena changes dramatically. The lights dim and an ominous buzz fills the arena as the entrance music of the Legends Club starts to play. Curtis Knight, Drew Hendrix, and Buzz Marshall make their way down the ramp with purposeful strides. The crowd’s excitement shifts to confusion and concern as the Legends Club members head toward the ring.

Commentator Jeremiah Sloan: “Uh oh, it looks like the Legends Club isn’t done for the night. Curtis Knight, Drew Hendrix, and Buzz Marshall are heading to the ring, and they don’t look like they’re here to celebrate Athena’s victory.”

As the Legends Club enters the ring, Curtis Knight grabs a microphone, his face twisted into a sinister grin.

Curtis Knight: “Congratulations, Athena! But the fun isn’t over yet. We’ve got a little celebration of our own planned tonight.”

Curtis Knight steps forward, his eyes focused on the battered Gunner Lang, who is still lying on the mat. The crowd starts to boo loudly, sensing something is about to go terribly wrong.

The camera cuts to the backstage area, where we see the locker room door of Generation Joint chained shut. The camera zooms in to show the lock on the door, and muffled sounds of frustration and pounding can be heard from inside.

Commentator Julian Fiasco: “Oh no, it looks like the Legends Club had a plan in place! Generation Joint is trapped backstage, and they can’t get out to help Gunner Lang!”

Back in the ring, Curtis Knight, Athena, Drew Hendrix, and Buzz Marshall begin to viciously assault Gunner Lang, who tries to fend them off weakly. Curtis Knight kicks Lang repeatedly, while Drew Hendrix and Buzz Marshall hold him down, delivering brutal blows.

Commentator Jeremiah Sloan: “This is absolutely despicable! The Legends Club are taking advantage of Lang’s situation and putting the boots to him. This is four-on-one brutality!”

The crowd’s boos grow louder as the Legends Club show no mercy. Curtis Knight grabs the microphone once more, his voice dripping with arrogance.

Curtis Knight: “Looks like Generation Joint can’t save their boy tonight. And you know what? We’re just getting started. If anyone wants to step up to the Legends Club, you’d better be ready for the fight of your life. We’re here to take over, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it!”

As Curtis Knight finishes his proclamation, the camera cuts to the backstage area once more, showing the frustrated and powerless members of Generation Joint still trapped behind the locked door. The scene then returns to the ring, where the Legends Club continue their assault on the defenseless Gunner Lang.

Eventually, the arena fills with a mixture of boos and worried murmurs as security personnel rush down the ramp to intervene, but the damage has already been done. The Legends Club eventually retreat, leaving Gunner Lang lying in the ring, battered and alone.

Commentator Julian Fiasco: “This is a horrifying display by the Legends Club. They’ve not only beaten Gunner Lang, but they’ve also sent a clear message to anyone who dares to stand in their way. This is truly a dark moment for the sVo.”

The camera pans out, showing the devastated state of the ring and the chaotic scene backstage, as the show goes off the air with a heavy, unsettling feeling hanging over the arena.

The atmosphere is charged with anticipation as he makes his way to the ring, his presence commanding respect and admiration from the fans.

Commentator Julian Fiasco: “Here comes Night, and the energy in the arena is through the roof! The iconic wrestler from Japan is here to make a major announcement after his dramatic return at Jackpot.”

Night climbs into the ring and takes a moment to soak in the adoration from the crowd. He grabs a microphone, and the cheering begins to subside as he prepares to speak.

Night: “Las Vegas! It’s incredible to see all of you!”

The crowd roars in response, clearly thrilled to hear from their hero.

Night: “I know many of you were hoping that I would win the Jackpot Rumble last week, and I’m sorry that I couldn’t deliver that for you. But my return served its purpose—I stopped my brother, Nightmare, from winning the sVo Championship.”

The crowd reacts with a mix of cheers and nods of approval. Night pauses for a moment, allowing his words to resonate.

Night: “But now, I have a new goal, and it’s a big one. I’m entering the Victory Cup tournament, and my intention is to win it. That’s right—I’m going to claim that Victory Cup and earn a shot at the sVo Championship. And if that means I have to go through my brother Nightmare to get there, then so be it!”

The arena erupts into enthusiastic cheers, the fans clearly excited by Night’s determination and resolve.

Commentator Jeremiah Sloan: “Wow, Night is setting his sights on the Victory Cup! He’s not just looking to win the tournament, but he’s also prepared to face his brother, Nightmare, if that’s what it takes. What a declaration!”

Night stands in the center of the ring, the microphone held firmly as he raises his free hand, gesturing to the crowd. The cheers and chants for Night grow louder, filling the arena with palpable excitement.

Night: “So get ready, because I’m coming for that Victory Cup, and I won’t back down. No matter who stands in my way, even if it’s my own brother, I will fight with everything I have. The world will see that when it comes to achieving greatness, I will not be stopped!”

With that resolute statement, Night drops the microphone and begins to exit the ring. The crowd continues to cheer wildly as they react to his powerful declaration. The camera captures the enthusiastic response from the fans, their excitement for the upcoming Victory Cup evident.

As Night makes his way up the ramp, the screen fades out on this thrilling announcement, leaving the audience eagerly anticipating the drama and excitement that will unfold in the Victory Cup.
