The Stratford Arena, London, England
7th October 2024
[Camera fades in to the packed Stratford Arena, buzzing with anticipation. The camera pans over the electrified crowd, showcasing the full capacity of fans packed in to witness the biggest event of the year.]
[Fireworks explode overhead as the camera zooms in on the commentary table, where Steve Pringle and Eddie Bates sit, ready to deliver the action.]
Steve Pringle:
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to DW Doomsday! We are live here in the legendary Stratford Arena in London, England, and the atmosphere tonight is absolutely electric! This is the night where champions will be crowned, rivalries will be settled, and we’re guaranteed to see some of the most hard-hitting and intense action that DW has ever produced!”
Eddie Bates:
“That’s right, Steve. It’s Doomsday – a night of reckoning, and we have five incredible matches lined up for you tonight. From bitter rivalries to championship battles, this is an event that’s going to leave a mark on DW history!”
Steve Pringle:
“And let’s start by talking about what we’re about to see. In our opening contest, the always-controversial Oliver Harrington takes on Liam O’Donovan. This one has been building for weeks, and you can bet Harrington’s ego is on the line as he faces the tough Irishman!”
Eddie Bates:
“Then we move on to the DW UK Tag Team Championship match, where the reigning champions Kyle McRae and Angus Blackhart defend their titles against British Hospitality. McRae and Blackhart shocked the world when they won the titles, and tonight they face one of the most formidable teams in DW!”
Steve Pringle:
“Following that, it’s the UK Championship on the line as Jonathan Sullivan defends his title against the hungry Stijn De Raaf. Sullivan’s undefeated run has been impressive, but De Raaf has made it clear that he’s ready to take that belt and end Sullivan’s reign of dominance!”
Eddie Bates:
“Then, the International Heavyweight Championship will be defended as Masafumi Satake, the reigning champion, faces Jean Louis Duval. Duval has been clamoring for this match for months, and tonight he finally gets his chance. But Satake is no slouch, and he’s been defending that title with pride!”
Steve Pringle:
“And of course, the main event. The DW Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as the reigning champion, Bjorn Asulf, defends against the former champion, Angelo Anderson. These two men despise each other, and you can feel the tension in the air tonight. This is the match everyone’s been waiting for, and it could be a war!”
Eddie Bates:
“The stage is set, the champions are ready, and the challengers are hungry. Tonight, anything can happen. This is Doomsday!”
[The camera pans over the crowd once more, as the fans cheer wildly. The screen fades to black, with the PPV’s logo and “Doomsday” emblazoned across it.]
Steve Pringle:
“Let’s get this show started!”
[The camera cuts to the first match, and the crowd roars in anticipation.]
Single Match
Oliver Harrington vs. Liam O’Donovan
Backstage
Personal
[Backstage at DW Doomsday – The camera finds William Smith standing alongside *British Hospitality* – Harry Black and Alexander Hate. Both men look intense, their faces filled with determination as they are moments away from their huge UK Tag Team Championship match against Kyle McRae and Angus Blackhart.]
William Smith:
“Harry, Alexander, tonight is the night. After everything that’s gone down with Kyle McRae turning on you, stabbing you both in the back, this is your chance to get revenge and claim the DW UK Tag Team Championships. How are you both feeling heading into this match?”
Harry Black:
(His jaw clenched, eyes cold)
“How am I feeling, Smith? How am I feeling? I’m furious. Kyle McRae, we gave you everything. We took you in like family, like one of our own. And what did you do? You betrayed us. You turned on us when we had your back in the darkest moments. You called us brothers, and now you’ve chosen to stand with him… with that coward, Angus Blackhart.”
[Harry points to the camera, his anger building.]
Harry Black (cont’d):
“You took our trust and stomped all over it, McRae! You’re not just fighting for the tag titles tonight; you’re fighting to try and prove you can live with the consequences of your betrayal. You’re going to pay for it. We’re going to make you pay for it.”
Alexander Hate:
(Stepping forward, his tone calm but filled with venom)
“This isn’t just about the titles. This is about honor, respect. You disrespected us, McRae. And tonight, we make you pay for that disrespect. I don’t care how many times you try to stand tall with Blackhart by your side. You’re walking into the lion’s den, and there’s no way out for you.”
William Smith:
“You’ve had a lot of history with McRae, but it’s clear that you’re focused on taking back the gold tonight. Do you think this betrayal has motivated you even more for this match?”
Harry Black:
“Motivated us? Hell, yeah. We were already the best tag team in DW. But now, after what Kyle did, we’ve got something to prove. McRae, you’ve made this personal, and when British Hospitality makes things personal, we don’t stop until the job’s done.”
Alexander Hate:
“You’ve only made one mistake, McRae. And that mistake is thinking we wouldn’t come for you. You’ve been hiding behind Blackhart, thinking you could take the easy way out, but tonight we show you exactly what happens when you betray a brother. We’re coming for the tag titles, and we’re coming for you.”
[Harry glares into the camera, then both men turn their attention back to William Smith.]
Harry Black (firmly):
“This is more than revenge, Smith. Tonight, we take back what’s ours. And we make sure McRae and Blackhart never forget what they did to us.”
[The camera zooms in on their determined faces as they walk off, heading towards their championship match. The tension is palpable as the fans know the emotional stakes are at an all-time high for this contest.]
[The camera cuts to the arena as the scene fades.]
Backstage
Fair Fight
[Backstage at DW Doomsday – The camera cuts to a corridor where the International Heavyweight Champion, Masafumi Satake, arrives at the Stratford Arena. He’s dressed in his ring gear, with his title draped over his shoulder. The crowd outside can be heard buzzing in anticipation for his upcoming match against Jean Louis Duval.]
[As Satake walks through the hallway, Royce Lacroix and HyperNova suddenly emerge from the shadows, blocking his path. They stand there with a menacing look, and the tension immediately rises in the air. Satake doesn’t back down, his expression calm but focused.]
Royce Lacroix:
“You’re not going to walk into this match like you own the place, Satake. Tonight, Duval’s going to show you exactly what happens when you mess with The Legion!”
HyperNova:
“Duval is going to end you tonight. You’re nothing more than a stepping stone to us.”
[Satake stares at both men coldly, gripping the title on his shoulder as he responds in a low, confident voice.]
Masafumi Satake:
“If you’re looking for a fight, then you’ll have to wait for tonight. Duval will feel the same pain I’ve given to everyone else before him.”
[Before things can escalate further, the camera pans to General Manager Matt Anarchy, who rushes in, flanked by security. He steps between Satake and The Legion, his presence authoritative as he looks sternly at Royce Lacroix and HyperNova.]
Matt Anarchy:
“Enough! Royce, HyperNova, if you two lay a hand on Masafumi Satake right now, the match tonight is off. I’ve made it clear – I want to see a fair fight tonight, and I intend to keep it that way. So if you want to make it to the ring, you’ll hold off until the bell rings!”
[Royce Lacroix and HyperNova exchange irritated glances, but they don’t push the issue any further. They scowl at Satake one last time, then slowly back away, not taking their eyes off the International Heavyweight Champion.]
Royce Lacroix:
“This isn’t over, Satake. We’ll see you tonight.”
[HyperNova mutters something unintelligible under his breath as they turn and walk away, leaving Satake standing there, unflinching. Anarchy looks at Satake, nodding in approval.]
Matt Anarchy:
“I’ve got your back tonight. Go and get ready for your match, but stay focused. You’ve got a big one ahead.”
[Satake simply nods, the look of determination never leaving his face. He walks past Anarchy and heads toward the locker room as the camera lingers on Anarchy’s face, his concern evident but confident that the champion will prevail.]
[The camera cuts to a shot of the arena, the crowd roaring in anticipation for what’s to come.]
DW UK Tag Team Championship Match
Kyle McRae & Angus Blackhart (c) vs. British Hospitality
Ringside
Still Whining
[The match between Kyle McRae & Angus Blackhart and British Hospitality has just ended, and as the bell rings, McRae and Blackhart stand victorious in the ring. The fans are booing loudly, their displeasure filling the arena. McRae holds the DW UK Tag Team Championship belt high in the air, while Blackhart sneers and stands proudly beside him, his own belt draped over his shoulder.]
[British Hospitality – Harry Black and Alexander Hate – are on their knees in the ring, visibly frustrated and furious with the outcome. Their faces show a mixture of anger and disbelief as McRae and Blackhart continue their taunting celebration. The fans jeer and chant, some shouting insults at the new champions. The atmosphere is thick with tension.]
Steve Pringle (commentator):
“And just like that, Kyle McRae and Angus Blackhart have done the unthinkable, holding on to the DW UK Tag Team Championships, but British Hospitality are not going to take this lightly. This is far from over!”
Eddie Bates (commentator):
“McRae and Blackhart might have retained the gold tonight, but this is clearly not the end of the story. British Hospitality has been taken to the edge, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they come back with a vengeance soon.”
[British Hospitality slowly rise to their feet, their faces filled with rage. Harry Black grabs a microphone, his voice low but seething with anger.]
Harry Black (into the mic):
“McRae… Blackhart… you think this is over? You think you’ve won? You’ve only just started to see the wrath of British Hospitality. You’ve disrespected us, and you’ve made one hell of a mistake.”
[Harry pauses, glaring at McRae and Blackhart, who continue to celebrate, their taunts louder now.]
Harry Black (cont’d):
“We gave you everything. We welcomed you into our family, and you stabbed us in the back. Tonight, we didn’t lose to you – we lost to a coward and a snake. McRae, you’re not just a disappointment. You’re a traitor. And tonight, that’s what you’ll remember.”
Alexander Hate (into the mic):
“You’ve got your gold, McRae. But you’ve lost something much more important. Respect. And trust me, you won’t like what happens next. We’re coming for you. This isn’t over. We’re going to make sure you regret every decision that brought you to this point.”
[The crowd reacts with boos as the tension rises, and McRae and Blackhart stop celebrating for a moment, turning their attention to British Hospitality. McRae sneers and laughs, the belt still in his hands.]
Kyle McRae (into the mic):
“Look at you two… still whining. You had your chance, and you lost. You had your little moment of glory, but now you’ve got to deal with the reality that you’re not even close to our level. We’ve beaten you. And now… you can just sit and watch as we run the division.”
Angus Blackhart (into the mic):
“You’re not getting these. No matter how much you cry about it. These belts are ours, and tonight just proves we’re untouchable.”
[The crowd continues to boo loudly as McRae and Blackhart exchange smug grins and lift their titles high again. British Hospitality’s anger grows, but they hold their ground, glaring at the champions.]
[The camera pans to show Harry Black and Alexander Hate’s burning expressions, their fists clenched in fury. McRae and Blackhart laugh, turning their backs on the fallen challengers as they exit the ring, leaving British Hospitality standing in the center of the ring, fuming and ready for the next confrontation.]
[The scene ends with McRae and Blackhart celebrating up the ramp as British Hospitality seethes in the ring, and the fans continue their chorus of boos.]
Backstage
For the UK
[The camera cuts to the backstage area, where Jonathan Sullivan, the DW UK Champion, is seen stretching and preparing for his title defense against Stijn De Raaf, the former UK Champion. Sullivan looks focused, lacing his boots, a determined expression on his face. The sound of light footsteps approaches as the camera pans to reveal Geoffrey Hobbs, dressed in his ring gear, walking over to Sullivan. Hobbs has a calm, respectful demeanor.]
Geoffrey Hobbs (softly, as he approaches):
“Hey, Jonathan. I just wanted to come over and wish you good luck out there tonight.”
[Sullivan looks up from his preparations, raising an eyebrow and giving Hobbs a small nod, acknowledging his presence. Sullivan’s voice is calm, but there’s a noticeable edge of concentration in his tone.]
Jonathan Sullivan:
“Thanks, Geoffrey. I know I’ve got a tough match ahead of me with De Raaf, but I’ve always been ready to defend this title.”
[Hobbs steps a little closer, his voice earnest but with a touch of concern.]
Geoffrey Hobbs:
“You’ve got it all, mate. That UK Championship, you’ve made it your own. But I know what it’s like to have Legion breathing down your neck, so if you need me out there, I’ve got your back.”
[Sullivan glances at Hobbs, his steely expression softening slightly as he takes in the gesture. He nods appreciatively, still keeping his focus on the match ahead.]
Jonathan Sullivan (nodding):
“I appreciate that, Geoffrey. But tonight, it’s me and De Raaf. I’ve fought hard to keep this belt, and I’m not letting anyone take it from me. But yeah… if it comes down to it, I know I can count on you.”
[The camera zooms in on the two men as they exchange a silent understanding. Hobbs smiles subtly, giving Sullivan a small pat on the shoulder before stepping back.]
Geoffrey Hobbs (with a smile):
“You got this, mate. Just keep your eyes on De Raaf, and we’ll deal with the rest later.”
[Sullivan nods once, giving Hobbs a tight-lipped smile before returning to his warm-up, the weight of the upcoming title match still looming large on his mind. Hobbs watches for a moment, then turns and walks off, leaving Sullivan to prepare alone.]
[The camera lingers for a second on Sullivan, who pauses, takes a deep breath, and then returns to his stretching, steeling himself for the challenge ahead.]
[The scene fades to black as the atmosphere in the arena grows more intense, with the upcoming UK Championship match hanging in the air.]
DW UK Championship Match
Jonathan Sullivan (c) vs. Stijn De Raaf
Ringside
Global Takeover Ready
[The camera cuts to the aftermath of the match, with Jonathan Sullivan standing tall in the center of the ring. The DW UK Champion holds his title high, the fans cheering him loudly in the aftermath of his dominant victory over Stijn De Raaf. Sullivan is soaking in the moment, his chest heaving as he smiles, clearly proud of his performance.]
[Suddenly, the mood shifts as the camera catches movement at ringside. The fans start murmuring as they notice Anderson Alvarez, the Project Violence TV Champion, sneaking through the crowd and making his way toward the ring. Alvarez rolls into the ring, followed closely by his Hate Eternal teammates, the International Tag Team Champions the Gutter Gods. The three men stand in a menacing formation, glaring at Sullivan, who turns around just in time to see them. The crowd begins to boo even louder as Alvarez raises his TV title with a smirk.]
Steve Pringle (commentating):
“Well, this is not what Sullivan was expecting! Anderson Alvarez and the Hate Eternal are here, and it looks like they’re planning something nasty!”
**[Alvarez, Watson, and Mike circle Sullivan, who is now holding the UK Championship defensively. It’s clear they’re planning to attack, but before they can move in, the lights flicker, and the crowd pops loudly as the entrance music of *Geoffrey Hobbs* hits! The fans explode as Hobbs rushes down the ramp, holding a steel chair! Sullivan looks momentarily relieved as Hobbs slides into the ring and swings the chair menacingly at Alvarez and his team.]**
Eddie Bates (commentating):
“Here comes Geoffrey Hobbs! The cavalry has arrived! Sullivan looks like he’s got a bit of backup!”
[The sight of Hobbs with the chair forces Alvarez and the Hate Eternal to hesitate. They exchange glances, calculating whether to move in or retreat. Sullivan, now with the advantage, readies himself, still holding his belt, while Hobbs stands guard beside him, swinging the chair threateningly at any of the three who get too close.]
Steve Pringle:
“This is what we’ve been waiting for! Sullivan and Hobbs have the numbers on their side now! But will they back down, or is this about to get ugly?”
[Alvarez steps back, seemingly reconsidering, as Watson and Mike exchange a few words. The tension in the air is palpable as the three of them retreat toward the ropes. Alvarez gives one last look toward Sullivan and Hobbs before finally exiting the ring, Gutter Gods following close behind. The fans erupt in cheers as the three men make their way up the ramp, still glaring at Sullivan and Hobbs, but not making another move.]
Eddie Bates:
“It looks like Anderson Alvarez and his crew are backing off! But Sullivan and Hobbs just showed them they’re not to be messed with!”
[The camera zooms in on Sullivan and Hobbs in the ring, their expressions both a mix of relief and caution. Sullivan clutches his UK Championship tighter, while Hobbs lowers the steel chair and offers a nod of gratitude to the champion. Sullivan nods in return, the two sharing a silent acknowledgment of the moment.]
[The scene fades as the camera zooms in on the steel chair, now resting at Hobbs’ side as the crowd continues to cheer for their unexpected alliance.]
Backstage
Ready for the Main Event
[The camera cuts backstage to William Smith, standing in front of a wall in the Stratford Arena. He looks directly into the camera as he prepares to interview the #1 contender for the DW Heavyweight Championship, Angelo Anderson. Anderson, in his usual black gear, stands nearby with a confident but focused expression. His fists are clenched, and the championship gold is clearly on his mind.]
William Smith:
“Tonight, Angelo Anderson, you face the reigning DW Heavyweight Champion, ‘The Viking’ Bjorn Asulf, in what could be the biggest match of your career. This is your opportunity to finally claim the top prize in DW. How are you feeling going into this match?”
[Anderson smirks, clearly confident. He adjusts the straps of his wrist tape, looking directly at the camera, as if preparing to address both his opponent and the fans watching.]
Angelo Anderson:
“How am I feeling, William? I feel like I’ve been waiting for this moment my entire life. I’ve been grinding, clawing, and fighting to get this opportunity, and now that it’s here, I’m not going to let it slip away. Bjorn Asulf… the so-called ‘Viking’… he’s held that title for a while, and he’s been walking around like he’s the greatest champion to ever exist. But the truth is, I’m the one who’s been overlooked. I’m the one who’s been busting my ass in this company for years, and tonight, I’m going to take that title from him.”
[He pauses for a moment, his eyes narrowing. He seems focused and determined, the weight of the upcoming match clearly on his mind.]
Angelo Anderson:
“You see, Asulf, you’ve been holding on to that belt like it’s some sort of life raft. You think you’re untouchable, that your strength and your ‘Viking’ persona makes you unbeatable. But tonight, I’m going to show you that I’m the one who’s unstoppable. I’m the one who’s going to beat you at your own game and take your title. And when I do, no one, and I mean no one, will question that I’m the new face of DW.”
[Anderson leans in slightly, a fire in his eyes.]
Angelo Anderson:
“This isn’t just about a title. This is about me finally getting what I deserve. Tonight, at the Doomsday PPV, Bjorn Asulf’s reign ends, and the era of Angelo Anderson begins. I’m walking out of this building tonight with the DW Heavyweight Championship, and there’s nothing Asulf can do about it.”
[William Smith, sensing the intensity of the moment, nods and holds the mic a bit closer to Anderson’s face.]
William Smith:
“Strong words, Angelo. But Asulf is a formidable champion. Are you worried at all about the strength and power that Asulf has been using to retain his title?”
[Anderson chuckles softly, shaking his head.]
Angelo Anderson:
“Worried? William, I’ve been up against powerhouses before. I’ve been in the ring with the best, and I’ve beaten the best. Asulf might have strength, but I have the heart, the passion, and the drive to win. The Viking’s reign ends tonight. I’m the man of the hour, and tonight… tonight, I become the Heavyweight Champion.”
[Anderson turns and walks off camera, the camera lingering for a moment before cutting back to the commentary booth.]
Eddie Bates (commentating):
“Angelo Anderson is fired up, folks. He’s got the confidence and the determination to back it up, but he’ll need every ounce of that energy to take down Bjorn Asulf, the Viking, in tonight’s main event. This is going to be a war!”
Steve Pringle (commentating):
“No doubt about it, Eddie. This is going to be one of the biggest matches of Angelo Anderson’s career, and you can feel the stakes are incredibly high. He’s not just after the gold—he’s after the legacy!”
[The scene cuts to a promo video hyping the main event for Doomsday as the camera fades out.]
International Heavyweight Championship Match
Masafumi Satake (c) vs. Jean Louis Duval
Ringside
Ironmen
[The bell rings, and the referee signals that the match has ended. Both men are exhausted, lying on the mat, their bodies battered from the grueling contest. The fans, showing their respect, are on their feet, giving both men a standing ovation. Masafumi Satake and Jean Louis Duval, though visibly worn, slowly rise to their feet, with Satake standing first.]
[Satake, breathing heavily, extends a hand to Duval, showing respect for the hard-fought match. The crowd murmurs with anticipation, eagerly waiting to see if Duval will accept the gesture.]
Steve Pringle (commentating):
“What a match! A true battle between two of the best in the world! You have to respect both of these men for what they’ve just put their bodies through. The war they’ve fought tonight could’ve gone either way.”
Eddie Bates (commentating):
“And it’s a draw! No one really gets the upper hand, but both men gave it everything. Now, look at this, Satake is showing some sportsmanship here, offering Duval a handshake.”
**[Duval eyes Satake warily, his breathing heavy as he glares at the extended hand. The tension is thick in the air as the crowd watches in anticipation, waiting to see if Duval will take the handshake. For a moment, it looks like he might, but then…]
**[Without warning, Duval violently shoves Satake back, causing the crowd to react with loud boos. Suddenly, the arena lights flicker, and the music of *Legion* hits. From the back, Royce Lacroix and HyperNova rush down to the ring, flanking Duval on either side. The trio surrounds Satake, their expressions menacing.]**
Steve Pringle (commentating):
“Wait a minute! This isn’t over yet! Duval has just shoved Satake away, and now here comes Legion—Lacroix and HyperNova—they’re not done! They’re going to attack!”
[The crowd’s boos grow louder as Duval, Lacroix, and HyperNova start to stomp on Satake, who is now trying to defend himself but is clearly outnumbered and outmatched. The trio beats him down mercilessly, delivering powerful kicks and punches. The referee looks helpless as the attack continues.]
Eddie Bates (commentating):
“Unbelievable! After a match like that, after everything these two men just went through, now Legion are attacking Satake? This is despicable! Duval, Lacroix, and HyperNova are showing no respect!”
**[The crowd is furious, chanting “This is BS!” as the three men continue their assault. The boos grow louder and louder, as fans scream at the top of their lungs, demanding an end to the attack. Satake is down, and there’s no one to stop Legion. Just as it seems things are getting worse, **Jonathan Sullivan, the DW UK Champion, rushes to the ring to a loud pop from the crowd.]
Steve Pringle (commentating):
“Wait a second! Here comes Jonathan Sullivan! The UK Champion is running down to the ring—he’s coming to Satake’s aid!”
[Sullivan slides into the ring, a steel chair in hand, and swings it wildly at Legion! The chair clatters against the ground as Duval and his men scatter to the outside, retreating up the ramp, their attack thwarted. The fans cheer as Sullivan kneels next to Satake, who is barely conscious, and offers his assistance.]
Eddie Bates (commentating):
“Sullivan’s here! The UK Champion has come to the rescue! He’s not letting Legion run roughshod in this company! The crowd is loving this!”
[Sullivan looks down at Satake, who is still struggling to get to his feet. They exchange a quick glance, a mutual understanding passing between them. The two men stand tall in the ring as Legion retreats, their eyes locked on one another with respect, but also a sense of tension. The crowd cheers loudly as the camera zooms in on the two warriors.]
Steve Pringle (commentating):
“What a night! After everything that’s happened here, we’ve got a strange partnership between Satake and Sullivan. But for now, it looks like Legion has been sent packing. Can we expect more fallout from this in the future? And what does this mean for the International Heavyweight Championship?”
Eddie Bates (commentating):
“We’ll have to wait and see, Steve, but for tonight, it’s a huge win for Satake’s integrity, and a huge statement from Jonathan Sullivan! What a moment here at Doomsday!”
[The camera pans out as the fans continue to cheer, Sullivan and Satake standing tall in the center of the ring as Legion retreats, the show cutting to a commercial break.]
Backstage
My Kingdom
**[The camera opens on William Smith standing in the backstage area, holding a microphone. Behind him, the DW Heavyweight Champion *Bjorn Asulf* is seen warming up, the title belt draped over his shoulder. Smith looks to the champion, who appears focused and intense.]**
William Smith:
“Bjorn Asulf, the moment has finally arrived. In just moments, you will defend your DW Heavyweight Championship against Angelo Anderson in the main event here tonight at Doomsday. How are you feeling heading into this highly-anticipated match?”
[Asulf clenches his fists, the championship belt glinting in the dimly lit room. His steely gaze is fixed on Smith as he slowly exhales, exuding confidence.]
Bjorn Asulf (DW Heavyweight Champion):
“I’ve been feeling exactly the same way since I first became DW Heavyweight Champion: unbeatable. Angelo Anderson thinks he’s going to walk into this match and take this belt from me? Please. He’s just another man who has to deal with the reality that I am on another level. Tonight, he’ll find out why I’ve held this title for as long as I have.”
William Smith:
“You’ve had a dominant reign, Bjorn, but tonight it’s personal. The rivalry between you and Anderson has been building for weeks, and tonight is the culmination of all that tension. Anderson has said that he’s going to do everything in his power to take this title from you, and he’s looking to finally silence your dominance. What’s your response to that?”
[Asulf’s expression hardens, his voice growing colder.]
Bjorn Asulf (DW Heavyweight Champion):
“My response? Angelo Anderson can try all he wants, but he’s out of his depth. He wants to step up to me, to claim my title? He’s not the first to try, and he won’t be the last. But no matter how many times he tries, he will never, ever take this from me. Tonight, when the bell rings, it’s not about how much heart Anderson has. It’s about one thing: the Viking will reign supreme.”
[Asulf takes a moment to adjust his championship belt, his eyes locked with the camera now, a fire burning behind his intense stare.]
Bjorn Asulf (DW Heavyweight Champion):
“And tonight, after I put Anderson down for good, everyone will understand that the Viking does not lose. I don’t lose. This is my kingdom, my title, and no one—not Anderson, not anyone—is going to take that from me.”
William Smith:
“Strong words, but the challenge Anderson presents is certainly formidable. He’s made it clear that tonight, he’s going for the gold. Can you feel the weight of that pressure, being the champion? Knowing Anderson is gunning for you?”
Bjorn Asulf (DW Heavyweight Champion):
“Pressure? Pressure is something I embrace, William. It fuels me. Angelo Anderson can talk all he wants, but tonight he will have to face the Viking, and tonight he will learn the true meaning of pain and defeat. I don’t just defend my title, I destroy anyone who thinks they can take it from me. Anderson will find that out tonight.”
[Asulf smirks slightly, tapping the belt that sits across his shoulder with pride.]
Bjorn Asulf (DW Heavyweight Champion):
“This title is mine, and it will stay mine for as long as I say. Anderson? He’s just a temporary roadblock. But after tonight, he’ll be just another victim on my path of destruction. Doomsday will be his. Not mine.”
**[Asulf stares into the camera with unyielding intensity, the message clear: tonight, he intends to prove why he is the *Viking*, the undisputed **DW Heavyweight Champion. The camera slowly fades out as Asulf walks away, his championship glinting in the light.]
William Smith:
“Strong words from the reigning champion! But will Angelo Anderson be able to prove him wrong tonight? We’re just moments away from the main event of DW Doomsday!”
[The scene fades to black as the camera cuts to a promo for the main event.]

The crowd is audibly booing, the fans visibly upset by the outcome of the match. Anderson smirks, soaking in the jeers, as he parades around the ring with the championship in his hands. His arrogance is on full display.]**
Angelo Anderson (DW Heavyweight Champion):
“You all hated me, you all doubted me… but look at me now! I told you, I told you I would be the one to take the title from that so-called ‘Viking’!“
**[The boos grow louder as Anderson taunts the crowd, standing in the middle of the ring with his arms outstretched. He sneers down at the fallen **Bjorn Asulf, who is still trying to recover from the hard-fought match.]
Angelo Anderson (DW Heavyweight Champion):
“This is my time now. This is my era. And no one, no one is gonna take this from me! Not you, not anyone. Tonight, I proved I’m the best, and this title, this company… it’s mine! The Viking was just the first to fall. And trust me, there will be more.“
[Suddenly, the arena lights flicker and dim. The crowd murmurs in confusion, the atmosphere shifting from celebration to tense anticipation.]
**[On the massive screen behind the ring, the image of **the Black Raven—Cedric Thornfield—appears. His face is partially obscured in shadows, with his piercing eyes glowing ominously in the dim light. His voice, low and eerie, echoes throughout the arena.]
Cedric Thornfield (via video):
“Angelo Anderson… you may have won the championship tonight, but the true reckoning is yet to come. The time of your reign will be short, for in the darkness, I wait. I see you standing at the pinnacle, but beware, for the ravens are watching.“
[The screen flickers, the image of the Black Raven growing clearer. Thornfield’s haunting presence sends chills through the crowd. His voice becomes more chilling as he continues.]
Cedric Thornfield (via video):
“At the end of your reign, when the shadows fall and the light begins to dim, you will realize what true fear is. Doomsday is not just a title, Anderson… it’s the end of your world. And I… will be the one to bring it.“
[The screen goes black, the haunting image of the Black Raven vanishing. The lights flicker back to normal, and the atmosphere in the Stratford Arena is thick with tension.]
**[Anderson stands in the ring, the *DW Heavyweight Championship* still in his grasp. His smug expression falters for just a moment as the words of Cedric Thornfield echo in his mind. The fans continue to boo, but now there’s a sense of unease as the show slowly fades to black.]**
Steve Pringle (commentary):
“What a statement from Cedric Thornfield! Angelo Anderson may have claimed the title tonight, but now he’s got a whole new threat to deal with. The Black Raven is watching!“
Eddie Bates (commentary):
“**That was chilling! Anderson’s celebration may be short-lived, and with Thornfield’s warning… things are far from over. What a night here at **DW Doomsday!“
[The camera fades out, leaving the fans in shock and anticipation as the screen cuts to the show’s closing graphics.]
