The neon lights of the Samurai Summit Arena & Casino have finally dimmed, and the echoes of the capacity crowd are still ringing in my ears. If you weren’t lucky enough to witness the carnage in person here in Tokyo, I have some incredible news: RSPW Carnage 38 is officially available for worldwide streaming right now on the Sanctioned Violence Network.
As I stood backstage tonight, the atmosphere was unlike anything I’ve felt in my career as a broadcaster. There was a palpable sense of a shifting landscape. With some of the most established names in the industry recently moving on to new horizons, the air in the locker room was thick with a mix of anxiety and raw, unbridled ambition. Every single athlete on this card walked into that ring tonight knowing that the future of Rising Sun Pro Wrestling was up for grabs.
The night kicked off with a technical masterclass between Emi Sato and Mei Nakamura. These are two women who represent the very best of the division’s evolution. Watching their contrasting styles clash—Sato’s heart versus Nakamura’s clinical precision—set a high bar for everything that followed. It was a reminder that in RSPW, one mistake on the mat can change the trajectory of your entire season.
We also saw the heavy hitters take center stage. The sheer power on display when King Neptune collided with Daiki Yutaka was enough to shake the foundations of the casino floor next door. But power wasn’t the only story; the personal animosity between the legendary Misaki and the powerhouse Takeshi Kobayashi reached a fever pitch. There’s a certain level of violence that only comes from deep-seated disrespect, and those two didn’t hold back.
Perhaps the most talked-about moment heading into the stream, however, is the high-stakes Triple Threat match featuring Hiro Ryuu, Haruki Hayashi, and Kazuki Nakamura. With Heavyweight Champion Ryujiro watching closely from the back, these three men fought as if their lives depended on it. The speed and the risks taken in that match are things you simply have to see frame-by-frame to believe.
And then, there was our main event. The Junior Heavyweight Championship was on the line as Sho Imai Jr. defended against the Crimson Lotus’s own Reina Kuroi. The tension between these two was simmering all day, especially with the rumors swirling about the Crimson Lotus’s internal strategies. It was a main event that defined what it means to be a “Junior” in this company—fast, fearless, and utterly exhausting.
I sat down with the champions and the challengers tonight, and the fire in their eyes told the story. This wasn’t just another show; it was a statement. RSPW is entering a new era, and Carnage 38 is the blueprint.
Head over to the Sanctioned Violence Network and witness the spectacle for yourself. From the hard-hitting strikes to the high-flying drama, the “Rising Sun” has never shone brighter. You won’t want to miss a single second of the fallout.
